This game is fun and simple and pretty addictive. I wish they continued with the updates, because I felt like it had some longevity. But alas. If you like whimsical creature collectors this is your game!
Heaps of fun! Combat is turn based (which for me personally can get boring) but the music in the background and the visuals really make it easy. Also you might think it's easy but trust me it get's hard, you'll definitely end up disliking some of the Ooblets XD. So many to find and choose from and the designs are very cute! Decent amount of content, I will say I do tend to get bored with the grind, but a lot of the stuff you will end up grinding for is Main story based so you're more incentivised to farm ect. Great to play a 1-3 hours at a time. Very in the space of Animal Crossing and cosy games alike you'll be in it for the long hall and appreciate all the NPC's and Ooblets you pick up along the way!

Am I having fun? yes, more than I expected? about the same.
I spent weeks watching streamers play and even waited years after it was released and thought I'd finally get the game myself, but there's a lot small concerns. the opening screen every time you launch still saying 2024 spring update was a red flag. Pathing of npc's in game is "playable" but frustrating and silly, to bump them to move out of a T pose or go way around a building to talk since thats how you are right in front. The pacing also feels a little odd but that could be me comparing it to a farming game and not a battle pet game.
I enjoy it and love it as a farm game thats not all about marrying and having a family. I am bummed the dev's got sucky I guess? hope it gets some attention again soon.

It's a good game. Cute and aesthetic. After hours of playing I would recommend adding navigation signs to every quest, like the dark pink arrow that appears to helps players know where to go during side quest such as 'Return to Millew to give back missing Ooblet" (not to mention, the characters are roaming). I only saw this when the Mayor needs help, but the rest had none. I recommend adding instructions. I was confused how to fish because naturally I assumed I would be clicking on screen, waiting for a wiggle. Turns out I only had to watch and wait. I also would love it if there's a beginner guide for dance battles. I was pulling out random cards all the time. Including Oobcoops, I had no idea the Ooblets can only take care of plants within the grid (since I didn't see them watering and weeding other plants a little further away from their coop's grid). Tips would be helpful on screen. Especially on where to find stuff. It took me a while to realize the sparkling things inside a person house can be looted. I had to look up on how to make Froobtose because Muz seed was the only obvious thing for me to think it would make Muz powder. For farming, it would be nice if we could at least get one free seed after harvesting. The crops takes days to grow. Their selling price should be higher at least 3-5 gummies higher, not just 1 gummy high (some of the crops are). Flowers take even more longer days. Finding the ingredients can also take time. I also wish this game can be played multiplayer, so we can have dance battles with our friends. I've just played recently, so there will be a lot of things I have not experienced. Yet so far, this is what I would recommend putting into the game. I am having fun playing this game for hours non-stop. I'm not sure if the dev is still active in making updates and etc. I hope they are cause this game is fire.

The music from this game is honestly the best part of it! The soundtrack goes so hard, and I listen to it all the time. The game is really cute and fun. I didn't personally enjoy the story all that much, but I loved everything else about game. Great game for those who love farming simulators!
This is one of my favorite cozy games ever. I've basically beaten it but I like to pop in and do a few days here and there because it's so satisfying and adorable, and there are still furniture and clothing pieces to unlock. Love it so much!

I enjoy seeing the cute little ooblets, and getting new ones to put in my house. I’ve replayed it many times, because I love the atmosphere, characters, and plot. I love how you can still continue the game even after finishing the main storyline.
This is legitimately one of the most criminally underrated games that I've ever played.
I’ve been playing Ooblets almost nonstop for the past week, and it’s been such a delightful experience. The art style, story, and overall world are incredibly charming and cozy. One of my favorite things about the game is how low-pressure it feels—there are no high stakes or strict deadlines pushing you to complete tasks or story beats within a certain timeframe, which makes it perfect for relaxing gameplay.
The absence of seasons also keeps farming simple and stress-free, turning it into a pleasant side activity rather than the core focus. The dance battle system is easy to learn and intuitive, and while the tasks themselves aren’t overly complex, they do a great job of encouraging exploration—which ended up being my favorite part of the game.
That said, I have noticed some glitches, bugs, and occasional rendering issues. They aren’t game-breaking, but they are noticeable and worth mentioning, especially given the game’s price point.
Ooblets is the kind of game that feels like a warm fuzzy hug with a sprinkle of chaos. It drops you into a bright, goofy world where farming, friendship, and dance battles somehow make perfect sense together.

