I spent more money a background than what this game costs, like nearly 6 euros.
So Eastern Poland will be continued to neglected.
5/5 Game, classic.
While it's a recommendation, it's more of a neutral for me personally. While the humor is good, and the game doesn't take itself remotely seriously (which i appreciate, it was a nice break), it's also a LOT grindier than it really needs to be. Getting money is solely on picking up coins while in flight (or hitting germany/swiss), which makes actually going high up both prohibitively difficult and unrewarding, which feels like the opposite of what you'd want in a game about... going high up. The core concept is sound, and the charm is there, but the actual game is a lot longer and harsher than it should've been IMO, and would've been an immediate recommendation if it wanted you to farm even half as much money. As it is, though, if you've got patience and enjoy the core concept it's decent fun, otherwise, it might be a bit too long to be fun if your goal is getting to the end.

If you wanna get into space Kerbal Space Program is a better option. Game feels clunky with cartoonish visuals. Progression system is slow so you have to grind your way a lot. Play only if you like games like Learn to Fly and similar genre with progression system allowing you to get further and further but still there isn't much to offer.

Behold: The most accurate simulation of Poland’s space program ever made (read: a physics disaster wrapped in MS Paint memes). Every launch is a rollercoaster of emotions:
- Pride ("Look, mama! I made Polska fly!")
- Denial ("That explosion was totally planned.")
- Rage ("CZEMU LITWA’S ROCKET WORK?!")
- Resignation ("Fine, maybe Germany’s engineering IS better…")
The game perfectly captures the Polish experience: Ambition fueled by pure spite, held together by duct tape and the haunting voice of Jan Paweł II whispering "Nie poddawaj się."
10/10 – Would suffer Polish engineering again. ♥♥♥♥♥, we’re technically in space! (If you count spinning uncontrollably at ground level as "space".)

The first hour of the game is straight grind.
After that, you'll have finally upgraded your ship to something that can maneuver about as well as a toilet, and begin to think about Polen into Space.
But that "Amazing End Movie" cinematic for beating the game?
It's nearly nothing.
Earning coins for achieving a new altitude would've been a good design that's missing. As-is there's no reason to get higher until your toilet ship can begin to think about making it to the moon.
Save yourself 3 or 4 hours and watch the animation of the original comic strip that inspired this game instead.
Or play one of the better Polandball games out there: literally any of them.

My overseas friend recommended Bang on Balls: Chronicles. When he was describing the game, he mentioned the word "polandball" and I assumed the game was called Polandball. After some abbot and costello like miscommunication misadventures, I bought this game twice, one for me and one for him. In a show of appreciation, he bought me Kingdom Come Deliverance, only to then realize that I had bought the wrong game. So in a way, I scammed my friend and got a better game out of it.

It is a fun(ny) polandball game where you try to reach the moon as Poland avoiding other countryballs along the way. It gets boring and repetitive after some time, but it is definitely enjoyable for a while.

Let’s say that, hypothetically, you really did have unlimited breadsticks. Now, since they are unlimited, that means that you will never run out. However, on Earth there is a limited supply of the materials required to make breadsticks. Thus, if I were to attempt to eat as many breadsticks as possible, I would not be able to as eventually you would sell out, am I correct? Now that we have established that there are infinite breadsticks but finite supplies to make them, would it not be reasonable to conclude that you are either breaking the laws of physics, or are lying to me? And since one cannot break the laws of physics, logically you must be lying to me. Facts don’t care about your feelings liberals, you have committed the crime of false advertising and must give me free food or I will inform the authorities.
This is a hard but great game!

Fun little game, but be warned that your save data is only local, and is not transferred via cloud.
Found this out the hard way when I downloaded it on a new laptop to get the couple of achievements I didn't have.
Some references are slightly outdated (as it's been 7 years, duh), and there's only 2 dozen different countries.
So, why the positive review?
Gameplay is slightly grindy, but nice nonetheless. Similar to mobile games.
The references and designs of the countryballs in the game are well-done.
There's a singular song, but it's alright to listen to on repeat (for like 20 minutes)
It's worth the 3 dollars if you're a fan of polandball / countryballs.
If you're waiting for a sale, it hasn't happened in 18 months...

A completed the mobile phone version of this game a few years ago for experience; it's thankfully the same and I liked the additional dialogue from all the characters during gameplay to give it more pizzazz or whatever.
Also, I finally looked up Countryballs on Know Your Meme; now I know why Polandball can into space.
I just wish Kamilabalashov didn't hack into my account and stole the money from my Steam Wallet, otherwise I'd try buying the Trading Cards necessary for the Profile Badges...

Игра из тех времен, когда были популярны кантриболы и Польша была стронг, но не могла в космос.
Очень простенькая игра, думаю многие во что то похожее играли. Собираем монетки и пытаемся улететь всё дальше с каждым разом. В этой простоте и заключается ее приятное притяжение, а милый стиль с уже полюбившимися многим шарами в виде стран так же добавляют свою долю.
Отличная игра на один вечерок. Не стоит от нее ожидать чего то масштабного, но как аркадка на пару часов она себя показывает максимально хорошо.

