Je suis à peu près à la moitié du jeu et j'en peux plus ! Avoir les créatures ça ne suffit pas ! Faut farm pour ouvrir des emplacements pour les créatures, farm pour avoir les créatures en rareté augmentée, farm les levels et farm les points de talents !
C'est une prolongation du temps de jeu qui est à mon sens très casse-pied.
Si vous aimez le farm allez-y mais personnellement, je trouve que c'est trop.

I love the creature-collecting idea for a roguelite but the creatures are really just spells with a creature animation. I knew that when I bought it, but I expected to like it more than I did. This game is fine if you like action roguelites but it's not for me. 6/10
This game starts out great right until you hit the grind and that means everything in this game is nothing but grind, you get a slightly better monster the grind starts over with xp farming and traits and the time sink is not worth it then you have all the materials needed to upgrade everything that you only get one of for the most part meaning multiple runs just to get one resource high enough to upgrade one item once but you can hold six artifacts that all need upgrading but you also need shards just so you can carry six in the first place same goes, then there is the fact that everything has a pointless timer so you could be going to do a hard mission and go to heal to find out that all the food you made expired for no reason and now you are screwed

Honestly the game is super fun, at first it also feels easy but as you advance it becomes harder, not super hard but challenging enough. The game doesn't force you to keep playing, in fact you can just go for the run on some maps which are procedural to get some fun, get some exp, get some items or whatever and come back, then when you decide do the story map instance.
Now about the Story thus far is interesting, maybe kind of cliche but entertaining at least and with a plot decent enough to keep you developing it as you advance.
The game also has some deep mechanics as you advance, they don't feel heavy enough to get walled without fully embracing them but they are there to help and make the game more fun and give you your own options to diversify your gameplay

This is shallow, repetitive and boring, hard pass. The creature control is infuriating as they have no depth or interest they just run up and deal a little damage. The levels are short and empty only a few enemie here and there. The grind is imense for no reason and has barely any return (such a plus 10 hp for and upgrade). the combat is just floaty and sluggish with you taking a lot of cheap shots that do way too much damage since damaging your monsters also deal damage to you if the monster in your team has no HP left.
Overall a bad and aggravating time, and a no go.
All the grammatical mistakes make me nauseous. Could have a t least made a first pass. The dialogue is so painful to read, the sentences are really rough. Then you have words like "sinergy" etc. all over. The items and such aren't much better at conveying information for this same reason.
Wow. I really want to like this game, but every aspect of it from the 3 depth onward is insanely poorly done. The second boss fight makes me want to rip my hair out with all the cheap ways it makes you take damage, and I've found myself turning off the game when I just can't take any more spawns on top of enemies or dying to something completely out of my control.
Really chill and fun creature collecting game. Progress do gets hard at depth 7-8 if you are new, but when you find your best party it just clicks and you can go trough everything- it is very satisfying.
Number of creature synergies along with runes and items is amazing.
There is room for improvement, for example more staff skills could be added or ability to check tutorials in game.
Enjoyable twist on creature collecting. Might be short a little in the creature amount I think there is something like 70 tamables? I still had a good time with it.
This team is on to something. I wish this game had taken off, I could see it being turned into something incredible. Unfortunately, it really just feels like a great proof of concept that never got the polish it deserved. Sad bananas.

Support for this game seems dead. Last update was December 2023....
Was hoping for more tweaks on the game. Concept wise, I was drawn in and bought it. Once I got to playing it though, it got repetitive fast. Not much going on. Some other comments mention it was initially a rougelite which makes a lot of sense on why it feels repetitive. Just don't feel like they did enough to go full RPG because the game would likely be better as a roguelite. Having something fast paced and increasingly challenging would be much better than the slow grind it is now.
The game loop seems simple at first but is incredibly satisfying and fun to play. The creature combos and figuring them out is addictive. Its also nice choosing which areas to visit based on the resources available that run and what I need.
My only dislike is that because of the synergy system it seems I get penalised for doubling up on creatures, which I realise is intentional but I feel like it would have been nice. Also it wasn't very clear to me that this was the case from the tutorial which i feel could have been a bit more detailed with regards to synergies. Especially considering once you level them you cant undo it without grinding the essence again in the levels. Its a nitpick though, I had a much better time in my second run.
That aside again the game plays really well and sounds amazing. Its also the first single player to hold my attention this long since I started grinding multiplayer games. Its relaxing and feels rewarding to play. There is strategy in choosing levels and just enough skill ceiling in the taming mechanic to make it rewarding but not infuriating.
I haven't finished it yet but its progressing nicely.
I really wish I could recommend this game. However, I'm not.

