Welcome to The Cabin Factory - as a newly hired Cabin Inspector your job is to inspect the cabins and determine whether or not they are haunted. Inspect the whole cabin: If haunted, turn back immediately and press 'danger'. Is safe, press 'clear'. The Cabin Factory is a short horror anomaly-hunting experience (~60 minutes) inspired by liminal spaces and psychological horror walking simulators, like 'The Exit 8', 'Pools', and their virtual predecessor, 'P.T.'.

ある異変に引っ掛かり続けて時間掛かってしまったが、早い人ならすぐ終わると思う。
このゲームは「異変が起きているか」ではなく「動いているか」で判断するので、最初は明らかにおかしいだろと思ってDANGER押してミスになると思う。
正常なオブジェクト配置パターンが複数種類あるというのは、この手のゲームでは珍しい。

Самая странная игра про аномалии, я уже понял, спустя 30 минут, что считаются только ДВИЖЕНИЯ, но порой, когда движений нет, или вообще не ничего нового - сбрасывается. Когда играл Куплинов, игра очень затягивала, по факту - херня. Пару раз видел одинаковых аномалий, по идеи это аномалии для достижения. Они меня и ловили , и просто на них смотрел - толку 0. Не одного не получил. Хз, очень разочарован.

Neat but short observation/scary little game.

I was curious about it, bought it for dirt cheap but it was a little over priced for the actual length of this mini game.

This game pisses me off too much.

Don't make your game a lore type game if your job is to go through a cabin, inspect if anything is wrong, and if it is, hit the red button. Except, you were SUPPOSE to FULLY go through it THAN hit the red button. Not just see that "oh ♥♥♥♥, that isn't supposed to do that" than hit the button. No no, you have to go through the WHOLE thing.

There are some parts that isn't lore tied but hitting the red button still is wrong. Like the boy kneeling at the TV. Nothing really happens with that, he just smiles at you. But you have to hit the button WHEN he smiles at you. If he isn't, than hitting the red button means you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, even though he has moved and is kneeling at the tv.

And sometimes that doesn't work! Like the dad looking through the window. You have to go up to him, window breaks, THAN you can run out and hit the red button. There are times I've ran up to it but it wouldn't break. This game is broken.

Spooky, sad, and a little silly at times. I enjoyed this game a lot and I am not a huge horror game player. The story behind everything was emotional enough to have an impact on me, and the gameplay kept things fun and mostly non-repetitive. It was a fast playthrough but highly enjoyable.

i wanted to like this game, i really did, but its just not good.

i want to preface this by saying it has potential, but its current state is just not enjoyable.
to start it off, its very poorly optimised. i run a 3060, and on the highest setting it was only slightly better than a slideshow. the graphics menu has presets, but the last one just doesnt work, and i honestly cant even tell the difference between all of them.
the premise of the game was creative, but it turned out to be a lazy asset flip. the instructions were incredibly vague, and it was only like 20 minutes in that i learned what the board ment by "movement" (actual movement, not just layout changes)
the cabin itself was really mediocre, it had 4 rooms in a regular run, and sometimes 6 when an anomaly occured. the exterior design on the cabin was an eyesore, as it lacked any decoration other than the front door.
the lore was alright, i think its cool how the character we play as has a nametag of one of the children on her, i just dont think its good for the lore that when you die you get sent back to the elevator with the mirror.

the advertising made it seem like there were more than one cabin, but its really just one, and there is no actual change to the layout of the cabin, just the props move.

4/10 has potential

nice sound design, eerie atmosphere (even with the warehouse peeking through the windows), some haunted cabins have movement so slight you get chills when you finally notice them.

all in all, a neat little horror game. absolutely worth the price. has a neat little story to piece together, too.

Вы - сотрудник компании Cabin Factory, который недавно устроился на работу. Казалось бы, приходи на смены, да хижины чекай, ничего сложного. Тогда в чём подвох?
А всё дело в том, что в них можно встретить своего рода аномалии, которые нужно правильно определить и решить отправить ту или иную хижину в производство или снять с эксплуатации.

Внутри можно встретить всё. От едущей по столу кружке, свисающих под лестницами девочек, мальчиков, что смотрят телевизоры и улыбаются вам через отражение экрана совсем не доброй улыбкой, до ведьмы в подвале, которая будет преследовать вас громким топотом до выхода.
Больше всего нас с друзьями напугал мужичок за окном с молотком, который решил выйти из-за хижины и начать преследовать нас за пределами "опасной зоны".

