Unfinished, abandoned game. Idea looked good, so I especially regret gifting it to two friends as an early adopter.
10 Miles to Safety has a solid idea underneath it where you roam around the world - with friends - to collect guns and try to traverse 10 Miles away from everything trying to murder you. That is about it though.
The levels, guns and characters work well enough but after a few runs - with friends - it becomes very repetitive while not very challenging either. The big promise for me was the procedurally generated world part where the world should feel different each time; that did not happen at all. In fact, I barely noticed any differences since the map designs very heavily loop meaning that if you've been to an area once then you've basically been there before.
Everything else - from the guns to netcode to audio - is fine and holds together.
If it's on sale, you like Isometric shooters and are looking to spend a few days on then this is fine.
If you're looking for something special or novel then avoid.

This game gets way too buggy in the docks, you can spawn inside cars and have to kill yourself, hunters not being able to get you in certain generation, skipping passed missions if you reload, etc. pretty fun though, probably better with friends but I have yet to do so.

Infizierte, Zombis, Hölle auf den Straßen. Apokalypse. 10 Meilen zur rettenden Basis. Looten und Shooten. Das Level vom Gegner und der Level von findbarer Ausrüstung steigt bei Lauf der 10 Meilen. Soweit ich überblicke läuft kein übergeordneter zeitlicher Countdown bezüglich der 10 Meilen und man hat die Zeit, die man sich nimmt, zum finden besserer Ausrüstung. Die Ausrüstung muss zu dem Level des Gegners passen bevor man weiter Richtung rettender Basis läuft. Das ist sehr grundlegende zu wissende Level Mechanik. Mit zu schwachem eigenen Level in zu hohe Gegnerlevel zu laufen ist weniger unterhaltsam, es geht, ist aber krampf, eigentlich ist der Charakter dann ruiniert.
Ansonsten gibt es eine Tag und eine kurze Nachtphase. Nachts wird man auf einen Kreis beschränkt und muss sich Werwölfen erwehren. Vorher kann man sich verbarrikadieren.
Es ist ein unterhaltsamer Lootshooter. Im Grunde nicht zu kompliziert, wenn man kapiert hat, was man da macht. Etwas crafting, nützliches herstellen, gibt es auch. Koop geht und sieht sinnvoll aus, sofern teamfähig.
Bemerkenswert kaum Bugs. Das Spiel scheint ausgebügelt zu sein.

🔷 ABOUT THE GAME & LORE 🔷
The end is here, boyz and the only salvation is 10 miles away. Are you up for it? “10 Miles to Safety” is a top-down zombie survival game where the goal is simple: run, fight, and scavenge until you make it 10 miles to the safe zone. Sounds alright on paper, but in practice it feels more like a phone game that accidentally wandered onto PC.
The story is as barebones as it gets (Story my a**). You’re here to survive the zombie apocalypse, but really it’s just a loop of killing, looting, and running until you either win or rage-quit. There’s no depth, no real hook, just repetitive survival stretched out way too long.
🔷 THE GAMEPLAY 🔷
👉 GENERAL:
It works, but it’s mid af. The mechanics are fine, the perspective is fresh, and it can be fun as a short time killer. But after a couple of hours, it’s clear this thing doesn’t belong on PC. It’s repetitive, shallow, and again, this should’ve been a mobile phone game.
• The item pool is laughably small. You’ll see the same weapons over and over, and the lack of variety kills any long-term interest.
• The game is glitchy as hell. You’ll constantly get stuck on objects or the environment, and it feels like you’re fighting the game as much as the zombies.
• Achievements are bloated the f**k out. There are way too many for what this game offers, and if you’re a completionist, you’ll hate yourself grinding them out, I sure did. Who’s responsible for this?!
• Difficulty doesn’t feel balanced. Sometimes it’s a cakewalk, other times it spikes for no reason. It doesn’t make sense and just adds to the frustration.
• This game gives Altzheimers. I kept on forgetting what I did the previous day, you can tell how much fun I had grinding those achievements.
• This is a f****g mobile game bro.
👉 NAVIGATION SYSTEM
Navigation is straightforward. You follow the distance counter, move from point to point, duck into buildings, and push the route when it is safe. The layout is readable enough, but movement through clutter is messy and the maps do not do much to keep exploration interesting. You move with the WASD, shooty with the mousey and that’s about it.
👉 PHYSICS & MECHANICS
I have to describe about 10 physics & mechanics in total while still being mad about glitching into stuff, getting stuck or barricades/turrets being ♥♥♥♥. I don’t know guys, I think Physics is a science and we should be grateful to Mechanics for keeping our cars working. But jokes aside, it runs fine for what it is except for the getting stuck a lot parts.
👉 GRAPHICS & OPTIMIZATION
Mobile Graphics. Guess what I’m thinking. You got it! This should’ve been a mobile game.
👉 ACHIEVEMENTS & COLLECTIBLES
This is where I drew the line. Why the f**k would you put more work in the achievements than into the actual game? The achievements will have you in chains, strapped onto a wooden pole in the middle of the sea with peanut butter smeared all over so the gulls can pick at you until you drop dead. Way too many requirements than what the game offers. A mobile game with achievements, I done seen it all.

