No One But You is a Visual Novel/Dating Sim about Hideaki, a high school student who has just returned to his hometown, Okutama.
Upon returning, Hideaki re-discovers a town he knew from childhood, meeting new friends and reuniting with those he had long forgotten. He resumes his high school life in the big city, quickly adapting to the change in pace, and before he knows it, Hideaki begins to think of this city as his home once more. Hideaki's life in Okutama is upbeat and fun, thanks to the many friends he makes, including Megumi, an energetic student council member; Chinatsu, a reserved senior in the literature club; Shiro, an unsociable music-lover; and Yui, an obstinate girl who rarely expresses herself honestly. Surrounded by an interesting group of friends, Hideaki lives out his days without a care in the world, content to enjoy a normal high school life. Whether he's going out with friends or studying for exams, his new life is truly peaceful. But not for long. As Hideaki's stay in Okutama continues, ghosts from his past begin to come back, increasingly intruding on the new life he's trying to build. As if that wasn't bad enough, his new friends all have secrets of their own, and the more Hideaki involves himself with their daily lives, the deeper into mutual despair he sinks. Will you be able to put to rest the evils of the past and finally live out the normal high school life you crave? Will you be able to put your friends' minds at ease, erasing the trauma and misery ruining their otherwise peaceful lives? Because whether you like it or not, for this very task it can be no one but you.

a good Visual Novel game.
this game is unfortunately for some reason no longer on steam to buy.
good Story.
cute girls.
some endings.
music is alright to the game.
options menu is good some good changing.
beautiful Gallery pictures + a music gallery.
all achievements work.
Solid story with a good ratio between choices and dialog.
Fairly short as well, so it would be a good introduction to visual novels for beginners.
I have mixed feelings on this game. I suppose a review doesn't matter as much since the game is not available for sale any longer, but I will leave some positives and negatives below.
Positives:

a lot of ending posibilities

some of the music is very calming and pretty

easy to jump into

a lot of choices to be made throughout

choices begin early in play through, which allows for a good balance of reading and interacting

Negatives:

some of the music can be annoying

pacing can be too quick at times

overall game play is short

writing can be a bit tacky at times

development abandoned the game

no voice acting

rather basic character animations and facial expressions

some bugs seem to be present
If the game were still for sale, I wouldn't pay $10 for it, but I purchased it in a bundle of VN games, so in that sense it was worth the time I put into it. I would recommend at least a single play through if you already own it.
this is a very fun visual novels it leaves you on the edge... it is really good
Just a note: I mostly played this game off-Steam, it's actual length is between 8 and 12 hours, depending on your reading speed.
No One But You is an extremely inconsistent game with a complicated history. It was a surprise success on Kickstarter, starting with a really humble goal and reaching like 1200% funding. The company behind it definitely wasn't able to handle the upscaling and didn't set up a reasonable releasing schedule, resulting in a visual novel that is at times reasonably enjoyable and at times a giant dumpster fire. The character art is nice, but is brought down by undercooked backgrounds and straight-up mistakes and contradictions with the game's text (my favourite is when a long scene happening on a rainy evening ends with a bright CG in full sunlight). Major features were added post-launch, including those that really should be these from the beginning (like an opening amination and a theme song with Japanese vocals) and not all stretch goals were even implemented.
The game's biggest issue is two of its five routes, that for many people destroyed the whole experience: Shiro's and Megumi's scenarios are incredibly dumb, over the top and full of plotholes. They try be emotionally impactful and tragic, but are mostly laughable and at times plain distasteful. They're quite honestly some of the worst examples of bad writing I've seen in visual novels, which is a shame, because the common route and introduction of all the heroines were quite decent.
So, to not be completely negative, the game starts with a setup and characters that are very much anime/VN cliches: it happens in Japan, the protagonist is a high schooler that moves back to his hometown and befriends a bunch of girls and one dumb, perverted dude. There's an unsettling mystery connected to his childhood that is intertwined with some heroine arcs. Very standard stuff, but it's actually quite enjoyable (at least up to the point in which writers decided to jump the shark). Beside the cursed routes mentioned before, other ones are actually relatively enjoyable – Chinatsu's route explored protagonist's tragic childhood and is very sad, but decently-written (the author behind it is actually none other than ebi-hime, one of the best EVN devs out there). Yui's route is about bullying and, ignoring the depressing bad endings, is the closest thing in the game to actual, satisfying romance scenario. The route of Ryo, the protagonist's best buddy, could easily be a joke scenario for those that failed to get any of the girls, but is actually a pretty compelling, light boys' love story (!) – not something you usually see in a male-oriented VN. All routes are too either a bit to short or way too short to tell the complex stories they aimed for without serious pacing issues, but outside of Shiro's and Megumi's arcs, I was able to look past that.
One notable thing in No One But You is the soundtrack, which includes a whopping 35 tracks, mostly very decent and used to enhance the game's climate and give a unique feel to crucial scenes thoughout the story. It couldn't compensate for its obvious shortcomings, but it's still an impressive achievement and something I very rarely see in EVNs. Many people criticised the Japanese-stylized writing, but it didn't bother me much – the game actually experimented with style in some fun ways, like the texting sequences that mimicked teen slang used in that kind of messages and made me chuckle quite a few times. In the end, though, No One But You is kind of hard to recommend, unless you're looking for a curiosity: it can often be quite outlandish in its missteps and the neck-breaking pace of it all probably won't let you get bored. As serious entertainment or emotional experience, it simply doesn't work more often than not. Even for this pricepoint, there are many better VNs to pick up and this one should stay at its place as a somewhat unfortunate piece of history.

Honestly I wouldn't mind drowning a few cats instead of getting shot.
The games started as a kickstarter project, with a lot of promises which included voice acting, in the end the director abandoned the project and just gave an unfinished game.
The game itself is just a headache for simple minded story and always changing perspective of the story without giving hint to the reader, even the price realese was as expensive as another well known titles of the same genere.
Is sad that a game with good art was bad handeled for an awful writing and bad direction.
Great visual novel, right speed where you don't need to read first half an hour without anything happening. All the girls have really interesting routes so I recommend you to play all even if you usually only play your favourite/s.
Feels were felt ;-; I finished my first route yesterday and I couldn't stop thinking about it the entire day and half of the night. I'll do the rest shortly and perhaps write an actual review then, but for now, I'll just go and suffer alone in my crying corner and meme it into oblivion. Seriously, why is there no fandom for this game?!

