Ok ich hatte tatsächlich eine recht gute Zeit mit Summer of '58 ABER, dass Game hat so seine Tücken. Die Grafik ist erstmal sehr schick. Die ganze Atmosphäre ist auch toll, wenn auch manchmal ein wenig zu "drüber", was die automatisch abgespielten Geräusche bei Triggerpunkten angeht. Die Story startet gut und mysteriös, wird dann makaber...verliert mich aber am Ende, weil es das übliche 0815 Wischi Waschi Geister Blabla war. Trotzdem macht das Spiel, was es soll und das macht es durchweg gut. Es gibt die üblichen Schockmomente und Jumpscares. Gibt auch einige echt gut versteckte Secrets und Easter Eggs, für die ich einen Guide benötigt hab. Aber eine Sache hat mich dann doch sehr gestört...es gibt am Ende eine Stelle im Spiel...die sich ausschließlich über Text-Fenster erklärt...und die zieht sich...und zieht sich...und zieht sich, bis an den Punkt das man echt genervt ist. Das war einfach übertrieben. Ansonsten ist Summer of '58 durchaus bei den besseren Horrorspielen anzusiedeln und einen Blick wert. Mit dem Entwickler macht man eh nix verkehrt, wenns um Standard Horrorkost geht. Wenn man nicht zu viel erwartet, bekommt man hier für eine schmale Mark ein hübsches, kurzes, kleines Game. Bekommt eine gute 7/10 von mir.

Pretty Good Horror Game for the Price
I remember playing *Summer of '58* a couple years ago, and honestly it was a really solid horror experience. It’s not a huge or super long game, but for the price it’s definitely worth it.
The atmosphere is where the game really shines. The environment, sound design, and lighting do a great job of building tension, and there were several moments that genuinely caught me off guard. It manages to be both creepy and fun at the same time, which is something a lot of short indie horror games struggle with.
The story and setting are interesting as well, especially if you like paranormal or abandoned-building style horror. Exploring the location and uncovering what happened there keeps things engaging throughout the playthrough.
My only real complaint is that I wish it was a bit longer. Just as things really get going, the game starts wrapping up. Still, what’s there is well done and memorable.
Overall, it’s a pretty good horror game that delivers a scary and enjoyable experience. If you like short atmospheric horror games, *Summer of '58* is definitely worth checking out.

Summer of '58 honestly felt like a ghost story one of your friends at the lunch table would tell you in Elementary school. Gameplay was honestly just too slow and most of it was you passing notes with a ghost behind a door. The fear factor was definitely there though I jumped quite a few times.

Откровенно плохо и дешево во всех смыслах. В игре две небольшие локации, являющиеся купленными/бесплатными ассетами, по которым тебя заставляют тыкаться во все углы в поиске неочевидных скриптов. По сути, геймплей представляет из себя брождение преимущественно в одном здании из трех комнат, пока что-то не произойдет. Даже по большим скидкам крайне спорный экспириэнс, по полной цене тем более.

Simple and straightforward story with jumpscares
Я не люблю игры подобного жанра, и, глядя на эту игру, понимаю, что не зря. Не хочу сказать ничего плохого, кому-то нравится, просто мне не зашло ходить 5-6 минут из комнаты в комнату в ожидании очередного скрипта или скримера. Здесь не нужно думать, не нужно решать головоломки, не нужно выживать. Все, что вы делаете - ходите, наблюдаете скримеры и читаете. Ведь именно так подается сюжет - через записки. Правда, еще до середины игры все становится понятно, после информации о торговле органами и болезни сына директора. Дальше только вводные
Все-таки из плюсов могу отметить неплохую графику, хорошо переданную атмосферу того времени - сам пионер лагерь, все эти атрибуты советского времени, газеты, игрушки, плакаты на стенах - выглядит правдоподобно и натуралистично, вкупе с мистической подачей. Не самый банальный, хоть и быстро раскрываемый сюжет(который, правда, оставляет после себя пару нераскрытых вопросов), ну и непродолжительная длительность(проходится за 1.5 часа). Для данной игры это плюс, в моем случае, ибо такого геймплея на 5-6 часов я бы не выдержал. В конце концов, игру делал 1 человек, да и стоит копейки, так что однозначно стоит похвалить за старания, ибо игра смотрится очень неплохо, именно стилистически. Короче, особенно впечатлительным любителям пощекотать себе нервы рекомендую, остальным лучше пройти мимо
Summer of ’58 è un horror psicologico in prima persona ambientato in un campo estivo sovietico abbandonato. L’idea è semplice: sei un videoblogger che indaga su luoghi infestati, entri nel complesso e inizi a esplorare stanze, corridoi e dormitori cercando indizi su eventi oscuri del passato. Non c’è combattimento, solo esplorazione e script narrativi.
L’atmosfera è il suo punto forte. Gli ambienti sono curati, credibili, con un uso efficace di luci, suoni ambientali e silenzi improvvisi. Il senso di isolamento funziona, soprattutto nelle prime fasi, quando non sai cosa aspettarti e ogni rumore sembra una minaccia. La tensione è costruita bene, anche se in diversi momenti si appoggia a jumpscare piuttosto prevedibili.
La narrativa è lineare e guidata. Non hai reale libertà: segui obiettivi precisi, attivi eventi scriptati, sblocchi nuove aree. Questo rende l’esperienza scorrevole ma poco rigiocabile. La durata è contenuta e una volta concluso non resta molto da scoprire.
Il limite principale è proprio la struttura: più esperienza horror interattiva che gioco vero e proprio. Funziona finché l’atmosfera tiene, ma non offre profondità meccanica né scelte significative.
In sintesi è un horror breve, ben ambientato, efficace sul piano sensoriale ma limitato sul piano ludico.

