Всем фанатам первых X-COM играть обязательно))
Долго ждал игру, немного не то ожидал, но в целом зацепило вайбами старой х-сом,
ну а теперь по порядку
1) мне нравится механика воздушных и тактических боев в этой игре
2) ветки исследования наконец-то разделены на исследования для ученых(теория) и для инженеров(практич применение)
3) есть чувство сложности как в старой х-ком, конечно не такое хардкорное, но с этим тут все нормально
4) Противники со временем становятся сложнее чем в первой части ксенонавтов, это доставляет интерес играть дальше

что не понравилось:
1) непонятная механика очков операций, я думаю она тут лишняя, ну она может делает игру более живей, но больше похоже на какой-то недоделанный компромисс для уровней сложностей
2) из-за очков операций я просто не могу нафармить нужных материалов, чтобы высадиться на НЛО нужно решать проблемы с властями на территории где упал НЛО, на это тратятся очки операций, вообщем неудобно, только затягивает игру

If you liked the first xeonauts, or old school XCOM, this game is straight up addictive. Very challenging, and save scumming feels expected to some degree unless you're REALLY willing to put in the time and effort, but I had a blast with it and it very much scratched the xcom itch.
This game is amazing. If you are a fan of strategy games or new to them I would absolutely recommend you try it. I've been playing since 2023 and have loved every minute of it.
I just hate it. It's counter intuitive nothing makes sense, very arbitrary system design. Clunky. Just really sucks.
This game is exactly whould you would expect it to be. Had same fun as with Xenonauts 1. Difficulty complaints are not necesarry. As someone who, as kid lived throught Xcom 2 - Terror from the Deep pain, Im accustomed to my operatives one shot dying :D
Even though still Early access, feels like full game. Didn't encounter single bug, campain is complete, everything feels absolutely ok and finished.
You can custom set your difficulty anyway you want, you can save scum.. you can play hardcore mode, you can play kindergarden sunny tale easy mode.. it's just only up to you.
What developers did pretty good is gear diversity usage. It works, your team is much stronger if you use wider variety of equipment and roles. That's sweet toping.
Big plus - One of the few modern games, that can run smoothly on RTX 5090 :DDDDDDDDDD
Soy un jugador experimentado de UFO: Enemy Unknown (me lo he pasado varias veces) y Xenonauts lo tenía como un sueño de un nostálgico que miraba con recelo, pues me temía que sería una desilusión, hasta que di el paso de probarlo... y menuda alegría, encara el espíritu UFO: EU pero es que me atrevo a decir que lo mejora, muy bien traído los escenarios, los gráficos, la historia, !todo!
Si eres un jugador de UFO: EU hazme caso, juega a este y no te arrepentirás.
Yo me atrevo a decir que no lo volveré a jugar al UFO:EU me quedo con este, no lo olvidaré, estará en mi top 10 de juegos, pero Xenonauts 2 ha conservado su espíritu y lo ha adaptado a los nuevos tiempos.
Para mi este juego solo tiene un pero, que es para lo que es gráficamente, los tiempos de carga sorprende lo lentos que son, no es nada exagerado, pero sí que esperarías que fuera más rápido.

Atmospheric tactical combat game with interesting gameplay, nice successor to first part.
The only two things I can critisice for now are:
- Performance - loading times are really long, and game itself consume full 8 GB of RAM even on milimal settings. Hope developers could fix that in future updates.
- Lack of some content - for example first part had a roaster of 5 fighters, while new have only 3. It is somehow compensated by modules, upgrades and customization, but sometimes it still feels like game is lacking new content to discover.
1) As of March 2026, the game is still unplayable and crashes on every enemy turn in tactical combat. I am running it on an RTX 4090 and AMD 9800x3d with 64GB DDR5, so performance is not an issue here.
2) Apart from the crashing issue, the game lacks polish despite its "pre-final" status. I am certain that it will not see much improvement by the time of its 1.0 release in April.
3) After nearly 10 years in development, this game is a major disappointment for me as a hardcore fan of the original X-Com UFO Defense and even the first Xenonauts, which had more depth and strategic freedom than its sequel. The only area where I saw improvement is the graphics, but it still looks dated and primitive.
TL;DR: - just stick with Xenonauts 1 and have fun with all the great mods available for it.
I like that the core mechanics are really well thought out with a lot of attention to detail. The base rules are consistent and simple, but the situations that arise from them are very deep and complex.
I also like that the player is given a very high level of control over every aspect of their soldiers and base. Like if you want to you can go into combat with no gun, no armor and 20 smoke grenades. Other games would give some lame limit on things like that. Also you can trade items freely between soldiers in the middle of combat which adds a ton of depth to combat (ie, have the strong guy carry extra equipment to drop for others, or have your riot shield guy pick up a rifle if his shield breaks).
Due to constantly escalating tech levels between player and enemy there is a lot of variety in how fights go, like sometime you have to fight dirty if you are outgunned and other times you have a massive advantage to press.
Also the game does a good job of pressing you to make hard choices like sometimes you may have to bring injured soldiers into combat if you are desperate, or sometimes you may have to try and abort a mission and run back to the extract throwing smoke grenades everywhere when a mission goes badly.
This is basically an Alex Jones world-view simulator.
Love it.

