AZTECS ON THE PATAGONIA? "completely dismiss history" is more accurate than "rewrite"

That said:
-Good for starting children on some strategic thinking. Simple, to the point, requiring minimal observations skills. The graphics, the plot, the characters, are as silly as to not be rejected by children up to.... 10? And are easily enjoyed in "lets play together, son" mode.
-I am almost done with the viking campaign and i can see there are 4 more factions to play with (around 11 levels is just 18% of the capaign mode according to the save file), so you get a good bang for your buck
-while speaking of those 4 factions, i have NOW seen 3 of them and surprisingly (one would not expect it if judging by the simple graphics and plot) they all play VERY different. As a quick summary: Vikings = heavy hitting units, Aztecs = swarming and counter, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ = spell casting, unkown faction =?.
-Theres a multiplayers i havent checked out yet (more on that to come)
- with all the things you get and the facts that A- It does its juob and B- i got it dirt cheap, this game is a thumbs up on my book

Früher habe ich dieses Spiel geliebt. Als ich es nochmal probiert habe, habe ich es nur ein wenig gespielt gehabt. Es ist mittelgut optimiert für Steam und mir macht es keinen Spaß mehr, aber es hat mir mal gefallen und es gibt eine Zielgruppe dafür. Vielleicht eher Anfänger für Strategiespiele derart.

Nahh this is not what I expected. I knew this is a very minimalistic 2D strategy game, one of those tactic games where you take one side and the enemy is on the opposite side of the screen, and you just click to build and send your soldiers to attack the enemy camp.
I thought this is a casual game that can be used to rest between 2 serious games. The cute graphics often deceive buyers in the steam store.
The reality = this is a mobile phone game/port. It's evident by many things. One of them is: you don't even have key button mappings. You have to click with your mouse every time you want to buy a unit or use a skill/spell, which is too bad because you have to act fast.
You can just farm gold, research and buy units, towers and spells/skills, so you would think this is a rather simple and easy game. But it's not. Only in the first few levels it's like that. But then it becomes difficult and frustrating. The enemy starts with many units and starts early to send them to attack you. So you actually don't have anytime to think or play it like you want.
Basically in every level the enemy has a different setting in the map with different spells, units and landmarks. So it becomes a matter of discovering the right sequence/formula ( which unit and skill combination is perfect for this level?. So it's not a casual strategy game, it's more like a puzzle game. That mechanic is not entertaining to me. Especially because you can't group your soldiers, when you click to buy them, they automatically run to attack the enemy camp.
Looks and plays like many free flash games in the flash portals.

tower base defense rts mix idk how to describe this game, definitely one of the games from that era of indies i think aged the best. campaign is relatively short, there's an extra dlc if you want more, and the game isn't too expensive. not a bad value for your money for what it's worth, but could use a couple quality of life things like hotkeying items.

a decent way to kill an afternoon, but most people would probably rather play the sequel

5小时通关本体，全成就除了线上成就都完成了，部分成就的达成需要购买DLC。如果有人看到这个评测，想刷线上成就的可以加我好友。(这条评论没改就可以找我)
游戏是童年回忆，属于塔防类型，没有中文翻译，除了少数关卡外总体上不难，部分关卡难也可能是因为看不懂英文提醒导致一直过不去（比如中国阵营最后一关）。游戏分有三个阵营，维京、阿兹特克以及中国（DLC会多一个维京），三个阵营都有属于自己的兵种和技能，继而不同阵营有不同的玩法，个人认为三个阵营里面还是阿兹特克最强（滚石一出我还以为是减速带了）。同时三个国家也有自己的剧情，游戏的剧情是诙谐风格的。除了主线战役外，游戏还有四个挑战模式可以游玩（为达成成就滚石真是玩吐了），同时还有联机或跟AI对打，不过联机也别指望能匹配上人（其实不是完全匹配不上，我就匹配打了三把，虽然三把可能是同一个对手，原本还想着能拿10个联机成就的，结果可能第三把把对面打败后人跑掉了，之后就再也匹配不上了）。
看成就的话，部分成就还是有点挑战性的，但总归并不难获得，再不行还能从油管或steam社区查攻略。但是这里所讲的不难并不包括“King Of The Stone Age”，整个游戏中，这个成就无疑是最难、最恶心的成就，其要求在挑战关卡中使用滚石碾压100个敌对单位而不伤友军一人。本人玩游戏从未感觉过头晕，唯独这个确实让我玩到头晕，站起来都晕晕的感觉。制作者对这个成就感觉非常有恶趣味，在地图后面的兵种单位，友军和敌军几乎黏在一块，稍有不慎就会碰到，所以除了背板与看手感外，运气也是获得这个成就的重要因素。（这个该死的成就直接硬控我四个小时，搞不懂为何这个成就的达成率居然高达7.9，感叹还是受虐狂多）
总体上看，作为童年时让我记忆犹新的游戏，其中无疑还是有不少乐趣的，也算是为童年补票了。

