哇哦，一个魂斗罗like的复古射击游戏，不同于旧魂斗罗系列的穿着皮条裤打枪的肌肉猛男，在这里是机器人打枪社保一堆异形生物，还算有点意思，以及通关一次后就能解锁经典秋裤男皮肤。这是谁的部将，我爱死它了。

游戏整体上基本复原了旧魂斗罗的很多体验，比如说究极轮椅S枪，我不太懂的M枪以及无敌星B道具。在一些细节上有点差异，但无伤大雅。美工风格上基本都是魂斗罗系列的第八关那味，很猎奇也很新奇，而且这种老像素感也确实相当对味。以及可以两个人一起玩，多新鲜呢。完美复刻了那种纯真的拖后腿和“借一条命”的欢乐感。

难度曲线上充分体现了魂斗罗也是魂游的理念，个人感觉比魂斗罗本家都要抽象一点，不过除了初见杀有些偏多以外都在合理的范畴以内，最重要的是摸清规律以及集中精神，可以说在这一点上相当耐玩。

综上所述，8/10，如果是这一块的受众值得一试。

Прошли вдвоем на нормале. Было ненормально сложно, особенно всякие троль-боссы. А ведь кто-то проходил это один, надеюсь, что на одного там как-то проще, иначе непонятно.

Понравилось, что за прохождение на нормальной сложности сразу дают ачивку еще и за прохождение на легком.

Спасибо авторам за бесконечные конты и наличие чекпоинтов на длинных уровнях. Без них, как по старинке, было бы слишком тяжко.

Поиграл пару уровней, но и этого оказалось достаточно, чтобы понять , почему игра провалилась. Для начала меню - это тихий ужас. привычную схему и кнопки навигации автор зачем то поменял на абракадабру. Чтобы войти в пункт меню, нужно нажать старт, чтобы выйти - тоже нажать старт. Автоматически игра подключенный геймпад не распознает, поэтому тоже тратим время на переключение схемы управления. далее мучения с осями x и y, которые по умолчанию почему-то инвертированы. Сколько не боролся с ними, так и не смог правильно настроить - пришлось использовать не крестовину , а стик. Визуально меню скорей отталкивающее, нежели стильное.
зачем-то перед началом уровня нам предлагают на включить графические эффекты - зачем. почему? Не понятно. Видимо игрок сам бы не смог найти это в меню настроек.
и вот, после танцев с бубном игра начинается. Никакого вступления и брифинга - просто высаживаемся с корабля и Батлтоадс и вперед. Очень странно разбросаны бонусы - например тот , что уничтожает всё на экране, находится там, где врагов и толком нет. турели имбалансные. Если встретите две, которые ведут перекрестный огонь. гарантированно понесете потери. Сами турели я сразу не распознал - думал, что этой часть антуража.
насчет графики в целом - я понимаю, что хотелось сделать по больше, да по красивей. но например вторая локация слишком перегружена. Лучше бы было сосредоточиться на эффекте глубины фона, нежели на пестрой палитре. Многие спрайты либо стырены из других игр, либо немного перерисованы. Да, наверное и своей графики было нарисовано не мало, но почему поленились сделать нормальную анимацию прыжка, вместо того , чтобы вращать один кадр?
В музыку слушаться не успел. но она вроде как не раздражает. В общем, несмотря на мою огромную любовь к ретро. желанию всё таки пройти игру появится не скоро .
Автору советую прочесть хотя бы парочку книг по геймдизайну, и желаю успехов в будущем.

Знакомься, это Super Cyborg, и он клал болт на твой титул отца. Ты будешь плакать, будешь кричать, пищать, какать кирпичами и делать все то, что не должна делать особь мужского пола. Все равно считаешь, что тебе все по плечу? Спешу огорчить. Есть кооперативные достижения. А это значит, что ты, и тот второй, который тоже считает себя отцом, вы будете дуэтом кричать и пищать в такт друг другу.

This game is hard as hell. But in a good way. It allows you to learn and improve. As opposed to banging your head against a wall until you get lucky or tank your way through it. I feel like the creator played this game.

Graphics: Very outdated, obviously. Better if you turn off the blur filter or are nostalgic. But there's interesting artwork as well.

Online co-op works great. Had no issues

Some minor gripes:
You need a keyboard to enable the controller from in game, the first time.
I really wish there was a button to lock aim direction. There is a toggle button to lock your character in place. This kills me every time.
The lowest level for music is obscenely loud if I still want to hear discord. A master volume slider would be nice.

