整體來說是很好玩的只是如果真的想要在途中玩完所有流派就必須得練功
雖然說可以洗點但是又覺得重新點很麻煩
再者我是真的很不喜歡多周目的玩法雖然這遊戲沒有強調
但是光是成就就有幾項是需要至少二周目才能完成的
光這點就讓我扣了幾分因為實在是覺得沒必要吧... 道具都能一次拿到難道不行嗎? 選擇有啥意義
除此之外這款的遊戲配樂很高端會讓人沉浸在遊戲給人的莫名壓迫感
明明也不算恐怖遊戲但卻很好的利用音樂及美術呈現出非常好的壓抑感

画面设定里记得把光影给关掉，能减少很多摔死
武器设计各有特色，都玩了一遍，除了弓因为地形问题不适合过图清小怪，剑斧双刀都玩得很爽

附魔研究了很久，发现火附魔给剑附加伤害最高；斧头蓄力能增加雷附魔伤害；流血附魔能给怪削韧导致眩晕，适合给弓箭创造安全输出环境；双刀如果喜欢戳ASS就用流血附魔的另一个巨人词条追加百分比血量伤害，如果在困难难度打一闪适合用诅咒词条给敌人降攻提高生存率

快捷栏设置的很烂，奥术和投掷道具甚至升级石都在一起，而且不能用数字快捷键，只能一个个转轮选非常呆

奥术本身设计有点思路，但是数值太坑，伤害、范围、频率、耗魔完全不匹配，只有DLC新加的神秘商人卖的审判之光伤害猛一点，配上骷髅祭杖和寒冰公主套再加两个巫眼戒指吸魔，打了一轮通关感想就是导弹永动机，玩多容易腻
如果制作组还有更新的话，希望能改良一下各种奥术，法师流希望能多些趣味组合

Долгое время я хотел приобрести эту игру, поскольку оно сильно напоминала мне, полюбившиеся Salt and sanctuary и Salt and Sacrafice. И вот наконец пришло время. Нужно сказать, что я получил не то, что ожидал.

Vigil это не соулс игра, хотя и имеет ряд соулс признаков.
Основная причина по которой я не могу признать эту игру соулс-лайк это то, что здесь смерть это смерть, и ты можешь только загрузиться с точки сохранения.
Здесь нет "душ", прокачка происходит по средствам получения опыта и распределению очков навыков по древам навыков.
Здесь можно зайти в инвентарь в любой момент и переодеться, игра ставится на паузу.
Выносливость восстанавливается очень быстро.
Сложность игры настраивается и в целом нормальный уровень сложности в игре довольно прост для прохождения, главным образом потому что вы можете использовать луки и магию без ограничения. Сложности могут возникнуть разве что с опциональными боссами.

Однако есть и элементы которые делают игру похожей на соулсы.
Общая темная, мрачная атмосфера, подкрепленная сюжетом игры, записками и описанием некоторых предметов.
С большинства противников можно выбить какую-нибудь экипировку.
Локации достаточно обширны и разветвлены, имеются и опциональные локации и боссы.
Постепенное развитие историй некоторых персонажей, которых ещё нужно найти.

Так что в куда большей степени Vigil - это метроидвания.
Здесь и обширные локации, которые могут сравниться даже с Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
И получение способностей вроде двойного прыжка или воздушного рывка, для попадания в ранее недоступные места, изучения карты.
И наличие множества секреток.

Отдельно хочется отметить некоторые понравившиеся мне элементы.
Сюжет игры, который во первых интересен и во вторых имеет "зацепки" на протяжении всей игры. И ты можешь в конце игры найти истории о персонажах, которых встретил в самом начале.
Некоторые предметы имеют скрытые бонусы, о наличие которых можно догадаться только по описанию.
Есть 4 вида оружия и древа прокачки навыков для каждого, это: мечи, двуручники, кинжалы и луки.
Есть ещё пятое древо - выживание, для прокачки базовых способностей и магии.

В целом игра получилась очень увлекательная. Признаться, я был удивлен тому, что после убиения пары боссов и прохождения пары локаций я очутился совсем в другом месте и оказалось, что прошел только пролог. Ещё чуть позже я решил начать игры с начала, потому что узнал, что пропустил почти все квесты пролога. Эх, было интересно.

Amazing soulsvania game. Doesn't try to go for anything groundbreakingly new but is very solid on all the important parts.

Metroidvania components:
- Sidescrolling exploration with some platforming and map layout traditional for the genre;
- Need to unlock movement skills to access previously out of reach areas/extras;
- Story/plot-driven progress that feels similar to other metroidvanias.

Soulslike components:
- Dodge rolls with i-frames;
- Good challenge especially on bosses (would recommend playing it on hard mode);
- Enemies respawn after saving the game (there are save points and you can teleport between them).

Other points:
- There's no currency loss on death and saving does not refill health potions (just restores your health), so maybe some would consider this a soulslite instead;
- Great soundtrack (both music and ambiance-wise);
- Built-in PS controller button layout and overall solid options for input customization;
- There are points of no return!

Might be a great entry-point for players looking to get into the genre, or for veterans looking to scratch that itch with something recognizable and well done.

I found this to be a good soul-like game.

Atmosphere, exploration, music, and lore were all good.

The game doesn't have stat management like other souls-like games, so you will not be restricted from trying out different weapons and spells. Instead, you get a skill point per level up which you can invest into the skill trees. Each type of weapon (sword, heavy, daggers, bow) has their own skill trees and move sets, along with a survival skill tree so you can choose how to spec into your preferred playstyle. If there's one complaint with this system, then its that you have to find an NPC later in the game to get access to skill respec instead of having it already in the menus or as a purchasable item available from the start.
Likewise, because there's no stats to manage, all of the spells are cooldown based instead, so you can just place them into your hotbar and try them out.

The biggest complaints I had with the game was that the menu UI stays on screen for a few seconds after you exit it, meaning that you can move around (or be attacked by enemies) during this time and your attack and jump buttons will default to the menu until the UI disappears. Likewise, I wish there was a bestiary which would've been nice when I needed to farm materials.

Overall, I really liked this one.

