Первая часть серии про девушку-археолога-попаданца. Про попаданцев у авторов примерно половина игр, вторая половина - сказки. Как же нарисовано, глаз не отвести! Необыкновенные художники! Сюжет хромает, как во всех казуалках, автор пишет от лица девушки, которой приходится то меч ковать, то что-то постоянно ремонтировать. В общем, автор у нас - мужик, а игры про девушек. Это несет явный диссонанс, что перекрывается замечательной графикой и интересными головоломками. Поиск присутствует, но или по силуэту с применением найденного, или (редко) нужно найти пару найденному предмету.
В общем, игру я рекомендую. Также рекомендую пройти и бонусную главу, в которой рассказывают историю второстепенного персонажа игры. В данной игре есть коллекционные карточки. Отличный отдых после рабочей рутины! Отличная игра в отпуске!

It's a good game and I enjoyed the artwork and complexity of puzzles for the mostpart, however it isn't perfect.

For one thing, there are no hidden object scenes per se. Instead, we get the 'domino effect' scenes, where one thing you find leads to another, and eventually you get one item from a scene - where everything you pick up is used in some way to get what you need. From a realistic perspective I can see how these sorts of scenes should be more common, but I found I missed the old mess scenes, and the game felt lacking.

The bonus chapter is home to the worst puzzle though, with concentric rings and the outer ring linked to three other separate puzzles. I ended up using the in-game guide for this as I often tried it only to end up with two pieces left over and found it too hard to swap them, as the pieces were position specific, not just colour specific.

To top off, afterwards there are 20 bonus puzzles to finish for an achievement, and some of these require some serious thought. The hexagonal grid has to be filled up completely by only using straight line moves, but each puzzle has various obstacles scattered around the grid so as to make it awkward to complete. Ultimately you can skip these, and the game will show you the solution, but you still need to finish them yourself to get the achievement.

Having just come away from fully completing the achievements, I find myself a bit drained from the experience. But even with the harder puzzles it isn't too bad and I'd still recommend it.

Tout est si calme à l'intérieur du musée, je suis rêveuse dans la douce clarté, un bruit étrange me fait sursauter, un halo de lumière vient m'emporter. La pierre du soleil n'est plus, je me retrouve dans un monde inconnu, sous le regard angélique des deux lunes, je dois combattre les infortunes. Je suis éblouie devant les temples sacrés, ils renferment tant de beauté et de secrets, au gré de la rivière sans fin, je tente de retrouver mon chemin. Voyageant sur le dos de la harpie, je dois faire s'accomplir la prophétie, le chaman pourra m'aider à retourner chez moi, dès que sera anéanti l'ignoble sorcier Tohunga.

