В списке желаемого эта игра висела несколько лет, 5 или 6 - не помню уже. А когда в 2026-ом пришло её время, наконец, то выяснилось, что былые схемы с русификатором не работают... К счастью, выход пока ещё есть и один метод всё же позволяет пройти игру с рус. субтитрами. Пожалуй, отсутствие перевода "из коробки" - единственный минус (или нюанс, но в моём случае именно минус) игры. Если же у вас есть знание английского, то вам кратно повезло!

Ну а теперь о плюсах:
- Старый добрый ламповый Point-n-Click квест. Старой школы. Неспешный, медитативный, атмосферный... и местами довольно сложный (во всяком случае, по отношению к своим современным собратьям по жанру).
- Хорошо передана атмосфера последствий техногенной катастрофы, постапокалипсиса и всеобщего упадка.
- Текста в игре хватает. В основном, в виде диалогов. Но они интересные, познавательные и... в достаточной степени философские.
- Сам сюжет вообще простирается философией над всем происходящим. Игра поднимает интересные аспекты взаимоотношений людей с роботами, роботов друг с другом и о цели их в этом мире.
- Игра не успевает надоесть или наскучить, история вполне цельная и можно всё пройти за один присест (от 5-ти часов, в зависимости, сколько вы времени потратите на некоторые головоломки).

Пара нюансов, которые могут быть для некоторых и минусами:
- Как уже говорилось, это квест "старой формации", а соответственно, он обладает такими особенностями, как не всегда очевидное решение для продвижения по сюжету или решения очередной головоломки, некоторые из которых, к слову, довольно... душные.) Тут нужно понимать, что под головоломками здесь подразумевается не какой-либо паззл или задачка на отдельном экране - хотя и такие тут тоже есть, - а в целом правильность последовательных действий с предметами и персонажами. Проще говоря, это не MYST-образный квест и не аналог House of Da Vinci. Сюда же относятся повторные посещения локаций, в которых после определённого момента появляется или открывается что-то новое.
- Графика. Лично для меня, как для человека, которого целиком и полностью устраивает графика Fallout 2, она... приемлема. Если быть до конца честным - уж очень пиксельная. Я люблю ретро, конечно, но тут прям вообще квадратики. Разрешение ни на что особо не влияет и на 2к мониторе даже с 1366х768 квадраты остаются квадратами. Сама стилистика и дизайн - очень приятные. Палитра тоже отличная. Но вот сильно "кубисто-пиксельно"...)) Это, к слову, немного мешает, так как часть предметов сливается с фоном.

ДОСТИЖЕНИЯ: игру вполне можно пройти на 100% за один раз, но при этом вы гарантированно будете пользоваться гайдами. Если же будете играть, не подглядывая (сейчас речь именно о достижениях, а не прохождении в целом), то с большой долей вероятности будете играть второй раз, причём с самого начала. Если развилки, исключающие другие варианты, и есть разные пути прохождения некоторых моментов - из-за этого ряд достижений можно элементарно пропустить. Сами они, к слову, несложные, но потребуют времени для повторного прохождения. Хотя парочка душноватых тоже есть.)

В сухом остатке, "нюансы", перечисленные мной - это всё же нюансы. А плюсы перевешивают всё остальное со значительным отрывом. Так что фанатам жанра - рекомендую к ознакомлению!

Primordia is like if the heavy hitters of the adventure game genre just kept using an old school variant of their negine up until modern day. I think it won a modern classic award and boy does it deserve it.

It's a fantastic character driven mystery that holds a thoughtful and tonally varied exploration of an apocalypse where only robots survive and what sense they try and find in that world and the wide variety of beliefs they come to hold and what the build.

Despite the bleakness of the setting I often found the writing fun and comedic and engaging? All the wildly different characters and how they act and speak leads to lots of fun and dynamic sessions, and there's an attention to detail -- things that might seem one off can be brought up again and it rarely felt like anything was coming out of left field.

Also the art for this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gorgeous. I've been showing my friends the Goliath exterior because it is an art print you could hang up. The game has this consistent, kind of spindly and organic art style makes all of the robots fascinating to look at. When the game leans on mysticism and gravitas it absolutely is capable of pulling off the visual design to make them land. I adore it and easily will make it stick with me.

It also consistently gets patched to fix any funky bugs and ensure compatibly on modern systems. I played this on Ubuntu LTS 24 and it worked great.