EDIT 2023: WTF was I on? This game sucks LMFAO past me had no taste
i like it, but i only played five hours and just now reached the relationship ending with yui, with some dead cats and the complete and utter disregard for my other friens in the last 2 hours (all ingame of course) is that a good ending or should i try again?
Even though this game is not exactly finish, as in having broken promises from the developers, it still got great stories, characters, and graphics. This game gets really good as an individual makes different connections between "character routes" using their imagination. As I continue playing, I find it easy to connect super well with the characters as if I am Hideaki, the main character myself. This made the dark endings a lot more impactful to those who can connect well to the visual novel. I do yearn for more content to spend more time with these characters as they are the people I actually want to experience in my real life. I recommend this visual novel to those who are feeling low when the world does not give them the chance to interact with people in a fun and uplifting way. This game is also perfect for learning life lesson in my experience when dealing with people, mostly girls.Be yourself, be adventurous, do not put anyone on a pedestal, have fun, and love everyone because they each have their own problems which were created by events that happen to them. They have no control of who they are and how they act. Totally change my life. A little bit sad that there is little to no people playing this anymore. Hope this change in the future, I totally recommend this if you are willing to make connections from your life to this game. Love to all-totally the game impacting me in an unknown state.
I liked it enough. Nothing crazy. Not a VN to 100% if you aren't a homosexual. I found all of the bad ends pretty funny because you generally just press the wrong thing and they end up killing themselves. The problem is it's 10 dollars. Feels like a 5 dollar game. Maybe I'm just a ♥♥♥♥. It isn't bad, it just isn't anything special. And I wouldn't bother getting the soundtrack either. Though it is one of the few VN's where you get into a fistfight with your best friend and end it by kissing him. So if you are into that, enjoy
I bought this game a long time ago and has just recently started to play it. One of my first VN games.
SPOILERS ALERT
Pros:
- Has some good plot twists.
- Storyline is not too bad.
- The visuals are quite nice compared to a lot of the sloppy visuals of other VN games in Steam.
- Well, the devolopers are not homophobic.
- Musics are soothing.
Cons:
- Sometimes, the story just goes on without explanation or development on other characters. All of the sudden, you are close to this character or know something about this character eventhough you never talked to her or him. Sometimes, that character just disappear after an arc without much proper explanation.
- Well, if you are actually only looking for a VN with only girls' route, be careful not to go for a guy's route in this VN.
- Stories are kinda short and some of those stories did seems a bit of a rush for me.
- No character's audio
- Soundtrack are not memorable at all.
- Pretty sure some scenes are censored ( as expected from Steam)
Conclusion:
For me, it is worth the buck for my first step into VN games. I kinda feel that this game has been left to run on itself by the developers and no updates or whatsover to improve the game as there are tons of stuffs that can be done to improve the game.
I would suggest get it on sale instead of the full price.
Its good until you get to late game
Terrible company, but I did like the story. (Although it got a little too dramatic at parts.) Chinatsu is best girl.
I bought this game on sale solely because of Ryo and I wasn't disappointed. (Although there was still some room for improvement) Of course, I tried out all the other routes as well, and liked or disliked the other characters and their stories to varying degrees. Megumi was my least favorite character of all but the rest weren't bad. A decent game overall and worth a playthrough or two.
Long story short: The VN is amazing, the devs aren't.
Pretty much everyone you meet in this vn is a possible route (except, well, your mother). Every route gets you excited about the characters and their stories and to not ruin your experience I won't go into detail here.
Personally I think 10 bucks is okay for this game but if it ever goes on sale again I'd definetly grab it.
Devs had some drama on afterstories they wanted to make and have or haven't now, who even knows anymore...
After one artist quit and another one "went missing" I have no idea what happened to their plans.
All in all a good VN at an alright price, I recommend.
Hideaki is a total baka towards poor Ryo,just taking the word of a girl he met.'romanced' ryo on my 1st playthrough, though just seems like they added it as a joke, bleh! gonna go afrer 1 of the chicks now.the music is cool! wish there was a 3some for Yui and Megumi. :p Hmm...then there is shiro to consider....great storylines.
HUH!! i wonder what happenend to the backers money?since(though i like it)most of the promised features(voice acting for one)never made it to the game.
Good art, decent characters. The plot is pretty over the top, and the art is good but it lacks range. the endings are a bit dissapointing.
Cute simple story line in the beginning, but once you choose a character to end up with, your route becomes a lot more interesting. The stories are real nice, and get really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ depressing. So far I've finished the both good and bad endings of 3 girls, and each one of them gives a pretty intense feeling when learning the backstory behind each character and seeing the darkest parts of their lives. some of the characters in the beginning may seem a bit to simple, like the classic generic shy girl, the perverted male friend, the overly flirty and "oh so exciting and different in pervy ways" female character, but their final stories really sell it.
I personally realy really like studying story developement, I work on making my own manga, and am looking to be a penciler for comics, and so I really like to look into the story, the characters, and the layout of these kind of things, and personally I think they did a good job, especially once you actually get a route going.
good plot
Excellent and funny game. although stressman. at times.
.
Should mention in description that this is a tragedy.
No One But You is a choice-based Visual Novel published by Unwonted Studios and Sekai Project.
About the story:
You play as Hideaki, a transferred student who just moved to his hometown (Okutama) cause of familiar reasons.
After undergoing an accident you seem to have lost its recollections along with the memories you kept as a child.
The story begins peacefully slowly heading into melancholic direction as you start learning more about heroines' background stories and your past.