Fans of XCOM who want a deeper strategic layer will feel right at home with Xenonauts 2. The game clearly draws inspiration from the classic X-COM: UFO Defense, focusing heavily on base building, squad development, and research & development while responding to UFO activity across the globe.
Compared to the more streamlined modern reboot XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Xenonauts 2 leans harder into planning and long-term strategy. Base placement, aircraft interception, soldier equipment, and research priorities all have meaningful consequences, making it feel less like a cinematic tactics game and more like managing a global defence program.
The game is best described as a spiritual successor—not officially part of the X-COM franchise, but intentionally recreating the depth and style fans loved. A similar example would be Stardew Valley, which captured the spirit of Harvest Moon without being part of the original series.
Combat is where Xenonauts 2 really appeals to strategy purists. Missions use a time unit system, meaning every action—moving, firing, turning your soldier, or even kneeling for better accuracy—costs resources. Unlike the more automated actions in XCOM 2, players are far more hands-on with positioning and action management. This adds an extra layer of tactical control, rewarding careful planning but also making mistakes painfully obvious when your soldier runs out of time units in the middle of an alien ambush.
If you enjoyed XCOM but ever thought “I wish this had more strategy and a bit more chaos,” Xenonauts 2 delivers exactly that.

later in the game you get spamed with ufo encounter messages, and no matter how high my hit chance (97%) i seem to alwase miss , and the game sometime just gives enemies free hits, enemies shoot me when they get me in there sight but when they walk past or twords my soldiers, my soldiers dont shoot until it hits or stright up kill them, this is a problem that needs to be fixed, i can't recommend this game until they fix certin bugs and improve certin systems
Played it during milestone 3 and thought it had potential. Now playing milestone 6 and it's a much more polished experience. I really like the dark mood with great music and good classic xcom gameplay.

I like a lot of what this game does with the details. How you take down UFOs, the lore for the aliens, the cleaners. But it feels like this game just wants you to struggle and lose. From aliens popping out of nowhere and oneshotting your guys, to your guys being killed by friendly fire because the solder next to them decided to shoot 90 degrees to his right and dome his bud instead of the alien. Its like the devs want you to have a lot of casualties but you don't have enough men to or funds to have those kind of loses. So many of my men have died from reasons I could do nothing about. I want to like this game but I feel like the devs don't want me to.
As we get closer to 1.0 Release and out of Early Access, this is getting better and better. A great blend of *ahem* those other games, but still unique enough to have its' own unique spin and character. It's everything I want in the successor to the classic: Gruelling, tough choices and merciless RNG.
Bring it on!

Wonderful! Amazing game! I was looking for something like X-Com: Apocalypse about 20 long long years, and finally i found it.
The aliens were not made in God's image.
The game is amazing, but why its still not in full release, it got whole campaign and content, well maybe more research and global goddies from research would be nice, but in overall its complete, definitely recommend it on sale.

If you're looking for a micro-managed version of Xcom give it a shot, but I'm not a fan of having to manually engage every aspect; Facing, standing/kneeling, using cover or not. This is not a game friendly to someone expecting a simple Xcom experience. Personally, I feel the micro management takes away from the realism and human preservation that units would have.
Watch some vids on the actual gameplay, and if it appeals to you, then by all means, enjoy and go ham. I'm glad this game is here for you, but it's not for me.

Really great game in the Ufo Enemy unknown style, a lot of new dynamics, make decisions important and meaningful. Really enjoy playing it.
I have been playing for a while. Not really following the dev process, forums or whatnot. A fan, not a fanboy.
Anyway in some reacent patch they starting giving out penalties (up to -100 operation) points for finishing crash sites! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot ?
The game loop of doing crash sites, is what I do enjoy... Devs, it wasn't broken, why "fix" it.