머나먼 안전지대를 향해 나아가는 게임입니다.
세상은 대규모 좀비 사태로 인하여 위험한 상황이 되었으며 안전한 지역을 찾아서 나아가야 하죠.
주변의 건물들을 수색하여 재료나 아이템들을 획득할 수 있고 좀비들을 처치하면서 소규모의 물품들을 구할 수도 있습니다.
좀비 사태가 발생한지 얼마 지나지 않았는지 바깥 세상은 혼란에 휩쌓여있습니다.
혼란에 빠진 사람들이 여기저기 돌아다니는 모습도 볼 수 있고, 경찰들이 좀비에 맛서 싸우는 모습을 볼 수도 있죠.
이에 따라, 환자들을 치료하는 의료인이나 생존자를 보호하는 경찰들, 도움을 청하는 이들을 돕는 다양한 미션들이 제시되기도 합니다.
이들을 돕는 동안에는 월드 시간이 흐르지 않으며, 제한된 시간동안 그들을 도우면 고등급의 장비나 무기를 얻을 수 있고, 동료로 받아들여 같이 안전지대를 향할 수도 있죠.
기본적으로 근거리 무기와 2자루의 총기를 보유할 수 있으며, 보유한 재료를 소모한 제작이 가능합니다.
우클릭으로는 근거리 무기를 사용할 수 있으며, 좌클릭으로는 총기를 사용할 수 있는대 총알이 없는 경우에는 사용할 수가 없죠.
재료는 나무나 철, 유리병 등이 존재하며 이를 소모하여 체력 회복용 붕대나 투척용 무기를 제작할 수 있습니다.
또한, 집 안 내부에서 문이나 창문에 나무를 대거나 바리게이트를 설치하여 좀비들의 접근을 막을 수도 있죠.
낮에는 안전 지대를 향하여 나아가면서 느릿느릿한 좀비들을 처치합니다.
시간이 흐름에 따라서 저녁이 오고 밤이 되는대, 밤에는 속도가 빠른 좀비 헌터들이 달려들기에 건물 내부에서 바리게이트를 건설해 이들의 접근을 막는것이 좋죠.
밤이 지나 새벽 여명이 밝아오면 다시 안전지대를 향한 여정을 이어나가게 됩니다.
도시를 지나 숲을 탐험하고 다시 도시를 지나서 항구로 향하게 되죠.
중간중간 다음 지역으로 넘어가기 위한 스토리 미션들도 진행되어야하며 이를 완수하지 못하면 다시 동일한 미션을 반복 수행하여야 합니다.
그냥 걸어가면 되는건가 했는대 은근 귀찮은....

İki kişi oynadık, zorluk seviyesi normal, hatta ağırdan alırsanız yapacağınız lootlarla daha da basitleşiyor. Kafa dağıtmalık keyifli bir oyun ama bi perk sistemi olsa, level atlatıp 2-3 beceri arasından seçim yaptırsa vs çok daha güzel olurdu. Orada potansiyel harcanmış, onun dışında iyi.

The only reason i played this crap is because my Friend wasted the money on it for our group to play it. Buggy and unfinished despite being a "complete" game Dev's lied that they aren't "Abandoning it" but that post was five years old. I hope they have more respect for their own projects going forward. -1 out of 10 wouldn't recommend
honestly a super fun game. been abandoned for a number of years now. id say the content thats there is kinda worth it? theres a decent veriety of survivors, and theres a new game plus system thats neat. its just a shame it got dropped almost immediately after 1.0 release
This game is very buggy from little things to bugs that soft-lock your runs. Like spawning above water that instantly kills you, doesn`t help that after the devs said the game wasn`t going to be abandoned they stopped updating the game and started on the next project. The game is also not balanced. I liked the game when it first came out and I held hope for another update for a year before realising it wasn`t getting one.

Simple enough game best enjoyed with friends. It can be a little repetative and there are some glitches that don't seem to have been addressed, but the fun factor and style of the game more than makes up for it. Great little game, worth a punt with friends.

