Вероятно, для большинства игроков «Syberia» остаётся не более чем якорем для детских воспоминаний. Игре уже 24 года, а ведь кто‑то играл в неё с первых дней выхода! Глядя на игру через призму этих лет, нельзя не заметить, что сюжет в ней был не самый затейливый, персонажи — не самые проработанные, а озвучка… Но какое теперь до этого дело, когда за игрой стоит что‑то в сотни раз более важное.

When I first played this game as a little kid, I was captivated by its visuals and atmosphere, though back then I could only solve the more complex puzzles by pure chance.
Now that I've played it again as an adult and finally completed it, I can honestly say this game is worth checking out—even if you're not usually a fan of Point & Click Adventure games (and for those who are, this is easily one of the finest examples of the genre). It features an intriguing story and genuinely memorable characters. The puzzles are cleverly designed, and even if you get stuck on a few, your curiosity about what happens next will keep you motivated to push through.
Revisiting the game so many years after its release, my childhood impressions still held up. Sure, the graphics aren't quite as stunning as I remembered—standards have risen quickly over time—but the game still feels unique, interesting, and beautiful despite its age. It also brings back wonderful memories.
Даже сейчас игра отлично играется и не имеет технических проблем. Отличная визуализация и звуковое оформление позволяет проникнуться немного грустной историей. Действие игры кстати происходит в одной вселенной с Амерзон упоминания встречаются в библиотеке. И да оригинал лучше ремастера.

Наконец-то я добрался до этого шедевра, в свое время не играл в него. Но сейчас оценил по полной программе :) Великолепный, незаезженный сюжет, шикарное музыкальное сопровождение, полностью озвученные диалоги, превосходно переданная атмосфера, аж до мурашек. Много головоломок, причем головоломок, которые проходились не с первого раза и надо было подумать, но ими игра не перенасыщена, что не может не радовать, можно полностью погрузиться в сюжет. Сей шедевр однозначно рекомендую к прохождению!

Хочется отметить головокружительный визуал. Игра сохранилась даже лучше, чем я ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Второе - великолепное музыкальное сопровождение.
Третье - сюжет. Явно с заделом на следующие части, хочется, конечно, узнать, что там дальше, но пока поинт-энд-кликов с меня хватит.
Интересно, погружает в атмосферу, но...кажется немного недостаточным что-ли. Без спойлеров - ожидала чего-то помасштабнее, позагадочнее, а Кейт становится более "механической" к концу игры, хотя характер при этом стал твёрже. Хотелось бы поставить точку в её отношениях с телефонными контактами. Надеюсь, вторая часть это сделает.
В 2026 году поддушивают анимации и в целом механика(специфика жанра, что поделать).
Чувствуется, что в игру была вложена душа, нечто неописуемое и неосязаемое. Надо играть самому, а не читать отзывы, собственно. Рекомендую к ознакомлению! плюс вайб #молодежно

