Simply one of the scariest games I have ever played. Engaging puzzles that don't feel too convoluted, genuinely tense and suspenseful sections with appropriate build-up, gorgeous sound, level design, and detail, diegetic menus and weapon interactions. I could not name a more immersive horror experience.

My only complaints are some sections feel very reliant on the rng surrounding AI spawns and pathing, and that I could do with a longer midsection to the game. Something that would've bridged the gap better between the two almost clearly delineated halves.

There was a jump scare in the back half of the game though that put me off playing for months; it caught me so bad. I can not recommend this game enough to both horror and arthouse fans.

Routine is a fun game, though one with a few flaws. The pacing is uneven, the onboarding is not as good as it should, and the narrative gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weird in the confusing way. But in general I enjoyed it more than I disliked it. It definitely scared the absolute hell out of me on several occasions and the atmosphere was great, Overall a worthwhile experience.

I didn't know about Routine until its release, but I am completely fascinated by it. This game solves a major issue found in many others: the constant HUD overlay. In Routine, everything you need to know comes from the CAT device. There is no screen clutter, which makes me feel deeply immersed in this world of a moon base gone rogue.

I also love the sound design just as much as the visuals. Much like SOMA, sometimes the audio is more important than the imagery. The sound adds suspense and horror to already unsettling scenes, but it also enhances tactical functions. For example, the audio feedback makes using buttons or modules on the CAT device feel tangible. Speaking of which, the CAT device itself is cool; even when crawling through vents, you see the character slamming it against the floor to navigate rather than having it disappear when not needed. Its always in your hands.

The monsters are creative as well. The Mark-5 Robots are creepy but fun to outmaneuver since they aren't very intelligent. Entity-A is also horrifying, with terrifying noises. However, I noticed that sometimes when it chases the player and hits me, it then pauses as if realizing it has hurt someone. This almost made me sympathize with the monster, as if it didn't want to be evil.

Overall, I have loved exploring the limits of this game; the audio-visual design is top-notch. Thank you for creating a title that doesn't just entertain, but makes me think long after I turn off my computer.

Routine is quite simply put, one of the most incredible atmospheres I had the pleasure to experience in a videogame; yes, it's that good.
I have never seen a game in which each and every room is a digital work of art.
The Inspiration from Alien Isolation and 2001 a Space Odyssey is clear, however Routine manages to create something in its own style, bridging the gap between Alien and Aliens, in style and tone.
I'll say nothing more to avoid ruining the surprise, other than the fact the game is more unsettling that proper scary; I'm saying this in case someone'd be on the fence.
I'm no lion heart, and yet I was able to thoroughly enjoy the experience, without being terrified all the time.
Routine truly was a wonderful experience from a developer we should all look at with great interest, moving forward.

Потрясающий хоррор, атмосфера тащит, почти все время я был в напряжении, локации отлично проработаны, враги пугают своим видом и неприятным музыкальным фоном когда они рядом с тобой.
Суперский звуковой дизайн, хорошая оптимизация с отличной графикой, музыки почти нет, сюжетная музыка играет только в важные моменты игры, в остальное время ты слышишь фоновые звуки скрежета металла и работающих механизмов лунной станции.
Геймплей медленный, так как это бродилка с решением головоломок и поисками важных предметов, которые помогут продвигаться по сюжету, из-за этого прохождение игры может у всех разниться, но если сильно не медлить и быстро решать головоломки и спасаться от врагов, то прохождение займет примерно 6-7 часов.
Визуальный стиль выполнен в духе ретро-футуризма, поэтому отлично зайдет фанатам Чужого.
И говоря о Чужом — да, игра очень похожа на Alien: Isolation из-за атмосферы, геймплея и визуального стиля, но по бюджету Рутине конечно не сравниться с Изоляцией, которую разрабатывала большая команда с крупным издателем Sega, тем не менее Рутина вышла очень годной.

