Oh man.... I had this game in mind for some time and finally decided to buy it. I have 35 hours in it and already quitted forever. In the beginning it was quite fun, but after 25h it became hell. I was hoping I could get a stealth-action game (like its told in the description and reviews), but it has nothing to do with that. Despite diverse abilities for making stealth easier it was still too difficult. The AI is bugged and the terrain is mostly completely open, what leads to unpreventable detection by the enemies. The enemies are completely overpowered, requiring about 10 gun- or bowshots to go down. Not only that. Their horses and wagons are by far faster than the players horse, from which you cant even hit targets, in contrast to the enemies. It is impossible to infiltrate enemy towns or forts as solo player or with AI fighters. No matter how much good-quiality-guns the warriors use, the opponents will be stronger. Due to that I was not able to make progress, not even in the easiest game mode. I also bought a dlc (that I didnt get any advantages of) for a good amount of money, which went directly into the trash can. Many of these issues and a lot of minor problems would probably be be solved easily, if the game wouldn't be abandoned by it's ukrainian devs, due to the War, which of course excuses the unfinished program. In my opinion the game is unplayable at the moment, really disappointing and unbeatable. It shouldn't be sold on this platform.

I've really enjoyed this game for the short time I've played it--I find the gameplay satisfying and robust and the natural landscape and setting are chef's kiss. All of the common complaints I've seen in the comments here are things that either didn't bother me or that I decided were acceptable imperfections and I can't fault the developers for deciding they are done after years of fixing and polishing. This game is monumentally ambitious. Unfortunately, the system is a bit too involved for what I have time for, as I rarely get a chance to game anyway. I wish there were an option to play as an aspiring tribe champion or warlord, with the camps more automatically managed. Maybe someday when I have time to completely immerse myself in the system, I'll come back and really dig into this gem.

This isn't my kind of game. Too much micro-managing and crafting. I thought it would be a great Western story or something from a Native American's perspective. But there's no story and I nothing that truly puts you in the moccasins of those people. The thing that stood out to me from the beginning is how animals are a threat that you have to simply kill and loot. I didn't expect that given what I've heard about Native American cultures. I didn't think it was worth putting more time into, especially given all the bugs that apparently plague the game.

Its a hard game for a hard time. With flaws but overall a good game, specially for the setting. It is indeed not as bad as the reviews suggest,specially with the bugs they talk about. Since theres nothing like this game, ill recommend it.Get it on sale tho.

This game allows exploration of 100 sq miles of territory with inherent dangers throughout. The size and quality of the map alone makes it worth it for me-compare in size to Skyrim 15 sq mi and witcher 3 45 sq mi, etc. What was completed before abandonment is well done-and I keep coming back to it over and over again.

I desperately want to love this game. The premise—building a revolution against a technologically superior enemy through stealth, resistance-building, and guerrilla warfare—should be perfect for me. It even features light automation, with freed warriors gathering supplies and crafting items for the camp. The tactical depth is promising: poison enemy food supplies, use animal baits to draw predators, and even establish warrior roadblocks to disrupt supply lines.

The problem is that [b]the game isn't finished and likely never be[/b]. Combat feels like a chore. Gunplay is clunky, and bow mechanics are particularly off-putting. While the game features interesting ideas—like lung or heart shots causing instant kills rather than the standard headshot bonus—the execution falls flat. Movement is equally frustrating: horse controls lag noticeably, and your mount shrieks in agony at the slightest jump. Without a dedicated jump button (only a roll), raiding a farmstead means circling waist-high fences until you find an opening. The AI swings wildly between extremes—spotting you from impossible distances with perfect accuracy, then getting hopelessly stuck on terrain. Your own warriors are no better. I abandoned my first save after all my starting fighters decided to gather wood inside an enemy fort, marching to their deaths one by one like lemmings before a firing squad.

Ten hours in, I hit my breaking point. Fast-travelling to my main hub spawned me floating in midair. As I plummeted to earth, breaking every bone in my body, the game informed me that someone—whose location I didn't know—had killed me and taken all my gear. The concept of a revenge mission to track down your killer is brilliant, but like everything else here, the execution is fundamentally broken.

There’s fun buried beneath the bugs, but only if you can overlook the constant technical failures. I can’t anymore.

Engaging and fun open world game, with many things to try and explore. For me, the best time is early to mid game. In the later stages, there's too much almost continuous attacks from strong enemies. This might be true to the historical situation, but destroys enjoyment of the game; a defend until you're destroyed feeling. I tend to play so far, then start a new game to resume the exploring and enjoyment.
A big pain is when the save files get corrupted from time to time, so at key moments I archive the save files to a ZIP file, which I can use to return to a good point from which to try again.