6/10
Your mother decides that you should move with her to the city you grew up in when you were born: except that you were a victim of an accident there when you were a child, don't remember your childhood, the accident, the place, or the people you met there.
Look, this is begging to be your generic anime story of the boy who doesn't remember his past. And it is. You can already guess half of the characters and the plot.
To make it worse, the character development is shallow to an unbelievable level, up until the point in which your "route" is decided. After that point, the other characters will play a minor role, or even totally disappear, and the story will develop the "Chosen Character". You'll be somewhat at the middle of the storyline - but there will be only one or two choices left to make, everything else is linear.
"Chosen Character", quotes intended. I personally have lacked any sort of empathy towards any of the characters until I reached the last quarter of (some) of the routes. Some of the endings are very forced in the "oh well, that escalated quickly" vein, and ruined the empathy.
The art is very good, that is true. Apart from the hand of Yui. The H-Scenes are pretty good too, but I'm not sure if I could recommend a game based purely on that.
After so much bashing, I must admit there is one pretty well done ending. One. It was almost worth it.
Linux port is sloppy because of the bug in Renpy. Achievements are fine, you basically needs to get all endings.
It's a nice little visual novel for anyone who wants to kill a few hours in their time. I mostly preferred the Yui route because I just love the Tsundere type of 2d girls and to describe how I felt about the journey for that route is rather simple.
"It gave me a happy ending but left me a bit unsatisfied"
I say "unsatisfied" to express my disappointment on having no more content left on Yui! Because I was entranced with the character and wanted to learn more about her, which is why I wanted to know what happens next after the "holding hands" scene but I just got hit with the fact that it's all over. Although the after story might change that but I think the after story for Yui might be included in the love scene patch? Because there was no indication if there is an after story after the first one (in the steam version).
In conclusion, I had fun even though I was mostly attracted to the Yui path but I would still recommend this visual novel for anyone who wants a simple read and love "wacky" characters.
Competent seems the best word to describe this visual novel.
It is neither the best nor the worst I have read, nor do I regret reading it.
The story is a bit of a cauldron of cliches, with an amnesiac protagonist right off the bat and plot twists I saw coming from a mile away. Despite this, the story was still interesting and I finished all the routes.
Some of the events are rather hard to believe, which significantly detracts from any pathos the writers have built up. When I stop reading to google 'can you really die by biting off your tongue?' it's not a good sign. (Apparently the answer is: yes, but very unlikely).
Overall though the characters are good, with a decent attempt at creating complexity.
The relationships between the characters seemed a but bizarre though - once the protagonist finds his love interest he seems not to care for any other of his former friends, leaving them to deal with their issues by themselves.
Poor Megumi, it seems to be inferred, is murdered by her teacher if Hideaki opts for Shiro - and nobody seems to give a rat's backside
It left me with a bad taste in my mouth, particularly on the later routes where I'd already learned most of the character's backstories only to have to watch as Hideaki blithely ignores them, or worse. The choices are fairly straightforward, so there didn't seem to be any way of combining the routes so that going out with one girl didn't entail you being a total git to the others.
The pacing feels a little odd in places, particularly with the rather pointless calender system which certainly only confused me. There are surely better ways to show the passing of time?
The art is nice, which is all I can really say. Although some of the female sprites seem to lack casual clothes - Poor Shiro wears her school uniform all year round it seems, despite CGs showing that she owns a rather adorable blue dress.
Overall, if you really like visual novels, then get on sale. There isn't really anything here which isn't done better somewhere else, but at the same time...it's not bad. Competent, as I say.
This game reminds me of Yume Miru Kusuri. It is a visual novel that deals with dark themes and if you don't make the right choices will end badly for your love interest... and possibly all of them, since without your input most of them will still be in their particular trouble. The only one not so much is Chinatsu, whose issue... well, you really can't help with that one...
Anyway, the three other girls are Yui, who has suffered from bullying to an extent where she tries to be a loner. Shiro, who loves music, but whose father... is a bit of a dirtbag. And Megumi, who is dealing with the death of her sister... which she believes she may have caused while trying to save her from a pedophile... who is now free and stalking HER...
There is also a failure route, if you don't manage to pursue any of the four girls... and it ends slightly badly...
Do try it if you have the willpower and stomach for it.
There is a more explicit version out there, and rumors of a patch that may or may not ever come to fruition...
Well I only played one run myself but really enjoyed it. It really grabs you and whisks you away. Deffinitly addictive. There are some pretty dark twists however that the game doesn't prepare you for so be cautious when continueing forward. Although not perfect as I did find some flaws in the story not reconizing that I didn't complete certain events though it treated me like I had refering to scenes I hadn't seen this is really only a minor complaint. All in all if I hadn't already settled on a in game waifu I would deffinitly play again and my only true complaint is the game wasn't longer as I find myself wanting to continue on in this world interacting with these charaters much much more. For the price they're asking I would consider this a must have however you may aswell skip the steam version and go for the unrated version as aparently is has much more of that juicy content we all crave.
A fun game overall. I picked it up on-sale, and I'd say it was worth it. Decent story with some fun characters, and surprisingly gorgeous sound and visuals. Give it a shot!
This game taught me that men are the safe choice. Girls are crazy.
-reserved-
10/10 would recommend, but this may be too 'dark' for some, even for some the 'good endings'.
This game gave a more darker tone at the end.
One of the best games I ever brought.
If seems cute with the pink hair, beauty and single. Is the fuc%&#$ crazy as IRL. I rly hate VN for gods sake. But I like the artwork and the music. I didn't expect that end ;A; and I like the foil badge. Tbh I bought it at first for that. But then caught me. Also the auto skip was nice just taking choices without think as IRL again.
NOBY introduces itself as stock-standard, runs itself in a stock-standard way, and overall leaves no lasting impression of being anything notable in almost any category.
Design/UI: Pointlessly bloated at the best of times, buggy and annoying at the worst. The heart-shaped aesthetic already got on my nerves for sake of sheer pointlessness (we get it, it's a dating sim), but there are a lot of aspects of the UI that simply don't make sense or don't need to be there. Why have a day counter when, effectively, what day it is has no bearing on the game whatsoever? It's a relic of old-school dating sims where time management and calendar events were a thing (Amagami SS), or of visual novels where events happening/not happening across routes matter for sake of timing (Steins;Gate). In NOBY, it serves no purpose but to waste time on loading screens and be buggy - it doesn't even keep the date accurate ("Two Weeks pass" - date moves up two days).
Soundtrack: Functional, but unmemorable. It matched the scene where it needed to, but otherwise left no lasting impression other than "there was one."
Story: Ugh. NOBY suffers from a classic flaw of "deep" writing. When it comes to evoking emotional response from things happening to characters, there are two options for ellicting a reaction from the reader. You can write your characters dynamically, developing the reader's attachment to them through good characterization and length of story; this way, you can have rather minor but impactful events draw emotion from the reader, whose attachment to the character magnifies their experiences. Alternatively, you can just make the events huge, such as reciprocated love, life, or death. NOBY, unfortunately, takes the latter route - lacking characters with any degree of depth, it opts to make its characters' stories disgustingly tragic in a way that, for a movie, would yell "OSCAR BAIT."
Bland, predictable, cliche in every checkbox. Unfortunately, chalk up another one up for "English VNs are crappy knockoffs."
This game was... okay.
The first half of the game is entertaining and comedic, and introduces things pretty well. And, your choices affect the second half of the game.
The second half, whichever way you go, gets a lot more emotional and dark, something I wasn't really expecting at all. So, just know that it happens if you are thinking about getting this game.
The paths that you go are pretty well done... except for the endings. It feels like some of them are incomplete, or rushed. I saw every ending (there are good and bad endings for some paths... be warned, bad endings, true to their name, are bad), and some were okay, and some I felt were pretty poorly done.
But, overall, the story was pretty good. I'd wait for a sale on this one though. Oh, it's a pretty short game too (I think I show 5 hours played, and that covered everything for me. Some may take longer to read, but 10 hours seems to be the max).
If you really want the adult version, you'll have to get it from... Mangagamer maybe? Not here on Steam. (In case that matters to you). I don't believe a patch for this exists (only for kickstarter funders, if I read right).
I wish there was a 'sideways' thumb, or a 'maybe' option for this one. But telling you to wait for a sale is good enough, I suppose.