в этой игре показали пример того что даже монстры могут быть добрыми но машыны нет потому что роботы они просто хотят получить власть но монстры они чаще всего просто поатя нас людей. одни из монстров в конце игры он просто хотел увидеть свою мать и все. )) хоть игра и короткая но соравно игра евляется лучшим хоррором этого года. для меня, и в конце я чуть не заплакал

Visually-wise there's lots to like, even though the grain filter and the washed up lighting can fatigue your eyes on the long run. What i didn't like, is a lot of wasted potential for a story that doesn't really resolve, an atmospheric tension that could have been employed in 1000 ways, but that in the end goes in the direction of an incredibly slow horror. OH, AND THE PUZZLES. Just unnerving, I hated that I did 95% of each puzzle every time just to get stuck on some stupid detail; it has been so frustrating

I feel like this is one of the best horror games I have played. The closest match is Alien Isolation in terms of gameplay, but I feel this game is far superior. It does not drag, and the pacing felt very good. Also the story is far more interesting in a "what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on" way.

The analogue aesthetic is nice, but what this game really sticks on is analogue horror too. The first half of the game feels like a tighter Alien isolation, which on its own is fun and for a brief moment thought would be the whole game. But the second half is unbelievable in terms of creating a truly unique and terrifying atmosphere. The occasional mild jumpscare is expected, but the best horror moments were just how unsettling some of the video logs and activities.

While I am not sure how much of this is scripted or hard-coded, some of the enemy behaviour is absolutely horrifying in the best possible way. Hiding in corners, seeming to walk away then trying to double back quick enough to catch you, making noises that have no right to worm their way into my head like that. My only point here is that because of that you are going to die a couple times and likely have no idea how something saw you as you figure out behaviour, which if it happens in quick succession can hurt the pacing. But the trade-off is that when you are inching round a corner gazing through the crackling screen of your scanner you know that something could be waiting and could come for you. I am pretty sure that I spent 30 minutes doing this in an area with no enemies because the notes and atmosphere and videos just scared me enough to be that paranoid.

I really liked the story too. It is not straightforward, but that works as part of the analogue horror vibe. Along with the usual analogue horror VHS videos, dithered images and breathy audio logs you have gameplay woven in. It works incredibly well as an unsettling tone poem and gives you enough answers to get broadly what's going on with room to theorise.

Overall, I recommend this strongly. I don't think a game has ever made me feel like that.

ROUTINE — это отлично проработанная атмосфера с красивым визуалом. Игра напрямую не говорит, куда и зачем идти нужно читать и изучать записки и терминалы, и это действительно интересно. Сюжет также раскрывается только через терминалы и записки. Головоломки интересные, и иногда сложно додуматься, куда идти и что делать в итоге. Первая половина игры не страшная, но атмосферная и держит в напряжении, а во второй половине игра уже местами действительно может напугать, при этом всё так же удерживая напряжение.
Итог отличный атмосферный хоррор, который зайдёт тем, кто любит исследование и неспешное погружение.

О-о-очень жирнющая атмосфера законсервированности в бетоне и проводах, отличный звук (даже я, имея трижды среженный слух, отлично прослеживал позицию супостатов, расстояние и сторону, в которой они находились), концентрированная зернистость, и в целом стилизацию, которая напомнила сразу о нескольких других неплохих и отличных игр- Get Even, Kane and Lynch 2, Observer, Soma, Karma TDW. Происходящее одновременно и понятно, а с другой стороны-СПОЦЛЕРСПОЦЛЕРСПОЛЙЕР- зачем мы делаем то, что делаем, не понятно, равно как и затравка на закольцованность происходящего.
Управление сперва неприятно удивило, но быстро поддалось пониманию. Способствует погружению.

Good game, enjoyed the writing and storyline. Graphics look ultra realistic in most areas with the lighting, and then some areas the devs just gave up on like water running and dripping down walls. Overall very worth the money. Lot's of good creepy walk throughs and good old fashioned jump scares. The end really leaves you thinking of how an enemy is created.

Эта игра показала мне, насколько я могу быть тупым и слепым дегенератом с топографическим кретинизмом...