OKAY:

ANNOYING:
Capturing creatures, is annoying and doesn't feel very well thought out.
For most creatures it is okay, but some you need a specific build to capture.
Your dodge uses the same energy as summoning creatures. I wish this was on s separate cooldown.
If you dodge, you lose your creature capture meter.
You can get interrupted with a stun, that resets your capture meter.
The creature capture zone, moves around and your not exactly fast enough to keep up and evade attacks.
PAINFUL:
Capturing creatures, but the blessed ones. You need to stockpile food to tank there hits.
Your stuns, and freezes need to be charged up to even stand a change capturing some creatures,
which is super difficult if you need to do it three times, while other creatures are summoned each time.
The creature capture zone moves as I've said before, but some of the creatures move around super erratically as well, and that zone gets smaller every time.
Overall, I feel this game would have done better if the key focus was fun, not difficulty in capturing creatures.
A cute, small creature collector game. Have few unique features compared to similar games. If you like that type of games, you will be enjoy it.
The concept is what originally drew me in.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this game, on principal level it's pretty cool, the concept is quite fresh for monster collector games. However, when it comes gameplay, the combat being the core mechanic is where this game falls apart for me. Combat is too floaty and often times lacks feedback and telegraphing and often it is what makes the combat unfun.
Arenas don't fit certain combat scenarios, and given that there is no tactical or strategical depth, you almost always end up spamming your monsters while running in circles around enemies (provided there is room, otherwise it's semi-circles)
Seems like lost potential. For me it is a disappointment.
Great game with great art
This is great, very unique approach to monster collecting and summoning, with real time combat for once. Taking care of summoning the right creatures and the sinergies between them is plenty fun. But it's not without flaws, it can be repetitive and horribly grindy, the constant ingredient and material farming is annoying at best, and the creature skills are used automatically when you summon them, so you either reserve some or stop caring and just summon them as normal, which I did. I wish the devs luck in the future, I would love to see a sequel with more laborate systems, actual hotkeys for the skills and maybe carrying more creatures in your team, lots of room for improvement and great strategic potential
This game is more mixed for me. I've 100% the game and built all the creature to satisfaction however bugs and lack of quality of life makes this game hard to recommend with certainty.
I love the art style and unique game play of summoning creature. Its more of a top down dungeon crawler but the gimmick is your creature is stand in for you ability.
Creature have their own health and you need to manager theirs and yours. Later you can customize creature ability with synergy and these can be quite game changing. Synergy can add new effect or enhance existing abilities. But it requires a creature of the synergy type to be in your party. However synergy cost essence and it can not be refunded. Resetting the synergy destroy the applies essence. This makes the game very unfriendly to experimentation as essence is quite time consuming to farm.
The game is consist of procedural generated map layout with hand made area. Each map will contain various resources and consumable. Later you gain access to expedition that is up to 3 maps of different type of biome that only count for one day. Expedition are preferable for its vast amount of resources, upgrades and bless.
The capture mechanic can be quite fiddly, you need to stand within a cone that swivel and rotate. Thankfully there are trinket and creature ability that makes it easier and manageable. Tougher and late game creature needs their health managed and carefully timed ability for successful capture.
Mid to late game you have access to hunts that let you pick specific bless and super blessed. Super bless creature are important as they always give max out traits. However expect to reroll several super bless as traits given are randomised, you get to pick between two trait for each of the 4 trait slots for some control, however there more than 8 traits and you may not see the trait slot you want in the trait selection pool for that creature.
Creature capture are limited by 3 Gatedrik particle. By mid to late game you will hate this limit. Early game it made sense as you had to make some sensible decision. But by mid to late game when bless and super bless consume 2-3 Gatedrik particle it will feel very limiting. The maximum amount of Gatedrik particle can not be upgraded. Often you will end up having to kill super bless you wanted to keep because of this as multiple can show up in expedition.
Hunts consume resource intensive essence, product of capturing creature. Failing hunt loses your hard earned essence. Despite it showing 3 skull symbol for tries, it is only for death which is incredibly rare for you to die during hunts. Killing your target or letting the map that the target is on expires ends the hunt and you must start again. Because of the time and resource investment of hunts I recommend just save scumming and saving time especially since may want to reroll the creature and especially for super bless legendary that are quite expensive to hunt.
Your Main character have equip-able trinket that majority of effect is kind of underwhelming even when upgraded. Unfortunately the game felt you need limit the full amount of upgrades you can have despite being the boost being quite small. This can be very disheartening if you farmed quite a bit for those trinket upgrade. Especially when the upgrades are miniscule, pushing only a few percent.
All consumable item are on a timer that tick down for each run, this is fine for health consumable. You can further extend consumable by cooking for them.
Unfortunately the time limit includes insects which is vital for cooking +6 traits. Insects is a nice way to compensate bad trait rolls, unfortunately its all up to luck. If you want certain skill you have to hope that 3 of the insect you want are available within 3 day, as all 3 must be cooked at once. This can be quite tedious. If the game had a fridge you could use to extend timer on a few consumable this would mitigate some frustration with luck base gathering.
Now for the biggest reason I wouldn't recommend the game. Its still buggy and its been almost about 10 month since last patch as of time of writing.
One of the most frequent bug is mounting one of your creature and ending up in inescapable area which can kill your run unless you have another mount charged, trinket that can regenerate creature ability or manage to kill every creature in the area.
Late game there are temple you can raid for gem for bonuses effect on trinket, limited by upgrade amount. About 1 in 15 runs the exit will not be interact-able and the run is killed. Especially frustrating if it happens at the end of expedition or ascension.
On rare occasion you can't back out of the menu and you have to force close, killing the run.
If you have to force close because of a bug, most of the time it will count it as death. This skips a day and forces you to spend another to retrieve your stuff.
One of the creature by name of Zoras is still bugged with circle of fire synergy. Does nothing, unless you fight an enemy Zhoras and it uses the circle of fire attack. Then your Zhoras fire of circle works.
Overall if you're looking to get invested in this game, expect some kinks and element of frustration.
Slow , repetitive and boring
THIS is the first game i could find that implements real time action combat with taming mechanics and love it.
The artstyle is adorable (intended) and combat is super interesting. Also the soundtrack is super chill.
If you ever wondered how real time montser taming could look like or how a modern approach to digimon world 2000s combat would feel like, give this game a try!