Also, for what it's worth: I often think it's easy to assume what the protagonist of the game thinks/speaks is what the game is speaking (I think they often strongly align!) but Primordia is much more about having a wide variety of different perspectives exploring philosophical ranges of belief. The protagonist starts out more or less a religious libertarian but the game itself does not commit to any point so much as explores the rest of them. It is not at all a cheap with any of the things it touches, even with the antagonist.

It's been sticking with me and I've bee talking to friends about it. As of 2026-03-20 it currently is on extra sale (from the easily worth it $10) to an absolute steal $3.

Primordia is an okay post-apocalyptic, point and click game and it's published by Wadjet Eye Games the same people that have made and published games like the Blackwell series, but anyway let's talk about the story.

In a ruined waste land two robots are hard at work; Horatio and his side kick Crispin are busy repairing an old flying battleship called the Unique trying to get it in the air once more. As it can be difficult scavenging for parts in the post apocalypse, especially power cores but they're making progress, unfortunately for Horatio his the power core gets stolen, forcing him and Crispin on an adventure that will uncover a deep conspiracy in a city called Metropolitan that will test Horatio.

Now it’s like time, the story is really good with plenty of great twists and turns and good comedy, the mystery is set up well as well as the world itself and there's a lot of good environmental storytelling that tells you what happened to this world, but they don’t exactly give you the details, also the story talks about life, religion and what means to be your own person and it's handled very well and doesn't feel rushed.

The characters are really good each one is very well written and entertaining, even for NPCs that only have little dialogue, my personal favorite is Horatio and his sidekick Crispin they have a good back and forth with Horatio being the straight man and Crispin being the comic relief, I also like how Horatio has a nice dry sense of humor and feels relatable, especially this one part where he's basically commenting on adventure gameing.The gameplay is a mixed bag it's a standard point and click game you go around solve puzzles and gather items in order to solve them, but it can be kind of vague so I had to use a walkthrough a lot of times.

The pixel graphics art style is very good has a nice sort of old school pixel style that feels old school and modern with its designs, colors, shading that sort of thing that really makes the area stand out even in areas that use a lot of browns can still feel vibrant.The levels are very good they're pretty diverse and vibrant even though it is a post-apocalyptic world, you want to stop and stare at it all, also like I said in the story there's a lot of good environmental storytelling that paints a very interesting picture. The music is very good with each track fiting the game pretty well.

The voice acting is very good probably my favorites has to be both Horatio and Crispin as the voice actors do a very good job in voicing their characters, which isn't surprising as both are veteran voice actors in the indie game scene.

Now it’s dislike time, like I said the gameplay can be vague and the answers to certain situations can be a bit ridiculous, even for adventure games. Also for some reason the achievement We're All in This Together while it still unlocked, I didn't exactly complete all the necessary requirements for it so I don't know why it unlocked.

So with all that done Primordia is an okay post-apocalyptic, point and click game and it's published by Wadjet Eye Games the same people that have made and published games like the Blackwell series, it has a really good story, really good characters and very good pixel graphics art style, so do I recommend getting this game, yes I do if you like point and click games with a Sci-Fi post-apocalyptic feel this could be for you just don't be ashamed if you have to use a walkthrough like I did.

Primordia impressed me most with its world-building: a future where humanity is extinct, yet remembered and revered almost as a religion by the robots it once created. The allegory of Man as the original creator—elevated to a god-like figure by machines struggling to understand their own origins—is powerful and thought-provoking. It gives the setting real philosophical weight and makes the narrative stand out.

The puzzles sit at a solid medium difficulty. Most are well-balanced, though two or three require serious head-scratching, and one in particular suffers from a weak hint. There are also moments of pixel hunting, mainly due to the absence of a hotspot button.

Visually, the game is striking. The heavy use of browns, metallic tones, rust, dust, and decaying machinery perfectly conveys a world dominated by technology after humanity’s disappearance. It creates a cohesive, atmospheric environment that truly supports the story. The music is generally fine—sometimes merely functional, occasionally slightly more intense than necessary—but it does its job.

One of the strongest elements is the dynamic between Horatio and his sidekick, Crispin. Their relationship adds warmth and depth to an otherwise bleak world, and Crispin can even provide hints if you get stuck, which feels natural within the narrative.

Importantly, the game features multiple endings. Your decisions throughout the story are not punished; instead, they reshape later events. This design choice enhances replayability and encourages you to revisit the game to explore different outcomes.