После прохождения решил почитать статьи про разработку, по итогу то игру разрабатывали 3 человека, а звуком занимался сам Мик Гордон, я ещё на финальных титрах увидел его имя и подумал что мне показалось...Идея у них появилась ещё в 2008 году, у челов было много трудных моментов, судя по рассказу, поиск издателя, вкладывание денег, в общем тот ещё квест, но игра вышла и всё у них получилось.

Игра необычная, не затянутая, первое прохождение долгое из-за моей колоссальной тупизны, тут всего 6 глав.

Первая половина шла относительно легко, роботы тупые, их поведение легко предугадать, они время от времени отключались на пару минут, от них легко убежать, но я не привык хорошо думать в экстренных ситуациях, потому в такие моменты были затупки, куда бежать, что делать.

Вторая половина меня прям напрягла, было и сложно и не понятно и стрёмно, монстр случайным образом мог становится невидимым, причём подсказки в игре, что его можно увидеть с помощью ИПК не работают, это какой-то троллинг от разработчиков я так понимаю.

Звук в игре не похвалил только ленивый, я тоже похвалю, звуки ходьбы босых стоп по бетону, стоны, хрипы, дыхание, всё очень круто сделано, было несколько моментов с инсультом жёпы, когда узнал, что монстр может просто сесть в любом месте и ждать, в такие моменты душа в пятки уходит и ты судорожно стучишь по кнопкам, что бы добежать до ближайшего стола, а этот чёрт бежит то как квадробер, то как бабка из гта, честно, порой я специально его провоцировал, что бы побегать)

Уровень на луне короткий, но сделан отлично, атмосферно, слышен только глухой звук твоего дыхания, всё остальное кромешная тишина, завораживает! Жаль побегать по луне нормально не дали.

В игре нет никакой навигации, нет карты, интерфейса тоже нет, и это прикольно, переключать режимы своего ИПК во время побега так же необычно, врагов можно только станить ненадолго.

Т.к. я глупенький, то сразу побежал на ютуб для осмысления концовки.

В общем мы имеем многострадальный тайтл, над которым трудились 3 человека, и получился он очень сносным, в какой то степени хардкорным, с отличным звуком, графикой и мощной атмосферой безнадёги, правда я бы хотел более внятного и проработанного сюжета, ну или хотя бы более информативные записки и звуковые записи, а так, опыт в других играх помог мне более менее разобраться в сюжете, благо можно потом на ютубе подкрепить свои догадки и подчерпнуть что то ещё.

Хотелось бы увидеть другие проекты от этих ребят.

Je recommande fortement ! Excellent jeu d’horreur ! Le sound design est excellent, tous les bruits sont réalistes et ça rend l’ambiance vraiment oppressante. Les graphismes sont photoréalistes, c’est très réussi.

Le jeu commence direct : on se réveille au milieu de nulle part dans une base lunaire abandonnée, sans aucune explication. Et surtout, il n’y a aucun HUD, aucune indication à l’écran. On est vraiment livré à nous-mêmes.

Par contre, j’ai beaucoup aimé cette mécanique d’être lâché dans un univers sans repères, où le seul moyen de comprendre ce qu’il s’est passé, où on est et quoi faire, c’est de chercher : fouiller les ordinateurs, lire les documents qui traînent, explorer. Rien n’est donné, on doit se débrouiller pour trouver son chemin.

La mécanique de devoir se renseigner tout seul et réfléchir pour réparer des problèmes techniques afin de progresser est excellente aussi, et c’est vraiment satisfaisant comme mécanique d’énigme à résoudre, surtout quand l’anomalie est dans le coin et qu’on doit faire tout ça sous pression en même temps.

Et le module, cette sorte de pistolet avec plusieurs fonctionnalités : au début on peut penser que c’est juste un gadget, mais en réalité l’utiliser est vraiment cool et ça s’intègre parfaitement dans la logique du gameplay.

I went into this thinking System Shock 2 vibes but turns out it is more like Portal puzzle vibes. A little game with a curious aesthetic and i'll be honest. This does feel like a long tech demo with a few strange glitches. Go into this thinking less about RPG gameplay, and more about puzzle game with jump scares, and you will enjoy yourself.