中国战役（第三大关）的最后一关硬是没打过去，地图中间一半的地方就对面又有雪又有毒怎么打。

打了一个小时还卡在中路，直接退了。感觉难度设计有问题，不知道其它玩家这一关怎么打过去的，玛德。

Estrategia en tiempo real pero con cámara 2D en una ambientación que recuerda al [u][url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/266840/Age_of_Mythology_Extended_Edition/]Age of Mythology[/url][/u], aunque aquí las civilizaciones a elegir son los vikingos, aztecas y chinos.

Mecánicas mucho más simplificadas y rudimentarias que las de cualquier otro juego en su género.

Gráficos y animaciones de aceptable calidad, sin destacar. No convence el diseño estético de los personajes, es repulsivo.

Audio y música decentes.

Opciones de configuración muy reducidas y limitadas, ni siquiera deja cambiar la sensibilidad del ratón, que por defecto es demasiado alta. Tampoco permite hacer modificaciones una vez empezada la partida.

Idioma de voces en inglés, textos traducidos al español.

Modo multijugador [u][url=https://steamcharts.com/app/63500]apenas retiene gente jugando[/url][/u]. Al menos permite poner la búsqueda de gente en segundo plano mientras se juega al modo individual contra bots.

Dificultad separada en varios niveles pero aún así es bastante elevada en ciertas partes de la campaña. Realmente el nivel que se puede modificar de la IA es solo para la velocidad, pero no su conducta o eficiencia.

Optimización que llega a 144 FPS incluso cuando hay muchos personajes en la pantalla.

Duración total de unas 5 horas para la campaña individual (sin DLC), aunque luego se le podría añadir más con el modo multijugador, escaramuza, retos, etc.

Historia simple e infantil con cinemáticas mediocres que no deja saltar.

Conclusión: repetitivo y aburrido en poco tiempo. Se nota que al ser un juego de móvil está muy limitado.

Asker basıyoruz, askerler ekranın solundan sağındaki düşmanlara doğru gidip savaşıyor. Güzel bir campaign hazırlamışlar ama oyun biraz fazla kolay. Tuşlara rastgele bassanız bile geçersiniz. Kısaca yapması gerek şeyi güzel yapan bir oyun indirimde alınıp boş zamanınızda oynayabilirsiniz ama çok da bir beklentiniz olmasın.

The idea behind the game is pretty simple and there isn't much replay value. Clearly a mobile port that hasn't even been really well done, with the mouse speed too fast and no settings to adjust it. After some minutes the game just becomes repetitive and not really enjoyable.

There is online multiplayer also, but for this moment, I saw only 4 random people that were online, so it can be hard to achieve all achievements for those, who like to receive them. I recommend this game. It cost little, but very fun.

As for me, Vikings are the easiest to play, the easiest to understand, and very strong with healing magic. The other two civilizations, are much harder to learn, and much harder to use their magic cuz you need to plan your mana spending.

I've played this once in the past and thought to give it a go again so I can write down a review. I played through the Viking (only unlocked) campaign, and I feel like that's enough. After an hour it feels pretty repetitive already, so didn't bother with other campaigns. I wouldn't spend money on this today.
It's very simple, and it is 14 years old, so I'll give it that. However, by today's standards, it's not much more than a mobile game (without all the ads and popups).

PROS:
- It has plot, which is better than most of these types of games.
- Factions have enough differences to distinguish them from each other.
- There different types of missions with varying goals, probably as much as this type game and engine allows.
- Contains multiplayer

CONS:
- Plot is more like extended single joke, one for each faction.
- Tug of war type of gameplay is frustrating. Expand your resouce base and then it is just war of attrition, spamming units until you're lucky to beat up the opponent.
- Computer cheats. Even if you're laying siege on opponents base having beaten all the units down to gold gatherers, it can still generate units. Essentially battles are rock-paper-scissors, some kind of unit or spell works against certain kind of units. - you can't otder your forces to await at your base and build horde yourself. And for opponent it is possible.

Not excellent, but could be way worse.

