I did enjoy my time with the game initially, There's multiple endings so I went eventually went back and got the others after my initial play. After coming to this straight from A Girl's Fabric Face I have realised what I was getting myself into so some of the horror was sucked away. But it was still overall a pretty spooky adventure albeit there being some hunting around for what exactly to do at times. Also the story from the true ending was a little... strange considering but eh, it's whatever.
Goated game, Watched Mark play this years ago and still holds up very well. Amazing Indie game and worth all the time going to 100% soon.
An Unforgettable Psychological Journey That Sticks With You
Suite 776 is a haunting first‑person psychological horror that combines atmospheric storytelling, unsettling environments, and deeply personal narrative threads into an experience that lingers long after the credits roll. What it might lack in combat or traditional mechanics, it makes up for with exceptional writing and tension‑building design that keeps you fully absorbed from start to finish.
From the moment you step into Suite 776, the game places you inside a strange, isolated hotel filled with enigmatic characters, cryptic clues, and a pervasive sense of unease. Exploration is the core mechanic, and every room, corridor, and hidden note feels deliberately crafted to deepen the mystery and draw you further into the narrative. The pacing is deliberate but effective — tension ratchets higher the more you uncover, making every discovery feel significant.
One of the strongest aspects of this experience is how it uses environmental storytelling to blur the line between reality and psychological distortion. The world constantly shifts around you, hinting that nothing is truly as it seems and that every choice might lead you deeper into your own subconscious fears. This creates a gripping sense of unpredictability that few indie horror titles manage as well.
The voice acting and character interactions are notably strong for a game of this scale. Performances feel grounded and authentic, lending real weight to conversations and strengthening your attachment to the story’s emotional core. These vocal performances help sell the eerie atmosphere and make you genuinely care about uncovering the truth behind the hotel’s mysteries.
Replayability here isn’t about combat builds or branching action paths — it’s about experiencing the story again with new knowledge, uncovering connections and outcomes you might have missed the first time. Hidden clues, alternate dialogue triggers, and subtle environmental shifts make each revisit feel rewarding in its own way.
Visually, Suite 776 leans into its eerie setting with carefully lit environments and unsettling audio design that amplifies the horror without ever feeling cheap or gratuitous. Every sound cue, echoing hallway, and flickering light contributes to a mood that’s both compelling and unnerving.
Verdict: A deeply absorbing psychological horror with strong narrative focus, atmospheric design, and thoughtful voice performances.

good horror
A game from my childhood. Finally found it

This was a really good game. The storyline was good and so was the graphics. The game had just the right amount of jump scares and the puzzles were not to hard so overall a really good game that is definitely worth playing and worth the price and I will definitely be recommending it to others.

