me gusto, no diria que es el mejor juego que aya jugado en toda mi vidaa pero la verdad es que esta bien hecho el arte la historia me dejo enganchada jugandolo hasta que termino.

En mi punto de vista, completamente me gusta este tipo de videojuegos y ya necesitaba algo para pasarmelo en una tarde por que ya e acumulado varios videojuegos sin completar.

Eu espero pra jogo desde 2023, e o meu nivel de satisfação foi muito alto.
O jogo simplesmente possui uma pixel art muito linda, e a animação é super gostosa de se ver aos olhos.
A historia do jogo ainda n está completa, mais só no capitulo 1 já recebi vários plot twiste, momentos em q me doeu o coração só de responder errado e temer uma consequência no futuro, fases em q me deu real tensão o jogo é simplesmente ótimo.
os puzles por mais q eu tenha achado fáceis são criativos.
mais agora q começa a crítica de vdd.
tem partes q simplesmente eu fiquei preso nela por hrs , isso n é nescessariamente ruim só irritante mesmo.
o jogo quase nunca te mostra onde tem q ir, então vc vai ter q contar com a sorte para achar algo , e n é tipo algo invisivel , mais é coisa q é bem dificil de perceber.

I believe we all have some form of interest in mascot horror, least if you came here to read reviews, buy the game, or watch it from some white guy who uploads daily on the youtube platform.

My time with The Bunny Graveyard was a mixed bag, as my personal desire was getting both good character writing, and a good standalone story atop of that. While I can't in any good faith say what it came up with was bad, and by all means this is not a completed story yet at all, it's use of arguably 4 real actual characters, came with varying results. The bunny characters were decently interesting, Slivie more over than Boxers, but the fish folk were more than just underutilized, their impact felt like their single reason to exist in the story is only fulfilling if you saw them as bystanders, not as characters you make connections with where you arguably feel more bad for, just more folks for a questionable slaughter and it's consequences. This isn't to mention the fade to black for Nelson on the boat, with you both getting eaten by a large fish, only to find his head deep into a forest pathway for some reason.
While Nelson did have more screentime and some more actual reason to feel for, his time was far too short for his death to leave me with much pity. Ben is arguably worse, even for a character that doesn't die, we barely even spend 5 minutes getting to learn about him, or connecting to him other than passively through Nelson, his writing and voice acting honestly took me out of the experience, with how he wasn't hushing his voice when talking in the vents, or leaving the upstairs area. His deconstruction of how he sees the player after telling him the truth, feels tacky, and while understandable to a degree, honestly was written in a very unserious way too, it really just doesn't work with him to blame and assume everything, over trying and failing to take out Slivie, like it was a super heroic feat, and like he had the back of every helping hand, and that we are the straw that broke the camel's back. It really just left me not really caring a single bit more about him than I already did, it oddly felt kinda racist for the hand people, which is a really stupid sentence to even write up, but that's how ridiculous it genuinely felt.
Boxers is somewhat also a weird character, mostly due to how the game's story is set up, and we are just a stranger in this land in the middle of more important matters, but by being a stranger, it makes it harder to actually enjoy the company of other strangers in a world, unless they have enough of a personality that peaks interest. I am interested somewhat in Boxers, but he also feels a bit dry to me, being both really showy but really closed up makes him neat, but also makes interactions more troubling to make that much heads or tails out of him, while it's good they don't play all his cards, his general personality doesn't super flourish being a leader or an awkward guy, some type of freak in the middle of it, but not really having the push in the writing or acting to really follow through. I think later chapters can improve this as he is likable enough, and not annoying.
Slivie is the most interesting character thus far, so I'll have better to say here about her. I genuinely enjoyed questioning her motives, and I thought as a powerful villain who stepped in others' ways to keep them in line was interesting and done decently enough. There is a few hiccups I find of if maybe they should of held the reveal a little more, leaving me confused on if her coughing up is only a thing she does in her skye form, and her Ai in the maze feeling like a pathetic presence compared to like every other cutscene of her clear brutal strengths. Also side rant rq, why can she grow in size in one cutscene and just not do it again? Also why the hell did they not let her keep the country accent, her actual voice feels plainer without it, and the actual skye doesn't seem to have a southern drawl either so this feels like a missed opportunity given her voice was my favorite, the actor clearly was putting the most work in I think at least. Aside from that, I hope she can express more than a smile, it's not a great indie trope, and her being able to hide her mouth is a good start, expressions on a villain in this genre are heavily missed.
I have some more general grievances that I can't carry into lengthy paragraphs, so have some bullet points instead.
- The game doesn't feel like a good standalone story, due to it's pretty weak use of side characters, gameplay sections, and it's replayability is basically all gone once you obtain every achievement.
- The game does not at all feel like an action, adventure as it is listed in the genre section (why isn't horror there???), this is an honest to god 2d walking sim, with minigames that are semi fun, and morso feel like distractions from better possible gameplay that could of been made.
- The Gacha is pretty badly used, no bios included or anything, starfy on the nintendo ds did this, and even the odds of that Gacha were better, even after getting money from all the achievements I still didn't get everything and they are practically worthless. Not to mention you can use it prior to seeing things in the game and get spoiled which sucks.
- The game still has some weird bugs for a game that's been out for this long, when revisiting acts I found some loading screens would fail and load forever, and some parts of the game wouldn't boot up properly, needing to be reloaded, only a replaying problem but one non-the-less. Plus there were some achievements for boxing popping, despite not even doing their actual requirements in-game.
- The secret cutscene feels like it could’ve been replaced with a better reward, so this part of the storyline could’ve been revealed in a more interesting way in the future, rather than more sequel pushing.
- The stealth sections need significantly more fine tuning, possibly with the camera work being played with more, having them out of screen and just kinda waiting is very boring, and their Ai is very jank.
- I was gonna write a larger section about this, but I rather not, the hands in general are a fun concept but I find it hard to feel that attached due to not feeling like they are social enough, they feel just a bit like cartoony plot relevant background characters, and I wish were built up more like people rather than mostly innocents with weird origin.
- Wish the game was more visible by default for the darker areas, or used a different more easy to see palette, making playing during the sunlight hours troublesome.
- The stamina meter feels a bit tacky to have throughout the whole game, and it has weird functions that feel like unresolved coding ventures, for how the game remembers it through switching between acts.
I'll leave this review with some finale remarks, about various good things you can find in this title.
- The pixel art is incredibly well crafted, sometimes some animations have weird effects for movement, but overall the art department is good.
- The music is very pleasant overall for its various moods and choices.
- Pretty good atmosphere for the most part, making things fit pretty well for it's different moments mostly.
- The character designs, while not perfect, are pretty good, and feel refreshing, though I hope to see more dynamic bunny builds and facial features in the future.
- Fingertaker is admittedly funny, and I wish more hands were used like him.
- The story seems like it can take shape well for a full experience, and the introduction of some type of possible war concept would make this a very unique story element.
While not everyone will feel the same way I do, this is how I feel, while I do not regret my purchase, I want to see a lot of improvement to make me buy the next chapter, the next one seems to have 7 new characters, and this one could barely handle 4, so I hope they genuinely have grown from this. If you love pixelated cute animations mixed with body horror and gore with black colored blood then I highly recommend this game to those who want's to give this a shot! (trust me there is body horror in this game)
