It is an excellent single or multiple player game additionally works well either locally or via the web
even though youre still able to buy this version, it is no longer supported and does not work online or with any dlc. there is no way to upgrade to the new game. so they just kill it and re release and make you buy another instead of updating it.

The game doesn't have Steam Cloud saves, it doesn't have a way to mark which maps you've won, the game servers were turned off (so offline mode only) but if you basically just want to play a digital version of the board game, have at it.
It's a fun game. However, it is extremely annoying that the computer's only goal is to complete the longest routes and not their own tickets.

While this is the classic Ticket to Ride game and plays faithfully, and I enjoy playing it.
You can only play Solo or Pass Play modes (where players take turns controlling the game).
Online Functions were disabled, in favour of reproducing a newer version (2023), which feels money grabbing to cut off one perfectly functioning game to redo the game over. This is why I can NOT recommend it, it is no longer feature complete with the servers offline.

Przejrzysty ekran, intuicyjny interfejs - łatwo można się odnaleźć.
Co do samej rozgrywki to podobnie jak w pierwowzorze jest ona bardzo przyjemna.
Zaletą wersji komputerowej jest to, że nie trzeba czekać na ruch innych graczy (w sensie komputer robi je bardzo szybko), odpada żmudne liczenie punktów, a miasta, które należy połączyć są bardzo dobrze podświetlone.

I pray to God no one has ever attempted to get all of these achievements. It would take decades of hammering away at this somewhat acceptable game. If someone did that they would hardly be alive, nothing more than a train obsessed machine, incapable of forming human connections.
Look if you somehow got all these achievements I'm not claiming you have no life, I'm PROCLAIMING that you never had a life.

Great adaptation of the original board game and several of its best expansion packs. Achievement hunting is very fun and there's some nice challenges here to overcome. AI is competent and can present an actual challenge!

Fine desktop game, but Windows only. The base game is playable under Linux, but the DLCs do not register due to some compatibility issue. That is my only gripe with the game.

Can't get all the achievements now that the game is delisted and the DLC is gone. Was pretty fun while it lasted, but scammy move to try to get everyone to buy the new version.

or just whenever. I wouldn't recommend for long term gaming.

Purchased this to play with a friend out of state, but the server was shut down.
For local play though, its WONDERFUL!
We loved the board game, but it can be a hassle to set up and a bit difficult to quickly locate your cities with how you sit. This format does it SO WELL! It plays very smoothly and makes game play more streamlined.
Bought this to play online, but the servers were shut down with no warning or compensation. Steam just sends me to the publisher, who offers no help. Now multiplayer is gone unless you buy the new version. Really disappointing.
Quick 15-20 minute solo games makes this a great way to wind down at the end of the day. Very competitive AI and fun multiplayer mode.
Ticket to ride has always been a great game and the version here is crisp, colorful and a joy to play.

Nice way to screw people over that have the old version by disconnecting the servers. Why not make it so that you can just play trough the steam servers.
I get that there were servers for cross platform and that that gets thrown out i can get but steam vs steam shouldve still worked.
this is one of my favorite games to play both online and offline. i think the adaptation from the board game to the virtual version was done really well.

It's in a neglected state now. Eg. loading it up will give a message "multiplayer is no longer supported please play on Board Game Arena instead".
So single player only and not at all maintained.
Online function is now dead, be warned, don't buy this game if you want to play with friends.
