一款可以與朋友同樂的俯瞰視角射擊遊戲。
首先可以一起遊玩主線劇情的線上合作遊戲我覺得是加分的，其開槍操作沒什麼缺點，遊戲養成強化機制也很豐富，像素風的美術更是讓我很喜歡。
但遊戲其他相關機制可以說是災難來形容，玩到第二關開始我與我朋友就有點不太想玩了。

-存檔點無法恢復HP也無法拯救任何一位隊友
-隊友死亡了需要獲得珠子並找到占卜師復活 (為何不直接設定成找到珠子直接復活就好了?)
-遊戲內附有掠食者怪物，會咬掉玩家的手臂、腿部義肢，只要被咬掉只能找到義肢修復站才能恢復，簡直折磨 (如果可以攜帶備用義肢就不會如此糟糕)

-全體玩家綁視窗，無法分開行動
-無法觀看其他玩家的HP
-恢復HP道具總是只放置一個，不夠兩人使用

遊戲整體是能玩的，但遊戲難度必須降低，必須說連「一般」難度玩起來都很磨難，如果玩家們在一個糟糕的點存了檔那麼接下來很容易全軍覆沒，你甚至得花更多的時間去復活你的其他隊友。
總之整體很折磨人，折扣90%不是沒有原因的，真的是誰玩誰倒楣。

9年前在看寅子直播试玩后，觉得挺有趣入了手，尤其那会先玩过一部爽游broforce，对这类2d像素风的射击游戏略带好感。但实际玩过后，你会发现游戏中缺胳膊断腿这个独特”新奇“的设定真的很傻逼，属于变相的增加游戏时长，尤其是早期类似陆地食人鱼的单位和后面的迅猛龙是可能触发强制断臂这个机制，纯便秘。因为当你断肢后必须花钱修补，或者直接死亡用球复活，但这个游戏的金钱和特殊道具获取非常有限，除了酒馆赌博，靠正常刷怪你只能升满一个角色以及两三把武器。当然，就通关游戏以及解锁隐藏结局而言，这个金钱量是足足够用的。但就这类几小时的线性游戏而言，更在乎的是爽感，具体而言就是武器的多样化以及角色和道具技能，后者在游戏里很单一（尤其是角色技能真的很拉跨，虽然是全屏秒怪型），主要是前者。你会发现加入了很多有意思的武器，但并不能解锁出更花样的玩法，比如雷电、喷火枪、锯轮以及黑洞枪，甚至很离奇的是一般最简单的左轮枪（可能有翻译问题，没玩英文）花样才是最多的。另外抛开花样以及最基础的伤害和射速问题，最有问题的是黑洞枪这把武器，伤害范围判定有较大的延迟，还有意料之外的bug，在后面的地图里可以将建筑单位吸到角色附近造成卡位，导致退游从上个存档点重来，体验极差。
最后一点也是关于武器和切换角色机制，如果想要达成隐藏成就，需要使用升满的速射枪在5s内杀死boss，虽然1s就可以，但偶然发现在最后会有个强制切换不具有该道具的角色（角色之间道具武器和强化属性均独立），并未探究顺序判定是何种机制，不过确实强制阻碍了达成隐藏的过程。

I helped kickstart this game, played it when it was released, and enjoyed it. I decided to try it again after nearly a decade gone by and. . .I still enjoy it.

You know the saying "style over substance?" In this case, style compliments substance. The gameplay in and of itself is a fine twin stick shooter with some twists but nothing to write home about; but the pixel art is absolutely gorgeous and the attention to detail is one of the best I've ever seen. Sure, other pixel games have destructible environments but these ones break down instead of explode in one hit. Add in a fantastic soundtrack, gorgeous dieselpunk environments, and each floor its own unique setting and you've got yourself a game that's better than the mixed reviews suggest.

A lot of negative reviews seem to come from bugs and game breakers which is fair criticism, but so far I haven't encountered any on my second playthrough. As for the 6 hour runtime, Tower 57 isn't too short for me, given the price and I'd rather have a game I wish was longer than a game that outstays its welcome.

At discount you're getting a gorgeous pixel art experience for the price of a cup o' joe, so it's well worth taking the risk. There are twin stick shooters that have better mechanics and others that have more depth; but few that are as gorgeous and unique as Tower 57.

