Тут цікавий, вертикально-орієнтований дизайн рівнів.
Серед прикольних фішок, я б назвав вільне падіння, що дає змогу зістрибнути з актуального рівня та потрапити на минулі. Також тут є телепорт, що працює не тільки як фаст тревел між дослідженими рівнями, але і як швидке повернення на місце, з якого оступився.
Є тут і більш звичні речі типу зміни персонажів під час гри, кожен з яких має якусь родзинку.

Геймплей по суті зводиться до грінду та платформінгу, але набриднути не встигає, бо гра проходиться за відносно короткий проміжок часу.

TDTOM люблячи висміює крінжові низькобюджетні сай-фай фільми 70х років.
Хоч гра і вийшла у 2016, її пост-іронічний гумор досі здатен потішити слухача.

Шкода, що я не знав про її існування 10 років тому. Вона б сподобалася мені значно більше, ніж зараз.

Bought it on sale, it's pretty good.

The humor is top notch, although on the last quarter of the game it falls a bit on consistency. Also didn't like the lack of lines when you are trying to 100% it.

Gameplay-wise, not the best. Felt that the weapons had some clear superior choices.
Played on mouse+keyboard, controlled fine, albeit a bit floaty.

Only had a crash on Survival mode (wave 13, I think), in 2 out of 4 times I reached it. I turned down all effects and it didn't happen again.

7.5/10 (for reference, 5 is a passable but completely unremarkable game for me)

The visual presentation, the setting, and the humorous writing really make the game, elevating a somewhat repetitive beat-’em-up into a much more enjoyable experience. It kept my interest until the very end.

It's a pretty good game, and a cool take on a 3rd person platformer. Fun with 2 players of any age. Too bad both players have to be the same character all the time... This is a game that doesn't take itself seriously for a second, and neither should you. Seriously. Don't take yourself seriously. Not even for a second. Don't. Seriously. Just... Don't. TBH, I bought it on sale back in 2017 for the Scarlet Nova Desktop Calendar (because hot cosplay chick calendar, amirite?), but was pleasantly surprised to get a decent game along with it. Get it if you like platformers, get it if you like quattro fromaggio cheesyness, get it if you're looking for something different.

There isnt much negative I can say about this game. Its not that challenging, plays well, and has a great humour to it. One of the best that ACE has put out. It even has coop. idk why there isnt much to coop with this game, but this allows for a family event. parents can play with children easily. There is some PG13 language in a conversation about Richard missile and exploring Uranus and black holes, its rather tame but lewd; there are far worse out there claiming to be less. Dont let this shy you away from this. It is worth every penny.

From what I know, few people have tried to incorporate third-party narration as an integral part of their game. What I mean is, a third-party entity in the game looking over your progression and providing commentary based on what you do. A whole lot of these games are either visual novels or walking simulators, like The Stanley Parable or Slay the Princess. But we do also have some games that incorporate this idea with an action gameplay, like ICEY or Bastion.
The Deadly Tower of Monsters belongs to the second group. It makes use of narrators that provide commentary from the very beginning of the game to the very end of it, and uses a brilliant reasoning for its inclusion. But the quality of the overall package is not satisfactory.

[h2]Do people even know what a DVD menu is nowadays?[/h2]
Admittedly, The Deadly Tower of Monsters has a very interesting, and dare I say unique, story premise. It presents the experience as the live watching of a B-Movie from the 50s that is going to be getting the VHS to DVD treatment, and an audio engineer has been assigned to record the director's comments on the movie to be included on the disc as special content. Therefore, nearly everything you do in the game is accompanied/narrated by the director and the sound engineer partaking in discussions.
I have to say, the game starts extremely well in this regard and fully leans into the B-Movie looks and feels. It perfectly showcases the techniques and effects used in the B-Movies of that era through its audio and visuals (such as corny dialogues, usage of stop motion animation and puppets, usage of home appliances as gadgets for futuristic movies, off-screen errors being mistakenly visible in the final product, etc.) accompanied by the director talking about them, ranting about the current movie industry and mentioning how the process of shooting his movie went on.
I also really appreciate the addition of extra lines of dialogue to take nearly every situation into account. Simply waiting in one place for prolonged periods of time, dying to an enemy or doing something wrong can result in different reactions from the director. For example, you will get different lines of dialogue if you either decide to land on a haystack in the beginning of the game or deliberately miss it. However, the narration does not stay charming throughout the whole game.
As you get closer to the end, the humor just wears off and the director starts to show that he is actually very abusive towards his crew instead of his initial clueless and/or dumb impressions. Not only that, he is absent from the final chapter of the game, leaving the audio engineer to state his thoughts on the movie and provide the humor which is frankly some of the worst in the game. All of this then culminates in a 4th wall breaking ending that made absolutely no sense to me and left me disappointed with how random it was. These story and narration issues have had catastrophic effects on the whole game, as The Deadly Tower of Monsters is a game that carries its gameplay through the narration, not the opposite or both in tandem.

