Jueguito cortito pero esta guay, la verdad que me lo he pasado bien, probablemente me haga otra Run en un futuro, he completado el juego en 7 Horas, me quedan cositas pero en fin, que retomen la Serie pls, no mueras The Expanse!

Respecto al juego.. poco que añadir, Toma de decisiones, "exploracion" y mucha narrativa, no hay mucho mas. si te gusto la Serie yo creo que el juego te entretendra durante el tiempo que dura, que como he dicho antes.. es bastante cortito

PLAY ONLY IF YOU WATCHED THE SERIES! Seriously, this game is for the fans only. I love The Expanse series and Drummer was one of my favorite characters, so I was super happy to return to this universe. The game is short but fun, I especially loved episodes 4 and 5. However, in episodes 1 and 2, I was surprised to experience SEVERE motion sickness during the zero-G scenes. That has never happened to me in games before! It feels like there’s a major issue with the camera. I also noticed that the camera spins a lot in zero G when playing with a mouse and keyboard. I had to plug in a controller to make it more manageable.

Overall really nice game, highly recommend to all Expanse fans. Camina Drummer, my beloved ❤️

Toll erzählte, bewegende und hervorragend mit dem Kontext des Expanse -Kosmos verwobene Geschichten.
Auch der DLC ist sehr empfehlenswert, auch wenn ich hier die fehlende Möglichkeit zur manuellen Speicherung bei ungünstig gesetzten Speicherpunkten und fehlender Abbruchmöglichkeit für Gespräche und Zwischensequenzen als etwas störend empfunden habe.
Insgesamt ein tolles Spiel in einem tollen Universum...gerne mehr davon!

Pretty solid Telltale/Deck Nine game. In my opinion it's one of their best works.

Good: Story, characters, atmosphere are all top notch. Game serves as prequel to The Expanse series and it does pretty good job in pulling you in that world. DLC is awesome, it's done very, very well.

Meh: While great, story have some predictable elements, but overall it's pretty good.

Bad: Game is too short. And that's only, but pretty serious flaw.

System and optimization: Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5 6000MT/s, RX 9070 XT, 1440p resolution, Ultra settings, AFMF2 on, game capped to 120FPS (240 with AFMF) to match display refresh rate and limit power draw. Game worked at 240 (with AFMF) frames while drawing around 100W of power and having GPU usage around 80-85% depends on the scene. There are slight stutters when you change the area, but they are very brief.

Score: 8/10, if you like Telltale/Life is Strange type games this is must play. If you also love Sci-Fi, this is must play. If you love good story, this is must play. Shame the game is very short, i was just getting pulled in the world, bam, game ends...

Easily the worst game in the entire telltale franchise. There is not many options to choose from. Only thing that you can get in result is some saved crew members. Unfortunately, the writing is poor, the choreography is bad, the faces are atrociously big and the bodies are too small. The motives are not understandable, the characters do not relate. I thought I was gonna hate this game because of all the negative reviews I had seen, but I actually really liked it. It is just a shame that it is so short.

I never heard of The Expanse before playing this game, but I really liked this story and the game is absolutely beautiful. That said, this isn’t much like any of the other Telltale games. There are only maybe 4 real choices throughout the entire game, where the rest is just unimportant dialogue choices with no unqiue outcomes. So this game does feel more like a walking sim, rather than a choice driven story game. And about the story being good, that might not even be to the developers credit as much as to the original author’s credit. So I can understand why some people who love this universe hate the story in this game, because it might very well not be as good as the original, I just don’t know that because I never watched the show or read the novel.

I recommend this game on sale and definitely not at its full price. I completed the entire game in a little under 4 hours, just doing the main objectives, and while I like the game, no 4 hour game is worth 25 euro, which is what they ask in my region. I bought it for a few bucks half a year ago though, so I know it gets cheap on sale and that is why I leave this review positive.