보통 평가가 노란색이면 기본적 완성도에 하자가 있는데 이게임은 놀랍게도 완성도가 높아요. 그래픽 좋고 사운드 괜찮고 조작성 좋고 타격감 좋고 세계관분위기 매력있고 개성있는 다양한 무기 좋고 적 무기 뺏어쓰는 시스템도 재밌고 다 좋은데... 딱 하나 레벨디자인이 잘못돼서 재미가 없네요. 무의미한 빈공간이 너무 많습니다. 디아블로3이나 창세기전2가 떠오르네요. 게임맵은 재미를 주기 위한 목적으로 계획적으로 설계되어야 하는데, 아무생각없이 크게만 만들어서 텅 비어있고 방간의 연결구조와 순서도 이상하고 재미없고 의미없는 이동시간이 너무 많습니다.

This game is a tragedy. The pixel art is fantastic, but most of my playtime was spent trying to get the game to work properly, with lots of weird scaling issues, & the game window refusing to move from the bottom right corner of the screen when in widowed mode. Most of the remaining time was spent slogging through the lengthy, text heavy opening to a story a can't really remember & don't really care about. I can't hear the characters voice lines properly because they are drowned out by the music & there is no volume slider for character voices. The game forces you through an awkward opening segment instead of doing what it should do, & dumping you straight into the action so that you can start having fun. I really wanted to like this, but the game just didn't seem to want me to have fun. There's probably a solid game here buried under a mountain of issues & annoyances. A few updates & I think this thing could really shine. But here it sits, cold & alone, amongst the mouldering piles of Steams unloved abandonware.

前言：BUG频繁拉低体验，低分主要原因在于游戏存在多种恶性bug，请保持随手存档的习惯，不然容易心态炸裂。游戏的恶性bug包括但不限于：模型卡死动不了，读档后移速降低，解密要素的手臂有时会出现无能量，导致无法解密的情况。

　伴随着怪物的嘶吼声，我被拦腰截成了两半。但失去双腿的我并没有感到沮丧，发达的医学分分钟可以给我续一个更刚猛的下半身。我接下来需要做的就是拖着残驱爬到最近的身体修理站——当然，用“爬”这个字来形容可能有些不准确，因为在这段路上我还需要腾出双手持枪向涌来的怪物们射击。所以严格来说，这段路我其实是用发达的八块腹肌，像毛毛虫一样蠕动过去的。而且我一边蠕动，裸露在外的肠子还在一边喷射暗红色的液体，也不知道究竟是血，还是翔……

这是《巨塔57》给我留下印象最深刻的一幕。作为一款尽最大努力还原上个世纪八十年代Amiga电脑风格的俯视角射击游戏，它操作紧凑、内容翔实、战斗爽快、音画淳朴。从那个年代一路走来的老玩家很容易从中发现令人怀念得热泪盈眶的闪光点，而更加年轻一些的玩家也能够从一些诡异而新奇的细节中找到乐趣。不过遗憾的是，网络联机方面的技术问题以及一些不友好的玩法设定，又经常让我在游玩的过程中焦躁不安。

游戏在视觉表现上古典而粗犷，但内容方面却出人意料地扎实精致。开局你需要在六位风格各异的角色当中选择扮演三人。生命值耗尽的角色会永久死亡，当三个角色全部死绝，游戏也就随之失败。战斗、解谜和探索是这款游戏最重要的三大组成要素，它们在各自的设计层面上均采用了相对传统的模型——虽说基本上都没啥新意，但也都打磨得挺流畅。

爽快的战斗是这款游戏最大的亮点，而这种快感在很大程度上来源于快节奏的操作、动感清脆的音效、以及较高的场景可破坏性。完备的武器装备系统则让战斗部分在爽快之余也不乏多样性和策略深度。冲锋枪、霰弹枪、来复枪、火焰喷射器，各种风格的常规武器都应有尽有。

此外，你还可以直接将刚拆毁的敌方炮台扛在自己脑袋上使用，可以把刚打死的油桶怪当做火箭筒为己所用……这类奇葩武器虽说没有标准武器稳定可靠，但是在特定情境下却往往能发挥妙用，其夸张的想象力和滑稽的表现效果也时常令我忍俊不禁。