Игра вкидывает своего рода лор, но очень поверхностный. Во всём остальном лично мне понравилось.

Оценка- 8/10 аномалий из десяти

Totally worth the cost. Its not massive like some of the spot the difference games. But it's plenty for 3 bucks. I refunded a 5 dollar game yesterday with more in it cause it lacked quality and felt like a cash grab. This one doesn't feel that way. they even have story elements added to it even if its just a little bit.

I'd love to see what else they decide to make.

ON SALE? Worth it. This game felt like a fever dream. Especially at certain points. If you stream this game has twitch integration that you don't need secondary things attached to your twitch for. Just plug your username and it picks up the chat votes your chat is putting down (!danger, !clear, !death) and people in chat who guess correctly get to show off on a little scoreboard in the bottom left corner of the stream.

Now... There were a few times both twitch chat and I genuinely did not see any movement and were told it was wrong when we voted and said it was clear. Now that highly likely is user error but... besides that 8/10

Honestly, my hopes weren't high for this game. I haven't really played games in this genre because I usually find them predictable—something popping out in front of you, around a corner or behind you.

Although short (about 2 hours), it has a minor story and for the price you can't go wrong. Overall, it exceeded my expectations and I admit… it was creepy.

This is a prime example of a 10/10 indie horror game. It's got story, it's intruiging, keeps you on the edge of your seat. It had some good jump scares and even some wildly unexpected laughs. The only drawback is I didn't want it to end!

整体还不错，但是有个异常我必须给差评！！！！就是玩具小屋的模型在2楼，然后房间里面都是看不见的灵体这个异常，恶心到要死，需要你从2楼开始走出去，灵体是看不见的，还在移动，你非常容易碰到然后被顶死，撞上的瞬间屏幕红了后，后退或者往旁边走一点很多时候也没法不死，很容易还是撞上旁边的灵体，这个异常，我死了7，8次最终才走出小屋门！！！这个异常大大的差评，做的什么鬼东西，完全靠运气和反复尝试，太恶心了！！！就这一个异常我得给差评！！！！还有个地下室母亲追逐的那个异常，也小恶心，她追你的速度比你跑的速度要快一点，得赶紧出地下室门，我是被追上2次才过的，也恶心，你把母亲的速度追人速度调低点不行么，比主角跑的快很容易被追上！

This game is so much fun. Had some hair raising scary moments. Smiling the whole play through.
As a humble worker in a factory...your job is to check each newly made wood cabin to see if it is haunted or not. Each cabin roll along a conveyor belt, stops at your station and you then enter the cabin door, unknowing what to expect. A simple premise and yet so unique. Genius.
Very cool, but very short. Though for the cost of less than a cup of coffee, I think is worth the price. Would love to see a DLC that expands the cabin hauntings. Hopefully the Devs make a longer game in the future.

Achievement Hunters: this one is easy. Complete 100% in 1-2 hours no problemo.

The Cabin Factory fulfilled my jump scare itch without adding the stress of a survival horror. I like that it tells a story and the spooks were definitely effective (and fun!).

I will mention that this game seems to be quite graphics intensive, which was unexpected. There are several adjustable graphics options, but I left mine higher because it wasn't detrimental, though my GPU ran hot the entire play-through.

The play time is on the shorter side, but I think that the price is worth it for entertainment value alone. If you're looking for a little spook session, I'd say that this game is a good choice!

Блин, я очень надеялся на эту игру, как фанат олдскульных ужасов типа Зловещих Мертвецов.
И задумка-то отличная, и графика, и оптимизация (фиговая, честно говоря, но какая-никакая есть).
Но она проходится за полчаса. За полчаса, Карл!
И избушка тут одна, я наделся, что вот закроешь ты 8\8 первых одинаковых избушек - хоба, вторая подъехала новая, с новым интерьером, новыми призраками.
А вместо этого - "Почисти-ка ту же избушку еще 20 раз".
При этом историю семьи в хижине узнаешь в первые 10 минут.

Нет, я понимаю, полтора бакса, чего ты хотел. Но е-мое, контента на 30 минут при такой задумке - это просто смешно.

As I write this, I'm not sure if I'm going to hit that thumbs up button or not.