TLDR: An important step in the evolution of the adventure genre - if you are a fan of these type of games at all, it is recommended.
Although today we are in a midst of a general revival of the adventure genre (what with Telltale games success and even the rise of visual novels), there was a time when the genre was all but written off. Syberia came out in 2002 - a period in which the adventure genre had been dominated by Myst - and similar clones - that presented a lot of puzzles, but little in the way of narrative. Syberia was the rare game that had it's share of puzzles, but also had a story to go along with it. Though the graphics may no longer look ground-breakings, the voice-acting is a bit stiff and the characters a bit weak - it still represents an important step in the genre and stands the test of time as an exemplary example of what an adventure game can achieve.
Presentation: By today's standards, Syberia is rough. But by 2002 standards, it looks pretty amazing. The cut-scenes (the few there are) especially hold up well. The game itself (at least on Steam) was a bit of a mess. While you could make it full screen - if you accidentally went too far off the edge (say, while trying to point to where you wanted to walk) it would close out. It only minimized the game, but re-opening it would often present you with terrible glitches - black screen, pieces of faces missing or the opposite - massively elongated heads that took up the entire screen. I don't know if that was the game or Steam - but it was super annoying.
Likewise, the voice acting (compared to what you find today) was also lacking. Stiff, unemotional and almost robotronic - I was thoroughly unimpressed. The music was a bit better - it fit the mood for the most part. One thing the game does a good job of is giving you a nice mix of settings - from the gloomy clockwork town you start in, to a tropical university to to an industrial factory to a windswept desert resort - at least the game is excellent at giving you memorable locations. Each area has a distinct feel to it. There are puzzles, but unlike the Myst-style games they aren't obtuse nor do they punish you in crazy ways.
Story: Where Syberia stands out is in its story. You play a lawyer with the seemingly simple task of handing over a aging (but highly-regarded) clockwork factory to a major toy company. But just as you arrive you learn the sole owner has just died and, in trying to track down paperwork, find out that she may not have been the sole heir as her brother - long thought dead - is actually still alive. Thus you begin a journey that takes you across the globe - in a story that involves a clockwork train, a strange university, a mad factory owner obsessed with an opera singer and a mechanical savant obsessed with mammoths. It sounds crazy, but the story is surprisingly good - you learn the history of the family, the reason the brother was written off by his family, his influence on his own journey and even a little about your own life through phone calls between your mother, boyfriend and best friend.
As I said, the game takes you through many different areas - and, while the characters may not be that deep - some are memorable. You have the clockwork train engineer who is eager to do his job - but (much like C3PO) fussy to the point of annoyance as he must abide by the rules and never wants to go out (should he rust or whatnot). You have the crazy factory owner who has become obsessed with an opera singer, a drunken cosmonaut who just wants to get into space and the fading opera star who once went to a resort to coalesce and found herself a permanent resident. Things are kept interesting, that is for sure.
Gameplay: Syberia is a standard point-and-click adventure. You interact with a set number of items - can pick some up, combine them to solve puzzles, read a few things here and there, talk with various people - a pretty typical setup for this kind of game. If you've ever played this kind of game before, it will be very familiar.
Replayability: Unless you want to relive the story again, the game doesn't have any branching paths so it's pretty much a one-and-done kind of game.

god I tried giving this a chance. Your magical journey of destiny starts by taking your luggage into a hotel. Looking for your room, picking up your luggage again, but NOW it's TOO heavy, so you need to ask around for help and pixel hunt. Now you need to deal with your purchase of a factory on the behalf of a company that's now run into a slight issue with the current owner having passed away, so now you need to call the contacts in your phone, look for the next proprietor in the list of subsidiaries for the company to fax them your office's info to sort out the ownership dispute.
I don't think a less whimsical premise could exist if I tried to write one like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

A 24 anni di distanza, rimane ancora un godibilissimo gioco dalle bellissime ambientazioni steampunk condite con un tocco di Art nouveau. Se siete amanti dei giochi frenetici, qui potreste accusare il peso del " punta e clicca". I puzzle si alternano per tutto il gioco ed alcuni richiedono una certa attenzione altrimenti vi ritroverete ad andare avanti e indietro per la mappa, senza capire cosa fare per sbloccarli. Trama godibile ( tranne il bug sul finale del gioco che mi ha imposto di ricaricare una partita precedentemente salvata, per fortuna. Salvate ogni volta che scendete dal treno !!) Ora voglio un automa della Manifattura Voralberg.

Мало квестов, много текста. Местами скучно, т.к движение персонажа по локации сделано очень медленно, возможно на это и расчет. Сюжет отличный, понравилась тематика с поездом. Для любителей квестов и новелл - рекомендую.
Совершенство форм и геймплея для любителей Point and click квестов. Атмосферное приключение с полным погружением. 10 звуковых валиков из 10.