I didn't like the movement, I didn't like the graphics, I didn't like the menu structure... nothing about this game was comfortable. It's like it's designed to be a painful UX/UI.
It's clunky, the combat animations are just... weird, the distances to target are off... for example you can clearly see a good half inch of onscreen daylight between your sword arc and the enemy and somehow it still hits them... this is also true of enemy attacks... just not good all around.

This is one of those rare instances where I refund almost instantly.

This game is blasphemous 2 if it was better, except i think blasphemous 2 is d0gsh1t so this game is still sh1t. Feels more like a 2d platformer than a metroidvania, the exploration is really unrewarding and the gameplay while decent in some parts felt really boring most of the times, the weapons movesets are really bland too. Other questionable choices are capping weapons in early mid game, this way only few weapons are worth committing to and why tf do you lose progress when you die? You still have a checkpoint every 2 minutes, it doesnt make the game harder but more tedious, just make owl statues less common and that way you make the game harder without having to redo some stuff if you die. Also the optional drops from bosses are insane ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, who tf wants to grind in a metroidvania???? Most bosses are straight up demon souls level of difficulty while some are insanely hard for no reason other than making you wanna rage, the dlc bosses especially are silksong level of hard while having absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hitboxes (and tells for red sparrow 4 small balls attack, you can attack that ♥♥♥♥♥ and she'll randomly use that attack without you realizing because you cannot see her.) The only thing this game is good at is the atmosphere, but other than that its a metroidvania that one can easily skip without worrying about anything.

Vigil : The Longest Night is a competent 2d side-scrolling soulslike that’s only held back by some frustrating design choices and unbalanced endgame.

The first thing that grabbed my attention when looking at screenshots and videos for this game was the artstyle. The backgrounds are beautiful and both the NPCs and monsters are well-designed too, giving off a dark fantasy medieval vibe we’ve seen before in games like the Witcher. I much preferred the more realistic style used here than the more cartoony one of Salt and Sanctuary. Animations, on the other hand, are not great, with jerky, over-the-top movements that range from weird to unintentionally comical and detract from the grimdark atmosphere Glass Heart Games are striving for.

The story is suitably gothic, with plenty of tragedy and grief sewn into its decade-spanning tale. As Leila, a member of a group known as the Vigilants, you are tasked with ending “The Longest Night”, a curse that had covered the land in a perpetual darkness ever since the death of a goddess known as “The Shimmer.” It sounds pretty trite, but the game does a good job of making you feel invested, notably by populating is various hubs with a host of well-developed NPCs which send you off on a variety of sidequests and impart plenty of additional lore.

In suitable Dark Souls fashion, once you’ve made it through the Prologue and First Act, the game really opens up, and while you are given some vague directions by the town doctor, you are free to explore wherever you like. Contrary to a true metroidvania, the different areas of the game aren’t gated off by having to obtain various traversal mechanics or abilities so, apart from a few exceptions, you can travel across the entire massive map from the get-go. This was great for me as I love exploring in souls games, and while admittedly I ended up going to one of the harder areas first, I enjoyed butting my head against some of the harder enemies before going elsewhere.

This also means you rarely get stuck in Vigil: The Longest Night. If a boss or enemy encounter proves to be too taxing, it’s easy to use one of the many respawn points to warp back to a crossroads and choose another path.

Levels come at you thick and fast, but instead of increasing different stats, you’ll be unlocking skills in a variety of skill trees : one for each weapon type and one for general healing and stamina-recovery abilities. I’m always a bit torn about this design choice as I prefer to have more granular control over character development, but once I’d settled on my choice of weapon I ended up more or less mindlessly unlocking all the skills in the axe and healing trees, which was enough to get me to the end of the game without too much trouble.

Weapons and armour can be upgraded, but also enchanted to add elemental or bleed damage. Upgrade materials are plentiful and the forging cost is next to nothing so there’s no reason not to do so, although I was rather disappointed to discover that you can only upgrade seven times, which meant that I had maxxed out my favourite equipment by the time I was half-way through the game.

Difficulty-wise, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. I found the first few hours fairly challenging, being forced to manage my potions carefully and attack enemies methodically. That changed when I began to unlock incredibly powerful abilities for my axe, including a jumping slam that creates an area-effect soundwave when you land, or a whirlwind-spin attack that, coupled with a life-leaching weapon, meant that I could spin into enemies and tank their attacks as I was being constantly healed.

The other thing I wasn’t a fan of was Vigil’s death penalty. Whenever you die in the game, you lose everything. All the items and souls you picked up. All the map you’ve uncovered. You have to do the entire thing again. In most dungeons Owl Statues (bonfires) are placed ten or twenty minutes apart, and some of the late game areas have insta-kill spike traps, so if you miss a jump – which can happen due to Vigil’s finicky controls - you instantly lose twenty minutes of progress. I’m sure most die-hard platform fans won’t be bothered by this, but I found it unnecessarily frustrating. At least let me keep something, even if its just the items I picked up of the parts of the map I unlocked. Now, to be fair, there is an item that lets you place a respawn point wherever you want, but is was pretty rare and I was always loathe to use it, especially when you have no idea how far you are from the next save point.

Janky animations and balancing issues aside, however, I really enjoyed my time with Vigil: The Last Night. The combat was fun, the bosses suitably large and disgusting, and the entire game was just dripping with gore and violence that wouldn’t be out of place in a Berserk anime. If you enjoy exploration and plenty of obscure lore in your souls games, then I would recommend picking this one up.

Generally good 2D Metroidvania with a few quirks.

Combat is decent. There are four weapon types (swords, axes/hammers, dual knives, bows) with their own skill trees and movesets, and each of my playthroughs focusing on one type felt different – swords encourage aggression, heavy weapons are about charging up attacks and timing when enemies get into range, dual weapons focus on mobility and getting behind enemies. Bows… are more situational, but have their uses. Weapons do different combinations of regular damage and “poise damage” (knocking a foe’s poise to 0 stuns them), but I rarely encountered enemies where trying to stun them was more efficient than just doing HP damage. Most regular enemies you can just rush, but there are ranged ones you’ll want to pay attention to to dodge their shots as you close in, and most areas have an elite type of enemy who is much more durable and, in my experience, more fun to fight, as you need to hit them several times and dodge a few attacks. Most of the styles require a few skill points into them to start working (since some of their basic combo moves are locked in the skill tree), but with some practice you can get the hang of them pretty easily, and there are plenty of weapon options for each style. The spells/magic items are pretty cool and varied. Spells function as items that you put in your gear wheel that cost fast-recharging mana and may have a cooldown timer, but don’t distract from weapon combat. Beyond ways to do damage, there are a variety of spell options including a shield, a scanner that marks items on the map and an eye you can throw off of cliffs to see if it’s a death pit down there or not. You’ll develop your own roster of combat and exploration items. Combined with various passive-effect magic rings and your endgame form can feel a lot more powerful than your starting position.

