Thats because its impossible to get the third star for completing all objectives on the Ice peak mission - even after completing all the optional objectives.

Le gameplay est extrêmement basique. Pour un jeu sorti en 2020, ce n’est pourtant pas si vieux, mais il a déjà très mal vieilli. On reste sur une boucle de jeu très répétitive, avec très peu d’idées nouvelles.

Aujourd’hui, on trouve des jeux gratuits sur téléphone portable qui offrent plus de profondeur et de variété que ce titre. Il n’y a pas grand-chose à dire : les mécaniques sont simples, peu développées, et le contenu ne se renouvelle presque pas.

Gameplay

The gameplay is extremely basic. For a game released in 2020 — not that long ago — it has aged surprisingly poorly. The loop is repetitive, with very few new ideas. You can easily find free mobile games today that offer more depth and variety than this title. There isn’t much to say: the mechanics are simple, underdeveloped, and the content barely evolves.

Graphismes / Graphics

Je suis quelqu’un de très tolérant sur les graphismes et je privilégie toujours le gameplay avant tout. Mais ici, visuellement, c’est vraiment pauvre. Le jeu paraît basique, il y a très peu d’animations, et l’ensemble manque de vie et de personnalité. Ce n’est pas moche, mais c’est extrêmement limité.

Graphics

I’m very tolerant when it comes to graphics, and I always value gameplay first. But here, visually, it’s really bare. The game looks basic, with very few animations, and the overall presentation lacks life and personality. It’s not ugly, but it’s extremely limited.

La bande sonore est sympathique. Elle a une ambiance médiévale assez enjouée que j’ai trouvée agréable. Je n’ai pas joué assez longtemps pour savoir si la même boucle tourne en permanence, donc je n’ai pas un avis complet, mais ce que j’ai entendu était plaisant.

Sound and Music

The soundtrack is pleasant. It has a cheerful medieval vibe that I enjoyed. I didn’t play long enough to know if the same loop keeps repeating, so I can’t give a full opinion, but what I heard was enjoyable.

Le contenu est très pauvre, et la progression est extrêmement guidée. On sent vite que le jeu n’a pas été pensé pour évoluer. Je serais plus indulgent si le jeu avait reçu des mises à jour ou si le développeur avait continué à suivre son projet. Mais il n’y a eu aucune amélioration, aucun suivi, aucune communication. C’est un projet one-shot dont on n’a plus jamais entendu parler, et ça se ressent dans l’expérience.

The content is very limited, and the progression feels extremely guided. You quickly notice that the game wasn’t designed to grow. I would be more forgiving if it had received updates or if the developer had continued supporting it. But there were no improvements, no updates, no communication. It’s a one-shot project that was abandoned, and it shows.

Vu la simplicité graphique du jeu, heureusement qu’il n’y a pas eu de bugs. Mais mon temps de jeu est trop court pour avoir un avis définitif sur la stabilité à long terme. En tout cas, rien à signaler — mais ce n’est pas une prouesse non plus, vu la simplicité du titre.

Given how simple the graphics are, it’s no surprise that I didn’t encounter any bugs. My playtime is too short to judge long-term stability, but nothing noteworthy happened. Still, considering how basic the game is, that’s not exactly an achievement.

Rapport qualité-prix / Value for Money

Le jeu coûte environ 3,30 €. C’est déjà trop. Même en réduction à 65 centimes, ça reste cher pour ce que c’est. Honnêtement, ce jeu devrait être gratuit. On trouve des alternatives gratuites sur mobile, souvent mieux faites et plus complètes. Le rapport qualité-prix est donc très mauvais.

Value for Money

The game costs around €3.30. That’s already too much. Even at €0.65 on sale, it still feels overpriced. Honestly, this game should be free. There are free mobile games that are better made and offer more content. The value for money is very poor.

Verdict / Verdict

Je ne recommande pas ce jeu. Si tu as l’occasion d’y jouer gratuitement et que tu t’ennuies vraiment, pourquoi pas. Mais il existe tellement d’alternatives plus amusantes, plus complètes et mieux conçues que je ne vois pas de raison de choisir celui-ci. Il n’a rien de réellement marquant et il n’offre pas assez de contenu pour justifier même un petit prix.

Verdict

I do not recommend this game. If you can play it for free and you’re really bored, maybe give it a try. But there are so many better, more entertaining, and more polished alternatives that I don’t see any reason to choose this one. It offers nothing memorable and not enough content to justify even a small price.

