Tower of Time es ese híbrido indie de Rol + Estrategia que se para en la línea entre “tácticas en tiempo real con pausa” y “por turnos, pero con ansiedad”. Manejas un grupo, te metes a mazmorras, optimizas habilidades y builds, y el juego te mira a los ojos diciendo: “sí, puedes pausar… pero igual te voy a castigar si vienes a improvisar”.

La primera impresión es clara: isométrico, fantasía, mitos y leyendas, ambiente serio y una vibra de RPG clásico que no pide permiso para ser denso. No es el típico paseo turístico por un mundo abierto; es más bien un “aquí tienes la torre, sube, aprende o muere”, con una presentación atmosférica y una banda sonora que se toma su trabajo más en serio que muchos AAA.

Tower of Time es el tipo de juego que no intenta caerle bien a todos… y por eso funciona. Si te gustan los RPG de grupo con estrategia real (de la que duele), atmósfera marcada, y combates donde pausar no es opcional sino supervivencia, aquí hay bastante carne.

Ahora, lo controversial: que tenga 2226 recomendaciones no significa que sea para cualquiera; significa que encontró a su gente. Y su gente, hoy, no está precisamente haciendo fila (16 jugadores). Eso no lo hace malo, pero sí deja claro que esto es más “joya de nicho” que “fenómeno del momento”.

Wow...I mean...wow. Okay lets go in order, the gameplay is basic but has its charms (though I disliked the battles when you have to defend the mana nodes but at least they were few of them). The characters...memorable but sometimes they felt a bit dull though most of the time they felt real and with personalities.

The narrative...its either a hit or miss, without spoilers its a roller coaster of emotion to be honest. What kept me going was the lore, the notes and diaries you can find on each area and some of the puzzles were fun (others not so much).

So is it worth it? Maybe not for the full price for many but with a discount you should try it.

Na 4 poziomie odpuściłem, bo już się robi nudne.
Walki stają się coraz bardziej schematyczne, mało się zmienia i za wolno przychodzą nowe moce. Rozwój postaci był pomysłowy na początku, teraz staje się powoli męczący, kompletny bałagan w klasach uzbrojenia, bronie wyższych klas są gorsze od niższych, ulepszanie niewiele daje, magiczne ulepszenia zmieniają charakterystykę o ułamki procenta. To samo z lootami, na 3 levelu znajdujesz w większości zielone uzbrojenie 1 poziomu. Przeszedłem cały 3 poziom i nie znalazłem żadnej lepszej broni niż ta, którą już miałem z wcześniejszych poziomów. Walki są słabo zbalansowane, niektóre za łatwe a inne prawie nie do przejścia. Dziwne funkcje, np. przed walką widzisz np. że wrogowie są wrażliwi na żywioł wody, ale co z tego, jak nie możesz zmienić już broni i walisz w nich ognistym mieczem. Ogólnie, gra naprawdę fajna, do 3 poziomu bardzo wciągająca, 3 już zrobił się schematyczny, a 4 zacząłem i już widać, że skończyły się pomysły, gra zrobiła się powtarzalna i w zasadzie cała fabuła zakończyła się na 3 poziomie.

UPD: Changing to not recommend after the lazy ending.

Quite enjoyable game, with a lot of story, a lot of conversations between characters. Each level of the tower is different, enough to add the element of exploration.
I can't really say anything exceptional about this game, so my "recommend" is nowhere on the same level as some other games, but even with some issues I had with the game, they were not enough to go with "not recommend". It's ok, I've been enjoying it. I'll probably forget i even played it in a year or so.

Now the issues I had with this game, that in my opinion could have been done a bit better:

1. Too many items. Waaaay too many items. Omg so many items, I almost had a nervous breakdown near the end of the game and had to just disassemble most of them. I play PoE2, I generally don't mind taking time to choose a gear with the stats that better suit my playstyle. The difference here is that each gear item has a ton of stats, and they are so different, it honestly looks like they are randomly generated. Having green/blue/purple/gold items makes no sense either, because oftentimes a green item is way better than a gold one. Again, seems absolutely random. Comparing them all, with all those 10+ stats for each item is a nightmare. I honestly think such amount of gear you can find in the game is not really necessary. You can also craft gear, let's not forget that. And you can upgrade each of its stats a bit for a super cheap price, which brings me to the next point;

2. A lot of busy work in inventory with upgrading items, enchanting them, crafting etc. My biggest issue is with upgrading item stats. For this you gotta actually drag an item to a separate window where you can choose the stat to upgrade. Simply clicking on an item doesn't work. Clicking works when you upgrade it in a forge, it works when you enchant it, but doesn't work with upgrading stats. Why? Don't know. And after you are done you gotta drag it all the way back to the character gear window. That's a lot of time wasted completely unnecessary.

3. Strange currency balance, mb I'm missing smth. By the end of the game I had hundreds of green and blue crystals. It costs 1 green crystal to upgrade a stat on an item. It costs about 3 or so blue to craft a new item (which I only did in the beginning of the game coz see point 1). What you really need is purple crystals coz they are spent on enchanting items. Which brings me to the next point;

4. There was a converter of crystals on one of the floors that could convert green and blue to purple. Convenient, IF there was a simple way to find where it is if you didn't think to write it down when you first saw it. There is no way to see maps of the completed floors once you are away on another floor. There is no search functionality. The teleports on each floor only work within this floor, for the reason that tbh escapes me -- the magi who lived and worked in that tower, did they really track thousands of steps up and down between floors? The only quick way in the game to return to one of the previous floors is thru the city, which brings me to yet another point;

5. To level up your champions you gotta return to the city and train them in barraks. From gameplay perspective it is convenient enough, just a couple of clicks, and then you can go back to where you left off in the tower. My problem is that it makes no sense from the story perspective. We are sorta in a hurry, going lower and lower in the tower, but the champions gotta walk aaaalll the way up those thousands and thousands of steps, go into the city, go to barracks and then train there to get those extra atribure points or learn new skills. Regularly. This honestly was breaking immersion for me each time I had to do this. Why this city part even necessary? Can't i just level them up inside the tower, explaining this as that they get more experienced the more fights they win? What's the point even?