Really cool game with an interesting concept that can easily keep you playing. Loved using different creatures together to create different deadly duos, for a small indie game highly impressed because it’s very original !
Great idea with what feels like sloppy execution.
I made it most of the way through the game, keeping myself going on feeling like if I just stuck with it and I got powerful creatures, then maybe I'd enjoy it. The creatures themselves are very well designed and I think that really kept me on the hook, but it's just not really held up.

Some gripes I've had with it:
1. Start with a fairly light one, translation/writing from a technical perspective. Has a decent amount of poor sentence structure and typos and not in a way that feels intentional for the tribal characters/setting.
2. Has a pretty significant pacing problem, on multiple fronts. The first and most glaring one is how tedious it is unlocking storage space for your creatures. It takes a rather notable amount of these shard items that you only get 1-2 of per map traversed. You also need these shards for other things, which doesn't feel as tedious (these upgrades are more powerful, so having to grind a bit doesn't feel too bad).
The second pacing issue is in some of the little mini-quests. For example, there's a common mission where you have to get 2 energy orbs from one spot to another. While doing so, enemies continuously spawn 1-2 at a time, and every time they get near the orb, it stops moving. These missions are not -difficult- in the slightest, just extremely tedious, forcing you to stop and fight easily dispatched enemies over and over at what feels like a snail-crawl pace, and you have to do it *twice* per mission. Another mission features just standing on buttons and waiting for them to charge.
3. Randomized nature of the trait system (effectively, your creature's skill tree) feels needless and annoying. Any one of them can get randomly assigned traits that are sometimes completely useless to the creature in question. Considering how luck-based acquiring your best creatures already is, it's annoying to have to go find another one when them popping up on the map at all is already a waiting game.
4. Balance issues. The combat feels like it distinctly favors certain types of creatures over others, favoring a hit-and-run strategy with speedy hard-hitters that you quickly recall after deploying. Healing is scarce enough that you really can't afford to let creatures stay out and take hits, and tanky creatures have virtually no way to sustain themselves unless they get lucky with the previously-mentioned very unreliable trait system.
In creature-collector games it's pretty normal to have some that are better than others, that's fine. But this is moreso an issue of "classes" feeling unbalanced. Tanks or otherwise slow hitters don't feel viable at all in my experience.

