O jogo até que é bem legal, eu comprei porque não sabia que existia um jogo desse filme (é um filme que adoro) e quis ver como seria, não tinha expectativa para esse jogo, e por conta disso acabou me surpreendendo um pouco, é um jogo obviamente para criança, ou seja, não é complicado e nem difícil, é um jogo curto que dá para zerar em uma tarde, e até que é divertido, não segue o filme original, mas é legal, é bom para passar o tempo.

This is a very pleasant platformer game that should satisfy anyone. The gameplay is smooth and long enough that children shouldn't get bored. It's great for a fan of the movie as well as anyone who needs a nice palate cleanser in between longer games, because you don't have to think much. 10/10, I definitely recommend it.

Начну с того, от чего чуточку пригорает: кооп. Тут он был сделан пяткой левой ноги и кое-как присандален. То есть четко видно, что кооп завезли в самый последний момент и это даже не пытались исправлять, из-за чего камера всегда фиксирована на Мериде и жестко к ней прибита, вместо того, чтоб наоборот отдалить камеру и дать возможность двум игрокам себя видеть, как это к примеру сделано в star wars clone wars republic heroes. И ладно, если бы только это. Так второй игрок, который играет за духа, во 1) себя не видит на поле боя, вовторых постоянно вылетает с поля зрения камеры и 3) постоянно из-за всего это умирает, потому что либо падает за пределы карты, либо наступает на шлейф оставленный противником, либо просто не видит, что уперся в противника и его лупят. Это просто ♥♥♥♥♥♥ тупо. То есть для одного - все идеально, без проблем. А вдвоем - это нужно именно научиться понимать и научиться терпеть вот эти неудобства. С другой стороны радует, что в игре есть remote play together и вообще возможность этот самый кооп попробовать. Но из-за того. что игра старая - она пыталась придумать какие-то свои кнопки, вместо того, чтоб показывать нормальные. Это как раз тем людям, которые говорят, что "games for windows live был говно и вообще кому он нужен" - только благодаря нему старые игры сейчас живут и цветут, и в них даже не больно иногда играть. Тут же нужно 10 раз зайти в настройки, чтоб запомнить где синяя кнопка, где красная, где фиолетовая и т.д. по списку.
Плюс снова для тех любителей говорить, что коньсольки говно, а вот на компе у тебя все идеально всегда работает. Тут явный баг несовместимости с модерновыми системами вскрылся, из-за чего как-сцены пытаются в 25-30 кадров, но сама игра рисует 60, из-за чего анимации ломаются. Была бы возможность эмулировать версию х360 или PS3 - возможно в них было бы лучше, особенно по пониманию нажатия кнопок.
Хотя вот я лох, нужно было PS3-версию глянуть.. Дополню может..)
Не уверен, что там кооп не сломан, но хотя бы так. Но сама игра в остальном работает без проблем. Буквально тот самый клон star wars clone wars republic heroes, retchet & clank all 4 one и далее по списку, только с упором на что-то типа диабло. В моем случае в общем, удовольствие доставило, но я приблизительно знаю на что иду, но если не знаете - не пробуйте.., тем более что даже со скидками оно кажется неоправданно дорогим.

Да, оказалось, что PS3 версия нормально играется, с нормальными обозначениями кнопок, чем тут, без проблем с графикой, в отличии от здешнего, но с теми же проблемами с коопом, но это уже ладно, смирился.

Mérida est trop stylée, ses cheveux sont plus rebelles que moi un lundi matin.

Surprisingly good game on a movie-tie in for Disney / Pixar. Funnily enough, I found out about this game on a channel that showcases game prototypes, and well, I looked into it, read some comments, and it apparently was a good game.

Today, I gave it a chance, and I had a lot of fun. The mechanics are quite deep, something you do not expect on a licensed game of all things (trust me guys, there are good licensed games out there, like Sheep Raider on the PS1).

I haven't watched the movie that it's based on in a very long time, but even if you don't really care about the story, there's a lot of fun to have with the gameplay aspect of it. You get a very fluid movement, multiple types of attacks (grass, fire, wind and ice), charge attacks, attacks with your sword or bow, and so on. Never had any problem moving the character around the world, and the attacks are very responsive.