Overall, I would give Primordia an 8/10. Its atmosphere, philosophical depth, and strong character dynamics make it a memorable experience, even if a few mechanical limitations hold it back slightly.

Didn't make it through without a walkthrough, but it might also be the long pauses between game sessions. This game has a quirky diesel punk vibe with a generous slathering of post-apocalyptic dystopia on top. While some puzzles can be frustrating, I really enjoyed Horatio and Crispin's banter. That alone made me want to test out all kinds of crazy combinations with the plasma torch.

I would recommend this only to point&click enthusiasts, unless you're ok with playing with a walkthrough.

Solid writing. Good voice acting. In-universe puzzles that make sense. I was able to figure everything out with a satisfying level of difficulty and not requiring a guide.

Proper old-school, pixel art, point and click. Reminiscent of games from the 90's. The game looks very blocky, it's a shame it hasn't been updated to look better at modern monitor resolutions - mebbe that's intentional but I found it a tad annoying. The game is well designed, but it's still the expected mix of pixel-hunts (there's no option to display hotspots) and fetch-quests. Most of the puzzles are reasonable except one element of the "kiosk" puzzle - I'd be surprised if anyone solves it without a hint. That said, I did enjoy the story, so I'd give it 6/10.

Well done and interesting setting. Sidekick is grating and should have been either removed or written to a much higher standard of quality. I
It is possible to cut yourself off from the good ending early on in the game without any real warning during a seemingly small side section. I realize this is realistic, and perhaps some people prefer to have this possibility, but hours later when I reached an end and finally looked for guides which informed me that yes, that was the only ending available, I felt like I had wasted hours enduring that stupid sidekick looking forward to a resolution that never came. I didn't even get to confront any villain, I was just locked out due to a seemingly unrelated mistake early in.

I cannot recommend this. Please use the LucasArts model when designing this sort of game, not the Sierra one, unless you telegraph early and often that mistakes are costly and permanent.

A fantastic, bleak post-apocalyptic sci-fi PNC with an incredibly atmospheric world to explore. The story is intriguing, with a strong cast of main and supporting characters who are all distinct and well-voiced. The artwork is consistently beautiful, and the narrative pulls you in completely.

The puzzles can be challenging—I often needed a guide. It carries a strong Neil Blomkamp–style vibe throughout, which I absolutely loved. The game has multiple endings that you can see all with a tactical save at the end. The music complements the experience perfectly, the locations are memorable, and it runs great on the Steam Deck.

It's been a while since I played a Point 'n' Click Adventure Game, mostly spending my time playing nice and easy (pun intended) VN's, in Primordia we play the role of a robot named Horatio Nullbuilt (I do love a good play on a name) in what appears to be a post-apocalyptic world where the Terminators have risen up and Humanity no longer exist (No mention of SkyNet but we all get the jist). Horatio lives with his friend Crispin in a busted up plane/airship/flying fortress but after they get their power source stolen from they take off on a whirlwind quest like Samwise and Mr. Frodo to take it back and along the way they (and through them we) learn more about the world.
I'm trying to avoid spoilers but there are multiple paths you can take in each decision and unlike a Telltale game your choices really do well and truly affect and impact the gameplay, down to who's alive at the end. This one is really, well and truly, beyond any stretch - worth your time.

Je suis désolé Primordia. J’aurais adoré t’aimer, vraiment. Mais tu n’as rien fait pour.

Dans un élan d’hommage aux jeux LucasArts, avec leurs logiques implacables, du genre à vous demander de combiner un aspirateur et un coussin pour fabriquer un écran LCD ouvrant une trappe, Primordia s’applique à multiplier les puzzles alambiqués. Une aventure qui aurait tenu en deux heures se retrouve ainsi étirée à dix, simplement parce qu’on vous force à faire des bonds de logique improbables.

J’ai résisté autant que possible, mais au bout de quelques heures j’ai rendu les armes. J’ai ouvert un guide, juste pour enfin profiter d’un univers pourtant très réussi.
Les amateurs de point & click old-school y verront peut-être un défi à la hauteur de leurs attentes. Mais pour ma part, même si j’aime être mis au défi, ce n’est pas vraiment ma définition du “challenge”.
Un code à entrer dans un détonateur lors d’une séquence sans échappatoire ?
Si vous ne l’avez pas noté trois heures plus tôt en prévoyant exactement ce qui allait arriver… tant pis pour vous. Un design validé par Nostradamus en personne.