- Voice acting is subpar, in a game that's so heavily focused on the characters having such mixed voice acting is a problem.
- Controls clunky, they're ok, but not great.
- Why is the vault considered lost when you simply moved it out of the way? It can't have that much force to jet off somewhere it can't be collected. All you did was move it but now you lose the resources. So far the options feel flat, especially the vault- "do good and have any reward gone for little reason, or do bad but get rewarded"
- Fairly solid graphics, best part of the game.

If it were $6-$10 It'd be serviceable, but it's put on steam for 32.50 CAD.

中文测评还是太少了，我必须来为这个游戏发声。先说总体，因为有着deck9和telltale的名头，作为一个奇异人生1&2/风暴前夕/行尸走肉/与狼同行/蝙蝠侠/无主之地/权力的游戏都玩过的玩家而言，这次的合作就算双厨狂喜。一来t社可以跳脱出平面的美漫画风，二来deck9也可以好好学习一下t社的故事功底。不过缺点也是显而易见的，继承了deck9的政治正确&LGBTQ以及t社的非黑即白。
从背景来说，不论你看过苍穹浩瀚与否，玩懂游戏是不难的。不过游戏没中文，英文确实有点晦涩难懂，特别是很多需要收集的物品上包含大量信息，看不懂的话影响很大，这游戏估计压根没考虑过中文玩家。
从叙事来看，节奏依然是问题，前期拖沓，前几章铺陈叙事太长，第四章信息量又太小显得枯燥乏味，精彩全在第五章，让人吃不消，又有点过犹不及的感觉。
从剧情来说，硬伤挺多的，Khan受了同样的伤，医生不来就秒死，医生来了又秒活，这个就是祖传t社问题，被诟病不是一时半会了，并且一开始海盗那么不讲道理那么牛逼，到了第五章就成了和蔼可亲的立场反派了，甚至最后有点洗白嫌疑，落差太大，反派死于话多。
从操作来讲，能飞起来模拟失重，能换平面行动，用手柄玩手感无敌。除了有时候收集东西角度比较奇怪，其他还好。
总而言之，无功无过，如果你也像我一样玩过他们的其他作品，那么值得一试，否则请慎重。

For fans, this is an interesting little side venture into the Belt- but not much more. My recommendation is conditional; you have to really love the series, and you also have to be willing to forgive some pretty awful writing gaffes.

PROS: A fun trip through the belt, plenty of tension, and a good exploration of Drummer's past. Interesting side lore and a peek at some points of the story that ended up omitted.

CONS: Sluggish pacing at times, soundtrack of hot garbage, ending is sub-par when there was a very easy tie-in with the main series. Main villain's motivations are all over the place.

SPOILER WARNING:

[spoiler] While I really enjoyed visiting the failed colony, and seeing the wrecks of skirmishes between the MCRN and UNN, the writing has a bunch of really obvious gaps with really, really easy fixes.

1. Have Julie end up with the proto-molecule but split off from the main group.
2. She's not a super-commando, rephrase 'I killed them all' to something like 'I depressurized the ship'.
3. Make the stakes real, and show some Anubis-class vessels in the distance.
4. Make Toussaint forgive Drummer because it makes more sense for her to try to use Drummer's OPA reputation to give her political capital and validation.

i feel bad about this because im a fan of telltale but this game isnt worth your money, not even on sale. its a cool idea and it seems like some people really like this but it just doesnt feel like a telltale game. but my 1 problem with the game is visuals. its the same soul-less high fedility. the only game like this i like is Detroit become human. This would be 10x better if it was the old stylized look as the last game. If this looked like twd i would buy this but its just not worth my money ngl. i only played the first episode then returned it. it might be your thing and im happy you could enjoy something i couldnt!

"It was amazing." - 5 out of 5 star rating.

This was such an incredible experience, that really got me emotional for some scenes. I've never played a Telltale game before, but after this one would absolutely be interested in what else they have to offer.

The only other similar experience I've had was Detroit: Become Human that compares to this. Detroit was a much better game overall in volume, story, and choices - but as a huge Expanse fan, despite this being rather short, I still absolutely loved it.