What I liked:
1. The creature design. The vast majority of creatures in this game are very well designed imo. They have a decent variety to them but all of them have that "buddy" feel to some degree. From a gameplay perspective, they also do a decent job of making each of the creatures feel pretty distinct from each other.
2. Synergy system. A neat idea that I would've liked to see expanded on, you can effectively infuse the energy of some creatures into other creatures, and the infused creature will get bonuses if another creature that matches it's infused energy type in your party. Nice way to encourage seeking out a party that actually functions well with itself while giving the flexibility to make that happen outside their innate abilities.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend it, but I'd maybe give another game by them a try in the future. This game had pretty strong "first project" vibes and maybe was just ambitious for the skill level of the developers.
It wasn't THE summoner game I hoped it to be, but it was still fine.

I have watched two shows while doing this.
I remember enjoying this game back in early access, but it seems like there was a major shift in design and this isn't a roguelike anymore. That's honestly disappointing, as I supported a roguelike and ended up getting a different product in the end.
The change in design made the game far worse imo. Before, this was a fun roguelike where you go through small levels, battling bosses. It actually posed a challenge. Now that I tried the full release, I've been playing 45 mins of fetch quests, and each run has only lasted below 10 mins. This made the game feel very linear and quite boring.
I'm not sure if the game lets you play longer once you finish the story, but I'm not enjoying the game enough to make it through to the end.
The game has a lot of designs made to waste your time:
Each area in the "dungeon" might as well just be a circle arena because it functions as one. An area is relatively big for only housing 3-5 enemies. You waste a lot of time walking to find enemies, and there's no other reason to explore. The game even knows this, as it encourages you to use the map to teleport to the next area instead of walking to it.
Item drops should be automatically collected rather than needing to be interacted with. There's no inventory management to consider, so having to walk and interact to collect drops is just another instance of the game wasting your time.
The new hub area is unnecessarily big. The game once again wastes your time walking to interact with each npc.
This was just a big disappointment, as the game really had a lot of potential back in EA. It felt akin to Gungeon but had unique combat gameplay. Now I'm honestly not sure what the game is even trying to be.
Fun rouge like with a unique combat/catching system. Quick story with lots of replay-ability!
A unique blend of creature collector and ARPG.
Creatures are captured and short-summoned to do an attack or two then recalled. You play offense by recalling creatures before they take damage and casting them at the best times (casts per regenerating resource being the limiting factor). You play defense by looking out for your own health and the health of your pokemon.
Level up pokemon. Empower them with items. Empower character with passives that affect character and pokemon. Minor crafting elements.
Solid game. Repetitive, but what ARPG/Creature-Collector isn't, amirite?
This kind of thing is what we need more of. Games are pidgeonholing themselves by refining further and further toward a singular genre. Games that mix elements from a *limited number* of genres are where we'll see the innovation in the next few years. This is one of those games. Finite. Imperfect. Quality.
Yes, strongly recommended if you like:
- great character and creature design, good graphics explorable map/area
- isometric 3D view, sweet not making me dizzy :)
- KBM controls can be changed, rebind, great!
- bug free gameplay with unlimited rolls (yup, no stamina for rolling)
- enjoyable creature-collecting with real time exploring/battle (not a turn base)
- tons of diff creature to collect, lvl up, skillup, then summon them in battle with you.
- mix and setup your creature team (dps/CC/tank/healer) to fight as companion (with good AI)
- strategize, yeah need to think you cannot just summon, while you sip tea :P
- different levels of dgn/maps, to choose with changing drops/monster to collect
- grinding is not boring as you have plans what you are grinding to get
- loot artifact you can enhance, find materials to enhance artifact, loot food and cook (diff recipe) for healing and buff
- hunt the monster you want to get an upgrade version Normal > Blessed > super blessed stronger version
- NOT a rougelike thing that you loose a lot when you die, sure can loose some gold but can get back and retrieve not a big thing
- story driven (although not too deep is guiding you and wont get lost), good enough for me.
Ardore is super fun game, i love it! And I like to see Adore 2 :)
This game is fun BUT.....
I played roughly about 7hours and I encountered a game breaking bug.. I completely broke my save and the developers WILL NOT fix the bug EVER as "it is a completed game thus we stopped supporting it, moving on to other projects"

