The gameplay is similar to an older game called Tri-Peaks Solitaire To Go. It is addictive. Tri-Peaks Solitaire To Go is a more interesting game because of the animations, music, and sound effects. That game won't work with Windows 7,8,10, or 11. The gameplay in Mystic Journey is difficult. There aren't many Joker cards or bonuses that will help you remove all the cards. You will have to play the same layout of cards many times until you finally remove all the cards. You could always purchase more Joker cards and bonuses from Steam. I didn't like the music that much. The modern, upbeat music didn't make me feel like I was stranded on a spooky, deserted island. There isn't much to see on the islands. There is a background picture of what's on the island. There are no animations. You will never see birds flying or ocean waves crashing onto the beach while you are searching for cards. Something I didn't understand about this Steam version until later is that you have a limited amount of lives available. You use an extra life every time you restart a level. The extra lives eventually regenerate until you have a maximum of eight lives again. The developer's original game doesn't have that limitation.

While a good tri-peaks style solitare game, the built in health system for "tries" at levels, the gem requirements to gain additional power-ups when they run out or additional retries without able to generally gain them from completing levels, and the very limited access to power-ups based on buying them or maybe getting them after completing a level has very mobile game vibes while being a PC game which drops it from being a decent game to lackluster.

Also, the imbalance of the all card reveal against the +5 cards, Joker, and removing all face-up cards is annoying. As a player you never really want to use it after trying it for the first time as it only temporarily reveals them instead of leaving them revealed for the entire round which would make it more inline with the other 3 power-ups.

Abzock-Handygames für den PC sind es seltenst wert, positiv bewertet zu werden.
Wenig Leben, viele Level die ohne Bonus nicht lösbar sind. Bonuskarten, neu mischen, etc und mehr Leben, um überhaupt weiterspielen zu können, darf man sich für Euros erkaufen. Also klassisches Handyspiel zum Abzocken. Deswegen auch kostenlos zum Runterladen.

Klar kann ich jedes Mal, wenn der Algorithmus absichtlich schlechte Karten verteilt (und das tut er spätestens ab Insel 4 quasi immer), 24 Stunden warten um 8 neue Versuche zu starten. Kann ich aber auch lassen. Ich steuere meine Zeit lieber selbst, als sie fremdsteuern zu lassen.

This game is so relaxing to play. The background music is so lovely, I would love to actually purchase the soundtrack and have it on my phone. The background pictures are so beautiful. A few times I just look at the background rather than just actually playing the level I’m on. The structures that the cards are laid out into are done really well and are quite challenging and complex – it’s not an easy ride at all on some of them. Of course, a portion of this game does come down to luck, due to the cards drawn and laid face down, etc. but this is still a really nice game to play. I definitely have fun with it, and I think that this is one of those that people should give a try. I definitely recommend it, and if you love solitaire games, this may just be the one for you.

this game is nothing more than a pay to win on steroids. so much so that games like this should be illegal. in order to be able to beat some levels you have no choice but to use power ups. and if you have no power ups than guess what. get ready to open up that wallet. cause with no power up than you are not beating the level. all in all don't play this game not fun at all.

Not a horrible game, but not really worth playing unless you're willing to spend lots of $$$ in micro-transactions.
Cons:
- Almost impossible to get powerups without purchasing for cash. Yes, I know that's how they make their money on a FtP game, but offering rewards for exceptional plays and such goes a long way towards encouraging further play and purchases. As it stands now, you burn through your initial allotment of powerups rather quickly, then only get 1-2 more every 10-15 levels.
- The game seems to use a 2-deck system instead of a single 52-card deck. This makes many of the later layouts virtually impossible to win without extreme luck. You'll regularly find yourself in situations with 3-4 cards of a single rank showing and have to flip through 8-10 cards before you find a match. It also makes strategy in the game virtually useless, since clearing that 4th Jack instead of the Nine doesn't mean anything when there's probably a 5th Jack in the layout somewhere.
- Nitpick: You have to SKIP the intro animation every.single.time you play the game. Not a real problem, but annoying. Show it once at the beginning and then don't bother me with it.
- There's only one style of card. Making additional faces or backs available would keep the game from getting stale. Assuming you keep playing it after realizing it's impossible to complete without paying for powerups.

Pros:
- The layouts are interesting and challenging
- The BGM is simple, but pleasant. I turned it off after a while since it gets monotonous, but the style suits the game. More varied BGM would be nice.
- The "challenge" cards are interesting. Timed cards and such are a nice break from the typical challenges.

Overall, it's worth a play, but don't expect to get much past the middle of the Forest island without paying for a bunch of powerups.

Mystic Journey: Tri Peaks Solitaire - классический пасьянс солитер. Я не совсем понимаю по каким правилам его тут раскладывать. Неужели солитер может быть таким тугим и труднорешаемым? И вообще солитер "Три пирамиды" раскладывается в виде трех башен. Здесь же карты разбросаны хаотично. Бонусов никаких не дают, так что разложить пасьянс на три звезды практически невозможно. Это меня очень расстроило

I love solitaire games, that said, This is the only one i've Disliked so far, this is by far the worst out of like 10 that I own.
Seems like the only way to get diamonds is by buying them.