I am not the biggest fan of The Expanse. It took me several tries to finish all seasons and I ultimately ended up liking season one, loving season two and three and having mixed feelings about the rest of the show. I never read any of the books. I was still excited to try out the Telltale game for two reasons. First, I like most telltale games - they are chill to play and usually offer good writing, characters and stories. Second, it puts one of the best characters of the show in the lead role: Boss ♥♥♥♥♥ Camina Drummer.

Unfortunately, The Expanse: A Telltale Series ended up being one of the worst Telltales games for me. The biggest issue is how wasted the setting feels. Instead of doing some space faring, planet hopping, exciting adventure the game takes place almost exclusively on one ship and a desolated space station in an asteroid/space scrap field. Like most Telltale games there isn’t much gameplay to speak of. You navigate your digital alter ego through linear areas and make decisions throughout the five episodes of the game that alter the story in various ways. This time Telltale tried to add some spice with zero-g segments and dodging enemy drones. With poor results, because these segments don’t make traversing the boring environments any more interesting.

I was also baffled by how stiff and unexciting most of the action-sequences, played out in typical quicktime events, felt. A huge step back from older Telltale games that offered way better choreographed action. The story and characters featured in the game are also quite forgettable.

So, is there any saving grace left for this? Well, the graphics are quite nice and the chill Telltale gameplay is intact. If you like making decisions and having a more passive gaming experience, it still delivers on that front. And Camina is voiced by the original actress Cara Gee including her unmistakable accent. So, if you really, really like that particular character or The Expanse universe, you can get some fun out of this. But overall it’s just a big missed opportunity.

As a fan of both the books and the series, I'll be honest — when the Telltale logo dropped alongside The Expanse title during the reveal, I may have lost my composure entirely. Camina Drummer doesn't get nearly enough page time in the books, so getting a full story dedicated to her arc felt like a gift. And Cara Gee? Exceptional, as always — no notes.

Deck Nine and Telltale clearly did their homework. Every subtle detail makes you feel like you've stepped back into the show rather than booted up a game, and that kind of care doesn't happen by accident. You can feel the love for the source material in every frame.

Was I surprised it flew under most people's radar? Not even a little. Just like the books and the series, we're a rare breed — a niche fandom in a galaxy dominated by Star Wars and Star Trek, and honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way. Proud Beratna here.

If you're thinking about playing this — watch the show first. Yes, I know it's technically not required. Do it anyway. It makes the whole experience hit completely differently.

Jako fan cyklu The Expanse (książek oczywiście) polecam. Obecnie czytam drugą połowę 6-tego tomu i historia w "The Expanse : A Telltale Series" ciekawie uzupełnia historię jednej z bohaterek tego uniwersum. Podkreślam że polecam jako fan serii. Gdyby popatrzeć od strony fana gier to już tak średnio. Gra nie ma zbyt wiele do zaoferowania. Najmocniejszymi stronami są zdecydowanie fabuła (choć bardzo krótka, podzielona na odcinki) i oprawa wizualna, która prezentuje się ładnie. Sam gameplay to nic innego jak chodzenie i latanie w poszukiwaniu przydatnych złomów i przedmiotów fabularnych, sporadyczne unikanie dronów i fragmentaryczna walka oparta na QTE. Wyborów wpływających na fabułę jest niewiele a dostępne zagadki są banalnie proste. Dodatek "Archangel" (za który zapłaciłem więcej niż za podstawkę) to też takie trochę rozczarowanie. Fabularnie owszem wnosi parę informacji do znanego mi uniwersum ale sam gameplay to w skrócie : dwa pomieszczenia do poruszania się, parę interaktywnych przedmiotów, dron, komputer i kilka decyzji do podjęcia. Max godzinka grania więc troszkę słabo :(. Fankom i fanom uniwersum Jamesa S.A. Coreya polecam. Ogólnie też ale na zachwyt raczej bym nie liczył :).

