Tell Me Why is honestly an amazing experience from start to finish. After completing the game, I can say it really stayed with me in a way that not many games do.

The storytelling is the strongest part - it's emotional, well-written & keeps u invested in the characters the entire time. The bond between the twins feels real & deep & the choices u make add weight to the story in a meaningful way. It's one of those games where u're not just playing, u're feeling everything alongside the characters.

The atmosphere, music & pacing all come together beautifully to support the narrative. It's not about action or fast gameplay, but about immersion & emotional impact - & it absolutely delivers on that.

Overall, i loved every moment of it. Tell Me Why is a powerful, memorable game that I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys story-driven experiences.

100%-ed the game, and played it through twice, once on console so i have like 25 hours in it. I think it has a decent story, with variety (as I already said, I played it through twice), in every conversation you have multiple choices, and they doesn't really impact the ending, the different answer a fun to hear.

Amei jogar este jogo. Os gêmeos são ótimos personagens e o suspense é melhor ainda. A história é boa e, apesar do final não ser tão marcante quanto de outros jogos da DONTNOD (em especial os finais de Life is Strange), o melhor para mim foi o caminho até esse final.

I don't know why people say this is a bad game, sometimes the pacing is kind of slow, sure. Sometimes the trans awareness is shoved in your face, sure. It can be a little corny. But I also think it's great representation the world needs right now and overall the story has great writing and has great writing about mental health and mental health awareness, how community can build and at the same time fall apart. The nuances of it all. To be honest, I think there are people just as corny and white as Tyler in real life, so I don't even blame the writers for that. I do hate Alyson though. She's a pretty well written character, just wish she wasn't there. That's my only nitpick with this game.

Po arcydziele jakim jest Life is Strange i dobrej kontynuacji w postaci Life Is Strange 2 Don't nod poszło na swoje i wyprodukowało Tell Me Why. Rozstanie się ze Square Enix nie wyszło anty potakiwaczom na dobre. Gra jest pod każdym względem regresem w porównaniu do poprzednich produkcji. Interfejs użytkownika jest obrzydliwy, a opóźnienie przy każdej akcji sprawiało, że odechciewało się cokolwiek oglądać. Gra jest stosunkowo krótka i ciągle poruszamy się po tych samych lokacjach. Nie wiem, czy mieli wtedy problemy finansowe, ale ta gra wygląda jakby jej budżet to była kawa i opakowanie donutów. Graficznie? Gorzej. Soundtrack? Jakby wygenerowało go AI, tylko takie z 2018. Całe 12 godzin rozgrywki to był marsz pogrzebowy dla tak cenionych przeze mnie produkcji Don't Nod.

Teraz przejdźmy do najgorszej części Tell Me Why. Fabuła. Jestem osobą, której nie przeszkadzają motywy powszechnie uznawane jako "woke" w grach. No ale wszystko ma swoje granice. Cała gra wydaje się, jakby była jednym wielkim manifestem politycznym jej twórców. Mamy tam wszystko. Trans, geje, mniejszości etniczne, ekologia, rasizm, ksenofobia. Wszystko wpychane w mordę graczowi na każdym etapie rozgrywki, żeby przypadkiem sam nie myślał, tylko akceptował ten progresywny, cukierkowy i bajkowy świat, gdzie wszyscy się kochają. Historia schodzi na drugi plan, kiedy ktoś produkuje grę w postaci ulotki politycznej.

Drugi kulejący aspekt to wybory. W tej grze nie ma absolutnie żadnych wyborów. Nic się nie zmienia podczas rozgrywki oprócz innych ikonek w prawym górnym rogu i lekko innych dialogach. Niby są dwa zakończenia, ale zależą one tylko od finalnego wyboru. Coś, co ratuje większość gier ze słabą historią tutaj jest nieobecne. Niby są tam jakieś lepsze momenty, zwłaszcza końcowe, ale dalej to co najwyżej muska strefę dobrego storytellingu, a nie wyraźnie ją przekracza (zrobić minigierkę z ataku paniki to jeden z największych absurdów btw).

Podsumowując, nudne jak flaki z olejem, nie czuć stawki, nie nadrabia mechanikami, grafiką, klimatem czy dźwiękiem. Czasami ma swoje lepsze momenty, ale nie są one wystarczające, żeby poświęcić temu 12 godzin. Osobiście odradzam.