Incroyable changement d'atmosphère et de monde, c'est une réussite totale. De grandioses cinématiques nous emportent dans un univers aux couleurs chatoyantes et délicieuses. Les personnages et les créatures sont superbement dessinés et animés, il n'y a qu'à voir par exemple : les guerriers de jade, les gardes au cœur brûlant, pour se rendre compte du talent de ces artistes. Une magnifique musique de circonstance qui nous offre des accords enchanteurs et mystérieux. Des graphismes splendides à la perfection inoubliable. De superbes effets sonores et visuels à tomber. L'inventaire se verrouille et nous permet d'interagir sur certains objets. Nous avons une belle carte interactive, un journal, le bouton menu nous donne accès aux récompenses, aux objectifs détaillés et à la superbe pièce abritant les nombreux objets de collection. De la difficulté pour tous les goûts et le bonheur d'avoir enfin la possibilité de changer le curseur pour la recherche des objets de collection. Des décors et des lieux absolument superbes, remplis de mystère, des cachettes à découvrir, des pièces secrètes à explorer, des actions diverses à accomplir. Nous rencontrons des êtres vraiment attachants qui nous aident à avancer en échange de nos services. Les personnages apparaissent dans l'interface pour s'exprimer et nous donner des indications importantes. Un voyage extraordinaire au cœur d'une culture ancienne, jalonné de 8 parchemins à trouver qui racontent l'histoire des êtres et des éléments, 30 objets métamorphes à déceler, des objets de 4 collections différentes à trouver et de nombreuses récompenses à remporter. Des scènes d'objets cachés superbes et passionnantes, chaque objet trouvé sert pour les actions suivantes, des mini-jeux sont inclus, elles sont vraiment géniales. Des énigmes magnifiques et très bien conçues, pas difficiles ou nouvelles pour certaines mais suffisamment divertissantes pour ne pas bouder son plaisir. Un final concluant pour " 3 Heures 55 " en mode facile. Le chapitre bonus n'est pas nécessaire, c'est une histoire à part, il est absolument génial et passionnant, il prolonge le plaisir de " 1 Heure 10 ", beaucoup de nouveaux lieux, même gameplay que l'aventure principale, avec comme objet de collection, des flasques à récupérer. Des suppléments géants : fonds d'écran, croquis, vidéos, musique, trophées, 18 mini-jeux à refaire, les bonus suivants sont à débloquer grâce aux objets de collection : 6 puzzles et 20 niveaux bonus superbement présentés, qui apportent du plaisir et une dose de réflexion. En plus de continuer à y gagner des récompenses, les suppléments permettent aussi, via " collections complètes " de repartir dans les deux aventures et de récupérer les objets manquants, on a accès à tous les éléments du jeu et c'est génial.

It has a nice short story with a bit of von Däniken’s and Star Gate mixed. Add a bit of Maya culture and ancient technology (“stone punk”) and then you have the setting. It’s not an empty world either but has some characters and an evil villain.
The voice acting was fine and the animations quite nice.
I can recommend this HOG.

A good quality casual hidden-object game, featuring elements of Central-America indigenous cultures applied to another world where your heroine gets accidentally teleported through a portal. Game features good graphics and audio, logical HOG scenes and puzzles, plenty collectibles and bonus games; on the downside there is (again) the illogical need to travel back-and-forth across the map to apply picked items. Overall the game is a good representative of the genre, and has been succeeded by two episodes more, which are well worth adding to your collection if you enjoy these types of games.

The Legacy 1: Forgotten Gates

SPIDER ALERT for you arachnophobes: There is one large, nasty-looking spider in the game.

Options include fully-customizable difficulty (which can be changed at any time), sync w/Steam Cloud and separate sliders for Music, Environment, Sound Effects and Voiceovers.

I would not categorize this as a Hidden Object Game, but rather as a Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure. The "hidden object" scenes are not your standard find-by-list, or even what you see, which is find-by-silhouette. These scenes are actually puzzles, where you need to use each and every item you find in the scene in order to progress. To increase the difficulty (and interest), there are multiple zoom-in areas that you need to interact with, as well.

This title is heavy on the adventuring, and items you find often need to be combined in order to become functional - sometimes more than once!

As you navigate through the game, be on the lookout for:
30 Morphing items - One per scene in the main story
42 Collectible Items - There are multiple types of collectibles, and you'll net an achievement for completing each set. 12 of these are found in the bonus chapter. *NOTE: You must complete all of the sets to unlock some of the puzzles in the Extras area.
8 Story Scrolls - Collect them all to unlock a mini-game in the Extras.
Your journal will track the story, of course, as well as info you may need in order to solve puzzles. I did not spot any spoilers in the diary.

The MAP is fully-interactive, depending on what difficulty level you have chosen. It will insta-transport regardless, but you also have the option of having it show you where active areas are and where you might have missed collectibles and morphing items.

Like other games by this developer, when something we try doesn't work, it tells us WHY it won't work. "I can't dig with my hands, the ground is too hard," for example.

21 Achievements - Puzzle achievements CAN be obtained by replaying them in the Extras section.
Integrated Strategy Guide, which is accessible from anywhere in the game. Not only a walkthrough, but also shows every collectible and puzzle solution.

