100% Achievements at 84 hours, 90% of that was AFK time. You can get all the achievements by floor 10k and to be honest, I don't see any point in continuing because it's just the same floors/enemies and tactics (except the numbers go up), which is a bit of a shame because all this game needed was MORE dungeons/items/enemies/endgame or even minigames of sorts like other idle type games. All in all it's a good timewaster but it does kinda fall short towards the end, and it really is a shame the dev stopped updating it, ah well.

This game is very charming. It does have it's flaws, the crafting system is kinda pointless, the progression system is weirdly cyclical, however it is still one of the best free incremental games you can play. A note: To those who cross-reference my current playtime with how I discuss the game, know that I have finished it on my phone a few years back, so this is a mix of memory and more immediate experiences.

"Soda Dungeon 2" is a perfect little sequel, sticking to what worked while adding improvements that enhance the experience. The loop will feel familiar, as you hop from dimensions, each time adding 100 levels to conquer, with the same enemies but increased health and damage, which ends in a unique final boss. There are also plenty of familiar patrons, with a few that were replaced or reworked to match the changes.

A few of my favorite improvements and additions:

1) Soda Scripts, which allow you to edit how your patrons fight while on "Auto". I found that I was able to more efficiently cross levels and save resources, and the length of my runs increased significantly.

2) Patrons improve through both leveling AND their class relics; not only do their passive traits increase, but they are given a third trait by Level 25, and their relic is rewarded as the final tier, which then allows for further upgrading.

3) The new patrons are unique, and far more appealing, compared to "Soda Dungeon", where I relied solely on Dark Mages and Healers. Carpenters, Miners, and Huntresses all feel useful, regardless of how difficult the dungeons are getting, and their value will depend on team synergy. A favorite addition is a poison ability that the Nurses now have, allowing for more offense than before. (R.I.P. to smite, though.)

4) Dungeon runs allow for six patrons, rather than the previous five, which is welcome as all of the patrons feel a lot more appealing this time around.

5) The secondary dimension feels a lot more unique and its rewards are attainable earlier on. While it still remixes some of the enemies, there are new enemy designs that leave it feeling fresher than the Lair of Despair. A new mechanic exclusive to this realm is introduced and it is very useful! Finally, teleportation between levels does NOT require essence!

There is so much more to love than just these points, such as the level designs feeling more coherent, or the silly little story, and of course the soundtrack, but hopefully this is enough to voice my opinion.

Собстна усе, поиграл малеха
Начну с малого и закончу малым. Играть в нее стоит, хотя бы ради небольшого сюжетика, и ачивок. Как идлер игра не очень реализована из-за скупой прогрессии, что вцелом делают игру скучноватой в самом начале(А если быть более точным саиков через 20-30 афк игры). Расчитывать поиграть а нее в долгую не приходится из-за перечисленных причин ранее.

Вывод прост-сыграйте, если прям нечего на фон поставить. Как афк игра она отыгрывает неплохо. Хотя и посредственно в рамках жанра(Кхе,жанра). Хотелось бы по традиции сказать, что покупайте по скидке, но она бесплатна. Так что скажу простую вещь: ешьте кашу, тренируйте спорт, качайте нефть, любите маму и папу, и хорошего вам настроения

Soda Dungeon 2 is one of the best sequels to a game I've ever seen. It expands upon what made SD1 so fun, and it also introduces new mechanics that lead to more complex and interesting strategies. For example, you can now create custom scripts for your team, telling them exactly how you want them to fight. While it's confusing to figure out at first, the power of scripts in this game should not be underestimated, and it's absolutely worth figuring them out and how you want to play SD2. SD2 also has a more developed late-game than SD1, as there's more gear and upgrades that you can unlock even after hundreds of hours. It's clear that Armor Games put a lot of love into this sequel, and if you like to play idle games, then you should definitely give this game a try.

🥤 Mon avis sur Soda Dungeon 2
Je voudrais mettre à jour mon avis après avoir passé plus de 100 heures à jouer au jeu (désolé pour ce long message, j'avais beaucoup à dire 😂).

Soda Dungeon 2 possède tout ce que nous avons aimé dans le premier jeu, mais en mieux. Le concept est toujours aussi simple : vous envoyez vos héros explorer des donjons, collecter du butin, améliorer votre taverne et attirer de nouveaux combattants. Voir votre petit village évoluer au fil de vos parties est toujours aussi agréable.