Et malgré la frustration qui monte, on reste accroché, avec un guide sous les yeux, parce que ce monde de robots livrés à eux-mêmes, sans humains, pose de vraies questions philosophiques. La direction artistique steampunk post-apo, elle, fonctionne très bien.
Mais la navigation via un inventaire peu ergonomique n’arrange rien : on passe un temps ridicule à tourner en rond, à cliquer sur des pixels microscopiques, dans l’espoir de débloquer une interaction oubliée par le destin.

C’est là que se révèle l’autre grand problème du jeu : son style rétro, trop poussé, trop pixélisé. Jusqu’à rendre certaines scènes pratiquement illisibles. La DA en souffre, car on devine qu’elle aurait pu être bien plus marquante sans cette fidélité aveugle aux œuvres micro-Amiga.
Ce qui surprend, c’est de lire une avalanche d’avis très positifs… où la majorité reconnaît pourtant que les énigmes sont tirées par les cheveux, et qu’avancer sans guide relève presque du masochisme.

Ai-je détesté le voyage ? Non. Mais uniquement parce qu’au tiers du jeu, j’ai choisi d’abandonner les énigmes et de me concentrer exclusivement sur le récit.
Je comprends les bonnes notes si l’on baigne dans ce type de jeux depuis trente ans. Mais personnellement, la souris m’en tombe des mains.
Les nombreuses fins, en revanche, valent vraiment le détour.
Cependant je ne recommande pas nécessairement.

I honestly really enjoyed Primordia. Super unique story, love the religious ties, and the dialogue was suprisingly interesting, more so than I would have expected. The lore is genuinely intruiging, and the characters had an extensive breadth to them, with both good vocal acting and uniqueness.

However, the game was also very frustrating at the start. Coming from more visual focused games like Machinarium, the puzzles didn't click for the first two hours or so. Also, I found a great interest in the game's references to Christian ideals, and even mentions of a robot associated with it (no spoilers). But I was quite dissapointed when I figured out you never actually get to see him, nor his area, and it is only written.

And a larger gripe -- the ending was quite lackluster. It does one of those things where the only variation in decision is really on-the-spot. A couple endings require previous work, unbeknownst to you, but most of them are just 'reload, click this button instead'. Really quite dissapointing for an otherwise very in-depth game.

I don't think the negatives outweight the positives, though, and I really enjoyed my time playing it. Might to another playthrough sometime to get the 100% achievements, but I have a habit of not saving, so I have to completely restart lol.

If you liked old Lucasarts adventure games like Monkey Island, you will enjoy this. The style and music set the mood very nicely, the jokes land well and the puzzles manage a sweet spot between tricky enough to make you feel clever, but not so difficult as to become frustrating. On top of that, Primordia's plot and lore are well thought out and kept me intrigued throughout the game. Could have been longer, but a definite recommend!

I don't think this is a bad game overall, but for every good thing about it there are also some of the worst traits in the point-and-click genre bringing it down. Beyond that: Whilst this has an interesting story, it doesn't deliver on one of the more intriguing aspects and has a cheesy "comedy" style to its characters that was more often eye-rolling goofy slap-stick rather than being drily or darkly funny.

The latter aspect will be one of personal taste. It didn't have to be deadly serious, and some humour is welcome, but it undermines the drama somewhat with its twee "buddy buddy cop movie" tone. Here's the dry humourless straight guy bickering with his buffoonish "comedy" side-kick....ha....ha....huhhhhhh....

Given that the voice-work is pretty solid I would have to say that it's not the delivery that's the issue, but that it's pretty lame to begin with. Thematically there's some "ship of theseus" vibes to who your character is, given that they are a robot who has been rebuilt and reprogrammed time and time again, and it eludes to a dark past but doesn't go into detail.

They aren't a blank slate and do have some personality, it's just more interesting about what they supposedly used to be. Yet it doesn't matter much in the context of the narrative and is only a slightly different take on the trope of amnesia. Albeit one that this is more justifiable given how "memory" and "identity" is just a certain arrangement of zero's and ones in this machine world.

On the game-play front it depends on how much attention you are paying to seemingly insignificant details, or whether you mind pixel-hunting and inconsistent puzzles. I personally don't like games where you can get to a puzzle before you need to use it, and they will indicate there's nothing of interest.....at that point in time. Nor will there be any reaction until much, muuuuuch later.