Si obtuviste el producto de manera gratuita te diría que pruebes de darle una chance, total no perdés nada.
Ahora, no sé si vi mal, pero puede ser que dejó de ser gratuito? En ese caso te recomiendo que inviertas en otro título porque la verdad que me resultó bastante soso, aburrido, lento.
Los puzzles están muy mal pensados. Tenés algunos que te obligan a leerte 80 paginas del libro para poder resolverlos y otros son tan tontos que resulta que no era necesario leer nada, aunque la narrativa del juego te lo sugiere y terminás perdiendo el tiempo leyendo al pedo cuando la respuesta era hacer coincidir unos colorcitos o fijarte en el dibujo del cuento.
Las escenas de charlas que no son cinemáticas pero tampoco te dejan moverte me resultaron infumables. No entiendo qué quisieron inventar ahí pero espero que no lo hagan nunca más.
Como es usual, este estudio acá también metió una cuota de romance totalmente innecesaria. Ya es agotador que sigan metiendo romances que no van para ningún lado y que resulten completamente indiferentes en la historia y en el desarrollo de los personajes. Entiendo que sea una herramienta para generar ships y que por afuera del juego esto sirva como una ayuda publicitaria, pero denle un sentido! Es demasiado forzado y no es el primer título en el que pasa. Basta.

Un puntito a favor es la historia de la madre. Creo que si le hubiesen dado más profundidad y foco a esto y no tanto al presente duelo de los gemelos, el resultado sería muchísimo más positivo. El final no llega a ser tan emotivo como amerita el tema que trata y me parece que el porqué va por este lado. Te plantean la historia de la madre como la corriente que nos maneja a lo largo del juego, pero aún teniendo ese objetivo sentí que la trataron como una historia secundaria. Faltó desarrollar, pero sobre todo CONECTAR con el jugador.

Influencial to say the least. Like Life is Strange, this one is going to leave a mark on me for a long, long time. I really wish that this game got more recognition. I regret putting it down when I first played it back in 2024... It has a deeply emotional, beautifully written story, and I loved all of the fairy-tale elements. The environments and graphics are incredible, and snowy locations are always an instant favourite. On top of that, I really admire how DONTNOD makes the game free every Pride Month.

Акценты в сюжете смещены с истории которая могла бы тебя заинтересовать на очень внаглую пихаемую, ненужную и рушащую весь сценарий лгбт повестку через глаза одного из двух героев. A primeira coisa pra se falar de Tell Me Why é de que se trata de um game 'woke'. Esse termo é utilizado constantemente como ataque pejorativo a todo e qualquer título que aborda algo minimamente progressista. Contudo, anoto desde já que não é o intuito dessa análise parecer um senhor de idade alheio a realidade da transexualidade.

A crítica aqui, na verdade, é muito mais ligada aos personagens do que aos elementos progressistas em si, Significa dizer que o jogo é woke porque, ao contrário de Life is Strange, em boa parte do tempo esquece o desenvolvimento da história para se concentrar em pautas identitárias e ligadas à esquerda. Basicamente, o jogo confia que será profundo e bom porque está "do lado certo da história", o que nunca foi suficiente para que um título fosse efetivamente bom.

O principal problema do jogo reside nos personagens principais, que são bem pouco gostáveis por suas características pessoais. Tyler, que é um homem trans, no início da gameplay nada mais é do que um jovem revoltado e chato que incomoda todo mundo. Na vida real, fora do mundo maravilhoso de Bobby do jovem moderno, ninguém aguentaria cinco minutos com alguém com uma atitude como a de Tyler, já que a sua história de vida não é um salvo conduto para ser um babaca.

Alyson, irmã de Tyler, nada mais é do que uma garota chorona e carente que não consegue passar cinco minutos sem choramingar alguma coisa. No tempo que não está chorando, Alyson está ensinando algo para os outros personagens, sendo que, na verdade, o objetivo é que os desenvolvedores expliquem algo para nós, jogadores, que aparentemente somos burros demais para entender algo pela ação.