[h2]I shouldn't get bored in a 4 hour game, yet here we are...[/h2]
Unfortunately, The Deadly Tower of Monsters does not have what it takes to keep the players interested for the whole experience when it comes to the gameplay. It stays like a regular top-down action platformer from the beginning to the end, with nothing getting introduced to break the stale flow of the game. Now this might seem like nonsense as the game can be beaten in about 4 hours but trust me, it gets boring very fast.
A part of this boredom comes from how the gameplay is designed. On one hand, we have platforming challenges that are really nothing special, whenever they are not infuriating (we'll get to this soon). On the other hand, combat is not satisfying either. You get all these weapons and defensive abilities, and see a variety of enemies, just to find out that most of them are useless and barely change the flow of combat. You collect plenty of gold from enemies and boxes, just to find out the gears are far more important, and the skill system is based on what achievements you have unlocked in a playthrough instead of other things, so most of what you have collected will be useless. You get all these interesting-looking bosses, but the fights against them are lackluster and not fun at all. And whatever else that the game offers is not enough to make you more invested in it.
The whole gameplay mechanic of shooting enemies that approach from below is interesting at first, yet gets overused later on and honestly adds nothing to the experience. Switching characters to get past various obstacles or having some enemies being resistant to certain weapon types is a good idea, yet the backtracking needed to change them is tedious in so many cases, as character/weapon changers are not always present next to a checkpoint. Locking collectables behind obstacles that require a later-acquired ability is a reoccurring thing in games, yet it's not really beneficial to do here (unless you are going for 100%) because of both the aforementioned backtracking and also the new weapons not always being better and worth the investment.

[h2]Can you just hold that straight?[/h2]
Then we have the issue of the camera system. Earlier in the game, the camera view seems to be fine and manageable; But as you progress further in the game, the camera angles will get worse. They constantly get placed in awkward angles, negatively impacting depth perception and making proper platforming a hell to go through, like the flying saucers before chapter 4. It can also move or zip around in a very fast and very uncomfortable manner (like the Emperor's Throne section where it just violently moves around, or if you try to jump off from the tower) if you dare go somewhere other than where the game expects you to.
And all of this is such a shame, as I really like the presentation here. When I revisited the game with more experience under my belt, I was shocked at how well the first hour of the game went on. I loved the audiovisual presentation and even laughed at some of the jokes as they hit too close to home for me. But the further I progressed, the less I was inclined to finish the game. If it wasn't for the fact that I was in the final parts of the penultimate chapter of the game, I would have never tried to bring myself to finish it.

Starts great with an interesting concept, but cannot keep the momentum going till the end as humor, combat and platforming get progressively more boring as the game goes on, despite the low playtime.

A good game. The design is very good and quite fun. It certainly achieves (to some extent) its objective of looking like a B-movie.

Naturally, it doesn't really look like one. There are some missed opportunities and some things that could have been better by being replaced with sillier things (like the lasers, replaced with some sort of low-budget effect?). The giant monsters don't look enough like puppets.

However, even with these small details, the game was entertaining and quite fun. I can recommend it to have a good time and spend some relaxing time.

Humoristic games, or rather, games that *try* to be funny often miss that the gameplay also needs to be fun. Therefore, I had some doubts before starting this game, but then I read that it was really short (howlongtobeat says 4-7 depending on how thorough you are) and so I thought that I might be able to complete it before I ran out of patience with its quirks/flaws. I was wrong, but at least I only wasted 3 hours on this game.

The Deadly Tower of Monsters has so many poor design decisions that ultimately overshadows all the good aspects, just like so many other "funny" games. The camera positions itself in an often unhelpful way and is often zoomed in too far, so that you can't get a good overview. Moving around feels awkward and slow, the platforming is dull and it's tedious to make sure that you don't fall off all the narrow stairways encircling the tower, because of how the controls work. You do have a jetpack to survive great drops, but its fuel and usefulness is quite limited. You can't go upwards with it and you can't jump worth a damn. Everything about the game makes you feel limited.