bug太恶心，一晚上的努力因为一个bug功亏一篑，hunt到最终boss的时候一个主输出宠物因为bug召唤不出来导致我在boss最后一条命的时候失败了，更离谱的是失败了就得重新收集三个大魂然后再过四个极度重复的关卡，然后精灵球只能在关卡里获取且上限只有3个，一个三星传奇精灵就要用三个球来抓，所以在收集大魂之前我还得去极度重复的关卡里重新收集三个球，游戏只有一个存档也不能随时保存，因为保存就得退出，所以没办法回档，作为一个抓宠养成游戏我不理解这么设计的意义，靠恶心玩家的方式来堆游戏时长？还有就是没有中文，各位慎入
good game
The first 4 creatures I collected were:
-A badger that dashes forward and scratches
-A cat that dashes forward and slashes
-A deer that dashes forward and headbutts
-A boar that dashes forward and stabs.
If you love animals dashing forward and do things, then this is an absolute banger.
I quickly got bored and just ran around dodging while spamming the 4 summon buttons indiscriminately, and won pretty easily.

a few bugs.
what seems at first a fairly deep game with lots of choices of team makeup ends up being really really simple. 20% of your monsters are pure garbage with bad AI, slow, weak attacks, or specials you DON'T want to use. 60% are ok, if you run them with a good monster, the good monster will carry successfully. And then, in the "final" fight of the main quest, you probably won't be able to use the good monsters anyways and have to use the legendaries due to the 2-3x higher health pool making the fight less of a chug-a-potion fest.
Seems like 30-50% of the game is set after your main quest is over and the game is nominally "done" (Dragon class monsters, acensions, hunts, gems, 1 relic)
Game crashed a handful of times during normal play, but after starting the "after done" game, started getting stuck *in* terrain, monsters not attacking, and other game breaking bugs in half my runs. And since there's no /unstuck or /reload type command, you're forced to "go back to town" which penalizes you the same as if you died. Lost all my collected coins/shards several times as things broke during corpse runs from the previous time it broke. That kills the fun pretty fast.

Mon avis est un peu mitigé concernant ce jeu.
Le concept est original et promet de belles choses, les "créatures" sont plutôt bien designées avec des attaques assez variées... Mais le jeu est très redondant
En effet, vous aurez une série de missions à réaliser à travers différentes maps qui se débloquent au fur et à mesure (capturer des créatures, récupérer des items etc...) Mais globalement, c'est toujours la même chose. Vous partez en mission, vous combattez, vous revenez, vous dialoguez avec un PnJ et vous repartez. Au sein des maps, c'est découpé en "salles" et vous devrez : combattre toutes les créatures, activer des leviers ou guider une sphère vers un emplacement... Et c'est tout
Le système de capture de créature est également pénible, surtout quand vous tenterez de capturer des créatures bénies (plus puissantes)
Je mets cependant une note positive au jeu car je pense qu'il pourrait convenir à des personnes cherchant un jeu chill sans trop de mécaniques. Fun dungeon runner creature collector. I love the action gameplay rather than turned based, and it it is done well.
The capturing mechanism is great, needing to stand in a specific section next to the monster for a certain amount of time. And is easier if the enemy is damaged.
Combat works mostly good. Good leveling up system. Good system for runes and perks when you use two monsters at the same time.
Bigger big/gripe is the monsters stats at your home base done show correctly when you first catch the monster, and you have to add the monster to your line up to even see what level they are.
Very fun and am always saying- just one more dungeon run and then I'm done but it goes on for a lot longer than one.
High recommend.