I have mixed feelings on the bosses. Design-wise, most of them are distinct, but only a handful feel like the logical extension of their environments, or in any way foreshadowed beyond “there’s probably a boss around here”. On the other hand, there are a good number with some sort of unique mechanic, like moving platforms or a wind threatening to shove you into a spike wall. I did like that, unlike some Soulslikes where you have very few healing items and mostly have to get wrecked until you can memorize the boss’s moves to dodge everything, Vigil gives you like 20 healing potions at once. Now, healing takes a few seconds and can get interrupted, so it’s not a guarantee, but this gave kind of a brawling vibe to the boss battles where I’d throw myself at them, do some damage, get punched across the room, heal up and then jump back in there, with the end result that most bosses outside of the final bonus ones only took one or two tries even on the first playthrough. Personally, I actually liked that better than the game demanding perfect dodges or you’ll have to restart. Also, this primarily applies to the “big monster” type bosses, which are most of them. The human-sized bosses (mostly sidequest bonuses) fight differently as they are much smaller, move a lot faster and are harder to see incoming attacks from, so the two of you kind of end up cartwheeling around the room like madwomen trying to hit each other, which has its own charm. The final bonus bosses do require a high degree of skill and practice to defeat.

Platforming is pretty good, though in my first playthrough I had an issue where the jump I needed to get an upgrade is so high that it requires an absolutely perfect double-jump, grab-the-ledge combo to get there, and after a few failed attempts I concluded that I needed to get another jumping upgrade somewhere to get it and left, spending much of the playthrough without the upgrade I was supposed to get. So be aware of that.

This game has one of the best New Game Plus features I’ve seen (though I’m baffled why NG+ doesn’t replay the opening cutscene, which might make more sense to the player on a second runthrough). You keep basically everything except the keys to doors – gear, stats, skill tree unlocks, spells and even movement abilities like air dash, which makes getting around a whole lot easier. You even keep what you’ve unlocked on the map, so you can move through areas much more efficiently instead of having to rediscover everything. You might want to consult a wiki to see what side content you missed or some of the ways you can affect different characters’ fates, as NG+ is not especially harder if you’ve got your top gear.

The game’s story is one of its biggest strengths and weaknesses. I liked it being built around a village full of NPCs that you can talk to and do sidequests for, and the opening arc especially has you functioning like a detective trying to solve a mystery, which is a different vibe for a Soulslike than “everything here’s a monster, kill them”. None of the NPCs are super deep or anything, but some of them are distinctive, and various actions of yours can, knowingly or not, affect their fates in the climax, which adds some stakes. I actually found the beginning and the end sections to be stronger than the middle part, which sort of lagged as I fought through even more monster-filled woods primarily because they were there and I didn’t want to miss anything. While the sidequests are good and there is a neat mechanic to unlock increasingly ridiculous bonus bosses, I felt somewhat compelled to divert from the main story to the side content specifically because some of the early-game side content gets locked off very quickly without warning unless you obsess on it instead of the starting mystery. I ended up spending most of my first playthrough doing literally everything BUT the stated main objective out of concern that I’d miss more things. The Notes feature to keep track of side objectives is very helpful, so that’s something.

The negative side of the story is that there’s a lot of important stuff that just never gets explained, most prominently a twist at the end of the first arc. Having scoured every bit of the game and the Internet, I THINK I understand what happened, but if I’m correct, then it doesn’t need to be a secret – a character could easily have spelled it out after it happened and nothing would be lost. The climax would also benefit from a few more lines of dialogue to explain what is going on, and a lot of characters use similar terms in overlapping ways that cause confusion. (For example, heathens like the Sacredwood while the Shimmer Church does not, but everyone still calls it the Sacredwood even though it’s not sacred to them; there’s a building called Maye Hall that has a massive statue of the primary god, helpfully named The Goddess, but Maye Hall ISN’T the Shimmer Church and doesn’t really like them.) The game would also seriously benefit from a bestiary to at least provide names and a little context for the enemies – why am I killing so many humans with pitchforks again? There’s also what I think is a really cool twist at the end that would have benefited from better setup. Nevertheless, the atmosphere, connecting with the townsfolk and uncovering partial answers to a few mysteries still made a decent story in a genre that isn’t that focused on such things, and I really enjoyed getting the secret best ending through my obsessive completionism.

Overall, I think if you like the genre, you’ll like this one. I recently did a “don’t talk to anyone, just go places and fight” playthrough that lasted 5-6 hours with endgame gear and knowing where everything is. A fresh playthrough with no knowledge of anything is probably 10-12 hours, with a lot more if you are trying to get all the sidequests and do at least one NG+. I recommend starting on Normal because the first boss is REAL tricky on Hard when you’ve got no skill tree unlocks, but you can switch the difficulty at any time after that.

Also, there is a LOT of blood/gore (though not on killing foes, oddly)

This is a good metroidvania game. Not perfect mind you, but still really really good. The maps are interesting and diverse and the map segments blend together in an interesting way. Backgrounds sometimes show you glimpses of other maps to make you get a feeling for is a place is infront or behind another maps, so to speak. Movement and combat feels smooth and responsive. My main gripe with the game is the very strange and somewhat fragmented and partly incomprhensible story.
Perhaps I am arriving at the wrong conclusion regarding the story. No other game in the last couple of years have made me contemplate its story in the way Vigil have. So perhaps that is a sign of true greatness if I ponder on the story so much even when I am not actively playing the game.

Be as it may with the story. The game has some other issues with that items and equipment you find usually have no connection to the place you find them in. Equipment usually isn't better than what you have. At the time of writing this review I have 99 hours logged and have finished the game three times. One of the weapons that I used to kill the last boss was among the first five weapons I found during my first playthrough.

Even though I have listed some things in the game that irritates me, this was still one of the more enjoyable games I have played in a good long while. If you like metroidvanias, you will probably like this one.