Each checkpoint also works as a teleportation beacon, so you can move between them. The main reason to go back to a previous area, I assume, is to get more of the collectible cogs that you can later use to buy upgrades for your weapons. You've got access to several different melee and ranged weapons, but can only carry two at a time of each sort and can only change your loadout at certain stations. If you go to a previously cleared area, you can sometimes see that the enemies have respawned and they weren't fun to fight the first time, so exploration can get tedious. You might also see that there is an area with locked teleportation beacons near an area you've been through, but the game isn't helpful at letting you navigate to it, because of how the camera and map works.

Ultimately, I thought I had endured this game enough when it locked me in a small area with a large vacuum cleaner-like enemy at the start of part 2 of the game (don't know how many parts the game has and don't care). It seemed impervious to my ranged and melee attacks and I couldn't be bothered to find out how to kill it.

I love the creativity of ACE team. This top down shooter, platformer is a perfect example of ACE teams oddness outside the very strange mainline series. 50s buck rodgers look and feel with a very meta plot with some fun dialogue and good mechanics along with some rough edges and some poorly explained mechanics. Fun creative game with lots fun ideas in a silly 50s sci-fi plot.

I first played it on PS+ years before. Now, older and more knowledgeable than then, the game is very funny and very well made and written to be like a 70's movie. Little "easter" eggs like fishing lines and dolls. On a discount is MUST! I even 100% it in 9 hours with help from videos you can find online. It's a secret gem which deserves more love ❤

C'est du type hack'n slash basique.

Beaucoup de blabla en VO, ce qui malheureusement ne permet pas toujours de lire les sous-titres dans ce jeu orienté action.
Une bonne maîtrise de l'anglais à l'oral est nécessaire pour ne pas se coller aux sous-titres mais le jeu déborde d'humour, jusqu'à l'animation des ennemis en mode carton pate.

C'est frais mais reste assez moyen dans l'ensemble niveau gameplay.
La coop est un plus, pour vivre l'aventure avec un copain et ne pas rire tout seul devant son écran :)

Es un juego divertido y con una metahistoria bastante buena. Estás jugando a una "peli de serie B" de los 80, comentada por el antiguo director (Un señor cutroso de holliwood con muchisima personalidad). Si habeis visto Barbarella o películas de ese estilo esto se siente como estar metido dentro de una de ellas.

La jugabilidad es bastante simplona, pero buena. Tiene un poco de metroidvania y otro poco de rpg, pero en su base es un juego puro y duro de acción. Lo mejor, con diferencia, es el humor de la historia y los guiños, pero conseguir coleccionables y recorrer la torre de arriba a abajo cuando te dan una nueva habilidad que abre caminos nuevos es muy divertido.

I really like this 1 played it back in PS3. The theme is cool, don't see it much in other games. But yeah don't remember the camera bothering me so much as it does now. It moves in a weird way. At least its kept at good visible angles. Another thing is I didn't know it had co-op. Since its not meant for it 2nd player can go off camera.

I really want to love this game. The art style, voice acting, meta commentary, general 50s/60s sci fi cheesiness is appealing and I like what the game is going for. HOWEVER, the fact that the camera has to reset every time your character stops moving gives me a headache. I don't know this is in the game. That is the deal breaker for me. Very good action-adventure game.

The general idea, the level design and the story are the highlights.
Writing is pretty good, occasional funny / non politically correct jokes.
Combat a bit janky, found a showstopper where a door wasn't opening and had to reload the checkpoint, not the end of the world anyway.

Overall, it's fun and definitely worth your time - it's about 4 hours long which is just about right to keep you entertained before it'd get repetitive.

I absolutely loved the humour and attention to detail in this game, which is why I'm very sad that I didn't end up enjoying it as a whole. Although this game does some things very well, there were just too many things that it doesn't.

As I mentioned, the story in this game is the highlight. This game sets itself up as a commentary track on an old, low budget movie, and it works surprisingly well. The narration is usually funny, and the various references and world/enemy design are really creative as well, with some enemies moving like they were filmed in stop motion, or flying enemies having obvious wires that are keeping them suspended. Unfortunately, it wasn't all good, as the fourth and final chapter of the game really missed the mark for me. The story suddenly changed and got really weird, and it lost a lot of the magic for me. That was really unfortunate, as I was loving it until that point, but it resulted in a fairly disappointing ending.