Point & Click может быть вполне хорошей игрой. Сам был шокирован [спасибо StopGame за видео про ремастер 1-ой части].
Моё время прохождения ~ 14ч.
Игра работает «из коробки» поменяйте разрешение в Диджей Вооду 2 и наслаждайтесь, причем полная русская локализация входит в комплект (озвучка правда слабенькая, но это ДУБЛЯЖ).
По началу можно слегка потупить, однако, если все осматривать и чуть реже соотносить вещь из инвентаря с предметом в мире, то прям сложностей не должно возникнуть.
Героиня оформлена в 3D, собственно, как и остальные герои, все остальное 2D, выглядит стильно, но, увы, разрешение низковато (не отчаивайтесь, булочки героини слегка скрасят виды 😁).
Я не критик, особенно, если дело касается сюжета. Здесь он не замысловатый. Если я правильно использую слово, то нарратив тут на неплохом уровне, персонажи имеют души, а записки не наполнены бесполезной информацией. ДНЕВНИК АННЫ я так и не прочел, смотрел на ютубе 30минутную озвучку 😂 (36 страниц, а вы, как хотели).
•Количество подглядываний чужого прохождения- «4+» :
- Не смог разобраться, как нарисовать мамонта Момо. (Был невнимателен);
- Не мог найти коды для шлюзов. (Снова был невнимателен, решение опять таки было под носом, надо было лишь подвинуть мышь и отличить щупальце от лупы);
_ Не смог найти лазейку к Елене Романской. В решении есть логика, но самому догадаться не так просто, учитывая, что нужно помнить чужое ФИО, пускай оно не так давно упоминалось, однако не хватило подсказке, которая бы была кстати;
- Как стать Барменом? 😂
Тут и моя невнимательность опять же сыграла, однако же и смекалку требовалось проявить. Трижды глядел в гайд, ну, представьте 😅
Найти нужные продукты в баре, заметить описание меда и подготовить нужную консистенцию, а еще ноты идут в обратном порядке 🥲
Вывод: Вы ищите нарратив или хотите расшевелить слегка хотя бы одну извилину - Сибирь с Кейт Уолкер вам подойдет 😉.
Медетативная и атмосферный квест
Отлично сохранившийся Point and Click или по простому Квест.
Это меланхоличная музыка так согревает душу, особенно, не знаю как правильно сказать, Тема Комсомольска, мелодия после продвижения игры, выдаёт такой восторг.
Из-за озвучки, диалоги очень интересно слушать, я любил прослушивать все варианты диалога. Такое чувство, что слушаешь аудиокнигу.
Не видел смысла делать на эту игру ремастер, так как она и так хорошо выглядит и сейчас.
Главный момент игры для меня, когда мне в Валадилене осталось дойти до поезда и на чуть чуть пути и у меня вылетает игра, а я сохранялся сто лет назад.
Всем советаю поиграть любителям или нет поиграть в это.
Awful. I heard about how great the storyline was and how beautiful the game was but I very quickly stopped caring about that when every puzzle required me to pointlessly run through 25 screens and I needed to pixel hunt in every single location. I have no idea why this game has such good reviews. I've just given up at what must be the 8th time the train guy has told me I haven't done all the right things yet. Being a 2002 game is not an excuse. There were loads of games by 2002 whose designers understood that simply making things take longer doesn't add any challenge, only tedium and irritation. It's like the designers deliberately tried to make it as annoying as possible.

A gyönyörű, kézzel rajzolt grafika, a melankolikus zene és Kate Walker kalandja Oroszország rejtélyes vidékein simán elvisz 13 órára. Ajánlom mindenkinek, aki szereti a klasszikus point-and-click kalandjátékokat vagy egy kis retro-feelinget keres.

Lately remastered from what i hear. If you thinking about getting this game maybe consider getting the remastered one. This is 4:3 only, fixed res @ 640X480 and will need 3rd party stuff to work properly in modern computers. The remastered version won't need any of that :)

Ein wunderbares Spiel mit einer fesselnden Story, abwechslungsreichen Schauplätzen, schlüssigen Rätseln und ganz viel Charme. Der liebevolle Zeichenstil kann sich auch heute durchaus noch sehen lassen.
Störend ist manchmal das viele hin-und herlaufen, besonders mit den Treppen, dessen Animation leider nicht übersprungen werden kann.
Bei mir ist es gelegentlich eingefroren, also immer schön an regelmäßiges speichern denken!

Buena historia, buenos gráficos para la época, los escenarios y paisajes están muy bien logrados con una linda estética, la movilidad y dinámica son tediosas, ya que se hace muy lento tener que caminar mil veces por los mismos escenarios ida y vuelta para las misiones, los acertijos son en general muy básicos y demasiado complejos algunos.