This visual novel is quite good. Honestly, I was expecting classic "you're in high school, so date hot chicks now and don't ask questions", but plot is deeper and intriguing. Currently I'm only after MC x Ryo route and I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised, not just by the fact that the game like that offers a m x m route, but also because it was done pretty well - it was realistic and touching and I would love see more of those two together. That being said, this route feels a bit "off" from the main plot, so there are some secrets left to discover and I'm definitely going to give this game another try after some time and complete other routes.
As for non-plot related stuff, music is okay, art is great, both on sprites (though some of them seems to be missing) and CGs, menus are looking awesome. This game is very professionally made and definitely worth the price.
On the "not so good" side, I've seen there is purchasable "love scene patch". I really dislike this sort of practice. I would appreciate if devs of visual novels with +18 content would charge more for the base game and then offer patch for free then other way around, because right now it just feels like they are not offering a full product. That being said, I'm not really sure if this game needs +18 content, from what I've seen so far, it would seem out of place.
To sum it up, "No One But You" is definitely worth a recommendation for visual novels fans.
Très bon visual novel. Chaques histoire est poignante. Certaines mettant les larmes aux yeux.
I came here to jerk it not to feel. 10/10 would feel again.
I was thinking about how typical No One But You is in comparinson to the other titles one might find in the Visual Novel genre, but it really isn't. What starts as a friendly enough slice of life dating/comedy title takes a few (bizarre) turns depending on who you choose to start seeing.
Playing through each romance will make you feel hopeless in a way the more you do. There is no 'good' ending. You can have something resembling one with the exact person you choose yet you're surrounding group of friends take on depressing and often extreme ends to their stories. You can't have it so that remian a friend to them all and right all the wrongs; In the end, you're devoting yourself to one character and daming the rest. This left a somewhat sour taste on how I liked the game...but I think in a way, I think that's a 'slice of life' too. You can't help everyone around you. and friends do tend to drift apart. Perhaps a more extreme twist on that sentiment, but I can appreciate it all the same.
The romantic interests themselves are typical standards we've come to appreciate (or maybe start to loathe) in anime/VN's. The girl who hates your guts, the male best friend, the girl who decides she needs to have your babies at first sight. There is only one with what I'd call a unique backstory/personality, and she ends up having perhaps the worst ending.
The art is consistent and nice. The backgrounds are well done, character portraits ae crisp and varied, and the colors really tend to pop out at you. It's not an ugly looking VN yet it won't blow your socks off.
Trading cards, the backgrounds and icons look nice enough. The backgrounds will fill up your entire profile instead of being centered as some VN's fall prey to (and then gets covered up by everything).
Would I give it an approval? Yes, but don't expect the typical story. There are a few plotholes, nothing too serious (in mu belief) that was even noticed on my first play through.
megumi is love, megumi is life.
This game feels unfinished. I just finished the Shiro route, which was the only girl I had any interest in and wasn't just a blatant arc type. There was just a lot of plot that was unresolved in the Shiro true end even the epilogue felt short and unresolved. I'll try going through Megumi's route and see if its the same.
i can't recommend this at all. not with the ages of the people in the game and this having an adult version. getting the steam version with not buying anything from mangagamer you're fine since there was no nudity.
Love the game very much
There's actually a lot of content here and pretty decent artwork. The story goes into some pretty dark places and there's a lot of variety based on your route. But despite all of that I just couldn't get into it. I played Chinatsu's route seriously, even when the predictibility started to get really grating. Anyone who's read anything before could see where this was going a mile away. Then I played Megumi's route which goes to some really dark places but I just couldn't connect with the characters, they didn't seem real enough. After that I mostly skipped/skimmed the remaining routes to get the achievements. They too had some pretty serious twists and turns but in the end didn't provoke much of an emotional reaction. Your mileage may vary, but it was just one of those rare cases where a lot of effort clearly went into the VN but it just didn't work for me.
I was ready to write a positive review of this from the common route. The story might have been a bit cliché (amnesia, really?) and the characters might have been a bit flat but the art was mostly nice, the music is good, and the story was pretty light and fun. I even really liked the first route I played (
Chinatsu's
) quite a bit - it's a bit heavy but not necessarily in a bad way.
Then I played all of the other routes.
This game is so over the top and weird once you end up on a character's route. It's like the devs didn't have the confidence in telling a high school slice of life story so they added in all these bizarre side-plots that don't make any sense, and really REALLY heavy subject matter (suicide, human trafficking, murder, child abuse etc) are brought up kind of out of nowhere.
It's a good game. :D I've finished the game a while ago but I still remember the late nights I did the play in school days were good these moments, I enjoyed the game. XD
Cool but very depressing. Every character has some heavy ♥♥♥♥ going on and
most of the bad endings end in suicide.
Also it taught me that chewing off your tongue is a easy no cost way to kill yourself since so many characters favor it.
Summary: This game is broken, unfinished, lachluster, and disappointing. Had potential but, seems rushed and unpolished.
I'm not going to lie I really wanted to see this visual novel do well, and I had been following the production process in the last couple of months leading up to it's release. However, I'm sad to say that I am very disappointed in No One But You. The reason I am sad to say that, is because I am someone who one day aspires to produce a visual novel of my own, and as such I wanted to support someone trying to do the same. Especially someone who lives outside of Japan like myself.
That being said, this visual novel features no audible dialogue even though we were told before release that it would include it, and the game contains an option in the game menu for "voice volume". However, none of the characters are voiced, and all dialouge is simply written. This means that they were planning on including voiced characters in the final game, but that was scrapped for whatever reason. I was hoping there would be an update or something so we could actually hear some of these characters, but that has sadly not come to pass and it has been several months now since it's release.
Now, I can go on about the art style and how I am not a particularly big fan of it (which I'm not), but that would be slightly biased as some might say that they particularly like the art of the game. However, my main beef with this title is it's lack of continuity among the story arcs. Let me give you an example.
In other visual novels/dating sims, the player character is presented with a choice or choices at certain points along the story's progression. What the player chooses to do at these points directly affects the narrative, and I believe the BIGGEST sin the author of a visual novel can commit is making it so that those choices do not affect the plot appropriately.
Case and point, there is a decision point in this game where the main character Hideki is presented with a choice where if you choose one option you end up performing a prank with one of the story's heroines Megumi, if you go with the other option this prank never happens. So, on my first play through I chose the option where this prank was never pulled. However, much to my confusion later on in the story this prank is mentioned in converstaion as though it had happened, despite the fact that because of the choice I made it schould have never happened.
This alson happens with some of Hideki's relationships with some of the other characters in the story. After one brief conversation with the character Yui, the tsundere character, I decided I didn't want anything to do with her and whenever there was an option to go talk to her I chose not to. Then, what do you know a couple months pass by in a time skip, (which this game is fond of by the way, not a big fan) and suddenly, and inexplicably Yui and Hideki are friends, and I'm left sitting there like, "When the heck did that happen?! I was avoiding that stuck up b****." The story seemd to not be programmed in a way to differ from certain story lines and automatically asumes that you made certain choices that you didn't make. Which leads me to ask the question. Why include choices in this story if they won't affect the progression of the plot? I mean I'm fine with some stupid choices here and there in a visual novel, but at least have them affect the progression of the story appropriately. Heck, even if there was a choice for Hideki to eat a sandwhich or some sushi for lunch in the story, it wouldn't affect the story much, but if you put that choice in there and I have Hideki eat sushi and an hour later Megumi is asking how he liked his sandwhich I'm going to notice that!