The gameplay is alright, although I didn't find it to be anything spectacular. The platforming is decent, but the combat leaves a lot to be desired, and usually boils down to spamming your favourite weapons until the enemy stops moving. Upgrades weren't very exciting either, as character upgrades were hard to get (as they're locked behind achievements) and weapon upgrades felt a bit pointless once you'd upgraded your favourite ones. There's three characters that you can play as, which have some different abilities (and are occasionally required to progress), but my friend and I played as Scarlet for most of the game, as she moves faster than the other two. This felt like a bit of an odd design decision, and made the game feel like a slog whenever it forced us to play as someone else (especially the robot, as it moves significantly slower).

All of this would probably have been forgivable if it weren't for the very poor implementation of local co-op. I understand that the game very clearly states that it wasn't designed for multiplayer when you start the game, but I wasn't expecting it to be barely playable, especially when it's advertised on the store page as co-op. I played through the entire game with a friend using Steam Play Together, and issues we encountered included:

[*] The camera only follows the first player, so the second player constantly got lost off screen.
[*] The second player gets the ability to teleport to the first player, but this sometimes wouldn't work or would happen unexpectedly.
[*] The second player can't pan the camera down, and it's extremely jarring for the second player when the first player does this unexpectedly.
[*] When aiming down, the second player doesn't get any reticle, making it almost impossible to aim.
[*] The second player can't interact with any of the terminals for upgrading or changing weapons or characters.
[*] Although money is shared between both players, the second player doesn't get any weapon upgrades the first player purchases and is stuck with the base version of all weapons.
[*] The health and ammo is shared between both players, so combat is often harder as a result.
[*] Many critical objects like elevators and lifts would behave bizarrely or wouldn't activate at all for the second player

These issues left us pretty frustrating, especially since the store page doesn't mention that this game doesn't work well in multiplayer, and just advertises that the game is co-op.

Although the game looked nice, and the world and enemy design was good, the game was fairly unstable. On top of the issues with multiplayer that were already mentioned, we encountered numerous other bugs, like getting hit by enemies through walls, certain sound effects being extremely loud, terminals becoming impossible to interact with, lifts getting stuck or characters clipping through them, flickering textures, characters randomly being launched away at high speeds, and the entire screen going black.

[b]TL;DR[/b] Although this platformer has a really unique premise, and the narration and level design is pretty interesting and enjoyable, the final portion of the story was very disappointing, the combat felt somewhat uninteresting, the multiplayer was barely playable, and the game was very unstable. This game might be worth it in singleplayer if you get it on sale, but I otherwise can't recommend it.

Wer B-Movies mag wird das hier lieben. Lob an die Entwickler, wirklich alle Details die man sich wünscht sind vorhanden. Absichtlich schlecht animierte Gegner (dennoch gut dargestellt), gespart an den Modellen, Flugelemente am sichtbaren Seil. Friendly Fire bei den Gegner, was das ganze nochmal komischer gestaltet. Eine Vielfalt von Gegnern, innovatives Design und ein bomben Soundtrack.
VHS und DVD Qualität für Audio und Video.
Waffen ... ja...

The game has a lot of charm, the story is imaginative and funny, but the gameplay is very lackluster.

The combat is extremely bland, and combat is the bulk of the gameplay. All three playable character are identical except for one skill. In order to open a path, you are forced to backtrack because you play as the wrong character.

The whole game felt like an overstretched Psychonauts level.

One of the funniest games of 2016 thanks to the director narrator's fourth wall breaking that is always aware of whatever you're doing in the game, even down to spinning around (commented on twice!) in an idle manner. What started as an innocent and funny examination about spinning in videogames turns into a heart-wrenching story of love and loss. It's a cute retro sci fi romp through movie sets and a gorgeously designed tower. Now ACE Team, give me Zeno Clash 3!

A short-ish game. The comedy is a mixed bag some of it was pretty funny some of it fell kinda flat.
Wasn't a hard game either but I enjoyed playing it as the controls were good and the combat decent, though the attack patterns were pretty basic
they give you loads of weapons options as well but honestly the novelty I think was the main goal, as you can only carry two of each ranged and melee at a time
Still I'd say it was pretty good and worth a play through

The Deadly Tower of Monsters is a hilarious send-up to the Sci-Fi B-movies of classic Hollywood, with an appropriately all-encompassing retro vibe. The whole thing plays like you're in a DVD remaster of an old sci-fi classic complete with funny 'DVD commentary' by the director and producer that lasts through the entire game, while you're playing. As one of three heroic protagonists you'll ascend an evil emperor's tower, blasting and slashing away at hordes of monsters, aliens, violent apes, and colossal bosses. The whole thing can be completed in just a few hours, but the game is so charming and enjoyable you'll likely want to play through it again right away. Unlock all those weapon upgrades you might have missed, collect those Steam achievements/cards or play using one of the other video filters (or lack of one)

In short, it's unique, doesn't overstay its welcome, and offers some truly funny dialog and great looking enemies. If you like humor and old monster movies, this is your game!