A very good first person horror game, short to medium length (it took me 6 hours to complete it)

The ambiance and story are the main qualities of this game. If you are looking to re-live the Alien Isolation experience (as I did), then this game will satisfy you entirely. The gameplay and graphics were a bit odd at first for me but once you get used to it, it becomes a very enjoyable and scary experience

I have to say that some puzzles and monsters are not easy to beat, to the point that I almost stopped playing at one point (chapter 4). But it's worth getting through it to conclude this immersive, dreamlike story

ROUTINE é com certeza sucessor digno de Alien Isolation junto com Amnesia: The Bunker, a atmosfera desse jogo é SENSACIONAL, simplesmente magnífica, tudo nesse jogo consegue te deixar nervoso e tenso, você nunca vai se sentir seguro. O jogo no início pode parecer lento e não tão assustador quanto eu digo, mas a segunda metade do jogo (que você deve alcançar em umas 1 ou 2 horas no máximo) é que o jogo começa a ter terror de VERDADE, então aproveite ;)
Minhas únicas reclamações são sobre a duração do jogo e Fator Replay dele , zerei o jogo em apenas 4 horas e não há nada mais o que fazer, o jogo tem pouquíssimas coisas opcionais, e é muito provável que caso você jogue consiga platinar ele na primeira jogada.
Dito isso, ROUTINE é um jogo incrível que cumpre bem o seu papel de assustar o jogador.
Obs: Evitei citar a história porque não quero dar SPOILER e também porque não sei ao certo se entendi ela muito bem.

I think this game is cool up to a point. When I hit that point I was like you want me to do what. I ended up rolling my eyes and closing the game. I normally don't have a problem with puzzles or chasing things down but when it is excessive I'm normally out. I do enjoy that this game actually requires me to read and understand things. You can see how my feelings are a little conflicted. How can you like non-hand-holdy stuff but be annoyed by 'fetch' quests in a confusing room.

Routine hints at a bigger game that is much better and cooler than the game you're actually playing. Leaving a sense of dissatisfaction and wanting.

I wish this game was $20 more, and 2 times longer with more content and improved/more intermeshed gameplay mechanics. The manual stuff is awesome, the visuals, and sound design especially, are amazing, the narrative is really intruiging and well presented. and the horror (as long as you don't figure out you can just run everywhere) is scary.

But it's all cut fairly short. The manual tool use plays no part in the gameplay for the most part, amounting to glorified key pressing. The resources are so abundant that you can treat the game like a run and gun shooter, killing any sense of threat. The final enemy is unpolished and appears broken, even when working as intended [spoilers]it can turn invisible but usually just looks like pop in[/spoilers] (and that's when it isn't broken). The map keeps tricking you into thinking there'll be more monster encounters and that eventually there'll be no safe areas only for you to realise that just exsists to put you on edge and there's never gonna be a point where you can't just find a safe spot or a vent and chill. To top it all off, it's an incredibly generic narrative that you can get just as good (if not better) experience of free itch.io games. It's shame too, as it has so many good story ideas that it almost executes on interestingly only to fall flat by ironically not revealing enough. I wanted to see so much more but unfortunately there just wasn't very much there to begin with.

It's a shame too, the puzzels are quite hard due to requiring a sort of attentiveness that requires legitmate thought and careful exploration on the players part. But at the same time, it requires thinking which takes you out of the experience because you have to identify interactables that look like props in a very non interactive environment, leading you to think about what the devs want RATHER than the world your immersed in.

Routine looked like it was going to be this, or that. But it ended being a fancy looking itch.io game for $35. And the thing that sucks the most is that if it had more gameplay depth and unique environments and creatures (and prehaps something at the end of it that was more legitimately disturbing) it would be incredible. I wish this dev team was expanded and had more resources to work with, honestly I wish they could've been able to execute on the original concept of exploring a space station rather than train track narrative fancy itch game. At the very least, I wish there was more of what they went with and there wasn't.

I'm glad I paid them for their hard work, but the game leaves a lot to be desired even on it's own terms... Still a good game if you have expendable money tho...