Then you come back after an hour (or two) and you're going to poke it again for a badly sign-posted solution.....why? An example of this would be: You come across a robot killing other corrupted robots and they put their heads on a spike. At this point you get a standard response if you look at the heads, "head on a spike" for this one, "head on a spike" for that one, and so and so on. None of them are different.

Then after however long it takes you to figure out umpteen puzzles later, you come back to there and suddenly one of the heads is different....for reasons, and you recognise it as being a certain robot...even though you've never seen them before to now suddenly identify it as being of interest. Makes sense.....not!

There's other examples where they give you a clue but it's loooong before the puzzle become active, and it's easy to forget these details. One instance is a whole chapter earlier, and not only is it way, way, waaaaaay before you encounter the need for it, but it's also irrelevant at the time you experience it.

It's only the fact that it's an optional solution that makes this less irritating, Some "clues" are logged for you and some "hints" are provided, but they are either incomplete in the case of the former or quite vague for the latter. I had to look up some of the solutions in a guide and even then I wouldn't say they worked as explanations, though eventually it twigged with me.

Albeit from the position of being able to work backwards, rather than feeling the problem provided enough detail to figure it out. Maybe I'm stupid, or maybe some of the positive reviews didn't take into account whether they used a guide, and if so: perhaps the game needed better logic? And if it needed better logic, then maybe it's not a good game?

Because that's somewhat of a failing when the puzzles are too smarty-pants for their own good, or are structured in such a way that back-tracking and clicking everything over and over again just in case it's now active. It isn't great design and feels a bit old-school compared to other titles that felt "smart" but didn't have to pull this crap.

I guess I'm just used to point-and-clicks that have cut away this flabby excess and offer a more focused experience, with a better indication of where and when you might need the information or items you have been given. For the price it isn't awful, but I'd be lying if I said that I'd enjoyed this as much as other titles in the genre.

Your wits (or OCD traits in cataloguing every little thing), level of patience and the type of "humour" you find funny will determine if you feel the same.

Everything about this is worthwhile. The music, voice acting, visuals and writing are very well done and memorable. I enjoyed pretty much all of the puzzles (especially the kiosk one), and it's nice to see that some of them can be solved in multiple ways.

I'd also recommend turning on the developer's commentary on a second run - it's very interesting to get a look behind the scenes, but there are some spoilers in there.

Completionist's note: Some achievements are very easy to miss, but a second playthrough to get them doesn't take very long.

Ok, this game is good. The voice-overs steal the show and transform this cyberpunk adventure into something great. Please reserve this game if you are a purist of the genre because there is A LOT of PIXEL HUNTING in the DARK (but like BLACK DARK), which is adding to the difficulty. Many endings, lots of achievements. Needed 3 guides to get through it...happy I ended it :)) (P.S: it has some very hard entry code numbers and terminal puzzles, you will need a guide, an interesting fact is there is two ways of solving some puzzles sometimes. I still had 5 different endings but missed an item or two) preventing the "good ending ?"...

Fun if you like the classic point and click experience where you need to search every pixel of the screen for clues, and try combining every item with every other item. There are some interesting philosophical puzzles where people will ask you to consider hypothetical scenarios, because the game is about things like religion, freedom and identity - you can also get these questions wrong and it slightly changes the order of some events (which makes it slightly confusing if you decide to use a walk through).

Played this game when it first came out and loved it. Played it again recently and still adored it. The art, music, voice direction, and story are top tier. It’s one of what I would consider one of the best modern adventure games. I had a great time getting all the achievements and highly recommend listening to the commentary mode on a second playthrough to hear the meaning and development behind the different approaches of philosophy and overall presentation of the game. [i]Primordia[/i]'s posthuman aesthetic presents a narrative of self-determination in a decaying world of robots and ruin. In a place where the fundamental concept of being human is not only ambiguous but forgotten (or never known to begin with), the player is left to grapple with definitions of purpose and morality that necessarily center the ontological "Other."

I liked the writing and characters a lot. It's clear from the start that the player character knows very little about his origins, and the irony of that kind of existence persists throughout the game. The purpose of basic objects is reconstituted to fit a robot's worldview—a technocene whose inhabitants possess little interest in the antecedent anthropocene; theology rebased accordingly. Most amusing are inherited characteristics of accents, language, appearance, and ethical motivations that would be caricatures in human characters... except they're programmed machines based on and functionally mantling humanity. Sometimes the game makes you guess how much they suspect: "Robots don't eat, Crispin." What does?