Very addictive creature battler/collector. Is a live action top-down rpg game. I'd say its very similar to Magicka or Zengon's sort of gameplay. It's smooth feeling, quick loads, doesn't waste your time. The dungeons generate randomly as do the rewards within them. The city unfolds and unlocks (similar to Bastion) as you progress the quests. What I like most is the taming process, basically you have to channel a "tame" while the thing is attacking you. Very similar to og wow hunter days. The graphics are very nice and the artwork is pretty. Monsters are very appealing also, many are pretty cool looking actually.
If you don't want to read my entire review, just trust me and know that THIS GAME SUCKS! It's so bad that I will flat out say you shouldn't even download it if they make it a free game.
I went into this game expecting a $20 game.
I did not get that experience whatsoever.
YOU WILL NOT ADORE THIS GAME!
I got bored after I played the first area and already saw a repetition in the map, but you open up new areas and progressively unlock more stuff easily, so I figured I should give it a full try, thinking that maybe, just maybe, they expand the maps a bit, or add more parts to it. So I played it up to an hour, and let me tell you, it didn't get better.
Pros
- Visually wonderful! From the artwork loading screens to the character designs, this game nailed the visual for this game. It gives off a Diablo 1 feel that is intriguing for a creature collector game.
- The music great to the point where I didn't completely turn it off.
- There's a decent combat style you can dig deep into and explore, setting up various different styles of gameplay to make your experience unique.
The pros are there to deceive you into buying this crap.
Cons
- The storyline tries to joke about itself, and it falls flat at every turn. You interact with NPCs who don't know who you are, how you got there, and don't believe anything you say... but they welcome you into their small town and completely help you become this all powerful being to go fight and control legendary creatures that they think killed a God. Yeah, okay.
- This feels 100% like a phone port, and not even a good one. All the maps are procedural generated. Each area uses the same I'd say 6 different tile sets, and makes you grind through them to progress. These spaces are TINY! One screen of a dungeon in Diablo (I reference Diablo a lot because it's made to mimic the style of the first game) has more content than the entire map of one encounter does if you'd put them all together. You get put into a tile, fight your way through 2-6 monsters, then you can move onto the next one that could be the one you just did, or one of the five others with the same amount of encounter, and maybe one item on the map. The lack of content in the maps followed by the constant repetition makes me despise this game as much as i hated Jade Cocoon 2. No, even Jade Cocoon 2 was better than this garbage. This game had promise; Creature Collecting with a dungeon crawler throwback feel so you can relive those old school Diablo glory days mixed with a unique character progression based off the creatures you put in your party, but then they did this crap where they put so little effort into the level design that you can't help but wonder if they paid people to give them positive reviews.
- They put your encounters on a limited time where they switch scenarios. What I mean by scenarios is the missions you teleport to where the tiny procedural generated map puts you into fights through the whole area which is about 5-8 little procedural tiles that I explained before, and when you finish your objective, you town portal back (Yes, this is literally how you move through the entire game). That counts as 1 day passing. The encounters are on a time limit of a specific number of days when they spawn, and if you don't do them, they'll disappear. Multiple times in this one hour, I had to choose between doing my main mission, or to collect more stuff to be able to capture something, or to be able to open a chest, or find a creature I wanted. Since each encounter lasts maybe 5 minutes if you're milking it, you get a total of maybe 3 items the entire run. It's overworking the situation to get too little of a reward.
- This game is tagged as difficult. I did not ONCE feel any sort of difficulty the entire time I played. I fought a boss, I got attacked by 6 monsters at once, and I ran around with one monster as my attack for multiple levels because I kept getting missions that didn't give me the orbs or whatever they were to capture new creatures for 3 missions straight before I realized you can switch between missions on the same map. Not once did I feel like I was in danger. Not even a little bit. I felt like I was playing as a lvl 50 walking through the beginning of the game the entire time. My attacks one shot enemies. I could roll into an attack and not be hit by it. The monsters are slower than you are, and they're so incredibly predictable AND stop completely to take a second or two when they're about to attack. Every enemy did this. Nothing about this was difficult.
I really don't understand how this game isn't a free phone game and is instead $20 on Steam. I got it in a Fanatical bundle, and I still regret wasting a slot of my bundle on it. If I could take back anything from this game, I would. I want my time back from watching the trailer, from downloading it, and from playing it. This was such a disappointment that I would say this is THE WORST game I've played this year, and I literally play idle games for fun. Your game is the epitome of awful gaming, and I hope people find my review and avoid it because it doesn't deserve to be played.

I don't know exactly which reports or which trailers deceived me, but I expected a monster catching game, in which you assemble a group of animal minions and try to keep them alive in fights. You would care for them, train them and level them up. Basically being a bestiamancer.