值得一提的是，键鼠操控在这款游戏中的体验远远优于手柄。这一方面是因为在精确控制射击方向上，鼠标天然就比手柄摇杆更加灵活；另一方面则是因为这款游戏的手柄辅助瞄准做得非常蹩脚，距离稍微远一点的敌人都很难打准……

《巨塔57》中的大多数武器都可以在城镇中的商店进行改造，从而强化伤害、射速、弹夹容量等方面的数值。这款游戏给我留下最深印象的“断肢”系统，本质上其实也是装备改造体系的一部分，因为你不但可以在身体修理站修复自己损失的双腿或双手，而且还能给各个部位进行强化，从而获得攻击力、移动速度等方面的加成。

然而很可惜，这种疯狂而大胆的设定并没有很好地落地到充实有效的玩法机制上。不论是身体改造的功能强化，还是断肢的实际影响都显得太过平庸——它们不外乎是给主角在特定情况下加了一个Buff或Debuff。

充实而精致的地图设计则是战斗之外的另一大亮点。游戏的城镇区域不但生机勃勃，而且包含了大量可互动元素。你可以从海报、新闻面板、广告牌上获取许多这个世界的细节信息，可以在旅店和商场等功能性设施达成特定需求，还能够在酒吧和形形色色的人玩“扔飞镖”、“钉木桩”等小游戏。地城部分的地图设计则往往兼具目标明确的谜题挑战和自由探索的游玩价值。美中不足的是所有机关、怪物、宝箱的位置都是固定的，再加上这款游戏的总流程时间原本就不算长——从长远来看，这类关卡会比较缺乏重复游玩价值。

　和许多上个世纪八九十年代的老游戏一样，《巨塔57》的难度绝对和“亲民”二字不搭边。紧凑而严苛的战斗节奏、充满恶意的机关陷阱、角色永久死亡等设定为这款游戏树立了一个不低的通关门槛。高难度本身无可厚非，但是部分刻意为了强化死亡惩罚而设计的游戏规则，就有些过于蛮不讲理了。

比如在检查点的设置上，大多数的关卡仅仅只会在关卡入口处和BOSS战之前设定检查点。考虑到仔细探索完一张地图的时间又至少都需要15分钟——对于现在的绝大多数玩家而言，死亡所导致的进度损失实在太过严重了。而BOSS战之前的检查点又经常设置得不给玩家留任何回头的余地。例如有一次我的血条在BOSS战前已经所剩无几了，我希望在大战前折回去购买血包，但是回头路却已经随着检查点的到来被彻底锁死……

　这款游戏最多支持两人一起游玩，事实上使用不同风格武器的两位玩家互相配合，不但能发挥出远超单刷的战斗力，也能大幅提高解谜破关的效率。许多在单人模式下很难完成的挑战，在两人配合下也将会变得切实可行。从这个意义上而言，我认为合作游玩才是在这款游戏中获得最大满足感的方式。然而很不幸，这款游戏至今都无法正常使用网络联机功能，如果你找不到一起线下同屏游玩的好基友，那么共斗的乐趣恐怕就与你无缘了。

至于叙事方面，《巨塔57》讲述了一个反乌托邦题材，而且还略带悬疑元素的故事。根据你游玩方式的不同，游戏最终还会延伸出几个不同的结局。虽说和大多数同类型游戏一样，故事并不是这部作品的重点——但是以调节剂的标准来看，《巨塔57》在这方面的表现肯定在平均水准之上。

结语
　　《巨塔57》是一款尽最大努力还原上个世纪八十年代Amiga电脑风格的俯视角射击游戏。它操作紧凑、内容翔实、战斗爽快、音画淳朴，是老玩家怀旧、新玩家尝鲜的良品。不过很遗憾，网络联机方面的技术问题，恶性BUG以及频繁的模型卡死和一些不友好的玩法设定又让这部作品的魅力大打折扣。

Cuando era chico "compré" The Chaos Engine para PC y quedé totalmente fascinado. Nunca había jugado algo así: a pesar de ser un título relativamente modesto, los gráficos, la ambientación steampunk y la jugabilidad me volaron la cabeza. Con los años volví muchas veces a jugarlo, siempre con la misma admiración.