6. Fights can be played with just a mouse only, but the UI is very inconvenient for this and can't be modified. The character' icons are all the way to the left. Their abilities are all the way to the right. So I have to swipe my mouse back and forth constantly during the fight. Would be so much easier if it was all in the bottom middle. Even if using keyboard shortcuts, you still gotta constantly check on the heroes health and mana, which is again, all the way to the left, and on either their skills are out of cooldown, so your eyes gotta be going left-right-left-right pretty much non stop. Not very thought-through in my opinion.

7. I don't know if it's a bug or intended so: the major story "cutscenes" are just black screen with subtitles taking their time to tell you the next important piece of the story. With no sound. You find those as books. All other books you find you can just read as the whole text off the screen. Why do I have to read these ones in a snail pace of subtitles I don't understand. It was so annoying, I started skipping them entirely.

8. No option to make text on the screen larger. Considering the amount of reading in this game, this is unacceptable. The text is tiny. I have to bring the screen super close or squint all the time.

9. The ending feels weird. Literally ending on "and now you will learn the whole truth" after which credits roll. Wtf? And one major plotline is completely abandoned as well. Kind of anticlimactic ending, meh

Игра, которая играется совсем по другому, нежели обещает на скриншотах.
По виду это классическая рпг, а по факту это чуть ли не визуальная новелла с огромным количеством текста через каждый шаг, сносной графикой и одной из самый странных и стремных боевок, которые я когда либо встречал.
Начало игры сплошь состоит из заставок и диалогов. И ты думаешь - как хорошо, наконец то кто то думает не о зумерском "веселье", а о лоре, как в старые добрые. Но как оказалось, в этой игре разработчики о нем сильно передумали и позабыли о боевке и всем остальном.
Боевка тут построена на инстансах. На основной карте к вам подходят мобы, вы переноситесь в похожу карту, где из нескольких точек на вас лезут мобы в несколько волн. Анимации чудовищные, сам процесс боя вызывает зевоту, каждая схватка - это мучение, преодолев которое мы возвращаемся на уровень.
А на уровне нас ждут тонны текста в виде комментариев, диалогов, подписей к предметам. Причем вся эта буквенная масса идет одним потоком без обозначения важного и не очень. В итоге через пол часа устаешь и скипаешь вообще все. А потом обнаруживаешь что без чтения текста тут делать абсолютно нечего.

Купил игру по скидке 95%. За 55 рублей игра пойдёт. За полную цену - данунах.

Первые пару этажей играть нормально, но к концу третьего этажа игра уже начинает откровенно бесить.
(PS: Бросил игру на 4-ом этаже)

Играл на лёгком уровне.

- Оружие и вещи падают откровенным хламом. Даже тратя минут по 10-15 на то, что бы крутить сундуки с сохранения, через загрузку, получить что-то годное очень тяжело. Жёлтые и фиолетовые вещи 2-го уровня могут быть хуже зелёных и синих вещей 1-го уровня. Некоторые вещи имеют и вовсе откровенно бредовые бонусы, как то - чуть завышенный какой-то 1 параметр, пара ещё каких-то хламовых параметров и всё, а вещь жёлтая. При этом у синей вещи может быть параметров 8 и все они полезные. Да ещё и сама вещь будет на уровень ниже.
Зы: На четвёртом этаже, с получением нормальной брони и оружия из сундуков и в виде наград за победу, стало всё ещё куда более печально. Уже даёт веши уровня 2+ и 3, но они почти всегда хуже вещей, даже 1-го уровня.

- ЗЫ: Денег не хватает, чтобы поднять уровни даже тех персонажей, которыми играю, ни говоря уже о тех персонажах, которые "в запасе". А фарма в игре нет от слова - вовсе.
Как и не хватает фиолетовых кристаллов, чтобы улучшить тот мизер фиолетовых вещей или когда нужен фиолетовый кристалл для 1-2 последних ячеек, для накрутки какого-то параметра. Штуковина, которая синтезировала зелёные в синие, а синие в фиолетовые кристаллы, осталась на другом этаже, а туда попасть нельзя, вроде. Да и не надо мне таких "приключений".

- Выбора оружия для персонажей по факту нет. Для милишников, только мечи, 1 и 2 ручные. Всё остальное хуже по урону и по скорости атаки. Для лукарей, только луки, арбалеты, хоть два одноручных, хоть двуручный - на много хуже по урону. Магу, только 2 одноручных (как нарисованы дефолтные). Ещё 2 перса у меня не открыты, потому не знаю, что они из себя представляют.
ЗЫ: открыл предпоследнего. Оказался магом. Ему тоже лучше такое же оружие, как и первому, рогатому, магу. Ибо мана на умения кончается быстро и параметр "Урон от навыка", который всегда есть в камнях, как бы предназначенных именно для этого мага, становится бесполезен.

(Словил такой прикол - за одну из побед дали жёлтую тушку-бронь для мага. там была прибавка к урону умением аж +135%. Возрадовавшись такому, я мигом надел эту тушку на последнего мага, уронящего именно от параметра умений. И даже не обратил внимания, что в параметре "Восстановление жизни" стояло -5 ед./сек. И пару боёв я не мог понять, почему мой этот маг сам дохнет к середине боя, даже лечение со стороны отряда его не спасало.)