Personally i played this with keyboard and mouse with zero issues

graphics played on max but something was missing the game try's to pull you in but fails on the final step into the great unknown

Massive potential and i feel telltale could expand and go deeper and darker with this if the roll a part two, as there's something out there guessing but ends on a massive oh well same old thing, so very anti climatic.
I wish they pushed this into horror or more like the movie interstellar, the had all the set up for this and never delivered

I have to say this is not the best Telltale game I’ve played, and I also hadn’t watched the series/books it is based on before playing it so i might have miss some of the big picture.
Still, I enjoyed the experience overall. The writing, while uneven at times, remains one of the game’s strongest points, along with the atmosphere and the story, which improves from episode to episode.

The gameplay feels very traditional and somewhat outdated, as is often the case with their games, especially due to the rather clunky and uninteresting QTEs and the so-called “puzzles” that barely qualify as such. I did enjoy the zero-gravity exploration sections and the ability to switch to this mode on the fly most of the time.

Visually, the game doesn’t do anything remarkable, but it manages to stand out thanks to its atmosphere. The soundtrack is quite discreet: it’s not very memorable, but it still fits the adventure well.
In the end, I had a pleasant time with it, but it was far from memorable and clearly not the best entry in Telltale’s catalog.

To review this game properly, we have to divide humanity into two factions: people who already know [i]The Expanse[/i] universe, and the lucky souls who haven't had their hearts broken by sci-fi TV cancellations yet.
I myself watched the show, so that's where I'm coming from.

[b]For the Newcomers:[/b]
If you haven't watched the series or read the books, congratulations: you are walking into a dense political space opera with a plethora of character and a backstory.
You will probably struggle to understand who hates who, the underlying politics, and why everyone is so incredibly stressed out all the time.
[b]But seriously, you should still give it a go.[/b]
Getting thrown into the deep end of a rich sci-fi universe is half the fun, and the narrative holds up well enough that you can still enjoy the ride while you desperately try to catch up on the lore.

[b]For the Fans:[/b]
If you loved the show, this game is an absolute gem. The developers actually shelled out the budget to get the original actors from the TV series to voice their characters, which is a rare and beautiful treat in licensed games.
Speaking of the show, I need to confess my darkest, most unpopular secret: I actually LOVED the first season the most.
I know, I know, the internet has collectively decided that Season 1 is the awkward introductory phase and the later seasons are the true masterpieces.
I liked the rest of the show well enough to finish it, but I am fiercely loyal to the early stuff.
Surprisingly, even with my peculiar (and apparently wrong) taste, playing this game gave me a wonderful feeling of nostalgia.

I do agree with the gripe I've seen mentioned in other reviews: There's no room for checkpoint-instead-of-savegame games in 2026.
This is not PS2, we have hard drives now. We can spare some free space for a save game file.

Look, I don't want to sound crass, but I have to point out the elephant in the room.
Spending hours walking around as Camina Drummer with a tight, third-person, over-the-shoulder camera makes me feel like I'm playing a space version of [i]Tomb Raider[/i].
Make of that what you will. Lara Croft wishes she had this much eyeliner and emotional baggage.

[b]Verdict:[/b] Highly recommended. Come for the rich sci-fi storytelling, stay for the over-the-shoulder camera angles.

This was a nice surprise. I hadn't heard of it when it released but saw it on sale and thought I'd give it a try since I love The Expanse TV show. I'm glad I did. It was really well written with a great balance between action and decision making.

One note: There is no direct shooting of your weapon so if you're not a fan of fps don't worry. This isn't an fps. When shooting sequences come up, the result is determined by hitting the appropriate key shown on the screen. It works quite well but I just wanted to point that out in case someone thought it might be a run and gun game.

Première expérience avec un jeu à la Telltale. Pas décu. Mais pas emballé non plus.
Disons, que si la licence The Expanse ne m’avait pas servi de prétexte, je ne serais probablement pas monté à bord.
Les bastons, entre personnages et entre vaisseaux se résument à des QTE un peu mous, mais néanmoins létaux si on se trompe.

J'ai bien aimé les séquences en zéro G mème si l'on comprend vite qu'on est dans un couloir et qu'on est prié d'explorer ce qui est prévu. Et les séquences d’enquête ou l'on parle aux pnj sont très bien, grâce au doublage des comédiens de la série, on s’y croirait.