🧗‍♂️ Une progression qui vous tient en haleine

Ce qui m'a vraiment accroché, c'est le sentiment d'avancer constamment. Chaque boss que vous battez et chaque étage que vous gravissez vous rapprochent d'une nouvelle récompense ou d'un adversaire plus coriace. Oui, cela peut parfois être répétitif, surtout lorsque vous explorez la même zone pour affiner votre équipe, mais cela fait partie du charme du jeu. Vous ne vous ennuyez jamais, vous adaptez simplement votre style de jeu.

Le système de dimensions est un vrai plus. Lorsque vous atteignez un certain niveau, vous débloquez un portail vers un nouveau monde avec ses propres défis, tout en conservant certaines améliorations. Cela brise la routine et ravive votre intérêt.

🧪 Des sodas pour constituer votre équipe idéale

J'adore le concept des sodas : chaque boisson que vous achetez attire une classe différente dans votre taverne. Guerrier, mage, voleur, guérisseur... Vous pouvez essayer de nombreuses combinaisons en fonction de vos besoins. Vous devez trouver le bon équilibre dans votre groupe (qui encaisse les coups, qui soigne, qui frappe fort) et c'est ce qui rend le jeu si addictif. Cela vous donne envie d'essayer sans cesse de nouvelles choses.

🤖 Les scripts : la fonctionnalité qui change vraiment la donne

À mon avis, la grande amélioration par rapport au premier jeu est le système de scripts. Vous programmez le comportement de vos personnages : quelle compétence utiliser, sur qui, quand soigner... Cela rend le combat automatique intelligent et très stratégique. Plus besoin de gaspiller des sorts inutiles, vous contrôlez vraiment tout. Cela transforme complètement l'expérience.

🏟️ L'arène pour vous mettre au défi

L'arène propose plusieurs niveaux de difficulté, du mode compétitif au redoutable Boss Rush. Elle est parfaite pour tester vos équipes et affiner vos scripts en dehors de l'aventure principale. C'est un bon moyen de sortir des sentiers battus et de vous lancer des défis personnels.

❗️ Le petit bémol

La seule chose qui m'a parfois un peu agacé, c'est le coût des améliorations des reliques. À certains niveaux, les prix deviennent vraiment élevés et la progression ralentit considérablement. On a l'impression que le jeu suggère subtilement des achats pour accélérer les choses, même si ce n'est clairement pas obligatoire. Cela freine un peu l'élan, mais cela reste tout à fait gérable.

📈 En résumé

Soda Dungeon 2 fait ce qu'une bonne suite doit faire : il conserve l'esprit simple et amusant de l'original tout en ajoutant de la profondeur. La progression est addictive, il y a de nombreux choix stratégiques à faire et l'optimisation de vos scripts est très gratifiante. Même avec quelques ralentissements occasionnels, j'avais toujours envie de jouer « juste un donjon de plus ». Une vraie réussite !

Not the game for everyone, but it might just scratch an itch you didn't know you had. I discovered the first gam in the series on an old amazon kindle that could barely run the web browse, and sunk a bunch of time into it. Fast forward to when I got my own phone and I found the sequel (this game) and sunk even more hours into it! Just an extremely polished experience for what it is, great dialogue, amazing visuals, super catchy music, and just so much charm. I don't know if there will ever be any more updates, but I still come back to this game sometimes for it's unique brand of fun (mostly on the mobile version where all my progress is).

Can be played entirely f2p but id buy something just to support the devs. I like this version because I can run it on my mac which I use for non-gaming time. I only wish it had steam cloud save between macos and windows so I can run it on both my mac and gaming pc on the same save file seamlessly.

In my view, the most enjoyable aspect of the game is enhancing your party's efficiency to advance through the maximum number of floors to collect gold, mythics, and essence. I also found the challenge of optimizing boss rushes to be engaging.
The option to customize specific actions for each party member offers a level of personalization that is seldom found in idle games.

All in all a good sequel with notable improvements, but still grindy and repetitive. It's an idle game so you know it's part of the package. Many paid ones pale in comparison to Soda Dungeon however.

Pros:
* Engaging gameplay loop. You fetch drunkards some soda, equip them with random junk, they bring you money for more soda and more valuable loot. The better your loot, the longer your party can last. Seeing numbers go up is satisfying.

Cons:
* Personally, I find these graphics and sound design painful. It is a toxic, syrupy, greasy kindergarden daub. This game is horrible to look at, gladly you can 100% Soda Dungeon 1&2 while the games are minimized and play themselves.

Eigentlich wollte ich nur kurz gucken, was meine Tavernengäste so treiben, und zack – drei Stunden später starre ich immer noch auf den Bildschirm, während meine verballerten Abenteurer sich mit Limo vollpumpen.