This game scratches an itch in my brain that I did not realize I had. Cute critters, endearing characters, a charming art style, and a fun story all rolled up into one delightful package--I haven't had a game put me in a chokehold like this in a while.

Au départ, j’ai longtemps hésité à me lancer dans Ooblets, notamment à cause de son graphisme qui ne m’attirait pas vraiment. Finalement, une fois le pas sauté, j’ai complètement changé d’avis. Le style visuel colle parfaitement à la personnalité du jeu. C’est un univers décalé, plein d’humour, avec une ambiance cosy.
Ici, pas de stress ni de pression. On avance à son propre rythme, tranquillement, en profitant de l’aventure. On collectionne des petites créatures adorables et on compose son équipe de battles de danse en fonction de leurs cartes, qui leur confèrent des capacités spécifiques. Le système est original, fun et très relaxant, parfait pour se détendre.
Le seul véritable bémol concerne la façon d’obtenir les créatures. Il faut cuisiner des plats, ce qui demande de cultiver les bons ingrédients, de passer par la cuisine, puis d’attendre de retomber sur l’Ooblet désiré. Cela peut devenir un peu fastidieux et parfois frustrant, surtout lorsqu’un Ooblet très rare apparaît alors qu’on n’a pas ce qu’il faut pour l’obtenir.
Cela dit, ce système a aussi son utilité. Sans lui, le jeu serait sans doute bouclé bien trop rapidement. Au final, malgré ce petit défaut, Ooblets reste un bon jeu cosy.

Though I've only played for 5 hours here, I have over 300 hours on Epic Games and it's honestly my favorite game probably, it can be very grindy and repetitive specially early game when you don't have a lot of resources but it's one of the games that keeps me hooked the longest.
One of my favorite games of all time! This is the third time I've bought it. Finished the main story, now I'll slowly collect all the different color variations of ooblets.
The humor in this game is some of the best I've seen in any video game. Churles the grumpy clothes store owner who hates germs and social events is my spirit animal. 🩵

This game was such a pleasant surprise. I had watched Gabby Smolder's play the demo on YouTube and thought I'd give it a go. Didn't expect to absolutely adore this game as much as I do. I love it endlessly and am so excited for future projects from the devs if they make any!
I do so enjoy growing my garden, nurturing my gaggle of homunculi and making them dance for my amusement

For real though, the art style is great, the Ooblets are the cutest little stinkers, and the characters are quite well written. Very sarcastic, light hearted humor all throughout.
Good controls, plenty of time in the day, and the game doesn't feel like a slow nothing grind like other farm sims.
It kept my attention, which I'd consider high praise for games of the farm sim genre, as they often feel like you're in a endless loop of get crops in an empty world.
Oh and the dance battles are *awesome*
Perfect way to start getting into card games in an easy to learn and satisfying battle system!

I know this game is a bit old and has a lot of turmoil within the community, but after picking it up again and finally playing it all the way through, I can say it was worth it. I find this game so sweet and relaxing, a captured part of time in its own little capsule universe. I've had so much fun putting in these hours and obsessing over these little guys even though I'm late to the party. I look forward to playing this when I come home and just collecting all the little creatures and becoming the first gummy billionaire just to spite Bazil. Also participated in the black friday sale because Glanters are my favorite Ooblet ♥ Thank you for a great time!
I'm almost exclusively a cozy gamer and this hits all the marks for me. It's got farming, collecting, friendship building, story, and is a little weird. I love all the fun language and funky little fellows. The dance battles can be a bit repetitive and dull, otherwise I thoroughly enjoy this game.

very cute, very silly, very fun. dialogue/text is memey and a bit cheesy sometimes which might bother some people but if you're chill with it then it's fine. messaging is very pro-environment, anti-corp, pro-just-be-yourself-and-have-fun.
kinda like if pokemon was dance battles and also you had a lil yard to grow some stuff in. the clothing and furniture options feel a little lacking to me but only because im a huge customizer. some aspects of the game can be confusing but most of it is explained pretty well. there are seasonal events but changing your system clock does work (in my experience) so you can have them whenever you want.
i just wish there was a steam achievement/in-game badge for completing the almanac. it's such a big accomplishment with so little reward or acknowledgement.

