At first, I thought the gameplay would be too monotonous, but I was completely wrong. There’s much more to discover as the game progresses, and it’s far more engaging than I initially expected. I won’t spoil anything, but trust me—there’s depth here that goes beyond what you see at first.
This game is a piece of art. I recommend playing it when you have some quiet time to yourself, as interruptions can really break the immersion (I know from experience!).

I like the art, its quite pretty - but it just gets so difficult, I find my shoulders tensing to my neck trying to move the stupid ball with perfection through tight places over and over and being locked into one area for so long I decided I just don't care anymore. Like for whatever reason, this stresses me out more than it relaxes me - despite the lovely art and beautiful music.
I'm still giving this a thumbs up though - because I do think, for people who really enjoy this kind of thing - its probably a great way to unwind, relax, and just zone out. Its just not my jam.

The aesthetics and cool mechanical idea make you think this is going to be a great game, but do not let them fool you. The controls are janky, and the puzzle design is mostly "figure out where this block outside the screen is, then jump there with pixel perfect accuracy". If you enjoy that kind of thing, go for it. Checkpoints are plentiful, thankfully, but exploring this "metaphorical world" is not actually fun.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

An enjoyable platformer. So far it's been a nice game to get absorbed in moving through the levels, the movement is very fluid if a bit hard to control for me, but it's forgiving enough that I don't run into too much trouble and can get past tricky parts in a reasonable amount of time. The respawn points are always nearby so you don't waste time replaying parts you already got past. I feel it's worth the cost.

Mas o meu real motivo para compra-lo foi a sua trilha sonara (que não recebi ao comprar o conjunto) e como o jogo não é muito conhecido, buscar informações sobre o mesmo é ainda mais difícil. Fora que o prazo do reembolso esta acabando.

WASD로 이동하며 스페이스로 색(검은색과 흰색)을 바꾸는 게 이 게임의 전부이며, 게임의 목표는 여러 장애물을 피하며 골인 지점에 도착하는 것으로, 총 10 스테이지로 구성되어 있으며 스테이지마다 여러 개의 Morse dot과 3개의 Story symbol을 모을 수 있고, 해당 스테이지를 클리어할 경우 스테이지의 전체적인 그림을 보여준다. 그림은 후술할 모스부호 메세지의 이미지인듯하다.
이 게임은 그 흔한 점프조차 없고, 상하좌우 이동과 색을 바꿔 검은색 부분과 흰색 부분을 드나드는 이동밖에 없다(= 다른 색으로 이동할 때의 반동으로 점프를 할 수 있다). 여타 플랫포머 게임과 달리 이동의 조작이 단순하여 게임의 난이도는 꽤나 쉬운 편이다. 수집요소인 모스부호 점과 스토리 심볼은 몇몇 개를 제외하고 대부분 진행 루트 쪽에 있기 때문에 수집하는 데 큰 어려움은 없다. 게임의 분량은 슬슬 지겨워져서 끄고 싶어질 때 끝난다.
이 게임은 스테이지를 다 클리어하고 난 뒤 보여주는 아트워크가 상당히 인상적인데 내가 지나온 길이 전체의 정말 작은 일부분이었다는 것에서 허무함이 느껴지고, 오직 흑백으로만 표현된 그림에서 삭막할 정도로 차가운 인상이 느껴진다. 여러 색이 쓰이거나 특출나게 그림이 예쁘지 않음에도 불구하고 보는 맛은 꽤 있었다.
게임 내 스토리라고 할만한 것은 딱히 없으며, 개발자가 스테이지마다 모스부호로 남긴 여러 메시지가 있다. 모스부호 점을 해석해 보면 그 내용은 다음과 같다. (검은색 - dot , 흰색 - dash)

I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, picked my character and world and started playing but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

Großartiger Plattformer, sehr entspannte Musik, sehr reduzierter Grafikstil und nette Idee mit der Gravitation zu spielen. Das erfordert manchmal etwas Hirnschmalz und Reaktionszeit, aber das Spiel ist ohne Worte und Erklärungen verständlich und gut spielbar. Ich hätte mir nur ein paar mehr Variablen der Gefahren gewünscht wie: bewegte Plattformen, zeitlich begrenzte Plattformen, andere Hindernisse, Gegner etc. aber so war es doch sehr aufs wesentliche reduziert.

This is above all an incredibly beautiful game with a very chill gameplay.
The concept is not new, but it feels refreshing. And it's relaxing, unlike many puzzle games with complicated mechanics and steep difficulty curves.
Soundtrack is awesome, and goes hand to hand with the visuals.

Нажимая на "Пробел", кружок переходит из светлого мира в тёмный. Используя данную особенность, его нужно провести направо (в основном) до телепорта в конце уровня.
Преградами сразу же становятся особенности рельефа, так что придётся наловчиться в пике-рывке при смене цветовых сред.
По мере ползанья нас ждут побеги на время, распускание цветов, гравитационные кочки, своеобразные подъёмники, шестеренки и прочие механизмы переноса, а также инвертированное управление в одном месте.
Смысла для игрока и персонажа во всём этом продвижении никакого, его, при большом желании, можно попытаться найти в названиях достижений.
Однако, музыкальное сопровождение довольно приятное и расслабляющее, поэтому вероятность "rage-quit" изначально минимальна.
Прохождение всех 9 уровней занимает 2-2,5 часа, если Вы не особо сосредоточены и не идёте сразу на "платину".
Ничего высокого плане истории и модели физики в игре нет, но подвигаться в ней можно, особенно если Вы падки на легкие ачивки.