[h1]С виду игра может напомнить те недоработанные копипастно плодящиеся телефонные игры про защиту “королевства” ночью, но эта игра не про фарм/донат, и даже может называться стратегией[/h1]

[h1]Геймплей[/h1]
Стратегия в реальном времени с 8-ю миссиями, где основной целью является удержание нескольких волн, но ещё могут дать побегать небольшим отрядом. Помимо 8-ми миссий есть выживание, но это не бесконечный режим, выживание правильнее назвать 9-ой миссией. Есть 5 ресурсов: еда бесконечно добывается с полей, которые ставятся одновременно с мельницей на траве строго по диагоналям, дерево бесконечно добывается лесопилками, которые можно ставить только в нескольких указанных на карте местах, камень бесконечно добывается каменоломнями, которые тоже можно ставить только в нескольких указанных на карте местах, золото бесконечно приносят дома, а население дома добавляют в определённом количестве. Помимо армии население используют здания и атакующие башни. У игрока единственная фракция с 6-ю юнитами и 3-мя боевыми башнями. У юнитов в бою есть улучшения за ресурсы, типа открытие лечения у паладина (он лечит сам) или отскакивающей глефы у ассасина. Замок и фонтаны бесконечно дают очки исследований, которые позволяют выбрать фиксированные исследования на каждом уровне, типа временного фиксированного ускорения атаки лучниц после каждой их атаки. Улучшения и исследования не сохраняются после миссии. Большинство врагов спавнится за картой, но могут быть ещё и разрушаемые пещеры, из которых каждую ночь выходят враги. Ночью нежить усиливается, так что надо строить факелы, костры и сигнальные огни. Помимо нежити на карте есть “нейтральные” (нейтральные только для нежити) войска, которые охраняют связки с ресурсами. Строить можно неподалёку от своих зданий и захваченных флагов. Ограничение на количество зданий я не увидел, население у меня доходило до чуть более 200 (юниты используют 1-2 ед. населения, а атакующие башни 2-5). Карты небольшие.

[b]+ [u]Набор врагов[/u][/b] Помимо обычных зомби ближнего и дальнего боя есть враги с мощной атакой по области, которая может быть как в дальнем бою, так и при рывке/уничтожении, и из-за которой приходится контролировать свои войска, а не просто посылать всех через атаку.

[h1]Не понравилось:[/h1]
[b]- [u]Не указаны характеристики[/u][/b] Стратегия, а ни у кого ничего не указано. Неприятно так делать эффективную армию/защиту.
[b]- [u]Нет сетки[/u][/b] Здания ставятся по невидимой сетке, очень неудобно ставить максимальное количество мельниц, подолгу водя ими вокруг травы. С виду на траве хватает места для поля, но нет;
[b]- [u]Нет ускорения[/u][/b] Нельзя ускорить игру, нельзя заранее выпустить следующую волну. Несколько раз было просто нечего делать в ожидании волны;
[b]- [u]Нет сохранения в бою[/u][/b] Последняя миссия и режим выживания играются в районе часа, и во время их прохождения вполне можно проиграть, если расслабиться. Придётся эти миссии переигрывать с 0;
[b]- [u]Косяки[/u][/b] Исследование увеличивающее количество жильцов в домах и обеспечивающее их едой, не обеспечивает жильцов едой. Улучшенный дом значительно дороже обычного, но приносит меньше золота на жильца, и расходует больше дерева на жильца. Есть дешёвое улучшение, которое полностью открывает карту и убирает туман войны, что как-то нечестно. Говорят, что если до последней волны уничтожить последнюю пещеру в выживании, то волна зависнет, но я не рискнул проверить.

Played for about 5 minutes, got bored pretty quick. Picked up the game for super cheap so I'm not really upset. I think the problem for me is the art style. It kinda feels like it was drawn by a middle schooler and that's kinda hard for me to get past. I don't say this to be mean or disrespectful in any way, and I'm sure some people find the artwork enjoyable, I just didn't. Anyway, my interest dropped pretty quick and maybe I'll try it again some day but for now, this one is sitting in a box in the basement.

Surprisingly good! A short and nice RTS. Perfect for beginners to the genre (like me) since a lot of the resource managament is simplified. You'll eventually want to try something bigger but this is a perfect starting point to learn the basics. There's also higher difficulties available but I can't really comment on them because I suck lol.

It's a good enough little game, think of a blend between an RTS and a tower defence. The goal is to survive x/x waves of undead. There are 8 levels following a pretty basic story giving context to the game, there is also a survival mode. However, the survival mode seemingly only has the 1 map at the moment, so replayability is limited. Expect a difficulty spike in the later levels on hard mode. Lack of an option to 'save' during a game is frustrating, so make sure you have enough time to finish a level before you start.

TL;DR, It's serviceable and entertained me, get it on sale for a few bucks, play a match and if it's not for you, return it.

Варкрафт на минималках. Миленько, бодренько и интересно, а за минимальный ценник так и вовсе привлекательно. Последние уровни делают вызов твоим навыкам (ну лично мне).
Есть 8 уровней, где по сути надо пережить волны нежити, за прохождение дают 1 звезду, за выполнение всех доп.заданий ещё накидывают, а если прошёл на максимальной сложности, коих здесь 3 (от них зависит вид нейтральных монстров и количество нежити в волне), то на тебе все 3 звезды.

