REDEEMER is a Top-Down Action game where you will punch, hack and blast your way through enemies using fists, hammers, fire arms and even the environment.
Play as Vasily, an elite operative who once worked for one of the biggest arms industry corporations in the world. Officially working in security, you were tasked with infiltration, assassination, extortion and even torture. When eventually the corporation decided to get rid of you, you manage to narrowly escape to a secluded monastery deep in the snowy mountains. For 20 years you tried to find peace and harmony amogst your fellow monks, but you are still too haunted by your murderous past to find either. Now after all of these years the corporation is finally closing-in on your location, and in so doing they have given you one last shot at redemption.

Bu oyunu Anomaly Agent bir balondur ve reedemer aldığı puanı hak etmiyor diyen kişi yüzünden aldım. 20. dakikada daha ölmedim ve sinirim çok bozuldu. 2. bölümde kimseyi öldürmeden en sona doğru koştum(bu kilisenin önüne kadar) Sonra hepsine karşı tek ben girdim aldım (oyunu normal modda oynuyorum) bir de sanat tasarımı bana güzel de gelmedi. Oynanış da çok yavan geldi. Yumruklarınız yerden aldığınız silahlardan çok daha hızlı. Gelişim kısmı çok dar ve çok sıkıcı bir ekranı var. O yüzden gram beğenmedim oyunu.

Бодрое месилово в стиле "beat 'em up" с добиваниями и огнестрелом. Осторожно затягивает! Графика нормальная. Прокачка присутствует. Ценителям жанра рекомендую попробовать.
Игра неплохая но то что иногда персонаж рандомно достаёт или не достаёт оружие когда тебе нужно бесит. Плюс в аду отдельный котёл для того кто создавал блевотного зомби которого нельзя убить за 2 обоймы из оружия.

выбивать другие ачивки даже желания нет, это был неприятный опыт и сегодня добив игру я понял почему дропнул её в 2023 году...

I would recommend this game.
Как любит говорить один мой дорогой друг - "Игра звезд с неба не хватает". Нормальный боевичок-драчка с сюжетом для галочки. Порой были странные баги с текстурами и анимацией, но в целом это не испортило впечатление от игры. На распродаже взять, и пройти за вечер-другой самое оно.
Игра сделана на коленке, автору явно не хватало опыта(несмотря на то что уровни похожи на кишку, не редко приходится угадывать куда идти дальше), но в целом игра неплохая за счет динамики, а также за счет смачных забиваний врагов разными предметами, голыми руками и огнестрелом + рэгдолл физика.

Покупал очень давно, на ПК не особо зацепила игра, хочется что-то более продолжительное и с хорошей историей. Но мне попал в руки Steam Deck и игра заиграла новыми красками. Советую для карманной консоли.

+ 操作流畅，键鼠还是手柄用起来都很顺。
+ 难度、系统很简单，杀就完事了。
+ 全成就不难。pc版貌似要比ps版多了几十个成就。
+ bgm也不错。
· 流程短，大概在五小时左右，在我感到腻之前游戏就结束了。
- 中后期战斗又开始变得十分重复，武器种类和技能并不够支撑时长，大概在十章左右的时候我就把武力技能点满了。
- 有几只怪物的设计和打击感真的一言难尽。
- 烦人的躲机关关卡，特别是最后一章boss站门口的那俩，真的很烦人。
打折的时候还是很值的，一晚上就能一口气通关。

Un bug por aquí, un bug por allá, otro bug te saludará. Jugando de a dos los bosses son bastante sencillos. En general es un juego que zafa, cumple con la acción y el gore pero como mencioné tiene un par de bugs que al menos no impiden disfrutar del juego y pasarlo bastante rápido. 6/10

It's basically hotline Miami mixed with a melee beat em up, the RPG perk system completely falls flat for me, and the level design is very samey.
It's a good "afternoon" type game where you beat it in one sitting on medium. It's fun, and it has its moments, but it won't be blowing anyone's mind. A solid 3-4 hours of gameplay. At least the punching and shooting feels good.