- Персонажи нормальные, только начальные три. У гнома (4й) на нормальном скиле мана кончается за 4-5 бросков топоров, или что он там бросает. У орка (5й), что выдаётся игрой после гнома, вообще скилов нет никаких, пока он какую-то ахинейную ярость не накопит, когда уже бой кончится.
Милишники в общем какие-то тупые, но об этом дальше.
ЗЫ: получил на 4-ом этаже предпоследнего перса - мага. Лупит сильно, дохнет быстро, маны к концу боя почти всегда перестаёт хватать.

- Боевая система - кал. Почему игра не запоминает мой выбор того, что должны делать персонажи? Приходится каждый бой щёлкать по каждому персу и каждый раз заставлять их делать одно и тоже, одно и тоже... Если лукарь с рогатым магом ещё как-то самостоятельно стреляют по мобам, заходящим в их круг агра, то милишники будут стоймя стоять, пока враги их будут расстреливать издалека или пока враги не подойдут вплотную. Каждого "ванька" надо к врагам направлять, так и тут они останавливаются на пол пути, так как того врага уже лукарь с магом забрали, а другие враги им снова до фонаря. С такой боёвкой нужен 1 танк с агром, пусть хоть вообще не домажит, и все остальные нужны или лукари, и/или маги. Милишники тут вообще не нужны, с такой механикой.

- Система навыков убогая, хоть и можно постоянно и бесплатно перераспределять очки навыков. Большинство навыков не нужны или бесполезны, так как для их использования очень быстро заканчивается мана.

- Задания многие душные. В начале задания ты уходишь на другой конец этажа, там выполняешь промежуточную часть задания и тебе порой даже не говорят, что нужно делать дальше или скажут - вернись к "едрёной Матрёне", а ты уже и не помнишь, где эта "Матрёна" была. При этом её может и на карте не быть, а если она на карте и помечена, то эта метка никак не выделена среди других таких же меток, как метка активного задания, и тебе надо прощупать вообще всё на этой карте, чтобы найти нужную метку. Но и не факт, что ты её в итоге найдёшь. А так и не смог найти на третьем этаже, где находится какой-то механический голлем, чтобы закончить одну из побочек. Какое-то ещё задание там не доделал, просто уже плюнул и пошёл на следующий этаж.

- Интерактивные места интереса запросто можно пропустить, так как они почти никак не выделяются из общей картины. Даже "Голдэ"(тут взоржал aka конь, когда первый раз увидел) можно пропустить, так как оное голдэ сливается с окружением, а его редкое поблёскивание похоже на мерцание всяких факелов и прочих горелок. Приходится мотать курсор по всему, мать его, экрану.

- Сюжет. Написана-то история, вроде, ничего, да только в наше время уже и гвозди со дня на день научат разговаривать, чтобы они подсказывали плотнику, как по ним лучше бить, тут же заставляют читать портянки текста. Даже анимации истории никакой нет, игроку предлагается представлять действия персонаже, на подобии - "Алёнушку повело, Иванушка поддержал её за локоть". Серьёзно? Может им лучше и вовсе книги писать, а не игры выпускать?

Игра и без того не маленькая, а ещё и напичкана кучей неудобств и нелепых трудностей.
Как по мне, цена ей рублей 300 в базарный день.
Дошёл всего-то до 4-го этажа и уже в голове свербит мысль "Да брось ты эту поделку, нax она тебе впёрлась, ведь ничего нового игра уже не предложит, а всё прежнее и так уже душит до вздутия вен головы".

ЗЫ: В итоге, на 4-ом этаже игра уже так утомила своей душной нищетой, однообразием, уже откровенно надоевшими боями ни о чём, своей коридорностью с идиoтской лаберинтностью, своей тупой организацией заданий, кучей текста, который нет возможности отключить, часто кривым управлением движения персонажей, что посовещавшись со всеми "за" и "против" в своей голове, я решил не тратить больше время на это.

見た目が俯瞰視点のCRPG風なので、お手軽なBalder's GateやDivinityシリーズみたいなものを想像していたが、まったく違った。フィールド移動はイメージ通りなのだが、戦闘が毎度専用の画面に切り替わり、完全なRTSスタイルでワラワラ押し寄せる敵をなぎ倒していくタイプ。ノーマルモードでプレイしたが、戦闘が序盤から最後までまったく同じパターンだった。敵キャラの種類は多いが、見た目が違うだけでどれも同じ行動パターンであり、基本突っ込んでくるだけなので早々に作業化し飽きた。ストーリーは塔に深く潜れば潜るほど徐々に明かされていき、興味深い展開だったが、いかんせん道中が無駄に長かった。また便利なワープ機能で一瞬で町に帰還でき、体力も常に全回復するため、探索の緊張感も無く終始のんべんだらりとした展開だった。

第三階層くらいまでは楽しめたが、残りは自分にとってはただの作業で、頑張って最後までプレイしようやくクリアしたが、やはり便利すぎたりお手軽すぎるのは、自分には合わない楽しめない。オプションでパーマデスモードにすることもできるが、そういうことじゃないんだよ。適度な難易度のゲームを創意工夫して攻略したいんだよ。（そう思うなら途中で止めろよ）

文句ばかりになってしまったが、ストーリーは深いし、ちゃんとクリアできるし、アイテム強化は楽しいし、キャラクターの掛け合いとかはJRPGチックだし、良いところもある。セール価格も破格なので手に取りやすく、ゲーム初心者や子供でも安心な難易度や各種表現。現時点で日本語化はXUnity.AutoTranslatorに頼るしかなさそうだが、設定は難しくなかった。音楽は落ち着いたものが多いし、各階層はどれも手が込んでいるようにうまく見せていたと思う。（結局一本道で迷ったり困ったりはしない親切設計）

あまりにも単調すぎて自分のようなオールドスクールなCRPG好きにはおすすめできるゲームではなかったのが残念。

Простая игра с огромным количеством текста, закрученным, по мнению создателей, сюжетом и слабой системой видения боя.
С прохождением сюжета вам нужно будет спускаться по этажам, решая головоломки и принимая решения (или отпуская на волю случая) за своих героев, ну и, конечно же, сражаться.
Для отдыха можете пройти её на сложности "История", для горения выбирайте "Легенда" (появляется ощущение, что на некоторых этажах, легендарный уровень сложности не сбалансирован).