O que era para ser algo de ROTINA se torna algo completamente aterrorizante. Aqui temos uma atmosfera impecável, uma estética linda e bons gráficos, além de um ótimo sound design que deixa tudo mais denso, até o simples som de passos já causa tensão.

A história é um ótimo exemplo de terror espacial, do jeito que eu gosto. A narrativa te coloca como alguém investigando algo que já aconteceu, juntando pistas e entendendo aos poucos os eventos. Ao mesmo tempo, você está presente naquele ambiente, vivendo as consequências de tudo isso. Isso torna a experiência muito mais intrigante, porque a curiosidade de descobrir o que aconteceu e onde tudo isso vai dar só aumenta.

Eu gostei de muitas coisas nesse jogo. Os puzzles são bons e fazem você pensar, mas teve momentos em que não achei tão intuitivo saber para onde ir. Às vezes parecia que o verdadeiro puzzle era descobrir o caminho certo.

Minha única reclamação fica para a iluminação, senti muita falta de uma lanterna em vários momentos.

Хорошая, но роботы насилуют, попасть по ним сложно, поэтому притворялся куском мусора, потом нападает голый здоровый мужик, который хочет протереть тобой пол ибо не коже распространять грязь, правда он почему-то плачет от нас, сюжет не очень, но заслуживает 10 лунтиков из 5. Возможно в конце мы становимся беременным лунтиком (но это не точно).

А вообще за полную цену ее брать вообще не стоит, очень однообразно, тупо бегаешь из стороны в сторону и все, страх быстро проходит, батарейки разбросаны везде, переодически можно затупить куда идти, в сердцевину роботов попасть сложно, пистолетик в руках у героя трясется так, как будто эпилепсия, правда не понятно у кого, после удара персонаж встаёт очень медленно, правда и роботы медленно бегают, бывало что даже просто роботы переставали бежать за мной, сюжет абсолютно не внятный, ничего особо не понятно, да есть записки и видео, но они не очень помогают. Во второй половине игры ты уже бегаешь не от роботов а от мужика(?), он пугает переодически, но он так громко орет, что сразу понятно где он, переодически это пугает. Звуки в это игре с графикой вытягивают все, прям чувствуешь это запустение и что кто-то есть.

Атмосфера берет свое. Исследовать локации очень интересно, игра очень красивая. Порой очень крипово и некомфортно ощущается но в этом и кайф.
Еще могу сказать, что чуть душновато в середине игры было, но как проходишь этот участок, то становится привычно и интересно играть дальше.

ROUTINE is like if you mashed Dead Space, Alien Isolation and FNaF together into one game.

After having beaten the campaign, I think I've come to a pretty comprehensive understanding of how people judge it. Starting off with how I personally feel, I think this is the scariest game I've played in recent memory. Genuinely. This game is actually horrifying. It made me scream, sweat bullets, and it wracked me with dread. There are moments where the game calms down- where there aren't any present threats- but honestly, I never stopped being afraid. This game is exceptional at making you feel uneasy even when nothing is happening to directly threaten your life. The graphics are outstanding, the art direction is spectacular, the sound design is on point and the story is engaging and intriguing while almost never handing anything to you on a silver platter.

All that said, of course, I have problems with it. It doesn't hold your hand at ALL, which on one hand I appreciate and admire a lot. It feels extremely organic just figuring things out on your own. On the other hand, I think more guidance would have been GREATLY appreciated. This game has no map. Ever. Genuinely. They never provide you with a single map of any of the areas you explore, which is completely ridiculous. I would've been fine with a map just posted on the wall, but literally NOTHING? NO map? EVER? I cannot believe they chose not to give you a map, because I got lost, I got confused, I wandered aimlessly, all the while active threats ate away at my composure, patience and sanity, and even though I was scared the whole time, my point still stands that really, you shouldn't be this directionless in a game entirely about reaching your next objective.

But to be completely real? That's my only qualm with this game. I genuinely love it. It's not an all-time great, but it's stuck with me. I think most peoples' issue with this game stems from them just not liking stealth horror, which is fair, but is it really a criticism of the game itself when your issues with it are on a fundamental level- when you literally just do not like the genre it belongs to? Of course, I could be completely wrong about this, but my point is, if you LIKE getting so scared you scream and cry and pee your pants and you're fine being patient and waiting for enemies to pass you by, you'll like this game. Very solid eight or nine out of ten in my book.

