Продолжение первой части, которое ничуть не хуже, а местами даже лучше. Снова большое количество загадок и препятствий ждет Кейт, но она к этому времени стала совсем матерой, ее просто так не возьмешь. Продвигаем дальше сюжет, разгадываем головоломки, ищем способ добраться до Сибирии. Музыкальное сопровождение на уровне, классные локации, атмосфера и просто неимоверное количество снега. Однозначно рекомендую к прохождению, не пожалеете.

Достойное завершение дилогии. И лучше бы на этом и закончили вообще. Лучше проходить обе части подряд, так приключение кажется связанным. К сожалению игра потеряла часть атмосферы первой части и ее трагичность. Здесь все тоже роад муви, но так как локации стали местами больше, ка беготни, то игра уже воспринимается не так. Во второй части логика головоломок теряется беготни что бы поговорить и продвинуться в приключении стало больше. И вторая часть все же хуже. Но пройти ее стоит. Ведь хочется узнать нашел Ганс мамонтов или нет.

Trama e personaggi più semplici rispetto al suo predecessore, ma gli ambienti più selvaggi, gli enigmi decisamente più tosti e la sensazione di essere alla fine di un grandioso rendono questo gioco una meraviglia, davvero, di rara bellezza.
Da non appassionata del genere, Syberia e Syberia II sono state le mie prime avventure grafiche, mi sono emozionata sul finale... Un'esperienza nuova e stupenda.

¿Qué puede decirse de Syberia 2 que no se haya dicho ya?

Siempre teniendo en cuenta la fecha de salida del juego, es magnífico. No puede ignorarse su influencia en el colectivo de juegos [i]point & click[/i]. La banda sonora, sublime, es un aderezo perfecto a esa estética steampunk por la que es conocido.

Desde el punto de vista historiográfico, dejando a un lado el resto de apartados jugables, es un digno juego de su época. A través de los elementos escogidos por los autores para representar ciertas narrativas o grupos llegamos a atisbar (algunos son sutiles, otros no tanto) estereotipos racistas. Siempre conviene tener eso en cuenta, además de para no perpetuarlos, a fin de hacernos las correspondientes preguntas: ¿Por qué está así reflejado? ¿Qué nos dice sobre el contexto cultural en el que se produjo el juego? ¿Cómo se representarían a día de hoy dichas narrativas? Aunque el juego presente realidades ficticias, éste posee paralelismos reales muy concretos.

Si lo vas a jugar... ¡Ten paciencia! Hay algunos elementos que no se distinguen de forma adecuada. Además, hay algunos rompecabezas que pecan de difíciles al no estar respaldados por procesos lógicos. No obstante, éstos son minoría y no deberían entorpecerte demasiado la partida. Pese a todo, Syberia 2 es un juego que merece la pena jugar.

Just like the first Syberia game, the graphics and sound have aged fairly well, and the story is nice. The dialogs and voice acting are a bit mixed.
The less than good news are the illogical puzzles and the huge amount of walking back and forth between the same places, presumably these are there to make the game last longer.
The really bad, even for the time, is the interface itself, including navigation around locations, interacting with objects, the dialog interactions with npc's, and how events and story progression are scripted.
Often you know what to do and where, but just not how to make the game do it. The character also moves pretty slowly, even when running. For me, this really hampered the atmosphere of the game.

Sadly, you are best of experiencing Syberia 1 & 2 as a longplay video rather than actually playing it.

ну что же. 2 часть намного лучше. лучше локации и прорисовка. лучше и цельнее сюжет, за ним просто интереснее следить. головоломки разнообразнее, хоть и не отличаются особой сложностью. технически сделана лучше, без вылетов обошлось, да и играть комфортнее. из недостатков назову отсутствие русификации, некоторые дебильные персонажи, не понятно для чего придуманные. упоротый священник или бандит, который и не бандит какой-то. нелепый дурачок, которого заклевали пингвины. хотел расписать его просеры в плане по обогащению, но лень :-) скажу только, что всё предельно тупо. добавление мистицизма. с его появлением история смотрится уже не так адекватно что ли. ну и отсутствие автосохранений. попробуй только забудь сохраниться и выйти из игры... и будешь заново все проходить.
в общем стало лучше, стало веселее. можно предложить поиграть.

