Es una jugabilidad básica efectuada en el aire. Se resume a la habilidad de impulso hacia arriba y al frenado lateral en base a nuestra velocidad de desplazamiento. Esto se plantea para ir sorteardo los peligros de plataformas y elementos en movimiento que nos obstaculizan y, si se tiene mas paciencia e ilusión, recoger los terrones de azucar y coleccionables. El impulso hacia arriba está medido por una barra que se agota según nuestro tiempo de pulsación, tendremos que practicar un poco para cogerle el buen manejo. Una vez que le cojamos la onda podremos dedicarnos a analizar el escenario para actuar de manera sagaz o intrépida.
Es muy simple en planteamiento y el control, con las cosas claras y niveles cortitos para no rezagarnos. Juega con los tiempos y la habilidad. Se traduce en una dinámica enérgica conllevada por un buen desafío; resulta divertido y de pocas complicaciones y complejidad. Es colorido, agradable y suficientemente intuitivo; presenta buen enfoque y concepto. El juego cada vez va a más. Muy justificado, realmente no se le puede reprochar nada, aunque parece que sufre algún tipo de problema con la sincronización del scroll, pero sólo se percibe al inicio.
Tendremos que llegar al final de cada nivel. Son 40 en total más otros 10 de bonus, y luego dos modos más, uno de 5 niveles de supervivencia y otro de otros 5 niveles de competición.
Los niveles si es cierto que presentan excesiva repetitividad en los elementos jugables y de adorno pero no afecta a su planteamiento de ninguna manera, la jugabilidad está asegurada para tener una experiencia agradable.

The game is fun and challenging without being frustrating. I recommend it. There is nothing that I disliked.
Riders On The Storm
It's a where the f*** do I go kind of game.
But a man,a good one at that.The game doesn't hold your hand,it requires certain level of skill,you need to save often otherwise you'll end up replaying the whole level (20 mins+).It requires playing around with the files to get it running at 1080p as it usually does with old games,but it's not impossible to do.
But the multiplayer...oh my god...It's....AMAZING.
Especially the servers where you've got all the powerups at max and only lightsabers are allowed.You can't just "Mash X" to kill an enemy,you need careful planning,you need to use your powers as well as lightsaber and movement to take down an enemy player.All it takes is 1 lightsaber hit.
If you're expecting something along the lines of "Force unleashed" ,then you'll be dissapointed.On the other hand,if you've played JEDI Academy,and you liked it,you'll enjoy this game as well.

Fun little platformer that works well with both keyboard/mouse and a game controller. All the levels can be completed fairly easily, but also collecting all the bonuses along the way is considerably more challenging. Recommended.

Fun game, not to hard to 100% if you're into that. The game's style is cute and I would describe it as a Super Meat Boy for kiddies. Buy it if you have a boring weekend!
This game is a perfect game for kids. I played this with my 4 year old and my 8 year old and they loved it. It can be tough at times, but most of this game is forgiving. It's a typical platforming game with a cool floating/soaring gimmick attached to it. It takes a bit to get used to, but once you get the hang of it the game itself is pretty simple. The graphics aren't anything to really brag about, but they fit the gameplay. Overall, a great game to play with your kids. If you are an adult, you might lose interest from its simplicity. Even the achievements are simple.
If you like mobile games, but wish they were less mobile, then this game is for you, I guess.
Storm in a Teacup is a nice little platformer with puzzle elements; the levels are short enough to play on coffee breaks, and there's a nice amount of variation in backgrounds, game elements, and throwbacks to classic games like Space Invaders. It runs on a 2D physics engine meaning there's a lot of things bouncing and swinging off of each other; this gets especially interesting in the bonus levels that can turn sideways and upside down. Once you've completed each level, you can try to do it again finding a hidden object and without dying, to get extra rewards (well, achievements).
The downside is that there's only one song in the game, which may get repetitive after awhile. There's no story to speak of, and not a lot of replay value. Still, the game is well worth a shot.
This is a strange little title. It's basically combatless platforming, where the goal is to collect items and reach the goal. In spite of that, it's very relaxing and has some surprising moments. The game is almost like a dream world, where players have to jump and glide in their little tea cup to get through the almost paper cut out worlds. It possesses an almost childlike sense of wonder and glee that many games lack these days.
This game is just plain fun, if you can get past the laid back tone and the unique visual style. It's not addictive, but it is relaxing and does possess a surprising amount of challenging. Nevertheless, I never got stressed out playing this game. In fact, it's actually a great stress reliever. There are some challenge modes in the game for added replay value, but considering the price, the story mode alone would be more than enough.
This is such a cute little awesome game, I highly recommend it!
If Super Mario 3 and Braid had a baby, this game would be it LOL....Dodge the madbro clouds of firey doom, jump over the buzz saws of death, and flying/gliding through death traps...this game is pretty cool. ( ps - don't fall in the lava XD )