非常好的一款游戏，美术和内容见仁见智，一开始我以为会是暖暖擦边暗黑宗教类的小游戏，没想到一玩就玩进去了，剧情在线，引导的话看个人，有些会逐字分析对话，做任务的时候会轻松些，有些玩家不会在对话上太下功夫，所以玩起来会比较累，手感上需要时间适应，按键分配有点点矛盾，专精弓箭的话需要习惯下，总的来说瑕不掩瑜，如果有人让推荐我横向游戏的话，这款游戏会在里面

I like this game. It reminds me most of Salt and Sanctuary and Dark Souls made 2D.
That is perhaps my favorite game niche so I could recommend Vigil off that alone.

It's not perfect however, I took issue with late game writing (it went from the usual souls-like cryptic to pure absurdity) content recycling, combat being too floaty (issue that plagues almost all souls-likes, 2D and 3D) and a couple other tiny ones such as the save system. (You manually save the game, wtf)

It's like a poor man's Salt and Sanctuary.

It isn't the best metroidvania, and can be a bit janky at times. It isn't the first in the genre I'd recommend to somone new. But it is quite solid and does thet trick if you have already played Blasphemous, Hollow Knight, or other stand-outs in the genre.

一周目困难难度特地把两个结局都打通了,游戏很好玩,地图设计不错,但是地图里面很多宝箱喜欢塞点没用的,偶尔跳跳乐半天发现捡了个垃圾..
战斗上三种武器+奥术的战斗方式有区分,剑反的判断有点严格,但是人物性能本身比较强,我玩了一半流程的单手剑没怎么用过格挡反击,全靠闪避了,后期转双刀,感觉战斗体验爽快了不少.
奥术系统也还算有意思,不过手柄玩家玩奥术流RB键要按烂了...
剧情和游戏体验结合紧密,剧情是经典碎片化叙事,但是有主线,所以整体还是比较清楚的,就是有点容易断支线...
总之喜欢类银和这种黑暗风格的人,非常推荐试试

So I'm a few hours into the game and first impressions are generally good, the first hours were quite amazing, has a real souls like feeling, atmosphere is great and the game is really beautiful, also the combat is fun. After a few hours the map seems a bit dificult to navigate though, it also feels a little dificult to follow the main quest or also the side quests. I'm running around a lot and feel like I loose track of the quests because I'm stumbling into new areas. So the point is, it's not very linear but gives a lot of room to explore which can also be good actually. Anyway I think for me this is probably a 7/10, but let's see how the rest of the game goes :)

The game seems good but the lack of ultrawide support is seriously disappointing. The game isn't even playable due to a weird shadow overlay that happens which almost makes me sick/disoriented while playing it. I read there is a bit of a workaround for this using a hex editor, but then the map becomes useless. I really don't want to play a game that I can't play it the way it was meant to be played.

感觉制作组有想法，但限于实力不足，没能很好地呈现亮点，最终导致游戏整体表现平庸。

1. 游戏文本给我的感觉是没有斟酌或润色，有些重要对话既不口语也不书面，就像一个外国人在说生硬的中文一样。非剧情文本也是这样，典型表现之一就是角色死亡后的文本“你已经死亡了”——你写个简短的“死”，或者写个偏口语的“你死了”都行啊，这个“你已经死亡了”就感觉很怪。

2. 剧情方面，虽然类魂谜语人剧情也是惯例了，但这个游戏尤其严重。在涉及两个时间线的基础上，重要的背景事件给的提示不够多，武器装备的文本写得很短，主线剧情虽然很多npc都在说人话，但大部分都是围观群众，根本不涉及主线。剩下的跟主线有关的npc个个都是谜语人。我打完了也仍然感觉云里雾里。

3. 战斗系统方面，武器数量很多，但动作模组固定。角色升级很快，但单个武器的技能就十几个，辅助技能还占很多，角色很快成型后打法基本固定，并没有什么自由选择的空间，反正打起来除了武器技能以外都一样。另一方面敌人种类不多，boss设计一般，来来回回就几招复读。特别是最终boss，就是个血厚的木桩而已，伤害不高，招式不多，速度不快，怎么配当最终boss的，评价为不如红雀一根。

4. 音乐，单拿出来听还行，但是放在游戏里感觉有点怪，比如沮丧森林的音乐，不知道在燃个什么劲。

5. 地图探索方面，优点是地图大，缺点也是地图大。地图藏了很多道具，但是很多都用不太上。比如首饰，特意分成红绿黄蓝好几种颜色，但属性加成就只有那么点，你藏那么多干什么呢？更何况你连个标记功能都没有，而且后期地图很多道具都是投掷道具，对不玩投掷流的玩家就是鸡肋。另一方面地图和主角技能的互动性不足。二段跳和滑步用到的场景挺多的，但是冲刺和空中冲刺用到的场景明显少很多，需要用奥术互动的场景机关就更少了，感觉有点意义不明。

6.封面欺诈。steam看游戏封面，主角是妙龄少女，进游戏后发现是大妈，配合上游戏似有似无的软色情服装，真的很难绷得住……不会真有人吃这一口吧（惊恐

翻訳が怪しかったり、操作性に微妙に癖があります。

探索は楽しいです。
回復アイテムはそれなりに数を持てるので、
ボス戦でもパターンが把握できればそこまで難しい難易度ではないと思います。

アクションが増えるのが中盤以降なので、それまでは戦闘や移動にやや煩わしさを感じることがあります。
あと中盤辺りで特定の装備を手に入れるまでは高い場所からの落下死が付いて回るので、装備を手に入れるまでは忍耐の時間です。

自分の本作での死亡原因は落下死が多かったです。

雑魚敵の戦闘でも適度に緊張感を持てて総合的には楽しめました。

記憶に無かったのだがどうやら発売当初になんかダメだったみたいで返金してたものを今更買い直してプレイ。
何やかんやアプデを経て調整されたのかそこまで悪い内容では無く、セール無しだと少し渋い顔になるがセール込みならまあ遊べる部類だと思う。

真エンドらしいラストまでプレイしての感想は何と言うか「勿体ない」という感触。間違いなく素材は良いはずなのだが各所の調整や一部のコンセプトで名作になれなかった残念なもの。

