I wanted to like this game. I like the idea of this game. The controls and gameplay are just too clunky and trying to play it is just not worth the fustration.
Good game if you want to play something like this.

I know that this game is still in development but I gave up a couple of times already, being really frustrated. The user interface and especially the tutorial is just not usable :-( I really regret spending money on this

The game is "released" but is incomplete. I bought it in early access, expecting the game to improve somewhat between beta and release. It did not. As others state, it's very difficult to do anything, because the controls don't really work. The tutorial may as well not exist, for the little it covers.
Overall, it had potential, and fell short.
I like goal oriented games, but when I tried this, the interface was barely functional. I could not even get through the first mission. It had been a month and a half before I could get the machines properly in place, but I could not change the recipe. Frustrated, I uninstalled the game.

Very bad story mode. i got this game on sale for 2.69 and even then i still think it not worth the money.

Candy Machine hätte eindeutig gute Chancen. Auch wenn das Spielprinzip nicht neu ist, ist es ein nettes Prinzip. Ich kenne bereits einige Spiele, wo man solche Produktionsketten aufbauen muss - allen voran sei hier Factory Engineer genannt. Dort macht man genau das gleiche wie hier, nur dass es hier um Kuchen geht - dort um andere Waren. Außerdem werden die Produktionsketten schnell komplexer.
Aus diesem Grund hatte ich an das Spiel recht hohe Erwartungen. Trotz der schlechten Bewertungen dachte ich mir - Mal sehen, so schlimm kann es ja nicht sein.
Es kann. Die Steuerung ist bei weitem noch nicht ausgereift, das Spiel läuft absolut nicht flüssig.
Die Kameraführung ist eine Katastrophe: Abgesehen davon, dass man die jeweils nur im 90 Grad Winkel weiterdrehen kann, ist man nach einer solchen Drehung sicher irgendwo anders, aber nicht dort wo man hinwilll.
Ein Rechtsklick entfernt ein Element von der Karte. So weit so gut. In der Bauphase könnte man diesen Teil allerdings vielleicht ausschalten - das macht die Sache nämlich eindeutig nicht leichter.
Fazit: Schade drum. Viel Potential, (noch) nichts daraus gemacht. Das ist mir nicht mal die 3€ im Abverkauf wert.

I hate the controls. It breaks the game for me. It looked so fun to play. Bummer.
The game is not finished, barely playable in fact nevermind the fact that it is a blatent immitation of Big Pharma!! The employees of positech must be seething at the 5.99 rip off lol
When i lauch the game I press campain (or whatever it is) then i click level 0 and it crashes, Same for Free Play
Tutorial needs more pictures and while trying to read the tutorial my game was zooming in and out
Pelin idea on mielenkiintoinen. Pelissä on ideana kehittää makeistehtaan järjestelmä, jotta voi valmistaa makeisia.
Tämä on hyvin aikainen versio pelistä, joten siinä on paljon bugeja, toiminnan hitautta, minimaalinen sekä äärimmäisen alkeellinen opastus peliin, joten peli ei todellakaam hyvä.
Mutta peli on idealtaan hyvin mielenkiintoinen ja se toimii kohtalaisesti huomioon orraen alkeellinen taso.
Suosittelen ostamaan pelin jo nyt mikäli haluaa tukea valtavirrasta poikkeavaa peliä. Minulle jäi pelistä hyvä maku. Jöön odottamaan tulevia peliversioita!
I would say that for the game's current state it's ok. But the machines/conveyors need to not place when you click on a menu. It gets a bit frustrating when you have to delete something that you didn't place over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Other then that, it's a good game so far with some very good potential to it!
9/10 Would break the economy by overloading it with gummy bears again:P
Game is far from done, badly playable. It's a no go.
i'v been playing the game for around 114 minutes its good i mean there are a few things to add like i would like a fully rotatable camra and a way to name saves now am i saying its worth 6$ i would say kinda i mean there are other games that you could buy that do the same thing just with out candy and more stuff like factorio or infinifactory but they cost more i would save up for them if you could but if you just wan't a simple few hours of casual gaming fun then this would be a good game for you but if you want a longer game with more stuff in it then i would save up for factorio but over all candy machine is a good game i would reccomend it to you if you can not find any thing to spend your money on it and the controlls could use a little of a fix up like that one guy said but yea it's a good game and it's in early access so yea also i would like to see more ways to connect conniver belts together.

This game is too undercooked to recommend. The controls are borderline unusable, and it's very difficult to tell what's going on.
This could be overlooked if it brought something new to the table, but I'm not seeing it. If you were looking for something that plays like Big Pharma, but with interesting twists, keep looking. Or maybe come back when it leaves early access.
The game is in alpha so there are a lot of bugs and I mean a lot! It's still cute and I hope the developer keeps putting time into it. So far its not a complete game but I have faith in it.