Игра стоит чтобы пройти её один раз, для передышек между крупными проектами.
Не рекомендую тем, кому не нравится много читать.

This is an ok game. It could have easily been much better. Combat is very awkward, often your champions, especially the melee ones dont move even if you give them commands. Combat is somewhat challenging, but for all the wrong reasons. Most of the time you're fighting the awkward controls and sometimes gimmicky abilities (enemies sometimes pull your backline characters half way across the map). Outside of combat i enjoyed the game, unfortunately combat is like 70% of the game. I like the idea behind the combat (its kind of like midnight suns) its just not very well executed. Overall its ok to buy and play this game for the story.

it was ok, up until I had to solo a fight with someone that could not do it! I had 'ridiculous' amounts of dps.. but the mobs just spawned too fast and I had next to no healing (hp regen). I had all enchanted III or IV gear.. tried numerous 'strategies'.. impossible with that class.. the other two solo encounters were a joke in comparison! so I DO NOT recommend this game..

but the game has plenty of other issues.. the RNG is absolute TRASH! I'm constantly getting green items better than blue/purple.. which also seem to have some kind of -ve! I literally had a blue (II) that was FAR better than a blue (II+)!! it's almost like the devs DEMAND that you have multiple attempts at the game to 'succeed' (IF you accepted the trash from the loot container on the first try!!).. but save scumming works a charm.. reload til you get what you want (though as of level 4, reloading is now taking a LOT longer!!).. of course redoing some fights would be a little tedious..if you wanted better loot for the end of combat reward..

you cant see the skills until you've trained to an appropriate level.. which makes planning what you might want to take a little annoying.. sure you can reset skills (at a cost!).. but what does it 'hurt' to show the skill you dont have access to?! its stupid!!

a LOT of gold (unique) items are absolute trash.. have so many or very bad -ves.. you gotta wonder what on earth the devs were thinking!? and more often than not many green items are better.. sure there have been 'revisions' to the game and the devs have 'rebalanced'.. but still.. no idea what they were thinking..

and then there is 'alignment'.. a completely arbitrary method to disadvantage you! its NOT roleplaying (this game is NOT an RPG! you might consider it an ARPG.. but even then I disagree they are RPGs!) its managing their alignment.. if you make 'sensible' decisions.. you're handicapped... stupid decision on the devs part.

you cant get a 'tool tip' of the secondary weapon (in the 'right' hand).. and you cant compare the 2nd ring.. just so many 'little things' that any moron would KNOW to include in a game like this! it's very frustrating..

all up, a 'kind of' interesting game.. but its certainly NOT an RPG.. choices matter not at all.. other than the stupid 'alignment' crap.. and while the story is kinda interesting.. I cant say what the ending is like because I cant get past this stupid solo 'gate' mission..

我就直说了，我选的最低难度，人老了喜欢秒秒秒，不想年轻时一样喜欢挑战自己的软肋。游戏除开不经推敲的剧情算是相当不错，剧情攻略是在贴吧里面找到的，网上的攻略只到第四章，虽然指南也有就是了。不过我出了bug，某个任务先做了最后一环在拿到倒数任务第二环没跳完成，导致全收集拿不到了要二周目才能全收集。
正如系统提示的一样，这个游戏越后期拿到的角色就越强，后拿到的角色肯定要重新培养，我个人的建议是用一个前期的近战角色配三远程节约成本，不过我低难度肯定是四远程暴力硬推，让召唤物抗伤害。技能上方的循环标志是角色自动施法，按键Tab是战斗加速。游戏可以从上方的图标回到城镇，再从时光之塔进入楼层，所以能留下的回蓝道具尽量留下给后面的法师，或者是一个远程吃一个。
游戏的本质就是刷buff，高级碎甲附魔只有近战能拿所以才推荐你带一个近战角色。近战别带太多减少移速的装备，会走不动路的。有个独特金色单手杖也有低级碎甲词条，可以让不吃蓝的混子挂着，同时挂着低级减抗词条单手杖，你带近战挂减益就可以腾一只手出来带强力单手。双手装备的伤害属性是大于单手的，但是单手双持就可以吃多的附魔效果。射手有一个独特金色减甲单手且不与碎甲冲突，配一个紫回蓝当混子会很舒服，也可以不回蓝再配一个独特金色减益。当然装备的打造等级越高，打造出来的装备基础属性就越高，所以还是提倡你去做紫色装备填充没有独特金色的部位。熔炉可以留着强化后期属性好的装备
还有一件事，这个游戏的回复是可以为负数的，需要注意。

非常不错的即时制踢门团游戏，弱化了很多传统crpg的“通病”（尤其是对于偏好快节奏的玩家），并增强了战斗的趣味，喜欢冰风谷龙腾起源这种开了门就是干的会感觉相当不错。

音乐和画风相当不错。翻译质量比较差，能听出/猜出原文其实能看到文本和剧情都相当不错。

6块钱吃到这个绝对是盛宴。

Довольно прикольная атмосфера и интересный, затягивающий сюжет постоянно погружающий в вопросы «а что же дальше?», пока ты не доберёшься в самый «низ» башни. Действительно затягивающая история павшего технологически продвинутого мира. Раскрытие тайны через обрывки записей, диалоги и визуальное повествование — это круто. Чувствуется масштаб произошедшей трагедии.
Боевка своеобразная, похожая на мобильную дрочильню с применением навыков.
Как итог, игра обладает потрясающим сюжетным и атмосферным потенциалом, однако страдает отсутствием оптимизации.

