非常好玩，有创意，有深度的游戏。门槛很高，有好几个角色创意绝了，没点技术尝不到它的甜头
On top of this being pretty generic with a weird control scheme and too much dialog, I hit a bug in level two where I was simply free-falling forever, going straight through walls!

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

ПОЧЕМУ В ЭТУ ИГРУ ПОИГРАЛО ТАК МАЛО ИГРОКОВ???
Плюсы:
+ Приятная графика. А точнее говоря рисовка, сразу видно что всё рисовалось в ручную и это добавляет некого шарма. Враги выглядят оригинально а анимации довольно плавные.
+ Геймплей напоминает "Contra" но со своими определёнными фишками такими как карабкание по стенам с помощью рюкзака-... паука? Каждый герой обладает своим типом оружия и прыжка, абсолютно бесполезным или не юзабельных челов нету, у всех есть свои особенности как плюсы так и минусы.
+ Саундтрек хорош. На большинстве локаций играют энергичные мотивы рока, а на некоторых так вообще можно услышать сэмплы будто с невышадших треков Nirvana.
Минусы:
- Малое колличество уровней. На средней сложности игра проходится меньше чем за час (если понять большинство аспектов игры.
- Забаганый звук. Возможно эта проблема возникала только у меня, но при заходе в игру громкость будто резко прибавлялась и обрывалась (-уши инстантно), позже приходилось заходить в настройки чтобы отрегулировать его иначе приходилось играть абсолютно без звука.

Всем любителям необычных платформеров крайне советую, тем более что на распродажах ее можно урвать за сущие копейки (за нее я отдал что-то около 50 руб.).

Des gros aliens baveux et dégueux (et immense) à défourailler à base de tronçonneuse à plasma et d'allume-gaz à tête chercheuse, voilà le succulent menu que nous propose ce Weapon Of Choice. Les 7 persos (3 de base + 4 à déboquer en les sauvant in game), avec leurs armes et double-sauts respectifs, sont la grosse plus value et replay-value de ce run and gun aux embranchements multiples et délicieusement atomique.

Hermoso juego de la franquicia Mommy's best games, En 2D, mucha destruccion, bizarrismo y cosas locas como siempre.
Este es muy similar al serious sam Double D, Con 2 mecanicas que me encantaron, La de trepar por las paredes con el Set robotico y la de que cada muerte, otro personaje nuevo de una lista lo puedas usar y que tenga un arma diferente.
Me gusta que las balas sean infinitas, aumenta la destruccion (no se si el numero de personajes es limitado, ya que si vas muriendo cada vez vas teniendo menos de un pool de personajes hasta Que no te queda ninguno, esto no lo se) y si Al rescatarlos y llevarlos a un Checkpoint y Salvarlos podes reusarlos, Esto tampoco lo se por que aun no lo termine.
Pero realmente no tiene desperdicio, 10 Puntos como toda La saga!!

I tried playing this game. And I'm sure you notice the short play time. I cleared two paths before I decided to stop. Why? Because of a glitch. After completing the second path, the game simply got stuck on the final screen. I could not do anything to proceed, and when I finally abandoned the mission I saw that my progress didn't save. The game itself is interesting, with imaginative weapon and enemy designs, and I would have liked to have been introduced to a smooth experience. But the game also feels janky, with floaty movement and unclear visual indicators as to what should be hit on bosses and what things you can climb on vs what will kill you. Some of the weapons are hit-or-miss as well. The game itself IS short, but I don't mind that. It has a LOT of difficulties, and it's clear that you're supposed to run through them all for replay value. But I can't imagine that will be for everyone. As it stands, it seems like my time is better spent on something else.

The game offers some pleasant graphics and really vibrant colours, although some ugly glitches here and there, it is pleasant all the same
The game does suffer with some repetitiveness at certain areas of the game but a fun game nontheless
The game also suffers with some weird bugs and glitches which the developer seemed to have overlooked but they don't hinder the game at all
Weapon of Choice overall, however, is a fun game to play in short bursts!

I don’t write reviews usually, but this game is one of my favourites of all time (plus Serious Sam DD). I used to play them on the 360 before it got the red ing of death, was happy to replay them here on steam. The art is so unique (like heavy metal fan art, but in a good way). It just feels great to play, it is funny and original. The gun mechanics added to the ‘run n gun’ style is unique and interesting. I love just to relax and play these games. It is so refreshing to find a unique voice like this in games. This game was my introduction to indie games and is still one of my favourites. I’m a fan of Mommy’s Best Games, highly recommended.

Niveles cortos e historia ramificada dependiendo de la dirección a la que elijas ir en los niveles, la manera con la que el juego diversifica su gameplay es con varios personajes con habilidades de disparo y desplazamiento diferentes entre sí.
Lo más curioso es la mecánica de muerte, solo tienes una vida por personaje y caes de un golpe pero el juego te ayuda en manera de cuando un enemigo se acerque a darte un golpe de gracia se ralentiza el tiempo lo suficiente para que puedas reaccionar. Si llegases a caer tu personaje estara caido y se pondrá en pantalla otro personaje para continuar la misión, tienes hasta 3 personajes por nivel.
Lamentablemente el juego es muy corto, las ramificaciones no son muy variadas y se pierde la diversión en la rejugabilidad, pero deduzco que esto se compensa con el bajo precio.
Weapon of choice est une sorte de gryzor en plus court mais assez interressant : il n y a pas une bonne ou une mauvaise facon de finir ce jeu a tiroir ! si vous partez a gauche vous ferez un tableau different que si vous allez a droite , de meme si vous tombez ... bref un jeu d arcade a fins multiples possibles !
Les tableaux sont assez moches et il y a peu de monstres a affronter MAIS les boss sont superbes et ce sont eux qui font l interet de ce jeu !
La duree de vie du jeu est helas assez courte et seul l interet de decouvrir de nouveaux tableaux (et de nouveaux boss) vous ferons revenir dessus .
Les commandes repondent bien et l'instant death est une tres bonne trouvaille : en cas de peril , le jeu ralenti facon bullet time et vous pouvez tenter d echapper a cette mort horrible pendant cet instant de grace !

