One of my very first and most janky VR experiences I ever had.
In my very first match I beat a guy to death with an apple. That match was the peak of the experience.
I also remember enjoying the windowsill grabbing tech this game had.
DO NOT BUY THIS. Go get Exfilzone or if you really hate yourself Ghosts of Tabor. This is a relic from an ancient age.
постоянно сижу в вр играх, и могу с уверенностью сказать "не покупайте", графика очень плохая, враги дальше 100 метров уже столбиками обозначаются, не говоря уже о том что дома в текстурах, и не знал что боты в вр тоже бывают) они на ближних дистанциях легкие, но вот то что видят тебя через пол карты, даже когда ты сидишь в кустах, для человека это в принципе невозможно.

This game was dead four years ago at VR's peak with every match being mostly filled with bots. I would hate to see what it is like now, it was a asset jammed mess with zero heart and hasn't been updated since 2021. If you really need your VR battle royale fix look somewhere else.

I enjoy this game a lot. Everything works well. Its a simple shooter, slow hunt that is forced to be fast. With wonderful game mechanics to push battle with the shrinking damage barrier. It doesnt try to be too much.
Though, i wish they would make the helicopter always spawn in the ready room. Why not let us play with it. Also, for the ready room start we should drop in the map from the sky just being invulnerable while we drop . Make the ready room more fun.

This so called game is a cheap knock-off copy of a battle royal...there is nothing to the map...a couple of houses here and there with maybe 1 or 2 guns to pick up...guns sounds fake...handles badly...dont waste your money this is a poorly made game

I love Raptor Labs. But their games have never once been perfect. Stand Out is no exception. However it’s overall very awesome gameplay and is a crude but seemingly complete version of VR Pub G. Still gets my recommendation because overall it’s great.

J'adore les Battle royal et PVP c'est très addictif Stand Out est vraiment un bon jeu, mais il souffre d'une jouabilité assez médiocre ainsi que de graphisme dépasser surtout quand on voie ce qu'est capable de faire un jeu sous Unreal engine 4 ou 5 c'est pourquoi je ne recommanderai pas ce jeu, mais si vous aimez quand même les BR allez y foncer !

Поиграл немного. Понравилось пробовать жанр пубга в таком виде, реально хорошее погружение, несмотря на ужасный графон, как будто вернулся в детство в 2005гг. Игра выглядит как эксперимент или попытку попробовать технологии ВР, но на игру явно забили, в отличии от того же Into the radius. Если бы разработчики продолжили ее доводить, то могло бы получится что-то реально годное. Подтянуть графику, добавить больше разного оружия, - это минимум на котором надо было остановится... Но попробовать определенно стоит.

I fell for it. awful game. Gameplay is as follows: you get 3 minutes to gather weapons and get shot at. After 3 minutes, the game actually "starts" with you flying to an arena to parachute in to an area with no weapons. To get shot at. Also, they take away the weapons you gathered while waiting for this. I thought I was unlucky the first 3 times, but by the fourth, I think that is the point.

Run motion in this game keeps me pretty fit. Its especially handy in winter when its just too cold to go out.
I also love the fact that its not just a flat out bum rush like so many games but being tactical and stealthy has great effect. This means, in part, a lot of running to get a good position, as well as skirting the barrier, which is more running!
Oh, its not cleanest, nicest looking game in the world, but it comes at a good price, while I consider the fact it keeps me fit to be priceless.

Fun game with lot of features, great interactions with the weapons and such.. But needs a good amount of work, and optimization,, like ALOT of work, Level design is absolutely horrible, hire a designer for this, because it is absolutely terrible!!
However i recommend the game, and hope to see ALOT of updates, because it has great potential.

Жаль, что нет автономного варианта для Oculus. С компа играть не так удобно, но эта игра того стоит.
Есть много сырых моментов: неудобный паркур, нет виртуального приклада в настройках, транспорт управляется просто адово, багает экипировка.

Still my go to for VR Battle Royales! I do like Population One but love the reload and gun mechanics for Stand Out, also love that its constantly full and the devs keep updating it.