This is not needed to have a "complete" story, like some bonus chapters... It's simply a mini-story that is related to the main game, but could easily be a standalone. Keep an eye out for some collectibles!

The music and sound effects are very nice, and the voice-overs were pretty good, as well! I really liked the graphics, the story was entertaining and the gameplay is top-notch.

This is another high-quality offering from FIVE-BN, and one which I thoroughly enjoyed. I believe that even people who don't usually like HOG's will enjoy this. Highly recommended!

But seriously, in the main game... Where were the guards of the Main Evil Guy? Did the Shaman beat them all up? If I were to do an evil plan... That required me to be immobile... I'd make damn sure that I am well guarded! Just saying.

Tłumaczenie dialogów z błędami gramatycznymi,ale nie zakłóca to sensu dialogu. Niektóre przedmioty przetłumaczone fatalnie jak. pałka - trzonek, kłębek nici - lina itp. Trzeba się domyślać lub próbować te złe nazwy dopasować do gry. Sama fabuła bardzo ciekawa i wciągająca. Jeżeli komuś kiepskie tłumaczenie nie przeszkadza to polecam. But something I didn't like was the loud sound of music that even when the characters were speaking the music was still loud I tried to go to the setting and put it down but that also put down the volume of the people speaking

Era tarde da noite e o museu estava quase vazio. Na exposição de artefatos maias, uma das exposições de repente começou a se mover. O som chamou a atenção de uma jovem chamada Diana, funcionária do museu e especialista em cultura maia. Jeu sympa. L'histoire est réduite au minimum (on arrive là et on cherche juste à rentrer chez nous) mais il y a pas mal de documents à trouver qui donnent un peu de background, il y a de jolies cinématiques, les SOC sont remplacées par des scènes "pick and use". Plusieurs séries d'objets à collectionner pour débloquer les puzzles bonus pour ceux qui aiment ça.

This was my first time playing The Legacy series. I thoroughly enjoyed this HOG. The puzzles were quite challenging and the HOG scenes done well. I loved the Aztec theme through out the game. Music was relaxing and fitted well with the theme.

I look forward to playing the next game in this series!

Think this is the beginning of the series. Anyway, the protagonist works at a museum where they are having a Mayan exhibit, when suddenly the large calendar wakes up and well… sends her to another world. While trying to find a way home, it appears she may well be a prophesied savior (who would have thought?). Can she find her way home? Save the world? Or the worlds?

HO scenes are fun, minigames challenging, and the plot engaging. Recommend in the bundle, just for ease of purchase.

Asi nejlepší hra s hledáním skrytých předmětů, co jsem dosud hrál. Hodně zajímavá, pěkná videa a odehráno na hard mód bez jedineho kliknutí na nápovědy atd. Svět jiného světa, kde obyvatele působí trochu vidlácky a zároveň ovládají magii i vyspělé technologie. Zajímavé. Do toho získání vlastní harpyje, což dá trošku zabrat, ale ten příbeh k tomu se mi zase líbil. Po dohrání je ještě bonusová hra za inžu a řešení problému s přerostlými stonožkami, které začaly ohrožovat obyvatele daného světa. Řešení docela troufalé. Ale i tahle bonusová nadstavba byla fajn a potěšila. Jen ta čeština v tom na mnoha místech dost hapruje, jako by to překládal cizinec.

Klasická hledačka. Vydavatel si drží svůj standard, ale v kontextu dalších her od FIVE-BN GAMES spíše průměr. Minihry jsou jednoduché, použití předmětů nepřekvapivé, příběh nijak strhující, ale dá se přežít. Grafika mi přišla méně propracovaná a nápaditá, navíc i kýčovitější než u jiných sérií (Lost Lands, New York Mysteries). Líbilo se mi zasazení do mayských kulis. Čeština je relativně slušná, až na několik úsměvných momentů. Osobní hodnocení: 6/10, závěr: pokud máte rádi oddechové a ne příliš složité hledačky, nebudete zklamaní.