The monsters don't stay. You basically use them instead of skills (this really shocked me). They stay for a very short time, attack two or three times, then return to you. You have to manage some kind of "summon energy", so mostly you only have two monsters active at the same time. [i]boring[/i]
If your monsters would die, they enter a special state instead, in which they are still some kind of "alive" but if they get damaged further, YOU (your character) is losing life instead. You can remove that curse by giving them a break in the archive. [i]interesting concept[/i]
The monsters are beautiful and very different from each other. [i]nice[/i]
[h3] Story [/h3]
There IS a story. You are possessed by a dragon and he uses you to get back his power. But you can't really grasp the story because of the shortcomings of the game (you have to read further). [i]that's a pity[/i]
[h3] Level design [/h3]
The central area is a hub with your monster archive, an NPC for improving your monster's skills, an NPC for cooking food and and an NPC for improving artifacts. From here on the whole game is essentially the Diablo 3 Post game (rifts). You have no coherent world to explore, although there are some kind of "biomes".

This game definitely has its charm. But its flaws, especially the execution of the monster trainer aspect and the rift based grinding which could not motivate me and the silly music, made me stop playing it. As the saying goes: "I wanted to like it." But I can't.
A big plus are the monster design and the graphics. The game runs smooth like butter.
Please don't take this review too harsh. I was kind of bored and wanted to practise my English. It's definitely NOT a [u]bad[/u] game.

Great game, took me 20h to finish the main story line.
Although it needs a bit quality of life for the long run, for example. Release captured creatures on spot or without equipping it. No limit on orbs, and so on.

Really enjoying this experience so far.
It has an interesting gameplay mechanic, focusing on positioning and sysnergies between creatures, instead of the most commom fast paced ARPGs.
Interesting and well executed twist to the genre.
Very good and interesting combat once you get the hang of it becomes really fun

Adore como monster catcher é um jogo muito sólido, já que nos obriga a escolher bem que monstros queremos apanhar, com que os atacamos (dado que é mais fácil capturar um monstro enfraquecido) e coordenar muito bem a captura, já que ficamos expostos diretamente aos ataques do monstro selvagem.
A aventura progride de forma muito simples: vão recebendo missões, descobrindo mais sobre vocês próprios e o vosso principal inimigo, enfrentando novos monstros, batalhando contra novos lendários e formado equipas diversas. O número de monstros é significativo, diverso e bastante interessante. Dado que é díficil obter recursos, acho que são num número adequado para o que o jogo nos propõe.
Nunca conseguem evocar todos os monstros à batalha, porque a vossa mana é limitada, precisam de recuperar algum do folgo e estar sempre atento ao que vos rodeia para escolher o próximo mosntro a chamar.
Como não têm um ataque direto, acabam por ser uma presença passiva no jogo mas que têm a mana e a barra de vida principal ligada a si, sendo Lukha o elo mais frágil da equipa. Ficaria muito contente com um ataque ativo, mesmo que fosse algo fraco e com cooldown alto, porque trazia imenso ao jogo.
As sinergias são muito interessantes e adicionam uma camada positiva à jogabilidade, obrigando-vos a pensar melhor que combinações de 4 monstros fazer para serem bem sucedidos. Podem viver sem isso, mas acreditam que será bastante mais complicado.
Sempre que um mostro morre entra num sistema crítico em que se os chamarem de novo, todo o dano feito a eles é feito diretamente a vós. Se sobreviverem a esse run com eles ou morrerem, os mosntros ficam num estado limitado, por isso se não tiverem items para os curarem são obrigados a deixá-los a recuperar, o que pode dificultar muito as missões (quanto mais importante essa criatura no vosso grupo, maior o tombo).
O que acaba por acontecer quando eles ficam nesse estado é apostarem em missões mais pequenas e básicas, só para assegurar que passa um turno e eles recuperam. Isso acaba por provocar um extra-grind que não acho positivo para o jogo, especialmente quando morrem em batalha ou voltam com baixas graves. Em algumas situações sentimos que os monstros tomaram a pior decisão possível ao serem chamados à batalha e isso acaba por nos comprometer muito.
A música é um dos pontos mais fracos do jogo, ao ser repetitiva e em loop, tornando-se mesmo difícil de jogar com áudio de forma ativa, tal a repetividade.
A história também não me deixou muito entusiasmado, porque acho que tem uma lógica muito adolescente, mas talvez seja esse o público principal do jogo, que está disponível para multiplas plataformas.