1）難解なクエストライン
メトロイドヴァニア乃至ARPGといえば気持ちよく探索と戦闘を繰り返したいもの。しかし本作は某フロムゲーをリスペクトしたのか非常に分かりにくいクエストが多数盛り込まれており、攻略サイト無しでは「だれ？」「どこ？」「何……？」をひたすら繰り返すことになる。マップマーカーでも付けてくれれば良かったのだが場所やアイテムの問題だけでなく「〇〇に3回話しかける」とかいうよく分からない手間をかけないといけなかったり、時限付き・分岐有りのクエストもあって普通に初見・無情報ではとても気持ちよく遊べたものではない。
小規模レベルのクエストの流れはだいたい話が分かるが肝心の世界観やメインストーリーの流れについては正直全く理解出来なかった……。

2)変化に乏しい戦闘とビルド
剣・斧・双剣・弓の4種に秘術（魔法）を織り交ぜて戦うが如何せん序盤に幾つかめぼしいスキルを取った後は、それこそLv30もあれば余るくらい普通に戦うのに困らないようになってしまう。装備品はそこそこのコストを掛けて強化する必要があるので後半になるまで自由に色んな武器を切り替えて戦うとかやっぱり出来ないし、そうなるとスキルツリーなんて1つ伸ばして残りは汎用を埋めればもうどうでもいいやってことで戦闘についてはまるで変化が無くなってしまう。一応、武器も防具も幾らか特殊効果で差異があるにはあるのだがそれが劇的かというと「なんかダメージが増えたな」という程度で、秘術も一部が強いだけで大半はどうでもいいものばかりなので……

3）探索のやりがいと面倒さ
マップは確かに広いしプレイ時間20時間越えるくらいにはなるが（攻略サイトで迷子をある程度避けたうえで）いかんせん探索していてワクワクしないのが宝箱に小銭や消耗品ばかりで、異様に分かりにくい隠し通路の先にもやっぱり素材だとかいかにもお宝ですって雰囲気でどうでもいい秘術や武具が置いてあるのであんまりワクワクしない……。ましてや、中盤以降は購入した自宅に飾るだけの家具があっちこっちに配置されているため躍起になってコンプリートしたい人でもなければ拾ってウキウキはしないかなあ。
ついでに、探索のために使う特殊スキルがいちいち切り替えして使う必要があったり、それ自体が他で役に立たないもんで必要になる度にモヤモヤする。

ちなみに難易度ノーマルでプレイしましたがなんか隠しボスっぽい連中が異常に強い以外では基本的に回復のモーションが素早いし回復アイテムはスキル＋特定アイテムで20個以上持ち歩けるうえに激安でいくらでも買えるのでどちらかというと緩い感じ。ましてや設置罠や遠距離攻撃を利用して戦闘拒否しながら逃げ回って安全に攻略とかいう事すら出来るのでまあ……うん。
その他、不可解なデフォルトのキー設定やら何やら色々ありますがまあ総じて40~50点って感じですね。

Reminds me of Salt & Sanctuary, and if you enjoyed Death's Gambit I think you'll love this. The soundtrack also feels nostalgic, very reminiscent of classic Castlevania imo.

I'm thankful spells have no stat requirements or other restrictions for casting. Instead you put the spell into your hotbar and start blasting. The only limiting factor seems to be cooldown, and while mana exists on the stat screen I'm not sure it actually matters.

Lastly, there are a ton of side quests, but it feels like each adds context to the main quest rather than detracting from it. The main quest is presented as a trial, which is one part investigation (in Act 1 it's about a missing girl, and in Act 2 it's about the source of the plague) and one part ritual (which you similarly know nothing about), and it might also be a dream? Anyway, it's a really good way to get YOU the player in the mindset of your character and give an excuse as to why our protagonist has no idea what the hell is going on WITHOUT USING AMNESIA. You're a Vigilant, which is kind of like a Witcher, which I think is cool, and by talking to the villagers and doing their silly little errands you learn more about how to complete your trial, and the larger mystery surrounding the longest night.

遊戲類型是喜歡的，但是某些地方非常的反人類而且沒救，比如我找的攻略沒有提到伊莎貝拉在序章要去對話，我當初完全沒有反應過來一路走到山洞裡把布魯娜打了，堆進度推太快，後續直接拿不到黛西特調真結局直接無了，打了幾個小時全白費，我是覺得感覺挺差的，遊戲本身不錯，但是製作者把重要道具藏很細，而且一下就會錯過，但是遊戲本身又沒有讓人玩得很爽的地方，想到要重打就煩，如果你是喜歡好結局，討厭不可補救的物品，那我覺得你別來玩這遊戲會好點，我接受甚麼地圖踏遍才能獲取甚麼東西的橋段，但我真的超級討厭這種不可補救的類型，你如果和黑魂一樣至少好玩就算了然而偏偏沒有。

IN ITS CURRENT STATE I cannot recommend this game... which is a shame because i was really enjoying my time with it otherwise. The map is known to be bugged. The developer's solution (from the bug reporting thread)? Run the game at 1080 or 720p. Those are, apparently, the only resolutions the map functions in. I, however, was already six hours into the game and what was happening to me was that my "you are here" icon was drifting further and further up on the map screen. This meant that not only was it falsely reporting my location, but it also wasn't illuminating the areas of the map [i]I was actually in.[/i] Resetting the resolution changed nothing. I'm guessing once your cursor starts drifting, that's it. There is no fix; just if you want a functional map, you have to [i]start[/i] the game at 1080 or 720p resolution. I have not tested this, though... I'm not eager to blow six hours of progress. This game is quite big and sprawling, too. You [b]need[/b] a functional map.

Also, it looks like the last helpful response from the dev on the bug-reporting thread was March of 2025. It doesn't look like this will be getting fixed anytime soon.

About the game otherwise? It's basically a 2D Bloodborne with some kind of time travel / dimensional shenanigans thing going on. Combat is not as difficult as Moonscars, but fairly similar otherwise. The game doesn't take itself completely seriously, but isn't obnoxious about it, either... which is a nice change of pace. This would have probably been a solid recommend if not for the map. If that ever gets fixed, I may revisit and update this review.

Finalizei Vigil: The Longest Night e fiquei surpreso com o jogo! Esse jogo é um metroidvania 2D com combate souls-like (alias, dá para ver que dark souls e bloodborne foi a grande inspiração desse jogo).