Gameplay is in a point-and-click puzzle style, with your character exploring a few areas at a time to find parts, construct gadgets, and string together bits of information that reveal more about your world and yourself. The game is [i]extremely[/i] detail-oriented. Expect to rack your brain often.

To my surprise, I never got softlocked. However, I constantly got [i]stuck[/i], including in the very first scene. Unless you're very patient, you'll need the help of a [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=113760352]walkthrough[/url] and might broadly benefit from discussions on places like [url=https://rpgcodex.net/forums/threads/lets-play-primordia.78589/]RPG Codex[/url]. You definitely don't [i]need[/i] these to finish the game, but until you're acquainted with its approach to puzzles, progression is a challenge.

The pixelated art style occasionally makes it difficult to literally see clues/interactive elements, though that's also a tonal advantage. The best way to play the game is actually to think carefully about what objects you possess and how you can use them in your environment; not following a quest marker, nor clicking blindly with every combination of items until something works. I suggest relying heavily on Crispin for hints. He varies from helpful to opaque, but on average he'll do just fine once you understand the basic mechanics.

Performance is good and I encountered zero bugs. My main critique is that the game needs a proper tutorial. My next critique is that it's hard to keep track of the information you've received; there's no quest log. While the game notes key info in a data log, there's often no way to remind yourself of, say, exactly what you've done so far, or the relationship between certain characters after hearing that expository dialogue. If you don't play the game straight through, you'll forget a lot midway, and it might be hard to finish without help. However, I think this is fairly minor since the game is fairly linear, and the data log exists.

Overall, I had a good experience with [i]Primordia[/i] and I recommend it to others. I wish it were longer!

I'm never a fan of multiple endings. There will always be endings that feel moot and boring. Also, it feels odd to reload a save to try and get other endings - so I would rather just deal with the ending I got. But then you get FOMO, especially if the ending felt unsatisfying, which ruins the narrative closure. I would much rather just have a single good ending.

On top of that, I definitely don't wanna end up with only uninteresting endings, because I failed to notice or make the right decisions through the game. And especially in a point'n'click games, I loathe when I can't retry something (especially if the game doesn't tell me I can't!), so I am forced to reload a save or - god forbid - play the entire game again.

Despite leaving me disappointed with a slightly annoying multiple-ending choice (or non-choice), and missed options, I quite liked Primordia! The worldbuilding, art, voice-acting, soundscape and dialogue all worked very well.

Especially I liked the in-world hint system that is your companion. With point'n'click games, you often end up having to use a walkthrough, or suffer walking around oblivious for extended periods of time. Having a companion you can pester for ideas for where to go next was such a relieving addition, which kept the pace of the game engaging. I never needed to use a walkthrough (until the end, see my first complaint).

Pretty good game! I love the dystopian setting and the underlying philosophical themes. The puzzles are logical but the solutions can be hard to get if you don't pay attention. If you're stuck, ask Crispin for hints. And also remember to right click. And also explore the edges of the screen because there may be more space to go. The low res pixelated art style was annoying in the beginning but it stopped being an issue once I got used to it.

I don't play a lot of point anc click games, it wasn't part of my taste.
Then, why Primordia?
Well...

I love robots.

I didn't enter the game totally blind, i saw about it on a video talking about 3 phylosophical pieces of media that contained decaying worlds and were based on technology and this game was one of these reccomendations. I immediately loved everything about it.
First, the art is WONDERFUL. I'd love to do art as incredible as the one this game has.
Second, I didn't know what to do and I'm not afraid to say i used a walkthrough sometimes but that didn't make the experiencie less enjoyable for me, it just helped a little. Still, for the 85% i did by my myself i loved the mechanics and how you can do the puzzles and interactions by yourself and all the characters have something to say.
With that said i go to the third point: the writing. As a rookie writer this game feels AWESOME in every part of the story. It's really such an inspiration, I love it. I can't criticize the story as a professional person, but as a fan i can say it's really the best.

I haven't finished getting all the achievements at the point of writing this, but still...

I would love to play it again without knowing what it is about.

Also the music is a banger.

