This game gets way too much hate, it has none of the charm of the Guild 2, but it is also not terrible, for once I like the fact I can play an entire playthrough without it CTDing.
The whole game feels emptier like there is less to do and less quirky and funny things to look at while playing. it might be the modern clean interface, it might just be that Versengold is not coming to play at your tavern.

I really can't complain about the changes they made to the rpg elements, i appreciate being able to specialize in different trees without having to have characters from a specific path.
It is also nice to be able to adopt a child right away so I can avoid the whole courting interaction which for me only detracted from the experience in the old game.
Another welcome addition is now having to send your family members off into trade ventures to open up certain trade routes around the map, that is just a really good idea.
Natural resources(Mines, Forestries...) have to be leased now which in theory sounds great but is actually a pain in the ass most of the time because you need to check every day before 12 o'clock if you are still winning every auction.
Politics have been streamlined into a single static political structure per map instead of having different cities which eventually can increase in size and thus develop a more complex political landscape like we were used to.
You can no longer recruit workers at different skill levels, now they are generated for you. This is extremely annoying with transports because you can't just hire a guy with a carriage you have to recruit a random guy that will first need to level up. Then when he has level 4 you have to go to the market with him and only then can you buy a carriage for him to ride around. Now do this for every single transport, it is a chore.
In the Guild 2 most buildings could be improved into bigger versions and in this game most have no improvement and are restricted to only villages or cities.
At times the interface shows lack of love in that elements clip over other elements and you can't see the options clearly, some buttons are extremely small and others like the drag and drop button to delete items are comically large.

If this game had had mod support and was priced at less than 30 euros it would have been a hit with a great following. It deeply needs content, modders or dlc could have been the solution but whoever was in charge of this project dropped the ball here and others capitalized. City Skylines and Banished come to mind.
In 2026 I would recommend you look into Saelig if you want a game like The Guild 2 which unlike this game, is full of soul. If you want to go more into the city building aspect then you also have plenty of options around for way better value than this.

Mimo że The Guild 3 potrafi wciągnąć, to wciąż mam wrażenie, że „dwójka” była bardziej dopracowana i miała lepszy flow rozgrywki.
Gameplay jako taki jest okej — rozwijanie dynastii, prowadzenie biznesów, polityka miejska, to wszystko nadal daje frajdę i potrafi przykuć na długie godziny. Klimat serii został zachowany i jeśli ktoś lubi powolne, ekonomiczno‑społeczne symulacje, to znajdzie tu sporo zabawy.
Niestety, są też minusy, które trudno zignorować:
- Problemy z synchronizacją czasu w multiplayerze — potrafi się rozjechać tak, że każdy gra jakby w innym tempie, co psuje całą dynamikę wspólnej rozgrywki.
- Kłopoty z dołączaniem do siebie — czasem trzeba kilka razy próbować, restartować lobby albo grę, żeby w ogóle wejść do wspólnej sesji.
- Interfejs momentami sprawiają wrażenie, jakby wymagały jeszcze jednej rundy szlifów.
Mimo tych wad ogólnie oceniam grę pozytywnie, bo ma swój urok, a kiedy wszystko działa, potrafi dać naprawdę satysfakcjonujące momenty. Po prostu szkoda, że niektóre problemy techniczne nadal potrafią wybić z rytmu.

The in-game mechanics are quite interesting, however.
There are 3 body types, normal, chubby and obese.
For a medieval game, it is extremely uncommon for the game to have 2/3 of the characters be overweight, you never see medieval peasants portrayed as fat because that is insane they ate mostly flat bread.
So I am giving this a negative review for the historical inaccuracy.
I sincerely don't know what was going through the devs minds when making this like this, it is clearly not appealing, and certainly not accurate or normal for that time period.

Im Vergleich zu Gilde 1 und 2 ist es einfach nur schlecht.
Ich erkenne einfach keine Möglichkeiten für echte Intrigen. Auch die Politik ist in Gilde 2 deutlich besser.
Gilde 3 läuft auf den ersten Blick stabiler, aber das war auch schon.

Недолугі кострубаті анімації. Давно таких жахливих анімацій не бачив навіть серед найдешевших інді-ігор 20-річної давнини.

