Визуал и стилистика реально прикольные. Картинка приятная, атмосфера есть, сразу создаётся ощущение, что сейчас будет что-то в духе атмосферного платформера с упором на аккуратный геймплей.
Но дальше всё разваливается. Управление кривое и неточное, персонаж постоянно перелетает куда не надо, из-за чего даже простые прыжки превращаются в рандом. Уровни ощущаются как набор ловушек без нормального баланса, а не честный челлендж. Плюс куча странных решений: неудобное меню, странный респаун, отсутствие нормального объяснения механик.
В итоге ощущение, что сделали красивую картинку, а всё остальное просто собрали на скорую руку. Играть в это не сложно, а раздражающе. Даже за небольшие деньги сомнительная покупка.

Juego de plataformas en 2D excesivamente aburrido y repetitivo.
Dificultad elevada, pero no es debido a un gran desafío sino a la poca visibilidad que ofrece la cámara y al incomodo manejo del personaje.
Físicas, animaciones y gráficos mediocres, encima no se puede jugar en pantalla completa, solo ventana maximizada.
Audio inexistente, música cansina.
Opciones de configuración inexistentes, tampoco permite jugar con mi mando de Play Station 2 mediante adaptador USB.
Historia y cinemáticas inexistentes.
Tutoriales internos prácticamente inútiles, falta información. Los textos a veces se cortan y quedan fuera de la pantalla.
Idioma NO traducido al español.
Interfaz molesta a pesar de ser minimalista.
Guardar partida se realiza de forma automática en ciertos puntos de control, insuficientes y que fallan más que una escopeta de feria.

Despite the visually appealing art and effects, the execution of movements and gameplay was horrible. You only movements are the typical AWSD arrows and the ability to double jump, but the jumping animation feels wonky and unprecise. It feels like when I want to jump a distance, my character ALWAYS goes further than what is intended, which could be a mouse sensitivity issue or FPS lag. This appears to be a consistent issue across others too, who have played this game at least up to the second level. The goal is as simple as completing the level, with the guidance of a ghost. But if you touch any white parts of the map you die - this risk itself isn't a challenge, if it wasn't for the poor controls.
The game just feels borderline unplayable, and I do not suggest playing Sleeping Valley.

Знаете, Sleeping Valley - игра не то чтобы чем-то напоминающая Limbo, это его копия, правда собранная на коленках.
Плюсы:
Точно переданный сеттинг LIMBO

This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

I wouldn't recommend this. I won it in a raffle and thought I'd give it a shot but it's just so broken.
It's a basic platformer, and I do actually like the art style, but the controls are terrible. I automatically runs in windowed mode (which I don't mind), and the controls are the arrow keys to move and space to jump. I had my character get stuck in falling debris more than once, so they didn't "die", but you had to restart the game.
The controls are so "off" that you can't get a feel for how high or far your character will move. I ended up giving up after about 35 minutes of play because it just wasn't satisfying at all. It's a shame, I really wanted to like this game since I grew up on platformers, but now I'm probably just going to idle it for the cards.

Sleeping Valley is a gloomy and straightforward platformer with no story and just plenty of obstacles to avoid.
Controls are a bit sensitive and unpolished, and occasionally do get in the way of a successful run. A drawback, though not one I would say is game-ender.
The main issue for me is the terrible UI, especially upon death. You are likely going to die a lot, but when that happens, the player is met with a game over screen with restart or back to main menu, and it is rather tedious to manually click restart, and worse, the risk of aborting a run due to mistakenly pressing the latter.
Little to no music and sounds are rather dull.
A tad expensive given the rather unpolished content, but then again, there is plenty worse in the Store.
Overall, would have good potential if the execution were not so mediocre.
I cannot give a mixed rating so on my books is a pass, but just by the skin of the teeth.
Get it on a sale or in a bundle. 5/10

This Game Killed My Money
WHY THERE IS NO GOOD CONTROLS
Platform game, controls are not completely calibrated, but it is playable. But there are 2 major factors that make the game bad: First is that you need to constantly change between mouse and keyboard, because the controls in game are keyboard, but menu navigation is mouse. So everytime you die (and it happens quite often) you need to use the mouse to restart. And second, what blocked me from advancing in the game, there is a map, that is supposed to be the water level, and some physics are crazy. There are rocks moving very fast that keeps hiting the protagonist and making him hit the white things that kills us. So basically the only way to advance would be to have luck enough that you are not hit by the rocks, and that did not happened to me.

I am incredibly disappointed with this game. The general level design and aesthetic are nice for a short game. However, there are a couple glaring issues that make this game difficult at times and impossible at others.
The difficult part is the poor platforming physics. If you jump, you cannot alter your momentum except in the opposite and equally forceful direction without landing. This makes some precision jumps very difficult that would normally be feasible in other platformers.
The impossible part is what I and my friend have dubbed "Lightspeed Rocks." During the second world, there are an intense amount of incredibly high speed projectiles. These make it nearly impossible to even start the world as they jettison you into the obstacles surrounding the start area. The only reliable way I have found to complete this world is to go to the top at the very beginning, and bypass the entire world by gliding over the entire top ceiling of the level. It is impossible to complete the world otherwise.
If these two issues were fixed, I could recommend the game, but given how old it is and how long these issues have persisted, I cannot in good conscience recommend it.
It gets old after the first run.