Отличная маленькая ламповая РТСка! Кайфово провёл время, добыл все достижения. Пару заданий на харде были достаточно сложными и не сразу поддались. Конечно контента маловато (всего 9 миссий), но зато он качественный. С удовольствием сыграю в другие игры от этих разработчиков.

Топорная RTS с элементами обороны поселений.

Итак, действие происходит в королевстве, которое было захвачено нежитью много лет назад, народ решает освободить землю от полчищ зомби и конечно же, нам поручено руководить всей этой операцией. Сюжет банален, но в играх такого плана он и не нужен в принципе.

Игра максимально казуальная, если сравнить с той же They Are Billions. Геймплей Risen Kingdom откровенно слаб, днем наша цель - построить свою базу и исследовать окрестности, ночью - отбиваемся от наступающих монстров. Из жанра RTS у нас взята возможность возводить здания для добычи еды, древесины, камня и золота, а также несколько видов построений для самообороны. Размер карты довольно мал, набеги зомби смотрятся невыразительно, как в играх на смартфоне 10 летней давности. Визуально всё выглядит однообразно, не цепляет. В целом, сама механика сражения мне не понравилась.

Если Вы являетесь поклонником жанра TD и RTS, возможно в игре найдёте что-то интересное для себя, всем остальным рекомендую проходить мимо, несмотря даже на цену во время распродажи. Моя оценка 3/10.

Quick, fun, and moderately challenging: everything you could ask for.

Risen Kingdom is an RTS/TD hybrid game. You build units, defend your base, and strike out across the map to attack neutral creeps and expand your holdings. It very much feels like a Warcraft 3 custom map, and I mean that as a compliment.

The RTS portions of the game are where it really shines. Having to balance pushing out and expanding your base while defending it properly is the only real opportunity for skill expression you're given; the TD portion of the game is very simple.

Risen Kingdom plays well. It has classic Blizzard-type controls, including the exact same hotkeys for control groups. Unit selection is a little worse than in Starcraft or Warcraft, but you don't need micro so it's mostly a moot point.

Difficulty is moderate for any RTS veteran; the whole game took me around 7 hours to complete on the hardest difficulty, including getting all achievements. But for such a low price, value for money was very much there.

All told, Risen Kingdom is fun little TD that you can blow through in a single session. It's cheap, plays wells, and is modestly challenging. What more could you ask for?

This is actually a very fun game very similar to There Are Billions <-- Just a more simplistic adaptation of that.
The game is very easy to learn vs other games of the genre and it's a lot more forgiving vs games of the genre so if you want to get into those but are too intimidated this may be a good entry point for you also it has the adorable art style.

I do have a slight issue with the game and that's the lack of replayability vs other games of the same genre. Outside of the single player campaign there's no additional modes. There's no sandbox experience, no conquest mode; nothing!

So once you accomplish the campaign you're essentially done which is a shame because it would be great with a sandbox experience

In der Welt von "Risen Kingdom" erwartet die Spieler ein episches RTS Abenteuer.

Die Grafik ist irgendwie schmeichelnd RetroComic. Die Entwickler haben eine lebendige Welt erschaffen, die mit leuchtenden Farben und netten Landschaften begeistern. Von den üppigen Wäldern, durch die schneebedeckten Gipfeln des Gebirges – jede Region ist einzigartig gestaltet und lädt dazu ein, erkundet zu werden.

Was sich lohnt denn es liegt LOOT rum, gesichert durch NPC Horden. Das Gameplay kann dabei schon packend & fordernd sein. Spieler schlüpfen in die Rolle eines jungen Helden, der sich auf eine Reise begibt, um das Königreich vor einer drohenden Dunkelheit zu retten. In einem übersichtlichen Strategiesystem können die Spieler die beste Kombination von verschiedenen Einheiten & Verteidigungen aufbauen, um ihre Feinde zu besiegen.

Die Kämpfe sind dynamisch und fordernd, wobei auch strategisches Denken gefragt ist, um die mächtigen "Bossgegner" zu überwinden. Ein herausragendes Merkmal war für mich die Gradlinigkeit, einfach mal klassisch. Die Erzählung entfaltet sich durch spannende Spieleszenarios und einer Questminiaufgabetaskleiste. Die Musikuntermalung ist angenehm und wenn die Nacht einbricht, ändert sie sich auch und weißt so passiv auf die Verteidigung hin.

Zusammenfassend möchte ich sich sagen, dass es ein einfach gut gemachtes Spiel ist und im Sale ein Pflichteinkauf ist. in 11 Stunden habe ich die Story durch gespielt, wobei mir lediglich 3 Cheevos fehlen. Echt gutes Spiel, wirklich hat mir gefallen!