Ігролад неймовірно спрощений та примітизований порівняно з Ґільдією Ренесансу (самостійне доповнення до другої частини, фактично незалежна гра, яка є найкращою у серії). Багатьох механік не вистачає або ж вони не розкриті: ремесла спрощені, торгівля спрощена, система хитрощів та підступів не важлива взагалі, владні посади у кращому випадку можуть вплинути тільки на суд і закони. У другій Ґільдії набагато цікавіше, глибше. Загалом гра не відповідає духу часів, які вона покликана показати. Це практично аркада з елементами симулятора, без натяку на реалістичність, хоча тут немає некромантії.

Та що казати, коли персонажа можна створити з напрочуд обмеженого вибору як для 2022 року. Лишається тільки створити кумедного товстуна і бігати по місту, вирізати всі інші династії. Української офіційної локалізації немає, хіба мод.

Висновок: грайте у The Guild 2 Renaissance.

It is fun to manage different building types in different enviroments, but it has some major problems as well.

First of all there are a lot of options to roleplay and the athmosphere is relatively calm.

after a while though you notice most of the functions are not usefull. Just sending your family members on boast achievements is more money saving then replacing them as workers in one of your buildings, since it saves you having to bribe people for influence (still got to bribe people, but less then otherwise). Also none of the items or options to sabotage another dynasty is usefull, its much to costly. AI has infinite money it seems so they dont care: when they strike back you get continuously bombed, yes, non-stop no breaks in between, their growth is linked to reputation mostly noticable by the robber AI's always growing really fast. But for you as a player paying reputation of several hundred coins per item that barely does anything isnt worth it. Just send a henchmen to kill the faction leader and its done.

then there is production and transporting issues: having an order for say 40 fish, or 40 flowers, with 3 workers, will make them grab 60 in total because all 3 workers will be sent to gather the ingredients and they gather 20 each. So after a while you have 400 flowers and you have to remove flowers from the production queue, only to add them back in again later. Next to that transporters will only sell what you dont use in your production queue. So they wont sell the flowers or fish. Nor will they bring it to any warehouse, unless you stop making products with said flowers. So if you want to set up a transport system with a warehouse, you waste space for 2 money making businesses. So in the end I just send the transporters to buy the flowers and focus my workers on the production....

So in practical terms this game is unplayable almost. There is only 1 strategy to apply (boast about your achievements troughout the game, get some production buildings, let transporters buy all the ingredients for your final products, upgrade title, get more buildings, repeat. easy sovereign, just kill all enemy factions who get citizen title. Anything else you do is wasting money and slowing you down.

Thats where the roleplay comes in. You can actually follow and torture a dynasty with various items and options quite well. You will lose a ton of money and influence though, but it is possible. Just have to manage your enemies.

Dont bother with allies btw, it has almost no function (sometimes they praise you, boosting your reputation, thats about it. Dynastic trade is way to expensive anyway compared to just killing the faction and build your own structure.

So yeah, a lot of the game seem to be concepts added that where never really balanced out or playtested, it was fun enough for the price i got it for though.

Gilde 3 war ein bisschen wie ein ankommen in die Jugend. Ich habe früher unglaublich viel Gilde 1 Gold gespielt, vor allem im Multiplayer über ganze Wochenende und war immer enttäuscht wenn sich das Spiel aufgehängt hatte und man wieder von vorne beginnen musste. Das ist hier bei Gilde 3 nicht mehr der Fall es ist super stabil im Multiplayer.

Es ist quasi Gilde 1 gestreamlined+modernisiert und wenn man nicht mehr so viel Zeit hat sehr angenehm wieder zu spielen. Das liebe ich sehr!

Für wichtig halte ich sich 1-2 Videos auf Youtube für einen guten Spielstart anzuschauen, dadurch haben ich mein early Play extrem verbessert. Da das Tutorial nicht Ideal ist.

Ich vermisse ein bisschen die Ratssitzungen mit den Aussagen "räumt den Sessel leer!" oder "Absetzen sage ich", auch das Glücksspiel in der Kneipe beim Würfel fehlt leider. Aber das waren schöne Nettigkeiten die das Erlebnis nicht schmälern.