I also played on Normal mode, as I tend to always pick the middle between Easy and Hard, as I can experience how the game was balanced better by the developers. There's also a "Brave" difficulty, I'm not exactly sure what changes, but even on Normal mode, this game is not really a cake-walk. While I didn't exactly died once, I did take damages here and there, and played like a pro. At least on controller, the default button layout felt very good, and I was able to do jumps while using my bow, charging it, and so on.

You can collect coins to purchase upgrades. One gripe I have with the upgrade system is that it's divided by "runes", so you have separate upgrades for grass, fire, wind and ice. For instance, for charge attacks, you have 4 separate upgrades for each type of charge attack. I found that to be a little unnecessary, and I kinda feel like this was put just to make the longevity of the game higher for those looking to get every upgrade. There are also Co-Op upgrades that well, I never used since I played it solo.

Each level also has a couple unlockables, namely new swords, bows, outfits, and some "pieces" that makes you stronger. These are more-or-less just skins, since every sword and bow plays exactly the same, but, upon collecting each one, the damage done is increased on ALL bows, so that's a nice feature. If you prefer a weapon than the other, design-wise, you are free to choose so without sacrificing your damage output.

So yeah, the game apparently has co-op, and by the looks of the upgrades, I'd assume it's sorta similar to Super Mario Galaxy and how the 2nd player can assist on things...?

Another small critique is how there's no proper button layout on screen. It's all done by color code and it feels weird. It's hard to know what options are for A, B, X and Y, and in some cases, the shape of these icons are in the same way of the triggers or shoulder keys, but you still use A, B, X or Y.

The graphics are also not very good. While the particle effects and general environment looks nice for a game from 2012, the main character's model is... ugly, to say the least. The hair in specific isn't very good, and for models as a whole, sometimes the vertices clip here and there (seems to happen only in a couple levels). I don't think graphics really matter TOO much, but yeah, it's something to keep in mind.

It's a little short (I'd say 3-4 hours, if not going for getting every upgrade, but collecting everything that the levels offer), but it also doesn't overstate its welcome. Due to its length, I would recommend getting on a sale. I may go back in getting all the upgrades, who knows. For now, I give it a 8/10.

For a licensed game, it has very fluid movement, a wide variety of different attacks, enemy weaknesses, responsive controls, consistent 60FPS (except on cutscenes that for some reason it's like a weird 20-30FPS hybrid). It has some of that "licensed game" flair, like voice acting throughout the game (even in gameplay, not just cutscenes), and some cheap menu / pickup sound effects, but if you can get over those, it's a game you should definitely try.

one of the more inspired and unique disney/disney princess games. the platforming/twin stick shooter mashup that makes up merida's gameplay is extremely cool. along the way you get different elemental powers that can be used to activate platforms or defeat enemies with specific weaknesses. you can imagine frantically swapping out powers as you fight enemies, but sadly the game almost never does this instead focusing on one weakness per fight. sometimes theres two, but rarely. if there was a NG+ that mixed up the arenas more, the game would be a definitive hidden gem. instead its a solid enough kids game thats fun for the kiddos, which is what its meant to be so can't really fault it for that.

Yes - it´s a hack an slay adventure. But if you as an adult play in co-op with a 7 year old fan - it is doable and rewarding. My 7 year old grand daughter got her hands on this and she wouldnt let go until we beat the game after 9 hours (diff easy). she of course played merida - my job was the "blue ghost" - and to aid her when battles got too rough.

影视改游戏，本身质量一般，粉丝向游戏，看得出来游戏制作组只有部分片段，不清楚原著到底什么剧情只好改编。由原先女巫个人对熊的痴迷变成了诅咒。中期后重复度较高。但值得一玩，尤其考虑到迪士尼其它游戏的质量，值得一个好评（更考虑到勇敢传说啥衍生剧都没有，也可能只是我没找到）。

I first got this for just being a dungeon game with of course based on a Pixar film (which it's shocking for Pixar to make a princess film), and after so much gameplay hours I can say that this... another great game like Lego Incredibles. as long as you look past so many levels not having an explaination why to do them and just enjoy this Dungeon hack and slash, it can be a grand time. while it is best to do a few or so Nvidia control panel overrides to remaster multiple outdated things such as textures. Just remember that the 3D animation cutscenes are at a harsh to look at 30fps so you'll need LSFG to make that a smoother 60fps. also don't alt tab too much in and out of this game or eventually the game will no longer want to receive input. (if I could think of anything better to type i'll edit this)

The best game for people who don’t usually like video games. You can also play co-op with someone playing as a Wisp. (They have a full upgrade tree and everything.) There is controller support but the instruction icons will just show color squares so you sort of have to figure it out, which isn’t hard.
Lastly, there are two secret codes you can enter to get Golden Bow and the Brave Sword.
To unlock the bow: A, A, X, A
To unlock the sword: Y, Y, X, A

The buttons could have been better made and they do not correspond exactly to the description and the camera could be better at times but there are no bugs.
I just don't understand why most Disney games look 10 years older than their movies.