The game consists of missions in generated locations, in which you need to kill all the creatures, collect loot and return to the village.
Lukha has an inventory, equipment, map, quest log and 4 creature slots.
Lukha cannot fight, but can capture and then summon various creatures to attack its enemies. In addition, Lukha can dash to break some objects, collect and use loot.
Lukha can use up to 4 creatures in battle at the same time. Summoning creatures requires stamina.
Creatures can be changed in quick access slots, pumped up, equipped, and new skills can be unlocked for them.
The creatures have health bars that can be restored in the village or using found/cooked food.

First of all welcome to my essay or whining if you will. It was a tough choice for me to say whether that should be a positive or negative review however the outcome you already know by now. First of all as far as i can tell this is a first game of Cadabra Games studio and it is a solid and fun title therefore i believe they deserve a positive. Its fun fast paced and even tho its not exactly difficult it's no super easy either, fighting is satisfying creatures diverse and distinct with roles. It was rebuild from ground up at least once since it started as a roguelite in 2019 and i think game has some weird design decisions or big ass mistakes like ones in beastiary ui (unable to scroll only swipe like its a mobile game, why ? just why) game is unbalanced since the best team is two mushrooms and anything else for synergy but overall it was a good first experience for the team and im looking forward to their next idea

I really didn't think I was gonna like it too much based on the demo alone. Once I started playing though things made more sense and the game became a bit easier. Now I just find it fun. I got all my achievements so I'll be moving on to another game but this one is a great time dump! The rest of the game is basically a more fun version of the demo, not that that's a bad thing.
While the game-play is very novel, it becomes very boring after a few hours. I would get it on sale. Also the music is booty cheeks so put on some Pokemon music in the background. I know someone is gonna say that the end game is more fun, but no one wants to do chores for 15 hours to get to the fun stuff.

Shortly after my review an update fixed the two bugs that annoyed me so much that I quit the game. After testing for a bit I think the bugs are gone, so I changed my review to recommended.
Be aware that the game is enojyable as long as you like the core gameplay loop (which you can try out in the first couple of minutes). It allows you a lot of freedom for your loadout while suffering a bit from too little variety in level objectives. The story was alright and the endgame expands the available options from the story mode, offering new creatures and harder difficulties as well as more ways to customize your equipment.

I have played Adore during Early Access and came back for the 1.0 release.
The game has some neat mechanics and I liked the combat well enough to play through the game's main storyline. I would recommend this game, but...
It has two really annoying bugs, one of them takes away control from you when playing with the mouse movement option, which could be solved by switching to a second keyboard movement option. Also you are still able to summon your creatures, so depending on the situation you can still finish the room you are in.
But the second, more aggravating bug happens right as you try to finish a level, your character stays below the exit portal in a running animation. The only thing that "helps" is quitting the game. Quitting is counted as losing, so when you load the game back up you have to go through another mission just to get back everything you've lost (all your money and fragments which are used for some upgrades to your character). This doesn't happen very often, maybe every fourth or fifth mission, but that was enough for me to finally quit playing this game before being able to completely test the endgame (which there seems to be plenty of).
If those bugs get fixed I would recommend the game, but as of right now I cannot.
First of all, this game would be amazing if there was more work put into it. The Idea is great however at this stage it seems rather boring.
Here is why:
#1 A game based on taming and using monsters which only includes 39 monster in total is kinda low and unsatisfactory.
#2 Boring maps. You literally play tiny segments of maps which all look the same over and over again. The only interactive thing in the maps is the Vases which like 10% of the time drop you some coins and thats all.
#3 Music - even tho the tracks are quite nice, they play on loop forever and there is only like 5 songs total. When you start the game first time the volume is also extremely loud.
#4 Grinding - you have to grind like all the time to even unlock SLOTS TO PUT UR MONSTERS! Yes, unlike in pokemon where you can catch as many as you want, they just get stored in the PC and you can withdraw them any time, here you start with only 8 slots and every time you get a new monster you have to first unlock a slot for it to be even able to look at its abilities and stats.
#5 Consumables - they are also available for picking up to use as healing items or upgrades, however they have so called Durability attribute. After a certain period of time You just lose them if you dont use them, which is pretty damn ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because some of those items are really hard to find.
Sorry to say but at this stage don't bother getting this game for 20$ Either wait for some updates which bring alot more content or get it in sale. This feels like a Unity asset demo or something.
It's a real shame because the game could be sooooo sooo goood!! :(