If you played the first game and didn't like it, then you probably won't like this game either, since it's so close to the previous game.
So if you aren't a fan of point & clicks or puzzle games, then look elsewhere.

However, I enjoyed this game a lot, and I think it's great.
Syberia 1&2 are basically meant to be played back to back, since each game is one half of a whole story. And the first game ends on a cliffhanger that the second game immediately starts on.
The gameplay, menu, and characters are essentially identical to the first game.
The graphics are slightly improved, and look great for the era.
The pre-rendered backgrounds are just amazing, and hold up really well after all these years.
Watching the screen fill with more snow and ice as you move closer to Syberia is just gorgeous.

Perhaps it's not quite as iconic as the first game, but I actually think I enjoyed this one slightly more.
But, I found it to be quite harder than the first game. The puzzles are quite a bit more confusing, and not as well orchestrated. Some items you can pick up are super obvious, whereas others get completely lost in the background. So I pulled up a guide through parts of this game to get past areas I struggled a little with.

Controversial Opinion:
For many people Syberia 3 is considered awful...
The nice part about Syberia 2, is that the ending is open-ended!
Kate's "next chapter" is really up to your own interpretation to the series.
It's somewhat like Terminator 2: there's more films in the series, but in my own headcanon, it ends after the second movie. And that's the way Syberia 2 is for me personally.
You don't have to continue the series after this game, unless you're morbidly curious.
The ending is very sweet, and perfectly concludes Kate Walker's story.

Игра берет всё, что было хорошо в оригинале, добавляя новые локации. Это тот редкий случай, когда сиквел не пытается переизобрести колесо, а фокусируется на завершении истории, углубляя знакомых персонажей. Геймплей остался классическим point-and-click.
Единственный минус это то, что некоторые головоломки могут показаться излишне запутанными, а так хорошее продолжение.

As much as I love the series, I wouldn't recommend playing it. I'd stick with with the first part, unless it gets a remake. The to-do list in the first part's remake took away a lot of the headaches (though not completely).

Coming back to it now isn’t about proving I can beat it again — it’s about revisiting a game that stayed with me despite its frustrations.

Replaying Syberia II today, I fully understand why so many players struggle with it. Progress is slow, puzzles are often unclear, and much of the difficulty comes from observation rather than logic. You often feel lost, not because you are bad at games, but because the game refuses to guide you.

As someone who has never been good at puzzle games, this can be exhausting — but it is also exactly what defines Syberia II.

What Syberia II does exceptionally well is atmosphere. The pacing, the silence, the snow, the machinery, and the small cosmetic details — like snow falling from rooftops — create a mood very few games manage.

Beautiful game awash with the most stereotypically arbitrary Adventure Game Puzzles imaginable. I appreciate a more meditative story, albeit a pulpy one, but the work one puts in to uncover it isn't worth the effort should you hit a road block. If you're a die-hard fan of the genre you've probably dealt with worse, so it would be very worth your while and may rate quite highly for you. For me, it's just fine.

Ho sempre considerato i mammut come semplici creature preistoriche: lontane, ingombranti e diciamolo, anche “poco fighi”.
Poi è arrivato Syberia 2 e già il suo predecessore aveva ribaltato completamente la mia percezione di questi esseri. Grazie al modo in cui il gioco li racconta, questi giganteschi elefanti della preistoria diventano improvvisamente creature delicate, quasi poetiche. Non sono più solo animali estinti, ma simboli di un sogno, di un’ossessione gentile, di un mondo perduto che continua a vivere nella mente e nel cuore dei personaggi.
Il gioco riesce a trasformare i mammut in figure tenere, affascinanti e profondamente evocative. È impossibile non affezionarsi: ogni dettaglio, ogni racconto, ogni visione contribuisce a costruire un legame emotivo sorprendente. Syberia 2 ti porta a guardare questi colossi con occhi nuovi.
Ad aumentare l'immersività di un semplice punta e clicca del 2004, inoltre, è il doppiaggio, non dei filmati ma del gioco, già nel primo Syberia era sorprendentemente curato, interpretazioni sentite e un’attenzione al dettaglio che oggi darebbe filo da torcere a produzioni molto più recenti.
E poi c’è Kate Walker. Carismatica, intelligente, determinata… e sì, anche incredibilmente affascinante. Tras la buena experiencia que supuso la primera entrega, Syberia 2 se siente como una secuela que, aunque necesaria para cerrar la trama, no logra mantener el mismo nivel de ingenio ni de atmósfera. La transición de Kate Walker de abogada urbana a aventurera parece haber perdido por el camino esa melancolía única que hacía que cada escenario del juego anterior fuera inolvidable. En esta ocasión, los entornos se sienten algo más vacíos y menos inspirados, sustituyendo el misterio de la Europa profunda por parajes nevados y desolados en su mayoría que le quita peso.