The game is good.
Pros
1) Opportunity to play in cooperative
2) Simple graphics so you don't need beefy pc to play in full hd (Nvidia 940 MX - 2gb) (Intel 6200-U - 2.3 GHz) (Ram = 16 gb), I say that detail because of Witcher 2 not running smoothy in full hd and low quality, but no problem in hd btw (at least at the beginning)
3) Not a much of a challenge to find all of the collectables, but still sometimes requires some attention.
4) Slam attack is really cool, but if you uprgade it up to third level, you can kill almost anybody using only this attack (except for bosses) due to the radius of attack, but I can't deny saying that attack looks cool and on the last level of this attack seems like an explosion, especially looks good with fire element
5) Speaking of elements, standart mechanic sth is stronger than the other and weaker than other element or vs the same elements. Basically there is 4 elements (ground, fire, wind, ice). Some of the enemies are same but with different elements (hoglins, wolves, partically golems). But some of the enemies can be faced only with certain dangerous for them elements (crows - earth, wood fighter and spear thrower - fire, mini bomber - seems supposed to be killed by wind[but can be killed with any type])
6) Speaking of fights they're sometimes can be challenging due to combination of melee, stunning mandrake, and spearer or golem, but most of the time enemies are all the same elements during the fight.

Cons
1) Not hard even on hard difficulty, will try "Brave" difficulty later
2) Not possible to rebind buttons as you would like in game or game launcher, but if you're using controller you won't require it because everything is fine
3) Puzzles with activating plates (at least 6 or more of those plates) are not actually a puzzle, just a pair of a seconds memory game, which is good maybe for kids, but i would prefer some of those puzzels to activate only after discovering some visual guides which will be followed during the level, instead of just guessing the order in which i suppose to follow
4) Slam attack is really cool, but if you uprgade it up to third level, you can kill almost anybody using only this attack (except for bosses) due to the radius of attack.
5) Collectables - swords and bows, they seem really cool and other positive stuff, but excuse me why at the end of collecting, bows and sword are bigger than the main character and second of all how is she still have same dexterity and easily making dodge roll, I wouldn't say that is an aspect of original character in game and full-length cartoon

This game was a toss up of "yes" or "no" to recommend. For any Disney lover out there that enjoys watching the movies and wanting to play a Disney based game, then I would say "yes".

The reason I ended up saying "no" to recommending is because for a newly based player gamer such as myself, I completed the game within a total of 5 hours. The final boss was easy to beat, the puzzles were fairly simple and overall graphics were pretty standard. The graphics reminded me of a loosely bad version of Super Mario (not the newer ones but the older style) and the graphics were hazy at times that it took a while for the picture to stop distorting and come more into focus.

If you're looking for a quick and easy game, then this is it for you. I was honestly expecting more, given how normally games are pretty long nowadays.

Tiene el aliciente añadido de que en algunos momentos peleas con el oso (madre)

Si quieres subir a tope todas las habilidades tienes que dar varias vueltas a cada nivel y si, es bastante corto, pero eso no le resta calidad.

Общее время прохождения занимает около 6 часов. Единственный минус, который подпортил впечатление от игры, вид с камеры : она фиксированная и довольно "топорная". В остальном, я бы поставила оценку 3 из 5. Геймплей простенький, головоломки ещё легче, вытягивает игру симпатичная рисовка и узнаваемый мультяшный персонаж. Я бы предложила купить ее на распродаже по большой скидке (как сделала сама), за полную стоимость брать достаточно устаревший проект я бы не рекомендовала.

