The world of Twinsun is in peace after the young Quetch Twinsen defeated the evil Dr. FunFrock. New trouble arises when aliens land on the planet and strange things start to happen. Jugue este juego de niño, lo amaba. Lo volvi a jugar hace poco en steam. El mismo juego de siempre. Un exito. Trajo muchos recuerdos. Habiendo jugado cientos de juegos de generaciones muy superiores puedo decir que esta a la altura de los mejores, teniendo en cuenta la epoca. Lo volvere a jugar.

Excelente jogo e muito nostálgico (ainda tenho o CD que vinha nas revistas de jogos de antigamente). Existem alguns problemas de gameplay, mas nada que atrapalhe a diversão. A solução desses problemas e novas melhorias possivelmente serão adicionadas em sua nova versão (Little Big Adventure - Purple Empire). Recomendo muito o jogo original e estou ansioso pelo remake!

Simplesmente meu jogo preferido de toda a vida. Universo extremamente charmoso, personagens carismáticos, gameplay divertidíssima, trilha sonora muito linda. Mesmo com uma pegada aparentemente infantil, o jogo transita muito bem em humor bobinho pra temas densos como filosofia, política e religião, e isso de uma forma super tranquila e bem construída. Quero que todos conheçam esse mundo e seus habitantes :)

Im still in love with the first LBA, but this one just doesn't do it.

Never played this until recently, so nostalgia isn't a factor for me.

The changes between isometric and 3d is what turns me off from LBA 2. They should have stuck to the all isometric approach like the first, but even making the game 100% 3D would have been better than what they did. It's the blend (or the lack of blend) of the two that I am unable to appreciate.

I'll always love the first one, and the classic version of LBA 2 is for sure better than the remaster, but it's just not for me.

Can't recommend. I really tried to give this a fair go. The combat and platforming in this is horrendously bad. If you like the first game, this is more of the same. If you disliked it like like I did, there are some improvements but nothing that will likely change your mind. Just not my cup of tea. I know plenty of people who highly enjoyed it though so give it a go if you're game!

I’d been waiting almost 30 years to finally play this after trying the old demo from a PC Gamer magazine, and the experience somehow left me both disappointed and satisfied. It was a real relief to finish it at last, earning every achievement in LBA1 and LBA2 so I could experience everything they had to offer. Back in the 90s, the game looked incredible with its cutting‑edge 3D visuals that could stand alongside the Sega CD and even the PS1. I still can’t quite understand what the developers were thinking when they made it so awkward and difficult to play. I want to say I enjoyed it, but I’m also glad it’s behind me if that makes sense. I won’t be revisiting it again anytime soon, remaster or not. I don't want to recommend the game, but I will for those that enjoyed the original.

A faithful port of the game, that is completely functional in modern systems. Team 2.21 have done a fantastic job making this port of the game, and the little achievements they added incentivized a little extra exploration. I think this is a game who'se controls don't stand the test of time, but it's vibe (music, graphics, storyline, gameplay) are still fresh today. I've completed both the "dlc" original port and the classic version and they're both smooth and versions of the game, they're functionally identical. I'm aware that LBA1 calssic is supposed to run on mobile, and I haven't tested that, however LBA2 works just fine on modern computers in this port. thank you for your service preserving this game.

This game is a gem of my childhood. I remember getting it through the PC Expert magazine. I have beaten this game more times than I can recall, and I keep coming back every time I think of the music. I have been properly pavloved by 2.21.

No puedo explicar lo mucho que significa este juego para mí, me alegra mucho que esté en Steam.
Twinsen es sinónimo de infancia, lo jugué por primera vez en un Windows 98 cuando tenía 8 o 9 años, y desde entonces sus entrañables personajes, y especialmente su banda sonora, se quedaron grabados en mi memoria. Por aquel entonces, me pasaba incontables horas explorando los escenarios sin avanzar en la historia para descubrir todos los secretos ocultos y hablar con todos los NPCs

Volver a jugarlo ha sido como viajar al pasado... la escena final todavía logra conmoverme.

