Just finished it, and I've got to say, I have mixed feelings about this one.

I loved Tomoyo's route on Clannad, so I decided that after reading it I should give this a try even though I haven't finished the whole story in Clannad yet. I knew I would have a hard time reading it ever since I realized Tomoyo sounded different (VA change), since while it isn't a big deal Tomoyo started not acting like herself until the second part of the story.

That said, if you are that tolerant as I am even with the changes to Tomoyo's character, the 2nd part of the VN and ending was pretty bittersweet. If not, I wouldn't really recommend you reading this unless you really want to see Tomoyo's route to the end despite her change in personality or you wanna complete all clannad games.

超棒的游戏，建议玩cl攻略智代来玩这作，可惜steam是全年龄，r18和psp版本没在steam上，但是我操你妈结局，这结局给我看力竭了，为什么官方不能好好对智代，真心推荐智代粉来玩这部，到朋也做手术那里你可以关掉游戏了，然后打开PSP版视屏攻略来看真结局，是的只要智代和朋也在一块就是他妈的真结局，我人生第一次碰gal结果你刀我这么狠，智代天下第一爱！！！因为这部我彻底爱上智代酱了

我不是很能接受这种be结局，整个故事是从智代自己讲述自己往日发生过的故事，来给予在人生旅途遇到困难需要帮助的人希望的。
“无论如何，我都希望你能继续前行，知道找到属于你自己的宝物之日为止”
智代想用自己过来人的感悟已经得到的人生真谛来帮助更多被困难一叶障目而看不到人生处处是宝物的人们
确实没有人规定结局一定要是好的，就像现实总有一些拼尽全力也无法做到的事、医院里也不缺乏无论如何也不得不和家人永远分开的情景，而这部作品更像是写给这类人的，希望能给予玩家一些真正的力量，所以也没有必要在意朋也的生死，不要因为此而着魔，应该看到作者和智代所希望给予的那份帮助

『持续到永久的爱，是绝对存在的』智代FD给我的感觉更像部情书，一部对智代的情书，三岛智的意外让智代成为母亲，智代为此付出一起却又蒙蔽了未来，朋也意识到此即使难过也要做出正确的选择，也对立下至死不渝的爱情约定，后记部分仿佛是对玩家的走马灯，和智代的相遇，经历和恋爱，结局也是暗示朋也好好的（被炎上后修改结局为开放性结局）作为FD的质量有泪有笑，我觉得喜欢麻子的非常推荐玩毕竟后面的作品都没啥麻味了

Довольно хорошее дополнение к CLANNAD посвященное арке Томоё. Эта новелла отлично дополняет рут Томоё, ведь многим, кто проходил её рут, он показался любимым и они захотели ещё. Скажем так, эта игра является прямым продолжением истории, как в руте Нагисы, поэтому объем новеллы получился небольшой.
К плюсам этой игры можно отнести всё тоже самое что и в кланнаде, т.е: Музыка, озвучка, сюжет, ту же энциклопедию японских слов - Томопедию и т.д. Минусов особо нет, за исключением отсутствия русификатора, который устанавливается за 2 минуты. Но ещё некоторым может стать непривычно слышать голос Томои, другого сэйю у Томоё, а также обновлённой графики, но к этому быстро привыкаешь.
И ещё - по ходу сюжета будет открыта одна мини-игра - D&T, которая может стать занозой для тех, кто проходит игру на 100% ачивок. Хоть эта мини-игра и не обязательна для сюжета, начать проходить её стоит, т.к она довольно интересная.
В итоге могу сказать что эту игру стоит покупать только по скидке, ведь ради 20-30 часов(а то и меньше) отдавать ~1300 рублей - много. Также её стоит брать тем, кому понравился рут Томоё и сама Томоё, хотя есть некоторые нюансы... которые присущи "накигэ" новеллам. Ну а так, это новелла достойна внимания тех, кто любит CLANNAD и похожие новеллы.