Je ne suis pas mécontent de l’expérience, mais pas suffisamment emballé pour revenir sur le sujet afin d’avoir toutes les versions de l’histoire. J’ai amené Bosmang Drummer au bout de son histoire et c’était sympa.

Rompiche. C'est mauvais. Très lent, aucun rythme. Mal écris. Les personnages ne sont pas attachants ni intéressants, voir même agaçants. C'est mal joué la plupart du temps et forcé. Wirklich echt schön gemachtes Game mit packender Handlung. Leider etwas kurz, habe das Teil am Weekend fast am Stück durchgezockt. Mache nochmals einen Durchgang mit anderen (besseren?) Entscheidungen. Grossartig inszeniert, einfach zu spielen, aber mit Gefühl und Emotionen wie ich sie das letzte mal bei Mass Effect erlebt habe. Für alle SiFi Fans ein Muss! Joguei o primeiro episódio e gostei bastante. A narrativa é o ponto forte: diálogos bem escritos, clima tenso e aquela estrutura clássica da Telltale focada em escolhas e personagens.

Não reinventa nada — é fórmula conhecida — mas executa bem. Se você curte jogo mais cinematográfico e focado em história, funciona.

Depois de terminar todos os episódios, incluindo a DLC, mantenho minha opinião: o jogo é bom — e a narrativa continua sendo o ponto forte.

Os diálogos seguem bem escritos, o clima político e tenso funciona, e a construção da Drummer sustenta a experiência do começo ao fim. A estrutura clássica da Telltale permanece: foco em escolhas, relações e momentos dramáticos acima da ação. Não reinventa o gênero, mas sabe trabalhar bem dentro da própria fórmula.

Agora, sendo direto: faltou ambição.

Deveria ter pelo menos mais uma opção de romance relevante. Em um jogo tão centrado em personagens e decisões, limitar isso reduz o impacto emocional e a sensação de agência. Além disso, alguns episódios claramente poderiam durar mais. Há momentos que começam a ganhar peso e simplesmente acabam rápido demais — dá a sensação de conteúdo contido.

Fora isso, é uma experiência sólida. Boa escrita, boa ambientação, boa adaptação do universo. Não é revolucionário, mas entrega exatamente o que promete — e entrega bem.

No Steam Deck, rodou liso, sem travamentos e com desempenho estável, o que é ótimo pra um jogo desse estilo.

Wer die Serie liebt wird auch das Spiel lieben. Ja, das Vergnügen ist eher kurz und sicherlich nicht gänzlich ausgereift. Ich war trotzdem völlig gepackt von der Story und musste auch hier und da ein Tränchen fallen lassen.
Ich hab noch nicht viel von Telltale gespielt und es stimmt wohl, das man hier eher das Gefühl hat man könne nichts falsch machen, wobei es mich persönlich nicht gestört hat.
Atmospähre ist trotzdem Hammer. Im Rabatt auf jeden Fall Kaufempfehlung!

Almost impossible to play with mouse and keyboard, which is weird considering that the other Telltale games did not have issues. Permanent *negative* mouse acceleration makes the camera almost impossible to get used to, as it slows down the faster you move your mouse. You can no longer click on dialogue options; you must select them using the scroll wheel. You also can't skip any dialogue and there are no manual save points, so if you have to reload a save for technical reasons, you must sit through every conversation in full.

Extremely disappointing given Telltale's track record.

Sadly, not one of Telltale's finest games. So much potential wasted.

The first few episodes feel like a grind at times with a few decent parts sprinkled through, although the story does improve it however isnt as good as it should've been. Choices don't really matter much, compared to the likes of The Walking Dead (where choices had some effect but not massively). This also made me not care or really want to replay.

Voice acting, especially in the first episode, is horrible. The Pilot was one of the worst I've heard in a professional game, a complete miscast. The main character sounded as if she were tired and slightly constipated.

Overall, I found the story and the ship to be boring. The worst thing is that it shouldn't have been. You have a crew which you hardly interact with; they could've done so much with this. Also, the ship just felt static, again much more could have been done. A few nuggets here and there would've done a lot of good.