In few words I recommend it, its a fun small game although a bit repetitive. You run during the day, hide during the night.
One thing that I couldnt adjust to, is I see the way towards Safety, I go towards it. I wont stop to check the houses for better gear every time I pass a new infection zone. So pretty soon my gear becomes underpowered and im in deep trouble in nighttime or events.

For the majority of people, this will be a cute and quick little way to spend about 10-30 hours of enjoyable time either by yourself or with your friends. If you think that's worth the $10 price tag (routinely going on sale for $5), then I'll agree with you
But for a select few of you, this game is kind of a goldmine. It's thoroughly bugged to hell and back, and my curiosities with it can only really be described as "morbid". Yes, there certainly are some bad glitches (looking at you, achievements), but there are a lot of fun ones too. Skip story missions, duplicate items, travel at breakneck speeds, clip out of bounds... Any amateur glitch hunter like myself is set up for a great time breaking and experimenting around with this one, gaining a shocking amount of return for very little investment -- and the speedrunning potential from it all has inspired me to push these limits as far as I can take them. For people like me, this game is more than worth it

A really great idea for an "unending" rogue like/extraction type zombie game. I put unending in quotes because you will get 2 full playthroughs before it's over. You can tell the devs wanted to do a lot more with it but they stopped for some reason. Which is sad because it's a great concept.
Really fun and thoughtful mechanics in this. More so than I originally thought.
- zombies get harder to kill the further you travel in. Making you make a choice between looting to find better gear or trying to get to safety faster. You will not make it far if you don't search for better stuff.
- random events happen along the way that help you out if you successfully do them. For example, saving someone trapped under a car from being eaten by zombies and the guy will follow and help you out for awhile.
- variety of different weapons to use. The mechanics change for them as you get farther. Some zombies spawn with armor that only explosives or heavy weapons can penetrate. Weapons have stats and attachments. Knock back power actually knocks zombies back or stuns them.
- decently animated game for what it is. Nothing feels or looks bad and all the animations actually work well together given the amount you end up swapping guns and throwing stuff.
- the procedure generation is actually pretty damn good. You can tell areas and buildings repeat but they give nearly everything different angles so it doesn't feel like it does. Like I said pretty good for what it is.
- my only real complaint is you always go <<<left<<< on every playthrough even though in the beginning tutorial it says it can vary. The music repeats all the way through. It's not bad music but some variety would be nice.
I haven't seen many crazy game breaking bugs. I got stuck in a tree once but that's really it.
-wish I could constantly keep playing this like you would an actual rogue-like. Just never ending getting more difficult and harder as you go. Getting more powerful each time. I think that's the direction they wanted the game to go and that's kinda what it feels like it should be, but after playthrough #2 that's it. Can't continue the same game again with the same character. Have to start all over.
I doubt they'll continue developing since theast update was 2 years ago but it would be cool to see.

I wish I could say something nice about game, well its a zombie game but thats about it.
As game's title says its 10 miles to safety - literary, as player starts game, his/her only option is to run left, occasionally will run into events from some by the way is not possible to get out, so the player is forced to do them. Really dumb, and events are only few and gets boring really fast.
The game is clunky and unforgiving. Zombies hit player from 5 feet away even though they are not next to player not only that but also if they are bellow the player the still can reach and hit but the player being above zombie can't shoot it. Does that make any sense? Not really.
How the game is unforgiving? Well, game's progress gets saved after 1 in game day so just in case you got some new loot for example weapon, and if player dies during the night time it all gets reset back to the previous morning without acquired loot that you got. Basically 1 mile is 1 entire day.
So, in my case, I got to Docks and before the night I got new weapon tier from regular shotgun to combat shotgun but unfortunately in docks there is not way to get to safety and my character got killed well because of these 5 feet away attacks from zombies, oh and player can build barricades, but barricades are useless because for some reason it is impossible to shoot over them, so what is the point of barricades?

Very nice game. Quite challenging and definitely worth the current sale price. Sometimes you have to run around to find missions again to reactivate them.

Unfinished game
I don't recommend it. Bugs are there: you can restart some missions several times cos' of bugs, and as people mentioned before -- you can stuck, sometimes you can't fortified yourself properly cos of gaps, etc.
But the worst part is that there is no good progress with firepower -- at some point you find yourself in a city where overpowered zombies don't care about your assault rifle, they one shot all structures, and then you.
In the beginning it looks fun and interesting, in the middle it becomes a bit too difficult, but enough to stay fun, closer to the end you need to be a hard-core maniac of the game to make it through, but no fun at all at this point.
So, not an option for casual play with friends.