Very fun game and works well on the Steam Deck via Proton Experimental.
Controlling the ship might be frustrating at first (and I believe it’s intended) until you get some upgrades.
Already finished it on the N. Switch a while ago and I couldn’t resist playing it on the SD as well.
I wish it had Cloud Save support, more funny dialogue between the country balls and better controller support (although that can be tweaked in settings).
Overall, I can’t recommend this game enough - it’s short, fun and cheap.
I hope Pollen will embark other adventures in the future.

Basically a Countryballs version of Learn To Fly, with more gameplay elements that makes it more of an active playthrough. It's faithful to Countryball lore and Has plenty of countryball references.
The game is nostalgic but has more fun to it than others of the same kind of games. the song that keeps playing all the time would be nice if there was some other one too. but the game was great! absolutely worth the price!

Unlike other similar games, the "sense of progression" is infuriatingly slow here.
It's also infuriating to play. You have boosters. These boosters are big green dots on the map, implying they're good for you. Except you go so fast, you have no control and more often than not will get stuck in a ball and lose lots of health.
Sometimes, there are so many enemies on screen, it's mandatory to simply just plow through them and hope one doesn't get stuck on you.
And oh my, will enemies get stuck on you. Time and time again.
It's simply not fun to play. It's infuriating. The game is actually managing to make me pissed off when playing it.
Hard, HARD not recommended. And I play a lot of trash.
A nice game based off Countryballs. Simple to understand, but you need to play quite a bit to get actually good. :)

Podczas zbierania pieniędzy, musisz też stale uzupełniać paliwo, znajdując zbiorniki z benzyną ( i tak, wszystko zbierasz po drodze wzwyż ) i raz na jakiś czas zjeść burgera ( również znajdującego się w przestworzach ), aby uzupełnić zdrowie.
Warto w tym przepadku posiłkować się radarem, na którym widać wszystkie warte uwagi obiekty, jak i przeszkody.

Jednak Polandball: Can Into Space, to coś więcej niż zwykła gra typu "zbuduj rakietę i leć w kosmos". Czasami okazuje się trafną metaforą stanu Europy, w której Polska jest jednym z niewielu krajów, których poprawność polityczna i uchodźcy nie rozdzierają na strzępy.

O jogo pode parecer simples mas ele te prende e você consegue jogar por horas sem enjoar e sempre melhorando sua nave e comprando atributos. Pra quem gosta das tirinhas da Polandball esse é um ótimo jogo já que ele é lotado de referências e memes, já começando pelo meme dela não ir para o espaço e além disso tem outras Countryballs fazendo referências a países e algumas até com habilidades especiais, a do Brasil é uma bola de futebol.

Its probably one of the most relaxing games i have
i useally play it if im waiting for something (school to start, etc) or if im not tired enough to sleep but im too tired to play any mentally demanding games.
You just cruise a spaceship in space, what more can you ask for?
The music is also amazing. like the music is so good sometimes i just play the game to hear it. it never gets old or boring.

Если перефразировать песню, то ракету она слепила из того что было ну а что слепила, на том и полетела. Только вот другие страны довольно негативно настроены по отношению к польской космической программе. Но Польша должна попасть на Луну, несмотря на все вредительства со стороны других стран!

If you're a fan of the Polandball community, I think you'll find this to be an incredibly fun, arcade-style game. While the mechanics and goal are fairly straightforward, the quest to build that better rocket will undoubtedly keep you coming back.
It's a meme, but other than that, there's almost zero game in this.

Also the whole thing is cheated. It is not "harder than it looks" at all.
It really is just that you cannot win before upgrading your ship to a certain point. Other balls kill you without following any mechanics. You can see in the mini-map how they move to stick to you no matter what you do. Those paterns stop when you achieve to build every parts