Some games are games you play because you like the genre or the artstyle. Some you play because you hate yourself. Others are a piece of art waiting to be experienced, and this is one of those titles. Well paced, does top-tier GFX cards justice, the sound scape is eerie and there are throwbacks to other classics in the spacehorror genre. The game is scary without the cheese of jump-scares. If you are a fan of the original System-Shock II, Dead Space or 2001: A Space Odyssey, this should find a place in your collection.

Genuinely good horror game that puts you on edge. The more you play, the game gradually gets less scary but keeps the tension, until the latter half of the game where it brings both knobs to 11. Incredibly fantastic art design, well written story and lore pieces, a genuine blast to play through. Definitely recommended for those who enjoy either the Resident evil remakes, Outlast fans, and certainly Alien Isolation fans. 9/10.

Отличная игра, я люблю такие бродилки, отличная графика, отличная оптимизация, на моём старом железе i7 3700к с видеокартой asus 2080, всё выкручено на ультро, в 2К разрешении с вкл вертикальной синхронизацией, и вкл DLSS на качество , игра выдаёт стабильные 60 фпс без просадок, за оптимизацию 10 из 10 . Звук шикарный, атмосфера чувствуется, однозначно лайк.

想来想去还是给了不推荐，总的来说还是食之无味。全程就是在一个全是门的地方来回找钥匙，然后地图里放几个傻傻的僵尸（弱化版暴君）。
可能是我比较看重代入感，游戏剧情难以让我共情，流程看了开头猜到结尾，虽然美术和氛围营造的还不错吧，但缺乏爆点，费了半天劲找到的谜底和自己猜的大差不差。热情就这样随着游玩逐渐消耗，最后就毫无感觉了，可以说高开低走。

This game was incredible. I wish I could forget it all so I could play through it blind again. I waited over a decade for this and I will honestly say, I'm glad I waited and watched. As a mega fan of space and horror mutually, this game actually held me on the edge of my friggin seat the WHOLE time. Most games nowadays don't even get a heartrate rise out of me, but I actually needed to take a sanity break between the 2 labs sections.

What I liked about it:
The gameplay mechanics are so uniquely well put together. Under any normal circumstance, I would complain about how exact you need to be with the CAT, but the fact that you need to only makes it more immersive. I would not be able to functionally swap between modes if I were looking at what our character was. The save points and terminals are seamless and every sound makes you want to look behind you, which the audio does justice for the antagonists constantly. I never thought I'd be snuck up on by a 6'3 robot, but when the clanking of the hull masks the footsteps, you happen to turn around and realize you're being followed. The threat feels real and the idea that you can fight back is a false security. You FEEL like you can, until your CAT has low battery, and suddenly you feel helpless. Drain the battery and lose all utility until you find more- or try to outrun the threat. Neither option feels right in the moment. What I also like is the very minimal assistance for telling you what to do. There's no compass or HUD, no "Hey, go this way" or "Don't forget this!" It's all on you to get things done and learn what's happening around you. Mild spoiler, but I never thought I'd see a chemistry puzzle in Horror, but nothing is impossible.

As an honest review, though, nothing is perfect and I don't hold any of these against you, Lunar, because all in all- the game is by far my favorite for the genre. Just a few tidbits for notes.
I was incredibly confused by the switch halfway through, which made it feel like 2 entirely different stories being told. The ending was interesting and liked it, but it felt a bit plot-lost compared to the rest of the stories, adding a third to the mix.
I also was disappointed that it seemed like utilities for the CAT were made useless almost as soon as you got the next. [SPOILER] [The instant the ASN is shut down and the second act begins, the utility laser of the CAT is just a dead-space module. It no longer serves any utility for the rest of the game, which feels like missed opportunity. Another example of missed opportunity is the lack of computer integration with the CAT that was cut between the trailers and launch. There were multiple chances for a CAT diagnostics or waiting for a system reboot that could have built tension or held players back, but was scrapped for whatever reason.]