Очень крутая игра, погружает полностью в сюжет (единственное - механика довольно устаревшая, и переходить от локации к локации очень долго, а переходить приходится много и часто). В остальном, замечательная игра. Планирую пройти все части коллекции

It's incredible achievement of that time, I honestly was amazed seeing game of such age and pretty looking :D Story is great, and the playing process feels overall good. Can be confusing sometimes, and you need some workarounds to make the saves work but if you manage that, you won't come back :)

это отрицательный отзыв, но без негатива. квест на один раз. головоломок мало, для растягивания сюжета предметы для них разбрасывают максимально далеко по карте. много загрузочных экранов. неужто в 2002 компы не вывозили такую простую игру? лестницы которые почему то не сделали пропускаемыми и заставляют игрока смотреть как гг тормозит перед каждой и загружает скрипт подъема/спуска. лор своеобразный и если начинаешь задумываться, шизой попахивает. даже сейчас глючит. совет от меня, сохраняйтесь чаще. может заглючить и будете проходить с последней загрузки. а если она была 3 часа назад? то всё заново :-)
почему без негатива? ну делаю скидку на возраст, всё таки игре 24 года. возможна в момент выхода она была прорывной в своём жанре и просто мне не понять этого. поэтому играл с буддийским спокойствием и оцениваю безэмоционально. и всё же если вам интересен такой жанр игр, я рекомендую пройти хотя бы разок. это не лютая дичь, у неё есть достоинтсва, она красивая и возможно вам она понравится.

Arte em forma de jogo.
Pra quem gosta de jogos com boa narrativa, ambientação ou se sentir em um filme de infância, esse é o jogo perfeito.
Me lembro perfeitamente de jogar isso no PlayStation 2 e agora zerar no PC novamente, especialmente em português, me trás sensações tão boas, de bons tempos, dias mais simples. Não pense muito antes de comprar, aproveite cada segundo do jogo, é inesquecível.

It worked at first then, It runs like an old film, flickering fast and runs very slow, can't play it any longer.
I was recommended this game when I was looking for a game similar to The Longest Journey, but sadly it didn't click for me. I think I understand why people love the game though; the story was nice enough to make me keep playing until the end. But that was in spite of the gameplay. I found it incredibly tedious. So much running back and forth, such annoying NPCs. It's just not the type of game for me.

У игры редкая атмосфера: европейская меланхолия, стимпанковая эстетика автоматонов, странные и запоминающиеся персонажи и музыка, которая делает даже простую прогулку по локации частью приключения. Важно понимать, что первая и вторая части это [b]одна цельная история[/b], разделённая на две игры, и воспринимать их лучше именно как единое путешествие.
Головоломки в целом логичные и хорошо вплетены в мир, поэтому приятно не просто кликать, а действительно разбираться, как устроены механизмы и что от тебя хотят. История Кейт тоже цепляет: она начинает как человек по расписанию, а заканчивает совсем другим человеком, решившимся на приключение и отказавшимся от старой жизни.
Да, игра медленная, много беготни туда сюда, и по современным меркам темп может раздражать. Но если дать ей шанс, Syberia легко превращается в уютный классический квест, который хочется пройти не ради галочки, а ради дороги и того самого чувства приключения.

As someone who is fairly nonplussed by most point-and-click games, I was pleasantly surprised by Syberia. I greatly appreciate the game's focus on characters and their relationships, as well as the fantastical Europe of the game world. Apart from a couple of small moments ([spoiler]come on, I KNOW what ebony looks like, and it's not that color[/spoiler]), the game is largely free of moon-logic and doesn't require use of a guide (although you may want to take note when you find something that looks like it could be a clue). My only complaint is that you play as Kate Walker, and not as a Kate Runner; You're going to spend a lot of time watching Kate slowly walk over to where you had clicked (or, arguably worse, slowly jog over and then take a second to put the brakes on before returning control to the player). Overall a pleasant experience, full of that turn-of-the-millennium point-and-click game charm and with an above-average focus on storytelling and characters. Good for 10-15 hours of adventure.
Love the world, story and soundtrack.