Pero el mayor problema reside en el diseño de los puzles. Mientras que en el título original los desafíos en su mayoría resultaban lógicos y gratificantes, aquí nos encontramos con situaciones mucho más rebuscadas y poco intuitivas. También es frecuente verse atascado no por la dificultad del reto en sí, sino por una exploración diseñada para obligarte a dar vueltas innecesarias por escenarios que ya no tienen nada que ofrecer. Esto rompe el ritmo de la historia, haciendo que la urgencia del viaje de Hans que comenzamos en la primera parte se diluya entre recados mundanos y tareas de relleno.

Además, los nuevos personajes secundarios carecen del carisma y la profundidad de los que conocimos en el anterior juego. se salva Oscar, pero es un personaje que nos acompaña del anterior juego. Los antagonistas se sienten planos y sus motivaciones son superficiales y poco desarrolladas, sirviendo más como obstáculos artificiales para alargar la duración del juego. Aunque visualmente conserva parte del encanto y la banda sonora sigue siendo correcta, la sensación general es la de un producto que estira demasiado un concepto que quizás habría funcionado mejor de forma más compacta.

Es una lástima que el cierre de la historia planteada con buen pie en la anterior entrega se convierta en un ejercicio de paciencia. Si disfrutaste del primero como yo, probablemente querrás ver el final y aguantarás todos estos defectos, pero tampoco sería raro que, como yo, tardes un año en completarlo porque no te enganchará e irás dándole en ratos muertos por ir quitándotelo de delante.

Gra mega wciągająca. Pobudza wyobraźnie i zmusza do myślenia. Czasem trzeba się nabiegać, ale warto by poznać dalszy los gry. :)

Syberia II - волшебный сиквел, который не просто продолжает историю оригинала, а доводит её до эмоционального и логического финала. Игра стала более "холодной", вместо уютных европейских городков - суровые заснеженные просторы России, монастыри и арктическая тундра. Графика для своего времени (и даже сейчас, благодаря стилю Бенуа Сокаля) выглядит как ожившие картины. Если первая игра была о поиске себя, то вторая - о верности мечте. Финальная сцена игры очень сильная и красивая. Отдельно хотелось бы выделить музыку в игре, она прекрасна. В общем, Syberia II потрясающая игра, которая, по сути, не имеет аналогов в своем жанре из-за уникального стиля клокпанка и эстетики Советского Союза.

Don't waste your money!!!! Not worth the headache to get it to run. Don't bother if you have a newer system/hardware (still on Win 10, FU Microsoft). I played this for a short time (29 minutes) on my old Win 10 rig from 2021, it ran fine, a year later I built a new rig. I just reinstalled it, got a popup saying it needs DirectPlay, installed it, selected New Game, it came up and then crashed, I deselected DirectPlay, verified files and it launched in a tiny window with no option for full screen, I ran Compatibly Mode ... none of the several options worked and repeatedly got "error 5" each time ... for such a simple game it's just not worth the headache!!

This games takes off from where Syberia (the first game) ends. It's a direct continuation, and you need to play the first or this will make zero sense to you, and more when you discover Benoit Sokal had planned to make a single game with the whole story, but Miacroids considered it was too long for a single game and that they would make two games instead. It was 2002, lenght was different back then. Silent Hill 2 was 3-5 hours long, and that was consideredn average. These are 10 hour long games we're taalking about!

Anyway, it's great. Play it.

Меланхоличное путешествие по заснеженным локациям в компании робота и не здорового старика, которого постоянно приходиться спасать. Диологи не затейливые, даже инфантильные, головки не сбалансированы, мало где есть какие-то подсказки (отдельный котел для того, кто придумывал головомку со свечей). Пиксельхантинг и бесконечный бектрекинг - компромиссы тех лет.