以前玩过1代。不得不说，乍一看像拙劣的模仿XCOM，连剧情都差不多，但实际玩起来还是挺有意思的，战略和战术上都可圈可点。
周目一试了试新兵铁人模式，全员带盾，武器用警棍或匕首，烟雾弹闪光弹一丢就冲，跟小流氓打群架似得，通乐观，一共也没死几个人，撇撇嘴，就这？没啥难度嘛，咱好歹也是战棋回合爱好者，XCOM最高难度铁人都通关了，哼。
自信心爆棚的点开周目二，老兵难度。
哭了。
再开。
又哭了。
出去的时候是8个人，回来的时候剩俩，还都呲牙咧嘴的带着伤，气的把鼠标丢了，什么玩意，真一枪就秒我啊？我这是特工啊，怎么死的跟个平民一样？
慢慢的总结了一些经验，勉强能打下去了，越来越有意思。
1，选几个死了不那么心疼的做盾（6个），初期用近战，后期用手枪，再选2个精英做霰弹突击，遭遇后用盾先冲到霰弹有效射程内以防其他躲在阴暗角落里的偷袭，如果敌人可能会反击则闪光弹伺候（压制），无风险后霰弹上去秒人，盾挡住，丢烟雾弹,宗旨就是霰弹走到哪，盾走到那，前后左右围上，当然根据实际情况，很有可能是只挡住一面。
2，破门前站位，点结束回合前，前排盾不要蹲，后排霰弹向后看，下蹲，血的教训。如果后排是手枪盾，前排盾下蹲，后排手枪盾站立，向前看可。
3，初期救10个人的关卡，别分散，8个人走一路，救5个就不亏，精英死了太肉疼。大不了通过100个操作点数。打人类逆贼可以酌情分散，有外星人在绝对不要，小破枪biubiu的一枪一个真受不鸟。
4，除了某些特殊任务，大多数情况下手枪和霰弹不需要带弹夹。激光武器未研究自动供弹前，最少带一个弹夹。但总的来说，队伍里还是要有两个人多带一两个弹夹，以防万一。后期有些特殊任务，还是一人一个比较好。
5，飞机很重要，但没有护甲重要，武器最后升。
6，拦截失败或完全放任不管可能触发保卫基地，难度不高，我方人海战术。
7，注意清理战利品，仓库容量有限，谨慎出售，看看有没有需要的，比如可在工程处研究的尸体，
8，不是所有门都可以让你玩你看见我了，你又看不见我了的游戏。
9，UFO可以不必清图，冲进去清理残余船员即可胜利。
10，中期出现扫射性敌人，注意走位分散防压制
11，精英选择，时间点数优先，射击次之，其他不太重要，慢慢的都能锻炼上来，实在不行也有相应的模块。（力量，勇气，精度。）
12，敌人优先原地攻击命中率最高的（不含半身掩体），距离相同的情况下优先攻击最近的。这给了步兵狙击手等远程生存空间，但依然不建议使用，地图很大，敌人可能藏在任何角落，后排容易被偷袭，而且有些任务节奏快，需不停推进，步兵狙击手射击后容易掉队，跟上又要面对火力压力，不但没有提供帮助反而成为累赘
13，战略地图上操作点数方面，绿色的和红色的小点决定了操作点数的优惠和惩罚。
老兵铁人完结撒欢，阵亡两个，都是大脑疲惫状态下被偷袭，多数任务完全无伤。
If you like XCOM, you'd probably like this, it's very similar, however the soldiers are more expendable here. Even losing a few on a mission isn't the end of the world, but you'll definitely rage at that 95% hit chance that someone shoots your teammate in the back lol

Крайне не доработанный и корявый мусор, смахивающий на xcom (причем ближе ко 2 части), система урона не доведена до ума (противник имеет постоянный бонус к точности на любом расстоянии 30-40%) также система спавна уродливее некуда (противник спавнится у входа в начальный вертолет и здравствуй - оперативник), геймплей корявый и сырой ХОТЯ ЭТО 2 ЧАСТЬ И МОЖНО БЫЛО ПОДНЯТЬ УРОВЕНЬ ХОТЬ ЧУТЬ ЧУТЬ ВЫШЕ ДНА!