A good contra like game but you have a megaman like charge shout along with your normal attack. Though this is the first game as the series has move on from here and not all in a good way. I do feel some spots have to many fast inf. enemy spawns as you have to deal with shooting enemies can seems a bit cheap at times. One note is if you beat a level you'll start on it if you lose all your lives but from the start.

I did have to enable my controller from the menu. I saw another review saying something about the controller so check the settings if you have this issue.

Good game if you like old school nintendo games but it is hard.

Old game by now from 2015 but when i thirst for a 'modern day Xain'd Sleena experience' this is the game to fire up.

To me it is obvious what the inspiration was when this game was made. Contra yes but to me it goes further than Contra all the way to arcade hey days of Xain'd Sleena. And it is easier too than the original coin muncher game that i wasted so much time and money on when i was a kid. Much easier, but it still kicks you around really well and as such i have not been able to beat it. (Avoiding continues - for now at least. I am sucker for punishment sometimes)

Not sure if i recommend this. It is a game from a special kind of era. Souls games are the modern equivalent that are all the rave now but this one is here to remind punishing games are not new.

positive points:
- graphic (cool body horror in NES style glory)
- absolute banger that kept me going for 7 hour.
- good price value for a view nice crafted contra like levels.
- if a update is made to easy difficulty to make a normal play-through possible I would recomend playing!

negative points:
- I had to map my PS4 controller to keyboard keys for it to work.
- Been frustrated to redo a stage just to figure the next boss pattern.
- I cheated after 2 hours in the final shaft to beat the game.
- Sections seem to be designed with powered weapons in mind. (So why lose them on death even on easy)
- I rarely used charge shoots. (A passive charging system would had solved that for me. Like time or kills..)

This game is good. It's pretty unashamed of being a clone of Super Contra, and it's tough as hell. To the point where I almost don't want to recommend it. However, I am having fun with it. I find myself coming back to it and enjoying it every time. The music is a bop and then enemies are well designed and come at you FAST. Single player works great on the steam deck. I did have some difficulty getting 2 player co-op working though. Could be used error.

楽しい所
・ほどよく緊張感あって戦って楽しいボス戦
・ため撃ちシステム(これのおかげで初期武器でもある程度戦える)
・固定撃ちができること(しかもスピリッツ方式とハードコア方式かを選べる)

イヤな所/気になるところ
・雑魚敵が無尽蔵に湧いてくる(限度はあるがかなりウザイ)
・固い敵が多い(かなりウザイ)
・全体的に道中がいやらしい(最終面の拡散弾砲台など)
・坂道で斜め打ちしても弾の弾道が坂の角度と水平にならない
・当たり判定が厳しい(敵に甘く自機に厳しい？)

個人的に気になるところは多いですが、固定撃ちと強力なため撃ちのおかげで結果的に良作になったと思っています。
あとスムーズな回転や綺麗なエフェクトをオンオフできる仕様になっているのもかなり評価が高いです。
ただ、ゲームを最初から始めるたびに主人公のカラーや難易度設定、上記のこだわり設定を設定しなきゃいけないのはちょっとめんどくさいかも。
どこかで設定を保存出来て、すぐ始められるようにできればもっと遊びやすくなったかもしれないです。
スピリッツやメタルスラッグ6のように武器の切り替えができるようになったらもっと良かったかも。

Неплохой закос под восьмибитную кОнтру. Бодрячковый геймплей, неплохие боссы, знакомые пушки. Конты, в отличие от несовских версий, бесконечные. Сложность достигается заваливанием персонажа врагами и, под конец игры, ещё и боссами. Ближе к концу игры разработчик удивляет невиданной щедростью и даёт несколько контрольных точек. Правда финал всё равно получился очень душным. Не сложным, а именно душным. Раз за разом унылый медленный лифт, который не проспидранить, чтобы увидеть ещё одну фазу босса и умереть. Не хватает кнопки рестарта, после каждой смерти приходится сливать все оставшиеся жизни, потому что потеря жизни и оружия сулит мало весёлого в борьбе с очередным исчадием сатаны.

Ну что ещё? Отличный саундтрек от небезызвестного Даркмана. Есть какой-то кооператив даже. Сюжета нет, только катсцена в конце игры. В общем, игра стоит внимания. Фанатам старой контры обязательна к ознакомлению.