Años después me encontré con la campaña de Kickstarter de Tower 57, que prometía ser un twin-stick shooter inspirado en aquel clásico. En su momento pensé en ser backer y pasar por caja, pero como además de pobre soy asquerosamente tacaño, nunca lo hice. Pasaron los años y me olvidé por completo.

Hasta que hace unos días lo encontré a $26 pesos (poco más de USD 0.50) y ya no tuve excusas para no comprarlo. Sobre el papel tenía todo para ser un juegazo.

Pero lo jugué por 3 horas... y lo terminé desinstalando.

Lo bueno

* Gráficos pixel-art espectaculares.
* Ambientación estilo años 30 o 40 (¿Art Decó?) muy bien lograda.
* Variedad de enemigos.

Lo malo

* Los niveles son larguísimos, con pocos puntos de guardado. Si perdés una vida, lo mejor es reiniciar desde el último save.
* La dificultad está mal balanceada: en modo normal la mayoría de los enemigos son insufribles.
* La mecánica de los tres personajes está mal aprovechada: en la práctica son como tres vidas extra, pero no funcionan como personajes intercambiables. Cambiar de personaje tiene penalización y no siempre se puede hacer.
* Si morís, perdés todos los upgrades de ese personaje hasta que lo revivís (cosa que es complicada porque los objetos para revivir son caros o escasos). Al final, conviene más recargar un save que seguir jugando.
* Siempre estás corto de plata: los enemigos largan muy poco dinero y los recursos escasean.
* El juego se vuelve aburrido rápidamente.
* La mecánica de perder las piernas es graciosa una vez... y después se vuelve molesta. Reducís la velocidad al mínimo y quedás condenado. No suma nada.

Una idea con mucho potencial con una estética pixel-art hermosa, pero con un diseño de juego mal pensado.
No vale la pena, ni aunque esté en oferta.

i do like retro pixel games and this one looks great with fun on it but there is like tiny issues on it
1-weapons design looks great and upgrades too but some weapons i thought its going to be strong in late game but feels weak and useless like black hole weapon
2-some map you can get stuck on by getting killed in boss and get stuck can't even move or environments
mini games are fun as hell - lore in game explain well
i would give the game 7/10
-3 negative is late weapons feels weak - getting stuck in some silly environment is stupid - achiev is sometimes bugged so you have to restart the game and replay the game again until its works.

游戏画面像素风格，其实我本人玩这种像素风格的小游戏非常少，但是整体感觉画面不是很干净利落，场景可破坏物体很多，但是没啥用，视觉效果突出。但是场景破坏效果十足的坏处，破损物体较多，散落一地，导致场景显得很混乱。

不知道是不是游戏风格的原因，我个人觉得这是朋克风格，是不是赛博朋克我就不太清楚了。
现代生化人+80年代复古风这种混搭设定。顺便一提游戏的音乐，某些场景略微单调，但是整体以电子风格为主，算是中规中矩吧。

游戏的玩法，《孤胆枪手》、《雷电》、《合金弹头》这类横版、竖版、俯视角射击游戏的玩法
加入一些RPG元素，以及小沙盒地图。场景地图分支做得不错，有些隐藏奖励，地图中也有很多可调查物品，多是一些背景和剧情的介绍。rpg设定2，还配有小地图，可查看任务位置。rpg设定3，城镇里面有许多小游戏，npc可以对话，还蛮有意思的。rpg设定4，人物升级和武器升级系统。地图中还有解密要素。开始选择三个人进行游戏，人物死了之后，要用琥珀球才能复活，请务必小心死亡。某一关卡中还有载具设定，有点致敬合金弹头的意思。

起初人物选择：黑帮、科学家、警官、乞丐、外交官、间谍，对应不同的武器，以及全屏大招的不同效果，每个人物的升级都是分开的这一点略微蛋疼。可能要适应一个人物死了之后要道具才能复活的设定，我玩的是黑手党通关。因为汤普森机枪很强，建议升级。还有机关炮台爆出的机关头，升级之后三段散射攻击，贴脸打很强。其余的武器我都不太推荐升级，感觉很鸡肋，千万不要升级那个火焰攻击的效果，全屏火焰看不清敌人和弹道，还烧伤自己。建议升级穿透子弹。