There are some wierd balance issues in this games. You best chance of succes is to go in like Team American and destroy everything that still stands.
Encore en early access, donc il reste des choses à peaufiner, mais c'est déjà un très bon jeu si vous aimez le genre UFO/XCOM.
Definitely scratches that Firaxis XCom itch. The isometric view was a bit weird at first, but the opportunity to choose all the various bits of loadout for each soldier was amazing.
Things I miss: the nicknames they get at higher levels, the lack of friendly fire for non-explosive weapons
Things I don't miss: not being able to control aircraft dogfighting alien ships
not being able to choose how many grenades I take
not being able to choose how many smoke grenades I take
not having an option to pummel aliens with a stun baton
my own units if there's any possibility of friendly fire
If you get this game, sort your soldiers by Time Units because they have the highest action point equivalents. Once you do that, the rest sort of takes care of itself by logical steps.

Es ist cool, "Enemy Unknown Feeling" ist wieder gegeben, so wie auch schon zu Teil 1. , allerdings ist es auch schon unter normal sehr, SEHR hart! Kann sein dass die Balance inzwischen angepasst worden ist, ich hatte es gleich zum Release durchgezockt.

About as demanding as the original XCom games. If you liked those, you'll feel at home here. The only thing I miss is the free movement until combat starts from XCom Apocalypse. But apart from that it's a pleasing battle of escalating technology and something I can dip into when I have some free time.

Начну с плохого!
1. Нельзя использовать трофейное оружие! Это была фишка X-COM! Тут же оружие пришельцев ну или какой-то АК с поля - тупо исчезает и вы не можете ими пользоваться. Это максимально разочаровало! Но это субъективно моё мнение! Может так тут задумано!
2 Игра плохо технически сделана! Вылеты...фризы... и это ж юнити и игра не такая тяжелая в граф.исполнении! А процик постоянно думает) Но тут надо сделать скидку на ранний доступ - может это пофиксят!
3 Вся сложность игры - это борьба с косоглазием вашей команды, доходит до абсурда просто, когда подряд 3-4 бойца в упор с очереди с вероятностью 50% не попадает НЕ ОДИН! По этому LOAD\SAVE это единственное что помогает!
И если в воздушных боях реально можно использовать навык свой, то в тактике максимально упоротый рандом!
4.Я много слышал про адаптивную сложность.... я так понимаю тут это когда суммарный ХП команды врага всегда х10 от твоей команды, ну и пушки тоже. То есть у врага всегда перевес (и это я на минимальной сложности играю). А если взять косоглазие команды то возвращаемся как всегда к LOAD\SAVE.
А теперь о приятном!
1. Воздушные бои - просто и со вкусом, но даёт маневры для вашего навыка и различный подход к "салочкам" с НЛО. Это высшее в этой игре что вышло на супер УРА!
2. Фазы игры и миссии - можно наконец-то не летать на каждое сбитое НЛО а впарить его местным румынам! Игра не скатывается в серую, сбил, добил а всё таки пытается менять антураж. Если бы не скучная тактика то супер!
На локация не просто гражданские (которые почему-то от моих солдат бегут в лапы ящуров) а еще и сопротивление! Была ситуация где дед где-то в Сибири с АК навёл шороху инопланетянам. Русы против ящеров в 21 веке)))) Но реально круто! Добавляет разнообразия.
3. Оружие аналог реально, ну МиГ-25 порадовал) Вот уж воистину наконец-то он нашёл себе применение. Модификация ускоренного оружия смотрится логично и стильно! Логика лазерного оружия даже продуманнее чем в X-COM, а мобильный робот на гусеницах вообще супер! Не большой и очень толковый, им можно танчить а после его уничтожения еще и восстановить!
4. Очень удачно перенесена стилистика X-COM на новый взгляд, ребята тут смогли внести своё и оно не просто не лишнее а вот то чего не хватало.
Вообще игру однозначно ДА рекомендую! Не взирая на странный рандом при стрельбе в режиме тактики, игра очень сочная! Молодцы разработчики! Респект и Спасибо!
UPD. К сожалению игра может багануть и вы либо не увидите последнее задание или не получите некоторые технологии! Первый раз у меня просто пропали НЛО))) Во второй раз я изучил ядерное оружие ДО гауса и в итоге оно не появилось)) В общем игру прошёл!
good game
Best "classic X-Com like" i have played in a long time. Very addictive, one more turn, one more event and suddenly it is 02 AM. Art style is serious and to my liking. Played most of the game on Steam Deck handheld with touch pads or connected to the TV with dock (1440P) with mouse and keyboard. Works well at home and on the go on the Steam Deck.
If you love xcom ufo defense, you will love xenonauts 2, it's pretty much remake of old xcom, on top of that modding is coming soon to the game!