Very good hidden object game. I have played twice at the time of this writing, so it's probably about 4.5 hours of play time. Normally I would give a thumbs-down because that's too short, but it was so much better than average, I'm giving it a thumbs-up anyway.

There was nothing unusual about this in the gameplay. It was a very standard hidden object game in that respect. What was good about it was just that it was high quality. Graphics were great. Puzzles were fun. The hidden object scenes were all the kind were it's sort of one big puzzle, not just a list like the old games.

They didn't lead you straight through the map (which I find very boring). However, there were some places where you had to run around a bit to use items. Some people don't like that, but I do.

Note that there are extra puzzles if you get all the collectibles, but I personally didn't like the type of puzzle. But some might find that to be a nice addition.

"Forgotten Gates" is the first episode of "The Legacy."

Since this is a collector's edition game, it comes with extra features that are not available in its counterpart; the standard edition.

I want to mention that the visuals in the game are well done. The visuals can be adjusted in the game's option menu.

Game Audio

I want to mention that audio for the game is well done. Even though the audio is somewhat simplistic and repetitive. The audio can be adjusted in the game's option menu as well.

Gameplay

There are four different difficulty game modes to choose from: Casual; Advanced; Hard and Custom.

The notebook keeps track of progression in the game. Such as story events and clues.

There is an interactive map in the game. It allows the player to fast travel between each location quickly without having the need to constantly backtrack. It also indicates that there are a variety of tasks that can be completed at various locations within the game. The interactive map is not automatically given at the start of the game.

There is no padlock feature available to lock the inventory panel in place. The inventory panel is stationary.

There are some interactive items in the game. Some of the interactive items may require extra components before they can be interacted with. All interactive items are marked with a symbol in one of the corners.

The hidden object scenes consist of the following: Shadow items. Some of these hidden objects may require little or no interaction.

The puzzles are fairly easy to solve without having the need to skip any of them. Most of the puzzles can be replayed in the game's extra feature section.

There are four sets of collectibles in the game: Stone Heads; Pyramids; Decorated Skulls; Deity Statuettes; Clay Flask and Story Scrolls. They are scattered throughout the game for the player to find.

There are morphing objects (beyond objects) in the game. They are scattered throughout the game for the player to find as well.

There are twenty different achievements that can be unlocked from playing the game. Each of these achievements does come with some requirements that need to be completed before they can be unlocked.

Since this is a collector's edition game, there is a bonus chapter, but it can be accessed only after the main story is completed.

Miscellaneous

There are extra features in the game: Bonus Puzzles; Wallpapers; Concept Art; Soundtrack; Cutscenes and Game's Strategy Guide. Most of these extra features can be accessed only after the entire game is completed.

Final thoughts: I have found the game developer's method of advertising their other games is unappealing. The advertisement pops up before the actual game loads. They have already advertised their other games in the 'More Games' section.

Other than that I have found the game enjoyable to a certain extent. The replay value for the game is low. I would recommend this game, but not at the game's full price value.

Bon jeu.
Joli et casses tête de bon niveau sans être trop compliqués. Le bonus est un "vrai" jeu qui dure quasiment aussi longtemps que le jeu principal.

Just a fun, good looking HOG, with plenty of Steam features (cheevos, trading cards, etc.), that is a very decent length for the price of the game.

Positives:
- Graphics - Clean, evocative, pretty, and with a wonderful Meso-American/Science-Fiction aesthetic. Nice!
- Music - Well, it's not bad......seriously, how many people play HOGs for their sweeping orchestral nuances? It's more than functional, and it doesn't grate on the ears at all.
- Gameplay - A nice assortment of hidden object puzzles of the traditional sort, plus hidden object puzzles of the sort where you must assemble objects while solving mini-puzzles to complete the final object, as well as the usual slew of mini-games/puzzles (sliding blocks, etc.) a few of which are quite different from the usual Artifex Mundi style. In fact, truth be told, I'm rapidly coming to enjoy 5-BN Games HOGs more than Artifex Mundi's latest output. The mini-games are less samey, the graphics are usually prettier, and the plots are less brutally rote and insipid.
- Length - Between the main game, the bonus chapter, and the extra games in the main menu that you will unlock, this is a very decent sized game.

