With official teams, drivers, and tracks from the 2021 season, along with a cinematic broadcast-style presentation, it aimed to usher NASCAR gaming into a new era. On paper, the shift in engine technology and visual fidelity suggested a meaningful leap forward for the franchise.

Visually, NASCAR 21: Ignition shows glimpses of that ambition.