Ha alcuni lati negativi, quali alcuni bug legati alle porte (le porte a volte non compaiono come selezionabili, anche quando fanno parte degli enigmi) e soffre del problema nel creare storie altamente tecnologiche ma "aliene": a volte non è chiaro come combinare gli oggetti tecnologici per comporne altri e si tende ad andare a tentativi.

The game is genuinely fantastic, from the start it nails the feeling of being in a larger world with a lot more to learn about, the two main characters are both incredibly well written, and their chemistry is strong which makes them a fantastic emotional core to the story, with really good acting to seal the deal, the whole game has this air of charisma and intrigue that kept me interested all the way, the sci-fi setting that reminded me of things like Dune is something I really enjoy, the team at Wormwood are so good at building settings for their stories that specifically appeal to me.

The puzzles as a whole always make enough sense, that is when you develop a habit of rubbing every item in your inventory with every other item in case things can be merged together, I had to look up a guide for some things but it's not unlikely the average point and click fan doesn't figure it out themselves without help, especially with the hints from Crispin.

The story is great and the world is full of minor details that flesh it out, my only criticism is I don't like how the endings play out, I don't like when games give you a bunch of levers to pull and each one gives you a little cutscene and sends you on your way, I did every ending and none of them in my opinion did justice to the fantastic narrative up to that point, would've loved if the main villain was more involved in the story earlier apart from one scene where they appear to basically say "hey just FYI I'm the main villain see you when you reach the end" but my feelings toward it overall were very positive, and two of the endings atleast felt like an appropriate conclusion.

this game rekindled my love for P&C adventure games, a genre i hadnt touched in years. i loved the story, characters, the extremely unique and original artstyle and same goes for the soundtrack.

Half of the puzzles are really bad. One time your flying friend told you, he don't have arms to do something and next he easily pushing rag and finger into the Goliath nostrils like he has the pair of hands. He made that confusing action multiply times. Some obvious thing didn't work unless you click with right mouse button somewhere. And there is a lot such things, not difficult but confusing player. Puzzle where you must realize somehow key words in information terminal just awful. I still didn't find a single description where the player have to find it, only ready list of words.
In despite of weak confusing puzzles, other aspects of the game is very good made, i really liked it.

This is the first Point & Click game that made me grab a notebook to write down every minute detail from the puzzles to the story as I progressed the game. I love the world-building and the lore so much.

The gameplay could use some fixing… like having a button to display all the interactable interests in the area in case the players cannot missed it due to the pixelated style of the game. And for some reasons I couldn’t figure out how to read the gospel and only discovered that out in late-game by right-clicking on items. So, I was missing out alot… Also this game has a save option and you can name them which is really sweet.

I will replay this without any guide to get other achivements because I want to unfold the stories myself.

a bit afraid to make this post as i am pretty confident the developers read these and i do not want to seem as a prick, i really appreciate your hardwork on the game and it truly left me with an unforgettable experience. but now to move on...
I really enjoyed the story, but some of the puzzles are some of the biggest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of all time. you need to play this with a walkthrough on a different tab. and any puzzle game that requires such a thing is a bad puzzle game. oh but the story and setting and voice acting is SO good. big sideways thumb for me.

for some examples of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ puzzles without direct spoiling, they often include pixelhunting, like literally just moving your mouse around frantically looking for anything that interactable, and some interactables really are literally only a few pixels big. its ridiculous. or the game will tell you one thing when thats not actually true. it will tell me directly after interacting with an object "ah there is nothing of use for this, or inside it, it has been scrapped in it's entirely" but you actually need to click on it with a crowbar to get materials inside it that are important and necessary to progress. it does that lying crap A LOT and i am too gullible and fall for it every time. the game tells me to not waste my time interacting with something, but i actually DO need to experiment with it. and the hints given to you by Crispin are just not helpful at all. you'll be stuck in a room with a locked door and Crispin's hint will be "we gotta open that door somehow!" im gonna ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scream. this puzzles do get a decent bit better after the Dune section imo, and i struggled a lot less after that, but thats also partly because i was adjusted to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the game was flinging me

if you forbid this being a puzzle game at all and look everything up, you will enjoy it. if you stare at your screen for over an hour trying to figure it out only to eventually give up and learn you just didnt see the singular pixel on the floor in a random room that was a required item? you will not enjoy this.