Don't buy this. I noticed a lot of the difficulty ramp is just bugs.
Such as
5x tanks spawning in the same grid. I only notice it because of the multi-barrel sway in my direction and a HUGE swath of AoE damage telegraphs covering anywhere i could move.
Such ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is such a rookie mistake even for a indie development team fresh out of their diapers. No excuses, simple obvious bugs should be aa day 1 fix for ayone worth their salt.

10 Miles To Safety is an isometric zombie survival/crafting game that has everything you would expect but takes zero risks and fails to innovate on the genre in any meaningful way. It's a decent title with some interesting idea such as the procedurally generated world, day/night cycle that pushes the player to hunt for resources during the day and build defences to survive the deadly nights. Throw in some light crafting elements and a loot progression system, 4-player online co-op and a survival mode, and then the only thing missing from this genre is an RPG levelling system with a skill tree.
The biggest issue here is the devs apparent reluctance to fully commit to any one idea, instead, half-baking all of them with just enough depth that you'll enjoy the first hour or so and then realise the only thing the game has left is reskins of content you've already seen.
It's never bad enough to make you walk away, but it's not good enough to make you actually want to invite your friends to play through the game.
Can't recommend it. Played it again years later and, well it's still the same as it was. You can build barricades but they're pointless. The building system is in a grid. Everything else isn't. Unless you build all the way around yourself, there are most likely gaps that zombies will just walk through, or worse, phase right through. Could be an awesome game, and I hope someone comes out with a more polished version of this cause this one's development is dead.

Great zombie game with friends in the co-op mode. Took us a bit longer to run the 10 miles than we would've IRL, but overall the map had lots of side stuff todo to get upgraded gear, AI on our team, and there were lots of zombies and other AI with guns to loot and spice things up
The survival mode/campaign has a story that isn't too in-depth, but enough there that once you do run the 10 miles there will be an ending that finishes the game. And then there is more todo after that which is unlocked once you beat the survival mode
I run into the pine and got stuck within the textures. No way out. Restarted the game, ran near the pine and stuck again. Within 5 minutes of gameplay. So when you are into pineforest better run to zombies, because pines are more dangerous.

Dont invest a dime here. It would be a ok game. But developers/support dont respond to questions asked. Just a cashgrab for a unfinished buggy game. We need to stop supporting businesses like this

Juego mas maravilloso que pude jugar en mi vida y encima lo compre a 100 pesos, una lastima que ahora el precio sea tan elevado para tan majestuosidad si tan solo mis amigos se lo compraban podriamos haber creado una party de 4 pero me conformo con ser 2 GOTY
Muy buen juego para pasar el rato. Lo recomiendo, aun tiene algunos bugs en la conexion pero va excelente la mayoria del tiempo.

It's not a innovative game and after 2 miles or so you see the procedural content blatantly in your face.
You could get maybe 2 hours of fun in my honest opinion, but there are tons of other games similarly priced and offer double, thrice or quadruple more enjoyable playtime.
Civilians run around amok with no brain, police is just running and not attacking at all, if you try to help civilians they just act like you were John Cena and there are few events where you have to defend something optionally, only to be one in ten times where it might join you on your quest for 52800 feet (god I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate imperial system). And the best part? If you're going too fast, like I dunno, trying to hide from the night where Zombies get more dangerous - that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ might just disappear as if some kind of lost puppy, never to be seen again. And then there's the issue of enemy pathing, especially at night when you try to hole up in a building... first and foremost, who the ♥♥♥♥ thought about making Werewolves appear at night? What's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ connection between Zombies and Werewolves? WTF? Anyway.. they sometimes go through openings that should not be possible, which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying, especially at later stages when there's more open space and no building (like in the forest or at the harbour.
I think if someone takes that much of a shortcut to shorten work, then there's not a lot here to reward with your free time and money.

Yani bu oyunu tavsiye etmeli miyim emin değilim ama tarzını beğendim ve oynayacak kişinin eğer arkadaşları ile oynaması gibi bi durum olacaksa güzel diyebilirim. Hikayesi çok basitçe, başlayan zombi salgınından güvenli bölgeye kaçmak olan bu oyunda gündüzleri ilerliyor geceleri bulduğunuz ilk yeri güvenli hale getirip hayatta kalmaya çalışıyorsunuz. İnşa mekaniği gayet yeterli ekstra kafa yormadan hızlıca öğreniyorsunuz. Oyun içerisindeki sınıflar sayesinde her seferinde deneyiminiz farklı olabiliyor ancak zorluk seviyesini değiştiremiyorsunuz. Biz iki kişi oynadık ve bir noktaya kadar çok eğlendik ancak oyunu bitiremedik ve bir yerden sonra aşırı artan zorluk seviyesi bizi bunalttığı için bıraktık. 3 veya daha fazla kişi ile bitirmek ve keyif almak daha mümkün görünüyor :)
each level has a setting with the terrain (matching setting) copy and pasted and with lack of solid hit boxes....i must not recommend this
I did not care for this game. There's a lot of bugs that I ran into. These are known issues based on the discussion. No recent updates (3 years+). Dead game. Not being maintained. Would not recommend.