Finally finished this VN after 7 years of owning it. Despite the title, Tomoyo is a side character. Basically there to back up Tomoya on his dillema. they act like married couple in regard to Tomo and it is very endearing. Takafumi and Kanako are great main characters. Their dynamic work very well together and Takafumi arc is great. Really leaning into forgiveness as a theme. The final arc was very emotion. Last moment with with Tomoya and his father almost make me tear up like in the original. The ending is sad but great. Just like Clannad. The OST is reminiscent of Air and Clannad mesh together as the story is set in the summer. This VNs remind me of the goodness found in others and that sometimes, only you can bring hope to a community. Not perfect, but hit when it needed to and don't overstay it welcome. A great example of a side VN.

Tomoyo After is truly one of those experiences that feel like they’ll NEVER leave you. out of all that i played from KEY, this is without a doubt my fav alongside the original Clannad, and that’s not because it’s perfect or whatnot, but because it resonates with authenticity at its heart. The bond between Tomoya and Tomoyo is the core of the story where two resilient, determined lovers strive to move forward together, and the game tells and shows this flawlessly. The emotional peaks were intense, but what truly affected me was the realism of it all, especially towards the conclusion. The conclusion, in particular, struck my heart directly and lingered in a way that only a few stories did.

What makes this story so unique is the authenticity of their relationship. Tomoya and Tomoyo don't seem like, and not written as perfect characters, they appear as two individuals still learning how to love, face challenges, and help one another.
Their connection possesses youthfulness, yet it is constantly tested, making each serene moment and intimate scene feel deserved. The game portrays their romance both emotional and physical, in a gentle, nurturing way, almost never coming off as cheap or artificial. The motifs of love, dedication, and staying with a partner through all the hardships truly stand out, particularly in the finale, which is undoubtedly the most emotionally powerful section of the whole narrative. It truly feels like something deeply personal from the goat Jun Maeda

Even beyond Tomoya and Tomoyo, the other characters contribute significantly to the experience. They aren't flawless, and sure, some jokes get repeated at the start and a couple of characters take a while to win you over, but by the conclusion, they all seem to fit.

All and all, I wholeheartedly believe this was Jun Maeda’s love letter. I believe that this left an everlasting feeling in his heart just as much as it left on me, and that conclusion is a testimony to my belief.
This story will forever remain a deep imprint on my heart and soul. Thank you Jun Maeda and everyone who brought this to me.

Tomoyo After es ese tipo de novela visual que te atrapa por historia y atmósfera, y luego te cobra el peaje con drama bien servido. Si vienes por romance, comedia ligera y una trama que sabe cuándo apretar el cuchillo (con banda sonora de cómplice), aquí hay material.

Ahora, seamos controversiales: lo de “estrategia” es más como “estrategia para no encariñarte” y falla miserablemente. Y con 0 jugadores actuales, esto se siente como entrar a un cine vacío a ver una película triste: íntimo, sí… pero también medio inquietante. Aun así, 651 recomendaciones no aparecen por accidente: hay algo aquí que a mucha gente le pegó fuerte.

Tomoyo after est l'un des titres contenant vraiment l'âme du studio.
Ce qui la caractérise est un scénario imprévisible, surtout dans la dernière partie, l’écriture de Maeda à cette caractéristique de vous retourner les tripes quand vous ne vous y attendait pas.
Cette version est un demi-remake, une bonne partie des routes ont été réécrites et beaucoup de contenu ajouté.
Je n'ai pas encore fait la version originale de 2005 et je suis curieux de voir les changements
Tomoyo after est pour moi l'un des incontournables du studio au même titre que Kanon, Air et Clannad
Le mini RPG est du pur bonus, il est sympa mais très rudimentaire, il à le mérite d’exister et prolongera la durée de jeu d’une dizaines d’heures.
L' OST est excellente, vraiment un plaisir pour les oreilles.