Storm In A Teacup ist ein simples Jump 'n' Run, was in erster Linie (und da verlass ich mich auf meine objektive Meinung) für Kinder entwickelt worden ist. Allerdings macht dieses Spiel alleine durch seine Atmosphäre auch älteren Spaß! Eine quietschbunte Welt, die aussieht, als ob man Drogen genommen hätte. Wer also nur was zum Fun für zwischendruch braucht ist hier bestens bedient! ^_^
1 minute in and I realized immediately that the song repeats itself over and over... every stage, the whole time, in a loop of 5-7 seconds... unending. It's so horrible that I couldn't play the game for more than 5 minutes. This is a major failure in the creators part making this game as definitely NOT my cup of tea.
I really dont reccommend this game, it was a waste of money when i bought it, very repetitive gameplay, one whole music track thats just 20 seconds of music looped, and just in general an extremely boring game:/
This game is brillant! It's a simple platformer, all you need to do is use 3 keys. Left, right and jump (so space bar or A on a xbox controller). That's it. Simple; yet great! The game is quite challenging, definitely gave me so frustration but the music throughout the entire game is rather calming to an extent. As much as you get frustrated, you never feel like you want to destory the keyboard or controller. You may get very close to thinking that, but the background music just keeps you sane.
Very cute puzzle platform game, if you're into that sort of thing you should check this game out.
The controls are simple, jump up and move sideways. You collect keys to open 'doors' and interact with items in the levels to achieve the goal of reaching the end of the level.
It's a simple game with a few obsticles which take a big more thinking and precise jumps to figure out, but nothing as intense as super meat boy. It took me about 5 hours to perfect the game.
It seems cool, it seems nice, but it's a trap. It's not close from being a solid platformer. The music is nice, I must say, but the game is deadly short and Storm is not that easy to control. All the nice mechanics are in the bonus levels. There are some cool parts in the game that are hommages to older games.
It's not worth 5$ at all in my humble opinion.

Whimsy! If you're looking to add some whimsy to your life, this is a great choice. If not, this probably won't be your cup of tea (haha). The gameplay is very simple - you're a dude who floats around in a magic teacup collecting sugar cubes and stickers and avoiding obstacles. Obstacles include lava, angry clouds, pits and various pointy things which cause instant death. What I think makes SIT special is that there is a meter that controls your ability to jump/float that rapidly depletes when you press jump but immediately starts to fill when you release it. This means that you can do a variety of midair maneuvers such as changing directions and jumping higher than you would expect. You can customize your little dude with stickers you collect (mostly just color choices, but boy, do I enjoy the different colors of magic teacup trails). There are a few different game modes. Story mode is 40 levels with no unifying theme per cluster of levels and no appreciable increase in difficulty. Some levels sprinkled in are randomly a little more difficult, but nothing frustratingly so. There is some variety as far as grassy level, boat level, underground level but like I said, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to level order. A few levels add wind obstacles or little shooting mini games and I guess this is called story mode because there are a few pictures at the very beginning and there is a quasi boss battle at the end. The 10 bonus levels add a cool new element - blocks that allow you to rotate the level. Survival mode consists of 5 levels of collecting sugar for two minutes while avoiding obstacles. You get an achievement for collecting 30 sugars in each, but I collected 50 in each in only a few tries. Challenge mode is 5 reworked levels that you have already played that have more obstacles thrown in to make them more of a challenge.
Tips & Tricks - So this is the first Steam game that I have unlocked all the achievements on. They are pretty straightforward except for 3. I got the no jump achievement on level 21. (It isn't possible on many of the levels because you cannot reach the goal without jumping unless there are wind boosts on that level). I got the no sugar achievement on level 12. (Again this is not possible on every level because the sugar cubes are often between you and the goal). Lastly, I was stumped at first as to how to get the achievement for perfecting the credits level because the credits did not roll after completing story mode or after completing the bonus levels, although there was a congratulations screen after each. To play the credit level, pick Cobra from the main menu and then click on credits. (Weird).
Bottom line - Whimsy! Fun, not overly challenging but decent challenge if you are going for all the achievements which requires perfects on the levels. A nice little diversion. If you're looking for something low stress and sugar-coated, I definitely recommend this. I picked this up during the summer sale for $0.74, so just keep an eye out during the upcoming fall and winter sales if you are interested.