Negatives: Not really any to speak of (look, HOGs are a genre of their own, and anytime a game avoids some of the more annoying and increasingly prevalent pitfalls of the genre, it's hard to criticize; I realize that's meeting a low-bar/giving a back-handed compliment, but it is what it is.)

Returning this. It isn't old, but it really feels that way. The puzzles aren't that interesting, the story meh and it feels very historically inaccurate. Some people might not care but you just don't get carts with wheels with the Mayans. Also the game felt a bit thin, don't know how to explain better but just that nobody cared enough to get things right, and not just the cartwheels. Not planning to invest in this series.

Cut scenes: - Very nice cut scenes during the game especially the start which merges in the main screen.
Background Art: Clear, sharp, very easy on the eye and presented well. Some of the background were really good in places.
Graphic objects are also good to look at and easy to understand.

Sounds
The soundtrack music was really good as they enhance the game very well with the tribal drums and pan flute playing away during the game. It even better when you listen to them on there own
Immersive atmosphere sounds was also good
Voice acting was not bad.

The character animation looks very flat along with the bad lip sync when meeting them for the first time during the game.
Adventure story is perhaps a bit too straight forward, so no surprises or revelations as you progress.

I really enjoyed the story idea, setting, atmosphere, adventure play, mini-puzzles and collectable hunting and I loved the map. However, I detest sequenced/chain hidden object scenes. I am already doing sequenced events in my adventure play; hidden object scenes are suppose to be a different type of play. This was made worse in this game by there being multiple pop-up windows in the hidden object scenes, so you have search thru the scene and multiple windows for a silhouette of a your-guess-is-as-good-as-mine object which might not yet be in play or even visible, By the time I was three quarters of the way thru the game I was fed up with them and the game due to them. If you love this type of hidden object scenes, I highly recommend this game. If you are not a fan if them, I would give it a pass.

The Legacy: Forgotten Gates is a puzzle/hidden object game with a solid story, good cutscenes and insanely tough mini games.

The story:
The female protagonist works as an archeologist in South America and is sucked through a portal into another dimension and has to get home. The dimension she finds herself in is a lot like ancient South America including shamans. Humans and wildlife look just slightly different. The story is told with fitting grandeur, likeable side characters appear and for about three quarters of the main game I like the pace and the direction it’s headed. There were parts I really loved, like when the protagonist has to create and ride a harpy. In the last quarter we meet the villain who plans to destroy our earth without us getting to know why. Standard James Bond plot: pity.

Graphics:
They are not HD quality, but landscapes are sculpted with great care. Cutscenes have a cinematic quality as there is nice camera panning and the images shown make sense. Everything is just a bit blurry, but this game is several years old so it’s understandable. The age of the game means that most of the animated characters look a bit cartoony as well, texture quality is not really high. Still, I like the rather gritty look of this game. It’s not overly cute like lots of other HOG’s.

Sound:
Ambient sounds and voice-acting are well done. The music in the cutscenes has the same cinematic quality as the images. The background music is a bit dull with a pan flute droning on.

HOP’s and mini games.
The mini games made me feel depressed in the end :) Well I am only partly joking. Never have I skipped so many mini games before. I guess I gave up on more than half of them. The ones that I could solve on the other hand were sometimes so easy I felt insulted. Therefore I did not enjoy the mini games at all. They are really tough versions of well known puzzles like ring rotating, swapping beads etc. Two or three times I just didn’t get what to do.
There are not many HOP’s in this game and they are all “find and use” ones. In some of them you have to solve tough mini games, so I didn’t really enjoy most of the HOP’s either.