朋友，我算是一个资深的key社粉丝的同时也是智代粉，早些年时体验过了学习版的《Clannad》以及诸多key社作品（也包括动画音乐等）。其中就包含了这部《智代after》，所以，今日我前来补票。[u]我想说的是：对于所有同样是《Clannad》的粉丝们，无论朋友你是玩过前作，亦或是看过动画，我都真心不建议你入手这部Steam平台上的《智代after》。[/u]
原因是这部作品既不像迎合粉丝的商业作，也不像是key社麻枝准故事深度的延续，相反，其更像是一种畸形的诞生。
就如同Steam其中的有些评价所说，有智代和鹰文姐弟亲嘴，H场景被他人观看，这种恶俗的伦理剧情。有打完补丁后依然缺少语音和cg，以及强行而憋屈的剧情，哪怕通关了，最后给玩家心中剩下的，也只有Bad End。
[b]所以，朋友，我想说，如果你想玩，请去玩ps2版本的《智代after》，不要在Steam为这部作品补票，它不值得，被骂了，都算我的。[/b]

下面是曾经我思考了很久的一些话，主要是想说给key社、麻枝准等人听。但是也想说给通关过的智代粉听，最后也想说给我自己听。（大幅剧透，请慎重考虑是否继续阅读）

我承认，早在前作，我就已经不可自拔愛上了智代，但体验过《智代after》的过程中，我不承认这个结局
因为key社和麻枝准创造了智代，智代她应该是像他们的孩子一样，他们才希望她可以成长下去，坚强下去，甚至写出Bad End。
而我，体验了整个智代after流程，游戏让我代入的是朋也，所以智代就像是我的恋人，在我的心中，我希望我们应该互相理解、帮助、共同成长，这才是完美的生活。而现在对于通关后的我来说，看见智代的成长我很高兴，她可以更坚强地去面对那前方未知的路，但是智代更加坚强的代价是什么呢？是在坚强的掩盖下，她的心里永远留下的那些刻骨铭心的痛苦。
经历了恋人三年的重复失忆，期间熬走了鹰文河南子，熬走了一轮又一轮的春夏秋冬，却始终没有熬走智代那颗对朋也炽热的心。
上千个白天，她化名森林里的小熊，在网络上倾听别人的情绪宣泄后，指引他人前往正确的方向，可谁又曾听闻她心底的悲伤呢？谁又能告诉她该怎么办呢？上千个夜晚里，漫天繁星可以互相为伴，可她只能够孤身一人在出租屋里悲伤落泪。
日复一日重复的治疗，她始终没有变得如机器般麻木，她在怀念那段美好记忆的同时，不懈地帮朋也进行康复记忆，而目睹这一切的我…不正像是没有失去记忆的朋也吗？那故事后面恢复记忆的我，又怎么会愿意让智代再继续独自承受这种痛苦呢？
失忆后，我重新爱上智代，理解父亲深沉的爱，决定结婚，进行手术，最后过上完美的生活，真正的爱应是让彼此互相成长，而故事末尾，付出三年青春时光，甚至余生都要在心中留下那抹痛楚的智代，朋也的作用却只是让她成长为更加坚强的人吗？
key社麻枝准，你们作为她的缔造者，我能够理解你们的用心，但是在游戏中玩家身为冈崎朋也，身为她的恋人，你们却没有理解玩家的心，这也是为什么当初《智代after》的面世后，key社麻枝准遭到大量的批评，这是他们应得的。
对于首发面世的pc版及其十八禁版本，这或许出于迎合市场的商业需求，但我爱的是智代的肉体吗？但你又安排智代和弟弟亲嘴，和朋也H的场景也被弟弟目睹。我爱的是和智代在一起吗？所以你又让玩家作为朋也死去，只剩下智代一人。这更像一种对智代粉丝的欺骗，只是简简单单类似白富美爱上穷小子的喜欢吗？那答案到底是什么呢？都是，但也都不是，最重要的是一个在自己潦倒生活不顺的情况下，有一个坚定相信自己能够变得更好的爱人，这才是智代线后智代真正魅力所在。
在我心里，那个雨天朋也没有出事，麻枝准什么的，在创造朋也你的那一刻，朋也你就已经有自己的命运、自己的生活，至于什么BE，只不过是他们对于刀子的自我满足，你和智代要幸福。
冈崎朋也，那个造学校的雨天一定要小心，不要踩空、不要脚滑，智代是你的恋人，一定要给她幸福，你这家伙已经够让我羡慕了，所以两个人一起身体健康地成长下去吧，携手走向那真正的wonderful life！
再就是游戏本就是面向玩家，虽然《Clannad》系列一直都偏于现实，但是如果所有的故事背后都是伤痛，每一个游戏、读物、动画都在告诉我：世界没有那么美好。可是哪能有多少人会去不停追逐那美好的生活呢？生活的痛苦，现实生活中的人们已经感受到了，那就请不要抹去每个人心中那片理想的完美生活。
但是在Steam的这部作品，我不会退款，但也不会动它一个成就。可我依然打好评，不只是给挚爱的智代，也是给记忆里曾经在通关后，那个久久难以释怀，心里空落落而流泪的自己。