Yeah this game is fun.

Play it on easy for the story, or beat your head against it on hard for gratification. It works fine both ways.

The characters are well developed and likeable. RPG elements from your decisions are few but impactful, yet not limiting.

The combat is rewarding, complex but intuitive, and does not get stale.

My only gripe is the RNG gear system that all ARPGs feel like they need to have, but it's fine not a huge drawback once you figure it out.

One of the best games of its type I've ever played.

JRPG под личиной CRPG.

По-хорошему завернутая история постоянно переворачивающая с ног на голову действо с весьма неожиданным финалом. Сюжет линеен, увы.

Геймплей - нас переносит на отдельную арену и враги лезут из порталов. Бои в реальном времени с активной паузой...

Сами уровни башни сделаны красиво, а многоуровневые - это вообще кайф спускаться по ним.

На стимдеке работает.

Я любитель пошаговых боев,что бы все ходили по очереди и было время подумать и отвлечься.
Играл в Tyranny и Pathfinder,но бои в реальном времени с открытым миром и загадками мне не понравились.
А эта игра мне понравилась.Она абсолютно коридорная,10 локаций(этажей) с телепортами и почти без головоломок и загадок, написано сколько на этаже боев и сундуков с лутом и на сколько % все найдено и пройдено.Простенько минималистичненько и казуальненько,но текстов и диалогов дофига.(если вам стыдно,что мало что читали,то читайте все и вы будете собой гордиться=) )
Бои скорее Hero Defense - из разных сторон из порталов выходят враги и нужно от них отбиваться.
РПГ - РТС не нравились,а эта игра понравилась.Вот так вот бывает.

Wer ein schönes rpg sucht ist hier richtig.
Schon lange kein so Endspanntes RPG gespielt. Und der Preis für grade mal 2 Euro Hammer.
Das Spiel ist aufgebaut wie die Rollenspiele der alten Schule. Man kann am Anfang Einstellen wie man starten will mit allen Helden oder ohne ob sie nach dem Tod Tod bleiben usw. Also viele Anpassungsmöglichkeiten so das man so Starten kann wie man will.

Das Spiel selbst hat eine schöne Story die ein ermutigen tut weiter zu Spielen . Man kann ganz wie bei alten rpg Charakteren anpassen Sachen schmieden usw. Gib viele Möglichkeiten die man mit der Zeit freischalten kann.

Schön ist auch das zu jeden Charakter eine Story ist die man lesen kann. Auch Nice ist das man im Dorf Sachen erweitern kann.

Das Kampf System ist auf Taktik ausgelegt. Man muss überlegen wie man seine Helden einsetzen muss. Man kann im Pause Modus oder Slow Modus spielen. Im Slow Modus läuft der Kampf weiter wären man Angriffe Zauber usw. Ausführen tut.

Die Grafik finde ich auch sehr schön gemacht man sieht hier die Liebe zum Detail. Musik passt aus super da schaut man sich gerne die Umgebung an.

Das einzige negative was ich finde ist das Aktionen manchmal nicht direkt ausgeführt werden oder verzögert, aber da kann man bei so ein Preis drüber hinwegsehen.

Fazit
Wer gerne Rpg im Pen an Paper style spielen will und nee schöne Story sucht kann hier zugreifen.

Es como manejar una pequeña party del wow en distintos dungeons y encounters con un solo player.

Tower of Time to moim zdaniem naprawdę solidna gra - 7/10, ale ma też niejedną wadę. Postaram się opisać co mi się w niej podobało , a co nie i czemu.

NA MINUS:
-postacie są zrobione w większości dość słabo i niekonsekwętnie
Kane: w założeniu szlachetny i doświadczony paladyn, który niestety często zachowuje się jak
niedoświadczony i rozkapryszony nastolatek
Maeve: chciwa, ale jednocześnie troskliwa, często miła, lojalna i całkiem sympatyczna - połączenie
cech nie występujące w naturze, lepszym rozwiązaniem byłoby uczynić ją łasą na klejnoty, a nie
ogólnie na wszelkie bogactwo
Aeric: doświadczony elficki mag, jednocześnie skupiony głównie na sobie i dobru elfów, jak na
czarodzieja dość krótkowzroczny
Rakhem: tępawy osiłek będący jednocześnie mistrzem run i bardzo dobrym kowalem - dziwne
połączenie, odrobina mądrości by mu nie zawadziła
Boron: łagodny mędrzec i poeta w połączeniu z DZIKIM wpadającym w szał bojowy barbarzyńcą ???
Whisper: dostojna, tajemnicza władająca sporą mocą, królowa tajemniczego ludu, czasami
bezsensownie złośliwa i głupio samolubna
Kaela: sympatyczna, inteligentna, wrażliwa i miła pani inżynier - moja ulubiona postać
-dyskusje czy też raczej kłótnie bohaterów - co druga rozmowa kończy się kompletnie niepotrzebną i dość naciąganą sprzeczką, ponieważ twórcy postanowili dać nam "wspaniałą" mechanikę relacji bohaterów i ich oddziaływania na drużynę, bez której grałoby się znacznie przyjemniej (prawdopodobnie pomysł wzięty z gier posiadających mechanikę podejmowania decyzji na podstawie głosowania drużyny, która wcale nie jest szczególnie lubiana przez wielu graczy)
-odwrócona wieża, w której wszystko jest we właściwej pozycji - myślę, że nie muszę tego tłumaczyć chociaż rozumiem czemu gra została w ten sposób zrobiona
-na dłuższą metę nudnawa mechanika walki - na niektórych etapach przechodziłem wszystkie walki kompletnie bezmyślnie, bo dobre wyposażenie i podstawowe techniki walki wystarczyły do bezproblemowego zwycięstwa