Suite 776, developed by Stanislaw Truchowski and published by TurnVex, is a short but deeply unsettling psychological horror experience that demonstrates how atmosphere and sound can evoke more fear than any elaborate monster design ever could. It is a game that thrives on simplicity—there are no weapons, no combat systems, and no complex mechanics—only a hauntingly confined space, a tragic story, and the player’s imagination filling in the blanks. Set entirely within the walls of a luxurious yet oppressive apartment, the game immerses you in the mystery of Marcy, an architect who took her own life after her masterpiece, Suite 776, was ridiculed and misunderstood. You assume the role of an investigator sent to explore the abandoned residence, document your findings, and uncover the truth behind the sinister events that transpired within its polished but hollow walls.
The brilliance of Suite 776 lies in how it uses its confined setting to its advantage. The entire game takes place inside a single apartment, yet the suite feels like a labyrinth that reshapes itself to torment you. Corridors twist into impossible layouts, doors open to rooms you swore didn’t exist moments before, and the repetition of familiar hallways builds an oppressive sense of déjà vu. The environment itself becomes the antagonist, aided by the ghostly presence of Marcy, whose unseen influence manipulates both space and perception. Each time you ring the mysterious bell at the center of the suite, something changes—lights flicker, shadows move, and the tension tightens as you sense the atmosphere shifting. The design choice to lock the player into a single location enhances the claustrophobia; every door you open feels like an intrusion, and every step deeper into the suite feels like an act of self-destruction.
Gameplay in Suite 776 is minimal but purposeful. You navigate the apartment in first person, collecting notes, keys, and photographs that piece together the story of Marcy’s descent into obsession and despair. The main mechanic revolves around the ringing of a bell—a seemingly mundane act that acts as the game’s catalyst for supernatural change. Each time you perform the ritual, the environment reacts violently, drawing you further into the nightmare. This cycle of exploration, action, and reaction keeps the pacing tight and relentless. The lack of combat heightens vulnerability, forcing you to rely solely on observation and intuition. The fear comes not from what you can fight, but from what you cannot predict or control. The scares are executed with remarkable restraint—few and well-timed, designed to shock the nerves rather than rely on cheap repetition. The experience is short, typically lasting under an hour, but it is carefully constructed to make every minute count.
The sound design is one of Suite 776’s greatest strengths, transforming silence into a weapon. The creak of a door, the hum of a light, or the distant chime of a bell are used to manipulate tension with surgical precision. The game’s minimal soundtrack ensures that every sound stands out sharply against the stillness, making the player hyperaware of even the faintest disturbance. Sudden noises carry the weight of dread because they break moments of unbearable quiet. Equally effective is the use of spatial sound—footsteps echo from uncertain directions, objects fall when your back is turned, and Marcy’s spectral presence can often be heard before she is seen. The audio environment does most of the heavy lifting, creating the illusion that the suite is alive and observing you. In this sense, the soundscape is as much a character as Marcy herself, weaving tension into the player’s psyche long before any visual scare occurs.
Visually, the game strikes a balance between realism and minimalism. The apartment is beautifully rendered in subdued tones that highlight its cold perfection—modern furnishings, sleek hallways, and sterile lighting that gives the space a clinical unease. The attention to detail in texture and lighting creates a believable setting, which makes its subtle distortions all the more disorienting. The developer uses light as both a tool and a trap; rooms may appear safe under warm illumination, only to plunge into darkness moments later. The use of mannequins scattered throughout the environment adds another layer of discomfort—they seem inert at first, but their positioning changes when you look away, blurring the line between reality and hallucination. The visuals complement the narrative perfectly, reflecting Marcy’s descent from order and brilliance into chaos and madness.
The story unfolds through scattered documents, photographs, and environmental clues rather than direct exposition. Marcy’s life, her ambition, and her eventual collapse are told in fragments, leaving enough ambiguity to let players draw their own conclusions. The multiple endings—three in total—add replay value and deepen the mystery, each revealing different aspects of the tragedy depending on the player’s actions and attention to detail. The narrative is not about survival in the traditional sense, but about uncovering a human tragedy warped by guilt and obsession. It’s this psychological angle that gives Suite 776 its impact; the haunting is not just supernatural, but emotional. The ghost that stalks you is as much a manifestation of sorrow and perfectionism as it is a literal spirit.
While Suite 776’s minimalist approach is part of its strength, it also defines its limitations. The short runtime, deliberate pacing, and linear structure may leave some players wanting more. The slow walking speed, in particular, can make exploration feel drawn out, especially during sections that require backtracking. However, these design choices serve the atmosphere—forcing the player to dwell in unease rather than rush through it. Some critics have compared its looping corridors and surreal environment to P.T., and while the influence is undeniable, Suite 776 distinguishes itself through its psychological intimacy and focus on grief rather than pure terror. It’s not about endless jump scares but about a slow realization of what drove Marcy to create her masterpiece—and how that same obsession consumes anyone who steps inside it.
Ultimately, Suite 776 is a testament to how minimalism and careful design can evoke powerful horror. It is a concise experience that captures the essence of dread through atmosphere, storytelling, and sound rather than spectacle. Every creak, every flicker of light, and every distorted hallway contributes to an escalating sense of paranoia that lingers long after the credits roll. It is a game that respects the player’s intelligence, trusting tension over excess, and mystery over explanation. For fans of slow-burning psychological horror, Suite 776 stands as a chilling example of how fear can be built not through monsters or gore, but through silence, confinement, and the inescapable weight of a haunted mind.
Rating: 8/10
Made in Unity this small game has a very cool concept.
Not a Survival Horror game like etichettes says, but in that 40 min it's gonna give you jumpscares.
I wish there were more, it's been years since l felt my skin tremble!
Buy it even at full price!
Suite 776 is a really fun game! One of the jump scares got me good! It was worth the time to get the alternate ending too (ending 3), and I did find myself wanting to play it again. I appreciate a good, short game. I recommend for horror fans!
This was one of the first indie horror games with multiple endings that made me actually want to go back in and get those completed! I had a blast with the story of this one. You get immersed into the horrors of this apartment building VERY QUICKLY! Like there is no build up, you are just trapped and struggling right away. The creepy sounds ring through the hallways at the perfect times and really made me poo my pants. Plus the secret ending (which I have in my video below so GO WATCH IT!) was fantastic and a great love letter from the developer. This is a great prep for his second game, Within Skerry, so once you beat this one go RIGHT AWAY to the next game. You wont regret it! Oh here be the link you crazy kids... https://youtu.be/MBk4ZjMSRI8?si=Pcy3U8ji06jU1jbC
9.5/10
not my style, did not impress (good job devs though!!)
10/10, def try the third ending, it'll change the whole story
a good sunday night game