- L'abilità con cui l'intero gioco riesce a sintetizzare il concetto di equlibrio universale alla base dello Yin e lo Yang, da cui si deve esplicitamente partire per comprendere appieno il tutto
- Gli svariati simbolismi da cui è ulteriormente esaltato (per dire, basti far caso al titolo stesso...)

Um jogo em preto e branco que é mais que um jogo em preto e branco. Não sei dizer se gostei ou não. Ora sinto que sim, ora sinto que não. Como não posso negativar e positivar ao mesmo tempo, irei positivar.

OVIVO is a really atmospheric surrealist-of-sorts platformer. The general gameplay requires you to change between being black/white in a black/white environment, which impacts how gravity affects you/how you move through the game. The game feels challenging, but not too difficult (unless you're like me where at one point you get lost and end up trying to go backwards for 30 minutes. As it turns out, this game is ridiculously difficult to do in reverse lol), and the music adds to the overall chill vibe of the game. It reminds me of other games in the pretty platformer genre such as Ynglet and Onde.
Overall, this is a solid pick for a platformer game that is beautiful to look at and highly enjoyable to play. The regular price feels appropriate for the length of the game and is easy to recommend to others if you tend to enjoy this genre.

Sau schönes kleines Spiel. Den Artstyle finde ich wirklich Hammer und die Form des Platformings um entspannt die Kulisse zu erleben finde ich passt auch super.
OVIVO es un juego de habilidad poco convencional. La idea de jugar con la gravedad, haciendo que la pelota suba o baje según si el color de fondo es blanco o negro (y solo veremos estos dos colores durante el juego), ya de por sí es bastante original, pero si cada uno de los 9 niveles disponibles es de por sí una obra de arte que bien podría estar en un lienzo de cualquier museo, entonces podemos estar seguros que estamos ante un título diferente.
En ese sentido es un juego que merece la pena probar. Un título casual donde el cometido es disfrutar de una partida tranquila. Sin embargo, se me antoja demasiado fácil, y siendo ya de por sí poco extenso, su durabilidad es de apenas 3 horas. Demasiado poco, y ello resta enteros a la nota global.
En definitiva, podrás disfrutar de una obra de arte en cada nivel, y avanzar por ella y descubrir sus secretos mientras te relajas con su banda sonora sosegada, pero por un tiempo demasiado corto.

이동을 하면서 추진력을 얻고 이를 통해 나아가야하는 구간도 있는대
좌우 이동과 색반전만 있고 점프가 없기에 이를 잘 이용해야하죠.
그러면서 점들을 수집하고 문양들을 수집하여 다음 지역으로 넘어가는대...
딱히 지도나 안내 없이 길인갑다하고 진행을 해야합니다.
이게 잘 가고있는건지 확신이 가지 않는 경우도 있고
뭔가 길들이 어려워지고 어지러워지기도 하고....

本質上是2DD動作遊戲，後期有可能卡關會比較煩，也可能是我不擅長動物遊戲吧

Already absolutely in love with this game! I got it for 50 cents on the steam sale, but I would say it's 100% worth the $5 price tag as well.
First, what is the premise of the game? You are a little monochrome ball in a monocrome world. Navigating your way through the curves of a piece of art. You do not have the ability to jump though. Instead you must use the space bar to switch between being in the black parts of the artwork or the white. Everything in the game is curvy. So you have to use momentum and gravity to your advantage to leave from spot to spot.
Confusing? Not really. At first it took me a second to really get a handle on it, but once I got in the groove it is pretty easy to between the black and white in a way that I could maintain moment and go from platform to platform.
Now I say easy, but there is still some complexness to what you are doing. In each piece of art there are little balls that you are collecting, don't know why but you are, as well as circles with different symbols in them. The game doesn't explain much but I am assuming that both of these things are just collectibles and are not required to proceed in the game. Just the exit is required. None the less I found myself trying to find all the things and there were a few areas where I found the large circles with symbols and was absolutely stumped on how to reach them. Eventually resigning to come back to it later. So far I have made it to the end of 3 levels but I have every intention of going back and trying to find all the things.
The artwork is also beautiful. You will see the full scope of what you have been navigating once you find the exit to the level when the camera zooms out and you see what you have been doing. All the art is the kind where you work with negative space to create a picture and so far I've taken a snap shot of every level because the artwork is very pretty.
I have no clue at this point, with my mere 30 minutes of gameplay, how much game is actually here. However I can see it having endless replay value, for me personally, even if it ends up being very short because it's just such a damn delight once you get your ball really moving and you are bouncing back and forth seamlessly between black and white pieces. It's definitely a timing thing, and I would aaaaaaaaaaallllllll most say it is a precision platformer as your timing being off or being a slip second too late pressing that space bar to switch can ruin a jump.
Lastly, the music. The music isn't anything to write home about to be honest, but it is lovely lofi style music that I don't mind listening to in the background as I play. I actually couldn't tell you if there are multiple tracks or if it was just one on repeat because I was never actively listening to it. Subconciously though it is great music for this game for that reason. It never distracted me and it never pulled my attention away from the game. Just chill music helping me stay focused on the game.
Долго пытался уложить принцип игры в однострочник, получилось неуклюже: "Шарик стремится к грани". Действительно, у нас есть шарик, который по клику мышки становится то чёрным, то белым и, в зависимости какого он цвета, он к той поверхности и несется. Игроку надо этот шарик протащить по уровню, желательно собирая все точки и символы. Уровни весьма фантастические, если не сказать наркоманские, минимализм и меланхолия, обязательные для подобного рода головоломок, тоже явлены вполне. Игру немного портит однообразие первых уровней — дальше в геймплей подсыпают чуть больше разнообразия — и ставка на скорость, а не на точность (поэтому инерция тут наше всё), но это искупается визуальным стилем, приятным электронным музыкальным сопровождением (в некоторых местах я не сгорел только благодаря ему) и относительно небольшой длительностью игры. Ставлю 6,5 точек из 10.
Да, имейте в виду. Вызов меню перекидывает шарик на следующий чекпоинт, даже если вы просто хотели поставить игру на паузу.