Eu não sou fã de apontar e clicar mas eu comprei esse jogo por algum motivo ha muito tempo e recentemente o vi na biblioteca entao fui jogar. Como eu imagino que seja em point and clicks antigos, as coisas não fazem muito sentido quanto ao item que você precisa encontrar e onde usá-lo, depois de algumas horas eu despiroquei e segui jogando com o guia aberto, muito mais fácil, certas coisas são quase impossiveis de descobrir por não fazerem o menor sentido. Fora isso, o jogo tem uma ambientação legal e a história é interessante tbm, agora vou jogar o Syberia 2 com outro guia do lado. Boa noite :D
I know my taste in video games is super niche and not something that everyone is on board with. But boy, this game really nails everything I love. I love point and click adventures (90's to 2000's in particular), I love puzzle solving that is based in the reality of the environment, and I love beautiful world building and visual sets. Check, check, check.
Cons: There is a tad bit of clunk factor with navigation and dialogue, but not bad. The worst part of navigation is the time it takes to walk back and forth. It can also be hard to know what to do to move the story along. However, I can't think of any instances off the top of my head where it couldn't be figured out by taking a break and thinking about it for a while. And that's really the appeal of a puzzle game!
Pros: I felt like I was really on a whimsical adventure. I couldn't wait to see what was around the next corner. And the world is so gorgeous and ambient, I felt like I was a detective in a fairy tale. How can you beat that? Plus the story was super fun and intriguing, with a character arc to boot.
TL;DR, if you love early-2000s point-and-click puzzle-solving adventures in general, this is a fantastical, whimsical, and fairly achievable entry. It's the kind of game you can get lost in because you genuinely want to know what happens next and you love being in the world. I loved every minute of this game. Some of the critiques here are super valid, but it is an experience every point-and-click adventurer should have.

This is a VERY slow-paced game, and I think most people would find it extremely boring in the modern age. There's basically no action, no enemies, no monsters. You cannot die.

This is an absolutely beautiful game
Serene, calm, tranquil.
It perfectly embodies feelings of old age, melancholy, and loneliness.
The art direction of this game is just stellar - really underrated.
The architecture is massive! A mixture of traditionalism, brutalism, and steampunk.
It has a solid story, characters, and overall tone & atmosphere.
After nearly 25 years it's still an amazing looking game.
It's a world that feels absolutely massive, and you want to see more of it.

The walk cycles are VERY slow, and there's a lot of areas you cannot initially enter.
Fortunately, if you double click on something Kate walks faster... but still pretty slow.
Also, there's A LOT of back-tracking in this game... which can get really tiresome.
Since it's point & click you have to be very aware of your surroundings, and make sure you collect all the items.
And some items I totally missed because I just didn't notice them.
The ending of the game kinda drags, but it's very sweet.
Overview
Syberia is one of those games that just sticks with you. It's not about fast reflexes or blowing things up; it's about the vibe. Honestly, it's a bit of a trip. Released back in 2002, it looks like a painting come to life. You play as Kate Walker, a lawyer from New York who thinks she's just there to sign some papers, but ends up chasing a crazy old man named Hans Voralberg across Europe just to find some mammoths. It sounds weird, but it totally works.
Story & Atmosphere
The story starts simple enough. Kate just needs to buy this automaton factory in Valadilène. But then she finds out the owner just died and her heir, Hans, is actually alive and somewhere in the middle of nowhere. So, instead of going home, she hops on this wind-up train (yes, you have to wind it up) and follows him.
What really got me was the feel of the game. It's sad, but in a good way. Like, everything feels lonely and forgotten. You go to these massive, empty places like the Barrockstadt University or the creepy industrial complex in Komkolzgrad, and you're basically the only normal person there. The music? Incredible. It swells up just when you need it to and makes everything feel so emotional.
Kate's journey is pretty cool too. She starts off as this uptight lawyer, but by the end, she's completely done with her old life. And honestly, looking at the people she left behind (her mom, her cheating fiancé Dan, and her "best friend" Olivia), I don't blame her for dipping on them.
Gameplay
Okay, so the gameplay is your standard point-and-click stuff. You find items, talk to people, and solve puzzles. Most of the puzzles make sense—fixing detailed machines, mixing drinks, that kind of thing. It rarely feels random.
But man, is it slow. Like, really slow. Kate jogs like she's underwater sometimes, and there's a LOT of running back and forth. The camera angles are fixed, which looks pretty but can be annoying when you just want to walk down a hall. And don't get me started on the stair climbing animations. You really have to have patience for this one.
Verdict
Syberia is one of those games that leaves a mark on you long after you're done. It's a total masterpiece when it comes to atmosphere. Even though the gameplay shows its age—yeah, the controls are clunky and there's a ton of backtracking—the world is just so dreamlike and beautiful that I didn't even care half the time.
The characters are what really make it stick. Hans Voralberg is such a tragic, cool figure. The dude is a genius who refused to build weapons for the military and just wanted to find his mammoths. That's serious respect. And Professor Pons at the university? Loved him. He was actually passionate about his work, unlike the other stuffy old guys there.
But man, the villains (and "friends") are the worst, in a way that makes you love hating them. Serguei in Komkolzgrad is a literal psychopath. He put Helena Romanski in a cage like a bird! Who does that? And don't get me started on Kate's crew back home. Her mom is all drama, her fiancé Dan is a whiny cheater, and Olivia is a snake for hooking up with him. Watching Kate realize she didn't need any of them and just hopping on that train at the end felt so satisfying.
There are so many little details I loved, too. The Red Amerzone Cuckoos scaring the monks because they eat their wine grapes was hilarious. And fixing the blind Wall Captain's eyes with some Yangala-Cola so he realized his "enemy spy" was just a dead tree? Classic.
At the end of the day, Syberia isn't just a puzzle game. It's an experience about dropping everything to chase a dream, even a crazy one. If you can get past the old-school jank, it's absolutely worth it.

