Bought this game for 30 cents. Worth its value, much better then a free game. It has structure, challange and character. Level design is good, not just a messy rendering of something random
Still the game isnt the best. Levels are either too easy or impossibly difficult, with little in betweens. This leads to frustrating gameplay. Worst of all, you need to beat all levels to move on, which defeats the chance of casual enjoyment. Stopped playing at the tourbus level.

En revanche, si vous visez le 100 %, préparez-vous à beaucoup de frustration, certains chapeaux sont extrêmement difficiles. Mais le vrai problème du jeu, c’est la RNG. Le gameplay repose parfois trop dessus, avec des collisions aléatoires ou des bugs qui peuvent arriver à tout moment.
Malgré ça, le concept du jeu est vraiment génial et original. Chaque niveau est différent et varié, on ne s’ennuie jamais. Les musiques sont bonnes, même si elles peuvent rendre fou.

I think many would agree with me that, regardless of what game you play, you can feel what the devs’ intention is. Whether the game is good or not, some games are the devs trying to captivate you with their art and aesthetics. Some games are trying to sheepishly please you by giving you mechanics and tropes you’re familiar with. Some games try to impress you with the cool bosses, shocking moments, and exciting designs. Some beg you to be entertained, trying to occupy your time with so many elements such as organization, grinding, side quests, etc.
I didn’t think I would ever say this about any game ever, but Omnibus is a flex. Omnibus doesn’t try; it just is. It doesn’t joke, hoping you would laugh. It’s a group of cool friends laughing amongst each other so candidly, you WANT to join in and be part of the fun. Omnibus doesn’t care. Omnibus doesn’t say “please like me”. It smirks and says “let me show you how it’s done.”
I know this sounds like a meme review, but I promise it isn’t. Omnibus is an easy game to enjoy, but an astronomically hard game to explain. I cannot even describe it as “whimsical and creative” because Omnibus is a redefinition of these very terms. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience, down to the smallest details.
I may not be able to explain Omnibus, but one thing is for certain; I doubt many people will regret playing it.

Ran great on the steam deck, despite being listed as untested. I'd consider this 'verified' quality. Problem is, when the rudimentary low poly aesthetic and occasional goat sim-esque cluster ♥♥♥♥ physics objects wears off, the game's amateurish design and gameplay are what remain. At it's core, omnibus is a rage game where the player is constantly fighting the many forces acting against your bus. I often found myself frequently fighting the spin and rapid velocity of the car or just restarting the level because the rate at which I careen off the platform is futile against any effort I put in. Many turns into pinball-like bumpers render a run unsalvageable. The controls go from a razor tight, lightspeed precision to floaty and hardly manipulatable. Attach it to a campaign of levels which serve as vignette segments with barely any sequential elements, and you have a game worth skipping.
Some bus's have individual abilities, like the gravity bus, where pushing a button can influence the force of gravity pulling it's wheels to the ground. That kind of ability grants more and more unique moments of gameplay, but it never strives to take these individual powers and combine them. I wish, as a game, there should be a bus which requires you to jump with the cow ability, flip upside down, and use the gravity ledge to grab a hold of a drivable path to progress the game. But it never allowed itself the ambition to reach a moment where it felt distinct from some itch.io game for free. It's not worth it.
Despite what you may assume based on the look of it, this is no mere one-joke-rage-bait game. This is an objective based precision racing game that has both a good variety of missions and isn't overwhelmingly difficult. If you've ever played the mission mode in Mario Kart DS it's a bit like that, but you can't stop and the missions are more fleshed out.
The game isn't very long so it doesn't overstay its welcome, and there's enough variety to keep surprising you and introducing new twists on the existing gameplay loop. As such for a Lincoln it's hard not to recommend.

I had a blast with OmniBus. For a "rage game", there wasn't anything truly infuriating about it. Some collectibles were harder to get than others, but the medal times were pretty forgiving and grinding them didn't feel like a chore. It was fun inching closer and closer until I hit the gold medal time on each level.
The gameplay was good, the level design was good, the humour was good, it was challenging but not too difficult, and you'll get decent mileage for the price. Overall, it's a very solid game.

Awesome fun bus driving game where you basically go through different worlds and complete levels throughout those worlds. Levels consists of different type of mini games or time trials/objectives to complete and are very fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. The best part is that the bus doesn't have any brakes :0
A wacky time. This anti-racing game is a collection of weird missions and minigames. Fun aesthetic and goofy presentation, for a low price point.
Don't get me wrong, this game is a quirky little oddity on Steam, but it's not fun to play. You, literally, just use the stick to steer an out of control bus you can't speed up, slow down, or turn sharply (cos if you try turn in anything but 5 degree nudges, you flip over and end up having to restart the level). The time limits for medals in game feel insanely cruel, because how the hell am I supposed to go faster than "you can't go faster"? And the whole hat gimmick and random theme levels? Not enough to make it fun.
If you get it cheap, you could maybe kill a bit of time with it but that's it. It has the same life span as a mobile game: it'll distract you for a bit, but honestly there's better games out there to waste your time with.

