简单试玩了一下还可以，和小时候玩的flash小游戏《米拉奇战记》的玩法类似，通过放置士兵、装具载具等双方互拼，但游戏更像是个半成品！
出乎意料的是游戏本身售价并不高，通过游玩掉落的卡牌，完全可以回本，相当于这是个免费的喜加1游戏，玩了一会儿钱包还多了几块钱，而且点数商城的一些表情和背景图也可以考虑
总体下来虽然游戏它就是史，加上没有中文，其他的体验都还可以

An absolute buggy mess of a game. You can't even pause it correctly. Trying to pause will have the audio freak out, and you'll be stuck in an infinite loop of it asking if you want to go back to the main menu. All while your troops are floating in the air, for some reason.

This game isn’t even worth the $0.99 I paid for it. It keeps forcing fullscreen mode, and there’s no way to turn it off mid-game. I only bought it for the background.

"Shadows of War" is an ancient game from 2014. It's a whopping 11 years old at the time of this review. The game lacks support for the typical features of modern gaming PCs, hasn't been modernised or updated to run smoothly on contemporary machines. The game looks and feels dated. Despite this lack of modernisation, it carries a pretty high price tag for such an old game. This seems to have be lingering on Steam with an inflated price to try profit from abandonware.
It's a very bare bones simplistic "I Can't Believe It's Not Adobe Flash" game (slapped together with Construct 2, so almost as bad). It's a soldier attack/defense game, you know the ones, an autobattler where all you do is spam out as many units as you can afford while your opponent (AI, because nobody in their right mind would play this garbage seriously) does the same. The units fight each other and whoever basically has more units wins. It's been done a million times better in browser games and mobile apps, but this 11 year old garbage is here on Steam, and the developer seriously thinks people are going to pay him money for it.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The game features somewhat lazy, simplistic "retro" looking 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just point and click stuff like a browser/Flash game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the Construct 2/Construct 3 game engine/toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur developers as it doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities (it's worse than GameMaker Studio!). Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. "Shadows of War" has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is "Day 1 Complete", for finishing the first mission, trivial to achieve, but less than 10 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch.
So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ games on Steam?
"Shadows of War" is relatively expensive for an abandonware nostalgia gouge, at $2 USD, and it's not worth it. The game is just too old, hasn't been modernised. And as the old saying goes, you can't go home again. Even when it was new, this was never a triple-A game. This is the kind of game that went almost directly from the warehouse into the cheap bargain bins at the front of the shop. Now, on Steam, without any modernisation? This is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.

Das Spiel ist nicht der Rede wert. Während der kurzen Spielzeit traten gleich zwei Fehler auf: Beim speichern bzw. verlassen gab es einen Freeze und meine Missile hing sich auch auf. Das Fadenkreuz blieb an der Stelle stehen, wo ich es platziert hatte. Da war ich dann bedient. Idee, Sound und Optik sind OK, aber ohne größere Bugs sollte ein Spiel schon sein.
This is a popular kind of online strategy game and I thought the modern warfare focus and aesthetics looked promising....I was wrong. Because ultimately if the game is broken you can't really play it.
The game crashed when simply trying to get to the main menu to restart a game. And when I "won" a game instead of it ending my units just disappeared and then 5 seconds later the enemy starts spawning units again.

Terrible abandoned game! Couldn't take ingame screenshots, even with FRAPS. Couldn't select current game version v1.23 on bug report page (only has v1.18 and earlier). Couldn't get Day 3 achievement even after beating the entire short campaign. Graphics and music/sounds are terrible. The silhouettes overlap and make it hard to discern which vehicles/tanks are at a certain location. And forget about playing at normal speed, the infantry on both sides takes forever to meet. In fact, forget about using infantry. Also the game hanged when i wanted to exit to the main menu after finishing the campaign. I wish the dev would come back and fix this buggy game
Edit: Got my Day 3 achievement after resetting my profile and redoing the campaign again :s
P.S.: Don't use the Konami code unless you want to rush through the entire campaign

TLDR: Low ambitions battle royale with spamclicks. Had to force close due to UI dying on me. Multiplayer oriented but concept seems unsuited for multiplay.
When I lost the campaign mission and returned to menu the game just returned a background image with no buttons. I had to force close. Seems to be multiplayer-centric and I dont see this being a very entertaining pvp title.
Sidescroll shadows outlines on pastel color background. Spam click multiple categories for a balanced force. Some special abilities and stuff you can unleash. Gameplay is just not there for me. Not good as a tower defense. Not very good as a clicker and certainly does not feel strategic. Playing this with any seriousness means messing with the fast forward button all the time. Removed for declutter.

For what the game is, I really enjoy it and I was looking forward to completing the game. With that being said, when you get to level 3, which takes about 10 minutes, you literally can not progress. There isn't even a "start mission" button to press! You just sit there and can't do anything.
This is literally a broken game that you can't play and you can't get a majority of the achievements.

I really don't know, I purchased this game just because it was 0.74 euros. It looks pretty nice for a 2D game and it's not boring like any other 2D's for me. The game tends to be buggy, like always, for example winning a battle and then getting back on the menu won't allow you to play the next day. Furthermore, finishing achievements won't even give you the achievements and I don't know why... It is really fun but needs a lot of work. Please fix it.