O jogo possui uma exploração bem divertida, incluindo as mecânicas classicas de movimentação de metroidivanias, como pulo duplo, dash e dash aério. A historia principal bem coesa e muitas side quests para serem resolvidas. Um ponto de atenção é que esse jogo não possui auto save, algo também similar com os metrodvanias tradicionais como o Castlevania SofN ou Bloodstained. Então, cuidado na exploração! Salve sempre o jogo nos pontos de save. Um outro alerta: cuidado com o dano de queda!

O estilo artistico do jogo é muito belo, os mapas são muito detalhados. A unica coisa que eu não gostei muito é da animação dos personagens. Para mim o estilo escolhido pelo estudio para as animações, em especiais dos NPCs. Para mim a movimentação, em especial das articulações ficou um pouco estranha.

Sobre o combate, é a formula souls-like. Voce tem o seu HP, a estamina e mana. Uma mecânica diferente que esse jogo implementa e que eu achei muito legal é a exaustão. Quando você consome toda a sua barra de estamina você começa e incrementar a barra de exaustão com o valor da estamina consumida. Enquanto a barra de exaustão não está completa, o dano da personagem principal possui metade do valor. Ao completar a barra de exaustão a personagem entra em exaustão e ela fica imovel por alguns segundos. Essa mecanica é muito interessante pois deixa o combate mais agressivo e dá a possibilidade de executar alguma evasão mesmo que a estamina acabe.

O game possui uma boa variedade de armas e armaduras (apesar que na minha jogatina eu não obtive muitas, mesmo utilizando equipamentos que aumentam o drop rate de itens). Isso é uma coisa que eu considero um ponto negativo, pois durante as telas de loading você vê muitos equipamentos, mas você não consegue muitos, a não ser que você use um item que é obtido durante a exploração que permite "roubar" itens dos inimigos. Pelo que eu senti o jogo força você a usar esse item para conseguir partes de armaduras e armas.

Sobre as armas, o jogo possui 5 tipos de armas: espadas, machados, adagas e arcos. Cada tipo possui uma arvore de habilidades propria que você pode evoluir a medida que ganha niveis de experiência. Uma coisa bem legal é que algumas armas possuem habilidades especiais que podem ser utilizadas executando comandos com o direcional + botão de ataque, similar a um comando de um jogo de luta!

Minha conclusão é que esse jogo é um bom metrodvania! Recomendo experimentar!

Я нашёл самородок. Не огранённый алмаз в бесконечно огромной горе навоза Стима, даже обидно что эта игра не особо популярна. Пусть вас не смущает визуальный стиль интерфейса, стамина при ударах и костры с возрождающимися монстрами, ясно откуда разработчики черпали вдохновение, черпали, но в какой то момент от этого отказались, ведь перед вами - чистопородная метроидвания, во всей своей красе. Фанатам жанра пройти мимо этой игры было бы настоящим преступлением.

Несмотря на явное вдохновение Солслайками и то, что рядовой враг способен отправить нас к праотцам за пару ударов, игра мне показалась достаточно лёгкой на нормальном уровне сложности. Всех боссов я побеждал с первого-второго трая без особых усилий (кроме боссов гуманоидов, эти попили крови, разработчики не смогли придумать ничего умнее чем выдать им тонну здоровья и сделать ваншотными, но и на них можно найти управу и свой подход, либо же заучить паттерн атак и вывозить на реакции), игра выдвигает сложность и даёт игроку бесконечное количество возможностей с этими сложностями справиться, можно честно обходиться перекатами и парированиями, а как почуешь что дело пахнет керосином и отправкой обратно на костёр, выпускаешь из себя всю грязь в виде всяких заклинаний, ножей, имбовых приёмов и прочего. Практически в прологе я выучил навык позволяющий один раз пережить смерть, что бесконечно облегчило мне жизнь. Баланс тут на стороне игрока, как не крути.

Сюжет же... Достаточно расплывчатый. Тяжело понять что происходит и я быстро потерял нить происходящего, какая то муть про перемещения во времени, вечную ночь, день сурка, сопряжение сфер, намешано всё в кучу, что происходило и чем всё закончилось я так и не понял, словно сценаристы сами не понимали про что они пишут. Главная героиня настоящее бревно, вроде имеет какие то диалоги, но по сути безликая кукла как в Геншин Импакте, я так и не увидел от неё за игру какую то эмоцию кроме каменного лица на любое произошедшее событие, Безмолвно Кающийся из Бластфемоса был более эмоциональным. По закону жанра есть две концовки, но они дадут больше вопросов, чем ответов.
Сама игрушка пробегается часа за 3-4, но если вы захотите найти все секреты... Ну, моё время видно.

Отличительная черта от других метройдваний заключается в наличии огромного количества квестов, каждый встречный доходяга так и норовит вас о чём нибудь попросить, квесты можно провалить, иногда они даже конфликтуют друг с другом, некоторые можно выполнить только в определённый момент игры, в общем навозился я с ними, а благодаря убогой записной книжке, в которую Лайла частенько забывает записать всё самое важное, держать их в уме было ещё "веселее".

Отдельной похвалы достойна графика, она не только приятна глазу, но и выигрышно смотрится в сравнении со своими сородичами тем, что честно отображает то, что на героине сейчас надето. К сожалению это и приводит к классической дилемме всех модников, надеть кошко-ушки или продолжить бегать с ведром на голове, потому что ничего лучше так и не удалось найти?
Музыка разниться от шедевров "почти Бетховен", до заунывных завываний, но как и в случае с любой музыкой, слушать одно и тоже 30+ часов, как бы трек не был хорош, утомляет.

Есть конечно и немножко дёгтя, Долгой Ночи свойственна раздражающая меня проблема, что была и в Кастельвании, и в Бладстрейне, а именно огромное количество бесполезного снаряжение, всякие нелепые мечи, которые мы никогда в руки не возьмём, броня, не пойми от чего защищающая (например защита от проклятий, но на всю игру я встретил лишь одного безобидного мотылька, который атакует игрока этим элементом) некоторые вещи и вообще просто прикол, кто добыл наряд монашки поймёт о чём я. К этому добавляется и беда Дарк Солса с его тысячами видов непонятных статистик, чёрт пойми как на игру влияющие и которые тебя пугают своим полотном.