This story also includes some non sensical plot points and events, and overall just left me feeling uninvsted in the story. Which is sad, because I wanted it to be a lot better, and it could have been. I would have gladly waited longer for a more polished and complete title with all that was promised in the Kichstarter campaign. I would have even paid more money, but sadly that is not the case and we are left with a finished product that is a fraction of what it could have been. Don't waste your time and money here and instead fork out the extra cash for titles like Clannad or Princess Evanglie.
I really enjoyed that Game: It was my 1st VN and it was a pleasure to play through it. Like it even though it was my 1st one :D
good but need a ligher game after megumi's route
Oh my god this game is amazing! I only played the Yui route so far but hell I love this game SOOO MUCH!!! Chinatsu seemed too childhood friend, Shiro is who I'm going for next time through, and Megumi...she holds a bloody knife in the intro, never go full Yandere. If the only routes are done as well as Yui's then this game gets 12/10.
A k těm právě No One But You bez servítek patří.
Nejspíše si to dám asi znova. Jo, to bude nejlepší.
1000/10.
PS: Pokud tohle čte někdo, kdo zná něco podobného, nechť mi dá vědět. Odměnou vám budiž dobrý pocit, že jste pomohli člověku, co neví, co dělat se svým životem. A možná vám propůjčím i nějakou tu slečinku ze své loli army! Horst Fuchs approves, zavolejte ihned!
I got this game for the possibility of ending it with a boy, and I made it perfectly.
I still don't get a lot of it, but it's a creepy game with a suprisingly good plot that is also fun to play.
I loved the game and reccomend it, but I don't want to play it again to end up with one of the girls, I loved the ending as it was.
Also, I'm pretty sure one of the girls is a freaking ghost. She is dead, I know it.
9/10
I've tried this out when it was a demo. I was really looking forward to this, with the intrigue of a dark secret in Hideaki's past and the somewhat entertaining cast.
I've played through a couple routes and although each has managed to move me overall, I feel something's a little lacking.
-Auto function is wonky and I need to kick it up again every now and then.
-I was promised voice acting. Where are the voices?
-Pacing can be a little awkward with the sudden time skips. This is particularly visible when you engage on a route. I would've liked to at least see how Hideaki is interacting with the other characters instead of them being put on a bus. Maybe have a little more of Hideaki's narration if he actually has been pushing the others away. The story will feel a little more fulfilling that way.
-Sometimes I feel the route ends too quickly, and the closure after each route's climax is a little rushed. I've been whammed by the events and while I'm still reeling suddenly it's all over.
Yes, the plotlines are technically complete, but they leave something to be desired. I hear there was a patch but the last we've hard from the devs is all the way back at the end of March. I'm not getting my hopes up.
This is an okay visual novel, just not the best I've read. If you want this, get it at anywhere lower than its full price.
Edit: There was a "patch", but that's a full redownload of the game with the extra content. I'm not paying another $15 to get an extra copy of this game.
Brilliant. That's the one word I have to decribe this one. I havent been this attached to a VN's Story in a while, and to me it's very close to being one of my all time favorites next to Katawa Shoujo(Not on Steam btw).
The really neat thing about the Story is how some of the character's back stories tie in with the Main Character. Nothing mind blowing, but very well written.
There are 5 routes total each with different endings. Which girl is my favorite? It's so hard to say! I felt attached to each character in the end(Except for Ryo, he's an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥)
I do have to clear this out first. There were problems in the past with certain characters after stories. Apparently the Developers had some issues with the Artist(Who is really good by the way, the art style is fantastic). Originally there was supposed to be an 18+ version, which I'm guessing some scenes happen towards the end, but the Artist refused to draw those scenes. Not only that, but it took them a while to update the After Stories. A majority of them are complete now thankfully, except for Yui. Im not sure if they fixed that yet, I finished the game long ago.
There is supposed to be an 18+ update in the future(I think?) as well as Voice Acting and a DLC Character which is pretty cool. If you're expecting to get something sexy out of it, you're not going to get that yet, but I highly recommend it regardless(Cause I really didnt mind not having 18+ scenes). It's a beautiful story with memorable characters and a protagonist you'll appreciate, because he's a good guy.
Amazing game, seriously if your looking for a good VN to get you drawn into the story this is the one. However im just gonna say prepare to cry if you do because literally every ending will make you cry.
Theres a tone of content and alot of endings so what more can you ask for in a VN :D
I have only completed one route, but DAMN was it good. It was enough to give (very manly) tears.
10/10 would cry again
Yes! Play away! Its fun and cute and awesome! The ultimate anime game! (Youtuber Approved)!
Please keep in mind that when I wrote this review, the Full Version patch (which includes the voice acting and +18 scenes) wasn't out yet, and still isn't. I finished all available routes until now a day prior to writing this review.
I think we can all agree that the West is far from producing Visual Novels with the level of professionalism we know and love from our Japanese counterparts. That being said, "No One But You" has this typically Western amateurish VN feeling to it, but I wouldn't hold it against Unwonted Studios. They managed to show more care and spend more time towards creating a truly entertaining VN in its own rights different then infamous Winged Clouds. The sad part is that Unwonted promised to polish their game up, admitting it felt rough around the edges -- but isn't showing any signs of doing so.
If anything, I have to say that I was impressed by what Unwonted managed to create here. Personally, I plan on replaying some routes once the patch comes out, that's how much I liked the experience. But on the other hand, this patch seems to be one of those hollow promises... a shame, the game itself really deserved more attention from the developers.
We have a Visual Novel with 5 different routes with different endings, a good art direction, nice writing, good taste in never exaggerating too much, but not keeping things mundane either, shocking (final) moments and excellent humor. In fact, the good humor of MC Hideaki is the trademark of this VN, and like in any good VN, his interaction with the other characters is what really kept me hooked until the very end. Unwonted managed to create characters for which you end up genuinely caring and wanting to know more about, be it about mysterious bookworm Chinatsu, genki class rep Megumi, shy and musically talented Shiro, hardboiled tsundere Yui, or self-declared "bestest friend in the whole wide world" Ryo.
I felt that in some routes the other characters may have been neglected a bit too much, to the point of almost being non-existent and only remaining as some sort of memory. I'd like to point out specially Megumi during Shiro's route... her arc seems to have just been left hanging unresolved.
Away from the amateurish stuff -- side characters suddenly having western names like Anna, artwork flashing out of nowhere for a second (whole scenes before they should appear), the calendar being unable to switch properly to the name of the next month (instead declaring that the month was repeating itself), gaining the achievement of two different endings when I finished only one, a character talking about a detail from a scene I didn't pick, and being unable to delete my save data ingame -- I'd say for Western VN readers to definitely give "No One But You" a shot. It may deserve some more polish, but it IS a fun experience guaranteed to get at least a chuckle out of you and make you feel for the characters.
Now, if only the promised patch came out already... don't get your hopes up, though.
This VN was a wonderful experience to me. I didn’t expected much to be honest (unfortunately there are a lot of VNs that have such a beautiful design, but the story/characters are bad… So I’m used to be disappointed at this point), but honestly… It was way better than I thought. The art style is truly beautiful, BGs and BGM were also amazing. And the story that is apparently a simple/cliche one, is saved by the characters. I really enjoyed them, every single one! Megumi was my favorite girl.
And I did not expected that kind of ending… Wow. o_o

