By far the most engaging and visually fun incremental game I've ever played

The great "inflation simulator." A game where a two person apartment starts at $12 but is over 1.5G (billion) by the end. 😅
It's a fun little game. My first time playing a Clicker/incremental. It took me 18 hours across 4 games to pass it. I sometimes had trouble getting the pile to grow in the end game, until I figured out what combination of upgrades to get and which to skip.

An Idle game that requires you to meta build is kind of annoying to be honest. All things should work to varying degrees but in Gnorp there is but few paths. I want to like this game for the graphics alone but it's not enough, not as enjoyable as other idlers.

After playing a bunch of idlers on and off over the years, this was the one that finally got me hooked on the genre. Loved the simple graphics, gameplay loop and progression. Every small upgrade feels rewarding and trying to see how various upgrades affect the gameplay is also fun. I also have to add that the art style and animation were phenomenal to my eyes.
I have since played many other idlers but this will always have a special place. I give this a 9,5/10.

The Gnorp Apologue est un jeu vraiment amusant et particulièrement addictif.
La grande force du titre réside dans son système d'évolution. Il y a énormément d'améliorations à débloquer au cours d'une partie, et la progression conservée après chaque session rend le jeu toujours plus intéressant et stratégique.
La boucle de gameplay est parfaitement dosée et laisse beaucoup de liberté au joueur. On peut tout à fait faire durer sa session pour le simple plaisir contemplatif de voir l'écran exploser et se remplir de pixels, ou choisir d'écourter la partie pour recommencer rapidement en appliquant de nouvelles améliorations.
En résumé : C'est une excellente découverte et un jeu que je recommande les yeux fermés si vous aimez le genre !

Very cute, fun to discover synergies between upgrades, some upgrades can definitely mess up your existing strategies, so read carefully.

Very fun game, worth the price! The endgame is a bit tricky but if you have to leave it running in the background it's probably a hint to try a different strategy.
the spice must flow
Decent short idle game. I was expecting to have a bit more fun, but the game and mechanics aren't very deep. Some units (namely drones and mountaineers) seemed fairly pointless, but maybe they're useful in a different type of build that I didn't go for. Mostly easy achievements as well.
All-in-all, the game is decent fun, even if it didn't meet my expectations. A solid "alright". Music was pretty good, though.

This is an incremental game, however it has an ending and doesn't overstay its welcome. You can practically beat it in one sitting if you spend an evening on it. Very simple and fun. It definitely hits that numbers go up satisfaction and has interesting things to see on screen so you aren't just watching numbers go up. Talent tree system and upgrades can make runs pretty different. It's just fun.

How in current year is there not a mute when out of focus option that works correctly.
I finished it, but I didn't really enjoy it. There's a few things you can do in the prestige tree and during runs that feel like they screw you over instead of helping you. All you can do to fix that is abandon your run which will often get you nothing. The progression didn't feel smooth. Maybe I went in with too high expectations from other people's good reviews, but I really just didn't like it.

While Cookie Clicker is the monolith of the genre which will likely never be topped, this is a super fun and scrappy contened for the idle game throne, ironically due to how much it insentavises active play! Very, very, fun highly recommend for those looking to get into this niche genre, or long time fans looking for a shake up!

Gnorpin' good time
Gnorp is charming and highly polished but I still would not recommend it. The later half of the game takes a wild turn into "idler" territory where the player has little to do except accumulate points. The ending is almost offensive in how anti-climatic it is. You had me sit around, doing almost nothing for however long for this? I got my monies' worth out of Gnorp, but I wouldn't have bought it in the first place knowing what I know now.

Unique take on idle games. Perhaps a bit too punishing as it can be difficult to tell damage apart. But really good nonetheless.
Hit Rock, collect chunk. Do that a lot.
Find synergies to get crazy high DPS numbers like it's Diablo or something, but streamlined down into an active 'idle' game. In other words, crack cocaine. Make sure you didn't have anything you needed to do this weekend.

The thing I liked about the Gnorp Apologue is just all the gnorping that goes on.
Little Gnorps gnorp left and right, they gnorp all over the place. Just when you think you've seen all the gnorping possible, you a get new upgrade and new ways to gnorp open up.
It's a gnorping great incremental game and some what tricky to work out. Avoiding guides takes a lot of will power. Like all great incremenetal games, a lot of the gnorping options seem so terrible, until you unlock more progress.
Even though it doesn't support controller, it maps super easy to a game controller through something like GameNative/GameHub Lite. Which is how I'm playing it. Though it starts requiring decent AFK, so eventually you'll want to move to a PC to leave it running when you hit a wall you just have to grind through, to reach the next perk unlock.
All in all, this is a gnorping good time. I give it 5 Gnorps out of 5.

Short game relatively speaking. ~12 hours but it's cute and entertaining.
This game is really fun. Great time kill. A lot of incremental games like this are designed to have you always chasing power creep. So while I appreciate seeing an incremental game that has a definitive "I beat the game" point, I do wish there was more content. Not because the content in the game is lacking or bad, but because it's so good I wish there was more.

I got this in the bundle with Tower Wizard.
Are they the same devs? Says they're not, but I swear, the art style and even the building animations are so similar.
A fun one also regardless. Interesting concept but the gameplay loop is quite a bit different. Upgrades were something you had to read to make sure it was actually benefiting you. Some of them are just flat out bad or niche; which might come as a shock if you're going into these games and thinking you can blindly click a upgrade and get away with 100% completion eventually.
This game has limited resources (the special upgrade currency) and it has flat walls for DPS checks. Well, more like resource accumulation checks, but still. And you need to minmax the hell out of it.
I left running overnight to meet one final prestige requirement then it was mostly smooth sailing to 100%.
I personally liked the Wizard game more but still nice gameplay and graphics.
Normally I wouldn't pay for an idle game, but this one in particular is excellent. I love watching all my Gnorps run around and get me shards.

I was quite entertained at first, there is a lot more going on visually than in other idle/clicker games. The first Prestige option showed up surprisingly quickly. However, after doing Prestige twice, progression has become extremely slow. Prestige also only has a handful of interesting options, the others seem quite pointless, giving me pretty much no motivation to even just have the game running. What a shame.