Видов оружия тут не так много, по факту четыре: одноручное, двуручное, кинжалы и луки. Если копнуть глубже, можно найти ещё рапиру и палицу с гвоздями, у них свой уникальный паттерн атак, но по сути они тоже одноручки. В трейлерах героиня щеголяет с посохом, но магический посох в игре увы, лишь один и считается мечом, так что для билда игры через магию выбор печально невелик, хотя и без посоха заклинания достаточно имбовые (они используются отдельно и не считаются за оружие).

Игра кстати довольно забагованная, баги бывают как просто нелепые и не мешающие, визуальные, полезные (несколько раз моя Лайла забывала у неё выбран огромный двуручник и брала его в одну руку, сохраняя характеристики двуручника, но имея паттерн атак одноручника)(или я почти с ходу понял как продлить свой прыжок, забираясь в места в которые должен был по идее попасть только ближе к концу игры), так и реально выводящие из себя, например полоска HP под героиней после загрузки игры, которую нужно убирать включением-выключением, но самый кошмарный из них - сломанная карта. С чем это связано я не понял, разработчики так же не знают в чём дело, хоть и в курсе проблемы, но вы можете оказаться тем счастливчиком, у которого карта не будет рисоваться в игре по мере прохождения. Да, тут сама по себе одна из самых худших карт в метройдваниях, так она ещё и может сломаться у вас, и это не та игра, которую можно пройти без карты, поверьте мне. Перемещение между кострами тоже выполнено без какого либо графического интерфейса, так что готовьтесь к трате времени на бессмысленные телепортации, в надежде ткнуть наконец в нужный, добро пожаловать в Лес А4, Подземелье Д6, сиди и думай, "каво?" Так же без танцев с бубном игра не увидела мой контроллер, что тоже просто прекрасно.

Расстроила меня так же и Новая игра+, из нового контента пару новых диалогов в прологе, да откроется возможность качать навыки, такое себе, я и без этого уже всех убивал с одного удара, летая по карте как молния.

P.S.
Да, здесь действительно есть стены которые можно взорвать бомбами, я понял это только в конце и никто вам об этом не скажет в самой игре, самим догадаться тоже тяжело, спасибо кривым хитбоксами бомб за потраченную жизнь.

一款特别好的国产类银，有着独特的画风和不错的剧情，游戏内有很多支线任务，略微繁琐但可以进一步了解npc和剧情，战斗方面打击感是一个缺点，其他的都还好。游戏整体难度不高，总之还是很推荐游玩（希望可以有实体书版本的角色和剧情设定集）

Horrible UI, map system is jank, most of the game is face-tankable, except for like 2 randomly difficult bosses. Screen tearing is constant and unsightly. Entire game has zero variety and just feels like one biome imo. Went the entire game without trying half of the weapons or items because the UI is such a slog to use, and most of it is crap. Biggest issue is that many of the quests are failable, and the notes in the UI do not help at all to figure out where to go. Map is not marked at all, and there are 2 huge points of no return with no warning to first time players. Developer tried to fix this by implenting a new game plus, which I tried for about 2 minutes and went "no".
This game could have been amazing, but unfortunately a lot of horrible design decisions obstructed the potential. Most of the game felt weirdly easy except for a couple DLC bosses. This did not age well.

It's not terrible, but it definitely has some annoying features that outweigh the good. Taking fall damage makes exploration tedious instead of fun, walking into rooms has an unusually long load menu (super problematic in the village area), and the dodge has weird timing problems that is especially problematic on bosses. Worst of all is the stamina system. It feels like a game that didn't know what it wanted to do with itself (has tons of weapons/items like Symphony of the Night, but its stats system is way more dense to navigate to make choices about which to use).

The map is fine, artwork is fine, and I like that you can teleport between save points immediately.

Update: I didn't know a dash could be bad, but it can be. This game manages to have a bad dash mobility skill.

A long game to get into at first...but once you settle in with the map and gameplay you're locked in.

[b] Story/Characters/Map: [/b] The story is gloomy, hard to get into and harder to pay attention to. There are some scenes and notes that become pretty interesting but it doesn't last long in the memory. You are a Vigilant and have to take down many of abomination types of beings. I wish I could give you more about the characters except say some of bosses and mini bosses look pretty cool. The game does give off an excellent creepy atmosphere, that has pretty good music and settles in nicely. The map is pretty complicated but I didn't find any bugs or glitches that made it impossible to play. It can be slightly confusing but nothing to rage about.

[b] Art/Combat-Weapons/Skills: [/b] Artwork does a fantastic job putting you in this dystopian nightmare. Everything looks and fits the part in that sense. The game has a fun combat/weapon style the player can play as which is: Swords, Bow & Arrows, Daggers and Axes. All of the weapon skills can be leveled up. They added a wide amount of weapons and you can upgrade your favorites. Depending on your weapons of choice you can get certain skills with that weapon. The gameplay is very fun and mix that with the combat and artwork it does enough for me to get a thumbs up. Have fun Vigilant!

온갖 잡퀘스트를 전부 클리어해야 되는데 조금이라도 놓치면 해당 회차에선 클리어가 불가능하다. 트리거가 하도 많아서 보스 1마리만 잘못잡아도 퀘스트가 실패해서 도전과제를 클리어하기 매우 힘들어진다

Game is currently on sale and i went for it. So far I am loving it. It reminds me of symphony of the night with a souls-like twist. ppl have mentioned issues with the map, but either it got fixed or i am just lucky and it hasnt messed up.

Tons of secrets and ive already put in almost 16 hours into it and still no where near done :D.

Vigil: The Longest Night ist ein wunderbares und fantastisches 2D Metroidvania mit einer grusligen und gespenstigen Atmosphäre in einer farbenprächtigen in ewiger Nacht umhüllten Welt voller Schreckenswesen die Leila, die Nachtwächterin in den Weg stellen auf der Suche nach der Wahrheit in ihrer Heimat Maye Town der ewigen Nacht aufzudecken.

Die per Hand gezeichneten Charaktere, Gegner und Bosse sind alle kreativ Hammer mit ihren verschiedenen Designs.
Die ganzen Hintergründe, Landschaften und Kulissen der einzelnen Levels sind großartig und gigantisch.