This is one of those games that I can't uninstall. Even if I stop playing it, I know that eventually I'm going to crave it again and when I do I'll want to play this more than I want to eat or sleep. I absolutely suck at this game, it's brutal to the point that if you're not playing with hardcore turned on, you're still essentially playing in hardcore. But no matter how many times I'm forced to restart, I'm excited to try again Every Single Time. My horse is my best friend. Every new turn reveals a scene taken right out of a painting. And every small win feels like making it to the mountain top.

Extraordinaire et atypique,

Pour une fois qu'on peut jouer les indiens, on à la une sorte de RedDead Redemption inversé, vachement plus poussé, il y a toute une gestion de craft et survie en plus de la partie action pure, l'ambience est au rendez-vous, on s'y croirait et on se prend au jeu très vite,

Un peu difficile d'accès avec tout ce qu'il y a maitriser mais une fois dedans on décroche pas facilement, triste de voir que des jeux comme ça n'ont pas le succès qu'il mérite quand on voit les bouses que de grands studio pondent,

I played this Game for over 100 hours and started from scratch 6 times.
It is really hard and normally I am a "give me the cheat codes" guy.
But this game catched me.
It is really hard to beat and you have to read community forum threads to understand certain techniques and systems.
But once you figured it out it is addictive as f%*k.
I am currently playing two "campaigns" in parallel.
One where I play without killing any humans (reputation system on as by default) and one where I kill a lot of humans (reputation system off).

Both strategies are fun.
The one where you can kill is a bit easier.
Later in the game if you didn't stop the railway early enough, it becomes quite hard not to kill.

Sadly the Devs didn't consult any historians or actual native Americans - so it often feels a bit bland and "western movie"ish.
That's a bit sad.
But the still managed to create an amazing game with tons of amazing details.

The game is abandoned and will not be developed or maintained any longer - but I would still buy it.

ist ein sehr komplexes forderndes Spiel. Verlangt viel Geschick und Management Fähigkeiten. Sehr gut, auch Grafik Steuerung naja kann man darüber diskutieren. Speichern sehr hart, bei Spielertod verliert man alle Gegenstände!. Erstaunlich wie gut da Spiel welches ja seit Jahren nicht mehr support wird funktioniert. Kann sich mit KCD2 messen.

This Land Is My Land can be defined as an unfinished project that was left as a half-baked title and currently completely abandoned. The game had a couple of good ideas and systems that held potential but unfortunately they were never fully developed by the DEVs and remain to this day half-finished, and rather frustrating in their simplicity. Bugs and graphical glitches which have been reported by the community that wanted to see the game become a staple in a genre that is lacking in setting, were never fixed and are still present in the game. I decided to refund the title and forget about playing it again, because players report that the title is still in the same state it was left years ago. I really hoped they would finish it, but it looks like that's not going to happen, therefore I cannot recommend the game in good faith to anyone.

So far playing 5 hours, I do recommend this game. If you can get past the occasional bug (not game breaking so far) and get used to the combat, it appears to be a fun game. The only bug I have encountered is sending warrior to collect loot at a camp while I was in the camp, I then fast forwarded and when they were going to leave they kept getting on their horse and getting off and repeating those actions. Once I left the area, the warriors went back to camp.

After doing some digging and even going on their Discord for this game, the developers are no longer working on this game. Game-Labs, was bought by Stillfront in early 2021, who specializes in mobile phone games. Then later Stillfront shutdown the development team for Game-Labs as of Dec 2024. This game unfortunately will not see anymore development done to it, I hope that I am wrong in the future though.

After playing and researching this information, I still do recommend this game if you enjoy this style. The AI, which are the frontier men, they will continue to progress and spread throughout the map while it is your job to begin the resistance and take the land back. How you do it, is completely up to you. I primarily sneak around and burn the settlements at night, I do see a message at the top that mentions them remembering I attack primarily at night while they sleep so they'll set up more patrols as a response. You can even lead up to 4 of your own guys into the settlements and have a mini war, you can send your men to attack I am pretty sure. There is a social tab still where you can sell items for coins or buy items. You can get the coins from challenges that frequently reset. There is an active leaderboard (Even a weekly one that resets). Quite a few different people do sell items you can purchase as well. There is an average of 40 people that play a month now.

(Wait until it's on sale, I don't like how Stillfront is getting money for a game they never planned on continuing and ignoring the player base that has attempted to reach out to them many times)

This may be the most infuriating videogame I've ever played. And that's saying a lot. Slow response, minimal carrying capacity, NPC antagonists who have literally more life-levels than a damn bison, tiny hit-box radius for gathering supplies, clunky inventory management, sky-high skill-point requirements but tiny SP rewards, the most tedious resource-gathering mechanism in my experience, crafting where YOU have to craft EVERYTHING for your entire tribe... I could go on. On on. And on.