Conceptually it has a lot going for it, in that it's a PUBG style game that's playable on VR. I was excited to try this potentially much more immersive experience to a game that I've really enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately, the game feels underdeveloped, mechanically bugged, and abandoned at the same time. I would say that better things are yet to come, but I think this game already peaked sometime ago.
My primary issue with this game is inability to turn properly. Using the Oculus Quest 2, and playing over Steam using Virtual Desktop, I was unable to turn to the right, almost completely, and turning to the left occassionally failed to register as well. I tried using Oculus VR and Steam VR when launching the game. I tried using the default turning and smooth turning, and both gave me the same results. I played a match, and everywhere I needed to go, I turned left, so if I wanted to go 15 degrees to the right, I turned 350 degrees to the left. It was pretty ridiculous. Small adjustments to movement controls on the initial prep screen before battle didn't yield any positive results.
My second big issue is that it seems pretty dead, so there's not really any activity or information out there. When I tried searching the Internet for help with my issue, certain that I wasn't the first to experience it, I found nothing at all. On Steam, I finally found movement issues being discussed (not resolved) under an unrelated discussion topic from 2 years ago. Someone said that when you try to turn right in the game, it only turns 30 degrees to the right, including with smooth turning enabled. They said that they weren't sure when it was going to be fixed, and this is two years ago. Apparently turning issues still haven't been fixed.
Also within Steam discussion, I read that the small team that partially developed this game is responsible for four recent/developing games, and due to those, this one has been moved on from. As far as I can tell, the devs have left the game unplayable, and the players have left it empty.
If the game weren't mechanically challenged, it does also lack some major polish, like for instance, being just floating hands, with no arms attached and no body, but yet the Skyrim mod community took care of this for Skyrim VR, and they are just players making tweaks to the game. How hard can it be for a studio of developers if players can make it happen? When you gather magazines and weapons, you just stick them to the invisible space below your head, and they hang there in mid air. The map feels smaller and barebones compared to PUBG. It is uninteresting in a sense that it's just barebones structures that may or may not have a gun sitting on a desk or a countertop. There's so much potential there, but it doesn't appear that the potential will be tapped into for this particular title. Even if the devs go back to working on it one day, I doubt the players will come back.

Controls are pure garbage. Gameplay mechanics are terrible. I felt like this was the "Wish" version of Roblox with some of the mechanics, but it's in VR. Gunplay is terrible. The scopes are pure trash. If you for some reason raise your left hand while moving you will straff in all sorts of weird directions.
No in game options to change controls. I wasted 10 minutes of my life playing and some time downloading this pile of ♥♥♥♥!

This is my most played game of all times. For a long time I had been disappointed with gaming in general. Although there is so much to choose from, there are just to many flat games about collecting resources or grinding skill trees. As a working man, a lot of games feel like they're grindy work. Then, along came consumer VR and this early gem. The developers have started other projects but they come back to work on this one every once in a while and for me it never gets old. I'm still getting better and find new ways of using the mechanics and I'll keep at it as long as the developers keep their two servers running. I enjoy the non-toxic community of a small but steady player base who feel the same way about this little indie game. Way to go, raptor labs!
this game takes time to master how to move but the experience was worth the money spent. when i got a down while prone and i actually had to be prone was something ive imagined as a child. keep up the good work

A relatively realistic basic Battle Royal. For some reason this is one game I always come back to. It's just fun. Has bots so you never wait more than 5 mins for a games. Definitely some bugs here and there but no show stoppers. Models (esp. houses, terrain, etc) are generic but functional. New maps show up once in a while but not a lot of dev updates going on.