Além disso, menciona-se que os dois protagonistas, tão diferentes entre si, compartilham apenas uma única característica: ambos são insuportavelmente chatos e querem ensinar a todos os personagens "velhos e antiquados" como eles fazem absolutamente tudo errado. Encampam, portanto, a figura do jovem woke moderno, que enxerga tudo de uma forma iluminada e resolutiva, ao contrário das gerações anteriores que são meros ignorantes retrógrados que precisam ser educados o tempo inteiro.

A partir dessas características dos protagonistas, conclui-se o grande problema do jogo: você não consegue torcer pelos personagens. Eles de fato progridem com o tempo a depender das suas escolhas, mas, em 80% do jogo, são praticamente impossíveis de se gostar.

Além disso, as escolhas do jogo não apresentam qualquer conflito para uma pessoa de mínimo bom senso. Não há, ao longo do gameplay, uma decisão que realmente te faça pensar, nenhum conflito moral, nenhuma decisão que te convença do efetivo progresso dos personagens ou traga, ao jogador, qualquer dificuldade em escolher o certo. A decisão moralmente certa é sempre óbvia, não trazendo qualquer complicador concreto para o jogador que não seja um jovem revoltado com a vida.

Por isso, toda a carga emocional toda parece artificial, criada por um fato traumático e diferentes visões sobre ele. Parece ser um título que precisa cumprir todos os itens da cartilha e que, com isso, não consegue passar a profundidade que era necessário para que a história atingisse o objetivo pretendido.

Pra ser justo, no finalzinho do título, ele até surpreende e engrena, mostrando uma evolução de Tyler e Alyson. A parte final do terceiro capítulo é genuinamente interessante. Mas o que eu faço com o resto do jogo todo? Com toda a chatice e a morosidade? Onde coloco a falta de desafio, a gameplay morosa e a falta de momentos efetivamente marcantes? E o que eu faço com um jogo de decisões que, nem mesmo no seu climax, não oferece uma decisão concreta que crie resultados objetivos na história?

A trilha sonora do jogo entra nessa mesma lógica. Existem boas músicas, mas o jogo nem de longe repete o sucesso de LIS nesse tocante.

Por outro lado, os gráficos e cenários são realmente muito bonitos e trazem um sentimento bom para o jogador. Ademais, outro ponto positivo é que não experimentei muitos bugs, de modo que o jogo parece bem otimizado.

Em resumo, Tell Me Why é um jogo fraco, que tenta ser profundo, mas não consegue. É um jogo que quer seguir a cartilha sem se preocupar em proporcionar decisões difíceis. O mote inicial do jogo, envolvendo a mãe dos protagonistas e um homicídio, até convence bem, mas o jogo só volta a trazer alguma coisa interessante nos últimos minutos, tornando todo o transcurso da gameplay morosa e extremamente monótona.

O enredo não é dos piores, apesar de ser até cômica a forma como os dois simplesmente aceitam o fato de que têm um poder sobrenatural. Esse e outros furos comprometem um pouco a narrativa, mas nem de longe prejudicam tanto quanto a falta de qualidade dos personagens.

Caso os personagens fossem mais gostáveis e o jogador fosse confrontado com verdadeiros conflitos, o jogo poderia ser bom. Como não foi o caso, entendo que existem outros títulos no mercado muito superiores a Tell Me Why, que merece ser jogado apenas pelo público alvo, que possivelmente terá uma opinião diferente daquela exposta nesta análise.

Em resumo, não se trata de um jogo ruim, mas longe de ser um título relevante o suficiente para ser recomendado. A vida é curta e jogar jogos medíocres não é a melhor forma de aproveitarmos nosso tempo. Meu conselho é dar preferência para outros títulos, que conseguem atingir a profundidade emocional que Tell Me Why tanto tentou, sem sucesso.

PS: Voltei apenas para fazer menção honrosa a dublagem, que é uma das piores que eu já vi em um jogo. Talvez ela seja responsável direta pela negativação do jogo de tão escabrosa. Pior ainda que sequer conseguimos mudar a língua do jogo... Sofrimento total.

I got this game for free at one point and I have now finished it twice. I didn't expect it to become one of my favorites but it really has. The graphics and the story are so good, the characters all feel very believable and the puzzles are fun and challenging, without being annoyingly complicated. I really enjoyed this one.