Viel Kritik kann ich zum Teil verstehen wenn man Gilde 2 gespielt hat und freier im Aufbau seiner Produktion sein möchte, das ist bei Gilde 3 reduziert, da man immer mit jedem Rang nur 1 oder selten 2 neue Produktionsgebäude bauen darf.
Was wirklich nervig ist, ist das RNG beim Start in größeren Städten einem Probleme bereitet die Grundressourcen zu bekommen da Minen, Steinbrüchen, Wäldern etc. manchmal nicht in der Nähe sind bzw. "nicht zugänglich" und Märkte durch aus ausverkauft sein können.

im Ganzen macht es wirklich Spaß und ist für Spieler mit eingeschränkter Spielzeit sehr zu empfehlen. Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall schon sehr auf den 4 Teil der hoffentlich zeitnah erscheint.

I put about 60 hours into this because I love the concept.

On paper, this should be incredible. Medieval dynasty sim. Run businesses. Manipulate politics. Marry strategically. Destroy rival families over generations.

And yet it never truly comes alive.

The systems are there, but they feel shallow once you understand them. Businesses become solved loops. Politics lack real tension. Rival families rarely feel like genuine threats. You spend more time waiting for timers than making meaningful decisions.

There are flashes of brilliance. Moments where a chain of production works smoothly or a political move shifts the board. But those moments are buried under clunkiness and repetition.

This feels like a framework for a great game that never reached its potential.

At $30, this is hard to recommend.

At $5, as a curiosity sandbox to poke at for a weekend, sure.

I don’t regret the time I spent with it. I regret that it never evolved into what it promised to be.

Pas mal de choses cassent mon immersion dans ce jeu. C'est vraiment le type de jeu où si l'immersion n'y est pas, ça ne passe pas. Quelques exemples comme ça : les pnj qui se plaignent sans arrêt que tu les regardent ou que tu leur clic dessus, les dialogues souvent bizarres, parfois même avec des défauts d'enregistrement en studio (mot coupé à la fin de certains texte), les apparences incohérentes des personnages (les deux tiers de la population semblent extrêmement bien nourri, alors que bon c'est le moyen âge quoi, a part les rois peu de gens mangeaient a leur faim, ce qui s'explique simplement par le fait que les devs ont mis 3 carrures : normal/gros/très gros avec 33% de chance pour chacune sans plus réfléchir, ce qui est incohérent même de nos jours). De même il y a des juges ou même le maire qui vont en réunion déguisés en médecin de la peste, et des roturiers en habits royaux transportant du bétail cherchez pas la logique. Des fois en effectuant des actions on doit choisir des options de dialogue mais qui ne changent rien aux chances de réussites donc osef, des fois on ne sait pas quels sont les chances de réussites des actions, des fois on ne sait pas vraiment ce qu'un dialogue ou une action aura comme conséquences. En fait ça fait très remplissage en mode "regarder vous pouvez faire plein de choses" mais il n'y a pas beaucoup d'effort de fait pour rendre tous les dialogues et actions cohérentes et impactantes. J'ai aussi joué a the guild 2 et je préfère le 3 pour une chose : pas de désynchronisation en multijoueur, ça c'est chouette qu'ils aient résolu ce bug. Sinon je ne dirais pas que le 3 est un gros upgrade sur le 2, il serait juste mieux si l'immersion était un peu plus présente et si les personnes en charge du gameplay faisait l'effort de brainstormer un peu avant d'implanter des possibilités pour les joueurs d'interagir sur le monde, pour être sure qu'elle soit compréhensible, impactante et pas redondante. J'essaie de jouer avec un nouveau joueur et je vois par ses yeux que les deux tiers des mécaniques causent beaucoup de confusion pour les nouveaux joueurs. Par exemple la drague : la strat est de ne faire que l'action complimenter. Tous les autres boutons a droite? On les ignore car le seul où l'on sait le pourcentage de réussite est le bouton complimenter, donc si tu ne veux pas perdre de temps a jouer a la roulette, tu ne les utilise pas. De même le jeu ne nous explique pas vraiment les logiques de stockage et de production, ni l'utilité de certains bâtiments comme les résidences ou l'entrepot, qui peuvent pourtant s'avérer cruciaux (d'ailleurs pourquoi les patriciens n'ont pas un statut suffisant pour vivre dans les maisons de patriciens?). Cela creuse un désavantage entre les nouveaux joueurs qui vont galérer avec les incohérences et non-dits du jeu et ceux qui ont l'habitude, et mettre automatiquement les nouveaux joueurs en position de désavantage, ce qui n'est pas terrible dans un jeu qui se veut compétitif. Allez, un petit point positif quand même : le design du monde et des bâtiments est très joli. J'aime beaucoup les intérieurs, dommage qu'il n'y en ai pas sur les bâtiments de prod comme dans le 2.