Overall gameplay:
Most of the point-and-click action feels logical and when you receive a knife then you get to keep it instead of looking for a knife again and again. If you get stuck you can always consult your map. It tells you where there’s an action to take and if there is a collectible in the scene. You get two types of collectibles: clay objects and morphing objects. Find all of them to unlock bonus puzzles in the extras menu.
There is a lot of jumping back and forth, but you can backtrack to all areas if you missed a collectible.
There is an annoying bug at the end of the game (Mac version). Text balloons of spoken dialogue take more than a minute to disappear and the spoken words repeat themselves up to three times.

The bonus part:
One of the side characters is now the protagonist so the story is unrelated to main game. The plot itself is entertaining enough and keeps you dabbling in the same fantastic world the main game took place in. There are collectibles in the bonus part as well and to get the 100% achievement for mini games and HOP's you have to finish those in the bonus part as well.

I find it just as difficult to recommend this game as not to recommend it. I like the story and the general atmosphere of this game and would rate this side of the game 8/10, but at he end I so much hated the mini games that they receive a 2/10 from me. Overall I’d rate this game 5/10. I guess that if you are really good at mini games and like the very tough ones then you will deeply enjoy this game. The price is rather low so you should see for yourself.

The first half of story line is boring and so are the puzzles. It's like FIVE-BN GAMES zapped it out without reviewing. The music is almost not there and what is there is repetitive. I have played many FIVE-BN GAMES and this one is the worst. The reason I recommend is if you purchase on sale than the second half is worth the play.

This was my first hidden object game and first adventure game, and what a way to start. The story may have been somewhat simple, but it was still good, with no plot holes or other problems. At first, I was a bit turned off by the hidden object screens because they show silhouettes of items to collect (instead of full-color images or names), so you don't really know what you're looking for. However, it turned out that that wasn't a problem, and it didn't detract one bit from my enjoyment of those scenes or the game in general. There was quite a bit of backtracing, but using the map to jump between locations ensured it wasn't annoying, boring, or time-consuming. Perhaps one of the best things about this game is that all of the inventory interactions, including using inventory items on other inventory items, actually made sense. There were no nonsensical usages like those you hear about in other adventure games.

If I were to think of anything as negative (or simply as not positive), it would have been some of the voiceovers. Some of them felt as though the actors were simply reading the script, without appropriate inflections and without conveying the emotions indicated by the words. However, even with that in mind, I enjoyed this game very much.

Being new to HOGs and adventure games, it took me a bit over 6 hours to finish this game, so I'd say it was well worth the price. All-in-all, I'm very happy with this purchase, and consider this a near-perfect introduction to the HOG and adventure genres.

Lastly, although the game's title and description don't indicate it (the image does), this is the Collector's Edition of the game, with the bonus chapter.

Ein Wimmelbildspiel welches umfangreich ist und auf jeden Fall einen Daumen hoch bekommt. In den einzelnen Wimmelbildszenen sucht man Silhouetten um einen Gegenstand zu bekommen, der ein Weiterspielen ermöglicht. Das ständige Switchen zwischen den Orten ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, fällt allerdings leicher wenn man das mögliche Ziel einfach auf der Karte sucht und dort hinreist. Die Grafik ist liebevoll gestaltet und ein Bonuskapitel rundet den Spielspass ab.
Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die vielleicht nervige Musik, die aber bestimmt Geschmacksache ist.

I enjoyed this game very much. The graphics are beautiful -- grand cutscenes, beautiful locations. You're transported to another planet and get help from a people who are similar to the Mayans of Earth but are not exactly the same. There are lots of locations that remind me of an Indiana Jones movie, which for me was a positive.

As always, you can access any minigame in the extras menu after unlocking it in story mode, and that helps you get the achievements that are "do such and such in under 2 mins" or "under 40 moves" etc. I really love this feature, because it's fun to get better at a particular game, but I would absolutely hate having to play through the entire game again just to access the puzzle. This way you can do it over and over until you get it right.

You get bonus puzzles and a bonus minigame with 20 levels after you get all the collectibles in story mode. Some people don't like this feature because they want to get all the achievements for the game without doing them, but I personally like them. I feel like it gives me more bang for my buck, something to do after I've beaten the game.

