This game plays like a hobby project, not a commercially viable project. This could be forgiven if the Early Access state was "I'm entering early-pre-alpha", but not when it is "fairly feature complete" and estimated to be 8 months from release.

The stone pickaxe (imagine a stone pickaxe from minecraft) has a cooldown of 4 seconds between each hit. I assume that's a bug, but it's a pretty glaring one.

The interface of the build tool is super weird and unwieldy, requiring you to hold the right mouse button while you navigate a file explorer type interface with your mouse and left mouse click to find what you're looking for.

Minecraft succeeded as a 1 person project (originally) by having really basic pixel graphics as its aesthetics and basically no menus outside of the inventory screens.

Valheim succeeded as a 1 dev project because the 1 dev had other people on his team to help with the graphics and UI.

This game does neither.