Дошёл до 7 уровня . Сложно ,но выполнимо.Запоминаешь уровни,атаки боссов.Но 7 уровень это нечто.Слишком много выбегающих врагов.По 5-6 штук со всех сторон.А уж босс.Это просто пипец. Бесконечно долгое отстреливание щупалец.Если умер и оружие потерял это всё конец.Потом еще несколько фаз.И когда ты думаешь что всё тебе на голову ВНЕЗАПНО падает самый последний босс.Я с чит на 40 жизней и оружие прошел последнего босса раза с 5.Староват я для такого.Любые консольные контры 8-16 бит спокойно прохожу если что)

Я уже не помню когда её купил, понравилась похожестью на контру из детства.
Но как я ошибался, о проблемах не будут писать уже все кому не лень обласкали эту поделку.
Самый дебильный босс это последний, это же надо такое придумать.
Больше в это играть не буду и так волос на голове не особо, а после прохождения и выбивания ачивок ещё поубавилось.
Ни кому не рекомендую эту шляпу.

Super Cyborg bathes in its inspiration, but that isn't a bad thing. I had a lot of fun with this game, and I adored the alien design. There was so much creativity to the visuals, and especially the backgrounds in a few levels. There are clear patterns for every boss, and the saving system was a great feature. I think the second part of the third boss has a weird movement pattern, and I'm not sure if it's supposed to be awkward to deal with.

This game will test your patience, but it's definitely lots of fun on easy mode. I think the music achievement needs some changes, because it requires a weird amount of time for each song. I'm also curious why the regular enemies give so few points. It almost feels like the developers did not want players to tape a button down on their controller to get extra lives. (:

Super Cybord is a really impressive game coming from a team of three people, and far more challenging than all the old Contra games I played growing up. I'd love to see what else this team can do.

Мог бы быть отличный клон Super Contra, но к сожалению не докрутили:
- танцы с бубном при подключении контроллера
- отсутствие контрольных точек
- со сложностью перебор
Возможно вдвоем еще можно поиграть, но что бы соло пройти - это нужно прям наизусть выучивать уровни.

A decent, heavily Contra inspired game that arguably takes a bit too much from it's inspiration as a basis. Feels somewhat like a hypothetical Contra game between Super C and Contra 3 with it's simple arsenal of mechanics and gameplay structure. Being idea diverse helps it stand on its own two legs.

Unless you're REALLY good at Run n gun titles, I heavily recommend playing on easy for your first time.

ファミコン以上スーファミ未満の8ビットグラフィックの魂斗羅クローンです。
登場する武器も大体同じで、マシンガン、スプレッド、レーザー、爆裂弾、ラピッド、画面敵全滅と、お前はどこの魂斗羅だ？と言いたくなるくらいの魂斗羅ですｗ
ただノーマルとイージーの難度の違いがあまりわからない（多少耐久力が違うか？）こと、雑魚敵が頻繁に湧きすぎでストレスがたまることで、爽快感はあんまりないです。そしてボスがはっきり言って嫌悪感が湧くくらいキショイので、耐性ない人は手を出さないほうがいいですｗ
と言っても、500円未満でラン＆ガンをやりたい人はおすすめ。

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. This is especially true of this game as it a complete ripoff of the original Contra game. The problem is that when you try to copy a classic, you need to be better or as good as what you're copying. Unfortunately, this is not the case. It's not that this is a bad game per say, but I'd much be playing any of the 8 or 16 bit Contra's instead of this game. Add in the limited lives and hard difficulty that Contra is known for, this game gets a thumbs down for me. Save up and get the Contra Anniversary Collection instead. You'll be much happier with your purchase.

Si los insultos se te caen de la lengua y no tenés buena tolerancia a la frustración, es mejor que dejes pasar [b]Super Cyborg[/b] que no es otra cosa que un clon de Contra/Probotector de alta dificultad (como si los juegos mencionados no lo fueran).

Son 7 escenarios diversos culminados por un final boss que derrotar. Con un número limitado de vidas tenés que abrirte paso entre infinitos enemigos haciendo uso de diversos power-ups, aunque esa diversidad queda restringida a una sola arma cuando comprendés que la única que te puede ayudar es la shotgun (S). La jugabilidad es dura pero gratificante. Afortunadamente haciendo honor a los juegos de la SNES y Genesis/Megadrive es posible usar cheats para facilitarte el gameplay (y no tanto). El argumento es una excusa para dar paso a la acción.