Acabo de finalizar a campanha de Brave. E que jogo maravilhoso. Brave é aquele típico jogo de PS2 onde você explora uma fase semiaberta e vai melhorando a sua personagem - a Merida - através, principalmente, da "tienda", que é uma pedra amaldiçoada por Mor'du a qual sai criaturas que você deve derrotar para purificar a pedra e desbloquear a opção de fazer melhorias das habilidades da Merida. Além disso, Merida possui um arco, espada e traje (óbvio, ou você achou que ela iria iniciar sua jornada pelada?) mas você pode desbloquear novos desses itens em baús ao longo das fases. Os irmãos de Merida participam da jogatina também, sendo responsáveis por resolver puzzles para liberar o acesso da irmã a certa áreas principais da campanha. Devo dizer que não fiz todas as melhorias na "tienda" mas consegui todos os arcos, espadas e trajes.

Os pontos negativos desse jogo seriam:
A câmera é fixa, o que impede um maior aproveitamento das paisagens - que são belíssimas, diga-se de passagem - além de atrapalhar na procura de baús;
Enquanto jogava, a Merida travava em certos momentos, não se movimentado direito e até parando enquanto pulava e caindo das plataformas. Isso foi o que mais atrapalhou minha experiência, agora não sei se isso se deu por algum problema no meu controle ou devido algum defeito do jogo;
O ataque potente, uma vez ativado, não pode ser desativado até que se tenha esgotado;
Após um certo tempo jogando, os golpes se tornam repetitivos, mas nada que comprometa a ótima experiência que é este jogo.

Já os pontos positivos são:
Trilha sonora agradável;
Cenários belíssimos (como já dito);
Narrativa única mas mantendo a mensagem do filme (o ódio destrói seu hospedeiro mas o amor liberta quem o tem junto de si);
Dublagem em espanhol maravilhosa.

A pretty decent game all things considered. The gameplay is good enough to make you pretty invested. You can either shoot arrows or fight with the sword. The graphics are not perfect, but sure are good for a 2012 game.

The upgrade system makes it so that you have to grind levels to get money to level up your abilities. One thing I liked a lot is that the puzzles can be skipped. A nice little detail.

The level design is nice too. The levels are very beautifully designed and are engaging enough that playing then many times over doesn't get boring.

However, there are two things that I didn't like about the game. The first are overused cutscenes. Nearly every time after you complete the fight as Elinor you are greeted with the same cutscene. And the ending felt a bit rushed.

Overall, I liked the game and would recommend it to others!

Honestly fun. The Brave difficulty was a bit insane at some parts but doable. It gets easier towards the end. If you like the movie and wish for more, you'll like that Merida's voice actress returns in this. That said, this is not that story based, it's mostly gameplay with cutscenes at the beginning and towards the end, not so much in the middle.

For a single player playthrough, I'd recommend hard. But if you want to try brave, go for it. It is rewarding in the end.

Co-op helps a bit with combat but the non-splitscreen nature of it makes it a bit harder to play as P2. And that the P2 character is tiny, it gets lost under all the visual effects.

Lack of achievements bums me out, considering they are present on other platforms. Achievements in this are quite easy to get in a single playthrough I'd imagine.

Tato zábavná plošinovka s ARPG prvky je určena především dětem, ale na vyšší obtížnosti dokáže připravit dostatečnou zábavu i pro dospělé. Spojuje klasické nájezdy vln nepřátel, logické hádanky (byť v rozsahu pro svojí cílovou skupinu) a k tomu hromadu skákání a hledání skrytých bonusů. Na dětskou hru má dobré množství různých prostředí, typů nepřátel - z nichž každý vyžaduje jinou zbraň na likvidaci a překážek tvořených prostředím. Mezi největší klady patří kompletní lokalizace do češtiny včetně dabingu a možnost hrát na jedné obrazovce ve dvou lidech. Tu spustíte připojením dalšího ovladače / klávesnice.

+ Rozmanité prostředí, překážky i nepřátelé
+ Příjemný hudební podkres

Zápory:

Смотрел давно мультик "Храбрая сердцем" нормальный был для своего времени, смотрю есть игра по мультику, пересмотрел, и принялся смотреть что придумали разработчики.
Порадовали: прокачка, косметика, секретки на локах, индивидуальный подход к противникам (стихии), и конечно же игра за медведицу(королеву), вот где можно поиграть еще за медведя? Там в принципе крушить ломать.