Die große Anzahl an Waffen und Rüstungsset die Leila auf ihrer Reise findet und von Feinden erbeuten kann ist Top. Die detailreich und sehr gut designeten Rüstungsset die auch Leila's Aussehen verändern sind geil und großartig in ihren Design.

Die ganzen Waffen sind auch Klasse super designt und gestaltet. Einige besitzen auch ihre ganz eine Waffenfertigkeit die man per Tastenkombination auslösen kann und starke Techniken auszuführen.

Neben Waffen und Rüstungen gibt's auch die magischen Items die man auf seinem Abenteuer finden kann. Die sind meisten an gut versteckt in den vielen Leveln und Andere sind Nebenquest versteckt.

Die fünf Talentbäume, Ein Talentbaum der deine Statuswerte erhört und die vier Anderen geben die permanente Buffs und neue Techniken zu je einer der vier Waffenklassen die wären Schwerter, Zwillingsdolche, Bögen und Äxte erwerben können.

Es ist eine Menge an Nebenquest die verschiedene Aufgaben und Herausforderungen dir geben die darauf ausgelegt sind die verschiedenen Orte wo die NPCs dich hinschicken genau unter die Lupe zu nehmen um das zu finden was von dir verlangen wird.

Die Karte zu der gesamtem Welt von Vigil: The Longest Night ist sehr detailreich und recht farbenfroh gestaltet die man selbst nach und nach aufdecken muss und man hat sie von Anfang an vom Spiel.

Es ist etwas Schade das man keine Wegmarken oder andere Markierungen auf der Karte setzen kann zu bestimmten Orten oder Stellen die man leichter wieder finden könnte wenn man sie doch vergessen sollte oder verpassen kann beim wieder besuchen der verschiedenen Levels.

Der gesamte Soundtrack vom dem Video Game ist majestätisch und brillant der von Jouni Valjakka komponiert wurde.

Die Geschichte zu Leila und ihrer Welt ist wundervoll und mysteriös gut geschrieben und gibt dir recht viele Hinweis zu der Vergangenheiten.

Die zahlreichen Items die man findet geben dem Spieler etwas Lore zu der Welt und paar vage Hinweise zur der Vergangenheit wo dir das Game viel Freiraum deine eigenen Gedanken und Theorien zu der Geschichte und der Welt von Vigil: The Longest Night aufbauen kannst.

Wenn man sich nur auf die Hauptstory die nur aus drei Akten besteht konzentriert ist man mit dem Video Game recht schnell durch auf seinen Weg zum Ende wenn man die Nebenaufgaben und Erkundungen ausschließen lässt.

Das Entdecken und Sammeln macht mega viel Spaß die gesamten Waffen, Rüstungen, Magieitems, Ringe usw. einzusammeln und lassen sich vielseitig einsetzten bei deinen Kämpfen.

Die Kämpfe sind mit den vier Waffenklassen super epische und spektakuläre mit der großen Zahl an verschiedenen Waffen mit ihren versteckten Techniken sind die zahlreichen Feindbegegnungen und Bosskämpfe großartig.

Ein fantastisches Abenteuer in einer mystischen und grusligen Welt mit vielen Geheimnissen. Spektakulären Bosskämpfen. Bombastischen Leveln. Fabelhaften Charakterdesign. Viele tolle Side Quest. Tonnenweise Items und einen genialen Soundtrack.

Super Reise mit Leila durch ihre Welt der ewigen Nacht und mit 100% in zwei Spieldurchgängen im New Game+ beendet.

Метроидвания, которую вы сможете полюбить или возненавидеть в результате своих же действий или наоборот бездействия. Позвольте объяснить. Если вы хотите пробежать основных боссов, забив на различные квесты, коих здесь много - то игра вам очень понравится. Здесь много отличных боссов, визуал, боёвка в совокупности с магией классная.

Но если вы захотите пройти все квесты в игре и закрыть игру на 100%, то игру вы возненавидите. Потому что квесты иногда ломаются, плюс в один момент вы сможете квест провалить просто потому что... А почему? А неизвестно. Журнал квестов вам этого не расскажет.

Поэтому если просто в игру играть - игра очень кайфовая, но если вы соберетесь её закрыть полностью - ну, успехов.

У игры есть один существенный минус за исключением квестов. Разрабы супер простой сюжет про очередной обречённый город завернули в огромное количество пустых диалогов, пытаясь сделать сюжет из-за этого "круче". Серьёзно. В самом начале, если вы будете общаться со всеми NPC в первый час игры, то всё это общение у вас займёт полтора часа реального времени. Потому что вас встретят около 15-ти различных NPC с откровенно пустыми диалогами.

Перетерпите это и двигайтесь дальше по игре, благо игра всё равно на крепенькие 7 из 10. Игра кстати до безумия лёгкая.

After more time with the game, I’m switching my review to positive.

Pros:

Great exploration, map design, and secrets

Fun, impactful combat

Solid talent trees

Cons (mostly controls):

Autosave only on shrines, and teleporting only saves the one you came from

You can delete a save from the Load Game screen (lost progress twice)

Can’t scroll magic backwards

No way to separate combat and non-combat abilities (easy to use the wrong spell mid-fight)

Overall, the game’s world, combat, and progression really won me over — just wish the controls were a bit smoother.

1周目は攻略を見ないで、追加アプデされた後に2周目クリア
結構ゲームバランスも変わっていて1周目の時はレーザー打てる杖がラストまで役に立ってヌルゲーでしたが、2周目に普通の武器でプレイすると普通に歯ごたえがある作品でした
マップが恐ろしく広いメトロイドヴァニアで、油断すると即落下死するほど高低差のあるエリアが続きます
スキルツリーもうまく機能していて、自分の使う武器種に合わせて成長させることができます
漢字が台湾で使われているのそのままで恐ろしくわかりづらい翻訳と、序盤であるクエストをクリアし忘れて時間を進めてしまうと、その周回ではもう絶対に真エンドを見れない仕様がネック
ソウルライクなのですが倒されてしまうと即ゲームオーバーで、その分難易度は同じジャンルと比べると易しめです
一周大体15～20時間くらいでクリアできるので、ソウルライクメトロイドヴァニアの入門用としてオススメです

最大の欠点は強力な仮面ほどヘンテコな造形で装備すると顔が隠れてしまうところ…
