Loved MX Unleashed when I was a kid, and this scratches that same itch on PC. Default resolution is low, but all it takes is a simple mod or two to get the game feeling great. Would recommend if you are able to drag and drop a few extra files.

Gostei muito do MX vs. ATV Unleashed porque é uma mistura brutal entre motocross e todo-o-terreno, o que traz muita variedade às corridas. As pistas são cheias de saltos e obstáculos, e a física dos veículos é divertida e realista na medida certa, tornando as corridas super intensas. Adoro poder personalizar as motos e os buggies, o que dá um toque pessoal ao jogo. É aquele tipo de jogo que me faz querer estar sempre a melhorar as manobras e a bater recordes. Para mim, é uma experiência de corrida diferente e cheia de adrenalina.

Excellent game, back in the day when it actually worked properly on my PS2. Excited to play again and enjoying it, I find what seems to be a known bug where the save profile is damaged for no good reason. Effectively making me start my progress over every time I reload the game. Any fix for this issue would be appreciated!

游戏本身在Win 11系统上有运行问题，论坛里面有补丁可以自己找一下。这代本身设计是很好的，入手简单难度循序渐进，而且没有任何与难度挂钩的强制解锁项目，都能用特技积分购买；但是PC端画面相比主机没有任何优化，还继续锁定30fps是真的有点难顶。另一个问题是MX vs ATV系列一直到Reflex之前全都是按Rainbow最早给PS2做的独占ATV Offroad Fury做的操作键位，键盘和Xbox手柄玩起来很蹩脚，所以推荐找一个类似PS2的手柄来玩，或者直接玩PS2版（我就是这样）。PC最大的亮点是赛道编辑器，这个游戏这么多年了UGC内容已经非常丰富，仔细找找就有。总体来说是一代经典，也是这个系列评分最高的作品之一。

Decades after the original release there is only a very basic implementation of the racing and climbing experience.
I bought this game and REFLEX for about 3.5 dollars, on other platforms (PS2 and the old pc dvd release) i must have spent 500 hours playing. These two games are in my humble opinion, the best motocross games ever made. Way better than the disastrous monster energy games and MXGP, and way more fun to play, even if they feel more arcadey.
By the way, there is now a widescreen FullHD 60FPS patch (check the community) and it runs beautifully on Linux (steam deck too)

Great game. One of my favourites in the series.
I've only played now for like nearly 4h in this game, and so far it's just as I remember playing it back in the day, and now that I have more proper experience with other MX vs. ATV games, I now have an easier time playing games like this.
I personally have not had any issues with the game other than a minor one when I played on my Steam Deck, which only seem to occur whenever I do events like the Trophy Trucks or Monster Trucks during an MX/ATV championship, however one that I seem to understand and had a bit of a problem with as well is the lack of controller support, or at least what I thought.
It does apparently have controller support, but not fully. You can use a controller during racing events, but not in menus for some reason, or at least the stick and D-pad. However strangely enough, the face buttons does work in the menus, and it functions just like on consoles, so no need to map ESC to B or something, though you can't pause the game either, so that needs to be mapped.
It was so strange that I had to make my own Steam Imput Layout just to get around this, especially after trying out other Community Layouts and personally disliked them, many of them using the arrow keys mapped to the left stick which is a big no for me. Anyone can give my layout a try btw, though I don't know if it only works on PC or even Steam Deck users can use it, I'm new to Communuity Layouts. Personally this is my only nitpick about this port since I'm very baffled over how Beenox managed to complicate such a simple thing, unless this was a standard at the time.
But yeah, still a great racing game, still holds up very well, and I highly recommend it, with the only caviat in this version being that you need to use a Community Layout to be able to play it properly, and a right layout at that.