A fun 2D platformer that provides sufficient challenges to frustrate yet reward the player at the same time.
The game is easy to play bar from one or two of the later levels that see a difficulty spike.
Trying to achieve a perfect score on every level kept me coming back for more, yet it never felt like a chore; more like a fun way to further enjoy the game.
Great for competitive play. Worth the 74 cents I spent on it.

Аркада...посвященная чаю....и поисков к нему кусочков сахара. Странновато, на мой взгляд. В целом игрушка создает впечатление какой-то мимолетности, поиграл - забыл. Все предельно просто и однообразно. Графический дизайн местами привлекателен, но не более того. Уровни подбрасывают реальные испытания для ваших мозгов довольно редко, большая их часть - обычная рутина. Завари себе чаю! 5 из 10 :)
Cute platformer with cute graphics. I don't really understand why they chose a teacup but that's not really important. It took me around 4 hours to get perfect in all the game modes and I had a lot of fun completing all of them. There's really nice and unique level design thoughout the game. For the price of ~4€ I will happily recommend this game.

A very short platformer game. It's not bad, but I wouldn't recommend it. I went through all the levels in approximately 90 minutes. I finished a quarter of them with perfect score, but I don't really see any reason to return to the rest and try to improve. All the same with the bonus levels.
The game itself is pretty decent and the difficulty is quite okay. The physics sometimes behave a little erratically, and/or counterintuitively, but at least the behaviour is consistent, so once you get used to it, it's not a big deal.
Overall, the game is not bad, but I suggest you go and play some Tobe's Vertical Adventure instead.

Not quite worth the money it is, but it's a fun little game!
This isn't really a POSITIVE recommendation. It's more of a "Beware of buying this" recommendation.
First of all, this game is SUPER easy. I'm thinking it was probably developed with 10-13 year olds in mind. As in, if you have a 10-13 year old, they MIGHT find this game challenging (maybe), but you certainly won't. The only way you'll find this even remotely challenging is if your fingers don't work, for some reason, and you're forced to play with your toes and/or tongue.
That being said, it is kind of cute, though. The levels start out super bland, but as you advance through the levels, the puzzles and gameplay turn more and more clever and amusing, although still not any more challenging.
I'm betting a good gamer could finish the whole game in about half an hour. I guess that's why it's only 5 bucks.
I'd suggest getting it if you're extremely bored and have nothing else to do and want a good way to waste half an hour. DO NOT expect a hard game, though.

Super Meat Boy, as imagined by Disney. Don't be deceived by the looks, this game is ruthless.
Storm in a Teacup is an entertaining platformer, which has an atmosphere that is similar to LittleBigPlanet. It is wholely enjoyable, but lacks multiplayer or stat rankings. 100%able in about 4.5 hours. If you have 5 dollars and 4 hours to kill out of sheer boredom, you might just have some fun.
Enjoyable little platformer. If you're looking for a fun little game, this will be good for an hour or two :)
It's cute but really, really casual. I can't play it longer than a few minutes. The graphics are cartoony and cute, and the sound isn't all that spectacular, but it gets the job done. The goal is to guide your character (in a teacup (!)) towards the finish line while trying to collect as many sugarcubes and stickers as you can, and, at the same time, avoid enemies. Like I said, it's casual, but the difficulty ramps a bit up later on.