Enjoyed this p&c. I liked the story, the characters and their dynamic. The dialogues were interesting, didn't feel the urge to skip. I also like that there are different endings and they actually come with unique animations and details. The puzzles were sometimes hard to figure out but I'm fine with consulting a guide.
The only thing I didn't love was graphics. Like other reviews have mentioned, you do end up pixel hunting. The art and style in general fits the setting, though.
Otherwise a nice game, felt like reading a short story with some extra brain exercise.

I really appreciate that it not only has several endings, but that they cover a wide spectrum from surrender to defiance, from bad to good to secret to perfect. That kind of nuance is what sets a story above the pack.

A beautifully illustrated, wonderfully written, charming and melancholic point-and-click game that's not too overcomplicated but also gets you to think! Filled with lovely characters and puzzles that newcomers to the genre will be able to piece together with just the right amount of challenge, but you may need to squint at times. (There IS one part of a puzzle however that's a *little* too vague in my opinion, but there's a nicegamehints guide that nudges you along without spoiling too much, if you want it.)

The atmosphere is amazing and there are some moments that genuinely creeped me out (and moments that had me laughing,) I stayed up till 4 AM totally engrossed in it-- would recommend you buy it at full price too!

Also Crispin is best boi, I love that b'soding lil tin can!

В игре также есть 7 концовок (доступность части из них зависит от ваших действий во время прохождения, а часть будет доступна вам всегда).

Primordia hat eine ausgezeichnete post-apokalyptische Story. Die Geschichte packt einen sofort und man möchte gerne alle möglichen Enden kennenlernen :D Der Art-Style ist ein hübscher Bonus und passt super zur Atmosphäre. Auch wenn das Spiel bereits recht alt ist, kann ich es nur empfehlen.

Very cool story and I really liked how the bits of mysteries/lore set up throughout the game, clicked towards the end.

The puzzles were fresh and interesting to me, but I didn't like a few that required pixel-hunting. Graphically, while I'm used to pixel characters, I would have liked the painted backgrounds to be sharper and more detailed because they look so unique.

Overall, a very satisfying experience by the end.

I've only had Crispin for a day and a half, but if anything happened to him, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself.

Yes, that's how I'm going to start this review. With that statement and only completing chapter 1 out of 3 if I'm right.
Have I only played an hour? Yes and it should have not taken that long. But that's the thing about me, I love the click and point games, but royalty suck at them. So if ya can pick up on things easier than me or a pro at these types of games, you'll finish this game in an afternoon. Ah my damn attention span.

So far, I ADORE the banter of Horatio, our MC, and his sidekick Crispin. If you like the old dry, sarcastic family tv show banter, then ya in good company.

Story is very interesting as you are trying to get a power core for your House/machine that your enemy had the gall to steal from you. And that means time is limited as you are indeed a robot and you need to recharge. So with what little can do and have, you need to track the MF and get your stuff back.

Weirdly you will run into people that seem to know you, but you don't remember them. Apparently you are the 5th version of yourself and the previous versions of you memories are not good. Really the only thing that sticks out is that you hate the city. Which is too bad because that means, whether you played 5 mins of this game or the first chapter, you're 10000% going into the city.

Would recommend this game if you like the point n click games or you are looking for a entry into the genre with a sci-fi twist.

I'm in two minds about this one. As with a lot of other Wadjet Eye point-and-click-adventure games it has fantastic art, a great soundtrack, a fascinating story, well-designed puzzles and a good cast. BUT I can't stand the fact that everything is the same ugly, murky brown, making it actually really difficult to spot certain key items in a swamp of dirty sepia. Not my favourite offering from this publisher but still very much worth checking out.

Madre mía qué juegazo. El prota me ha enamorado 🥰🤖

Tiene el tono, tiene la atmósfera, tiene robots con distintas personalidades muy elaboradas, puzzles de todo tipo (algunos muy muy difíciles), distopía de las buenas, toques de humor, una historia interesante y elaborada... ¡lo tiene todo!

Mención especial al apartado sonoro y visual. Qué delicia.
Visualmente algunos escenarios me han recordado en estilo al The Whispered World, y eso es MUY BUENO.
El diseño de personajes también está genial, y la narrativa magnífica.

Muchas gracias por hacer este juego. Me ha gustado muchísimo de principio a fin.
Lo recomiendo mucho a cualquier amante de aventuras gráficas point & click, y también si te gusta leer ciencia ficción. Si esto fuera un libro lo tendría en mi estantería orgullosísima.