It was continuous flowing art at times and I love the monochrome style.

Lag, bugs, locked up screens.
The 'unusual mechanic' wasn't enough, I honestly found it boring and pointless.
The hidden items you just bumped into on the way, zipping through...more of the same stuff.
OVIVO is a very pretty but otherwise unexceptional experience.
Levels are linear; but given how they're designed, the game would be pretty unplayable if they weren't. That said, I even got all collectibles (dots and symbols) in my initial playthrough, so even the optional symbols (which aren't always on the main path) were hard to miss.
Checkpoints are generous. Maybe too generous: occasionally I'd die, only to respawn past the obstacle. No, definitely too generous: even in my first playthrough, I was able to teleport between *all* checkpoints in each level (wtf), to the point that I'm still not sure whether this was intentional behavior or whether the devs left some dev commands in there by accident.
Overall, this was an unexceptional experience. But that's fine - on occasion a short, very pretty game is exactly what one wants to play. Importantly, this game doesn't waste your time.
The player has very limited control over the object. Moving left or right, and switch the ball colour between black and white are all options available. Majority of the moves require the player to switch the ball colour at a right timing and utilize the gravity and momentum.
In each level there are several checkpoints which can be skipped to the next one even when the player is stuck.
The levels are not well designed and lack of depth.

타이밍 맞추는 게임에는 소질이 없는 줄 알았는데 오비보는 조금만 해도 깨지니까 좋네요 ㅎㅎ
방향키랑 스페이스바만으로 다양한 스테이지 구성을 해놓은 게임입니다.
스페이스바를 누를 때마다 흑백 화면을 넘나들며 문양과 점을 모으고 앞으로 나아가기만 하면 됩니다.
문양도 점을 따라가기만 하면 나오도록 배치해놔서 가이드에 의존 안 해도 되고 좋았어요~
90% 세일도 자주 하니까 가성비 면으로도 최고입니다 !!

En OVIVO, manejamos a OVO, una pequeña bola que es capaz de transitar entre el blanco y el negro. Esta habilidad, le permite dar saltos similares a los de un delfín y alcanzar las plataformas que se encuentran más alejadas.

- Me costó adaptarme a la interfaz.
Es un juego de plataformas bastante sencillo de entender y con una mecánica de juego diferente, que desafía al jugador con la distinta gravedad que hay entre el blanco y negro. Al terminar el mapa, se aleja la cámara y muestra todo el camino recorrido, el cual forma una maravillosa obra de arte.
Por contraparte, debo de mencionar que al principio me costó adaptarme a la interfaz. No sabía cómo navegar y no hay ningún tipo de texto que te pueda indicar, excepto iconos. Otra cosa que me ocurrió en varias ocasiones fue al intentar retomar la partida después de pulsar el botón de pausa: La bola se transportaba a otro punto del mapa y perdía los coleccionables de ese tramo. [i](Luego leí en la guía que podías volver al último punto de control con el botón del teclado ‘F1’, pero la verdad que es bastante molesto de por sí)[/i]
En mi caso, lo he jugado con mando sin ningún tipo de problema, a pesar de tener [/i]Compat. parcial con mando[/i]. Pasar los diferentes niveles y conseguir todos los coleccionables, los cuales son accesibles, me ha llevado en torno a 2 horas de juego. Si te gustan los juegos simples y el arte, deseo que le des una oportunidad.

спокойный и незамысловатый геймплей, очень красивые иллюстрации, монотонный саундтрек который вызывает чувство меланхолии. Всё это есть в игре OVIVO. За свою цену игра очень даже достойная и заслуживает внимания.