Na PLUS:
+grafika - różnorodne widoki, dobrze dopracowane szczegóły, przyjemne kolorki, nie najgorsze animacje (może tylko jest ich trochę mało); z drobnych wad to brak możliwości mocniejszego przybliżenia (nie tylko tyłka Maeve ;) ) oraz nadmiernie udziwnione zbroje bohaterów na późnym etapie rozgrywki
+fabuła (moim zdaniem bardzo ważna dla RPGa) - z małymi wyjątkami spójna i całkiem ciekawa, chociaż momentami dość przewidywalna
+muzyka - w porządku, raczej nieszkodliwe tło niż dziadostwo wymagające wyłączenia po 15 minutach gry
+system lewelowania przez schematy i budynki - całkiem przyjemny nie zmuszający gracza co chwilę do patrzenia ile ma "ekspa"
+wytwarzanie przedmiotów - dość ubogie, ale dające niezłe efekty i nie zbugowane jak w Skyrim; moim zdaniem to miła odmiana w porównaniu z grami gdzie jesteśmy w stanie złożyć z 5 przydatnych przedmiotów wymiatając każdą mapę z wszelkiego śmiecia (który oczywiście nosimy w ekwipunku aż do końca gry :D )
+umiejętności - prawie wszystkie przydatne, bardzo dobra opcja rozwoju każdej z nich w dwóch kierunkach i ogólnie ich rozwijanie (nie tylko czysto przez więcej mocy od np.: wyższego poziomu magi ognia jak w innych grach); mała wady trochę mało zaklęć i brak umiejętności przypisanych do przedmiotów
+poziom trudności - dość łatwy, ale wymagający czasem wykorzystania innych rozwiązań, jeśli oczywiście nie jest się ekspertem od taktycznych RTSów (mniej więcej połowa narzekań oceniających negatywnie grę)
+brak maniaków seksualnych w drużynie
+zagadki - może są na poziomie zdolnego 5 latka, ale przynajmniej nie wymagają umiejętności czytania w myślach twórców gry czy zaglądania co 5 sekund do solucji (w większości)

Podsumowując nie jest to może najlepszy drużynowy RPG w jakiego grałem (Dragonage jedynka czy Drakensang podobały mi się bardziej, Divinity Orginal Sin 2 i Neverwinter 2 mniej), ale jest całkiem niezły i dopracowany.
Polecam, chociaż bardziej do grania dla relaksu niż dla taktyków.
Pozdrawiam wszystkich, którzy dotarli aż tutaj.

Was going good for a bit - a different take on CRPG combat and a solid "what is this tower and why is it here" story line that hooked you in. I appreciated that it was fairly linear and that not every new character that joined the party required 10 fetch quests.

It would be cool to get some closure to the story - but the final level I guess decides to eliminate half your party so you're forced to upskill and equip the other party members to make progress - and I'm sure I can find something else to do.

I don't want to dissuade anyone from trying this for themselves. But screwing over my party composition on the last level is a ♥♥♥♥ move.

this game could be "good" if it was half as short.
maybe the story is decent, but i couldn't care less, as presentation of it is very lacking.
i'd also prefer pure "fantasy" instead of "science fantasy", but that's not really a detractor.

while gameplay (combat and supporting systems) is mostly solid, considering the game's length it inevitably becomes a chore.
i would also not recommend playing it on harder difficulties, as it becomes even more of a slog

Да, игра душная, из поколения проектов, в которые необходимо научиться играть и только потом уже концентрированно
решать задачи.
Сюжет? Да, просто нагромождение текста, как и во всяких игрульках от Обсидиан, Лариан, Биовар и тому подобных около изометрических проектах прошлого. Назовите мне хоть один не графоманский сюжет в РПГ? В игре, в принципе?
Таких - единицы.
Играл 2.5 часа и за это время прошла целая вечность. То есть, башня времени всё же как-то там работает.

Tower of Time really hooked me early on with its quite unique take on the combat -- real time battles that focus on positioning, line of sight and aggro management. It's a style of combat I'd love to see more games build on.

It kept me hooked for about the first half of the game, but honestly the back half was a slog. I started out aiming or 100% on every floor, but by about floor four or five the traipsing about and the samey battles lost me, and I started just mainlining toward the end credits. Overall it took me about 50 hours to finish on hard.

The plot is quite good, but the writing is not so great. Like the combat, by about half way through I largely lost interest in the details of the story.

It's very much a budget title, and considering it's often going on sale for about £1.50 it's worth a shot as long as you go in expecting a game that's got some interesting ideas but is a bit rough around the edges, and as long as you're ready for last leg of the game to become a bit of a fight against boredom.

This is one of those moments where I truly wish there was a "mixed" recommendation on steam. Anyway the game itself is fine. The first few hours are actually very entertaining, but after a while it's just the same stuff over and over again. It gets very repetitive, especially when the game is 90% combat. After a while it feels like a chore to play. I understand what they were going for, the game takes place in a tower so of course all the environments will look/feel the same, but I dont think it works in a game design point of view. Every area doesn't feel that much different. It all feels like you're stuck in an endless cycle. I had to drop the game halfway because I genuinely couldn't handle looking at the same scenery over and over again.