Super fun!
It's cute and kind of fun for a bit, but the core components are all a huge slog. You can't even dance battle and collect ooblets without gathering resources and keeping track of what ooblets likes what and carrying it on you or running back home to see if you have it (you don't) or can make it (you can't) then figure out what you're missing and realize it's gonna take 5 days to grow and I just don't care and there's nothing making me care. Upgrading the oob coops takes so many resources and there's no good way to get those resources.
I've played through because it was decent enough, but I've gotten close to the end and it's a series of walls that if you aren't prepared and don't have all the resources for already will have you running around and waiting forever for stuff to grow or respawn.
It wouldn't be as bad if you could actually just sleep to skip days, but you have to exhaust your energy and then nap 5 times in a row, have it tell you you're not tired because it restored your energy, go exhaust yourself again, nap another two times and then FINALLY you can sleep until morning.
TLDR: I just don't find the gameplay loop compelling enough to justify how tedious everything is.
While playing Ooblets, It was a little difficult to shake the thought "Y'know, this kind of reminds me of those really well put together roblox games"
Those games are often pretty fun, farther along though, its a slog. The fishing mechanic made me go "this feels more like a gacha than a well rounded mini game"
This game... reminds me of Mysims, with its visuals, but ultimately that had better game loop. Not sure if i'm finishing this game, maybe i will, but I know now there aint nothing thats gonna make me not tell you to get this at 30 or even 20 dollars.

Honestly the game is a bit grind-y in my opinion. It's fun for the first half but especially in later game there's a plateau of progress that can be made with too few materials for the later half to be much fun. It's also clearly not being up kept by the creators as the 2024 spring even is still the one being advertised even though it's not even in the game. It is fun though, cute and silly.

I am enjoying the music and the variety of tasks, cute names and daily challenges.
I feel that I'm stuck between not having enough gummies and not able to build as many ooblet houses as I would like, while also feeling like I need to "grind" on the dance battles and having to use my resources (beets, carrots, muz) to battle instead of reserving them for my own energy intake. I feel like I should be able to skip the intro and outro of the dance battles.
I also don't have enough time in a day cycle to speak to everyone, complete all the dances, check the crops and work on the mayor's task. I would love a mod here actually to just fix some things and make the ooblets level up faster.
Cute game, held my attention for the time I've had it. The dance-off mechanic isn't overly complex but it's fun.
Catchy and fun creature collector! Your Ooblets perform dance battles for you and every Ooblet has special moves. All Ooblets come in three rarities and it's exciting to hunt for the most rare = gleamy ones!
The game does a lot of things right:
+ You can see which different Ooblets are available every day in all areas and you have the info what you need to battle them.
+ You can keep track which Ooblets you already collected easily.
+ The variety of Ooblets feels about right, the dance battles are great fun with banger music!
+ The town people are quirky and have new lines to tell you (almost) every day.
+ Game doesn't take itself too serious but still has a good message.
+ You can customize your farm and character a lot, even your Ooblets!
+ Added shop simulator mid-game is nice!
+ Energy and money are just a problem in early game.
+ No super grindy achievements, easy 100%.
A few things beside minor bugs are not so great though:
- Stunlock is your way to go to win all battles, which feels cheesy and boring. You can take other Ooblets too but then you risk to get stunlocked yourself and lose the battle.
- Inventory/storage management is bad, the sort button is useless as it changes your action bar too.
- You can only nap during the day and sleep to change days at night. This is a major drawback, if you wanna collect all Ooblets!
- Farming feels bad because you can only attend to one field at a time throughout the game. I really missed upgrading my area of affect for farming myself.
- The backtracking can be really annoying because there is no fast travel and you are only on your feet (the roller skates don't make things easier).
- It's very grindy to unlock everything in the arena and its recipes are needed to catch every Ooblet.
- The Ooblet limitations are too punishing throughout the game. I had countless Ooblets unhatched because I simply lacked the space to have them on my farm. The wildlands are not really an option if you wanna collect every Ooblet and keep it. Unlocking level 10 of the wildlands helps, but you are done with the game at this point.
- While you know which Ooblet you collected, there is no indication of how many of a certain rarity you already collected.
- Your own shop is nice, but would have been way better if customers could buy more than just one item at a time.
Overall had a ton of fun with this game and it felt unique enough to get a shiny spot in my creature collector collection!