Well I have had this on my wish-list for a LONG time. I finally got it when it was on sale for 1.39. I wasn't disappointed..... but I wasn't impressed either. I beat the entire game in 4 hours. I only had to restart the final mission one time. Yes, I could go through and beat it on the hard difficulty. It does not call to me. Its not that interesting. I also completed every bonus objective on normal.

Pros:
It was fun-ish?
Cons:
Not very deep strategy
Clumsy unit control
Easy to lose units behind buildings
Same strategy for all levels basically

Was it worth 1.39? Probably, yes.
Is it worth 10? NO.
Will I ever play it again? Nope.

There's a lot to like here, but the game has some serious problems:

- Keys are not re-bindable, & the arrow keys scroll the map. I have a wall to the left side of my computer, so I would need to shove my keyboard through that wall to be able to play this game comfortably.

- Moving the mouse to the edge of the screen scrolls the map, & the build menu is at the bottom of the screen, so using the build menu scrolls the map down. Edge scrolling cannot be disabled.

- The game has irritating scaling issues on modern windows. Normally I might suggest an update that makes the game start in windowed mode by default as an easy fix for this problem, but the awkwardness caused by the inability to disable edge-scrolling is exacerbated by putting the game in windowed mode.

The game is fun. Very easy to play.
This game doesnt require any thought of any kind. Super simple and easy to beat.

Con:
One of the levels is simply impossible to beat in hard difficulty.
The ending has no final boss. It's just 10 minutes of waves. At one point i thought the game was glitched lol.
Game is too short for 10$. I finished it in 8 hours. A lot of that was just waiting for the timer to end because i had cleared all the areas.
Game ending has no conclusion. No congrats message, no music, no end game boss. It just ends. Was kind of dissapointed.
The maps are railroady. Straight path to your destination. Same upgrades every map.
Only story mode. No PVE maps or create your own maps etc. This game can definitely improve in the second version if one ever comes out.

I played this a few years back and just thought about it again, thought I'd leave a review.
It's not a complex RTS, don't expect Supreme commander, but I recall it was a good time.
Basically if you wanna chill and battle your way through a novel RTS campaign for a couple of days, optimize some builds, and then close the game feeling wrapped up with it and satisfied, this is a good pick. I kind of wish there were more RTS games which were short experiences like this one, reminds me of the early days of Flash RTS games, although this is much more polished and not as broken as those were.

Un juego parecido a They Are Billions pero salvando las distancias y limitaciones. Muy facil de entender y dificil de dominar. Su campaña son 8 misiones y un modo survival. En facil no deja de ser exigente, en un descuido debes de empezar nuevamente. Muchas tropas a elegir, bastantes edificios para mejorar y ampliar tu asentamiento... muy divertido. Quizás la campaña sea corta pero a su precio rebajado ayuda bastante a no sembrar dudas y adquirirlo.

It took me 6.1 hours to finish the Campaign on Hardest Difficulty + 100% Achievements which i think is pretty alright for 7.99€

As a Starcraft Regular the difficulty "Hard" is not a problem once you undestand the connections - this game reminded me a lot of playing "They are Billions" but it is a lot easier.

I dont really see the replay value since there is nothing more.

If you like "They are Billions" or RTS in general and are looking for a more casual exprience this game could be for you.

It's a little bit of Kingdom Rush, a little bit of Stronghold Crusader and a little bit of They Are Billions but not as good as any of them. I felt hopeful at this title, it has some good reviews.
I give this a pass on the basis that it is not expensive and has enough to it to be worthy of the price but I do feel a person would be happier with any of the above mentioned games instead.
Pretty fun game, as of now it is very short,

But around 6hours of playtime to play through all content and get all achievements.

If you like rts defense games it will bring you joy for those couple of hours.
More modes, maps, campaigns would be great.

Its tiny great game with cute graphics :) Reminds me a bit of Warcraft, but the gameplay, ways how to improve your army and town is awesome. Easy and FUN Good price

A nice combination of tower defence, base building and RTS. It is a fairly simple indie game so don't expect huge depth but I found it compelling enough to replay levels a few times to improve my strategy. The graphics and music are simple but have a certain charm.

The pacing is good as you get a few minutes to improve your defences between waves. Resources are in short supply so you must make the right decisions on which tower to build next. By expanding your base you can benefit from more resources. Caves which are the source of some enemies during waves so by destroying these you can reduce the positions you need to defend. The 8 missions are fine (3 star target for each) and the last one is a challenge.

Overall a solid game with an effective UI. Room to improve: No in-game save feature. No way to remove rocks to allow more building space. No leaderboard for survival mode (not even for yourself), and there is just one survival map. The final level didn't seem to be an ending sequence so it was somewhat of an anti-climax to complete.