Al terminar este texto, apagaré por última vez la computadora que me acompañó por estos últimos años. Nunca he tenido idea de hardware, y desde chico mi papá me armaba unas compus con lo que habia.
Hace poco, conseguí mi primer trabajo y logré ahorrar la plata suficiente para poder armarme una nueva computadora, mucho mejor que la actual
Capaz sea algo tonto, pero para mi simboliza mucho todo esto.
Syberia es el último juego que terminé en esta computadora
No estoy acostumbrado a estos juegos de aventuras gráficas/point and click, y no se cómo tengo Syberia 1 y 2 en mi biblioteca, pero me llamó la atención un poco y decidí comenzarlo, a sabiendas que tengo nula experiencia con esta clase de juegos y que seguramente me costaría mucho
La verdad es que no fue asi, al inicio si me atoré un rato en Valadilene buscando el dibujo del mámut (excesivamente escondido) y el resto de los puzzles, dificultad más, dificultad menos, iban pasando sin problemas mientras me embobaba con los escenarios
El juego es precioso, me cansé de tomar capturas de tanto cinemáticas como de los lugares que se van explorando: Hasta a veces he tenido la sensación de lograr, de cierta forma, sentirme inmerso o sumergirme en esos mismos escenarios. De sentir como verdaderamente estás muy lejos de casa, en lugares casi inhóspitos y olvidados para la sociedad contemporánea (el juego transcurre en 2002 si no mal recuerdo)
Es un juego para estar tranquilo, tomandose una tacita de té mientras te dejas llevar por la gran cantidad de diálogos que hay con todos los personajes. Se siente como una película
Considero como un gran logro haberme pasado el juego en su totalidad sin haber usado guías ni ayudas externas EXCEPTO por el puzzle del Blue Helena que está diseñado con el culo además de que el tema de la partitura y la teoría musical te arruina la existencia.
Pequeña queja: La música a veces se triggerea muy fuerte en mitad de una conversación y puede ser medio molesto
Me gustó mucho el asunto de las llamadas telefónicas a lo largo de la aventura, te da esa sensación de que el mundo sigue rodando y hay toda una trama secundaria sucediendo del otro lado del mundo mientras que vos, Kate Walker, sigue buscando a Hans Voralberg...
Sin nada más que decir, apago esta computadora por última vez recomendando este juego que me encantó y me enamoró de lo bello que es.