このデベロッパはこれが認められたか、似たSerious Sam Double D XXLの開発もしている。
360版は隠しを含む全てのエンディングも見ているが、PC版は動作確認と隠しがあるかを確認した程度。
サイドビューの全方位シューティングアクションで、死にそうになるとスローになる独特のシステムを採用。
まず出撃するキャラを選ぶのだが、それぞれ違う武器を持っており、死ぬと残りのキャラから選んで復活するため、使いやすいキャラを温存するかなどは考えどころ。
また、面の途中で倒れているキャラや既にやられたキャラを一人だけ救出する事ができ、そのまま面クリアすれば残機として増えるゲイングランド方式を採用している。
新規キャラは次回からは最初から選べるため、各面での新キャラ探しと救出がポイント。
武器はキャラ独自のものと、共通のものの2つを持ち、それぞれモディファイボタンで攻撃方法を変えたり、弾を変化させられる。
最初のステージで進む方向で次以降のステージが分岐するものの、１回のプレイでの面数は少なく、決してボリュームのあるゲームではない。
一通りプレイしてキャラを集めるのは数時間もあれば終わる。
また、灰汁の強いグラフィックセンスは好みも分かれるだろう。
個人的には好きなゲームなのだが、万人にはオススメしにくいのも事実。
それでも100円以下なら遊んでほしい。

Cool engine and lots of attention to detail, but I hated it.
Short, fun, fast and action packed with great music.
Not the best by MBG but for a low price it can offer a few hours of good quality fun. Especially if you try to complete all the achievements.
Half of me is wondering how high the art team had to get to design most of the creatures in this game. I am thankful for the awesome enemies to shoot and figure out, but I really worry about your long term health... I mean, you can smoke yourself insane ya know?
The other half of me is smiling with glee at a unique and just plain FUN game that doesn't take itself too seriously, can be blown through in an hour, and still have the "try one more time" factor to make me want to play again and again. Neat storyline, fun gameplay, lot of fun things to discover while playing the game too. GREAT JOB!!!

Quirky with 16-bit like gameplay. I really like the graphic style and recommend to anyone wanting to play a action platform game that is very similar to many of the old classics.
Gioco per chi ama il genere caotico-sparatutto.
All'inizio dovrete scegliere uno tra i diversi personaggi utilizzabili (munito ciascuno della propria arma) e intraprendere uno dei 3 percorsi offerti dal gioco, ognuno dotato di 2-3 boss.
Nulla di troppo impegnativo ma divertente. Pur essendoci 3 percorsi il gioco in sè è molto breve, se volete godervelo un po' di più completate gli obiettivi steam.
Il gioco lo trovai all'interno di un bundle pagato una miseria, quindi per il prezzo pagato merita sicuramente

I'm gonna keep my review short, sweet, and simple.
Weapon of Choice falls on the HIGH end of mediocre. I'd go as far as calling it 'good enough'.
The gameplay is kind of generic. Very simple.
The story is.... Kinda blah. Nothing special.
The art style is vibrant and very alien/mutant. Interesting monsters and bosses. Big plus there.
It's got interesting gameplay mechanics, like the 'rescue system' where you find an ally and carry them to safety. And, the spider-pack was kinda fun. No more obscure firing angles!
The near miss 'death brushing' system was definitely interesting. I don't recall anything else like it.
Unusual characters with vastly differening weapon and play styles. Kinda nice. Just needs MORE characters!
The game is short. Crazy short. Replayability and branching paths only go so far.
But my favorite feature of the game?
The BRUTAL FREAKING METAL SOUNDTRACK!!!!!!!
A lot of love went into the soundtrack and I was more than happy to slap down the 2 extra bucks to get it. It is good, classic, hard and fast metal. The way metal should be. Especially action-game music. Really driving and invigorating.
The music saved this game, by me.
7/10~ Will play again if more content/sequel comes out.

Chaotic, colorful, fun. Though so much of the combat is simply "run around, hold down stick to shoot" it's fun constantly switching between the different crazy weapons avaliable. The equally insane enemies are great eye candy.
I'm not hugely experienced in these types of games, and as such, the slo-mo mechanic when you're about to die is very appreciated, giving you a last moment chance to wriggle out of death's way.
For $5, I can't help but recommend this over-the-top ball of pure, psychotic entertainment.
Man now this my kind of game!! Love the metal sound track and the graphics are absolutely stunning!! Way better than what you see in the demo. Such attention to detail and huge cool bosses!!. See that means the devs really care about what type of product they are putting out and that means a lot to me. I just love little small details in the back ground. Trees swaying, enemies breathing all that. Controls great too with a Xbox controller.Kind of reminds me of the old school Contra for the SNES. Great selection of weapons and characters too. And what a steal at only $4.99!! I could say more but i'm about to dive deeper into this sweet little game!! Go buy this game and support these devs!! Haha :D