一些小问题：
进入剧情场景，有时候强行锁门，无法回到之前场景
汉化有点问题，字体都重叠在一起了

Boss战设定可以说是这类游戏的基本大件了。
每关都有关底boss战设定，重点讲一下血汗工厂的关底boss，开始攻击时，建议直接一个大招，清掉旁边两个炮台，然后用左右快速横移按键躲避子弹，不推荐走路横移躲避，因为，人物建模是竖着的原因，子弹命中判定很大，总是迷之中弹，两边的炮台箱子里有弹药和医药箱，注意一下还是很好过的。其余的BOSS还是多用横移快速闪避以及大招没啥难度。

这款小游戏我还是十分推荐的，因为价格便宜，游戏时间也不会很长。让人觉得恰当好处，RPG元素的加入也让这款游戏焕发了新鲜的玩法和深度。多种人物的选择和武器升级也让多周目可玩性增加。支持本地合作，多人联机我暂时没有测试，不知道效果如何。推荐喜欢合金弹头那种射击类和本地合作的小伙伴购买。

История рассказывает о группе из трёх персонажей на ваш выбор, которые собираются проникнуть в уединённую Башню 57, чтобы раскрыть её тайны и изменить свою (и не только) судьбу. Вам предстоит пройти множество уровней, наполненных врагами, ловушками и секретами. Особенностью игры является возможность выбора различных персонажей с уникальными навыками, а также система прокачки и улучшения оружия. Основной геймплей сосредоточен на стрельбе: любой из персонажей умеет стрелять, делать быстрый рывок (полезный для уклонения) и использовать специальный инструмент, который можно менять прямо во время прохождения уровня. Боевая система до боли простая и знакомая — стреляйте по врагам и уклоняйтесь от их атак.

В игре также есть кооперативный режим для двоих игроков, что делает её отличным вариантом для совместного прохождения.

Стильная пиксельная графика в ретро-стиле с яркими, насыщенными цветами создаёт ностальгическую атмосферу, при этом выглядя свежо. Детализированные уровни, разнообразные враги и эффектные визуальные эффекты делают игру визуально привлекательной. Звуковое оформление выполнено в ретро-стиле с динамичной музыкой, которая отлично дополняет напряжённую атмосферу боя. Звуковые эффекты достаточно реалистичны и не выбиваются из общего стиля.

Подытожу:
Tower 57 — очень яркий и достойный инди-проект. Несмотря на некоторую сложность, он предлагает множество часов увлекательного и динамичного геймплея. Цена не кусается, а по скидке выходят вообще копейки — всем рекомендую.

Сюжет посередній: не щось неймовірне, але місцями дійсно цікаві ідеї.
Техничний стан гри поганий. Краш гри під час завантаження збережень, серйозні проблеми з клічінгом, іноді з'являються сильні порушення роботі звуку — гра починає просто видавати сильні високочастотні звуки замість ігрових. Одне з найнеприємніших вражень — під час одного з проходжень гри, майже під самий кінець сюжетки, файл збереження знову крашнувся, через що я просто не міг продовжити гру.
Так як гра від інді-розробника, та з вкрай малими продажами, скоріше за все ніхто над виправленням цих проблем давно не працює, тому майте на увазі вищевказані проблеми гри перед її купівлею.
Але в усьому іншому, та й загалом, гра дуже навіть непогана, особливо якщо проходити одним разом, без виходів та збережень.

Концовка убила. Очень хороший аркадный шутер в стиле старой контры на древние приставки типа нинтендо систем с секретами как в думе. По моему лишнее только давать команду из 3х персонажей, сменяющих друг друга после смерти. Можно играть в кооперативе. Сюжет забавный, ориентированный на политику, критикует тоталитарную власть корпорации над народом, посаженым на положение безвольного мяса ниже рабов. И Маханя называет такое положение дел искуплением. Может тут есть вариант как убить её, но у меня не вышло.