I knew from the graphics and gameplay which studio made this, this was my first and never realized that this was made by the guys who made atv offroad fury, i loved atv offroad fury 2 and blazin trails, the music is so good in these and the gameplay, it says controller not supported but i am able to use my xbox series X controller i exclusively use for pc wirelessly and i mapped the buttons to the controller without any extra program i just went to the menu to select which buttons to map ez pz, but for the main menu and stuff or pause menu use mouse and keyboard 10/10 game was on the PS2 so glad I found this on here and during the sale

_на самом🦕деле MX vs. ATV Unleashed представляет для меня академический интерес, в плане изучения видеоигры, симулятора мотокроссных гонок по бездорожью, чуть ли ни первой в своей стилистике
_главное🦕это весело, плюс колорит всей этой спортивной дисциплине добавляет "та самая музыка" которая кочует из Need for Speed: Underground и других схожих гонок по тематике. Не забываю вспоминать о физике данной видеоигры, особенно используя MX приходится не просто балансировать в полёте, приземляться грамотно на нужное колесо и входить в повороты, главное - не падать! А при каждом не приятном исходе удара об землю или прилёта сверху твоего коллеги наблюдать за разлётом забавно. Не могу не заметить искусственный интеллект, в гонке как и тебе ему свойственно ошибаться, вылетать с трассы и всячески подрезать тебя

I played this many times as a kid and I still enjoy it nowadays for the nostalgia as an adult but looking back at it now the game is very much a product of it’s time and your typical run of the mill motocross and off road racer from the early 2000’s but with that being said it is easily the best title in the series but honestly I’m being rather biased since I grew up on it.
I’m recommending the game purely because it was a childhood favourite of mine but if you didn’t play this as a kid then it’s honestly nothing special but it was certainly great for it’s time and is still worth picking up if you wanna relive the memories.

it's easy , It's got a decent old soundtrack . It's kind of a mindless game easy to focus on. Not too detailed orientated. Doesn't matter what motorcycle you pick or what ATV you ride you can pretty much beat the game with any vehicle. The special challenges can be kind of a pain in the , you know what ! Cause they're a bit antiquated because it's an old game. Yeah the planes are It's around 5 Bucks I recommend it too hard to fly and some of the vehicles are a bit way too bouncy.

Absolute childhood classic, this game was my jam when I was a kid. Probably my favorite MX Vs ATV game asied from untamed, the soundtrack is so damn awesome! I miss this era of video games so much
just emulate it, this version has zero controller support and has some of the worst controls ive ever seen
Works perfectly fine on Proton with a PS4 controller - use SpoiledMilo's controller mapping.
But: probably impossible (so far) to get maximum preload on any jump, including FMX. So, while the enchanced resolution helps with playing tracks, it will be harder to get "store points" because you can't backflip. Some jumps on Nationals tracks are close, but still easy.
But I'd rather get more than 80%-90% preload on jumps so I can do tricks, so just emulate with PCSX2.
Buy the Steam version on sale if you miss seeing two-strokes in video games - but know the promoted screenshots are just 'cinematic' quality. (I hear MXGP games have some 2-strokes?)

Runs at 30 fps but is still a joy to play. The newer games just don't get it. They are too busy being realistic and stuff.

This is my all-time comfort game, and I own four copies of it. With that much experience, I can say that the PC version is absolutely worth it. The track builder is not the most robust editing tool in a racing game, but it is incredibly fun to mess around with. There are some compatibility issues with some brands of graphics cards, so be aware of that before you buy, but otherwise the PC port is fairly stable. This is based on the console release, so it has the content that was cut from On The Edge, but doesn't have that version's new content. Unfortunately, this means the aircraft races are still here. They're a fun novelty, but very unpleasant to actually play (I usually take out the AI's propeller and just cheese them to make the race go by faster). That said, every other vehicle is fun to drive, it has some of the best arcade physics of any game I've played, and the tracks are all incredibly creative and interesting. With how low the price goes on sale you are doing yourself a disservice by not playing it. Now we can only hope they port MX Unleashed and MvA Untamed to PC eventually.

W game. It took me some time to get my controller to work, but you can get it to work really easy. Best soundtrack oat, reminds me of being in the garage while my dad worked on sportbikes.
