When I first discovered Katamari back in the 2000s it was a revelation - a game so weird, funny and Japanese... it was almost too perfect for me.

We Love Katamari is my favourite of the PC ports, and it still makes me laugh every time I play.

I enjoyed the first game more mostly due to the music selection in We Love was not a strong as the first making the some fun levels also kind of boring without an external soundtrack.

The OST is so weak it hurts the game.

Ainda mais Katamary Damacy, não por ser um jogo redundante, mas por expandir o quanto de coisas você pode fazer enquanto rola por aí. Tem muito mais mapas e missões diferentes (inclusive por estrela), e o controle da Katamari está muito melhor agora que a mecânica de escalada foi melhor implementada. O jogo até parece mais bonito que o Reroll original por causa de melhorias na iluminação. A campanha secundária do Rei de Todo o Cosmos não é tudo isso, sendo só 6 versões um pouco mais desafiadoras de fases normais, mas os filminhos da história dele são legais e ajudam a destrinchar esse personagem tão querido da série. Vejo como obrigatório para qualquer um que gostou do Reroll original

Replayability is where it really shines. Levels encourage improvement, higher scores, and clever routing. The more you understand each map’s layout and object density, the more strategic your rolling becomes. It’s simple on the surface, but there’s real depth in chasing better times and bigger Katamaris.

Continuação direta de Katamari Damacy, o jogo mantém a mesma gameplay do primeiro jogo, que se baseia em controlar o Katamari para rolar sobre objetos do cenário, fazendo ele crescer até cumprir o objetivo da fase. A ideia é simples, porém foi muito inovadora quando saiu a primeira vez e continua divertida até hoje.

No começo os controles são meio estranhos, mas é só uma questão de tempo até se tornar mais natural. A trilha sonora é um ponto bem forte do jogo, com músicas que combinam perfeitamente com o caos da gameplay e que certamente vão ficar na sua cabeça depois de parar de jogar.

Eu nunca tinha ouvido falar dessa série antes, mas pesquisando descobri o quão clássica ela é, e também como foi uma grande inspiração pra diversos jogos que se baseiam em juntar objetos. É uma experiência simples que recomendo caso busquem algo bem diferente.

I wanted to purchase a nintendo switch version of Katamari Damacy. Fortunately I realized the Steam version is cheaper. I simply bought this copy because it was cheaper than the other one for sale here in steam.

I've clocked in 17 hours (during my spare hours), and I must say it's been such a joy to play this game!
I've always wanted to play this game ever since I saw it featured on TV when I was a child. I didn't have the capacity to purchase the game, and it took me several years to finally give this game a chance.

It's the perfect casual game for me. Gives me the right amount of dopamine hit I need. Just the right amount to get my mind engaged.

what I like about this game:
1. Controls are simple
2. Length of game is just right (I can stop anytime I want to).
3. Adds whimsical joy to my life right now.

what I didn't like
1. not so smooth movements if I roll
