Bis jetzt ist mir JEDES Spiel abgestürzt !!! Konnte nicht eines zu ende bringen :(
Wer Geld einsetzt hat große Vorteile beim PVP was für mich der letzte Mist ist. Es gibt keine Mauern oder Palisaden was für Siedler sehr schade ist . Die Türme nehmen viel zu wenig Gebit ein. Mein Fazit ist das dieses Siedler auf Gier ausgelegt ist schade :( sehr schade :(((

Very casual game. ATM real price is ~~40e, sale 12e, it is 3e mobile game.
1. There is no depth, there is no tactic.
2. Game is tediously slow, of 35 hours you spend at least 50% of that time, waiting. It is like mobile game because it exhausts your time and it plays like that too. Gather wood, make planks, workers are dumb and tedious (carries are not optimized, and based on whole network). So managing the village/city is impossible, you are doomed to wait for game to simulate intelligence after 1h of waiting.
3. Economy is tedious, population is fast spent, so even though you invested 250 population into economy, the resource gathering is super slow. Trading is OverPowered. You can for example make bunch of tools, the same economy that gives you stone + plank. With same economy you build engineers, towers. And then you expand borders. And will all that excess resource you trade for gold, and gold you trade for what you need.
4. Military 3 factions i think they differ with 1 unit. Building weapons, unique resources is part of the economy, and the combat itself is well, mobile game. Towers mess you up, your "siege" units get messed by the same towers, and the same towers can be upgraded to mess you/your enemy units even more. One tower can wipe about 50-60 units (maintaining economy and production leaves you at 100-120 mil units, out of 500 population unless heavy on/off building management).

Final thoughts, this is not age of empires, this is not Stronghold, this is not Anno. It is neither game, does not beat either game in anything nor does it give any meaning tbh. The campaign and story are interesting, missions boring, and final mission ruins the whole experience. (you basically waste 30 mins waiting for engineers to move from one side of map to another).

You can skip this one, Ubisoft slop, with their crap launcher and denuvo, no need to expose your privacy for this game. Might as well play Total annihilation kingdoms or any anno game.

At first i thought "YES what a great game" but later on i discovered that you cant play custom skirmish against more AI players than 1 at a time. And that AI is rubbish... Love the game, but the choices made from UBISOFT is destroying the long term fun of the game.... Soooo close and yet so far

So, reading other reviews, I was a little hesitant to buy this game. I have owned ever Settlers game since way back in 1994. The original was called Serf City. The first and second Settlers were my favorite. They kind of went off track after that. But, this time it feels like the original games and I really appreciate that. The settlers game series has always been a bit grindy, but that's then point. You watch and listen to the people as they go about their day.

The game does crash on occasion. Make sure to save often. The other con that I miss from the original, you can not set the supply chains up and prioritize them.

Overall, I really like the feel of this game. It feels somewhat like playing the original.

it took me 41mins to undestand that i have being hustled, this is not settler name is but game isnt.
in settlers you occupy land by building towers and castles in this one you send engineers to shovel air and move borders that doesnt exist kinda so unless you engineer has shovel air in right area wich you cannot choose they choose them selfs where to shovel you just point some sorta direction go shovel air there and yeh hopefully you shovel air where i want to build my road oh you didnt you are going in other direction mayby after hour you shovel this part of air i need my road or mayby i am not playing this game its idiotic....

The concept of reviving The Settlers franchise for a modern audience is sound. There is a clear attempt to streamline systems and make the experience more accessible, which may appeal to new players unfamiliar with older entries in the series.

Negative Aspects

The technical state of the game is unacceptable. I just lost three hours of progress due to a crash. That alone signals a lack of polish that should not exist in a released title. The game feels unfinished, and that impression is reinforced by frequent performance issues.

Optimization is a major problem. Workers regularly lag, freeze, or get stuck, breaking the core gameplay loop of a settlement-building game. Combat units suffer from similar issues, especially during attacks, where pathfinding and responsiveness degrade noticeably. These problems directly undermine both strategy and immersion.

The amount of available units is extremely limited, to the point where it feels like a placeholder rather than a complete design. For a strategy game, this lack of depth severely reduces replayability and tactical variety.

Despite the strong visuals, gameplay systems feel underdeveloped and unstable. The contrast between how good the game looks and how poorly it performs makes the flaws even more apparent.

And yes, this is Ubisoft. The pattern is familiar: ambitious presentation, weak execution, and a release that feels rushed. Kappa.

Final Assessment

The Settlers: New Allies is visually impressive but fundamentally compromised by crashes, poor optimization, shallow unit variety, and unfinished-feeling systems. Losing hours of progress due to instability is not a minor issue—it is a deal-breaker.

In its current state, the game fails to meet the expectations of both long-time fans and new players. Without significant fixes and meaningful gameplay expansion, the experience remains more frustrating than rewarding.

Sehr einfach gehalten und immer sehr repepetiv. Nahrung wird nicht mehr zum bauen benötigt, sondern gibt nur noch einen Boost. Mit mehr Gebäuden kann man auch locker auf Nahrung verzichten.
Die Auswahl an Gebäuden ist nur sehr begrenzt. Man baut jedes Level das gleichen, pusht seine Armee hoch und schickt sie los. Es gibt auch Sammellevel, die sich aber nicht wirklich unterscheiden.
Das größte Manko für mich ist aber, dass es eine fixe Geschwindigkeit gibt. Eine Runde dauert 1.5-2 Stunden. Die hälfte der Zeit wartet man auf Rohstoffe, die andere Hälfte auf das Training der Soldaten. Gähn. Vom eigentlichen Mikromanagement der Waren, wie beim alten Siedler ist dadurch nichts übrig.
Noch dazu geht es nicht ohne Ubisoft Account, der auch immer online connecten will. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit für Mikrotransaktionen für Skins....
Als Fan der alten Siedlerteile bin ich schon enttäuscht.