Warum man es lieben muss:

Wirtschaftssimulation für Faule: Du säufst Limo, andere gehen für dich in den Kerker und bringen dir den Loot. Warum ist das echte Leben nicht so?

Grafik: Pixel-Look vom Feinsten. Es sieht so knuffig aus, dass man fast vergisst, dass man gerade hunderte Skelette vermöbelt.

Der Humor: Die Dialoge sind herrlich schräg.

Free-to-Play, wie es sein sollte: Man muss keinen Cent ausgeben, um Spaß zu haben. Man zahlt höchstens mit seiner Freizeit (und vielleicht ein bisschen Schlaf).

Fazit: Wenn du Lust auf ein Spiel hast, das dich nicht stresst, aber deine "Nur noch eine Runde"-Sucht komplett triggert: Hol es dir! Aber sag hinterher nicht, ich hätte dich nicht gewarnt, wenn du plötzlich von Limo-Rezepten träumst.

Второй части как будто чего-то не хватает. Вот ты играешь и понимаешь: ну что-то тут не так. В первой части такого ощущения не было.

Из нового тут система крафта и постройки зданий, но ради системы крафта уменьшили предметы, которые выпадают в подземелье, и сделали их только крафтовыми. Также графику подтянули. Также добавили кредиты, которые начисляют за время не в игре, и за них можно быстро пройти уже пройденные уровни, что полезно для фарма.

А вот нюансов тут стало больше: предметы и их гринд тут куда сильно выражены, чем в первой части. Например, тот же обсидиан, который падает очень редко, а его нужно для некоторых вещей много. Как по мне, крафт тут всё же лишний и сделан только, чтобы был, и уменьшает количество экипировки, которая может выпасть. Вот если б предметов было б раза в 2 больше, то система крафта такой не выглядела бы. Также затягивание игры путём того, что для закрытия игры на 100% придётся дойти до 10к уровня. При этом враги и локации будут одинаковыми, т. к. разнообразие идёт до 100 уровня, а потом уже повторение этих сотых уровней, и это надоедает.

В заключение скажу, что игра не дарит таких же эмоций, как первая часть, и чувствуется как работа, а не средство убийства времени.

I don’t plan on continuing to play after getting all the achievements, because I no longer feel like spending thousands of hours grinding the same game (hi, Summoners War, WoW, and Lost Ark), but I understand those who do.
[b]I definitely recommend playing it...[/b] at least up to the [b]Warrior Dimension![/b] (the start of the “infinite” grind)

No começo eu estranhei um pouco o jogo, mesmo ele sendo muito bom, sair direto do Soda 1 pro 2 foi estranho. Pensei que gostava mais do 1 até mais ou menos a metade desse game aqui, po, esse aqui é bem melhor, muita mecânica a mais. O end game é muito bom, recomendo bastante o game!!

Un gran reconocimiento para la persona encargada de la banda sonora de este juego, es la principal razón por la que me enganché tanto. Hablando más sobre el juego, su apartado visual es muy bonito y el sistema de combate está logrado. No me enojaría si metieran más personajes para añadir al equipo pero ya con lo que hay te garantiza un largo rato de farmeo.

One of the best free-to-play casual RPGs for me. Its pixelised graphics give it a great retro vibe, and the whole soda-themed concept is unique. I definitely recommend it.

If you like a casual game - this is a great one. Has a bit of a comedic story and it's own charm. Can be played if you want to do something else too. Less stressful than other similar games.
Reason I played this game was because I played Soda Dungeon back in the day on New Grounds.

I've played around 500 hours of soda dungeon, the rest was on my phone, back in 2017, I used to leave the game running on my desk, in my last year of school, got addicted, to the unique and loving artstyle, the gameplay got me hooked, I used to post my evolution on the floors on discord, and searched soda dungeon reddit for metas, builds and etc, played soda dungeon 2 on launch finished all the story, all achievements on both games, and all I can say, what an experience, just play it, trully an masterpiece of an mobile/idle game, best one to ever do it !

Its.... well im torn about this one.
Its a working concept and has a progression curve of sorts but... its basically a hardly even gamified gind fest.

The theme is that every time you beat the boss, you reset and +100 levels are added to the game.
This... becomes nonsensical within the first 10 resets where it will take you more than a hour to just do the preparation farms for the given dimension.
The community is basically making scripts and checking the fastest way possible to do everything, down to the skills that use the least frames.

It works and is kinda fun but it grows old VERY quickly.
I recommend the game, but... it cant compete with free titles like unnamed space idle that offers almost unprecedented complexity but respects your time while doing so.