The last straw involved an NPC who showed up in my camp right as I was returning from a grueling mission, shot me dead, and made everything I was carrying disappear. Usually, when an NPC kills you, you receive a mission where you can kill him to get your stuff back. Not this guy. It was just GONE. While one could say that IS a realistic reflection of the Indigenous American experience, it's lousy game design.

This game is punishingly unfun. I gave it three tries. Never again.

Я бы рекомендовал - Но баг на баге. Луки пропадают из поселений это как то связано со списком приказов, потому что не в каждом а только в некоторых и большинстве. Из за них нет нормальный охоты и войны ходят голые огнестрел не берут. Бывает отряд отказывается садиться на лошадей - можно исправить только переформирование отряда. Позвал лошадь - она стояла на мосту - она побежала через текстуры в противоположную часть карты вышла за её пределы её не догнать - пришлось переигрывать снова. Кнопка F взаимодействия с предметами перестаёт работать - зачистил отряд не могу собрать дроп, бочки не открываются, костры не работают.. Про залипание в текстурах молчу..
Потом раньше были надписи пал воин или великий - сейчас пропало. Да половины этих багов не видел прежде - ощущение что игру намеренно убили!
Может забыл ещё какие то баги или пока не видел. Есть баг на стрелы у отряда но я считаю его положительным - и не таким страшным.
Странно рекомендовать игру с таким количеством багов - но сама задумка неплохая.

Leider eine gute Idee ziemlich gegen die Wand gefahren. Bugs und technische Probleme mal außer Acht gelassen. Hauptprobleme sind , Speichersystem, manuelles speichern ist völlig unnötig da man den Stand eh nicht laden kann, spiel speichert automatisch bei Niederschlag und man steht dann mit null Ausrüstung und Waffen den gleichen Gegnern gegenüber. Nervig!!!! Gegner KI völlig overpowert, ich hab bei 23% eigenes Land und 3 zerstörten Gegner Hauptstädten aufgegeben, nach jedem "sieg" kommt sofort ein Gegner dazu, in meinem Fall waren es 4 Gegner und obendrauf die Eisenbahn, Crafting kann man vergessen man hat gar nicht die Zeit die diversen Rezepte auszuprobieren, denn die KI erobert viel zu schnell Gebiete. Während man mühsam seine Kämpfer einsammelt durch Eroberung und Befreiung aus dem Knast verfügt die KI über schier unerschöpfliche Reserven die sie munter über die Karte schickt um deine Dörfer zu zerstören. Wenn man nicht selbst vor Ort ist, stehen deine Krieger nur dumm in ihren Lager und lassen den Gegner Lager bauen und warten ab bis sie angegriffen werden.

Fazit; Hat am Anfang echt richtig Spaß gemacht, coole Idee, schöne Grafik, Hätte was werden können. Ich hab nach über 70 Stunden völlig gefrustet aufgegeben. SCHADE!!!!!

Great game! Had major fun with it, and now i am into a long struggle for resistance.

There are some comments out there lying about the state of the game. This is not true, as far as i can experience. I played for hours not encountering any issues needed to be fixed. Everything in that game makes sense and there are only minor issues (like camera clipping into the body while riding and looking back or something like that) that dont interrupt fun at all. Seems like some ZRussians took issue with the devs being from Ukraine...

Плохое: игра очень сложная и несбалансированная. Персонаж игрока невероятно слаб и ограничен в возможностях. Где вы видели индейца, который не умеет ползать по пластунски, не умеет прыгать, не может перелезть через забор высотой до пояса, не может залезть на крышу одноэтажного дома? (И не научится) Индейца, который не умеет метать нож или томагавк, который с десяти метров промахивается из лука и т. п. (Этому можно научиться в процессе прокачки персонажа) В начале игры вождь почти беспомощен, любое столкновение с противником приводит к фатальным последствиям. Противники наоборот, даже первого уровня — слишком сильны. Очень далеко видят и слышат, дальше дальности любого выстрела, большой сектор обзора, очень метко стреляют, каждое попадание отнимает очень много здоровья. Здоровье само не восстанавливается, зелья, пища и лекарства восстанавливают здоровье крайне мало и медленно. Невозможно схватить и вырубить противника, если он заметил игрока и спастись бегством вряд ли получится. Прохождение квестов где требуется найти и захватить нужного персонажа живым — на грани мазохизма. Противники, кроме точного попадания в голову — "губки" для пуль и стрел, десятком попаданий не свалить. Прокачка персонажа очень медленная. Например, за полную зачистку вражеского поселения с десятком врагов и кучей ранений, потраченных ресурсов получишь 300 очков SP, а для открытия следующего навыка, немного улучшить характеристику персонажа процентов на 10%, нужно 5000 очков SP. Такие пропорции прокачки. В случае гибели игрок возрождается в ближайшем лагере, но теряет все оружие, снаряжение и большую часть добытых очков SP. Умереть можно от пары выстрелов и любого чиха. Никаких читов или работающих трейнеров в игре нет. Сохраниться у костра можно, но загрузки пользовательских сохранений нет. В случае гибели возродишься на ближайшей контрольной точке и все потеряешь.