Roughly eight hours of old-school cinema vibe.
Some very unique concept and design choices.
The 80s/90s movie atmosphere is simply neat.
Definitely a really underrated ACE Team game.
I had a blast with it, especially on co-op mode.
And I would recommend it to cinema enjoyers.
Even achievement hunting felt fun, nice game.
Dialogues are also well written, I enjoyed that.
Very funny lines, even when you spun around.

Aunque es una expresión que no me gusta, The Deadly Tower of Monsters es una carta de amor al cine syfy de los 50-60, sobre todo a la peli Planeta Prohibido, cuya portada homenajea la de este videojuego. La campaña es ideal, una combinación de plataformas y algo de RPG y con mucha comedia en forma de comentarios del "director". En definitiva, un juego único que merece la pena jugar.

Pdta: Tiene un modo survival jodidamente difícil que me ha costado sudor y sangre completar, he blasfemado mucho hasta conseguir ese condenado último logro "Survive" que me quedaba.

Unexpectedly good! Nostalgic for 80s and 90s kids. You've never played a game like this! As you run through the 3rd person full 3D world, the narrator constantly makes jokes about the scene and what you are doing.

Climb the tower and the camera angle automatically changes to guide you on what the game wants you to do next. It's mostly linear but fun. I did get stuck once but reloading from the auto-save points was reliable.

First 20 min wasn't really my gaming style but it kept surprising me with it's humour and sprinkling of new "game mechanics" from start to the very end. I was impressed how well it handled incorporating so many references to other games sprinkled around including Mario, Space Invaders, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Dr Who, Mars Attacks, just a few simple platformer timed jumps, and more! Any other game would feel disjoint having so many styles of game play but this really does it well with short bursts. Addictive like a poker machine because you never know what's next.

The game designers are masterminds! Well paced and balanced for casual gamers. It's not difficult but you can also die very quickly with some enemies until you figure out how to kill them.

Mostly no loading time and jumping off the tower is encouraged to rack up new achievements which gives you Level Up skill points. The tower is cleverly designed to make you explore and jumping off at different places gives you access to new locations.

The ending is perfect! Well worth slogging though :)

PROS
* Fun story with great narration
* Dying is forgiving and instant respawn from most places
* Fun variety of melee and ranged weapons with levelling up
* 3D world is seamless and you can jump from the very top level to the bottom
* Its much bigger than you first imagine
* Achievements are actually quite fun to do and not arbitrary

CONS
* Simple battle mechanics. Extra mechanics exist but aren't necessary to master eg "parry" which is a dodge attack, dodge roll, deflect using a sword, jump attack (like Mario), jump + smash.
* Must do achievements to level up / get skill points
* Can get stuck in just a few places
* Weapons mostly do the same damage, no resistance / vulnerability
* Money is arbitrary and not really needed, you'll always have enough to level up
* Map wasn't really useful for me
* Cant zoom out camera, may feel restrictive

Historic Review: Games I played months if not years ago – I decided to start reviewing right at the end of 2023! Memory of a trepanned, ADHD toddler with impulse control issues notwithstanding.

Teaboy's Basic(ish) Reviews....I read a lot of reviews when looking at games on Steam, and it quickly gets tiring – those who write involved, down to the micron scale reviews, although helpful, end up like looking at War & Peace when you’ve only got time for a quick 5 minute dump! This is middle of the road and to the point – not easy for me as I tend towards sesquipedalian loquaciousness! Vociferously Verbose? Alright, verbal diarrhoea. (Although I hate panning a developer’s work and all the time, effort and love they put into designing these – it is their life after all – this is my honest, personal opinion of my level of enjoyment. Sorry devs!).

A note on time played: My Steam clock does not seem to work properly, indeed, it even minuses time on occasion! Plus, I have a tendency to wander off and leave games running at times, so time played may not be entirely accurate!

Teaboy’s Tonsil Titillators or Toenail Titbits! (Rating)

Tonsil Tickler (Totally Tops): The frenchy of which you always dreamt! To quote a master, “She’s got a tongue like an electric eel and she likes the taste of a Man’s tonsils!”. An absolute masterpiece and joy to play.