Game gets progressively harder and by the 3rd island Wins are extremely rare if your not buying power ups.
Just seems kinda like a low effort mobile game.
Weak Story, Power ups are ok but extremely few and far between.
Would of been better without the p2w aspect.
Theres a line where being a F2P game wants and needs to make money and is just being greedy and making the game next to impossible to beat without buying.

Mystic Journey: Tri Peaks Solitaire is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a cheap nasty cash grab by greedy mobile devs. This mobile app is a basic solitaire game where you drag cards around by putting your finger on your iPhone screen.

While the art assets look passable, it's just a cheap glossy veneer over an evil cash harvesting hustle, as so many mobile apps are. You will quickly find you're time/paygated and must buy mobile peasant in-game unlocks and boosts with real world money to progress. Mobile screen tapper extortion games like this don't belong on PC. While they advertise this game as " free ", this is part of the racket, they will very quickly be asking you to hand over your money so you can keep tapping your phone screen.

This is PC, not mobile. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming rig so I could pretend it's an iPhone. There are genuinely good free to play games on PC. Then there's cash grab nastiness from mobile game peddlers like this one. Avoid this at all costs. This is just a nasty, predatory attempt at extorting PC gamers because mobile devs got away with extorting mobile peasants and they think they can get some of your money too. Don't give it to them.

Quit.Uninstall this game. Go start windows 10 Microsoft Solitaire collection . It's fun game, but I'm really sick and tired of pay to play games where if you refuse to pay, eventually you have to stop playing because there's a time limit if you run out of lives. One of the biggest down sides to this game though, is that during the tutorial, it forces you to use one of the only two free jokers you get, and there is no way to get around it/skip it so you can avoid using it, and unlike most games which gives it back to you after the tutorial, you do not get it back here.

Still if you like solitaire games, this is a good time waster. If you like Tri-Peaks Solitaire though, this may not be for you. I'm sure there are better Tri-Peaks Solitaire games out there. If you find them, please let me know.

I love solitaire games, but this one will set you up to fail from the start. I consider myself a fairly decent player, but the need for micro transactions and discrepancies in the cards are all set up to cause frustration. Even if there was a small chance of being able to beat all these games, I'd change my rating, but there is not. Save yourself the frustration and just pay a little for the Faerie Solitaire series.

I love solitaire and found this one very disappointing. I refuse to pay money for a FTP game and if you plan on getting anywhere in this game, within a decent time frame, you need to do just that...spend money! Some of the levels are just stupid hard. They don't even give you rewards for completing all levels so "hint cards" are few and far between. You only get rewards when completing levels that have parts to progress to the next island.
Let me add...I have tried this game 4 times now...I uninstall, then get bored and think, it wasn't that bad was it? And yeah, it's that bad. I was stuck on one level through 3 of the uninstalls...then some how I got a card to use that helped me beat the level. Each card, if you were to buy them as needed, are 5 diamonds each. These are the "hint" cards: extra 5 cards, joker, sneak a peak at the cards underneath and remove all face cards. Without these on some levels, forget it!! And you don't get that many diamonds. I had a total of 15 that I got from world completions(I think). So at 5 a card, you would need to buy more to be able to advance or sit and play the same level over and over praying one time it will go to your advantage....good luck with that.
So I am uninstalling once again and this time for good.

This game can suck it.

All I wanted was the damn heart emoticon without paying $3 for it on the market. Turns out the only way to get cards is to wait for a booster pack. [i]The game has cards, but no drops.[/i]

Anyway, the game is interesting, but it's pay to win. Or... pay to have a [i]chance[/i] at winning. You have to clear a deck of cards, of varying arrangement, from the play area in order to progress across a map. The problem is that the cards are random—[i]I think[/i]—so you'll be dealt hands that you can't win no matter how smartly you play. In fact, it seems at times that the cards are purposely arranged to make it next to impossible to win, but that might be my imagination. You get some free items that can improve your chances, like a wild card and an undo, but once you use them up you have to buy more with crystals. How do you get crystals? You buy them. Like, with actual money.

It's a shamelessly monetized cash grab that feels like it cheats to encourage you to spend money. Too bad, really, because I was enjoying the concept until I got too annoyed to play any more.

Relativ viele negative Reviews... ist mir ein wenig unbegreiflich. Ich zocke das Game nun schon insgesamt 30 Std. und bin nun auf der letzten Insel (Oase), die derzeit verfügbar ist, habe alle Erfolge errungen und keinen einzigen Cent bezahlt. Zugegeben, manchmal ist es schon ein wenig frustrierend wenn man für ein Level dutzende von Versuchen benötigt, aber irgendwann hat man eben das kleine Quäntchen Glück. Das Spiel lässt sich super mal zwischendurch spielen. Die Hintergrundeffekte wie Vogelgezwitscher gefallen mir sehr gut und sind entspannend. Die Grafik ist auch hübsch und bunt, ich mag sowas. Alles in allem fesselt mich das Spiel enorm. Ich bin ja eigentlich ein Achievement Hunter und nachdem ich alle Erfolge bei einem Spiel errungen habe widme ich mich normalerweise dem nächsten Spiel. Aber das Spiel hier zocke ich noch immer, das hat schon was zu sagen. Ich kann es nur empfehlen!

I like the game. Already beat it, well I am still waiting on new levels. Which by the way, it says its coming soon. Its been at least 6 months and I'm still waiting. But I still like the game! :)