Наиграв в огромное количество в Guild 2 в темную эру технологий, попробовав сейчас 3-ю часть я не понял смысла игры в корне, она буквально не мотивирует делать что либо.

Начну с очевидных для меня минусов, которые снижали моё погружение в игру.
- Социальное взаимодействие деградировало до 1-2 кнопки, не то чтобы в предыдущей игре их было гораздо больше, но всё равно предполагало некую пластичность в действиях.
- Политический аспект игры так же ухудшился, должности ничего не дают, кроме пассивного заработка золота и нового ресурса "влияния". Полноценные выборы исчезли, а суды из интересного кинематографичного опыта превратились в игровую условность, чтобы разбойники имели хоть какой то фактор сдерживания.
- Новые профессии лишены ролевой составляющей, например я выбрал менестреля в ожидании возможности разыграть классический образ средневекового барда, но вместо возможностей я получил 2 кнопки сыграть на улице и сыграть на сцене своей палатки, без какой либо перспективы к росту.

И так во всём, имея хорошую обложку мы имеем абсолютно пустое содержание, поэтому однозначно негативное впечатление от игры

Don't believe the boomer cope. Having played Guild 2 and Guild 3 back to back, I can say, this game is better. Guild 2 is also an okay game, but the quality of life improvements in this game make it so much better. Jank and bugs are not a feature. Both games get boring after like 20ish hours though, entertaining until that point.

Everyone told me to hate this game. Alas I cannot. It's a great game. Things I don't like about it. I don't like that you cannot start from the very bottom. I would love to start by begging. I don't think it's a great idea to have the begging feature and not utilise it. I don't like you get a free 500 reputation research slot and a 1000 gold Profession slot for free. On impossible mode this could be removed to make the game more challenging. I've looked at so many reviews saying that Guild 3 isn't as good as 2. I have purchased 2 and I will continue to play it to understand what they are saying. But I think The Guild 3 is incredible. You can really feel the Transport Fever Itch being scratched as well as Anno and Vic 3 genres. I'm a bit gutted I didn't find this three years ago when it came out. I'm excited for 4 and I'm hoping that this review makes people buy this game as it is well worth the price tag. I honestly believe that the reviews shouldn't be as bad as they are. Perhaps Early Access was buggy and incomplete. But the full version of G3 is very good. I've played the tutorial and a scenario in Paris on my stream and I can 100% say that I do not believe any of the bad reviews should be taken seriously anymore. Also the game can be modded if you want to make the game more balanced. I have not tried it yet but I'm debating it just to see if I can remove professions and make it just that little but harder. Free game is the way to go on the modes. I hope this helps people who are on the fence about buying this product.

Купив збірку зі всіх частин гільдій , грав 4 дні в другу частину , офігівав з крутості гри. Зайшов в тройку це просто мусор , в будівлі неможна зайти , щоб зробити якусь дію за персонажа треба постійно клікати зліва знизу а не наводити як було в двійці , гра мала такий потенціал але все було вбито . I really like The Guild, especially the idea behind The Guild 3. Right now, I’m really disappointed because the developers are working on a new game, The Guild – Europe 1410. In general, it would be nice if they made a new game, but the biggest issue is that they never really finished The Guild 3. The Guild 3 is not well patched and still needs a lot of work to feel like a finished game.

