It also runs great on potato PC's.
People often mention the modding scene when it comes to this game, but after playing this game fully without mods and beating the various clubs, i do feel that the vanilla version of this also deserves its flowers. This slowly became one of my favourites in the racing genre, mostly due to the car building process remains fairly in-depth without coming off as tedious or annoying. Having to fix your car for every little dent you create makes the stakes higher and makes me more wary when im driving as one bad high speed crash can bankrupt me in seconds. Speaking of crashing, I love the physics system in this game, I wouldn't say that its as good or better than something like BeamNG, but i would argue that it features one of the best. Car customization is a bit lackluster but it IS present and I do appreciate the fact that you can basically remove every body panel to reduce weight and sell the parts for money, pretty cool. My only criticism that I have for the game is the sort of "Career mode" where you beat the various clubs in the game, I do feel that it was WAYYYY too short and should have been updated. Nonetheless the game is 1000% worth the price especially considering the various mods created for this game throughout the years. For a 2003 game, it still competes against alot of modern titles that are released today. I really hope that we can get a modern iteration of this title.

Nice Game just needs updates again
Finally beat the game!
Bought it in 2017, fought bugs, mod conflicts, and crashes. Since they started updating the game again in 2026, I was able to play through, with mods, and beat the game. If you like street drag racing with lots of parts and options, this game is it! Don't let the graphics fool you! Best part is that I can continue playing and enjoying the game long after finishing the story.

провел бесчисленное количество часов на пиратке в нулевых, ковыряясь в гараже и устанавливая бесконечное количество модов на жигули, супры и тд и тп.
здорово что этa игра есть в стиме.
очень хочется увидеть и LASR когда-нибудь
Игра без конечнйо цели. Собирай машину, выигрывай гонку, разбивай машину и начинай сначала.
Песочница механика, только упращенная для казуалов.

Thank you devs for adding race track events. It feels next to impossible beating this game without them. Street racing vs ill-mannered racers, traffic cars, cops and narrow streets only makes it no different than gambling. Beginning the career as junior track racer within a controlled environment, with much less chance of dropping the engine on the tracks is logical, as I'll need a spare budget for a second car to join street races and secure my position without resetting the whole profile.
My hope for the future of this game is optimisation. I sometimes fall off the map. When some of the AI racers vanish, the game freezes and requires me to do some manual kill-the-process procedures. (Maybe I also need to upgrade my PC... for a fun game that came out in 2003)
Overall, this game is very fun and addicting. I've spent hours and hours finding the right setup for the cars I'm racing with, and for racing on every track events. Good job, devs. I really can't wait for your next release!

lembro desse jogo anos atrás e vim rever, jogava com mods brasileiros etc... era muito bom, mas o fato de não conseguir inserir mods com facilidade acaba desanimando um pouco. Até agora não consegui inserir nenhum mod, então se você prefere o jogo com mods... jogue gratuitamente mesmo.
2025年の年末にまさかの大型アプデが来たので、アプデ後に最初からROC優勝までの流れを2周しての感想です。
先にアプデ前後でどう変わったのかをプレイ中に確認出来た範囲を書いてからレビューに移ります。
前verとの違い
・前verまでは何処でエラー落ちするかわからないので祈りながらプレイするしか無かったのですが、現verでは一度もエラー落ちせず2周出来ました。控えめに言って神です。
・ナイトレース中に地面のコリジョンが一部消えて奈落の底に落ちたり、コリジョンの隙間に引っかかって自車が一撃廃車になる等の致命的なバグがあったのですが、現verでは完璧に修正されました。控えめに言って神です。
・ナイトレースの掛け金が前verではかなり上下が激しく、序盤でいきなり大金を貰えてしまってゲームバランスが崩壊気味でしたが、現verでは良い塩梅に調整されています。

良い点
・前作Street Legal 1: REVision(SL1)と比べて全てのボリュームが増えてる。
・エンジンや足回りパーツの組み合わせの自由度が高く、組み合わせによって性能も激変する為オリジナルの愛車が作れる。
(実車で例えると、K24Aブロック+K20Aヘッドにビッグシングルターボ+NOSをぶち込んで4WD化したCR-Xデルソル、みたいなチキチキマシンが作れる)
・事故ると一撃で自車が廃車になる可能性が高い+ライバルNPCがそこそこ速く、特に資金繰りが厳しい序盤はNPC相手にヌルい走り方が出来ないので、この辺のヒリつく感じが好きな人にはハマる。
・オプションから公式チートや組付け済みのエンジン足回り等フルキットをカタログに追加する等のお楽しみ機能もあるので、クリア後もかなりしゃぶり尽くせる。
・MODがそれなりにある。
残念な点
・日本語版が無い+説明不足な部分が多い為、特に車作りがある程度知識が無いと難しい。
・難易度調整の項目が無い。
(公式チートやMODで無理やり調整する事は可能)
・SL1に比べて車の挙動に癖があるので好き嫌いが分かれる。
・一部のパーツのカーソル判定がシビアな為、付け外しがスムーズに出来ない事が多い。
・リバリー機能が使う気無くなる程に使いづらい。
・進行不能になる程では無いが、細かいバグはまだある。
総評
バグが無く通しで遊べるとめちゃくちゃやり応えのあるゲームなんだなと改めて感じました。
最近の車ゲーをやり尽くしてやる事ねーなって人に是非触れて欲しいタイトルです。
余談ですが、このゲームがsteamにリリースされる以前のバージョンをプレイした事があるのですが、とてもじゃないけどまともに遊べる代物ではありませんでした。
そんな時期を知っているだけに、まともに遊べるようになるまで諦めずにゲームをアプデし続けた開発チームに最大級のリスペクトを送りたいです。

Благодаря этой игре вы либо научитесь собирать машины и заниматься пиксель хантингом, либо дропните через 20 минут. Благодаря этой игре вы научитесь прощать (баги), не относиться серьезно к прогрессу в игре и в целом излечитесь от зависимости от остальных игр. *(в эту играть будете)
Игра топ, детали можно ставить все на машину машинка мнется не по скрипту а по тому как ты где ты стукнул её, короче бимка совмещенная с симулятором автомехника.
UPD С последней обновой за 3.5 часа игры не встретил как их либо проблем - это прям вау.

Jank as hell but bizzarely competent and incredibly ambitious for a bargain bin title, definitely worth the pocket change.

A classic that Invictus abandoned in a relatively unstable state (although "complete" for its time). ImageCode took over, remastered parts of it, and have provided updates to the game since its release on Steam. Even at the end of 2025, they're STILL updating it nearly 10 years after its Steam launch!
If you played the original, this one has some popular mods integrated into it, along with some interface and stability updates that have kept it alive and some car packs available as DLC. Give it a try to support the devs as they continue to work on their spiritual successor: Street Tuning Evolution.

This game is just early 2000s fun! And has recently gotten an update which fixed the stability issues it used to have! Highly reccomend this.
I would love to play SLRR but its just so tedious and you need to put alot of work just to have regular gameplay

Muito divertido. Tive o primeiro contato com mecânica jogando esse jogo. Tem alguns bugs mas nada que comprometa a experiencia. So lembre de fazer um backup do save de vez em quando.