Есть мелкие баги и графические артефакты, мелкие неудобства управления, но их можно простить.

Вывод: кто всегда играет на максимальном уровне сложности и хочет очень тяжелую игру против мощного ИИ, имеет много времени на игры — советую. Игра зайдет. Кто хочет просто расслабиться на пару часов после трудового дня и не мазохист — не советую. Лучше нервы поберечь. Здесь игрок не супермен, а мальчик для битья. Читов нет.

I like the idea, but the game is just very bad. Game play looks like 20 years old, No proper mapping for game pad (really ???) It's barely playable, You lure enemies somewhere to try & grab them from behind but they see you coming in their back, you carry 2 rifles & you're overweight, native camps are like one family big, menus are not well thought, not much is explained, can't seem to think of one good thing.

Even if this game is on sale in the Steam Store, do absolutely not buy it.
The game is pretty much unfinished, but abbandoned.
With this game you only buy frustration.

This game should have been taken of the Store page a long time ago.

The reasoning is unfinished content, unoptimized performance, the developers completely turned their backs away from this game.

The one thing that still was kind of fun was the social interaction with other players and even that is gone from the game.

Le jeu est super mais quand on y regarde de plus près on s'aperçoit que le jeu est fait avec le c*l :
-tout d'abord il y a énormément de bug : parfois je monte tout en haut d'un arbre et je manque de mourir des dégâts de chute, une fois aussi un ennemi m'a vu à travers une montagne
-ensuite le jeu même en facile est très compliqué car on a très peu de vie par rapport aux ennemis

J'espère donc que les devs amélioreront ce jeu car sans les bugs il serait facilement l'un de mes favoris.

Update : c'est vraiment un putain de jeu de merde j'ai essayé d'être poli et de rester optimiste mais là ça y est j'en ai marre de rager à cause de vos bugs de merde si vous voulez faire un jeu de merde alors ça sert à rien de le faire payant je veux être remboursé bande d'arnaqueurs de merde !!!!

This game does not know how to handle time or communicate how it handles time. Take fast travel for example. You can fast travel to intercept something, yet that fast travel is taking a lot of ingame time (for exaple 10 hours). But at the same time no one else moves during that time. Say you wanted to lay ambush to a train. That train has not moved during the 10 hours ingame but enemy development that you wanted to stop with intercepting that train has continued. Same goes for resting: you dont know how long you will rest nor what effect that time has on the world.
And it gets worse: there seems to be a connection to real life time, meaning that enemies sometimes have progressed when you load the game. Also some ingame timers for quests (under the social tab) are using real life time, not ingame. For example some quests you can trigger daily and some timers seem to tick down wether you are playing or not. Its a single player game that behaves like some kind of competetive, seasons-using battle royale shooter.
And dont get me wrong, i like that they experimented with this concepts i just wish that somehow it would be communicated what kind of time matters when.
And the whole pseudo-ironman mechanic? Its not as fun as it sounds. I just wish to have a load button instead of having to quit to main menu or even kill the game with the task manager to be able to load a save.

This game really showed potential but it's been abandoned so wouldn't recommend.

As for why it's been abandoned, I heard that the Russian invasion affected the Ukrainian developers but they have had other games released (and abandoned?) since then, so it doesn't make sense... Upon a quick search I found that some native activists that rallied up on the game's discord criticising the game's lack of indigenous people... The studio, a team of four and based off Ukraine, were open for suggestions but it was made obvious that it wasn't as much an issue about cultural accuracy but rather a half-boiled plot to demand jobs for themselves as self-proclaimed cultural experts... Karşınızda süper bir oyun var aslında. Evet evet biraz optimizasyon sıkıntısı var tabiki ama üzmez düzmez cinsten. Oynanış ve oyun cinsinden birçok ilki deneme fırsatınız oluyor bu oyunda. Görev kısmı biraz basic kalmış. Fakat daha önce oyunların bizi bırakmadığı kadar bir özgürlük içerisinde anavatanımızı işgalcilerden arındırmaya çalışıyoruz. High concept, poor execution.
I like the ideas this game had, but it seems almost too ambitious for what they could add. I played this game a lot, fishing for those epic moments that sometimes sort of happened but were plagued with bugs and jank.
I don't regret playing this game, but I would not buy it thinking you are getting a "finished" product.