Although I had no technical problems, the game overla seemed to feel rushed. As if it lacked much of the polish that previous entries had.

This was also very short. I had a lot of hours due to me falling asleep and forgetting I left the game on. Maybe 4-6 hours of gameplay, which includes unskippable dialogue and scenes.

Not the worst game I've ever played. If you're a fan of The Expanse, then give it a shot, otherwise it's best avoided.

The game looks quite good, and the story is nicely told. It's definitely worth playing for someone who likes the TV show. The gameplay, though, is quite limited and not challenging at all. There are some choices to make, but it doesn't feel like they influence the story all that much. I liked the timed reaction sequences, mostly because they look cinematic, not because they were actually hard. The exploration can be interesting, but there are very few things to discover. Yet, to collect everything, you have to be very thorough. The worst part is probably that the game is rather short and the story stops when the most interesting part is about to start. It feels a bit like a teaser before the main story begins. But it's still worth playing.

This was the weakest Telltale game I've played, and I've played many. For a choice and consequence game your choices don't have much consequence, and there are already very few significant choices.
Episode 4's attempt at a trippy vision quest felt like the slowest and dullest way to provide literal and metaphorical narrative pipe that had little bearing on the immediate story. The QTEs are slow, repetitive and many are literally unfailable and have no change in the outcome of the story. Also the option to say nothing has been removed, which is especially irritating as there were many dialogue "choices" that were just two ways of saying the exact same thing.
Even if you are a fan of Telltale or The Expanse, I suspect you won't have a great time with this.

A story about salvage, safety, and supporting one another that functions well as a prequel to the Expanse TV show. While the gameplay is somewhat limited by its cinematic focus, linear and episodic storyline, and quick-react button-mash simple style of combat, the detailed animation and exceptional environment design make it worth your time to explore more of what this world has to find, especially if you're a fan of the show since there's significant overlap with both visual and audio design elements.

The gameplay is not difficult and is approachable for even casual players. However, the unskippable cutscenes make replays difficult to sit through, and there is a fair amount of content that not everyone may tolerate--plenty of gore, heavy swearing, forced lesbian romance for the player character with optional implied sex scene, multiple counts of asphyxiation (as seems to happen in space settings), and creaking leather sounds every few seconds per cutscene.

Like other Telltale games, the decision-making at times can seem like a slightly more complicated survey of human behavior. But the choices do affect the outcomes for the characters, and decisions made early on have consequences in the end.

Overall, the game is worth it just to get the chance to search through the different ships and stations, navigate 3D space environments, and learn more about the events leading up to the show (especially if you're a fan of Camina Drummer).

Note: The Archangel DLC is from the perspective of Chrisjen Avasarala. Here, the gameplay is less about exploration and more about sifting through intelligence and communication reports to navigate political intrigue, but there is unavoidable alcohol consumption as a means to transition between sections of the story. However, it provides some interesting insights into the geopolitical landscape of the solar system and the events leading up to the show.

Play if you're a fan of The Expanse. Don't if you're not.
Prequel story for Drummer is interesting if you're a fan of the series and the show actor Cara Gee. There are a few neat minor things with finding salvage. Otherwise the story is mid and some twists and reveals are great for fans and mean nothing for non-fans. Gameplay is basic and decisions don't feel terribly important for the most part.
DLC episiode feels noticeably lower budget and less interesting.

I understand why this game has so many bad reviews. It's all true, the characters, the narrative and many other things are not at the same level of the other products of Telltale.
Still, there are few positive things. The graphic and the gravity are very well made but specially, the episode 3 it's a little gem that made me want return to the Sci-fi books and products. In that episode we can see all the potentiality wasted. Pity.