Also the “Ryo’s route” caught me off guard. I liked it, but it sure was a big surprise, haha!
I really cannot wait to see more works from these developers.
8/10, might be one of the best dating sims I’ve played on Steam so far.
69/10 would get Megumi's....Sexiest... achievement again
I found the writing and story in this game to be of fairly poor quality. I wouldn't recommend this.
It's preety good. 6/10
Echoing what all of the negative reviews have reported, this game's writing is mediocre at best. The art and GUI are very pretty, especially the BGs which are just gorgeous tbh. The music isn't bad either.
But the characters are one-dimensional. I played through Ryo's route and while his relationship with the protagonist was very sweet and touching, the "conflict" of his story-line was poorly delivered. It used a lot of telling, rather than showing. It didn't make sense from a logical standpoint either. My impression is that the writer was attempting to write something beyond their ability to write, resulting in nonsense that failed to deliver the complexity its subject would suggest. I assume this is the case with the other routes, too.
It's a shame that this game has such disappointing writing; it's one of the few English-language visual novels that offers an LGBT route.
스팀에 흔하게 있는 미연시 중 하나인 No One But You (오직 너 뿐)입니다.
A story all about a 17 year old teenage boy named Hideaki who moves back to a small town in Japan that he used to live when he was younger with his mother. You'll make choices along the way as you read the novel that will direct your path to one of five possible endings.
While there are a few mispsellings and little bugs, I thought the writing was pretty good and the game will defintely deliver the "feels" if you allow yourself to get immersed in the story that this visual novel delivers to you.
My Let's Play videos would be a spoiler if you intend to play it yourself, but all nine videos can be found on Youtube under my same name. Watching only the first episode would give you a good idea of if this VN is one you might enjoy if you are undecided.
I'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind a few grammar mistakes such as missing spaces, especially if you tend to like teenage romance stories.
I myself give this one a solid 8.5 out of 10 and it's easily one of the best visual novels I've purchased and played on Steam.
If you're looking for a simple dating sim with an interesting story for each character, then this is the game for you. There are multiple characters you can choose to develop a romantic relationship with, (5 total) and the price is appropriate for the length of gameplay (about 10 hours). There are multiple endings for most characters, and some of the bad endings are pretty dark. Although there isn't as many oppotunities for choices as I would hope for, it is still just enough to make it still feel like a dating sim as opposed to just a visual novel. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend giving this game a shot.
It's certainly worth 10 dollars or on sale...
I liked the story outside of the deus ex machina (or chekhov's gun?).
The music's pretty good too.
If you sort of like visual novels and have nothing better to do this isn't bad. But it's not that great either. Regardless, I'd still sort of recommend it, grudgingly...
Firstly, it's short and cheap. 8.1 hours and I'm completely done, you can probably use more time than me, or maybe even less. I've gotten all the achivements, and all the routes.
No one but you, is a visual novel - dating simulator, is a tad bit wrong, as it's about love but there's not much requirement to get that. It's not possible to get a bad end alone, without it being close to a romance.
The illustrations are divided, the backgrounds are fairly bad - not very detailed and convincing, but it's nothing that I mind.
The character illustrations however, are really well done, with great exspressions and convincing faces.
However, the "special" illustrations for special story scenes are not that great, but fairly ok.
The story is mostly really good, though some cliches, and a bit overly dramatic usually - which ends up in a not that convincing story overall. It must be said, the stories are still moving, and put a large smile on my face and at the same time put a tear in the corner of my eye.
The rest is a standard visual novel gameplay, one downside is max resolution is 720, so fullscreen can have some pixelation, something that should never happen in a 2016 game.
CONCLUSION
You need some knowledge about anime popular culture, as it's set in Japan and (clearly) made by some anime, visual novel, Japan fan.
If you enjoy visual novels, it's a good choice to spend about 10 hours on. Especially if you enjoy dating sims.
If you don't know if you enjoy Visual novels, it's a ok first time try, as it's short and easily overcome - therefore a better choice than something long (however amazingly great)
If you don't really enjoy visual novels, but still might buy it - it's possible you'll enjoy it, but it's not a recommended choice.
Not too bad a game. Cute girls and the stories are overall okay. It's worth getting on sale perhaps. Just be careful: you could be totally with a girl and still end up with a guy because you made one totally neutral choice once....
Also, if you do go the gay route, it's pretty bad. I can think of far better ♥♥♥♥ relationships than with Ryo...
But yea, some of the paths are quite dark... but fun though!
It's clearly an unfinished game. And to think the kickstartet went so well this should have been a new pillar in the visual novel panorama. Such a shame.
I actually liked what I saw in this game. The general story kept me hooked on the game, and the backstories of the girls were also great. The game took thirteen hours for me to complete, so I think the price of the game was appropriate for its length. The girls themselves were also great, I especially liked Megumi and Chinatsu.
With all of these positive aspects of this game, you're probably wondering why I'm not recommending this game. Well, for whatever reason, the game only gives an afterstory for one of the five routes: Megumi's. The discussion board for this game had said that there would be afterstories for the other girls added to the game at some point, but this hasn't happened yet, and I'm starting to wonder if they will ever be added. But since I liked many aspects of this game, I will change my rating to "Recommended" if and when the other afterstories are added to the game.
Edit: The game now has endings for Chinatsu and Shiro. I went ahead and changed my rating to "Recommended", however, there's still no afterstory for Yui or Ryo, so just beware.