Данный хоррор можно пройти за 2+- ЧАСИКА вы не будете скучать потому что атмосфера вас очень сильно затянет, скримеры не навязчивые но пугают до усрачки, два раза я думал на)уй помру и словлю инфаркт, также где то 5 раз орал как еб@нат и чуть не уеб)л монитор с кулака, в целом хоррор годный и интересный сюжет интересный

Quick Horror Bite with Some Genuine Scares
This is a pretty quick game to finish. It took me less than 2 hours, and that's while yapping alot with my stream. For a horror title, it's generally solid, and despite the fact that I don't scare easily, I jumped a few times, which is rare for me.
The Puzzles: They strike a decent balance, not too hard, not too easy. However, there's one major catch: if you miss even a single line of dialogue, you'll find yourself running in circles for a frustratingly long time. Case in point: I skipped the first dialogue of the very first puzzle and ended up searching for 30 minutes out of my 2-hour playthrough. So, pay attention!
Gameplay & Graphics: The gameplay mechanics are better than what i typically find in horror games, which was a pleasant surprise. Graphics are average, nothing groundbreaking, but they get the job done.
Final Verdict: I would recommend this game, especially if you can grab it at a reasonable price. Just keep in mind that if you're playing without chatting, you're probably looking at around an hour of content.
Score: 7/10 A short but effective horror experience with solid gameplay and some genuine jump scares, held back by punishing puzzle design and brief runtime.

Я купил эту игру на когда она хайповала и если честно не понял причины как инди хоррор не плохо. Но для тех кто не любит постсоветский сетинг вам не сюда.
Понравился тизер второй части где видимо мы будем в каком то особняке ведьм, жду выхода.
Игра понравилась, жаль что короткая. Местами смогла даже напугать. Рекомендую.

A super scary and cool realistic horror game placing you in a haunted school and hospital where you uncover the story of bullied children turn to ghosts, taking form in the supernatural occurences of objects being thrown, ghost children running through the halls and haunted dolls. This game is super fun and full of bloody scary ghosts and funny moments!
Amazing story, I hope a second one is in the works. After the game go to the select level screen open the locker in the game grab the light and look for the picture for a surprise

Даже не знаю, вроде скримеры неплохие и вставали пару раз волосы дыбом на руках и ногах, но общее впечатление...чуть выше среднего, Динамики какой-то не хватает, что ли...урона, ни кто за тобой не бегает, не убивает...аутласт курильщика какой-то)))
Не хватает анимации, когда ломаешь доски, пишешь записки или пилишь цепь на дверях...Ну серьёзно? Летающая болгарка в 2021 году?))

Всё за что люди любят 1 аутласт,а тоесть дешевые скримеры.Пугают ли они.. да!

ничего непонятно что делать надо,но я сделал
2 часа на платину(можно быстрее),но деньги возвращать за такое плохо,тип справился с задачей напугать меня.

The only thing salvageable is the atmosphere and maybe the art direction (although it doesn't have much to it besides the hyperrealism and the quality of the 3D models).
The gameplay is slow and utterly repetitive, and the controls are clunky. It feels more like a walking sim where you kind of just walk around aimlessly, examining things (or trying to, because sometimes the game will let you pick something up only to not let you examine it until later) until you trigger a sequence change.
It's boring, the story is completely unoriginal, exaggerated and stereotyped and doesn't bring anything new. This game can only be remotely entertaining for people who rarely, if ever, play horror games or watch horror movies.