O jogo tem muita coisa pra fazer, e pouco tutorial de como fazer. Infelizmente é um jogo pra publico seleto. Eu não fiz muito e ainda da pra fazer muita coisa. Infelizmente falta um tutorialzinho. Jogo é bom, tem uns bugzinhos mas da pra jogar.. A Steam é "Sim" ou "Não".. Esse é meio termo pra mais.

新作が出る前に格安だったので、古い感じの作品でしたが値段分は楽しめました。
定価だと、どうだろう？
グラフィックは2026年時点でかなり荒い感じ、キャラクターも古き洋ゲーな男なのか女なのかわからない人々。音楽は良い（DLCサントラも買いました）。キャラクターは多いですが、多分そんなの重くないと思います。
ゲーム内容は太閤立志伝の縮小版といった感じで、選択した都市を牛耳る（別に牛耳らなくても良い）のを目指すゲーム。難易度はプレイ次第で楽にも檄難にもなりそうですが、自分なりの人生をロールプレイして、その世界を生きるというコンセプトは満たしています。
自分の一族で議会を乗っ取っていくのは、なかなかに楽しく、好き放題できるようになるまでが楽しいです。逆に好き放題できるようになるとゲームの寿命という感じもしますが。
表示される確率は宛にならないです。90％10回連続で失敗することもあれば、50％を10回連続で成功したりもしました。確率はそんな感じですが、一番の不満点はクールタイム。正直設定ミスと思えるような長さを待たされます。マルチプレイ用なのかもしれませんが、はっきり言ってシングルプレイでは時間の無駄です。設定でオンオフか、せめて時間を設定できるようにしてほしかったです。
とまあ、不満点はこんなところです。

Meu personagem decidiu fazer uma grande viagem. Cara, rica, deixou esposa, filhos e uma dinastia promissora para trás.
A viagem foi cara, luxuosa, daquelas que mudam uma vida.
Mudou mesmo. Ele morreu.
Descobri então, da forma mais medieval possível, que a esposa não herda a dinastia. Os filhos eram menores. Game over.
Fiquei em silêncio olhando a tela, refletindo sobre a fragilidade do poder… e dos autosaves.
Dito isso: jogo 10/10. Surpresa extrema, experiência autêntica, sistema cruel como a Idade Média deveria ser. Recomendo muito.
Dica importante: salve sempre. Sempre mesmo. Sempre.

Das Spiel wurde nie wirklich fertig entwickelt und anscheinend wird schon am nächsten Teil gearbeitet. Die Basis von die Gilde 3 war gut, aber ist mehr eine early early Alpha, ein Prototyp der nie in ein richtiges Spiel entwickelt wurde. Die Info, dass schon am Nachfolger gebastelt wird finde ich irgendwie unangebracht und dann auch noch als Gilde 3 Ankündigung bei Steam. Zu mindestens wird sich wohl doch eingestanden das die Gilde 3 nicht mehr zu retten ist. Wer doch Interesse hat sollte sich die Gilde 2 anschauen, ist zwar auch verbuggt wie sonst was, aber hat zu mindestens einen kompletten Gameplay-loop und macht richtig viel Spaß.

Купил эту игру, чтобы поиграть с другом, а при сетевой игре, даже просто на этапе создания сервера - краш. Пробовали ВПН - не загружает сетевую игру. Не делаю возврат, жду исправлений. Разработчики, решите эту проблему.

В Кооперативе игра постоянно вылетает при подключении к сети или создании сессии. Это первая игра в которую после покупки нельзя поиграть. Пока не починят, не стоит ее покупать, благо через стим ее можно вернуть.

The guild series have always been an ambitious title with niche player base, It would have worked as a multiplayer game for friends to hang out despite its bugs and other balances. If it would at the very least fixed its connectivity and hosting, the game might had a lasting lifespan. But the developers or even publishers wouldnt even listen to the public ramblings of all its problems, the sequel is a big no from me unless it is able to garner back mainstream support.

В целом игра скорее понравилась, т.к. напомнила мне о том периоде когда мне было 14-15 лет. когда я играл в "Guild II" которая была у меня еще на двух cd дисках.)) Я прошел династическую кампанию за 50+ часов (47 игровых лет) и понял что 3-я часть серии отличаетя от второй тем, что 3-я более упрощенная в части управления и экономики так не показалось.