Интересная игра с нетипичным гг, ввиде монаха, огромного накаченного монаха, попрошу. Ходим по уровням, мстим за свой храм, боевка простенькая, слабая и сильная атака, есть добивания, они восполняют хп, есть огнестрел, есть прокачка, графика прям неплохая, даже хорошая, уровни есть душные, но в целом терпимо. Ачивки вроде я помню забагованные, но в целом выбиваемые. Рекомендую

A rough, barebones yet satisfying beat'em up with a simple yet engaging narrative, a badass and likeable anti-hero, great animations and satisfying combat. Mixing traditional martial arts with military brawling/gun fu.
The pros:
1. Engaging combat despite the simplicity.
2. Addictive gameplay loop.
3. Surprisingly good story.
4. Fun Level design.

1. Bizzarre collectible and level up system (You can pretty much Max out Vasily by simply replaying the 1st level and re-collecting the scrolls and tablets.
2. Abrupt shift from a mundane, mystical atmosphere to dead space type of sci-fi. Should've stuck to the former in my opinion.
3. Not much replayability or endgame content.
Final verdict: Solid 7.5/10 Buy it on sale.

Redeemer is a brawler/beat 'em up with top-down view mechanics that offers simple gameplay with a variety of tools to achieve our goal. Martial arts is the main weapon we use, but once we get our hands on fire guns of all kind among other tools, that goes out the window.
Gameplay in general is quite barebones, but satisfying for the most part, it is brutal and bloody, rough around the edges. It is very weird as the game at some point forgets it is a beat 'em up and it turns into a shoot 'em up and we barely use our fists anymore as new and more advanced weapons start to show up.

In terms of graphics Redeemer does not offer much, it feels like a PS3 game when it comes to effects, graphics in general, nothing out of the ordinary and horrible things like invisible walls that forbid you to enter certain areas.
Same for effects, standard and nothing spectacular.

Not much to say here, run of the mill music and effects, voice acting is at least decent.

Redeemer is a fun game for what it offers, but the story and main plot are all over the place, it does a poor job at explaining what is going on, we fight normal enemy soldiers with weapons and suddenly we are facing all sorts of mutant monsters in a lab that goes on and on for multiple levels, all this leave you wondering at what point the revenge plot turns into a top down Farcry 1 game... seriously, it starts really good then the plot falls apart a little bit, it forgets it is a beat 'em up, it forgets about martial arts and it's all about new more murderous weapons, is this bad? well it depends on what you like and expect.

Rough around the edges, decent graphics and sound effects Redeemer is a good time waster, a mindless game that will offer a good time of killing for a few hours, do not expect a groundbreaking game.

you play as a reformed monk who's forced to slaughter their way to revenge. it sounds right up my alley! the first 5-6 levels were fun and interesting, with stealth, parrying, combos, interactive environment, and brutal executions all the way!
then, a quarter of the way into the game, it jarringly turned into dead space, and the game was absolutely ruined. endless waves of monsters that will swarm you, stun you, and just waste your time, littered with bigger enemies that are immune to everything except guns, which restricts you of 90% of your arsenal.
it's like they made two different games and stitched them together.
VERY good game, love the violence, its very refreshing, why I waited this long to get this, I knew it was popular, it's great. 10 for me.

Ein Twin-Stick-Prügler mit Waffeneinsatz, geradlinig, brutal, blutig und ganz spaßig.
Eigentlich sollten unsere kriegerischen Tage hinter uns liegen und wir haben uns in ein Kloster zurückgezogen. Aber der Tempel wird überfallen, unsere Brüder ermordet, also müssen wir unsere friedfertige Seite erst mal ablegen. Die isometrische Grafik ist eigentlich ganz hübsch, aber etwas stört mich daran. Sie wirkt immer so leicht verschwommen und unscharf. Aber damit konnte ich mich dann doch schnell abfinden. Da das Spiel sich sehr kurzweilig präsentiert. Wir steuern unseren Protagonisten durch die Tempelanlagen und zerlegen unterwegs Feinde mit Händen und Füßen, nehmen ihnen Waffen ab oder nutzen die Umgebung zur "Befriedung". Ruckzuck ist man hier in einem Flow aus Zuschlagen, Blocken, Waffe aufnehmen und Feuern gefangen, dass die Zeit nur so verfliegt. Die Sprachausgabe ist englisch, die Oberfläche und Untertitel können auf Deutsch eingestellt werden. Da gibt es zwar den einen oder anderen Übersetzungs-Patzer, aber in Summe alles ganz sauber. Eine Story gibt es, die kann man aber auch ignorieren. Ein unterhaltsamer Spaß für zwischendurch.