I quite enjoyed this atmospheric little game. It's short, about an hour and a half, but for me it was a new experience and I thought it was nicely done. It isn't expensive, especially when on sale, so pick it up if you like atmospheric horror games.

Summer of '58 это симулятор ходьбы, с несложными головоломками и поиском предметов. Очень понравилась как передана атмосфера старого заброшенного детского лагеря. Все комнаты наполнены большим количеством детализированных предметов, советскими плакатами и лозунгами на стенах, знакомыми старыми игрушками. Необходимые квестовые предметы используются строго в определенных местах, кроме камеры, поэтому не беспокойтесь, что возникнут трудности с их применением. Музыкальное сопровождение отлично подобрано и постепенно атмосфера нагнетается, несколько скриммеров прям к месту. Звуки, шорохи, скрипы хорошо дополняют картинку.
Интересная игрушка, часа на два. Советую играть в наушниках и в темное время суток. Однозначно рекомендую.

Çok iyi bir oyun değil. Yaklaşık 30–40 dakikada bitiyor ve diğer Emika Games oyunları gibi ortalama bir deneyim sunuyor. Açıkçası beni çok cezbetmedi. Diğer oyunlara kıyasla “mutlaka oynanmalı” hissi vermiyor. Ne çok kötü ne de çok iyi; tam anlamıyla vasat diyebilirim. Fiyatı göz önünde bulundurulduğunda, indirimde alınıp oynanabilir ama daha iyi olabilirmiş.

Калл, симулятор бродилки туда-сюда. Игра состоит из ходьбы кругами. Пара маленьких комнат, ходишь из одной в другую и обратно. Вот и вся игра. Скримеров нет, сюжет дно. Не советую никому. Увы, но плюсов у игры нет!
К слову локаций в игре тоже нет. Вся игра на скринах и видео. По этим комнатам вам и придется ГУЛЯТЬ туда и обратно. Удачи

I'm not big on jumpscares, but this game is. They come in very quick succession early on and diffuse any sense of creeping dread as it becomes obvious that nothing can hurt you and you're just navigating a haunted house. The game is very pretty and the story is fine - I can follow it pretty easily until the last two or so chapters. I'm not sure why, but it has a playable post-credit sequence that teases for another game rather than give a better resolution to this one.
Yeah it's horror, but it's not the kind that made me happy to play. I'm sure it's very popular for streamers.

Además el titulo aprovecha muy bien su entorno, narrativa y ambiente para generarte tensión constante, al igual que el sonido, el titulo depende demasiado de efectos de sonido o cambios repentinos de escena para provocar sustos, lo cual quizá no funcione para todos. En lo personal, es raro que algo me asuste, pero aun así te mantiene en alerta constantemente.
Pequeño dato, este juego va a estar conectado directamente con "From Day to Day", título que aún no ha salido pero quiere decir que está historia tendrá continuidad lo cual está súper bien.
Le jeu est vraiment cool, je suis pas une adepte des jeux d'horreur parce que je suis une petite nature, mais l'histoire est vraiment chouette et m'a permis de dépasser les [insérer une insulte] de screamers. Par contre, j'avoue que je me suis posée beaucoup de questions à la fin du jeu et je suis tristou de pas avoir eu de réponses / de suite (comme ça avait l'air d'être prévu). :(

story was ok and slow there was many points where you just had to walk around and wait for somthing to happen there is no replay ability at all controls are annoying you have to crouch to pick anything up off the floor not just hidden items. after a while the jump scares just seem played out

Ну в целом, за 51 рубль по скидке - это достаточно нормальная игра.
Как первая игра от одного человека - это достаточно нормальная игра.
Для любителей СССРовских заброшек - это достаточно нормальная игра.
В остальном? Короткая (1 час), скучная (история совершенно невнятная), нелогичная (поступки ГГ один страннее другого), непонятная (что бы сработал скрипт и что-то произошло надо то-ли топтаться на месте и чудовищно медленно ходить туда-сюда, то ли просто ждать), ужасно оптимизированная (16гб+1060 6гб, i5 9gen - игра лагает на высоких на ССД), построенная исключительно на скримерах попытка в визуальную новеллу.
Александр, я от всего сердца желаю вам творческого развития, как разработчику и новых проектов, но первый блин комом, по моему мнению.