Omnibus is the Dark-Souls of bus driving games. In all seriousness though, it’s a fun, light-hearted arcade style game where you are driving a bus, using the bus to complete all kinds of challenges from bank heists to space exploration. The best way I could describe this game is that it is kind of like a satirical “anti-game” in a similar vein to Goat Simulator, where it doesn’t take itself too seriously and is pure dumb fun. The control schemes are a little wonky, which takes some getting used to and the levels can feel a little repetitive at times and also if you are an achievement hunter, the game does spike in difficulty to the point of frustration if you are trying to 100% it. But overall the game is well worth picking up if you are looking for a game you can just goof off with and burn a few hours with especially when the game is on sale.

Mas que não tem a opção de freiar, então toda vez que você estiver em solo, voce vai correr e muito, e destruindo tudo na sua frente.
Eu digo "em solo",porque tem momentos que você pula de um avião, com um ônibus.
Você vai para lua, com um o ônibus.
Você vai pular entre lava e raio lasers, com um ônibus.
Você vai desviar de tudo a 100km , controlando um ônibus que ao apertar o botão, ele explode para reduzir a velocidade.
Você vai controlar um ônibus que tem controle de gravidade e com isso tentar evitar que você bata nos vidros ao seu redor
Deu para perceber, que simulador aqui não é seu ponto forte.
O forte aqui são objetivos que deve se fazer em cada fase, conforme as ordens que são solicitadas a ti, elas que vem as vezes de um mafioso a um cowboy. Quanto mais rápido fizer, mais melhora a sua nota na fase, que vai nos níveis ouro,prata e bronze.
Com um desafio que vai do super simples ao extremo, isso se você não quiser fazer o 100%, se prepara caso for, que aí o bicho pega.
Os graficos sao simples, mas combina demais com a proposta do jogo, cenarios sempre muito coloridos e vibrantes, uma trilha sonora que vai beirar você curtir ela e ao mesmo tempo ficar maluco, por ouvir ela 1000x até passar de uma fase.
A jogabilidade é ótima, só que tem vez que você tem que ser extremamente preciso, paravconseguir passar de certos momentos, isso pode frustrar um pouco.
A um detalhe importante, tem chapéus espalhados pela fase, pegando um deles tem como usar no seu ônibus.

E cada mundo(são 5 no total) tem sempre um chefe, com batalhas bem divertidas e desafiantes.
Esse jogo é desafiante, frustrante, intrigante mas muito, muito divertido.
Numa promoção já vi ele no valor de R$ 2,00. Se você não tiver nada para se jogar e tem um troco sobrando, vale a pena a tentativa, mesmo que seja para passar nervoso.

Продолжаю проходить игры от издателя Devolver Digital. Тут сразу видно, что происходит какое-то безумие. В принципе, другого я и не ожидал.
Мы играем за автобусы. Каждый уровень является заданием. Где-то нужно куда-то доехать, а где-то нужно что-то разрушить и так далее. Вполне разнообразно. И если большая часть уровней являются довольно простыми, то ближе к концу почти каждый уровень становится трудным. Порой уходит 10-20 попыток на то, чтобы наконец его пройти. Сложности добавляют препятствия вокруг, которые как в пинболе отталкивают нас. Но главная сложность здесь - это физика. И она просто безумная. Если вы начали кувыркаться, то практически невозможно это контролировать. Вам остаётся молиться, чтобы вы не оказались в плачевной позе перевернувшейся черепахи. Омнибас сам давит педаль в пол и тормозить нельзя. Камера поворачивается нехотя, что тоже добавляет трудностей. Тут даже есть боссы, в которых надо врезаться. Летающую тарелку я не осилил в итоге и пропустил (спасибо, что не обязательно абсолютно все уровни проходить, чтобы открыть следующий этап), потому что автобус с гравитацией невероятно неудобный. Последний босс меня тоже выбесил, но всё-таки я смог победить спустя кучу попыток. Автобусов тут много и каждый обладает своими особенностями. Один автобус умеет прыгать, другой в форме бочки, ещё есть английский туристический. В общем, видов много, но какой-то конкретный дают на определённом уровне. Самому выбирать нельзя.
Игра пиксельная, выглядит приятно. Вопросов к внешнему виду нет.
Музыка хоть и непродолжительная и цикличная, но звучит круто. Почти все композиции мне понравились и не надоели за всю игру.
Сюжет тут абсурдный. На каждом уровне тот или иной персонаж даёт нам абсурдное поручение. А в конце даже появится злодей, который захочет от нас избавиться. Порой можно улыбнуться от местного юмора.
Если вы захотите получить 100% достижений этой игры, то вы большие оптимисты. Не знаю, как каждый уровень пройти на золото и получить все шляпы. Из-за сложности уровней и некоторой кривизны управления, думаю, что это почти нереально.
Всё же, игра прикольная и необычная. Как всегда, Devolver Digital фигни не издают!

