Увидел набор всех Flash-игр по синему слону по скидке и сразу захотелось все пройти и посмотреть как всё сохранилось. Увы, но большая часть игр - так себе. Плюс-минус понравились мини-игры "LOOT" и "Unlocked Achievement 3", но все остальное - унылое и однообразное говно. Возможно это связано с плохой совместимостью с Win11, но все мини-игры невероятно сильно лагают. Покупать за полную цену вообще не рекомендую, да и в целом покупать набор весьма сомнительное мероприятие - кошелек будет целее и иногда пыль ностальгии лучше не сдувать. Я могу порекомендовать только в том случае, если вам невероятно ценна эпоха Flash-игр и вы просто хотите увековечить память о ней хотя бы в своей библиотеке игр.
on top of a nice collection of fun, bite-sized games, the elephant collection is a perfect remnant of the ethos of flash games and completely worth experiencing in its totality as an homage to web browser indie game creation during the late 2000s and early 2010s
i will say, the only game i really played in my youth was elephant quest, and maybe the first achievement unlocked, but if you've played *any* flash game from this era, then you *will* feel the nostalgia almost immediately. its beauty

if you played Achievement Unlocked and/or This is the Only Level as a kid and just wanna go back and play em again, this is a good way to do so while also supporting the guy who made those games semi-directly. it also comes with other games from the flash player era i've never even known about until recently. all in all, while it is MOSTLY a glorified emulator, it does it in just the right way that the nostalgia factor plus the extra content AND all these little flash games in one place make it, in my birdbrain opinion, worth the $15, especially when you remember these were all made by one guy.

AWESOME sauce
For a lot of people who grew up in the 2000's with internet access, Flash games were an endless source of entertainment of varying quality. Endless free interactive content? What kind of kid or teenager would pass that up? I imagine even adults would have fun with several of these games in their free time.
While Flash is discontinued, and the era of interactive web games seems to be winding down (though I doubt the medium will ever completely disappear), the impact these games had on people cannot be understated, and it makes these collections all the more important. And while the price out of sale is perhaps a little steep, I'd say it's worth every penny for how much passion John and his collaborators poured into every single game, and the further work done to polish up the collection while preserving as much of the originals as feasible.
A lot of people have video games that define their formative years. While the Blue Elephant games were far from the only ones, they are perhaps some of the most nostalgic titles I had from this period, maybe second only to the Bloons series. This little blue, wonderful elephant will forever live in the hearts of many, including my own.
John Cooney and everyone else who worked on these titles over the years, whether you contributed to their development or simply testing, thank you. I wish all of you well in your future endeavors, and I hope Good Things Vol. 1 proves as much of a success as The Elephant Collection.
Those games from the famous jmtb02 were very appreciated during the Flash era. And thanks to this legacy collection, fun is back again! Woohoo.

Если про первое у меня остались приятные воспоминания, то второе - унылое говно. А суть в том, что все остальные флэшки из коллекции - именно такие. Либо духота, либо дрочня - но уж точно не что-то весёлое.

I played most of these games as a kid, and it's a joy to revisit them (even if there are some bugs I don't recall from the originals). This elephant is very cute.
The highlight of the game is Achievement Unlocked 2, which I would recommend to just about anyone. I was also pleasantly surprised with Elephant Quest, which I hadn't played before now.