I've played all routes for this novel and I can say the whole thing is well written and the drawings are amazing. I'm just going to give you a brief description on my reactions to each route and I must say this novel isn't for the feint-hearted.
Megumi- 1st route I played I was left in utter shock. I went back and got to the 2nd route which was somewhat happier.
Shiro- 1st route well that is sad too. 2nd route I played somewhat distrubed me.
Yui- The 1st route I played was definately one of the happiest endings I've seen. The 2nd route is somewhat of a sad choice that will leave you empty.
Chinatsu- Chinatsu only has one route and it too is fairly sad.
Ryo- Also seems to have one route which is sad but not as bad as the other routes.
Overall I would reccomend this game but prepare tissues if you cry easily.
It seems this game has have been abandoned by the Devs in a semi broken state while the Dev says the game is complete.
They are working on another title as well as accepting money via Patreon for it which seem pretty shady.
Here is examples of broken things since launch that have yet to be fixed:
- No Voice Acting despite that being listed as a feature
- All routes afterstories are unable to be replayed except for Megumi's from the Main Menu once completed.
- The love scene patch that was set for 1 week after launch for MangaGamer etc backers in January has still yet to be released
- Dev keeps saying they are coming 'next week' etc but fails to meet deadlines.
Despite the really comfy music and somewhat intricate stories I wouldn't recommend it for the price. Get it on sale maybe but don't buy for full price.
Starts out predictable and full of cliches but quickly becomes deeper and darker.
You won't be on the edge of your seat, but this is the perfect game to kill some quiet time with.
Got to quack like a duck.
Shiro's route had all the feels.
10/10 emotional ducks.
Overall, No One But You is incomplete, unrealistic, and disappointing. For a game that received over $18,000 in funding from Kickstarter, it could have been better, and was completely abandoned by the devs after release. They began working on a new visual novel, only a few weeks after the release of this one.
I tried going down Shiro's route
Ended up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Megumi in a shower
Tried it again
Ended up being naked in a hot spring bath with Yui
10/10 would try to ♥♥♥♥ Shiro and fail again
Edit: *SPOILER* I finished Shiro's route and you can't ♥♥♥♥ her
Spoiler-free TL;DR: bad writing.
Spoilery TL;DR at the bottom
Pros:
-Art was pretty nice
-Music was ok
-Characters were ok
Cons:
-Game often jumped forward weeks/months, even when it seemed like significant things were happening in that time -For example, despite never choosing to talk to one character, during a timeskip I seemed to befriend them - no explanation for this was given
-BAD WRITING - WILL EXPAND UPON THIS BELOW, BUT THERE WILL BE SPOILERS
-Could use some refinement - music tended to stop abruptly rather than gradually fading out, some art was rough in places
-The date shown in the top-right corner became glitched on two occasions, permanently showing the wrong day (didn't affect gameplay, but did bother me a little)
Now then, allow me to elaborate on the writing. I played through Megumi's route and, up until the point where she became my girlfriend, everything was fine. A little bland, perhaps, but enjoyable. Then a new teacher showed up at the school, raising about fifty pedophile flags as he did so. He starts to torment Megumi behind the scenes, until you film him arguing with her and threaten to upload it online. Then Megumi tells you her tragic backstory: a year ago, the same teacher started teaching at the school, tormented her sister for a while, then tried to r*pe her. Megumi saw this as it was happening and tried to stop him, causing him to "accidentally" violently murder her sister. Then he got caught. But, one year later, he's somehow out of prison, and teaching in the same school where he committed r*pe and murder. The only explanation given for this is one line in which he says how "expensive" it was to avoid prison.
After sharing her backstory, Megumi becomes more confident in standing up to him, and it seems like life is back to normal again. As a result, she and the main protagonist both show a remarkable lack of concern about their pedophile/r*pist/murderer teacher. Surprisingly, this turns out to be a bad idea, as he then goes to her house at night, presumably to r*pe and murder her. She sends you a panicked voicemail, you run to her house rather than contacting the police or asking your mother to drive you there, and then it turns out she killed him.
SO, TO SUMMARISE: a pedophile/r*pist/murderer is caught pedo-ing/r*ping/murdering, avoids prison, returns to teach at the school where he pedo-ed/r*ped/murdered, pedo-es for a few weeks, you stand up to him, stop caring that he is a pedophile/r*pist/murderer, he goes to your girlfriends house, presumably to pedo/r*pe/murder, then she murders him.
After that, you can tell her to turn herself in or run away with you. I picked the first option, which led to her having sex with me, and then turning herself in. I'm assuming that the sex would've happened regardless of my choice. There was no sex scene; apparantly there will be a patch for that soon.
After seeing pedophilia/r*pe/murder being executed so poorly in this route (why the ♥♥♥♥ isn't he in prison; you can't pay your way out of r*pe/murder charges, let alone be re-employed by the school where you did the r*ping/murdering) I am forced to assume that the writing for the others is equally poor, so I don't intend to play through them. Kinda feels like I've wasted my money.
TL;DR: Kinda bland, until a r*pist/murderer who was caught in your school a year ago, and inexplicably avoided prison, returned to teach at the same school one year later and, despite knowing this, you and the sister of the girl who was murdered show a remarkable lack of concern. AND THAT'S JUST ONE ROUTE.
Also, why does steam censor the word "r*pe"? It took a good few minutes for me to add all those asterisks in, time which could've been spent ranting to myself about the poorly executed rape.
The game is good so far with at least 2 out the 5 routes of the game and no I will not do the route with the male "best friend", just does not appeal to me.
I was going to ask about getting good ending for Shiro (white-haired girl) and Chiro (the one with the glasses). But sadly the Shiro route only has two bad endings and my guess the girl with the glasses, only has one ending. This makes me feel very ripped off on those two routes.