So far I am loving this game. Found it under "Free to Play" in the store. It's so nice and simple to play, and the storyline has me in a chokehold. As a queer, ciswoman, I am loving the trans representation in this game. I've already started suggesting this game for friends to check out! While I am already a sturdy ally for the trans community, this game is giving me better insight into their every day lives (i.e awkward encounters with people that knew you pre-transition). 11/10. Play this game, it makes you more human in this dark and uncertain world. "BuT gAy AnD tRaNs-" Stop it. Shuttup. If you're about to get mad about a trans character, you need to play this game the most. Put yourself in their shoes, see life through their eyes, and grow into a better person by the end of this game.

Schon kurz nach Spielstart kam Langeweile auf. Eine langweilige Bootsfahrt später, welche gefühlt eine Ewigkeit dauerte und langweiligem Kram auf der Fähre, dachte ich nun geht es endlich los. Bin jetzt unter dem Haus und frage mich wozu mache ich das, ich langweile mich ja nur. Fazit, ich habe 4 Stunden Langeweile erlebt obwohl ich ein Spiel gespielt habe. Das reicht mir aber, der Titel ist bereits deinstalliert.

Como nos tiene acostumbrados DONTNOD, Tell Me Why es una historia bastante sentimental sobre los recuerdos y un misterio.

Aunque el juego no le agrade a todos por su carga LGTB+, la verdad es que no es la gran cosa más allá de dos personajes, siendo uno el principal, y ese factor queda bastante de lado a lo largo de la historia.

El juego se centra en descubrir el pasado de la madre de los chicos y… siento que está bien, pero tiene la misma plantilla de Life Is Strange o de los juegos de Telltale. Básicamente, todo lo que te cuentan a lo largo del capítulo sirve para nutrir el lore de los personajes o de quienes los rodean, pero lo que realmente mueve la trama es el cliffhanger del final, donde te quedás re loco, como en el primer capítulo. Fuera de eso, se repite lo mismo que pasó en Life Is Strange 1, el personaje que aparece dos veces y dice cinco boludeces termina siendo el “villano” del juego. Además, la manera de confundirte haciéndote creer que en realidad es otro personaje resulta bastante tonta y se nota al toque. Parece que piensan que hacen juegos para nenes de cinco años. Pero bueno.

En cuanto a la música, que es una de las mejores cosas que tiene la saga Life Is Strange, acá no está al mismo nivel. Hay buenos temas, pero se centra más en la banda sonora original y no tanto en canciones ya existentes. Hablando del sonido, destaco el doblaje latino del juego, todo gracias a que el editor es Xbox; si no, a leer subtítulos. Destaco todo el doblaje menos la voz de Tyler, que se siente sumamente fuera de lugar. Sus escenas agresivas, por decirlo así, carecen de sentimiento; claramente la persona que hizo la voz no estaba calificada para ese trabajo.

Tell Me Why funciona... sus personajes son interesantes, el misterio es lo suficientemente entretenido como para querer terminarlo, y gráficamente el juego es hermoso. Te dan ganas de mudarte a Alaska.

Ważne wybory? Wywalenie obrączki do wody jest serio takie ważne?
Musiałem wywalić 2 razy te obrączkę żeby przejść grę na 100%.
Odebraliście mi 30 godzin z życia, mógłbym ten czas spędzić z moim ukochanym kolegom rencista ale wybrałem odbieranie sobie zdrowej psychiki przechodząc te grę 2 razy.
Eksploracja? Według was liczenie pluszaków Waltera White'a w magazynie jest taka niesamowita eksploracja.
Dzięki wam przypomniałem sobie o traumatycznej pracy w Kauflandzie.
Grafika? Tej rudej szmacie oko ucieka a Tyler wygląda w tej fryzurze jak po chemioterapii.
W sumie stwierdzając po zakończeniu gry chyba ją przeszedł.
Jedynym dobrym elementem graficznym tej gry jest gyatt Wujka Eddy'ego
Podczas mojej rozgrywki oglądały to 4 osoby: 3 całkowicie zniszczyły się psychicznie wysłuchując intensywnych dźwięków romantycznych na lodzie, a 4 już była niestabilna emocjonalnie.

P.s.
Jak będziecie mieli czelność zrobić drugą część chętnie zagram (ale nie na trzeźwo)