Dobra rozgrywka, elementy RPG, upgrade ciała jak w Syndicate, upgrade broni, 3 postacie ogrywane jednocześnie. Stylizowana grafika coś stylu Bioshocka. Świętna muzyka i trochę hazardu w postaci mini gierek w mieście, klimat prohibicji. Postacie mają fajne wstawki mówione jak w Duke Nukem. Bardzo dobra gieka, trochę mnie zaskoczyła :D

Old school top down shooter. Not as bad as most from back in 80s/90s but still pretty bad.

It's a mostly fun game, but it's too confusing. You get three characters, and can switch between them, but only if you have enough special power, which you can only get by killing enemies, which is inefficient if you need to change immediately to prevent one from dying. Or if you need to change when you find a medpack to heal one of your characters. By the time I got the gist of how this system really worked, two of my characters were dead.

The only way to revive them is by finding orbs, and giving them to a fortune teller. These fortune tellers are a rare sight and are usually hidden to boot.

You get money to buy upgrades for your characters and your guns. These upgrade booths are also very rare. And if you lose that gun, its gone for good, and the hundreds of mula you spent on it. All but one gun stink by the way.

There's a few bugs I encountered, all during the same boss fight, where I got stuck in the wall, and the most teasy bug of all time- there's health packs off to the side, but for some reason you are blocked by an invisible force from walking over there during the fight. It's a hard fight and I'm pretty sure they were intended for use during the fight, but they're just there to taunt you.

The gameplay is kinda bullet hell, but more random. Eventually it devolves to walking into an area, fight the 2-4 large enemies, and a group of smaller enemies. And each time you kill one of the large enemies, it spawns another group of the small ones. It's tedious and boring, but it gives you lots of cash at least...

That's fine and dandy. It wasn't until they introduce hacking that this game really tanks. They give you the worst, most confusing tutorial of all time in which they just throw words at you. Then you go into hacking, and you have 10 seconds to do what, I am unsure, but I do it wrong every time, so I got stuck, The hacking glove has ammo to it, so the part I was at, I was stuck with a saver, so I would have to reload to try again. But what if I didn't have ammo? What if there wasn't a saver? I find it very likely there would be scenarios like that coming up, so I said the heck with this game.

这游戏给我恶心坏了。
不好玩也就罢了，好几个成就都是坏的，做不出来，还要修改文件。
最后还有一个成就一直卡着，恶心死了。

一、老赌棍成就。
巨塔57的老赌棍成就要求在猜杯子游戏里输掉500块。
如果一开始就一直用100块赌，输5次就不会出现问题。
如果用20块、50块来赌，就会导致进程卡在490或者470，这可能是因为程序要求下一次输的钱恰好是10块（490/500）或者30块（470/500），成就才会跳出。如果超过了500块，输的钱就不会计入，成就就跳不出来。

4.然后重新开一个档赌一次20（实际上会输10块）。
我尝试过，如果用的是旧档，修改是不起作用的，所以必须开一个新档。
改成10块之后，你会明显感觉新档杯子换的速度变慢了，赌输了之后就正好从490跳到500，成就就会跳出。

二、箱子成就
箱子成就不会跳出的原因是，箱子的ID都统一写成0或者2。
这就导致即便你开完了所有的箱子，有的箱子也不会被识别成不同的箱子，这也会导致没有办法跳出成就。

如果有三个就分别命名为

如果有四个就分别命名为：

以此类推，找到几个就按照顺序命名下去。

[h1]Tower 57 — дизельпанкова ретро швидкість[/h1]

Невеличка гра у жанрі Run 'n' gun з видом зверху. Обираємо трьох персонажів з шести, які є нашими «життями» та починаємо пробиватись на вершину башти. З кожним рівнем відкриваються нові вороги, а також можна знайти нову зброю. Персонажі самі по собі відрізняються тільки спорядженням, але воно може бути передано іншим героям (наприклад після смерті). Зброю, як і персонажів, можна поліпшувати. При чому з людьми це веселіше, наші поліпшення — це оновлення частин тіла на механічні. Навіть візуально зміни помітні.