Как такового сюжета в игре нет, поэтому приходится включить воображение и додумать его на основании увиденного. Итак, жила-была маленькая страна Польша, жила не то чтобы богато, но уж точно не бедно. Жила она себе спокойно на Земле, пока в голову ей не пришла одна шальная мыслишка: «Да чем я хуже всех этих ваших сверхдержав, долечу до космоса и покажу всем, что и маленькая страна может быть крутой!». Сказано-сделано, из гoвнa и подножного корма она сооружает себе звездолет и отправляется через тернии к звездам. Теперь Польше предстоит долгий путь, на нем она не раз столкнется с кучей враждебных стран, которые так и норовят вставить ей палки в колеса.
Игра та еще сатира на геополитическую ситуацию в мире. Ну где еще вы увидите Польшу, которая заявит размахивающей катаной Японии, что, дескать, я тебе не Перл-Харбор? Да нигде, конечно. Россия и Китай тут имеют довольно большие габариты и располагают магнитным полем, которое (вот неожиданность!) притягивает страны поменьше. А вы знаете, как в этой игре быстрее всего поднакопить деньжат? Просто влететь в другую страну под нужным углом, да, в этом случае вы лишитесь части здоровья, но взамен пополните казну. Как тонко, однако! И вот таких приятных и очень забавных мелочей в игре вагон и маленькая тележка.
«ЧЕРЕЗ ТЕРНИИ К ЗВЕЗДАМ!»
Описание:
Игра представляет собой казуальную рогалик-аркаду, где вам предстоит управлять ракетой с Польшей на борту. Управление наипростейшее – WASD, где W – поддать газку, S – заглушить двигатели и отправиться в свободное падение, а AD отвечают за крен в определенную сторону. Цель игры предельно проста – добраться до космоса. Ваш прогресс фиксируется на шкале, расположенной с правой стороны экрана. Хотите выжить – собирайте канистры с топливом и гамбургеры, которые пополняют запас здоровья. Но это еще не все, в небе разбросаны доллары, на которые можно прокачать ракету, и магниты, в течении короткого времени притягивающие все остальные бонусы.
Не пройдет и минуты, как вы поймете, что практически все страны настроены к маленькой, но гордой Польше агрессивно. За вами тут же увяжется клыкастая Румыния, которая будет высасывать из вас все соки. Шотландия в килте и с мечом наперевес так и норовит подлететь и больно им рубануть. Это же можно сказать и о Японии, только вооружена она катаной. Германия вальяжно летает по небу с кружкой пива в руке, а Россия с Китаем статно висят себе в одной точке, притягивая своим магнитным полем тех, кто подлетел слишком близко. И только укуренным в хлам Ямайке и Нидерландам плевать на все, эти ребята за счет выдыхаемых наркотических паров слегка ускоряют нашу ракету.
С первых двадцати попыток вы навряд ли долетите до космоса. И дело тут вовсе не в том, что вы рукожопый имбецил, а в том, что ваша ракета, как я сказал выше, сделана из гoвнa и подножного корма. Для того, чтобы это исправить, придется копить доллары и проводить полномасштабный апргейд летательного аппарата. Улучшать можно как чисто цифровые показатели в виде максимальной скорости, управляемости, прочности и так далее, так и внешний вид, причем новые детали затрагивают и характеристики ракеты.
Визуально игра выглядит средненько. Ни классного дизайна, ни уж тем более крутой технологичной графики здесь вы не увидите. В этой ситуации радует одно – ну хоть не тормозит. А вот с музыкой дела обстоят немного получше. Саундтрек получился залипательным и в хорошем смысле слова с дурцой. Слегка омрачает положение его однообразность, но это бич всех малобюджетных инди проектов.
Что в задумке: Берём кантриболы, берём юмор, берём геги, добавляем простенький и интересный гемплей, хорошую музыку и получаем шедевр.
Что в реализации:
Хорошая музыка начинает надоедать через час. Через четыре она уже откровенно подбешивает.
Кантриболы - они есть. Всё. Весь юмор заканчивается за первый час. За этот час вы успеете увидеть всё что есть.
Графика - это кантриболы, какая здесь может быть графика. Стиль выдержан и на этом спасибо.
Геймплей.
И вот на нём то как раз всё и загибается окончательно.
Играть в"это" интересно первые полчаса, пока ещё есть на что посмотреть и что изучить. После этого начинаешь понимать что оно не просто повторяется, оно однотипно до безобразия. Конечно ещё теплится надежда, что если долететь повыше, то начнётся хоть что-то новое, но нет, появиться несколько новых кантриболов и всё, остальное останется тем же тупым, скучным и нудным гриндом.
Помогает убить игру отсутствие системы прогресса, т.е. что на первом чекпоинте, что на пятом, всё неизменно, монеты, топливо и т.д. Кроме количества мешающих кантриболов, оно то благополучно растёт, что превращает нудятину в раздражающую нудятину.
Добивают всё это "счастье" то, что power-up'ы генерируются не в начале раунда, а в процессе полёта. И через какое-то время становиться ясно, что проще всего летать кругами недалеко от земли, тупо и методично фармя монеты. После этого за пару попыток долететь до конца, закрыть игру и никогда больше не запускать.
Что могло бы дать этой игре хоть что-то:
1. Та самая система прогресса: появление новых power-up'ов, добавление новых механик, да хотя бы простое увеличение награды при достижении новых чекпоинтов. Чтобы был хоть какой-то смысл лететь выше, кроме как долететь до конца, что невозможно без покупки большинства деталей.
2. Уменьшение стоимости апгрейдов. Да, игра стала бы заметно короче. Но лучше пусть она будет пройдена за два часа, не успев надоесть и оставив приятное послевкусие, чем превратится в ту нудятину, которой она становиться.
Достоинства:
+ Залипательный игровой процесс
+ Вагон и маленькая тележка забавных аллюзий
+ Много возможностей для прокачки ракеты
+ Приятная музыкальная тема
Недостатки:
- Сюжет пришлось додумывать самому
- Визуально игра выглядит средненько
- Однообразная музыка
ВЫВОД: Polandball: Can into Space! обладает важным качеством для любой хорошей игры – увлекательностью. При кажущейся простоте она затягивает настолько сильно, что время, проведенное в ней, пролетает незаметно.