If you're an Artifex Mundi person and have never played a Five-BN game, I would recommend playing at least one to see if you like the style. If you don't like it, then you don't need to buy any more. But you might end up loving it like I do, and that opens up a whole bunch of games to try. (I was running out of Artifex Mundi games that piqued my interest.)

Hvis man tidligere har spillet spil fra FIVE-BN Games og kunne lide dem, bliver man ikke skuffet, det er samme opskrift som eksempelvis Lost Lands, man spiller med en kvinde der ender i en anden verden, som man skal slippe hjem fra og undervejs møder, hjælper og redder forskellige figurer eks. shamaner. Det gode ved spillet at der er udfordringer, men ikke for svære og der er en god blanding af finde ting og Hidden Objekt scener. Et klassisk FIVE-BN Games spil der gør hvad det skal og hvad man forventer.
Et godt spil for dem der er fans af denne genre og et godt spil hvis man vil i gang med denne genre.

Il m'arrive parfois d'acheter des jeux sans trop connaitre ni le studio, ni l'éditeur... histoire d'ouvrir mon horizon. Et dans le cas de The legacy: forgotten gates, je dois avouer que je ne le regrette en rien. Pour les points forts, je dirai que la traduction française est pour une fois agréable à lire. Ca change de certains hidden. L'histoire se laisse suivre sans déplaisir même si la fin me semble quelque peu "jeté" genre il fallait bien le fini le jeu...
Il est à noter que ce n'est pas hidden à proprement parler, il faut surtout chercher un objet dans une scène pour découvrir le suivant (la clef ouvre le coffre qui permet d'obtenir le masque... enfin vous voyez l'idée).
Le seul bémol que je mettrai serait sur la qualité des vidéos... Pour une fois que l'on avait des cut scènes en 3D précalculées, la résolution n'est pas adaptée à des grands écrans (29" dans mon cas) et c'est bien dommage car les décors du jeu sont jolis avec une palette de couleur chatoyante et la découverte des objets et de leurs utilisations pas prise de tête.
Tout cela pour dire qu'au final, on passe un bon moment et je ne saurais trop vous recommander de vous y essayer.

[b][i]The Legacy: Forgotten Gates[/i][/b] is a casual Hidden Object Game, a nice one.
The story is good and the atmosphere/ambiance where it takes place is great.
The graphics are really nice too.

For those who played the [b][i]Lost Lands[/i][/b] serie (same developper), the universe of [b][i]The Legacy: Forgotten Gates[/i][/b] is quite similar. The universe is an excellent mixture of ancient civilizations and advanced technology, with a touch of magic.. all this taking place in some kind of other world or planet.

I liked the music and the whole soundtrack, [u]but[/u] the female characters voices (especially the young one/teenage girl, I found to be irritating and unrealistic).
The music is eclectic and really feats the story.

Although I usually don't like cutscenes, I have to admit that the videos in [b][i]The Legacy: Forgotten Gates[/i][/b] are beautiful. Some of them are truly awesome, even spectacular.

The overall art style of the game is pleasant.

As far as the gameplay is concerned it's very decent and I appreciated both my playthroughs.
Good game pace.
A map allows you to quickly travel from one location to another

Puzzles/mini-games rank from easy to average.
I liked the H.O. Scenes. They are the dynamic kind, also known as H.O. Puzzles, where you are to interact objects between them in order to trigger other mecanisms. I find them more interesting than H.O.S. by list.

Achievements are not hard to get.

I really don't understand why so few people are reviewing or recommending this game. It's a shame because it has everything a game requires to please H.O.Games fans : a fantastic story, a great adventure, several characters, strange funny or scary critters..
It just lacks visibility, I guess. But considering the price it's worth giving it a try.

The game was fun but very short-lived. I spent maybe 3 hours before completing it and the bonus level. I would recommend giving a timer for the hints like many other games and not allowing people to skip every puzzle so quickly. For the price, it was great.