Worth the price of admission.
Garbage slop, dont bother
lmao zootopia
Very fun game with a great story.
better than Within Skerry
This one was great. I usually play these types of games just for a change of pace, and to be honest, most of them don’t do much for me especially when it comes to jump scares. They almost always fall flat because I don’t scare easily.
But this game? It actually hit me with a couple of jump scares so intense, I felt like I was about to have a full-on seizure. No joke.
So, from my experience, it’s definitely worth trying!
Keyboard controls can't be changed. This makes it very awkward to even walk around on a non-qwerty keyboard. Which a big part of the world actually uses. Unforgiveable to not implement this.
And no controller support.
Don't buy if you have a non-qwerty keyboard.
Suite 776 was phenomenal. The Puzzles were fun. The ambiance was scary. I want to seem more games like this. I got real PT vibes from this. Gave me goosebumps. I recommend this to every gamer out there. Hands down.

Mon let's play :

This was the first PC Game I played in years. I had watched Daz Black play it, and I just couldn't help it. Creepy and jump scares! It's a fun play through.
kinda cool

☑ This game got me with some jumpscares a few times... its sort of like PT, walking around the house completing quests and whenever you finish something the house changes. the audio can be creepy, the visuals are really weird because you always feel like the woman is right around the corner or behind you, definitely recommend this game. there's also alternate endings to play through :)
Overall Rating: 8/10. I really really liked this game! Lots of jumpscares, very twisted and weird, with things kind of always changing around you. It's got the right atmosphere. Do recommend.
Scary, But very slow
Not masterpiece or very very scary but entertaining good little game. Game has little bit of collectibles/easter egg etc and different endings so its very nice that it`s not basic walking game without anything else to do. in this price 7/10 good entertaining indie horror game and i can recommended this.
I played this game on my YouTube channel! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Rh3myIQBGQ
Suite 776 is a game where you play as a paranormal investigator!
It has a super unique mechanic where you have to take photos of paranormal activity. This game is full of scares, puzzles, and a pretty good story. I've gone back to play this game a few times. And i have fun every time!
Prepare yourself for some great spooks!
A good game that drives you crazy.
You start to see things that aren't there...
Or are they there?
Who knows.
Absolutely amazing!! I almost threw my taco while watching my son play!!! 5⭐
Even to this day this game is amazing, finally got around to recording it for my followers and I'm so glad I did from the simple puzzles to the jump scares, nothing was over the top and worked so well together I can't wait to find the other endings.
Feel free to check my play through below:

Игра топ и стоит своих денег даже цену побольше заслужила, это первый хоррор от которого я обдристался, рекомендую оценка 5/5
Loved playing this on stream. Some complain about jump scares and stuff but personally I think they're super fun. They're perfect for a short horror like this. The story is convincing and enjoyable. There's a few endings, I think I've found 2 of 3. I'm sure the other is a cheeky short ending I haven't figured out yet. Definitely recommend if you enjoy tense, straightforward horror like me :)
Great inexpensive horror game. The story goes a lot deeper than you would expect, I recommend trying to get all the achievements as it adds a whole new level to the game.
short, sweet, perfectly done jumpscares.
pog.
scewy vewy scewy. scared the noodles out of my microwave.
such a wonderful game great story line great graphics
diaper poo everywhere
it was fun and scary but it does not save so you have to restart every time i want to play but i still recomend
Great sound design and atmosphere, and some good spooks. Worth the $1.99 I paid for it.
Fantastic little game.
Suite 776: A Journey Through Fear and Mystery