If you're the casual type who doesn't go for achievements, this game isn't too hard. Even if its physics are dogwater and the levels can be annoying, there isn't anything you shouldn't be able to do. The game is hard but it isn't "I Wanna be the Guy" levels of hard. If you don't care about 100% and you want a fun, gimmicky game to pass the time, you might like this. It's got some charm and some nice ideas, plus all the levels are unique so you'll never see anything truly rehashed from previous areas. It's cheap, simple, and doesn't take too long. Isn't that nice?

No game has given me more heartache than when I lose my 6th cow, more dread than when I'm half a second off of gold, and NO GAME has instilled more stomach-churning regret than when I mess up at 39 chickens and need to restart again.
But it doesn't end there.
Some of the game's hats are especially ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrid to get. How would you like to perform physics equations about a spinning bridge in your little brain while your bus constantly changes forms and weight, causing you to just die because lol random? Isn't that great? What about using a slippery gravity control to aim with pin-point precision at a hat suspended in the air while going 150mph?
If you want to 100% this game, you are an idiot, and anyone who sees your suffering will be all entitled to laugh and jeer as you trip on a sign post and have to restart your chicken collectathon again.
Omnibus is a game made to annoy you, make you feel stupid. The grimy music loops gnaw away at your ear drums and the bright colourful visuals only juxtapose your torment. When you don't go for 100%, you don't realise this. You just think it's a product of its time and made to parody old and busted arcade games. It's only when you yearn for completion and load back in that you start to realise just how wrong you were.
But, I do like it.

21 horas de diversión y frustración, he malgastado 21 horas de mi vida en sacar el 100% de este maldito juego por una apuesta. Ahora tengo 10€ extra en mi cartera pero a cambio he perdido parcialmente mi alma. Jugabilidad increible nunca me había sentido cómo un conductor de autobus escolar que se ha mentido fentalino en vena cómo casi se me salen los ojos de las cuencas al ver los putos sombreros de los niveles 3-3, 5-7 y 5-star. Simplemente un juegazo que no vale la pena hacerte el 100%

I don't get this game? It's boring and annoying. I thought it might've been vaguely like Blast Corps (a fun game) at first, but actually no, it's just a sh*tpost in video game form.
O jogo em si é legal, muito divertido e tem varias mecânicas, mas o controle do no ar é horrível, não dá pra controlar o eixo x direito(joguei no teclado), sem falar que alguns leveis são muito mal otimizados por exemplo no level do trem pra mim ficou injogavel, diferente dos outros leveis que na maioria das vezes rodaram super bem, só recomendo comprar o jogo se ele estiver em promoção.

Omnibus is as fun as it is frustrating at times.
I think this is one of those games that is supposed to be frustrating to play because the controls are a little wonky on purpose, I might be wrong but that is how I interpret it. Regardless of that, its a funny game, kind of a joke game in a way. It was enjoyable. I liked it and didn't mind playing.
I can think of a pretty good metaphor for my experience with trying to 100% this game
Alright so imagine you are shot out of a cannon, through twelve layers of plexiglass, and are then sent flying into a hospital bed full of syringes, then you are simultaneously thrown into a car windshield at about 128 mph, driving into the grand canyon with a spike pit. Next thing you know your Pelvis is ruptured and your spine is broken but this is the least of your problems, so you go back to that same hospital, sitting on a bed made out of syringes and needles and are then injected with sewage water and then put under for surgery.
After that, you wake up finding out that they took your liver and your boss shows up telling you that you have been relieved of your job that had amazing benefits and an impressive score on your resume that you have been working for 20 years of schooling for, to make matters worse you were also recorded, posted and seen by thousands if not, millions of people online after that amazing chain of bad luck that just got dropped upon you.
Now you look Online, The Game Theorist is making a video about you, Nostalgia Critic is losing his ♥♥♥♥ and Oneyplays is now referencing you in their next video of Skibidi Toilet after everything that had just happened. Video games and movies are being made off of you, sparta remixes are being made out of the sound clips of that video and now you live with a new classified blood type, Sewerdium A type Blood, loss of dignity and self respect, you don't have a job and nobody wants to hire you anywhere, you are now spineless and you can't even rely on your parents because they disowned you after you had your spine totalled and costed them over 25'000 USD just to repair and heal your body.
The last thing that happens is you get onto a bus and then you play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane, horror filled, Dark souls of Racing Games as your personal and Eternal Punishment in Hell, for as long as the Universe remains.