All in all, for a Horror Game: 10/10 without a doubt. It was incredibly fun and awful (In a "I need to take a step outside and catch my breath" kind of way)

As a whole, 7/10 only for a few missed opportunities and story cohesion

Do I recommend my friends to play it? Abso-f$@%ing-lutely I do.

Short, tight, and incredibly atmospheric. Routine's mechanics are limited but satisfying, with the C.A.T. acting as the sole method for interacting with the environment beyond simply hitting buttons and the like. The horror/stealth elements of Routine are nothing special and not terrible, but certainly not the selling point - they mostly serve to keep the player cautious and tense and prevent Routine from becoming a full walking simulator. Overall if you like story and atmosphere this game is worth a run through, but don't expect anything groundbreaking in terms of gameplay.

Gostei do jogo. O estilo artístico é impecável, muito bonito mesmo. Os puzzles são bons, a trilha sonora e a ambientação também são maravilhosas.

As entidades deixam a desejar. Não dão muito medo, são bem burras e fáceis de enganar, fora que dá pra despistar qualquer uma só ficando debaixo de uma mesa ou virando algumas curvas, mesmo elas observando o jogador fazer isso.

ROUTINE is a short, basic horror game. Story is decent, and the environment is outstanding. Everything looks, sounds, and runs great. The game truly is short. I took about 8hr to finish it beginning to end with 100% achievements. (Not hard, only missed one because I never shot the robots lol)

The game can be tense. Not so much for the first half. But once you encounter "Entity A", it reminded me of alien isolation.

I really liked the interactions with the cosmonaut tool (CAT). It was satisfying to use that thing throughout the game. It was intuitive how you interact with the tool to turn if on/off, degauss, connect, and change modules.

I'd recommend you try to listen to every audio-log, read every diary, review emails, and watch all the media on the terminals. The game is short, so this will let you know some more about the story.

I do wish there were more things to do. I was hoping for some kind of collectibles, easter eggs, etc. But there's not much. I also was scanning with the blacklight function over EVERYTHING. There wasn't much to find except some drawings in the later chapters, bodily fluids (blood prolly), and some arrows pointing to a terminal or lockbox that I could already plainly see lol.

Overall, great game. $25 is a fair price for 8hr of entertainment. I will say, I am a horror game buff, and the later chapters had me taking some breaks. "Entity A" will sometimes just sit still in an unnatural stance so you won't see it at first. And the pause doesn't actually stop the game. Alt+F4'd this game a few times.

Bueno, como muchos me subi al carrito del hype desde hace aprox. unos 6 años, creo que ya llevaba mucho mas en desarrollo este juego, y he de decir que valio la pena la espera.
El juego se siente bastante solido, las mecanicas son bastante interesantes y la atmosfera se siente opresiva como un juego de miedo deberia ser.
No me tope con un solo bug y aunque al final yo en lo particular no entendi un pepino la historia, se siente interesante; esperemos que haya una segunda parte ya en desarrollo.
Pero fuera de todo, me alegra saber que un juego que quienes muchos esperaron por tanto tiempo haya dado buen fruto y tenga buena recepcion, se lo merecen estos muchachos de Lunar Software.

I am usually not a big fan of these horror walking simulators, but after finishing Routine, I was astonished by how the photorealistic graphics supported the game's atmosphere.

Just keep in mind that this visual style isn't for everyone. To achieve maximum realism, the developers removed the UI entirely and added strong blur, chromatic aberration, and clunky aiming. Even the in-game displays are blurry with a realistic input delay. Still I personally loved it.

Gameplay-wise, besides exploring the lunar station, Routine mostly revolves around finding secrets. Some are a bit difficult to uncover, but they always felt logical. You really need to analyze your surroundings and check anything that seems odd if you want to progress. My only major issue was the combat. These encounters weren't really a challenge and could have been better in my opinion.

The horror itself was solid, providing a nice mix of constant tension and well-placed jump scares.

All in all, if you want to experience a game that pushes ultra-realistic graphics through clever lighting and filtering, Routine is a great pick.