A Short Horror Experience That Packs a Punch
In the realm of indie horror, Suite 776 stands out with its chilling atmosphere and intriguing backstory. Drawing players into an intense environment filled with suspense, this game keeps you on edge while unraveling the dark tale of Marcy, a troubled architect whose legacy takes a sinister turn.
Suite 776 centers around Marcy, a talented architect who could not handle criticism. Her obsession with perfection led to the creation of her controversial design, Suite 776, which ultimately became the site of her tragic demise. Now, it’s your task to prove the haunting legends true by documenting Marcy’s ghostly presence. The game lasts approximately 50 minutes, with no save functionality, encouraging a single-sitting experience.
Gameplay and Atmosphere
The pacing of Suite 776 is more of a slow burn, gradually building tension rather than relying solely on jump scares. While there are a few effective scares throughout the game, the experience is about immersing players in the eerie ambiance rather than bombarding them with frights. You’ll spend your time exploring a suite where hallways change, windows vanish, and mannequins seem to take on a life of their own.
The gameplay mechanics borrow heavily from P.T., a nod that may be both a blessing and a curse. While it captures some of the same atmospheric tension, it also falls into the trap of feeling derivative. The game’s pacing can be hampered by the slow walking speed, making backtracking tedious, yet the logical flow of puzzles helps keep players engaged.
Sound Design and Spooky Encounters
Sound design is one of Suite 776's strongest assets. The ambience and sound effects create a palpable sense of dread, especially in the darkened environments. Unfortunately, the repeated use of certain sound effects can lessen their impact. Some encounters with Marcy can feel awkward due to a lack of animation, which occasionally takes away from the tension built up during your exploration.
It's important to remember that horror is subjective; while I personally found some elements less effective, that doesn’t detract from the overall quality of the game. I enjoyed the thrill of pursuing Marcy with my camera, reminiscent of classic horror pursuits in a low-budget horror film.
Developer’s Journey and Future Aspirations
The creator of Suite 776 expresses immense pride in their work. As a self-taught developer, this game symbolizes years of dedication and growth, and their commitment to continuous improvement is evident. With a hope for future updates, including potential VR support, the developer seems poised to expand their reach and creativity.
Final Thoughts
Suite 776 delivers a solid horror experience that is impressive for a solo endeavor. With about two and a half hours of gameplay, it’s worth your time for anyone interested in indie horror or looking for a suspenseful story.

GREAT GAME! You definitely get your $4 dollars worth. I'm in it for the short, unsettling environment, and Jumpscare heavy Horror games and this game delivered! Good sense of direction without feeling stuck almost at all. i did 1/3 endings in about an hour. Worth your time
WOW! This was a wild ride and was terrified the entire time! Worth a playthrough for some good spooks and makes you want to replay the game!
Very basic, extremely slow. Not a tension-building, creepy slow, it's just slow. I feel like I've enjoyed objectively worse games more than Suite 776, this just isn't my cup of tea.
Jeu sympa.

Suite 776 is nowhere near as scary as other people say it is.

This game is good! It definitely has more of a slow burn sort of feel to it, but there is a competent scare or two littered throughout the 120 minutes it takes to 100% this.
Suite 776 wears it's P.T. influences on it's sleeve for everyone to see. This absolutely isn't a bad thing, but for me, nothing will recreate the magic and grasp P.T. had on horror gaming as a whole. The story centres around Marcy, a renowned architect with an unusual character trait. She had a peculiar way of dealing with criticism, which, after the completion of her controversial creation, Suite 776, eventually led to her untimely death. The premise isn't something to write home about but it gets the job done without coming off as too convoluted. Unlike P.T., however, where your time is spent walking through the same hallway, this game flips that idea and does it to an entire Suite. Hallways change, windows disappear or get boarded up, doors disappear and mannequins make themselves at home in almost every room. It's a nice change of pace from the abhorrent amount of P.T. clones on the market. I may be slightly desensitised to this developers games, having beaten Is Simon There? and A Girls Fabric Face prior to this. He has a knack for building tension but a lot of his scares feel reused if you've played his previous outings.
The walk speed is miserably slow in this one, making backtracking painful, but the puzzles have a thought out and logical flow to them so you really shouldn't be getting too lost. Marcy is kinda spooky looking I guess, but the lack of animation on a few encounters make some spooks downright laughable. I found that a lot of the horror that worked best for me was the pure sound design and ambience. Mix this with getting turned around in the dark, and you get a pretty good panic cocktail. It's a shame that it gets taken away when you hear the same SFX being re-used, or you see a clothing mannequin goofily roll into frame.
As a reviewer though, I do totally understand that horror is a very subjective genre, and what one person thinks is scary, another will think isn't. Just because I didn't find Suite 776 scary, that doesn't mean the developer made a bad game. I had a good time exploring the building, figuring out puzzles and going for the other achievements. I also really enjoyed using my camera and chasing Marcy down like some sort of low budget DOOM clone.
I haven't played all of Stan's games but I definitely plan on checking the rest out, I love the use of cameras in the horror medium and this developer has capitalised on that in a way that scratches my brain nicely.
The developer reflects on the journey of creating Suite 776 with immense pride. Being a self-taught developer, the creation of a game of this magnitude is a testament to years of learning, experience gathering, and heeding to advice from various sources and audiences. Suite 776 is thus a significant milestone in the developer's journey, and they express their hope that players would find the game as enjoyable as it was creating it.
This game is good. For $4.00 USD, you're getting almost 2 and a half hours of a competent horror experience made by 1 man and it is very impressive.
Suite 776 gets a well deserved