Игра несомненно не стоит своих денег. Даже со скидкой. Сделана криво на бесплатном движке. Типичная флеш-игра, которая сделана любителем. Да, внимание она хорошо привлекает, но только до первого взгляда лично. Не рекомендую данную игру.
Карточки продал в 2 раза дороже, чем купил игру. Лучший симулятор бизнесмена 2016👍
А что касается самой игры, то за такое колличество багов не игрок должен платить разработчику за игру, а разработчик игроку

A idéia do jogo em si é boa, mas a dificuldade é imensa. Na maioria das vezes seus recursos para se defender são muito baixos e mesmo que você consiga se defender, você fica com divida.
一坨shit一样的游戏，不但毫无游戏乐趣可言，还有一堆可笑的bug，有时候下方屏幕一坨黑，无法看到部队作战画面，小地图大部分时间无法完全显示单位数量位置。
总体而言，游戏的bug对得起游戏的质量，毕竟就是一坨渣渣，就该有渣渣该有的样子，越多的bug越显得游戏渣渣得称职。

Знаете,я не буду писать, что игра плохая и ставить плохую оценку только из-за багов.Нет!Баги в играх - результат не наглости, а недоработки,а иногда баги как-бы выявляются спустя долгое время после релиза(вспомните ту же Гта 5.В ней баги даже добавляли веселья геймплею!).Я же встретил только 1 баг(да и то неуверен,что это баг) - с картой.
Теперь перейдем к игре.Игра неплохой представитель жанра RTS.Она не скучна,в ней много разнообразных юнитов,прохождение занимает довольно продолжительное время.По техническим аспектам тоже все неплохо:модель поведения юнитов довольно реалистичная,оптимизация хорошая.Про графику говорить не буду.Сами знаете почему.На этом у меня все.

Bought this because the trailer looked promising, and I like that kind of genre... Well, that was a bit disappointing:
+It looks good
-it loads сrаpload of time, it could crash at any time, and even if you manage to complete the level, your progress can be wiped :|
-the music work as well as sound work is not very nice
-the gameplay itself is not very fun you just buy units and hope for the best
+steamcards to cover part of the price

This is a side scrolling war game where you can buy Infantry,Vehicles,Aircraft and Support.Graphics wise its OK with things such as Darkness and Rain adding a bit of Diffrence to the maps.In terms of Audio....Its agian DECENT.Now the gameplay itself...the only thing you actually do in this game is buy your units tell them when to start and to stop.then they go and do their thing.This really hampers the fun in the game as its more like a buy unit simulator.No strategy and from what i can tell the units themselves are really not that diffrent.You have basically 1 infantry(Diffrent models) but the others are just Improvements of the infantry same with tanks the vehicles are a bit diffrent some are better vrs Infantry some are better vrs Tanks and so on so on the Aircraft theres not much here but 2 transports a attack Heli and a Jet.I would Really like to Recommend this but i would suggest waiting to see how this game ends up if it gets better with more variety i will most likely change my recommendation as thats what kills this game the lack of variety,how mnay times can you do the same battle with the same units?

画面右からのんびり攻めてくる敵軍を、画面左からのんびり出撃する自軍で叩きのめすゲーム。
アクションゲームではなく、ストラテジーなのでご注意を。
あらかじめ与えられたお金でユニットを生産すると、左端から出撃して死ぬまで敵陣に向かって進撃していく。
敵と遭遇したらその場に停止して射撃。
敵を破壊したらお金がもらえるので、それでまたユニットを生産するという流れ。
キャンペーンでは、いずれかの陣営の資金が枯渇すると決着する。
でもまあ、ストラテジーの割には戦略的な要素があまりなく、強ユニットのスパムや支援砲撃の連射でなんとかなってしまう。
対戦車ヘリを狩るのに戦車が有効など、ユニットの相性もほとんど考慮されていないっぽい。
グラフィックのセンスが非常に良く、100円以下のセールで販売されていたため「これは！」と思ったが、バグも多くどうにもならない。
せめてCPU同士で戦うモードがあれば、環境ソフトとして評価できたのに。

First off, I do genuinely like the game. Secondly, I'd like to point out that the creator of this game is probably one of the most courteous and professional people I've met, especially for an indie game designer.
Even after giving me a refund, he chose to give me a free copy of the game simply because my review pointed out an issue with the game. To top it all off the issue was actually fixed with the latest update.
The game is really good, and the developer is even better.

Что мы имеем? 2D стратегия в реальном времени.
Что это значит? Все просто:
-Нанимаете войска, они сами идут в бой (но можно и управлять)
-Убиваете врагов, получаете за это деньги
-Развиваете армию, становитесь сильнее
-Захватываете флаги, тем самым захватываете территорию
Игра вообще могла бы стать одной из моих любимых игр на ближайшее время, если бы не одно НО:
-Баги.
Игра с таким потенциалом портит все впечатление от количества багов, и судя по другим обзорам, разработчики и не думают ничего исправлять. Например экран может резко улететь влево, и ничем его не остановить, либо нажав на паузу, почти в конце битвы, выйти с нее я уже не смог.
Подобную игру можно было бы выпустить даже на Смартфоны, там любят подобное, но баги... баги испортили все.
И еще одно, если во время боя, "тени" (солдаты) выглядят минималистично и стильно, то вот интерфейс меню и начального экрана просто ужасен.
Надеюсь в будущем, кто нибудь осмелится выпустить нечто подобное на смартфоны, и тогда игру, 100% постигнет успех!