Геймплей простий і тим самим веселий. Майже усе що ми робимо, це біжимо вперед та стріляємо. Іноді ще розв’язуємо загадки, але то більш якщо хочеться пошукати тайні кімнати чи секрети. Деякі вороги дуже прості самі по собі, а деякі смертельні, яких краще не підпускати. Є монстри що можуть відірвати герою ноги, тоді треба швидко повзти до найближчого медцентру за новими кінцівками і не вмерти від кровотечі.

Сюжет у гри якийсь наче є, але він дуже простий. Світ описується через термінали з новинами та різними точками інтересу. Але то мало сенсу все одно має, все ж гра про веселу стрільбу тому історія для галочки.

У гри є кооператив, але я проходив самостійно. Проблем з цим не було, може тільки з напарником деякі місця будуть легшими. Гравців у гри немає, тому це тільки якщо з кимось купити разом.

Загалом мені гра сподобалась, вона коротка та весела, на знижках за 40 гривень себе виправдала. Рекомендую, якщо подобаються такі ретро шутери, бо візуально усе виглядає прекрасно.

With some lovely modern pixel art and plenty of nods to old Amiga run-n-gun games, Tower 57 absolutely looks the part.

However, there are some serious game breaking bugs which hamper a wholly positive and fun playing experience.

I recommend this one only if you are willing to put up with restarting from earlier save points due to the unfixed issues in the game.

Tower 57 es un entretenido juego de disparos (Twin-Stick Shooter) con ambientación steampunk, en el que tomamos el control de un grupo de agentes del Ministerio de Información, cuya misión será infiltrarse en la enigmática Torre 57, una metrópolis vertical que se encuentra bajo el yugo del régimen opresor liderado por "Madre" y sus hijos Rómulo y Remo. Los detalles de la trama se irán desvelando mediante puntos de prensa e información que encontraremos en nuestro acalorado ascenso a la cima de la Torre, atravesando cloacas, núcleos urbanos, laboratorios, zonas industriales o mansiones elitistas, siempre plagadas de enemigos.

[h2]Jugabilidad / Apartado técnico[/h2]
La jugabilidad de Tower 57 es como he comentado la de un Twin-Stick shooter (con un jostick movemos al personaje y con el otro direccionamos el arma). Se trata de un juego dividido en niveles muy variados, con un apartado pixel art bastante atractivo y que apuesta por la exploración de escenarios amplios, con muchas salas secretas y recompensas. Los combates a base de tiros serán abundantes, con gran variedad de enemigos y jefes finales. Tower 57 nos permitirá elegir hasta 3 personajes de un total de 6. Cuando uno muere, será inmediatamente sustituido por el siguiente, pero si todos mueren perderemos y tendremos que volver a cargar partida. Algo curioso es que los enemigos pueden desmembrarnos, dejándonos cojos o mancos. El arsenal de armas es amplio, pudiendo llevar hasta 2, además de una herramienta que nos otorga una habilidad especial y un poder para limpiar a los enemigos del mapa rápidamente. Tendremos la posibilidad de mejorar tanto nuestras armas favoritas como las partes del cuerpo biónicas de nuestros agentes, mejorando sus atributos.

[h2]Valoración[/h2]
Tower 57 me ha parecido un juego bastante entretenido de jugar, con mucha variedad y acción constante. La trama quizás queda en un segundo plano, invitando más a disparar mucho y pensar poco. Es un juego muy enfocado al cooperativo y recomiendo jugarlo con un amigo, pero pasarlo en solitario también ofrece una experiencia entretenida y disfrutable. Completarlo al 100% me ha llevado unas 18 horas, pasándomelo unas 2 veces. Los logros relacionados con los coleccionables están buggeados y requieren modificar unos archivos de texto para que salten correctamente al encontrar los cofres secretos. Funciona estupendamente en Steam Deck.

Everything about this should have been a slam dunk. I was expecting an isometric shooter/fighter/beat em up like Ember Knights. And for a hot minute, it was - navigating sewers and underground tunnels and those were fun. But I was losing my patience when it turned into a metroidvania and I had to figure out where I was going. We spent far too much time trying to find the next section getting bogged down in trying to find the next bit of story to get to the action. While the graphics were good and I enjoyed the theme of the game, the gameplay was also kinda clunky. Some of the cool things in the promo video on this page were further into the game and I wasn't enjoying myself enough to continue to get to that point. And honestly, I only gave this game the time of day at all to begin with, because of the online coop which I played with a friend. And didn't really do anything to increase my enjoyment with the game.