Ooblets isn't my favorite example of a farm sim or creature collectithon or quirky cute style game but if you like those things consider giving this game a shot if you're hungry for more.
Solid early and mid-game, but if you really want to collect 'em all prepare for much tedium. After the low rng rate for one of the recipe items needed I left my bestiary incomplete.
Ooblets is a fun clam game where you can get some cute pets, join clubs, decorare your house, and battle other cute pet to get more and its just a supper fun and yet cute game to play :D

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute I spent playing Ooblets. The game's overall experience was fun, the visuals and sound design were incredibly adorable and the dance battles were gratifying (especially in the dance barn!) The quirk was charming and cohesive haha and I enjoyed making my way through the main quest. I also appreciated that the game has hours of content but is ultimately finite. :) With that being said, the progression felt a bit slow at times and buying/crafting used a lot more resources than I would've expected which took a bit away from me experiencing everything the game had to offer.
This game is really fun but honestly as a person who needs some time to get into a new game world I had quite some trouble beeing in this game... I couldnt find the shop and you cant sell everything at one shop so you... really need to know what you can do where. I have constantl money problems and at first I was sleeping a lot since I had no energy and couldnt do anything. But after a while I learned to get around more (still dont think that I know everything haha), so yah maybe its a me problem but I love the graphics, the ooblets and the music. I also like the characters. I think it is a nice game, I played on steamdeck in handheld and with an external controller, everything worked great. I think it is a great game for some people but you might need some time to get into the world and the mechanics.
This game is super fun! I just started playing today and put 4 hours on it! the ooblets are super cute. The game was also easy to learn. A very relaxing game that has a lot of customization and options to use. There are a good amount of shops, as well as many plants to grow. The style of the game is also very cute. I love the trophies you can make of the creatures you collect. I can almost get one new creature a day. Just a new item and a certain amount of them. Not hard at all! I would recommend this game to everyone!

I was waiting for this game to come out for a while, then played it as soon as I could and I really loved it. It was quirky and silly in all the best ways, but it was also very casual and cozy! Highly recommend.
Fun, super cute farm life sim game, with a bit of Pokemon too! I love the art style and its just really relaxing once I got the hang of all the options and tasks in the game and inventory management. I do wish it had more of a tutorial because a lot of figuring what I'm supposed to do, and even what I can do, I had to google a bit for. My other nitpick is that the game does force you to befriend a police officer and has a 'office friendly' type police character which I have strong feelings about, especially in a game marketed to young people and kids who should be taught that 'officer friendly' isn't real and our relationship with serious things like law enforcement is a challenging, risky, and complex thing.
Other than that its super cute and super fun and I look forward to playing it everyday. I hope this studio continues with this super cute style.

It's a charming game with a very distinct tone of snarky whimsy. Character designs are delightful, the entire art direction is really effective. The mechanics are generally well-executed - none of the mechanics are very deep or complex, but they're smooth and intuitive, and the smorgasbord of activities makes for an engaging experience nonetheless. Some of the pacing of gathering resources got a little grind-ey, but the frustration never persisted for more than a couple of hours before progression picked back up, and there were usually other things to focus on instead if I needed a break. If you like a low-key farming sim/creature collector, this is a pretty solid one.
So I had to come here just to say I’m in love with this game. Going through very tough times & this game makes my spirit happy. While I have a lot of games I do enjoy it’s been a while that a game actually made me genuinely happy. Just wanted to say thank you to the devs❤️