Este tesoro no podía faltar en mi biblioteca.

Wow! What a trip down memory lane! My story with this game might differ somewhat from others, as it was a part of my childhood but I didn't actually play it. No, my cousin did. Neither of us spoke English nor were we especially bright with this type of game, as we were quite young. For that reason, we didn't go very far. I distinctively recall he restarted the game a lot for whatever reason, so quite a considerable amount of time was spent at Citadel Island specifically.

Fast forward nearly 30 years and I *finally* get to play it for myself after eyeing it here on Steam for a few years now and after refunding the first game for not being particularly impressed by it. I'm just a few minutes in, feeling like a child again running around Citadel Island not really knowing what to do (except I now speak English fluently, so I'm learning how to progress) and good God, they really don't make games like this anymore. There's something really special about LBA2 and it clicked for me immediately. It's not just nostalgia either as I didn't personally play it.

I'm also quite surprised by how well it plays on the Steam Deck. Not because I expected it to perform poorly, but because the controls are phenomenal. I made no changes to the default control scheme and despite being unorthodox even by 1997 standards, it just makes sense. In fact, I think having RT as forwards and LT as backwards makes perfect sense with tank controls. I don't recall actually playing this game much if at all (besides watching my cousin explore Citadel Island), let alone with a controller, and it feels like riding a bike... if I hadn't learned how to ride one.

I'd definitely recommend getting this whether you played it or was exposed to it as a child, or if you heard of it just recently. It actually aged surprisingly well, although parts of it do look and feel dated. It's a very unique game, the likes of which you'll struggle to find nowadays.

The game is lovely but quite challenging at parts, as its not always entirely clear what you need to do or where you need to go to progress in the game. If you are impatient you may need to use a walkthrough online for assistance at parts, but as a child I completed the game without using a walkthrough. Guess I was more patient back then. Fantastic atmosphere and music, just dive in to this adventure.

I was in middle school, we would play it with my little brother and my mother (who knows some english) and we would try to solve the puzzles and such. No internet, no guidebook. One of the first games I ever played — it came in a mysterious pile of CDs from a 1999 sound card, probably cursed.

I had no idea what was going on, but I was running around with a magic ball, getting arrested, escaping jail, and kicking people with the power of 90's game design.

O porte dele inclusive é ótimo pros pcs de hoje e conta até com New Game +

MAS, a menos que você tenha jogado ele antes OU curta jogos clássicos, ESPERE! Vai sair o remake e neste provavelmente vão trabalhar melhor mecânicas [que envelheceram mal], a câmera que é um caos e até aspectos da história que além de não fazer sentido, é meio meh.

Après un premier épisode fort réussi, Adeline Software nous fait retourner sur Twinsun, menacée par un étrange peuple venu de l’espace. Twinsen, héros reconnu, marié et futur père, se retrouve embarqué dans un sinistre complot visant à faire accomplir une ancienne prophétie qui annoncerait la renaissance de la planète Zeelich… après la destruction de Twinsun !

Une fois encore, le joueur se promène dans le monde coloré et varié de Twinsun, qui se retrouve cette fois tout en 3D (les extérieurs, en tout cas). Twinsen doit explorer des lieux déjà connus, et de nouvelles terres lointaines. Face à vous, des créatures improbables, des peuples mystérieux.

De belles cinématiques, des graphismes améliorés, un bestiaire encore plus délirant, mais dommage seulement que les musiques soient moins prenantes (une scène de bataille générale avec une musique de promenade pépère en arrière-plan, ça n’est pas crédible). Si vous avez aimé le premier épisode, vous ne serez pas déçu par celui-ci.

Shortly: just play it, you will not regret it, even in 2024. Its one of the best games ever.