Absolute mediocrity. Obviously inspired by Warcraft 3, in its humor and presentation. Literally has some re-voiced lines that are from W3. There are free Warcraft 3 maps that are better than this. There are several scenario types, but the gameplay is basically a linear W3 map with some forks sometimes.

Fun little indie tower defense. The game play loop is simple enough. Make units that mine gold while producing combat units. You also have powers like healing to help your units proceed towards the enemy camp. The cartoon art style lends itself very well to a game like this. A shame the company went bankrupt.

Short version: This game is freakin' AWESOME!

Long version:
I originally played this game on the Wii when I was a wee little lad. I hadn't played much games and I didn't quite understand how to play 'cause I was really stupid. I watched my mom play it a lot though (she loved it) and eventually, when I was finally old and strong enough to properly understand instructions and use the WiiMote's sensor properly, I immediately enjoyed the experience. It was super cool sending units and stuff! I spent COUNTLESS hours playing the Skirmish mode with my little brother. I usually played as the Chinese but we both agreed that the Aztec were the strongest. Eventually, though, we grew older and moved on to other games. We still returned to this game every now and then, but it was for a four hour session at most. We bought the second game on the Switch later but we dropped it pretty quickly as it didn't feel very fun to play (we couldn't believe they removed the Aztecs, too! They were our favorite).
One day, I was prowling the Steam store and was thinking of random games that I liked. This game crossed my mind and I randomly decided to act upon my urge to look it up on the Steam store. I couldn't believe my eyes when it was greeted to me, and even greater, it was on sale along with the DLC I had never heard of before! I snagged both for around three dollars and immediately convinced my younger brother to do the same. Playing it in HD was amazing and I quickly realized there was more to this Steam version than improved graphics -- I'm fairly certain it has balancing changes, too! The skeletons don't seem to grant as much mana as they did on the Wii when you sacrifice them (thank goodness, spamming those skeleton spawning necromancer guys and sacrificing all those skeletons to unleash a bajillion spells was overpowered). They also seem to have brought a few very minor balancing changes across the game, too! I'm fairly certain the Vikings weren't as much of a threat in the Wii version and the Aztecs felt much less oppressive (though they're still probably the best in the entire game). They took an absolutely obscure gem from Wii and IMPROVED IT! This is the definitive way to play this masterpiece!
I suppose it's time to stop running my mouth about my personal anecdote, however. A general review of the game is in order! I found the graphics to look really good (the art style holds up really well to this day) and the gameplay was just as fun as I remember. I've seen some people calling it "nothing more than spamming units" but it really isn't the case. It's important to decide whether to put all your gold towards miners at the beginning of a round or split it between miners and units to go defend yourself or harass the enemy. Even after you have all your gold miners alive and well, choosing what upgrades to get and what units to send is exhilarating. Even once you have enough gold to constantly replace towers and supply all the units you can, decisions can be made with the spells unique to whoever you're playing as! It's freakin' AWESOME! The campaign is very simple but super fun and introduces a fair amount of unique scenarios. I can understand if somebody says this game is a little racist with the stereotypes, but I feel that isn't the case. This isn't portraying any of them in a negative way -- it's just a stereotype, and not an offensive one. Then again, I guess I'm not Chinese or an Aztec or a viking, so I guess I can't really be talking. Still.

Overall, this game is an obscure gem that is a masterpiece. It's endlessly worth the price, so drop everything you have and purchase this game immediately! I swear you won't regret it. Besides, the developers need more gold!

Невидимый яблочный пирог
Ингредиенты:

сливочное масло – 50 г. + для смазывания;
сахар – 50 г. + 0,5 ст. л;
яйцо – 3 шт;
мука – 80 гр;
корица – 1/4 ч. л;
молоко – 60 мл.
миндальные лепестки – 20 гр.
Способ приготовления:

Форму для выпекания смазать сливочным маслом. Стенки присыпать половиной столовой ложки сахара. Постелить в форму пергамент.

Духовку разогреть до 180 градусов.

В глубокой посуде взбить яйца и 50 гр сахара, всыпать муку, корицу и все хорошо перемешать. Частями влить молоко, каждый раз перемешивая тесто до однородности, а затем ввести растопленное масло.

Яблоки очистить от кожуры и сердцевин, нарезать их очень тонкими дольками, максимум 3-4 мм, аккуратно вмешать в тесто.

Перелить тесто в форму, посыпать миндальными лепестками и отправить в духовку на 40 минут.

Готовый пирог можно слегка присыпать сахарной пудрой.