关于一些新手常见问题，简单说说我的经验。
1.觉得画质不够清晰的，可以再Steam VR设置里找→视频→渲染分辨率→自定义→单眼分辨率里设置。按照你电脑硬件水平自行设置。
2.关于操作。我是HTC VIVE手柄。
移动方面：游戏内有四种移动模式。建议打开PRO和CLASSIC这两个模式。左手圆盘方向键按的越外侧跑的越快，靠近中心位置则可以静步移动。举枪口移动会缓慢，和其他FPS游戏一样。
姿态方面：身高设置在STEAM VR的游玩空间中设置（设置手柄高度时，建议抬高5~10厘米左右。这样，游戏内好拾取地上的物品）。人物的站立和蹲伏姿态，取决于头显所在高度。（so……你可以趴地上装死或躲在游戏内的床下装鬼吓人^^）
转向方面：右手圆盘方键左右转方向，可以是平滑转向，也可以是角度转向。（设置在游戏内。建议直接用头转向，要么新手容易眩晕。）
攀爬方面：手柄最上方有个三道杠的按钮，按住可以攀爬梯子、窗户、墙体等等，甚至爬山。
枪械方面：装弹→上膛→瞄准→射击这些大家都懂。主要是枪械的快慢机，在右手圆盘方向键中心位子按一下，就能切换连发和单发这两种模式。
射击方面：双手持枪瞄准射击，枪口才会稳，有利于提高射击精度和压枪。这和现实一样，不解释！以右撇子举例。举枪瞄准时左手记得找好托枪口的前后位子。p90等冲锋枪以及M4等卡宾枪，左手手柄托在右手手柄前面一点点就能双手握枪射击。像狙击枪和AK47这类步枪，则是左手手柄多往前伸一些才能双手握枪射击。（这个掌握好后，你会爱上AWP！！！至于那种双持步枪选手，当我没说~~）
瞄准方面：手抖的脑血栓玩家请注意！高倍镜瞄准时，准星抖得厉害？方法一：练！把手练稳^^ 方法二：在游戏中的设置里找→武器平滑这个选项。向右拉可增强稳定，不过会降低瞄准速度。请自行调试成适合自己的武器平滑度。（这个可以理解成FPS游戏里的鼠标速度。）
背包方面：身体就是背包。你可把物品挂在胸前、背在背后、顶在头顶、夹在裆下。至于什么造型请自行搭配。（可以把核弹挂在胸前，当一把 塔 LI 班 玩家，然后欣赏蘑菇云艺术^…^）
载具方面：驾驶汽车和飞行载具方面，人在载具内部时，左手扳机按住。以按住时的位子为原点，前后左右+上下移动手柄即可驾驶载具。（不是方向键、不是方向键、不是方向键！！！摔死了别找我 ^…^）还有飞行载具能被打坏，毕竟不是坦克！
扔雷方面：手柄两侧的抓握键按一下拿取手雷，拔掉保险插栓后做出抛投手柄的动作时按下扳机键完成抛投。（千万别真的扔出手柄！！！登机前的准备阶段可以拿弹夹或药品等物件来练习抛投。）
3.这游戏会穿模，所以新手请不要躲在墙角，请和墙体保持一定距离。墙外露个腿出来，暴露位置不说，会被外面的人直接送走。（无数次看见新手躲在墙角，露个尾巴出来瑟瑟发抖。笑死咱了！~）
4.关于延迟和掉线问题，我没有碰见过。也许是因为我在国外的原因吧。也不是很远，时区是东九区，只差一小时。国内玩Steam游戏，开加速器这事大家都懂。
5.关于眩晕恶心的问题，刚开始有一部分人确实会产生晕动反应，多适应就好了。如果身体实在适应不了，那就只能去玩光剑了……和这类游戏说拜拜吧……（我发现那些一开始不会晕的人，在玩VR时身体会配合画面一起轻微的倾斜或移动。这也许就是窍门。注意安全，别摔了！~）
6.玻璃心玩家谨慎入场，玩不起也别骂人！这是国际服！请不要丢国人的脸！
总之游戏是好游戏，游戏内的玩家绝大部分都是好同志！鸟语一流的新手玩家可直接在游戏内与国际友人们交流~

That being said, even on sale, this game is not worth it in the least.
Turning is awful, shooting sucks, your character rotates themselves while trying to aim, overall not polished, horrible graphics, textures that seem like they've been stretched for a mile and a half longer than they were meant for, in some spots you can see right through the map, and you walk on water like you're jesus
Stand Out wouldn't even be worth playing if it was free, save yourself the hassle and get Onward or Pavlov, hell even Rec Room and VRchat have better battle royales and they're free for anyone.