The continuity of Syberia I. Personally, I prefer the 1st to this one, because lots of the puzzle in this entry feel like trial error, not to mention the infamous softlock bug in the [spoiler]monastery with the chapel window and the mammouth glass[/spoiler].

Nonetheless, Syberia 2 remains a classic of its time.

## ✍️ Critique personnelle

Après avoir beaucoup apprécié le remaster du premier opus, j’étais impatient de découvrir *Syberia II*.
J’avais quelques craintes liées à son âge (2004), notamment sur les graphismes et les mécaniques, mais l’ensemble reste étonnamment supportable.
L’aventure continue de proposer une histoire intéressante et des personnages toujours aussi marquants, même si le rythme est parfois moins maîtrisé que dans le premier.

Malgré ses défauts et un rythme parfois inégal, l’histoire reste suffisamment prenante pour donner envie de poursuivre l’aventure.
De notre côté, le verdict est clair : **on ira terminer Syberia 3 et 4 prochainement**.

Bom jogo, senti que o início meio lento e que talvez o jogo não se desenvolveria muito, mas o final me impressionou. Em relações técnicas eu não senti muita melhora, apesar de ter gostado de ser permitido conversar repetidamente com os personagens afim de não esquecer da sua missão. Sobre os puzzles achei alguns bem interessantes e outros levemente frustrantes, onde caso eu não tivesse apresentando bastante atenção ao jogo. No geral foi um jogo que apesar de leves mudanças, foi superior ao primeiro.

It is a ok game but only if played with a guide just to experience the nice levels, art style and somewhat peculiar story.

Otherwise the weird puzzle logic would make you furious, they are really not the yellow from the egg. In order to progress you have to talk to certain characters multiple times as I understood, which requires you to walk back and forth long distances which becomes tiresome quickly despite the beautiful scenery.

How fitting that the main character's name is Kate [i] Walker [/i] ...

Picking up from where the original left off, Syberia 2 raises the adventurous spirit of the original game as you travel across the icy hinterland through incredible pre-rendered backgrounds, puzzles requiring the most lateral of thinking, and some truly unique characters.

Очень хотелось повторить слово в слово комплименты из [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/pu6yc/recommended/46500/]отзыва[/url] к первой части. Но не получается. Безусловно, вторую часть я люблю той же нежной любовью. Однако я ловил себя на том, что поджимаю губы от неудовольствия. И вот что мне есть сказать по поводу игры.

[h3]О сюжете[/h3]

Вот тут я кряхтел больше всего. Дело не в том, что я не верю в авантюру Кейт Уолкер. В конце концов, Syberia во многом сказка. Я недоволен подачей. Если в первой части мы встречали множество удивительных людей и вели с ними долгие беседы, то здесь людей становится чем дальше, тем меньше, а разговоры с ними становятся заметно короче. Безусловно, так и должно быть. Там, куда направляются Кейт и Ганс, людей мало. Но на замену этим разговорам ничего не приходит. Если локации раньше запоминались и по персонажам их населяющим, и по загадкам, то теперь остались только загадки.

Связь с домом также оказывается разорвана. Телефоны подруги и парня пропадают из телефона, говорить с мамой не о чем. Зато есть регулярные вставки с катсценами из офиса, где начальник разговаривает по телефону с сыщиком, идущим по следу Кейт, чтобы вернуть её домой. В первой части это была связующая с домом ниточка, которая обрывалась только в самом конце. Здесь же нью-йоркская линия стала тупиковой ветвью. Сыщик никогда не догонит Кейт, никакой угрозы в нём не чувствуется. Эта сюжетная линия идёт в никуда и заканчивается ничем.

Зато появились явные антагонисты, парочка русских охотников за мамонтовой костью. Парочка комичных негодяев, как, например, Марв и Гарри из "Один дома", больше похожих на великовозрастных заигравшихся детей. Они и не пугают, и не злят. Скорее, вызывают умиление. А сцена расправы над мелким уморительна. Впрочем и трогательные сцены никуда не делись. Лошадки по-прежнему захватывают дух, а прощание с Оскаром бьёт в самое сердце. [spoiler]Это ещё и спойлер-каламбур без контекста.[/spoiler]

Раз уж Кейт попадает в столь далёкий и чуждый себе мир, хотелось бы узнать о нём больше. А удаётся познакомиться только с Романовском и деревней юколов. В тайге же ничего интересного для нас нет. И я скажу так: лучше проходить вторую часть сразу же после завершения первой. В таком случае удастся почувствовать контраст и динамику, ощущения будут лучше. Города — тайга, клок-панк — шаманские обряды, знакомая цивилизация — таинственная глушь.