Tomoyo After ~It’s a Wonderful Life~ is a focused follow-up that continues from Tomoyo’s ending in CLANNAD, and it really expects you to already care about these characters. Instead of a big ensemble romance structure, it narrows down into one relationship and asks what happens after the “happy ending” when real life actually starts.

The early part is slow and domestic in a good way: Tomoya and Tomoyo are living together, dealing with work, school, and the awkwardness of becoming a proper couple. It spends time on small routines and everyday warmth, so you get to see them as partners rather than just a route conclusion.

As more characters enter their home and problems start stacking up, the tone gradually shifts. The story leans into responsibility, compromise, and the way good intentions can still cause damage. When it gets heavy, it doesn’t feel like drama for drama’s sake—it feels like the game is deliberately testing what this relationship is made of.

Томоё итак пришлось несладко в кланнад так еще и тут ей навалили по самое не хочу. доволен ли я? да нифига! я расстроен, мне очень обидно за то, что сценаристы сделали с Томоё. за что вы так ее невзлюбили? зачем ей выдавать столько страданий?
Если вам понравилась Кланнад и вы пришли сюда чтобы еще чуток окунуться в тот мир, к знакомым героям, то не советую. не портите себе впечатления. запомните Томоё такой, какой она была в Кланнад.

Originally I bought Clannad but I could not finish it because I just find anime adapted to be so well done.
When I stumbled across Tomoyo After I thought to myself, what would Tomoyo's route be? Because on anime, that OVA alone has so much emotional build up in only 24 minutes which made me curious as to what her route has to offer.

And when I finish it, I could only think to myself, I am glad I finished this visual novel.

I guess what I learnt was, find what you treasure in life and continue living with those in mind.

I don't even know what to say here. This was definitely on par with After Story, in some ways even topping it. No other VN has hit as hard as this one, not even Clannad. I'm trying my hardest to think about something else to say here, but... damn. I love this game.

If you are looking for more Clannad, that is not what you're getting with Tomoyo After. The characters feel flanderized at many points throughout the novel, and the story feels largely detached from Tomoyo and Tomoya for a majority of it's runtime. It has moments that are emotional and a serviceable story, but I would only recommend it for hardcore Tomoyo fans,

Si me preguntaran, despues de haber jugado completamente CLANNAD y amarla con locura, si vale la pena jugar Tomoyo After dijera que si. La banda sonora como era de esperarse es grandiosa, la historia me gustó mucho y al ser relativamente corta no te tomará mucho tiempo en experimentar su potencial y mensaje.

Dicho esto tengo un sabor muy agridulce con respecto al [spoiler] true final [/spoiler]. Tiene sentido pero a su vez te deja [spoiler] con el corazón destrozado y mas aun si eres de los que te identificas con Tomoya. Reflecionando por dias gracias a lo "ambiguo" que es las escenas finales y depositar tu fe en que al final viviran juntos [/spoiler].

He notado una diferencia con respecto a los Tomoya y Tomoyo que hemos conocido a lo largo de Clannad, asi que tal vez hubiese funcionado un poquito mejor independiente (?). En fin espero que disfrutes de esta buena obra de Key

i'm not recommending this as it doesn't really focus on Tomoyo much. It's mostly interested in different, original characters and sort of writing the existing couple a bit oddly

If you're here because you enjoyed CLANNAD and want more of Tomoyo, you're not getting that here.
I also have a lot of complaints about the story itself but they're scattered and the biggest point for a not recommend is just... it's not about Tomoyo and doesn't feel like CLANNAD whatsoever. Even Tomoya, my favorite character, doesn't feel like Tomoya much at all.