Artísticamente nos recuerda a la época dorada de las 16 bits. Si te gusta lo retro, el apartado gráfico y sonoro no te va a defraudar en lo absoluto. [b]Super Cyborg[/b] se juega muy bien con el gamepad y admite jugar con un amigo ya sea de forma local o por internet. Es posible encontrarlo con descuento de hasta el 75%. Se agradecen los cromos y los logros aunque algunos sean prácticamente imposibles. Se recomienda comenzar jugando en “Easy”.

I really tried liking this game. It has a lot going for it, music is great, technicalities are good ... but ... the difficulty level is really hard (before you assume GIT GUD, read on) but not in a good way. I finished a lot of hard games and I like a good challenge, the thing is that challenge here feels very steep even on easy, but most importantly cheap :/

Examples :
- 2nd level the backgrounds are so colorful with so many graphical things going on it's often hard to see the bullets on time
- enemy spawning, jumping etc. feels really cheap, sometimes there's no way to avoid getting hit and that's never a good thing
- bosses are bullet sponges, even on easy
- you rarely feel powerful, power ups are ok (typical Contra) but due to cheap deaths and low lives (even on easy) you always feel like you're about to die and never feel powerful

Anyway, I like the game but would not recommended due to the fact of so many places where you can die so cheaply. Shame. If there was at least a mode with more lives to allow me to enjoy the game and not feel like a cheap chore.

Of course you can just GIT GUD, but to be honest I can't deal with high difficulty that is also cheap. Sorry.

A game that Should of taken me max 3 hours to complete turned into an 11 hour marathon of pure frustration and agony.

I first want to point out what is really good about the game. The gameplay for the most part is fun, it is a Super Contra Clone, a pure run and gun to its core. The Grotesque Boss Designs are by far one of the ugliest ones (in a good way!) that I have seen in pixel art along with the final world background, it was very well done and felt like a horror game at times, lot of props to the pixel artist in that department. In general the pixel art was good I just wanted to emphasize on the Grotesque part of the designs since its what stood out the most. The music as well in the game was great! I enjoyed every track from every level and even the main menu and boss themes. The sound design overall was amazing.

So why wouldn't I recommend this game? well at its core, the game is flawed, at least the way I experienced it.

First off, Super Cyborg is trying to recreate the old school Hardcore Challenging gameplay that games back in the day provided, which to me, is where the huge fault lies. I think its great that indie devs want to bring back or create products that are similar to the ones from way back when, but why would you also bring in the outdated mechanics that everyone disliked which modern gaming fixed over the years? A game was only made difficult and unfair because they needed to extend playtime and make the price tag justifiable. when you do the same thing for modern games, it just creates an incredibly frustrating and tedious experience.

You die in 1 hit and only have 4 lives, after that, its game over and it shoots you back to the beginning of the level. No checkpoints at all, not even before a boss. Enemy placements are incredibly unfair in a lot of places with them being able to run faster than you and spawning above, under, in front and behind you. A lot of the times your normal weapons are not useful, in fact, most of the weapons you can get were not even as useful as the Spreader which seemed like it was absolutely necessary to progress. This became especially true in a lot of sections of the game where you wouldn't be able to clear ANYTHING (especially in the final boss!) if you did not have the Spreader. Whenever I lost my gun, I would restart because that's just how bad you need to rely on it, so in a way you are forced to play on a no death run since when you get a game over you lose your gun. The Jumping as well seemed like it was floaty for no reason, There is a level where you have to go up and land on platforms and there would be times where I would not land on them even though I clearly touched the edge. Sometimes if the enemies were too close to you, the game wouldn't detect you hitting them which can cause you to lose a life.

I feel like this game was balanced more for co-op then it was for single player. Since I did not play co-op I cannot really say but as a single player experience it was very frustrating. I think there was passion and hard dedicated work done but I did not enjoy having to complete the game towards the mid point.

Excelente banda sonora, graficamente se nota una mejora constante en los assets conforme avanzas en el juego (como si el artista del equipo se fuera acomodando durante las creaciones) pero empiezan desde un nivel mas que agradable. El level design presenta ciertas ambivalencias, mostrando cosas muy buenas que te acercan a la experiencia de los Contra de nes y algun que otro elemento posible de Hard Corps, pero tambien se olvidan de respetar la presencia de alguna pausa entre partes para respirar, o tambien saber cuando hay suficientes elementos en pantalla en simultaneo, pasando de un desafio a un snowballing constante que mas que desafiar puede agotar mentalmente.
Mas allá de esa negativa, lo recomiendo fuertemente. Solo tomen con pinzas la idea de dificultad del game designer.