Nauseating. Boring. Those are the two words that come to mind playing this game. The characters are dull, uninteresting, poorly voiced (with the exception of Cara Gee who plays Drummer). I have no vested interest in knowing them, or getting them to like Drummer. The story isn't very interesting either. I'm currently only in episode 2, but there is no hook or intrigue that makes me want to continue playing to find out any particular mystery. The exploration could have been fun, but personally the darkness combined with zero g and the camera that spins and pans in all manners of direction gave me a headache. At first the concept sounded intriguing, walking on walls and ceilings with magboots and using thrusters to zip around in space. But it got to be a very disorienting experience. It's hard to control at times, hard to navigate and most of what you find is completely useless and uninteresting with the only option to "look" and get some internal monologuing from Drummer.
Maybe it gets more interesting. Perhaps playing this should be in smaller bursts to avoid the absolute nausea you get from zero g exploration in darkness, but I cannot recommend this game to anyone at this time. Maybe it's because I get motion sickness IRL that it affects me this way, but it is certainly not a pleasant experience either way.

I always enjoyed Telltale games especially Batman and Walking Dead series, but also played through Borderlands, Game of Thrones, and Wolf Among Us. So I was really excited when Expanse series came out and I have to say the game was quite good. I really enjoyed characters in this game and writing was well done. Graphics were slightly better than previous games and game had decent replayability. It was a short game that took me around 7 hours to complete but experience was extremely fulfilling. The story takes place before the series as you meet few characters of the show that later passed away during the show. Voice acting was absolutely great and along the way you may lose few characters you grew fond of.

This game is fairly decent. The story is all right (nothing insane to write home about), but the universe (for those of you who like The Expanse) is very well represented and definitely worth a quick play. Decisions matter (Telltale game being what it is), and some of those matter in ways you wouldn't have guessed originally, which is always nice. DLC is a little more boring—despite that actually being the story I was more interested in at first—but overall I'd say it's pretty decent.

Wouldn't pay full price for it, mind you. Either get it here when it's on sale, or find it on sale elsewhere and get it for cheaper. I paid about €10 and that's more or less what I would say this game is worth, all in all.

This is really bad!
I loved the Expanse. books and show. Really enjoyed several TellTale games before too. But this does everything wrong.
Story just isn't engaging, voice acting is generally poor and the art style is appalling.
Seems like its either been rushed out or made by people who don't care about either franchise.

Honestly the first 10 minutes had be squirming with second hand embarrassment and cringe. It was like a 14 year old watched the TV series and decided to adda chapter as a homework assignment.

Choices are extremely limited and rarely matter, cliche characters and cheesy AF relationship building "ooh lets wrestle" type stuff :S

Bought this some time ago and was looking forward to playing in some down time and what a disappointment. Way too late to refund now.

If you are a tell tale or expanse fan simply AVOID this awful creation.

Se nota un salto gráfico importante.

Una experiencia narrativa pura. Es fácil simpatizar con la pareja protagonista, lo cual es vital para que las decisiones futuras realmente duelan o importen.

Mecánicamente no innova. Sin embargo, no decepciona en absoluto si sabes a lo que vienes. Cumple con creces su promesa de ser un juego cinematográfico.

If you like telltale games, and are a fan of the expanse series you'll generally like this game. The voice acting is great. My biggest issue with the game is that the mechanics of moving around in space feel limited/clunky. A good portion of the game is slowly floating through space, as you try to find secrets, and hope to be near enough objects for the interact icon to show up. Since this is in space, you have to also manage which way you are looking, which can be a problem for people who suffer vertigo.

Plot wise they give you some interesting dilemmas, but I felt like no where near enough to sustain the entire playthrough. Overall, decent, but I don't feel like it goes into depth anymore than the TV series does about the universe, or the characters.

I've played mostly all of the TellTale games. This one after episode 3 went from 'not bad' to 'please be over'.
I never saw Drummer in the show but this voice actress has a very dry flat delivery, a very strange accent that I can't place and zero emotional range.

There is only one romance option in the game, of course it's a gay option, and of course they tie achievements to only accepting the gay romance so if you reject it you get nothing. This wouldn't be a big deal if there was a hetero option but NOPE just lesbians. Of course.

All the women are honorable, noble, powerful leaders, loyal, who rule the galaxy, all the men are either weak, cowards, or scum-bags that will stab you in the back.

This is a no for me!
I would recommend episode 1, that was actually really good, but it goes downhill sharpy after that and I'm glad its over, I have no interest in 100%-ing this one.