Eh, I got my hopes up for all the warnings about intense horror elements, but I was disappointed. There's no danger. Some minor scripted jump scares, and some creepy opportunities to photograph her, but considering it's suppose to be a liminal space, I had the layout down pretty quickly. Also, most of the elements are optional like the bars and photographs. The story also needs a bit of work since she was supposedly a great architect, but killed herself while having a 7 year old, then somehow still haunts the suite. Story is lacking. Is it worth playing once? I think so. To get the other endings? I'm good. No real draw to explore the rest of the lore.

A short (40 minute) PT-inspired horror/exploration game.
The game has no monsters - it's purely about exploring and solving puzzles in a creepy atmosphere. There are a handful of jumpscares. There's a story, but it's nothing worth writing home about. There are multiple endings, giving it a small amount of replayability.
For the price, this is a decent game to spend the time on if you're into these sort of games.

Definitely scary, keeps you on edge, and gives just enough back story to make you want to go for the other two endings!

This is a shorter horror game, and I would consider it a good introduction to horror games if you’re a bit uncertain if you can handle it. It isn’t too terribly scary but does have some fun elements throughout. I did thoroughly enjoy the ending though. I wasn’t suspecting it! I enjoyed the storyline in the game and believed all the elements that tied into Marcy’s story (without spoiling). The game does have a way of walking you through what to do next as long as you are aware of your surroundings. I have only completed 2/3 of the endings so I am really enamored with the pictures, gold bars, and doors I haven’t entered and am curious if they all are used in this final ending or if they left some things to be desired. Can’t wait to find out. Took me 64 minutes on the first play and 44 on the second. For the price though... 100% recommend.
Stan's mind rivals that of Kojima-san
Nice, short, fun, and creepy.
Suite 776 is a fairly basic Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware.
This is your usual spooky building first person jumpscare adventure, this time heavy on the corridors than rooms. Gameplay starts of in an apartment building, you're on the 7th floor, you need to make your way to room 76 (hence 776), but if you look out the window you can see you're on ground level, and this is where we find the true horror of this game... there's a game developer who doesn't even know how apartment building numbers work but he thinks it's okay to publish this trashware on Steam. Chilling, isn't it?
This game has been translated from some other language into English... badly. If this was done through Google Translate, Google Translate should feel ashamed of itself. Regardless, the language in this game is broken and will put off a lot of gamers.
The game doesn't have any save game features, despite that being a basic standard for all games of this time. The developer might defend this as an attempt to make the game seem more "difficult" without them having to balance the game or do their job properly with engaging and challenging level design, but it's just as likely they simply couldn't work out how to make a save game feature work. Either way, that's a defect that adds another reason for gamers to avoid this game.
The game is very very short and can be finished in under an hour. Developers have at least some responsibility to provide enough content to make a game last more than 2 hours if they're serious about providing something of value to gamers. There's less content here than some free game demos.
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
Bewilderingly, the game doesn't include proper audio controls, so you can't turn off the annoying sounds, you'll need to alt+tab out and stop the sound using the Windows sound mixer. This is obviously not okay and it's unclear why the developers chose not to include this basic feature.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The game never really caught on with the millions of gamers on Steam, with a very low peak player count close to launch, and then just a handful of players launching this game every couple of days. This is undoubtedly caused by factors such as those raised in this review. It's always helpful with buying decisions to consider how popular and successful the product is, and unfortunately while this did accumulate a few participation trophy reviews, overall, people just aren't using it.
So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam?
Suite 776 has the laughable price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Passiert nicht viel...
I've been streaming horror games for a few months now and I have to say that, this game was fantastic. The jump scares were on point, the environment kept me feeling like there was going to be something around a corner each time I would roam the hallways of the house. My live stream absolutely loved it an so did I. We completed all 3 endings and enjoyed your Easter egg. I highly recommend picking this one up if you want another fun horror game to add to your library.
Great game with a deep sinister vibe. Check out my video on youtube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmiAynjEUgA&ab_channel=KatzKorner-HomeofKenziekat
everything was greeat
My pants turned brown the first time I played.
Good game
I went into Suite 776 thinking it would be a standard horror game relying on cheap jump scares and an average story. What i found was a game with an unsettling atmosphere and genuine scares that did make me jump. The game is definitely short at under an hour to complete but it packs enough in there to make it enjoyable. Ring the bell.