В принципе все по мультику, кроме ряда расхождений, собственно наполнили игру геймплеем, мы посетим 8 локаций не считая хаба, все практически разные, потом правда немного повторятся стало, например 2 ледяных локи. Можно сказать что игра глубже чем казалось бы на первый взгляд. Тут совместили слэшер и шутер ( из лука ) от третьего лица или просто сверху, ибо когда как ( при битве с боссами это решение было не удобным ) да в игре по мимо Мор'Ду есть босы, ух тема про огненного кабана, это что то с чем то, я 30 минут горел на арене, вместе с горящим кабаном, на улице +37, а он душит и душнит, вообщем за это игру - бал ( да кстати с кабанами у меня тут с самого начало не заладилось ибо при первой встрече с кабаном(каменным) я думал что у меня случился баг, ибо его нужно бить воздухом, а меня его еще не было, в общем долбил его(их) из за сложности их 3 было, до посинения). А да арены, на локе по 2-3 арены, где вы проверяете свой скил и правильность прокачки, собственно я не прогадал когда качал в основе огонь, ибо ледяные големы тут это какие то аимеры.

Так же тут есть головоломки, очень простенькие, и при повторном прохождении их можно пропускать, что кстати.
Было приятно играть, видеть как героиня, растет над собой.
Запустилось и работало без танцев с бубном, и сворачивается нормально, в отличии от Bolt, был 1 вылет, но тут автосейвы, по этому нормально. Кстати не приятный баг, то что клавиши не видны, когда говорят вот смотри нажимаешь кнопочку и супер удар, приходилось догадываться самому.

Buon gioco di azione con accenni di avventura, di gioco di piattaforme e di puzzle, ispirato all'omonimo cartone della Disney, e che ha come protagonista la nostra brava... Brave, alias Merida. Circostanziano e concludono le caratteristiche del gioco gli aspetti di crescita del personaggio e la presenza di negozi di armi, che potenziano la nostra eroina, e di vestiti, che invece sono solo di abbellimento. La visuale è da lontano ed inquadra lo scenario in cui si muove Brave che combatte di spada e di arco ed è capace di salti e di repentini scatti, possibili, questi ultimi, allorché si è comprata questa facoltà: infatti Merida ha la possibilità di reperire in giro monete da spendere in determinati punti per comprare varie abilità. Il combattimento prende spunto dal concetto di forbice-carta-sasso in quanto si fonda sui quattro elementi di ghiaccio, aria, fuoco e terra, ognuno dei quali ha la meglio su determinati tipi di nemici e può stimolare determinati punti dello scenario inducendolo a modificarsi.
Ma la protagonista non spicca e la storia non fa decollare il coinvolgimento del giocatore nel gioco: le scene di intermezzo in cui si racconta l'evoluzione delle vicende di Brave e della sua famiglia ed i commenti ripetitivi e da automa di Brave portano a far defluire stancamente il gioco verso il trito finale. Il combattimento ha qualche nota positiva ed in definitiva diverte: Brave si muove bene e si avvale delle sue facoltà di scegliere tra i quatto elementi e di usufruire dei potenziamenti che ha saggiamente comprato precedentemente al negozio. Poi ci sono le scene di combattimento in cui entra in campo la possente madre Elinor che nelle sue sembianze ursine spazza via tutto e tutti: non è facile avere giochi in cui ci siano questi sussulti di onnipotenza, che possono esaltare alcuni giocatori ma d'altra parte annoiare altri; per quanto mi riguarda mi piace che ogni tanto in un gioco non devi penare con il tuo povero coltellino contro il mammasantissima di turno.
La sezione di gioco di puzzle vede scendere in campo i fratellini-orsetti alle prese con semplici enigmi.
Colgo poi l'occasione per un appello di libertà (!). In questi tempi così emancipati ed in cui tutti spolverano i diritti delle minoranze, degli LGBT, ecc, nessuno sfila contro il razzi..smo degli sviluppatori che pretendono che il giocatore di PC sia di un solo tipo, come quello per esempio delle persone che usano il solito wasd e tasti associati: e quegli altri che usano tasti differenti da quelli imposti? Rimangono dei paria ai confini della società?
Mi sono riferito al finale definendolo come trito perché non è chiaro come mai la circostanza per cui una madre che esercita coercizione sulla figlia per imporle la sua volontà debba essere sempre e comunque una morale universalmente accettata: ma questa considerazione in effetti esula dall'ambito del gioco in quanto più pertinente al cartone da cui il gioco prende spunto.
Grafica e sonoro accettabili, ed un po' di ore di divertimento per chi vuol cogliere l'occasione per accaparrarselo ad un buon prezzo.