Still I recommend this game for the other two girl routes and not the ones with the bad endings.
I hope the creator might not only make an update with voices added to the game, but also put some good endings to the routes I mentioned...
i will reccommend this game due to cute waifus, great jokes, cliche to the point you like it, and 9/10 music
the only bad thing so far is that every time i play it crashes every 30 min or so, i would reccomend save often like every 10 min to be sure an ex. would be my videos where in just about all of them it crashes in the middle. dont worry i wont leave a link but just check my info if you want to check them out.
i love this game more so for the jokes and puns the protaganist throws and hachi i mean megumi the stalker/the secret yandere.
overall this game looks pleasing which i give a good 10/10
the puns and the characters will make you laugh all the way i give a good 11/10 because i like cheesy jokes
the story is well obvious and only megumi and ryo throw in a new feel for the cliche story 7/10
next would be overall game itself i gaurentee you will like this game and not completely hate it 9/10
Hidey~ where are you~
oh crap megumi's coming, got'a run!
Edit to Update Review; see bottom:
There are a lot of nonsense positive reviews spamming
this game to look acceptable, so I thought I'd throw my
hat in with the negative side.
I think most of the negative reviews hit it very well.
It's a poor VN, but worse than that are the developers
questionable actions.
Just an amateur research into the game shows this
game never should've seen the light of day in it's current state.
They released a broken product for a cash grab,
and their inexperience is destroying what could've
been an acceptable game.
This is the type of release that gives kickstarters a bad name.
Without even having to touch how broken the game is,
I can unequivocally give this game a negative review
based soley on the broken promises
and frequent evasion of the developers.
Update: Just like this game, my updates will be severly lacking.
Please do not support these devs in any way. This game is incomplete
and the devs are trying to make you pay extra for the full promised experience.
Admittedly, I started playing this game as a joke. Had a bit of money, was bored out of my mind. Wanted to do something that was a change to my normal pace. Came across this game by accident and thought it would be amusing. Upon first impression, it looked like some typical anime love story. What could possibly entertain me more than that?
The first part of the game is a warmup. The decisions you make will determine who you end up "with" in the second half of the game. Once that's said and done, you start spending time with the person the game selected for you (no real choice, it's whoever you paid the most attention to in the game). It's adorable, it's funny, it's awkward. A bunch of teenagers just going through high school. I graduated high school two years ago, so I easily relate to the situations.
But low and behold, this game had more in mind for me than anticipated. As the second half of the game progressed, it became more fundamentally obvious that this game was about to take a dark turn. Though with the girl I "picked" (I basically just went with the flow and ended up with Megumi), I had no idea it was gonna turn in the direction it did. Sure there are "happy, good" endings to this game, but it's dark side, the side that gripped me most, was a helluva lot more than I bargained for. After finishing all scenarios (Shiro's getting to me the most cuz all endings for her are depressing regardless), I will have to take a couple of weeks/months before I have the energy or will to do this again.
This game was riveting. From beginning to end I found myself wanting more. The sheer anticipation of learning about these characters kept me playing. I don't obsess over stuff like this at all, but it's even more rare for me to get emotionally attached to something. This was no exception. I legitimately felt like I was in the main character's shoes from start to finish. I felt everything he felt. More importantly, I experienced intense drama that I haven't seen in a long time. This is a novel. If you want a more interactive game, I do not recommend it. But if you are like me and look for plot, development, and/or emotions, this game I would recommend first for years to come.
Thank you developers for the experience. I hope to be able to delve into your next creation with as much excitement as I leave this game with. I give this game a 9/10.
The routes i have completed
Yui : :,)
Megumi: O_O..... okay fine fine, im cool, im fine
Shiro: JESUSCHRIST!!!...........Im still at denial stage, i think i ll need a few seasons of therapy after this.
I wanted to like "No One But You", I really did. But it has so many problems that I just can't recommend it. There's a lot of ideas in here that could have been great, but all the plotholes and inconsistencies really weigh it down. This VN also tries way too hard to be very emotional and tug on your heartstrings, but it doesn't work with poor pacing and one-dimensional characters. NOBY takes a lot of inspiration from common Japanese VNs, but fails to understand what makes those elements from that medium work well.
Because of that, I'd rather recommend you read a JVN instead, such as "Yume Miru Kusuri" if you want dark themes plus romance done right, or "If My Heart Had Wings" if you want high school romance done right. Anything but this. Don't get me wrong, there are a few parts in this VN I think are pretty cool, but as a collective whole it's pretty bad.
2/10

I've done both the tsundere girl and Chinatsu paths so far, and once you unlock the paths, the stories are really good. The down side is that there's too much repetition in the events which connect the paths for the various girls. But I can say that one of the stories was so sad that it almost brought tears to my eyes, and I'm a guy!
i have mixed feelings about this review because on one hand i really enjoyed myself but on the other looking at my own profile picture makes me sad now
This masterpiece has the honor of being the first game I have requested a refund for. The writing is akin to high school fanfiction, the characters are super cliche and seriously unlikeable and no matter how many times you tell yourself It's Going to Get Better Give It Time it simply doesn't. It's Fading Hearts levels of bad and if you don't know how damning that statement is then draw your conclusions from the fact that I went through the trouble of requesting a refund for a game I bought for about 5 bucks. It's bad. Really bad. Grace a more deserving game with your hard earned money.