After a bit of searching around, it seems that this is an "Anomaly game" and that's a whole genre unto itself. It's the first game of this type I've played so I don't know how to rank it against other similar games. But I've played my fair share of indie horror games (check my other reviews) and I feel like this doesn't hold up very well compared to most of those. It's a spooky game of "spot the difference." And most of the time, the differences are unmissable.

At least, they're unmissable after I adjusted my monitor's brightness. I realized that my monitor was set way too dark and I couldn't even see half of the cabin.

For around $2 USD, it's a worthwhile experience that'll take you between 30 minutes to an hour to complete. Performance on the Steam Deck was acceptable - around 30fps at 720p Medium settings.

Мы — новоиспеченный инспектор таинственных хижин. Где случилось неведомое. (А может и не случилось).
Задача проста: заходить в уютные лесные домики и проверять их на наличие аномалий. Если в хижине всё тихо — жмём кнопку "Clear". Но если картина подмигнула, а табуретка ушла на кухню пить чай — бьём в набат и валим как можно скорее. Не успели убежать? — В хижине станет на одного домочадца больше. :)

Это моя первая игра в жанре "поиска аномалий". И, если честно, я ожидала, что буду просто заходить [strike] на этаж [/strike] в дом, пристально вглядываться в предметы, пытаясь углядеть НЕЧТО. Но этот проект меня приятно удивил. Жути нагнал до мурашек!

Местные "обитатели" хижины — это отдельный вид искусства. Они выглядят так, будто забыли, как быть людьми, и решили вместо этого попрактиковаться в "эффекте зловещей долины". Игра умело сочетает в себе и создание пугающей атмосферы, и поиск аномалий. Последние, кстати, находятся довольно быстро. Не надо смотреть на чёрный ковёр 10 минут, чтобы понять, брат он нам нам или не брат.

Поэтому увидеть все аномалии, а также выполнить наш долг инспектора — не составит труда. Только вот будем ли мы в безопасности, когда закончим работу?...

Прекрасный способ развить в себе внутреннего перфекциониста и лёгкую шизофрению.

I liked the atmosphere in the game. There are almost no screamers, but at the same time this little story inspires a little fear. Especially when you're being chased around the house :)

Its just one story over the span of 8 cabins - I went into this expecting a lot more than what I got
Feels like a horror spot the difference puzzle
Also runs like ♥♥♥♥ using a bunch of premade assets - looks decent but no clue why this has such high ratings

I played it when my friend was over and I think we both enjoyed a bit of fun with it. It some creepy parts and slightly scary parts when you get chased lol. I also prefer this over some other anomaly games because there is somewhat a story to it.

A very quick and breezy "spot-the-difference" game where your character Greta inspects cabins for the Cabin Factory to make sure they aren't haunted. Some really fun scares and environmental storytelling make this $3 game worth the price, not to mention the good graphics and atmosphere.

I ended up "beating" in like 30 minutes. It's not my favorite anomaly type game, but it definitely scratches the itch. I will say when trying to find all the cabins, there were times where I just chose the opposite of what I thought, because some of the haunted cabins are so miniscule I could not figure them out. Fun and short though.

350円と言うにはあまりにも出来が良く、8番出口・のりばとは違い配置等に異常があったら報告と言うのではなく、あくまでも何かしら動いた場合のみ報告と言うことなので勘違いしやすいです。
微量のストーリー性もあって楽しめる一本でございます。

Me cuesta mucho recomendarlo y al mismo tiempo siento que es una injusticia no hacerlo.

El mejor aspecto de juego sin duda es la mini historia interesante, y sobre todo, un doblaje en Castellano muy, muy cuidado. Mis dieces a la actriz de voz, lo ha clavado por completo.

El precio es muy asequible para lo que es, una o dos horas de juego perfectamente. Secretos relativamente bien escondidos y una buena variedad de anomalías. Algunas escalofriantes y otras muy simples pero divertidas de buscar y encontrar.

Por otro lado. El rendimiento es pésimo. Tengo un maldito ordenador de la NASA y he tenido tirones muy extraños en ciertos autoguardados o cambios de escena. La primera vez que inicié el juego, los FPS se me redujeron a la mitad por un glitch en el pelo del personaje, que no se arregló hasta que lo reinicié.

Quiero pensar que no es un asset flip, aunque lo parece. Necesitaría un poco más de cuidado y cariño, nada más.