The Tits (Terrific): Everyone loves playing with these! Not THE best bit, but such fun on their own you can be lost for hours....mmmm. What most games you really like score – perfection is so rare after all.

Torso Teaser (Taker of your Time): It’s a flat stomach....sure it’s nice to look at, run your fingers over, slobber on a bit, sometimes that bellybutton gets your motor running....but it's just basically the corridor between the two ‘gaming rooms’. The definitive ‘Meh’ - the middle ‘sideways thumb’ option for which everyone on Steam cries.

Todger/Tadger & (scroTum) Taters (Tedious): Is it an ‘a’ or is it an ‘o’? Who cares! The meat can be fun to play with for about 5 minutes of your entire day, the rest it just hangs there and generally gets in the way of doing something else. The main problem of course, is the two veg sticking to your inside thigh. This is what this game feels like – the occasional/rare bouts of fun, the rest bobbing like a 19th century British Policeman (now you know why!).

Toenail Tornado (Total Toss): A playthrough so appalling it’s like being trapped in a Turkish sauna with the ugliest, hairiest, fattest, sweatiest beast of a neolithic hominid who’s trimming his toenails using pliers and the splinters are reminiscent of a scene from the Normandy Landings. My god how did this get released!?

This game is good fun! Great tongue-in-cheek humour make it even more enjoyable. Three heroes you need to swap between all the time so get to play with them all, and all through the game too, not just one then replay to try other etc.

It's a decent length and a good challenge without being frustrating and gives a nice touch of only being able to get through certain 'puzzles' or tests with a specific hero - you can only change heroes at special points, but this is part of the challenge and you can play much of the game with whichever is your favourite so swap to get through then swap back! Good stuff ;)

Fair array of weapons, good selection of different enemies, and so many levels to the tower! Combat is enjoyable, and a very good idea of a teleport option when inevitably falling off of the tower to beam you back to the spot from which you jumped/fell. Several bosses and jump challenges too!

An absolutely brilliant take on circa 1950's sci-fi films....mick take! Voice over is worth it on its on ;)

Lens flare! Is that a thumbprint on the screen? Who did that? C'mon guys, this is supposed to be serious drama....

Classic. Give it a go, it's a romp in a spacesuit....certainly would be in hers^^

Peccato per la monotonia delle fase action che rovina quello che poteva essere un capolavoro di genialità. Un gioco che è un omaggio al cinema fantascientifico degli anni '30; un gioco che si prende poco sul serio e trascina il giocatore in questo monster-movie low budget che è uno spasso da vedere, leggere e ascoltare (in particolare il commento del regista) ma un po' meno da giocare visto che la componente da TPS è proprio la meno riuscita.

No entanto, a era compreendida entre 1999 e 2010 também foi marcada por lançamentos espetaculares tanto de PS2 como de PS3, Gamecube, Xbox, Xbox 360 e NINTENDO Wii.

E há games que trazem de volta o melhor desse espírito dessa época da geração 128bits, entre eles, o game indie The Deadly Tower of Monsters. Esse game funciona no mesmo estilo do game GOD OF WAR de PS2, uma perspectiva ISOMÉTRICA em 3D, com elementos de RPG focado na narrativa.

TDToM entrega um game com um aspecto cinematográfico inspirado em filmes antigos de Hollywood da década de 1930, 1940, em que os efeitos especiais eram feitos usando uma técnica de "STOP-MOTION", muito comum em filmes antigos quando a indústria de cinema ainda não tinha tecnologia para desenvolver efeitos especiais usando COMPUTAÇÃO GRÁFICA.

TDToM é uma bela aventura cinematográfica recheada de gráficos belíssimos que exploram o charme dos filmes antigos e entregam, por vezes, cenas belíssimas de se ver com inimigos e chefes enormes na tela causando espanto e surpresa.

It's somewhat short but fun. Some interesting level design, since the whole thing is about climbing the "Deadly Tower of Monsters". Cool to see how small the world below you begins to look. Has a lot of different weapons that you can upgrade if you want to kill more time after you finish the game.

If you love 50s sci-fi B-movies, then play this. It's a comedic love letter to the genre and well worth the play-through for the story. Takes a little getting used to, but it's not nerve-wracking punishing in it's gameplay; Overall, very fun and entertaining.

I am 32 years old.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.

Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.

With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.

After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.

Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.

Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.

Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.