Me llamo la atención asiq lo compre y se lo regale a uno de mis esbirros. Lo intentamos jugar pero estaba super bug el juego. Se quedaba bug y no podías seguir avanzando o se trababan los pj. Terminas no entendiendo nada y como mucho jugaras unos 40 min antes de enterrarlo en el olvido eterno. Buena idea, lindo juego y todo eso pero no sirve y no es divertido con tantos problemas y bugs. Tener q reiniciar la partida a cero por quedarte trabado es realmente una tontería absurda.

NO RECOMENDADO PARA CO OP NI PARA JUGAR SOLO.

I am 32 years old.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.

Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.

With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.

After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.

Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.

Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.

Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Tower 57 is a simple, colourful top-down shooter with stunning pixel art graphics. You’re an agent sent to figure out what’s the deal with the dystopian Tower 57, which you do by shooting your way through its floors, unlocking items and upgrading your character.

The game is rather short and straight forward, only around 5 levels or so, however they are packed with secrets for you to find on your journey. I like how despite having linear progression you’re not guided through the levels and it’s your prerogative to explore the floors on your own. You also have a hub world between missions with plenty side activities to do.

The game has a lot of details, the satirical dystopian plot and writing was unique and consistently got chuckles out of me. I also very much enjoyed the highly destructible environment.

The combat was okay, very fast paced and flashy for sure, however it was pretty poorly balanced. Early on I unlocked a weapon which easily shredded through most enemies and bosses so I rarely used the rest of my arsenal. Enemies dealt reasonable damage but sometimes they would suddenly rip you apart in seconds.

The game has two interesting mechanics which unfortunately weren’t implemented to their full potential. You pick three out of eight characters to play and when one dies you move onto the next, with the ability to revive the dead character later on. You can also lose limbs from certain attacks which you can buy mechanical replacements for. There is however no real incentive to go through with these options since it’ll cost you a lot, and with plenty checkpoints it’s far more convenient to just restart when your main character dies or loses an arm. The presence of these systems doesn’t take from the experience but it fails to add much either.

The graphics are some of the best pixel art I’ve seen in a game, with a mix of retro and modern aesthetics. Not just the levels but items, UI and loading screens all have beautiful, detailed sprites. The soundtrack is also nice and does a good job hyping up the gameplay.

Other reviews seem to mention issues with game-breaking bugs, however I did not come across any during my playthrough. It does seem, however, that some of the achievements are broken, so take note of that if you’re an achievement hunter.

Overall, Tower 57 was a short but fun and visually appealing experience for a very reasonable price therefore I think it deserves a score of 8/10.

tower 57 (2017) is a twin-stick shooter developed by pixelwerk and published by 11 bit studios. it's the first (and only) game on steam from pixwerk and the second game published by 11 bit studios that i have played (the first being this war of mine (2014). rather than being solely a fast-paced shooting action, tower 57 relies a lot more on things like story and RPG elements compared to other twin-stick shooters. there's a wide variety of characters to choose from, each with their own weapon loadouts and special attacks.

combat is typical for the genre, with a familiar feel if you've played even a single twin stick shooter before. controls are responsive and allow players to nimbly navigate around, dodge attacks, and unleash a variety of special attacks. the surprising/unique part is the fun and vibrant art style full of cool & creative visual design/aesthetics. there's a ton of detail in the 16-bit graphics and characters are well-designed and provide a appealing experience. there are fun amounts of combat with a lot of downtime in between as you find safe zones full of NPCs, shops, etc.

there's a few minor bugs that seem to linger around even in 2023, but i think they don't detract from the overall experience too much, due to their relative infrequency. even though tower 57 isn't some masterpiece, even by twin-stick standards, it is a worthwhile purchase, especially for fans of the genre. even though it doesn't reinvent the wheel, this is a solid debut title from what seems to be a smaller dev studio. they had enough of a unique vision when it comes to the worldbuilding and non-gameplay aspects that i eagerly anticipate what's next for them.