I really wanted to love this game because it works on a formula that I absolutely love. I love isometric RPGs but this one just didn't click for me.

I think it's fine if you get it on sale, so I'm not that disappointed, since i paid maybe 3 dollars for it. But I can't say i recommend it fully. Maybe it will work for you, but for me it's too repetitive

UPDATE: I finished it, and now I recommend it a little less. The combat isn't that great, and it gets boring over time, so you put in mods to keep the story going because the difficulty disappears and the TTK increases, and it turns into a punching bag simulator. Tactics completely disappear from about the third floor, and it's just spam trenches and other crap. The plot turned out to be interesting, but I was expecting something a little different. It's okay, but there's a lack of post-explanation for some decisions that sounded like “Maybe soon the heroes will understand how to help...” and so on in the game itself. BTW, I'll leave the old review as a reminder of how it felt at the beginning.

Probably one of the most interesting, unique, and dynamic tactical combat games I've seen in the party genre, one of the few games where it's fun to set the maximum difficulty, because here it really makes sense to change your gear, spells, and talents to suit the characteristics of the group of enemies you have to fight. (Well, minmaxing helps too, of course.)

I also liked the combat pause as a simple slow motion, it's much better than a complete time freeze.

And in general, the game has a very pleasant vibe: a hand-drawn environment that tells the story, and light ambient music in the background that is chill for the eyes and ears between battles.

The characters and plot are also generally pleasant. I would say that the story is somewhat light-hearted, which is sometimes better than the stories in AA and AAA projects. Overall, it reminded me of Grimrock.

In short, for fans of tactical party battles, I recommend it 100% (and don't forget to turn on maximum difficulty, it's not that hard, and normal mode will be boring)

Tower of Time is a very different cRPG with an interesting story, a few twists and turns, and a lot of combat. It is first and foremost a dungeon crawler so if you don't care to kill your way through a game, don't bother! But, if you don't mind a little hack-n-slash with an intriguing plot, give this one a try.

Along your journey you will explore ten floors of a mysterious, inverted tower, descending towards your goal. There are character choices to be made along the way and a lot of secrets to find and gear to choose from. Truthfully, the itemization in this game is far too vast for the scope of this game, and with the right power level, you will decimate everything in your path. I found myself not needing to use a "tank" character at all on Normal difficulty past the fourth floor, going full glass-cannon mode and utterly trivializing combat.

The overall atmosphere of the game is magical and generated a lot of curiosity. The music works just right. The slow introduction of weirdness and the blending of fantasy and sci-fi happens at an appropriate pace, drawing out the desire to see what's ahead more and more as you progress. I had a great time playing it, but I could definitely have done with less combat. Also, I do think that the game drags out quite a bit. I felt like this could have been wrapped up in 10 or 20 less hours tbh, but I can respect the lore/world they were trying to build too.

Give this one a try if you're a lover of cRPGs and looking for something a little offbeat from the more mainstream titles. I haven't played the sequel yet (Dark Envoy) but am considering seeing how it connects these games since the ending of this one was very thought-provoking.

I strongly recommended this game. It took a genre of which I'm not the most fond (real time with pause combat systems) and made me enjoy it to an extreme. This is an indie game with its requisite jank, but it has a very real amount of charm. In short, I recommend it as a 9/10 for min/maxers who also love a good story. Below is my full breakdown, including thoughts on the story, combat, buildcrafting and progression, and atmosphere and level design. The story kept me going. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay was enough for me to want to finish it, but the story really was amazing. Yes, there are some grammatical errors, along with malapropisms and the like, but I actually found myself not caring despite being the annoying guy who corrects grammar and punctuation all the time. The characters are well written enough that, despite the only voice acting being for the lore cutscenes, I was able to connect with and understand them. They all make sense, and their development throughout the story makes sense. There was no, "Wait, why is Thorin charging a bunch of orcs at the end of Hobbit 1 when he should be protecting the people he loves instead?" moment; I look forward to the responses that hot take will get. Every character had a distinct identity which changes logically as they grow and adjust in response to their mission. As someone who values character-driven stories that refuse to give up who characters are for a sensationalist approach, I found myself satisfied with the writing. The plot itself, in a general sense, is basic, but each floor has its own minor story, with all the story beats tying into each other well. The conclusion was right. I thought there would be a choice, but I think the way that they prevented the choice while enabling a struggle was the right approach; it didn't give up the characters' identities for the sake of the plot. Honestly, this was an 8/10 for me. I'd rate it higher, but the grammar stickler in me feels like 9/10 is too high. That said, I did really enjoy the story. It's the primary reason I'm writing a review immediately after finishing the game. Very few games have stories good enough to get me to immediately write a review. The only two that come to mind are Transistor and Warhammer 40000: Rogue Trader. So, *8/10*.