[h3]Юмор[/h3]

Вот тут всё замечательно. Смешных аттракционов здесь хватает. Как в классическом Индиане Джонсе. Покатушки в гробе и погоня с применением катапульты вызывают детский восторг. Отдельно вспомню очень повеселившую сцену, когда Кейт отмахивается от угрожающего ей расправой злодея, достаёт телефон и звонит Оскару с просьбой о помощи. Нелогично? Да. Смешно? Как в мультике с Багзом Банни.

[h3]Что там с загадками?[/h3]

Смешанные чувства. Как будто бы стало больше пиксельхантинга. Причём в не лучшем своём проявлении. Кейт комментирует фреску "смахнуть бы пыль времён". Это намёк. Вот только пыли на фреске нет. Будь добр, оближи весь экран курсором. Или колодец в деревне юколов. Действие очевидное, но даже понимая, что нужно делать, ты просто-напросто не видишь интерактивный крючок. Вооружайся мышкой, рыскай. Что уж говорить о менее очевидных вещах, когда нужный тебе предмет лежит в куче фоновых камней, и абсолютно ничто в игре не намекает тебе ни на интерактивность этих камней, ни на возможность что-то в них обнаружить.

И всё же логичные загадки никуда не делись. А если вы будете внимательны, то ответ к некоторым загадкам вы будете знать заранее. Чем разбудить спящего юки? Стоило лишь внимательно прочитать записки из самого начала игры. Как спровадить Рудольфа на фабрику? Ганс в одном из разговоров упоминал время, когда тот уходит на работу. Всегда можно сбегать к Анне и спросить у неё, но если вы не пропустили слова Ганса мимо ушей, то не придётся.

К слову, некоторые важные вещи никто не рассказывает в лоб. Зато узнать об истинной роли машиниста, а также о том, почему его боятся юколы, можно гораздо раньше, чем это раскроется в сюжете.

[h3]Слова печали[/h3]

Вторая часть заметно слабее первой. Увы, это проходной квест. Он не утратил своей внешней красоты, но потерял уникальный шарм. Истории отдельных людей канули в Лету — самое ценное, что было в первой части! — на замену им пришла вечно спешащая Кейт. Хитроумные механизмы пропали, теперь вместо них типичные загадки, как в клонах Myst. И как будто хочется сказать ещё какие-то слова, утешиться, но ничего на ум не приходит. И мне очень, очень жаль.

Вы привязались в первой части к героям? Тогда оставьте их там, где они были. Оборвите всё на высокой ноте. Или дойдите до конца, чтобы увидеть зенит славы оригинальной Syberia, и её закат. Утрите слёзинку, прощаясь с Гансом — история завершена.

Хорошая игра. Временами бывают места где понятно, что делать и было одно место где не смог найти нужный предмет. Знал, что нужно по логике, но найти не смог, нужные предметы слились с фоном(предметы в разных локациях). Ну а так интересный сюжет. Загадки в основном понятные и хорошо сочетаются с сюжетом. По сравнению с первой частью рисовка стала лучше.

It's not a bad game. But it's not the deep Syberia I fell in love with.
This thing is so shallow..

Мне нравится квесты и игра оправдала свои ожидания: довольно неплохой сюжет и местами интересные головоломки.
Если устал от масштабных игр и хочется вечерок провести за простой игрушкой - попробуй, оно того стоит

Всё также рекомендую) Хорошее продолжение отличной первой части!

Почему "хорошо", а не "отлично"? Просто на мой субъективный взгляд вторая половина игры затянута, а начиная с локации деревня <спойлеров> в головоломках логика напрочь "вышла из чата" по сравнению с первой половиной игры, где всё было более-менее понятно и логично.
Но всё равно, пока играешь, за историей следить интересно и хочется узнать чем всё закончится.

P.S: В принципе сюжет второй части ставит точку в этой истории и зачем нужны 3 и 4 части лично мне пока не понятно. В 3 и 4 части я пока не играл и может я ошибаюсь насчёт них. Посмотрим. Свои дальнейшие впечатления уже опишу в отзывах под следующими частями))