Была попытка пройти на клавиатуре, но из-за невозможности удерживать 3 кнопки одновременно практически не играбельно. То есть помучаться можно, но опыт будет уже не тот. То есть нельзя нормально зажав на стрельбу, прыгать в нужном направлении. Есть также косяк с переводом игры в полноэкранный режим - игра уходит в чёрный экран.

Также есть нюанс, что вроде бы от российского разработчика игра без русского перевода, хотя любители даже классические контры перевели полностью. В общем, смысла приобретать нет вдвойне, так как вышел доработанный порт на консолях. Об тамошнем успехе говорить трудно ввиду отсутствия информации, но об отношении к ПК всё прозрачно. Но народу вроде нравится даже с учётом таких технических проблем.

A Contra esque retro game. If you are into these shoot em up games. You find one more game.
More modern audience will probably be annyoed by the very hard difficulty. And there is no Konami Code here.

If you want a good Contra game you get exactly what you want. Hardcore Fans can spend 5 Euro here but i recommend a sale. It get´s sold mostly for 1,50 something then.

Probotector clone in it's purest form (Yes I'm from a contra region but Probotector was the regions that used androids and these guys are metal) The game has a heavy emphasis on eyes.... like eyes are everywhere... so many eyes. Also hard as balls game play you should expect for this kind of game.

I love it, the concept of this game has intrigued me when I saw game play footage. Like I said to friends this is Contra x The Thing. The pixels on the enemies do scare me but that's what makes it good. The difficulty of the game is fair because it's one of those games where skill is necessary. Weapons, fire rate and bomb power ups are here just like Contra. I'd also get this game on the Nintendo Switch if you had the chance because I don't think you'll be disappointed with this platform shooter with the classic Contra difficulty.

Therefore I would rate this game 10/10 for:
-Creepy/Scary artwork
-Skill based game play
-Classic Old School Difficulty (Optional)
-Easy to play but hard to master experience

Возвращаюсь к этой игре постоянно. Очень крутой ран-н-ган, с садистски выверенным балансом. Именно на ПК баланс особо жесток, настолько, что easy на ПК сложнее, чем hard на свитче. Ачивки на первый взгляд кажутся нереальными, но потом находятся лазейки. Отличная пиксельная графика и офигеннейшая музыка. Крутой дизайн врагов и боссов. Возможность играть в коопе локально и по сети.
Единственный недостаток - сложно настроить управление на джойстик (особенно на два джойстика для локального коопа), списываю на свою криворукость.

好玩，爱玩，上头，游戏真的是个好游戏，深得魂斗罗的精髓，并且在难度上提升了很多，想要通关难度很大，特别考验耐性和技术，即便有秘籍的40条命，也很难通关，我大概花了200条，得亏这个游戏有检查点，不然在给200条也过不去。

This game was actually really fun playing co-op with. We initially had some some problems with gamepads, but after that was solved everything went smoothly. Game was pretty hard, but not to an unfair extent and at least easy mode gave unlimited continues and game uses checkpoints between levels so it was very much doable.

Graphics are reminescent of 8-bit Contras and spritework is excellent. Enemy placement in levels is pretty nasty, but in a good way and it was fun trying to memorize their locations and boss patterns. Music was pretty catchy too.

All in all, very much recommended for every run'n'gun fan out there.

The games is a lot of fun when I use 40 lives and Weapon select cheat, the level design is good and the bosses are fun to fight. the enemies are well made too. the game cost me 64/- on sale and can be played in online COOP. i cancelled my refund and decided to give this game another go because of the good level design. music is okay too. It is fun even in solo mode.

Xboxコンを繋いで起動してもキーボード操作で起動するのがユーザーに優しくない。
キーコンフィグもA,Bといった表記ではなくbutton1,2といった感じで分かりにくい。
さらにスタート画面でしか設定できないので、プレイしてみてこのボタンの方がやりやすいとなってもゲームを終了しないと変更できない。こんなシステム初めて見ました。

ゲームの内容以前の問題でユーザー目線で開発できていないと思います。

魂斗羅が好きなので中身はすごく面白そうですが、プレイする気が削がれたので返品しました。