The combat system is a unique blend of things. It has options to use slow time or pause time, with slow being the default and what the devs recommend. Despite initially thinking full-on pausing would be better, I found myself preferring slow time quite quickly. The combat itself has a feeling that I have seen someone compare to Warcraft III's hero missions, and that appears quite apt. The way builds can drastically change up the playstyle to be more or less strategy-esque is also quite satisfying. Here's a quick summary of how it all works: You control four characters at once out of the seven available to unlock. Each character has a basic attack and can equip four abilities from a plethora unique to them. You can slow or pause time to aid in giving commands to different heroes (but not summoned creatures and structures), with the slow/pause time menu providing a tactical view displaying the selected hero's abilities, health, mana, attack range, and cast range. Success in battle hinges upon managing enemy aggro (who an enemy is targeting) and the positioning of your units. In the early game, you will be dependent on taunting enemies with a tank or otherwise generating threat ("threat" being the metric used to determine who an enemy unit finds to be a more important target to attack). If your backline is too threatening, they will be rushed, so you need to find a way to force enemies to engage tankier targets and leave your vulnerable damage-dealers alone. That said, your team composition can include all tank/melee units, all casters, all backline dps, all battlefield manipulators, all summoners, or any mix of the lot. I went with a primary tank and as many summons as I could generate until the summons were plentiful enough to tank for me. This strategy had me cackling when I saw water elementals doing more damage than actual damage caster heroes. I pivoted to a hybrid of summoners and casters at the end, and the boss shredding was superb.

Please note that I played on the second hardest difficulty as the hardest one was very much not advised my the review I saw before buying the game (see Mortismal Gaming's review on Youtube for more insights, but bear in mind that he is speaking of a years-old version of the game, and the devs have fixed up and improved the game a lot). The combat is unique and niche but genuinely quite interesting, with a few different objectives and encounter types, so I give it a *9/10*.

个人不推荐，打了一堆无趣的战斗后给剧情挤点牙膏说两句话然后又是一堆战斗循环，每一场战斗都在面对四面八方涌来的敌人（除了boss战），冲锋不能用来打断只能拿来赶路，不然对方就会一直寻你后排而你手短只能慢慢爬过去打人，主角团不会选择任何有利地形迎战，最好的地形近战也得左右跑解决靠近的敌人

Além disso, a mistura maluca de estilos de combate que o jogo traz deu um resultado muito bom, que não se estende demais e oferece a medida certa de estratégia e divertimento. O jogo também traz um nível de customização tão granular com seus sistemas de confecção de itens que aqueles que apreciam isso farão a festa aqui, como eu fiz. Além disso, a história é muito boa, e tem bastante referências a Tolkien, o que me faz ter um certo viés.
[b] Pontos Negativos [/b]: Algumas vezes as descrições de texto te farão imaginar coisas que o jogo não representa visualmente, o que é compreensível considerando a natureza de seu desenvolvimento, e algumas vezes o descrito pelo texto destoa muito do que é mostrado visualmente. Existem alguns bugs menores no que se trata da compleição de cada um dos níveis da torre, mas nada que você não resolva sozinho procurando nos fóruns de discussão aqui na Steam.

Fabuła całkiem niezła, mechanika z czasem zaczyna mocno nudzić podczas walk. Trochę za mało możliwości rozwoju bazy i bohaterów przez co wdzierała się czasem monotonia. Nie gra się jednak źle. Ciekawe zagadki chęć zdobycia poziomów na 100%. Mały plusik dla polskich twórców z małym budżetem którzy sporo wykrzesali. Gra mi trochę przypominała mieszankę Diablo 1 a zwłaszcza lokalizacje wieży i schodzenie pietrami niżej oraz Baldurowy styl budowania drużyny i rozgrywania walki choć można było wybierać w tej kwest ja zostałem przy klasycznym metrixie z slowmotion i zarządzeniem w tej sferze. Jednak czegoś tu brakowało 6/10

Tower of Time gerçekten güzel bir RPG. Zamanı yavaşlatıp durdurabildiğiniz taktiksel savaş sistemiyle öne çıkıyor. Başlarda çok keyif aldım ama uzun süre oynayınca sürekli aynı şeyleri yapmak biraz sıkıcı gelmeye başladı.

En sevdiğim kısım haritalar oldu; her haritada farklı tarzda bulmacalarla karşılaşmak oyuna çeşitlilik katıyor.

İlk bölümlerde yönlendirme sistemi çok başarılı, ne yapmanız gerektiğini net şekilde gösteriyor. Ancak 5–6. katlardan sonra işler karmaşıklaşıyor; bazı nesneleri görmek zorlaşıyor. Haritada işaretli olsa bile oraya gidince tıklamak resmen eziyet oluyor — üstüne başka şey çıkıyor ya da nesne küçücük kalıyor.

It's really meh. The first 6-8 hours are pretty reasonable, but then combat becomes incredibly tedious and repetitive, and the story isn't good enough to warrant the length of the game (estimated 35+ hours, I certainly won't see the end of it). It's fine if you're willing to devote a handful of hours on something that you've gotten on sale, but at any price point above like $5, it's not really worth it, and I'm a longtime fan of isometric RPGs

Edit: I finished it so you don't have to. The story is fine, but the combat remains incredibly boring and repetitive and actively gets in the way of any enjoyment the story brings. Worth $3, I guess, but hard pass on it at anything resembling normal pricing

I'm so happy I finally got around to playing this one. This is probably one of the first Real-Time-Pause CRPGS (If that's what this is even considered) that I have played and the combat just felt great. You typically have 4 characters you're in control of and it never gets overwhelming and the build variety you can have is insane. The story was pretty great and I really hope they continue on in this universe. You will have plenty of combat throughout this game which feels a bit boring sometimes but that's mostly due to your party steamrolling until you hit that next spike. If you're looking for a good isometric CRPG I would highly recommend this game to anyone. It also goes on sale pretty cheap and often. Enjoy!

Definitiv positiv überrascht von dem Spiel, da ich noch nie davon gehört hatte.
Das Kampfsystem ist auf jeden Fall mal was neues und teilweise fordern, auch wenn manches Gear es dann wesentlich vereinfacht.
Für 3 Euro beim Sale kann man mit dem Spiel echt nix falsch machen.
