dude this game is freaking awesome
i have never had more fun playing a horror game while simultanoeilsy being scared for my life. The scares are genuine and had me clinging to my seat.
the story is super compelling and leaves room for theory crafting which is always fun to do. The comedy hits hard and the character design is nothing less of peak. If you are a fan of horror games and you haven't played this game then you need to change that.

This game changed my life for the better. I have played tons of games in my past time and never have I gotten on my hands and knees and prayed for a sequel more than when I finished Potato Thriller Steamed Potato Edition. The voice acting was beautiful, the Graphics are jaw dropping, the game presented me with challenge but never made me feel like I had to look up a guide to finish it. And the Gameplay, it just never gets old... I could play this game 5 more times and never get bored, 50 times and never get bored, 500 times and never get bored, even 5,000 times and I would still cherish every time I played it. This game is a must play, if you have $5 extra dollars sitting around, play this game; if you have friends or family close to you, make them play this game, I truly believe that this game would make them see the world in a new way, maybe they would even see something about themselves in which they have never seen before... 11/10 game would buy and play again.

I have the upmost admiration for this game and would recommend it to anyone with good taste in games like all of Samer's games. I had only played Giraffe town but when researching who made that masterpiece I came across and purchased all of his other games. I am super excited for his next game to come out "Holiday Harry" which im sure I will love with all my heart. I am sure that every work to come from Samer to be full of personality and fun gameplay 10/10 great game!

I beat this game in 2018, I will beat it again in 2025, it's truly a must have game, you should beat it a lot, the story is so good and it's lovable and memorable to the fullest, it's honestly an achievement in game development history on a high level that doesn't get the recognition it deserves, truly a hood classic

this game is honestly such a fever dream. its stupid and honestly pretty funny and unserious. i reccommend this game if youre bored and want to be confused with a strange experience.
Overall Rating: 2/10 - It gets a 2 cause there is some comedy to it. Feels like the people that made it were definitely on something. Ive heard of additional things I probably didn't get to see because I only played for an hour, but the game gets soooo repetitive that it's just insanely boring and the novelty wears off quite quickly. I would have loved to continue and beat it, but going through the same room over and over and over for an hour, I just don't understand why they couldn't make it a bit more linear. I wouldn't even recommend this game if it was free. The devs should have kept with the "funnies" and made it simpler and a bit more linear. Again it just gets boring doing the same thing over and over. Don't recommend, even for the "novelty" of it.

I just wish this game had a walkthrough. It's hilariously bad, in both looks and actual game design. But I had a lot of fun going through trying to find all the secrets. Some of which I haven't found but others have.

This game is fascinating.
Story-wise, it's great. Very self aware. It pokes fun at the beautifully insane writing of Hideo Kojima, subverts your expectations and is sure to get a few laughs. Best enjoyed while streaming, or with some friends, for sure.
Gameplay wise, it's quite rough around the edges. Controls are competent and explained well enough, but the stealth mechanics can be inconsistent and the Difficulty ranges from "Fisher Price Toy" to "Playing Five Finger Fillet with a chainsaw." I would say that at least two of the levels in [spoiler] Potato Tower [/spoiler] qualify this game for being a Torture Platformer.
That said, despite being rough, I didn't come across any game breaking bugs. This is clearly a game which had a lot of work and passion put into it, and I'm certainly looking forward to what Samer Khatib puts out next!
For the price of a cup of coffee, this game's a bargain and well worth playing in a Discord call with some friends.

I have been on this platform for well over 5 years, I've play a multitude of "bad" or "Mediocre" games and still found them somewhat enjoyable. This however, was one of the most painful experiences I've ever subjected myself to. This game made me self harm 0/10. Might be one of the worst games I've ever played and I hope the developers of this hot garbage never find love or joy in their pathetic lives

best game i have ever played. the drama between lama the lemon and the potato man is extreme while the helipear is flying. the sidestory of the potato man was even better, even though he was harrassed and called a donkey a few times. I fully recommend this.

The ending is a truly life changing experience; it puts into perspective how much life is the connections between people. Without this spiritual experience I would be dead, would be a painful memory for this world to remember but with this game I am renewed in fact might now be god.

Not as crazy or funny as I thought it would be. Pretty boring actually. It’s just very slow paced and the gameplay is just a drag. The trailer is pretty misleading. Gameplay is nothing like that.

Potato Thriller is a comedy game that "parodies" PT. I use parenthesises around parodies because Potato Thriller more just uses pieces from PT rather than critique the game, well unless the critique is that PT is very boring. Which leads us to our next point, Potato Thriller is boring. I went into Potato Thriller expecting at the very least an interesting experience but found myself bored as a gourd playing it. This mostly has to do with the repetitive level and the drip feed pacing of the jokes. I'll admit I did find some of the jokes charming and funny but the game takes to long to get to them and even repeats them sometimes, which was never funny. Again I didn't go into Potato Thriller expecting high art or even good design but even with my bar so low I was let down by it. I don't recommend it.