Estamos ante un juego 2D tradicional de resolucion de Puzzles, tiene graficos lindos, sencillos en cierto punto pero nada que no hayamos visto en otras oportunidades.
El personaje es bonito, pero no hay narrativa en el juego y nos cuesta saber mucho que sucede, segun lo escrito en la descripcion, es un Chico gamer que por alguna razon, debe esquivar laseres y obstaculos (los de color blanco te matan) pero los de color negro y gris no.
hay tambien un fantasma que va como guiando al personaje, pero tampoco se entiende muy bien que funcion cumple.
La jugabilidad es ultra basica, tiene un doble salto y usas algunas cosas del ambiente (como piedras) para resolver algunos puzzles.
Hay TUbos-Transportadores que te llevan a otro lado, se hace uso moderado de este recurso.
No tiene musica - Sonidos decentes de jugabilidad.
Hay algunos checkpoints de burbujas/humo blanco, pero se muere mucho, la curva de aprendizaje es decente pero algunos puzzles son bastante dificiles porque requeris un timing muy preciso para pasar en tiempo (como el de los cubos)
Desafortunadamente no pude terminar el juego, no vi nadie que lo haga en videos, a lo mejor quede por la mitad, no lo se.
El juego tiene Cromos, logros, es barato y tiene pocos requisitos de PC, esta algo infravalorado pero las criticas que le hacen son en general algo acertadas.
Si sos fan del genero, compralo, sino es algo dificil de recomendar.

It gets old after the first run.
This game is not perfect, but the developers tried.
Sleeping Valley is a very bad platformers. It does far too many things wrong in addition to being a technical mess. The only thing is has going for it is the art style.
This game is complete garbage. Keyboard controls simply don't allow you to move, and gamepad stick controls don't allow you to move consistently. The game isn't hard because the levels are difficult. It's hard because you can't actually play it. You just create some inputs and wait for luck to be on your side.
Sleeping Valley is a game about a small robot trying to make it from Point A to Point B without dying.
There's no story to this game other than a game where you try to make it to the next checkpoint without dying. You will die if you touch anything that is white. There are saw blades, enemies, electric charges, and areas on the levels that you can't touch or you'll die.
The visuals are a basic black and white scheme with some background images in another color. There's no music, but there are a few sound effects. There's mainly just a humming noise throughout the game.
The biggest issue I have with this game is that the second level is frustrating. When you spawn into the level, you're met with rocks that are flying around the level, which will push you and you'll eventually get slammed into a white object that will kill you. It happens every time you spawn in the level. I usually try to let the rocks fly away before progressing, but I just got fed up with it and didn't care to bother trying the game. Until this is fixed, I highly do not recommend. If it gets fixed, I might try the rest of the game, but honestly, it probably isn't worth it.

Controls aren't good.
Not a very fun platformer. The difficulty in each sections varies wildly with timings either not mattering at all or requiring very precise timings and jumps to get to the next checkpoint.

Modo de jogar Sleeping Valley:
1- Baixe e instale o game;
2- Abra o game;
3- Saia de perto do pc e vá fazer um café, assistir alguma coisa, olhar pela janela, comer alguma coisa, ouvir uma música, passar um telegrama no banheiro.
4- Após 1.3 horas retorne, feche o jogo (vai ser meio difícil, já que o jogo usa 86Mb de Memória RAM, mas consegue travar e lagar até um pc da NASA)
5- Desinstale e avalie negativamente esse negócio horrível.
Игра фиговая. Когда-то купил за 13 рублей по скидке, решил посмотреть её сейчас. Вместо музыки и нормальных звуков просто какой-то шум непонятный, физика в игре такая себе, играть как-то неприятно. Удивительно, что такой игре разработчик увеличил цену в 6-7 раз, она стоила 99 рублей и даже тогда своих денег не стоила.

So, this garbage costs 9,99€ by default.
It all feels like a very bad school project.
This really is just trash and nothing else.

Don't buy this horrible mess of a game.
Trash like this doesn't belong on steam.
This game is really easy because every time you touch a wall your double jump replenishes and you can get out of bounds constantly and you have to do so because one of the levels has rocks flying around at supersonic speed

雰囲気自体は悪くないが、自キャラが死ぬ度にいちいちマウスでRESTARTをクリックさせるという、この手の死にゲーにあるまじき超絶クソ仕様でプレイする気にならない。どうしてそんな仕様にしたのか理解出来ない。チェックポイントから自動的にリスタートならば印象も変わっていたのに。