I played this game first time when I was probably like 5-6, something like that, so around 2000ish. I was, and still am, living in Estonia and at that time, in close post-soviet era, there really wasnt many games around that time... even not many computers or consoles as a matter of fact. Luckily, my dad had some buddies from USA (or some other foreign country, cant really remember) and through those connections we managed to get a computer for whole family. You know, a clunky old box with a monitor built in. This game also came along with this purchase. So, I watched my dad play the game, I watched my mum play the game (to my knowledge for her still yhe only PC game she ever played) and once I was big enough to use PC myself, me and my brother played the game, sharing computer time with whole family and all... Good memories.

When I was young adult, say about 20 or so, I wanted to play this game again. I had the CD but my laptop couldnt play a game this old anymore. I tried emulator, but couldnt get it to work. I tried looking up a youtube playthrough, to satisfy my need for nostalgia, but couldnt find any. I couldnt even find a forum or something, where this game was discussed. Felt quite down.

Then randomly in 2024 (2 days before writing this) I once again remembered the game and started to google it. Found out, the game had found a second life, as it was uploaded to Steam, made complicable with modern PC-s and even had a remake. Immediatedly downloaded it and finished it in 2 days. The old memories man... It was like I was a kid again... I was in heaven for 2 evenings.

Now it might be a nostalgia speaking, and it definetly is a factor for me personally, but I must say, it is one of the best stories I have experienced in a game, especially if you take into consideration that its made in late 90s. I cant really say exactly what makes it so good, but even if its at times childish, its engaging all the way to the end. Also, the world feels alive, the NPCs for some reason dont seem to be brainless. Landscape, although small compared to todays open-world games, is interesting and in a way beautiful. It really feels like there was just regular life going on in the game. Way before its time. The controls were bad though, had to relearn how to play with arrow keys for example, but it doesnt take away from the overall experience.

Anyways, thanks to the devs and others, who resurrected LBA2 and I hope this franchise will continue to exist...perhaps a LBA3 some day, that will give this world proper justice and exposure it deserves in a modern game setting... Heres hoping

La secuela de Little Big Adventure probablemente se asentó en la memoria de los viejos usuarios de MS-DOS con mayor firmeza que su predecesor. Y esto fue gracias a una aventura elevada a una mayor escala, mejores historias, y un apartado gráfico y mecánicas mejoradas. Pues aunque LBA2 mantuviera la vista isométrica del título base en escenarios interiores, en exteriores brindaba entornos 3D, más abiertos y extensos con una vista resuelta con cámaras fijas que seguían el avance de nuestro protagonista (en esta revisión podemos elegir este modo o uno cuya cámara nos seguirá "en tiempo real").

Esse game marcou minha infância. Lembro que meu tio ganhou o cd desse jogo, na época o pc dele ainda era windows 98. A gente jogava em saves separados e a primeira run quebramos muito a cabeça, até que finalmente conseguimos zerar. Jogão e que muitos desconhecem ou desprezam hoje em dia pela qualidade gráfica.

Damals wie heute ein schönes Spiel mit einer tollen Story. Bedienung ist zwar wie früher aber macht halt Spaß.

Such a good game.
I could play this again and again.
Good story, good quests, adequate difficulty, lovable characters and a beautiful message about hope and friendship.
If you haven't played it, just do it! It's not mandatory to play LBA 1 in order to play this one, and in many aspects, I think LBA 2 is way better than the first. Enjoy it!

I lost count of how many times I have finished this game back in the day. It came bundled up in a brazilian gaming magazine called "CD Expert" back in 1997.
I was obssessed, and even my brother was annoyed at how many times I asked him to reinstall the game for me every now and then (he'd uninstall it to make space lol).
Recently replayed this (as well as the first game) for the nostalgia and realized that I was much better at it as a kid.

This is the first video game I ever played in my life, I can't say in words how much I love this game and how many times I played it.... Everytime I want to jump back in to my chiildhood I play it and it"s always a great time! I'll never get tired of this game, it is timeless!