Decent beat em up game play, nothing too fancy but quite fun!
Slick but samey, and unoptimised Unreal engine graphics, heats up my poor GTX1070 quite quickly! Had to drop to 60 fps for decent heat. A few slow downs, and a couple of crashes, but not too many before finishing the game once.
Прикольный, быстрый, но немного топорный, битемап о монахе-машине-для-убийств, которому не дали забыть кровавое прошлое. Все весëлые механики битемапа на месте - кроме кулаков можно хватать с пола холодное или стреляющее оружие и кидаться предметами, а также есть прикольные добивания. Игровой процесс похож на хаотический кровавый ураган разрушения. Есть кооп на двоих на одном компе.

Ещё одна полностью законченная игра в мою коллекцию которая была пройдена дважды(один раз на харкоре) с удовольствием! Есть проблемы с получением некоторых ачивок после выполнения условий их получения, но это не портит основное впечатление от игры! Простой незамысловатый сюжет, красивая анимация боёв, классическая система прокачки персонажа, много чего ломается! Если хотите пару вечером после работы занять прикольным экшеном, то советую обратить на Redeemer внимание!

Redeemer: Enhanced Edition has been on my radar/backlog for years it seems.
Anyways. The game is an isometric beat em' up/shooter with a whole bunch of levels, guns, melee weapons, violence and gore. Didnt really follow the story at all just ran around pummelling dudes and monsters "a la Kratos" style. It works. Simple and fun. And if you're here for a quick, cheap and fun game then its well worth your time.
Only slight issues I had was some stuttering in later levels on turbo mode surrounded by mobs and the final levels seem to disappear very quickly and seem to have a bit less thought put into them. First 10 or 12 levels are more maze like with different rooms and then it kind of rushes through to the end. You'll also come across plenty of perks and upgrades on your journey that make clearing out levels easier and a bit more chore like.

Игра довольно короткая даже простая, раз такой казуал как я, сумел так быстро её осилить. Сюжет тут конечно же чисто символический, ведь главная суть игры - тотальный расколбас всего живого, что встречается по пути. И с этим игра справилась. Брал по скидке, потому покупкой доволен. На пару вечерков игра сумеет занять. 8/10.

Прошёл с превеликим удовольствием. Собака студио- моё вам уваженгие. Я одного не могу понять.... киборг это приквел или как? просто и Василий и Волков.... явно всё не с проста. Огромное спасибо. Это отличная игра. Мнек очень понравилось.

Short (takes 4h to complete) but fun top down brawler. The game is not very complex and doesn't do anything that would make it stand out but it is still fun and can be challenging at times.
The only part of the game I didn't like were instant-killing environmental traps in 2 later levels, they completely derailed the overall pacing of the game for me whenever they appeared.

You play as Vasily, a man who tried inner peace, but decided fists were better than forgiveness. The game is basically 6-8 hours of absolute mayhem, with melee kills so satisfying they might make your underwear musty.
It’s short, sweet, and brutally entertaining. Not perfect, but definitely fun. If you're into punching, smashing, and yelling “CYKA” through your teeth, Redeemer might be a game for you.
Неплохая игра в стиле старых 2.5D боевиков, драки хорошие, стрельба приемлемая(как и должно быть в таких боевиках). Сложность нормальная, ближе к концу игры становится проще из-за прокачки. Иногда видно, что игра не дорогая и разрабы ещё не самые опытные, багов не встречал. В общем рекомендую любителям боевиков.