Pero al fin me doy cuenta de lo que quiso decir en realidad: ´No cualquiera puede convertirse en un gran artista, pero un gran artista puede provenir de cualquier lado´. Nice and simple top-down shooter that can be played solo or up to 4 players concurrently.
You have got quite a few weapons to choose from that will fit your play style, unfortunately enemy variety stops at 3 types. There are different areas you visit as you go, giving you a visual representation of actual progress.
Gun play is quite satisfying and each weapon has both its strengths & weaknesses and not all of them are made equal. On top of your main goal - running 10 miles to safety - you have different side missions that are usually rewarded with better gear, granted you finish them with positive outcome.
Difficulty is quite tame for solo player, however as you reach <2 Miles, ammo scarcity and enemies (especially soldiers & tanks) keep you at distance, so defeating them without ammo can be tricky at times.

- [b][i]easy and rewarding progress[/i][/b], you can actually feel when you are getting closer to “Safety” as your weapons get more powerful,
- [b][i]tiered areas[/i][/b] make you constantly look for new gear, you can’t just grab a single weapon and go through entire game,
- point above [b][i]actually makes use of all containers[/i][/b] you can find, meaning you have a constant urge to search through houses, shops and all the other buildings due to FOMO on good gear,
- seems that it [b][i]could be quite fun with friends[/i][/b] – there are nearly 0 servers available to join, so you literally can only play it solo or with someone you know,
- even though you get decent weaponry, when night comes around, you feel you have messed up if you haven’t found yourself a safe place – [b][i]gives you an additional vibe of actual “survival”[/i][/b], even when you can hold on your own out in the open,
- [b][i]short campaign[/i][/b], you can finish it in about 4hrs – it makes it a perfect title for when you just want a different game for one night – of course you can make it longer, working towards completing more of 112 available achievements or finishing multiple side quests,
- [b][i]7 characters[/i][/b] to choose from, each one specialises in different areas, combine it with different types of weapons and you can tailor gameplay to your style,
- [b][i]completing Biolab missions will give you insight[/i][/b] into how the outbreak has started, meaning you can immerse yourself into the limited lore.
[h1]Cons of 10 Miles to Safety:[/h1]
- [b][i]jumping through objects[/i][/b] can be PITA at times, especially times when you need it the most, e.g. you want to jump through a barricade you built while having 5 hunters on your back, good luck partner!,
- [b][i]aiming is glitchy[/i][/b] sometimes – normally it isn’t the problem, but it becomes one when you are low on ammo and can’t hit enemies that are chewing through your defensive objects,
- [b][i]Sentry Guns[/i][/b] – they sometimes work, they sometimes don’t,
- even though [b][i]weapons are getting waaay more powerful, you don’t feel it[/i][/b] as much as enemies get tougher before you get your new pew-pew, meaning you will feel you are back at the same pace more than “now I can mow through them”,
- [b][i]endgame area (<2 MTS) gets ridiculous[/i][/b] at times, multiple soldiers, tanks and heavy troopers will effectively chew through your medicine, while lack of ammo will make you avoid most of these encounters,
- [b][i]last mission left me[/i][/b] in the heat of action [b][i]with low ammo[/i][/b], once I survived the supposedly last task, game presented [b][i]“Survive the night”[/i][/b] with nearly [b][i]zero ammo[/i][/b] on me and nothing to find nearby – now you have a timer to build your defensive perimeter – so it is either ammo or safety, thankfully Sentry Guns decided to work as intended at this stage,
- [b][i]performance is quite bad at times[/i][/b], even though you can run Cyberclunk at high> settings.

All in all the game has its fair share of small issues – nothing game breaking – but it feels good to play. It is not a title that you want to keep coming back for more, as once you finish the game (¬4hrs) you have Survival Mode or just repeat the campaign again.
It could be an interesting coop title, but forget about online servers, there are nearly 0 of them you can join. I would recommend it for people that, well – are waiting for their main title to come back up online or just want something quick to complete.

Lo termine en 5 horas y media, muy buen juego, prácticamente te obliga a jugar en copo por su dificultad, pero esta muy bueno y su precio es muy bajo
